I had to create a user `IIS APPPOOL\DefaultAppPool' as shown below in SQL Server. Security > Login > Right click and press 'New Login'. You only enter the username as show in red in the screen.
Then go into that new user properties, check the database this user will access (marked in blue below) and select db_owner
as well. I had to select because although connection was working but subsequent SELECT queries didn't had the access if this was not selected.
These two should do it. Basically you are making the new user owner for the database so it has full access.
You don't need to restart SQL Server or anything, should work.
printf("\nmaximum of %d and %d is = %d",a,b,c);
There are several problems in your code.
First the big ones:
You are creating a new figure and a new axes in every iteration of your loop ?
put fig = plt.figure
and ax = fig.add_subplot(1,1,1)
outside of the loop.
Don't use the Locators. Call the functions ax.set_xticks()
and ax.grid()
with the correct keywords.
With plt.axes()
you are creating a new axes again. Use ax.set_aspect('equal')
.
The minor things:
You should not mix the MATLAB-like syntax like plt.axis()
with the objective syntax.
Use ax.set_xlim(a,b)
and ax.set_ylim(a,b)
This should be a working minimal example:
import numpy as np
import matplotlib.pyplot as plt
fig = plt.figure()
ax = fig.add_subplot(1, 1, 1)
# Major ticks every 20, minor ticks every 5
major_ticks = np.arange(0, 101, 20)
minor_ticks = np.arange(0, 101, 5)
ax.set_xticks(major_ticks)
ax.set_xticks(minor_ticks, minor=True)
ax.set_yticks(major_ticks)
ax.set_yticks(minor_ticks, minor=True)
# And a corresponding grid
ax.grid(which='both')
# Or if you want different settings for the grids:
ax.grid(which='minor', alpha=0.2)
ax.grid(which='major', alpha=0.5)
plt.show()
Output is this:
To just get the index column names df.index.names
will work for both a single Index or MultiIndex as of the most recent version of pandas.
As someone who found this while trying to find the best way to get a list of index names + column names, I would have found this answer useful:
names = list(filter(None, df.index.names + df.columns.values.tolist()))
This works for no index, single column Index, or MultiIndex. It avoids calling reset_index() which has an unnecessary performance hit for such a simple operation. I'm surprised there isn't a built in method for this (that I've come across). I guess I run into needing this more often because I'm shuttling data from databases where the dataframe index maps to a primary/unique key, but is really just another column to me.
To Solve this Error just initialize that variable above that loop or statement. For Example var a =""
You can also use the RestSharp library for example
var userName = "myuser";
var password = "mypassword";
var host = "170.170.170.170:333";
var client = new RestClient("https://" + host + "/method1");
client.Authenticator = new HttpBasicAuthenticator(userName, password);
var request = new RestRequest(Method.POST);
request.AddHeader("Accept", "application/json");
request.AddHeader("Cache-Control", "no-cache");
request.AddHeader("Content-Type", "application/json");
request.AddParameter("application/json","{}",ParameterType.RequestBody);
IRestResponse response = client.Execute(request);

Please see the following information from user Pekka ?
According to the manual, destructors are executed even if the script gets terminated using die()
or exit()
:
The destructor will be called even if script execution is stopped using exit()
. Calling exit() in a destructor will prevent the remaining shutdown routines from executing.
According to this PHP: destructor vs register_shutdown_function, the destructor does not get executed when PHP's execution time limit is reached (Confirmed on Apache 2, PHP 5.2 on Windows 7).
The destructor also does not get executed when the script terminates because the memory limit was reached. (Just tested)
The destructor does get executed on fatal errors (Just tested) Update: The OP can't confirm this - there seem to be fatal errors where things are different
It does not get executed on parse errors (because the whole script won't be interpreted)
The destructor will certainly not be executed if the server process crashes or some other exception out of PHP's control occurs.
Referenced in this question Are there any instances when the destructor in PHP is NOT called?
You can use format
or formatC
to, ahem, format your axis labels.
For whole numbers, try
x <- 10 ^ (1:10)
format(x, scientific = FALSE)
formatC(x, digits = 0, format = "f")
If the numbers are convertable to actual integers (i.e., not too big), you can also use
formatC(x, format = "d")
How you get the labels onto your axis depends upon the plotting system that you are using.
You can do this, just wrap it in typeof()
foo.GetColumnValues(typeof(int))
public void GetColumnValues(Type type)
{
//logic
}
I would just change the webpage to whatever you are using for error handling:
getWindow().requestFeature(Window.FEATURE_PROGRESS);
webview.getSettings().setJavaScriptEnabled(true);
final Activity activity = this;
webview.setWebChromeClient(new WebChromeClient() {
public void onProgressChanged(WebView view, int progress) {
// Activities and WebViews measure progress with different scales.
// The progress meter will automatically disappear when we reach 100%
activity.setProgress(progress * 1000);
}
});
webview.setWebViewClient(new WebViewClient() {
public void onReceivedError(WebView view, int errorCode, String description, String
failingUrl) {
Toast.makeText(activity, "Oh no! " + description, Toast.LENGTH_SHORT).show();
}
});
webview.loadUrl("http://slashdot.org/");
this can all be found on http://developer.android.com/reference/android/webkit/WebView.html
Enable allow_url_fopen From cPanel Or WHM in PHP INI Section
There is no such functionality in jQuery. Use JSON.stringify
or alternatively any jQuery plugin with similar functionality (e.g jquery-json).
A TextBlock does not actually inherit from Control so it does not have properties that you would generally associate with a Control. Your best bet for adding a border in a style is to replace the TextBlock with a Label
See this link for more on the differences between a TextBlock and other Controls
In Python 3+, print
is a function. When you call
print('hello world')
Python translates it to
print('hello world', end='\n')
You can change end
to whatever you want.
print('hello world', end='')
print('hello world', end=' ')
To find the HSV value of Green, try following commands in Python terminal
green = np.uint8([[[0,255,0 ]]])
hsv_green = cv2.cvtColor(green,cv2.COLOR_BGR2HSV)
print hsv_green
[[[ 60 255 255]]]
@thamme-gowda's solution works for images too!

You can check this out on a gist I made for that. Here is a render of the table hack on GitHub and GitLab:
if we have multiple databases and we need to select all tables for a particular database we can use TABLE_SCHEMA
to define database name as:
select table_name from information_schema.tables where TABLE_SCHEMA='dbname';
And here is a simple Send-MailMessage
example with username/password for anyone looking for just that
$secpasswd = ConvertTo-SecureString "PlainTextPassword" -AsPlainText -Force
$cred = New-Object System.Management.Automation.PSCredential ("username", $secpasswd)
Send-MailMessage -SmtpServer mysmptp -Credential $cred -UseSsl -From '[email protected]' -To '[email protected]' -Subject 'TEST'
It is possible to avoid constructor annotations with jdk8 where optionally the compiler will introduce metadata with the names of the constructor parameters. Then with jackson-module-parameter-names module Jackson can use this constructor. You can see an example at post Jackson without annotations
I use this rule for my applications:
x.y.z
Where:
Example:
There's a description of how to do this at Resize a column in a PostgreSQL table without changing data. You have to hack the database catalog data. The only way to do this officially is with ALTER TABLE, and as you've noted that change will lock and rewrite the entire table while it's running.
Make sure you read the Character Types section of the docs before changing this. All sorts of weird cases to be aware of here. The length check is done when values are stored into the rows. If you hack a lower limit in there, that will not reduce the size of existing values at all. You would be wise to do a scan over the whole table looking for rows where the length of the field is >40 characters after making the change. You'll need to figure out how to truncate those manually--so you're back some locks just on oversize ones--because if someone tries to update anything on that row it's going to reject it as too big now, at the point it goes to store the new version of the row. Hilarity ensues for the user.
VARCHAR is a terrible type that exists in PostgreSQL only to comply with its associated terrible part of the SQL standard. If you don't care about multi-database compatibility, consider storing your data as TEXT and add a constraint to limits its length. Constraints you can change around without this table lock/rewrite problem, and they can do more integrity checking than just the weak length check.
In line 2, there's a std::string
involved (name
). There are operations defined for char[] + std::string
, std::string + char[]
, etc. "Hello " + name
gives a std::string
, which is added to " you are "
, giving another string, etc.
In line 3, you're saying
char[] + char[] + char[]
and you can't just add arrays to each other.
The current object is explicitly passed to the method as the first parameter. self
is the conventional name. You can call it anything you want but it is strongly advised that you stick with this convention to avoid confusion.
you can use app:layout_constraintVertical_weight
it same as layout_weight
in linearlayout
<android.support.constraint.ConstraintLayout
xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
xmlns:app="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res-auto"
xmlns:tools="http://schemas.android.com/tools"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent">
<Button
android:id="@+id/button4"
android:layout_width="0dp"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"
android:text="Button"
app:layout_constraintLeft_toLeftOf="parent"
app:layout_constraintRight_toLeftOf="@+id/button5"
app:layout_constraintVertical_weight="1"/>
<Button
android:id="@+id/button5"
android:layout_width="0dp"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"
android:text="Button"
app:layout_constraintLeft_toRightOf="@+id/button4"
app:layout_constraintRight_toRightOf="parent"
app:layout_constraintVertical_weight="1"/>
</android.support.constraint.ConstraintLayout>
NOTE: app:layout_constraintVertical_weight
(app:layout_constraintHorizontal_weight
) will work with android:layout_width="0dp"
(android:layout_height="0dp"
To add class without JQuery just append yourClassName
to your element className
document.documentElement.className += " yourClassName";
To remove class you can use replace()
function
document.documentElement.className.replace(/(?:^|\s)yourClassName(?!\S)/,'');
Also as @DavidThomas mentioned you'd need to use the new RegExp()
constructor if you want to pass class names dynamically to the replace function.
An example using jQuery is below. Hope this helps

Here a solution that will work with Solaris and AIX as well.
Manipulating the Timezone is possible for changing the clock some hours. Due to the daylight saving time, 24 hours ago can be today or the day before yesterday.
You are sure that yesterday is 20 or 30 hours ago. Which one? Well, the most recent one that is not today.
echo -e "$(TZ=GMT+30 date +%Y-%m-%d)\n$(TZ=GMT+20 date +%Y-%m-%d)" | grep -v $(date +%Y-%m-%d) | tail -1
The -e parameter used in the echo command is needed with bash, but will not work with ksh. In ksh you can use the same command without the -e flag.
When your script will be used in different environments, you can start the script with #!/bin/ksh or #!/bin/bash. You could also replace the \n by a newline:
echo "$(TZ=GMT+30 date +%Y-%m-%d)
$(TZ=GMT+20 date +%Y-%m-%d)" | grep -v $(date +%Y-%m-%d) | tail -1
You need to use Dispatcher.BeginInvoke
. I did not test it but you can check this link(this is the same link provided by Julio G) to have better understanding on how to update the UI controls from different thread. I have modified your ReadData()
code
public void ReadData()
{
int counter = 0;
while (SerialData.IsOpen)
{
if (counter == 0)
{
//try
//{
InputSpeed = Convert.ToInt16(SerialData.ReadChar());
CurrentSpeed = InputSpeed;
if (CurrentSpeed > MaximumSpeed)
{
MaximumSpeed = CurrentSpeed;
}
SpeedTextBox.Dispatcher.BeginInvoke(System.Windows.Threading.DispatcherPriority.Normal,
new Action(delegate() { SpeedTextBox.Text = "Current Wheel Speed = " + Convert.ToString(CurrentSpeed) + "Km/h"; });//update GUI from this thread
DistanceTravelled = DistanceTravelled + (Convert.ToInt16(CurrentSpeed) * Time);
DistanceTravelledTextBox.Dispatcher.BeginInvoke(System.Windows.Threading.DispatcherPriority.Normal,
new Action(delegate() {DistanceTravelledTextBox.Text = "Total Distance Travelled = " + Convert.ToString(DistanceTravelled) + "Km"; });//update GUI from this thread
//}
//catch (Exception) { }
}
if (counter == 1)
{
try
{
RiderInput = Convert.ToInt16(SerialData.ReadLine());
if (RiderInput > maximumRiderInput)
{
maximumRiderInput = RiderInput;
}
RiderInputTextBox.Dispatcher.BeginInvoke(System.Windows.Threading.DispatcherPriority.Normal,
new Action(delegate() { RiderInputTextBox.Text = "Current Rider Input Power =" + Convert.ToString(RiderInput) + "Watts"; });//update GUI from this thread
}
catch (Exception) { }
}
if (counter == 2)
{
try
{
MotorOutput = Convert.ToInt16(SerialData.ReadLine());
if (MotorOutput > MaximumMotorOutput)
{
MaximumMotorOutput = MotorOutput;
}
MotorOutputTextBox.Dispatcher.BeginInvoke(System.Windows.Threading.DispatcherPriority.Normal,
new Action(delegate() { MotorOutputTextBox.Text = "Current Motor Output = " + Convert.ToString(MotorOutput) + "Watts"; });//update GUI from this thread
}
catch (Exception) { }
}
counter++;
if (counter == 3)
{
counter = 0;
}
}
}
Configuring Identity to your existing project is not hard thing. You must install some NuGet package and do some small configuration.
First install these NuGet packages with Package Manager Console:
PM> Install-Package Microsoft.AspNet.Identity.Owin
PM> Install-Package Microsoft.AspNet.Identity.EntityFramework
PM> Install-Package Microsoft.Owin.Host.SystemWeb
Add a user class and with IdentityUser
inheritance:
public class AppUser : IdentityUser
{
//add your custom properties which have not included in IdentityUser before
public string MyExtraProperty { get; set; }
}
Do same thing for role:
public class AppRole : IdentityRole
{
public AppRole() : base() { }
public AppRole(string name) : base(name) { }
// extra properties here
}
Change your DbContext
parent from DbContext
to IdentityDbContext<AppUser>
like this:
public class MyDbContext : IdentityDbContext<AppUser>
{
// Other part of codes still same
// You don't need to add AppUser and AppRole
// since automatically added by inheriting form IdentityDbContext<AppUser>
}
If you use the same connection string and enabled migration, EF will create necessary tables for you.
Optionally, you could extend UserManager
to add your desired configuration and customization:
public class AppUserManager : UserManager<AppUser>
{
public AppUserManager(IUserStore<AppUser> store)
: base(store)
{
}
// this method is called by Owin therefore this is the best place to configure your User Manager
public static AppUserManager Create(
IdentityFactoryOptions<AppUserManager> options, IOwinContext context)
{
var manager = new AppUserManager(
new UserStore<AppUser>(context.Get<MyDbContext>()));
// optionally configure your manager
// ...
return manager;
}
}
Since Identity is based on OWIN you need to configure OWIN too:
Add a class to App_Start
folder (or anywhere else if you want). This class is used by OWIN. This will be your startup class.
namespace MyAppNamespace
{
public class IdentityConfig
{
public void Configuration(IAppBuilder app)
{
app.CreatePerOwinContext(() => new MyDbContext());
app.CreatePerOwinContext<AppUserManager>(AppUserManager.Create);
app.CreatePerOwinContext<RoleManager<AppRole>>((options, context) =>
new RoleManager<AppRole>(
new RoleStore<AppRole>(context.Get<MyDbContext>())));
app.UseCookieAuthentication(new CookieAuthenticationOptions
{
AuthenticationType = DefaultAuthenticationTypes.ApplicationCookie,
LoginPath = new PathString("/Home/Login"),
});
}
}
}
Almost done just add this line of code to your web.config
file so OWIN could find your startup class.
<appSettings>
<!-- other setting here -->
<add key="owin:AppStartup" value="MyAppNamespace.IdentityConfig" />
</appSettings>
Now in entire project you could use Identity just like any new project had already installed by VS. Consider login action for example
[HttpPost]
public ActionResult Login(LoginViewModel login)
{
if (ModelState.IsValid)
{
var userManager = HttpContext.GetOwinContext().GetUserManager<AppUserManager>();
var authManager = HttpContext.GetOwinContext().Authentication;
AppUser user = userManager.Find(login.UserName, login.Password);
if (user != null)
{
var ident = userManager.CreateIdentity(user,
DefaultAuthenticationTypes.ApplicationCookie);
//use the instance that has been created.
authManager.SignIn(
new AuthenticationProperties { IsPersistent = false }, ident);
return Redirect(login.ReturnUrl ?? Url.Action("Index", "Home"));
}
}
ModelState.AddModelError("", "Invalid username or password");
return View(login);
}
You could make roles and add to your users:
public ActionResult CreateRole(string roleName)
{
var roleManager=HttpContext.GetOwinContext().GetUserManager<RoleManager<AppRole>>();
if (!roleManager.RoleExists(roleName))
roleManager.Create(new AppRole(roleName));
// rest of code
}
You could also add a role to a user, like this:
UserManager.AddToRole(UserManager.FindByName("username").Id, "roleName");
By using Authorize
you could guard your actions or controllers:
[Authorize]
public ActionResult MySecretAction() {}
or
[Authorize(Roles = "Admin")]]
public ActionResult MySecretAction() {}
You can also install additional packages and configure them to meet your requirement like Microsoft.Owin.Security.Facebook
or whichever you want.
Note: Don't forget to add relevant namespaces to your files:
using Microsoft.AspNet.Identity;
using Microsoft.Owin.Security;
using Microsoft.AspNet.Identity.Owin;
using Microsoft.AspNet.Identity.EntityFramework;
using Microsoft.Owin;
using Microsoft.Owin.Security.Cookies;
using Owin;
You could also see my other answers like this and this for advanced use of Identity.
1 is most readable not compatible with all compilers.
No ISO C compiler has a built in type called bool
. ISO C99 compilers have a type _Bool
, and a header which typedef's bool
. So compatability is simply a case of providing your own header if the compiler is not C99 compliant (VC++ for example).
Of course a simpler approach is to compile your C code as C++.

I had the issue that I was passing a URL into a library which was calling url.openConnection();
I adapted jon-daniel's answer,
public class TrustHostUrlStreamHandler extends URLStreamHandler {
private static final Logger LOG = LoggerFactory.getLogger(TrustHostUrlStreamHandler.class);
@Override
protected URLConnection openConnection(final URL url) throws IOException {
final URLConnection urlConnection = new URL(url.getProtocol(), url.getHost(), url.getPort(), url.getFile()).openConnection();
// adapated from
// https://stackoverflow.com/questions/2893819/accept-servers-self-signed-ssl-certificate-in-java-client
if (urlConnection instanceof HttpsURLConnection) {
final HttpsURLConnection conHttps = (HttpsURLConnection) urlConnection;
try {
// Set up a Trust all manager
final TrustManager[] trustAllCerts = new TrustManager[] { new X509TrustManager() {
@Override
public java.security.cert.X509Certificate[] getAcceptedIssuers() {
return null;
}
@Override
public void checkClientTrusted(final java.security.cert.X509Certificate[] certs, final String authType) {
}
@Override
public void checkServerTrusted(final java.security.cert.X509Certificate[] certs, final String authType) {
}
} };
// Get a new SSL context
final SSLContext sc = SSLContext.getInstance("TLSv1.2");
sc.init(null, trustAllCerts, new java.security.SecureRandom());
// Set our connection to use this SSL context, with the "Trust all" manager in place.
conHttps.setSSLSocketFactory(sc.getSocketFactory());
// Also force it to trust all hosts
final HostnameVerifier allHostsValid = new HostnameVerifier() {
@Override
public boolean verify(final String hostname, final SSLSession session) {
return true;
}
};
// and set the hostname verifier.
conHttps.setHostnameVerifier(allHostsValid);
} catch (final NoSuchAlgorithmException e) {
LOG.warn("Failed to override URLConnection.", e);
} catch (final KeyManagementException e) {
LOG.warn("Failed to override URLConnection.", e);
}
} else {
LOG.warn("Failed to override URLConnection. Incorrect type: {}", urlConnection.getClass().getName());
}
return urlConnection;
}
}
Using this class it is possible to create a new URL with:
trustedUrl = new URL(new URL(originalUrl), "", new TrustHostUrlStreamHandler());
trustedUrl.openConnection();
This has the advantage that it is localized and not replacing the default URL.openConnection
.
(This answer applies to C++98 only.)
Please, don't use a raw char*
.
std::string str = "string";
std::vector<char> chars(str.c_str(), str.c_str() + str.size() + 1u);
// use &chars[0] as a char*
Precision of a number is the number of digits.
Scale of a number is the number of digits after the decimal point.
What is generally implied when setting precision and scale on field definition is that they represent maximum values.
Example, a decimal field defined with precision=5
and scale=2
would allow the following values:
123.45
(p=5,s=2)12.34
(p=4,s=2)12345
(p=5,s=0)123.4
(p=4,s=1)0
(p=0,s=0)The following values are not allowed or would cause a data loss:
12.345
(p=5,s=3) => could be truncated into 12.35
(p=4,s=2)1234.56
(p=6,s=2) => could be truncated into 1234.6
(p=5,s=1)123.456
(p=6,s=3) => could be truncated into 123.46
(p=5,s=2)123450
(p=6,s=0) => out of rangeNote that the range is generally defined by the precision: |value| < 10^p

The good way to draw a Drawable on a canvas is not decoding it yourself but leaving it to the system to do so:
Drawable d = getResources().getDrawable(R.drawable.foobar, null);
d.setBounds(left, top, right, bottom);
d.draw(canvas);
This will work with all kinds of drawables, not only bitmaps. And it also means that you can re-use that same drawable again if only the size changes.
To do POST you'll need to have a form.
<form action="employee.action" method="post">
<input type="submit" value="Employee1" />
</form>
There are some ways to post data with hyperlinks, but you'll need some javascript, and a form.
Some tricks: Make a link use POST instead of GET and How do you post data with a link
Edit: to load response on a frame you can target your form to your frame:
<form action="employee.action" method="post" target="myFrame">

As Salman A mentioned in the comments, we need to set the img's position coordinates (top, left, bottom, right) to work with percents higher than the image's actual dimensions. I use 1000% in the above example, but of course you can adjust it according to your needs.
* Further explanation: When we set the img's left and right (or: top and bottom) coordinates to be -100% (of the containing div), the overall allowed width (or: height) of the img, can be at most 300% of the containing div's width (or: height), because it's the sum of the div's width (or: height) and the left and right (or: top and bottom) coordinates.
It's top google stackoverflow question, but all answers are not jQuery related!
$(".someclass").click(
function(event)
{
console.log(event, this);
}
);
'event' contains 2 important values:
event.currentTarget - element to which event is triggered ('.someclass' element)
event.target - element clicked (in case when inside '.someclass' [div] are other elements and you clicked on of them)
this - is set to triggered element ('.someclass'), but it's JavaScript element, not jQuery element, so if you want to use some jQuery function on it, you must first change it to jQuery element: $(this)
When your refresh the page and reload the scripts again; this method not work. You have to use jquery "unbind" method.
The common approach is to use the default value as a label, and then remove it when the field gains the focus.
I really dislike this approach as it has accessibility and usability implications.
Instead, I would start by using a standard element next to the field.
Then, if JavaScript is active, set a class on an ancestor element which causes some new styles to apply that:
Then, and also whenever the input loses the focus, I test to see if the input has a value. If it does, ensure that an ancestor element has a class (e.g. "hide-label"), otherwise ensure that it does not have that class.
Whenever the input gains the focus, set that class.
The stylesheet would use that classname in a selector to hide the label (using text-indent: -9999px; usually).
This approach provides a decent experience for all users, including those with JS disabled and those using screen readers.
I used classes with constants:
class Enum {
const NAME = 'aaaa';
const SOME_VALUE = 'bbbb';
}
print Enum::NAME;
Here is a more MSBuild way of doing this.
<Target Name="CopyRoslynFiles" AfterTargets="AfterBuild" Condition="!$(Disable_CopyWebApplication) And '$(OutDir)' != '$(OutputPath)'">
<ItemGroup>
<RoslynFiles Include="$(CscToolPath)\*" />
</ItemGroup>
<MakeDir Directories="$(WebProjectOutputDir)\bin\roslyn" />
<Copy SourceFiles="@(RoslynFiles)" DestinationFolder="$(WebProjectOutputDir)\bin\roslyn" SkipUnchangedFiles="true" Retries="$(CopyRetryCount)" RetryDelayMilliseconds="$(CopyRetryDelayMilliseconds)" />
</Target>
But I notice that the roslyn files are also in my bin directory (not in a folder). The app seems to work, though.
Limiting the length of the input is definitely easier. You could accept an arbitrarily-long input by using a loop, reading in a bit at a time, re-allocating space for the string as necessary...
But that's a lot of work, so most C programmers just chop off the input at some arbitrary length. I suppose you know this already, but using fgets() isn't going to allow you to accept arbitrary amounts of text - you're still going to need to set a limit.
function CheckNumeric(event) {
var _key = (window.Event) ? event.which : event.keyCode;
if ((_key > 95 && _key < 106) || (_key > 47 && _key < 58) || _key == 8 || _key == 9 || _key == 37 || _key == 39 || _key == 190 || _key == 110) {
return true;
}
else {
return false;
}
}
<input type="text" onkeydown="return CheckNumerick(event);" />
Accept Keys: Numbers + NumPedNumbers + Tab + "," + "." + LeftButton + RightButton + Delete + BackSpace
If you are using DbContext
and EF v6+, alternatively you can use:
this.context.Database.CommandTimeout = 180;
You can use flexbox to lay out your items:
#parent {_x000D_
display: flex;_x000D_
}_x000D_
#narrow {_x000D_
width: 200px;_x000D_
background: lightblue;_x000D_
/* Just so it's visible */_x000D_
}_x000D_
#wide {_x000D_
flex: 1;_x000D_
/* Grow to rest of container */_x000D_
background: lightgreen;_x000D_
/* Just so it's visible */_x000D_
}
_x000D_
<div id="parent">_x000D_
<div id="wide">Wide (rest of width)</div>_x000D_
<div id="narrow">Narrow (200px)</div>_x000D_
</div>
_x000D_
This is basically just scraping the surface of flexbox. Flexbox can do pretty amazing things.
For older browser support, you can use CSS float and a width properties to solve it.
#narrow {_x000D_
float: right;_x000D_
width: 200px;_x000D_
background: lightblue;_x000D_
}_x000D_
#wide {_x000D_
float: left;_x000D_
width: calc(100% - 200px);_x000D_
background: lightgreen;_x000D_
}
_x000D_
<div id="parent">_x000D_
<div id="wide">Wide (rest of width)</div>_x000D_
<div id="narrow">Narrow (200px)</div>_x000D_

The method GetFileNameWithoutExtension
, as the name implies, does not return the extension on the file. In your case, it would only return "a". You want to append your ".Jpeg" to that result. However, at a different level, this seems strange, as image files have different metadata and cannot be converted so easily.
There are two pages: Pageone.html :
<script>
var hello = "hi"
location.replace("http://example.com/PageTwo.html?" + hi + "");
</script>
PageTwo.html :
<script>
var link = window.location.href;
link = link.replace("http://example.com/PageTwo.html?","");
document.write("The variable contained this content:" + link + "");
</script>
Hope it helps!
This was removed from GitHub. I use:
$git log --all --oneline | grep "search query"
You can also filter by author:
$git log --all --oneline --author=rickhanlonii | grep "search query"
IMHO, there is difference between checking if a module is:
1) installed, or 2) imported:
To check if installed:
Option 1: Using Get-Module
with -ListAvailable
parameter:
If(Get-Module -ListAvailable -Name "<ModuleName>"){'Module is installed'}
Else{'Module is NOT installed'}
Option 2: Using $error
object:
$error.clear()
Import-Module "<ModuleName>" -ErrorAction SilentlyContinue
If($error){Write-Host 'Module is NOT installed'}
Else{Write-Host 'Module is installed'}
To check if imported:
Using Get-Module
with -Name
parameter (which you can omit as it is default anyway):
if ((Get-Module -Name "<ModuleName>")) {
Write-Host "Module is already imported (i.e. its cmdlets are available to be used.)"
}
else {
Write-Warning "Module is NOT imported (must be installed before importing)."
}
Use this code:
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<style>
.text-center{
text-align:center;
margin-left:auto;
margin-right:auto;
}
</style>
</head>
<body>
<div class="text-center">
<canvas id="myCanvas" width="200" height="100" style="border:1px solid #000000;">
Your browser does not support the HTML5 canvas tag.
</canvas>
</div>
</body>

Download version tar.gz for windows and just extract files to the folder by your needs. On the left pane, you can select which version of openjdk to download
Tutorial: unzip as expected. You need to set system variable PATH to include your directory with openjdk so you can type java -version in console.
If you have more than one button, then you can do the following.
<div class="center-block" style="max-width:400px">
<a href="#" class="btn btn-success">Accept</a>
<a href="#" class="btn btn-danger"> Reject</a>

After hours of finding ways on how to get the data from the row selected on a WPF DataGrid Control, as I was using MongoDB. I found this post and used Tony's answer. I revised the code to be relevant to my project. Maybe someone can use this to get an idea.
private void selectionChanged(object sender, SelectionChangedEventArgs e)
{
facultyData row = (facultyData)facultyDataGrid.SelectedItem;
facultyID_Textbox.Text = row.facultyID;
lastName_TextBox.Text = row.lastName;
firstName_TextBox.Text = row.firstName;
middleName_TextBox.Text = row.middleName;
age_TextBox.Text = row.age.ToString();
}
}
class facultyData
{
public ObjectId _id { get; set; }
public string facultyID { get; set; }
public string acadYear { get; set; }
public string program { get; set; }
}
If you render the Recaptcha on a callback
<script src="https://www.google.com/recaptcha/api.js?onload=onloadCallback&render=explicit" async defer></script>
using an empty DIV as a placeholder
<div id='html_element'></div>
then you can specify an optional function call on a successful CAPTCHA response
var onloadCallback = function() {
grecaptcha.render('html_element', {
'sitekey' : 'your_site_key',
'callback' : correctCaptcha
});
};
The recaptcha response will then be sent to the 'correctCaptcha' function.
var correctCaptcha = function(response) {
alert(response);
};
All of this was from the Google API notes :
I'm a bit unsure why you would want to do this. Normally you would send the g-recaptcha-response field along with your Private key to safely validate server-side. Unless you wanted to disable the submit button until the recaptcha was sucessful or such - in which case the above should work.
Hope this helps.

@glglgl already explained why what you were trying to do was not working. Actually, if you are really aiming at defining a variable in a header, you can trick using some preprocessor directives:
file1.c:
#include <stdio.h>
#define DEFINE_I
#include "global.h"
int main()
{
printf("%d\n",i);
foo();
return 0;
}
file2.c:
#include <stdio.h>
#include "global.h"
void foo()
{
i = 54;
printf("%d\n",i);
}
global.h:
#ifdef DEFINE_I
int i = 42;
#else
extern int i;
#endif
void foo();
In this situation, i
is only defined in the compilation unit where you defined DEFINE_I and is declared everywhere else. The linker does not complain.
I have seen this a couple of times before where an enum was declared in a header, and just below was a definition of a char** containing the corresponding labels. I do understand why the author preferred to have that definition in the header instead of putting it into a specific source file, but I am not sure whether the implementation is so elegant.
MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, SQLite support using the percent sign as the modulus:
WHERE column % 2 = 1
For Oracle, you have to use the MOD function:
WHERE MOD(column, 2) = 1
Though the string parsing solution is the most popular, I don't like it, because parsing string can be a great performance hit in some situations.
When there is needed a kind of a bitfield or binary mask, I'd rather write it like
long bitMask = 1011001;
And later
int bit5 = BitField.GetBit(bitMask, 5);
Or
bool flag5 = BitField.GetFlag(bitMask, 5);`
Where BitField class is
public static class BitField
{
public static int GetBit(int bitField, int index)
{
return (bitField / (int)Math.Pow(10, index)) % 10;
}
public static bool GetFlag(int bitField, int index)
{
return GetBit(bitField, index) == 1;
}
}
How do I add a junit 4 dependency correctly?
Assuming you're resolving against a standard Maven (or equivalent) repo:
dependencies {
...
testCompile "junit:junit:4.11" // Or whatever version
}
Run those tests in the folders of tests/model?
You define your test source set the same way:
sourceSets {
...
test {
java {
srcDirs = ["test/model"] // Note @Peter's comment below
}
}
}
Then invoke the tests as:
./gradlew test
EDIT: If you are using JUnit 5 instead, there are more steps to complete, you should follow this tutorial.
This is something I wind up looking for repeatedly, even though I wrote myself a nice little function a while ago. So, I figured others might benefit from having it and maybe I'll even find it here, myself. hahaha
It's pretty simple to paste into your script and use. Just pass it a folder object.
I think it requires PowerShell 3 just because of the -directory flag on the Get-ChildItem command, but I'm sure it can be easily adapted, if need be.
function Get-TreeSize ($folder = $null)
{
#Function to get recursive folder size
$result = @()
$folderResult = "" | Select-Object FolderPath, FolderName, SizeKB, SizeMB, SizeGB, OverThreshold
$contents = Get-ChildItem $folder.FullName -recurse -force -erroraction SilentlyContinue -Include * | Where-Object {$_.psiscontainer -eq $false} | Measure-Object -Property length -sum | Select-Object sum
$sizeKB = [math]::Round($contents.sum / 1000,3) #.ToString("#.##")
$sizeMB = [math]::Round($contents.sum / 1000000,3) #.ToString("#.##")
$sizeGB = [math]::Round($contents.sum / 1000000000,3) #.ToString("#.###")
$folderResult.FolderPath = $folder.FullName
$folderResult.FolderName = $folder.BaseName
$folderResult.SizeKB = $sizeKB
$folderresult.SizeMB = $sizeMB
$folderresult.SizeGB = $sizeGB
$result += $folderResult
return $result
}
#Use the function like this for a single directory
$topDir = get-item "C:\test"
Get-TreeSize ($topDir)
#Use the function like this for all top level folders within a direcotry
#$topDir = gci -directory "\\server\share\folder"
$topDir = Get-ChildItem -directory "C:\test"
foreach ($folderPath in $topDir) {Get-TreeSize $folderPath}
I use laravel 7.x and I used this as a workaround:->get()->pluck('id')->toArray();
it gives back an array of ids [50,2,3]
and this is the whole query I used:
$article_tags = DB::table('tags')
->join('taggables', function ($join) use ($id) {
$join->on('tags.id', '=', 'taggables.tag_id');
$join->where([
['taggable_id', '=', $id],
['taggable_type','=','article']
]);
})->select('tags.id')->get()->pluck('id')->toArray();
Use mkdir's -p
option, but note that it has another effect as well.
-p Create intermediate directories as required. If this option is not specified, the full path prefix of each oper-
and must already exist. On the other hand, with this option specified, no error will be reported if a directory
given as an operand already exists. Intermediate directories are created with permission bits of rwxrwxrwx
(0777) as modified by the current umask, plus write and search permission for the owner.
You can use json.loads
:
import json
import requests
response = requests.get(...)
json_data = json.loads(response.text)
This converts a given string into a dictionary which allows you to access your JSON data easily within your code.
Or you can use @Martijn's helpful suggestion, and the higher voted answer, response.json()
.
Use this in Activity:
private Context context = this;
........
if(Utils.isInternetAvailable(context){
Utils.showToast(context, "toast");
}
..........
in Utils:
public class Utils {
public static boolean isInternetAvailable(Context context) {
ConnectivityManager cm = (ConnectivityManager) context.getSystemService(Context.CONNECTIVITY_SERVICE);
return cm.getActiveNetworkInfo() != null && cm.getActiveNetworkInfo().isConnected();
}
}
While I cannot reproduce your error (as none of your team mates can either), I have a suggestion, that might help you.
Have you heard of the Byte Order Mark? As it appears on line 1 it is a likely candidate for your troubles. Maybe you changed a setting somewhere that somehow leads to the error. This quote from the Wikipedia article is particularly relevant I think:
BOM use is optional. Its presence interferes with the use of UTF-8 by software that does not expect non-ASCII bytes at the start of a file but that could otherwise handle the text stream.
If you want to be real smart, at the command line type:
echo svcutil.exe /language:cs /out:generatedProxy.cs /config:app.config http://localhost:8000/ServiceModelSamples/service >CreateService.cmd
Then you have CreateService.cmd
that you can run whenever you want (.cmd
is just another extension for .bat
files)

After struggling with all available options, I ended up writing a JWT token based SessionStore provider (the session travels inside a cookie, and no backend storage is needed).

Advantages:
It may be bacause you do not have jre installed. Thus go to http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jre8-downloads-2133155.html and download it.
There are chances that you might end up with Scientific Number when you convert Integer to Str... safer way is
SET @ActualWeightDIMS = STR(@Actual_Dims_Width); OR
Select STR(@Actual_Dims_Width) + str(@Actual_Dims_Width)
I might have even a simpler explanation to this question compared to the accepted answer so I'm going to give it a go: Assume this is the structure of the files and directories of a project:
Project root directory:
file1.php
file3.php
dir1/
file2.php
(dir1
is a directory and file2.php
is inside it)
And this is the content of each of the three files above:
//file1.php:
<?php include "dir1/file2.php"
//file2.php:
<?php include "../file3.php"
//file3.php:
<?php echo "Hello, Test!";
Now run file1.php
and try to guess what should happen. You might expect to see "Hello, Test!", however, it won't be shown! What you'll get instead will be an error indicating that the file you have requested(file3.php
) does not exist!
The reason is that, inside file1.php
when you include file2.php
, the content of it is getting copied and then pasted back directly into file1.php
which is inside the root directory, thus this part "../file3.php"
runs from the root directory and thus goes one directory up the root! (and obviously it won't find the file3.php
).
Now, what should we do ?!
Relative paths of course have the problem above, so we have to use absolute paths. However, absolute paths have also one problem. If you (for example) copy the root folder (containing your whole project) and paste it in anywhere else on your computer, the paths will be invalid from that point on! And that'll be a REAL MESS!
So we kind of need paths that are both absolute and dynamic(Each file dynamically finds the absolute path of itself wherever we place it)!
The way we do that is by getting help from PHP, and dirname()
is the function to go for, which gives the absolute path to the directory in which a file exists in. And each file name could also be easily accessed using the __FILE__
constant. So dirname(__FILE__)
would easily give you the absolute (while dynamic!) path to the file we're typing in the above code. Now move your whole project to a new place, or even a new system, and tada! it works!
So now if we turn the project above to this:
//file1.php:
<?php include(dirname(__FILE__)."/dir1/file2.php");
//file2.php:
<?php include(dirname(__FILE__)."/../file3.php");
//file3.php:
<?php echo "Hello, Test!";
if you run it, you'll see the almighty Hello, Test!
! (hopefully, if you've not done anything else wrong).
It's also worth mentioning that from PHP5, a nicer way(with regards to readability and preventing eye boilage!) has been provided by PHP as well which is the constant __DIR__
which does exactly the same thing as dirname(__FILE__)
!
Hope that helps.
Probably, more intuitive way would be like this
if type(e) is list:
print('Found a list element inside the list')
<a style="cursor:pointer"
onclick=" window.open('http://YOUR.URL.TARGET','',' scrollbars=yes,menubar=no,width=500, resizable=yes,toolbar=no,location=no,status=no')">Your text</a>
All current browsers have native JSON support built in. So as long as you're not dealing with prehistoric browsers like IE6/7 you can do it just as easily as that:
var j = {_x000D_
"name": "binchen"_x000D_
};_x000D_
console.log(JSON.stringify(j));
_x000D_
i thought it couldn't be done but then i thought about it, you can manually resize a div via style="resize: both;" in order to do that you ave to click on it so added an onclick function to check element's height and width and it worked. With only 5 lines of pure javascript (sure it could be even shorter) http://codepen.io/anon/pen/eNyyVN
<div id="box" style="
height:200px;
width:640px;
background-color:#FF0066;
resize: both;
overflow: auto;"
onclick="myFunction()">
<p id="sizeTXT" style="
font-size: 50px;">
WxH
</p>
</div>
<p>This my example demonstrates how to run a resize check on click for resizable div.</p>
<p>Try to resize the box.</p>
<script>
function myFunction() {
var boxheight = document.getElementById('box').offsetHeight;
var boxhwidth = document.getElementById('box').offsetWidth;
var txt = boxhwidth +"x"+boxheight;
document.getElementById("sizeTXT").innerHTML = txt;
}
</script>
Hey I got the solution. I did not set the category as "Default". Also I was using the Main activity for the intent Data. Now i am using a different activity for the intent data. Thanks for the help. :)
Are you committed to using the Inner join syntax?
If not you could use this alternative syntax:
SELECT *
FROM Y,X
WHERE (X.QID=Y.QID) or (X.QUID is null and Y.QUID is null)
First of all, the provided long code:
<xsl:choose>
<xsl:when test="OU_NAME='OU_ADDR1'"> --comparing two elements coming from XML
<!--remove if adrees already contain operating unit name <xsl:value-of select="OU_NAME"/> <fo:block/>-->
<xsl:if test="OU_ADDR1 !='' ">
<xsl:value-of select="OU_ADDR1"/>
<fo:block/>
</xsl:if>
<xsl:if test="LE_ADDR2 !='' ">
<xsl:value-of select="OU_ADDR2"/>
<fo:block/>
</xsl:if>
<xsl:if test="LE_ADDR3 !='' ">
<xsl:value-of select="OU_ADDR3"/>
<fo:block/>
</xsl:if>
<xsl:if test="OU_TOWN_CITY !=''">
<xsl:value-of select="OU_TOWN_CITY"/>,
<fo:leader leader-pattern="space" leader-length="2.0pt"/>
</xsl:if>
<xsl:value-of select="OU_REGION2"/>
<fo:leader leader-pattern="space" leader-length="3.0pt"/>
<xsl:value-of select="OU_POSTALCODE"/>
<fo:block/>
<xsl:value-of select="OU_COUNTRY"/>
</xsl:when>
<xsl:otherwise>
<xsl:value-of select="OU_NAME"/>
<fo:block/>
<xsl:if test="OU_ADDR1 !='' ">
<xsl:value-of select="OU_ADDR1"/>
<fo:block/>
</xsl:if>
<xsl:if test="LE_ADDR2 !='' ">
<xsl:value-of select="OU_ADDR2"/>
<fo:block/>
</xsl:if>
<xsl:if test="LE_ADDR3 !='' ">
<xsl:value-of select="OU_ADDR3"/>
<fo:block/>
</xsl:if>
<xsl:if test="OU_TOWN_CITY !=''">
<xsl:value-of select="OU_TOWN_CITY"/>,
<fo:leader leader-pattern="space" leader-length="2.0pt"/>
</xsl:if>
<xsl:value-of select="OU_REGION2"/>
<fo:leader leader-pattern="space" leader-length="3.0pt"/>
<xsl:value-of select="OU_POSTALCODE"/>
<fo:block/>
<xsl:value-of select="OU_COUNTRY"/>
</xsl:otherwise>
</xsl:choose>
is equivalent to this, much shorter code:
<xsl:if test="not(OU_NAME='OU_ADDR1)'">
<xsl:value-of select="OU_NAME"/>
</xsl:if>
<xsl:if test="OU_ADDR1 !='' ">
<xsl:value-of select="OU_ADDR1"/>
<fo:block/>
</xsl:if>
<xsl:if test="LE_ADDR2 !='' ">
<xsl:value-of select="OU_ADDR2"/>
<fo:block/>
</xsl:if>
<xsl:if test="LE_ADDR3 !='' ">
<xsl:value-of select="OU_ADDR3"/>
<fo:block/>
</xsl:if>
<xsl:if test="OU_TOWN_CITY !=''">
<xsl:value-of select="OU_TOWN_CITY"/>,
<fo:leader leader-pattern="space" leader-length="2.0pt"/>
</xsl:if>
<xsl:value-of select="OU_REGION2"/>
<fo:leader leader-pattern="space" leader-length="3.0pt"/>
<xsl:value-of select="OU_POSTALCODE"/>
<fo:block/>
<xsl:value-of select="OU_COUNTRY"/>
Now, to your question:
how to compare two elements coming from xml as string
In Xpath 1.0 strings can be compared only for equality (or inequality), using the operator =
and the function not()
together with the operator =
.
$str1 = $str2
evaluates to true()
exactly when the string $str1
is equal to the string $str2
.
not($str1 = $str2)
evaluates to true()
exactly when the string $str1
is not equal to the string $str2
.
There is also the !=
operator. It generally should be avoided because it has anomalous behavior whenever one of its operands is a node-set.
Now, the rules for comparing two element nodes are similar:
$el1 = $el2
evaluates to true()
exactly when the string value of $el1
is equal to the string value of $el2
.
not($el1 = $el2)
evaluates to true()
exactly when the string value of $el1
is not equal to the string value of $el2
.
However, if one of the operands of =
is a node-set, then
$ns = $str
evaluates to true()
exactly when there is at least one node in the node-set $ns1
, whose string value is equal to the string $str
$ns1 = $ns2
evaluates to true()
exactly when there is at least one node in the node-set $ns1
, whose string value is equal to the string value of some node from $ns2
Therefore, the expression:
OU_NAME='OU_ADDR1'
evaluates to true()
only when there is at least one element child of the current node that is named OU_NAME
and whose string value is the string 'OU_ADDR1'.
This is obviously not what you want!
Most probably you want:
OU_NAME=OU_ADDR1
This expression evaluates to true
exactly there is at least one OU_NAME
child of the current node and one OU_ADDR1
child of the current node with the same string value.
Finally, in XPath 2.0, strings can be compared also using the value comparison operators lt
, le
, eq
, gt
, ge
and the inherited from XPath 1.0 general comparison operator =
.
Trying to evaluate a value comparison operator when one or both of its arguments is a sequence of more than one item results in error.
Fast, and works for large strings:
private String hexToBin(String hex){
hex = hex.replaceAll("0", "0000");
hex = hex.replaceAll("1", "0001");
hex = hex.replaceAll("2", "0010");
hex = hex.replaceAll("3", "0011");
hex = hex.replaceAll("4", "0100");
hex = hex.replaceAll("5", "0101");
hex = hex.replaceAll("6", "0110");
hex = hex.replaceAll("7", "0111");
hex = hex.replaceAll("8", "1000");
hex = hex.replaceAll("9", "1001");
hex = hex.replaceAll("A", "1010");
hex = hex.replaceAll("B", "1011");
hex = hex.replaceAll("C", "1100");
hex = hex.replaceAll("D", "1101");
hex = hex.replaceAll("E", "1110");
hex = hex.replaceAll("F", "1111");
return hex;
}
Here's a function to convert js array or object into a php-compatible array to be sent as http get request parameter:
function obj2url(prefix, obj) {
var args=new Array();
if(typeof(obj) == 'object'){
for(var i in obj)
args[args.length]=any2url(prefix+'['+encodeURIComponent(i)+']', obj[i]);
}
else
args[args.length]=prefix+'='+encodeURIComponent(obj);
return args.join('&');
}
prefix is a parameter name.
EDIT:
var a = {
one: two,
three: four
};
alert('/script.php?'+obj2url('a', a));
Will produce
/script.php?a[one]=two&a[three]=four
which will allow you to use $_GET['a'] as an array in script.php. You will need to figure your way into your favorite ajax engine on supplying the url to call script.php from js.
I had the same question and it turned out the solution was fairly simple, by using JSON marshaller.
Having your controller just change the signature by changing @ModelAttribute("newObject")
to @RequestBody
. Like this:
@Controller
@RequestMapping(value = "/somewhere/new")
public class SomewhereController {
@RequestMapping(method = RequestMethod.POST)
public String post(@RequestBody NewObject newObject) {
// ...
}
}
Then in your tests you can simply say:
NewObject newObjectInstance = new NewObject();
// setting fields for the NewObject
mockMvc.perform(MockMvcRequestBuilders.post(uri)
.content(asJsonString(newObjectInstance))
.contentType(MediaType.APPLICATION_JSON)
.accept(MediaType.APPLICATION_JSON));
Where the asJsonString
method is just:
public static String asJsonString(final Object obj) {
try {
final ObjectMapper mapper = new ObjectMapper();
final String jsonContent = mapper.writeValueAsString(obj);
return jsonContent;
} catch (Exception e) {
throw new RuntimeException(e);
}
}
See http://wiki.apache.org/httpd/DistrosDefaultLayout for discussion of where you might find Apache httpd configuration files on various platforms, since this can vary from release to release and platform to platform. The most common answer, however, is either /etc/apache/conf or /etc/httpd/conf
Generically, you can determine the answer by running the command:
httpd -V
(That's a capital V). Or, on systems where httpd is renamed, perhaps apache2ctl -V
This will return various details about how httpd is built and configured, including the default location of the main configuration file.
One of the lines of output should look like:
-D SERVER_CONFIG_FILE="conf/httpd.conf"
which, combined with the line:
-D HTTPD_ROOT="/etc/httpd"
will give you a full path to the default location of the configuration file
Well, why not just add them to your existing character class?
var pattern = /[a-zA-Z0-9&._-]/
If you need to check whether a string consists of nothing but those characters you have to anchor the expression as well:
var pattern = /^[a-zA-Z0-9&._-]+$/
The added ^
and $
match the beginning and end of the string respectively.
Testing for letters, numbers or underscore can be done with \w
which shortens your expression:
var pattern = /^[\w&.-]+$/
As mentioned in the comment from Nathan, if you're not using the results from .match()
(it returns an array with what has been matched), it's better to use RegExp.test()
which returns a simple boolean:
if (pattern.test(qry)) {
// qry is non-empty and only contains letters, numbers or special characters.
}
Update 2
In case I have misread the question, the below will check if all three separate conditions are met.
if (/[a-zA-Z]/.test(qry) && /[0-9]/.test(qry) && /[&._-]/.test(qry)) {
// qry contains at least one letter, one number and one special character
}

There is no "canonical" way to do the matrix in C++, STL does not provide classes like "matrix". However there are some 3rd party libraries that do. You are encouraged to use them or write your own implementation. You can try my implementation derived from some public implementation found on the internet.
For those having problems with AOT, you need to do it a little differently with a useFactory:
export function getCulture() {
return 'fr-CA';
}
@NgModule({
providers: [
{ provide: LOCALE_ID, useFactory: getCulture },
//otherProviders...
]
})
invalidate()
, invalidateViews()
, requestLayout()
, ... answers to this question.The right thing to do (and luckily also marked as right answer) is to call notifyDataSetChanged()
on your Adapter.
If calling notifyDataSetChanged()
doesn't work all the layout methods won't help either. Believe me the ListView
was properly updated. If you fail to find the difference you need to check where the data in your adapter comes from.
If this is just a collection you're keeping in memory check that you actually deleted from or added the item(s) to the collection before calling the notifyDataSetChanged()
.
If you're working with a database or service backend you'll have to call the method to retrieve the information again (or manipulate the in memory data) before calling the notifyDataSetChanged()
.
The thing is this notifyDataSetChanged
only works if the dataset has changed. So that is the place to look if you don't find changes coming through. Debug if needed.
I did find that working with an adapter that lets you manage the collection, like a BaseAdapter works better. Some adapters like the ArrayAdapter already manage their own collection making it harder to get to the proper collection for updates. It's really just an needless extra layer of difficulty in most cases.
It is true that this has to be called from the UI thread. Other answers have examples on how to achieve this. However this is only required if you're working on this information from outside the UI thread. That is from a service or a non UI thread. In simple cases you'll be updating your data from a button click or another activity/fragment. So still within the UI thread. No need to always pop that runOnUiTrhead in.
Can be found at https://github.com/hanscappelle/so-2250770.git. Just clone and open the project in Android Studio (gradle). This project has a MainAcitivity building a ListView
with all random data. This list can be refreshed using the action menu.
The adapter implementation I created for this example ModelObject exposes the data collection
public class MyListAdapter extends BaseAdapter {
/**
* this is our own collection of data, can be anything we
* want it to be as long as we get the abstract methods
* implemented using this data and work on this data
* (see getter) you should be fine
*/
private List<ModelObject> mData;
/**
* our ctor for this adapter, we'll accept all the things
* we need here
*
* @param mData
*/
public MyListAdapter(final Context context, final List<ModelObject> mData) {
this.mData = mData;
this.mContext = context;
}
public List<ModelObject> getData() {
return mData;
}
// implement all abstract methods here
}
Code from the MainActivity
public class MainActivity extends Activity {
private MyListAdapter mAdapter;
@Override
protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
setContentView(R.layout.activity_main);
ListView list = (ListView) findViewById(R.id.list);
// create some dummy data here
List<ModelObject> objects = getRandomData();
// and put it into an adapter for the list
mAdapter = new MyListAdapter(this, objects);
list.setAdapter(mAdapter);
// mAdapter is available in the helper methods below and the
// data will be updated based on action menu interactions
// you could also keep the reference to the android ListView
// object instead and use the {@link ListView#getAdapter()}
// method instead. However you would have to cast that adapter
// to your own instance every time
}
/**
* helper to show what happens when all data is new
*/
private void reloadAllData(){
// get new modified random data
List<ModelObject> objects = getRandomData();
// update data in our adapter
mAdapter.getData().clear();
mAdapter.getData().addAll(objects);
// fire the event
mAdapter.notifyDataSetChanged();
}
/**
* helper to show how only changing properties of data
* elements also works
*/
private void scrambleChecked(){
Random random = new Random();
// update data in our adapter, iterate all objects and
// resetting the checked option
for( ModelObject mo : mAdapter.getData()) {
mo.setChecked(random.nextBoolean());
}
// fire the event
mAdapter.notifyDataSetChanged();
}
}
Another nice post about the power of listViews is found here: http://www.vogella.com/articles/AndroidListView/article.html
To use GPU from docker container, instead of using native Docker, use Nvidia-docker. To install Nvidia docker use following commands
curl -s -L https://nvidia.github.io/nvidia-docker/gpgkey | sudo apt-key add -
curl -s -L https://nvidia.github.io/nvidia-docker/ubuntu16.04/amd64/nvidia-
docker.list | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/nvidia-docker.list
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install -y nvidia-docker
sudo pkill -SIGHUP dockerd # Restart Docker Engine
sudo nvidia-docker run --rm nvidia/cuda nvidia-smi # finally run nvidia-smi in the same container
It is not possible to programmatically open the permission screen. Instead, we can open the app settings screen.
Code
Intent i = new Intent(android.provider.Settings.ACTION_APPLICATION_DETAILS_SETTINGS, Uri.parse("package:" + BuildConfig.APPLICATION_ID));
startActivity(i);
Sample Output
In javascript there are trues and truthys. When something is true it is obviously true or false. When something is truthy it may or may not be a boolean, but the "cast" value of is a boolean.
Examples.
true == true; // (true) true
1 == true; // (true) truthy
"hello" == true; // (true) truthy
[1, 2, 3] == true; // (true) truthy
[] == false; // (true) truthy
false == false; // (true) true
0 == false; // (true) truthy
"" == false; // (true) truthy
undefined == false; // (true) truthy
null == false; // (true) truthy
This can make things simpler if you want to check if a string is set or an array has any values.
var users = [];
if(users) {
// this array is populated. do something with the array
}
var name = "";
if(!name) {
// you forgot to enter your name!
}
And as stated. expect(something).toBe(true)
and expect(something).toBeTrue()
is the same. But expect(something).toBeTruthy()
is not the same as either of those.
There is no need to have two functions within one element, you need just one that calls the other two!
<a href="#" onclick="my_func()" >click</a>
function my_func() {
my_func_1();
my_func_2();
}
You can use request library. https://www.npmjs.com/package/request
var request = require('request');
To post JSON data:
var myJSONObject = { ... };
request({
url: "http://josiahchoi.com/myjson",
method: "POST",
json: true, // <--Very important!!!
body: myJSONObject
}, function (error, response, body){
console.log(response);
});
To post xml data:
var myXMLText = '<xml>...........</xml>'
request({
url: "http://josiahchoi.com/myjson",
method: "POST",
headers: {
"content-type": "application/xml", // <--Very important!!!
},
body: myXMLText
}, function (error, response, body){
console.log(response);
});
Further to the accepted answer, I ran into issues with code elsewhere on my site requiring jQuery along with the Migrate Plugin.
When the required mapping is added to Global.asax, when loading a page requiring unobtrusive validation (for example a page with the ChangePassword ASP control), the mapped script resource conflicts with the already-loaded jQuery and migrate scripts.
Adding the migrate plugin as a second mapping solves the issue:
// required for UnobtrusiveValidationMode introduced since ASP.NET 4.5
var jQueryScriptDefinition = new ScriptResourceDefinition
{
Path = "~/Plugins/Common/jquery-3.3.1.min.js", DebugPath = "~/Plugins/Common/jquery-3.3.1.js", LoadSuccessExpression = "typeof(window.jQuery) !== 'undefined'"
};
var jQueryMigrateScriptDefinition = new ScriptResourceDefinition
{
Path = "~/Plugins/Common/jquery-migrate-3.0.1.min.js", DebugPath = "~/Plugins/Common/jquery-migrate-3.0.1.js", LoadSuccessExpression = "typeof(window.jQuery) !== 'undefined'"
};
ScriptManager.ScriptResourceMapping.AddDefinition("jquery", jQueryScriptDefinition);
ScriptManager.ScriptResourceMapping.AddDefinition("jquery", jQueryMigrateScriptDefinition);
Here's another way -
cat > outfile.txt
>Enter text
>to save press ctrl-d
add this code at page load do for all control or add all control in containers
int x;
Point pt = new Point();
x = Screen.PrimaryScreen.WorkingArea.Width - 1024;
x = x / 2;
pt.Y = groupBox1.Location.Y + 50;
pt.X = groupBox1.Location.X + x;
groupBox1.Location = pt;
git reset --hard 4a155e5
Will move the HEAD back to where you want to be. There may be other references ahead of that time that you would need to remove if you don't want anything to point to the history you just deleted.
Use:
$('#example').dataTable({
aLengthMenu: [
[25, 50, 100, 200, -1],
[25, 50, 100, 200, "All"]
],
iDisplayLength: -1
});
Or if using 1.10+
$('#example').dataTable({
paging: false
});
The option you should use is iDisplayLength:
$('#adminProducts').dataTable({
'iDisplayLength': 100
});
$('#table').DataTable({
"lengthMenu": [ [5, 10, 25, 50, -1], [5, 10, 25, 50, "All"] ]
});
It will Load by default all entries.
$('#example').dataTable({
aLengthMenu: [
[25, 50, 100, 200, -1],
[25, 50, 100, 200, "All"]
],
iDisplayLength: -1
});
Or if using 1.10+
$('#example').dataTable({
paging: false
});
If you want to load by default 25 not all do this.
$('#example').dataTable({
aLengthMenu: [
[25, 50, 100, 200, -1],
[25, 50, 100, 200, "All"]
],
});

The suitable way to analyze an algorithm is by determining its worst case scenarios.

For instance, let's opt for the case where the dividend is 55, and the divisor is 34 (recall that we are still dealing with fibonacci numbers).
As you may notice, this operation costed 8 iterations (or recursive calls).
Let's try larger Fibonacci numbers, namely 121393 and 75025. We can notice here as well that it took 24 iterations (or recursive calls).
You can also notice that each iterations yields a Fibonacci number. That's why we have so many operations. We can't obtain similar results only with Fibonacci numbers indeed.
Hence, the time complexity is going to be represented by small Oh (upper bound), this time. The lower bound is intuitively Omega(1): case of 500 divided by 2, for instance.
Let's solve the recurrence relation:
We may say then that Euclidean GCD can make log(xy) operation at most.
Using the syntax text_element.selectionStart
we can get the starting position of the selection of a text in terms of the index of the first character of the selected text in the text_element.value
and in case we want to get the same of the last character in the selection we have to use text_element.selectionEnd
.
Use it as follows:
<input type=text id=t1 value=abcd>
<button onclick="alert(document.getElementById('t1').selectionStart)">check position</button>
I'm giving you the fiddle_demo
You can use awk:
ls -l | awk 'NR==2'
The above code will not get what we want because of off-by-one error: the ls -l command's first line is the total line. For that, the following revised code will work:
ls -l | awk 'NR==3'
You need to remove the static
from your accessor methods - these methods need to be instance methods and access the instance variables
public class IDCard {
public String name, fileName;
public int id;
public IDCard(final String name, final String fileName, final int id) {
this.name = name;
this.fileName = fileName
this.id = id;
}
public String getName() {
return name;
}
}
You can the create an IDCard
and use the accessor like this:
final IDCard card = new IDCard();
card.getName();
Each time you call new
a new instance of the IDCard
will be created and it will have it's own copies of the 3 variables.
If you use the static
keyword then those variables are common across every instance of IDCard
.
A couple of things to bear in mind:
name
not Name
.you can try this also
from docx import Document
document = Document('demo.docx')
for para in document.paragraphs:
print(para.text)
check the below code.
Reading from a file in the filesystem.
FileInputStream fis = null;
try {
fis = context.openFileInput(fileName);
InputStreamReader isr = new InputStreamReader(fis);
// READ STRING OF UNKNOWN LENGTH
StringBuilder sb = new StringBuilder();
char[] inputBuffer = new char[2048];
int l;
// FILL BUFFER WITH DATA
while ((l = isr.read(inputBuffer)) != -1) {
sb.append(inputBuffer, 0, l);
}
// CONVERT BYTES TO STRING
String readString = sb.toString();
fis.close();
catch (Exception e) {
} finally {
if (fis != null) {
fis = null;
}
}
below code is to write the file in to internal filesystem.
FileOutputStream fos = null;
try {
fos = context.openFileOutput(fileName, Context.MODE_PRIVATE);
fos.write(stringdatatobestoredinfile.getBytes());
fos.flush();
fos.close();
} catch (Exception e) {
} finally {
if (fos != null) {
fos = null;
}
}
I think this will help you.
There is a patch for Eclipse:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/attachment.cgi?id=262418&action=edit
Download this patch and put it to the plugins directory of your Eclipse installation. It will replace the default "org.eclipse.jst.server.tomcat.core_1.1.800.v201602282129.jar".
NOTE
After you add this patch you must choose "Apache Tomcat v9.0" when adding a server runtime environment in the Eclipse (Preferences > Server > Runtime Environments).
I.e. this patch allows you to select either Tomcat version 9.x or Tomcat version 8.5.x when adding Apache Tomcat v.9.0 runtime environment.
More details on can be found on the related bug report page: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=494936
Here there are two different concepts that are merged togather in your question.
First : Add Integer array into List. Code is as follows.
List<Integer[]> list = new ArrayList<>();
Integer[] intArray1 = new Integer[] {2, 4};
Integer[] intArray2 = new Integer[] {2, 5};
Integer[] intArray3 = new Integer[] {3, 3};
Collections.addAll(list, intArray1, intArray2, intArray3);
Second : Add integer value in list.
List<Integer> list = new ArrayList<>();
int x = 5
list.add(x);
You can use an array in the select() to define more columns and you can use the DB::raw() there with aliasing it to followers. Should look like this:
$query = DB::table('category_issue')
->select(array('issues.*', DB::raw('COUNT(issue_subscriptions.issue_id) as followers')))
->where('category_id', '=', 1)
->join('issues', 'category_issue.issue_id', '=', 'issues.id')
->left_join('issue_subscriptions', 'issues.id', '=', 'issue_subscriptions.issue_id')
->group_by('issues.id')
->order_by('followers', 'desc')
->get();
SELECT
AcId, AcName, PldepPer, RepId, CustCatg, HardCode, BlockCust, CrPeriod, CrLimit,
BillLimit, Mode, PNotes, gtab82.memno
FROM
VCustomer AS v1
INNER JOIN
gtab82 ON gtab82.memacid = v1.AcId
WHERE (AcGrCode = '204' OR CreDebt = 'True')
AND Masked = 'false'
ORDER BY AcName
You typically only use an alias for a table name when you need to prefix a column with the table name due to duplicate column names in the joined tables and the table name is long or when the table is joined to itself. In your case you use an alias for VCustomer
but only use it in the ON
clause for uncertain reasons. You may want to review that aspect of your code.
&&
and ||
are what is called "short circuiting". That means that they will not evaluate the second operand if the first operand is enough to determine the value of the expression.
For example if the first operand to &&
is false then there is no point in evaluating the second operand, since it can't change the value of the expression (false && true
and false && false
are both false). The same goes for ||
when the first operand is true.
You can read more about this here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Short-circuit_evaluation From the table on that page you can see that &&
is equivalent to AndAlso
in VB.NET, which I assume you are referring to.
I got the same error from having two references to different versions of jQuery.
In my master page:
<script type="text/javascript" src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4.4/jquery.min.js"></script>
And also on the page:
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.8.3/jquery.min.js"> </script>
this is a generic method, you can use everywhere
const isBetween = (num1,num2,value) => value > num1 && value < num2
None of the other answers here worked for me, but this did.
var topSafeAreaHeight: CGFloat = 0
var bottomSafeAreaHeight: CGFloat = 0
if #available(iOS 11.0, *) {
let window = UIApplication.shared.windows[0]
let safeFrame = window.safeAreaLayoutGuide.layoutFrame
topSafeAreaHeight = safeFrame.minY
bottomSafeAreaHeight = window.frame.maxY - safeFrame.maxY
}
You might try reducing your base memory under settings to around 3175MB and reduce your cores to 1. That should work given that your BIOS is set for virtualization. Use the f12 key, security, virtualization to make sure that it is enabled. If it doesn't say VT-x that is ok, it should say VT-d or the like.
Most of the time this is due to an incorrect export/import.
Common error:
// File: LeComponent.js
export class LeComponent extends React.Component { ... }
// File: App.js
import LeComponent from './LeComponent';
Possible option:
// File: LeComponent.js
export default class LeComponent extends React.Component { ... }
// File: App.js
import LeComponent from './LeComponent';
There are a few ways it could be wrong, but that error is because of an import/export mismatch 60% of the time, everytime.
Edit
Typically you should get a stacktrace that indicates an approximate location of where the failure occurs. This generally follows straight after the message you have in your original question.
If it doesn't show, it might be worth investigating why (it might be a build setting that you're missing). Regardless, if it doesn't show, the only course of action is narrowing down where the export/import is failing.
Sadly, the only way to do it, without a stacktrace is to manually remove each module/submodule until you don't get the error anymore, then work your way back up the stack.
Edit 2
Via comments, it was indeed an import issue, specifically importing a module that didn't exist
A couple things
(a) you cant have both background-color and background, background will always win. in the example below, i combined them through shorthand, but this will produce the color only as a fallback method when the image does not show.
(b) no-scroll does not work, i don't believe it is a valid property of a background-image. try something like fixed:
.button:after {
content: "";
width: 30px;
height: 30px;
background:red url("http://www.gentleface.com/i/free_toolbar_icons_16x16_black.png") no-repeat -30px -50px fixed;
top: 10px;
right: 5px;
position: absolute;
display: inline-block;
}
I updated your jsFiddle to this and it showed the image.
if
statement is not vectorized. For vectorized if statements you should use ifelse
. In your case it is sufficient to write
w <- function(a){
if (any(a>0)){
a/sum(a)
}
else 1
}
or a short vectorised version
ifelse(a > 0, a/sum(a), 1)
It depends on which do you want to use, because first function gives output vector of length 1 (in else part) and ifelse
gives output vector of length equal to length of a
.
@NoCanDo: You cannot create an array with different data types because java only supports variables with a specific data type or object. When you are creating an array, you are pulling together an assortment of similar variables -- almost like an extended variable. All of the variables must be of the same type therefore. Java cannot differentiate the data type of your variable unless you tell it what it is. Ex: int
tells all your variables declared to it are of data type int
. What you could do is create 3 arrays with corresponding information.
int bookNumber[] = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5};
int bookName[] = {nameOfBook1, nameOfBook2, nameOfBook3, nameOfBook4, nameOfBook5}
// etc.. etc..
Now, a single index number gives you all the info for that book. Ex: All of your arrays with index number 0 ([0]) have information for book 1.
Change the platform toolset to: "Windows7.1SDK" under project properties->configuration properties->general
The best operator for strict checking is
if($foo === true){}
That way, you're really checking if its true, and not 1 or simply just set.
In PHP 5+ objects are passed by reference. In PHP 4 they are passed by value (that's why it had runtime pass by reference, which became deprecated).
You can use the 'clone' operator in PHP5 to copy objects:
$objectB = clone $objectA;
Also, it's just objects that are passed by reference, not everything as you've said in your question...
I would suggest launching Jupyter lab/notebook from your base environment and selecting the right kernel.
How to add conda environment to jupyter lab should contains the info needed to add the kernel to your base environment.
Disclaimer : I asked the question in the topic I linked, but I feel it answers your problem too.
This is the best solution in my opinion, which is by far much shorter than the other ones:
function OnSelect(e) {
var acceptedFiles = [".jpg", ".jpeg", ".png", ".gif"];
var isAcceptedImageFormat = ($.inArray(e.files[0].extension, acceptedFiles)) != -1;
if (!isAcceptedImageFormat) {
$('#warningMessage').show();
}
else {
$('#warningMessage').hide();
}
}
In this case, the function is called from a Kendo Upload control with this setting:
.Events(e => e.Select("OnSelect"))
.
You need to use the Scatter chart type instead of Line. That will allow you to define separate X values for each series.
I do it like this:
$(window).bind('unload', function () {
if(event.clientY < 0) {
alert('Thank you for using this app.');
endSession(); // here you can do what you want ...
}
});
window.onbeforeunload = function () {
$(window).unbind('unload');
//If a string is returned, you automatically ask the
//user if he wants to logout or not...
//return ''; //'beforeunload event';
if (event.clientY < 0) {
alert('Thank you for using this service.');
endSession();
}
}
Update:
I have added this link to my other answer how to use JWT authentication for ASP.NET Web API here for anyone interested in JWT.
We have managed to apply HMAC authentication to secure Web API, and it worked okay. HMAC authentication uses a secret key for each consumer which both consumer and server both know to hmac hash a message, HMAC256 should be used. Most of the cases, hashed password of the consumer is used as a secret key.
The message normally is built from data in the HTTP request, or even customized data which is added to HTTP header, the message might include:
Under the hood, HMAC authentication would be:
Consumer sends a HTTP request to web server, after building the signature (output of hmac hash), the template of HTTP request:
User-Agent: {agent}
Host: {host}
Timestamp: {timestamp}
Authentication: {username}:{signature}
Example for GET request:
GET /webapi.hmac/api/values
User-Agent: Fiddler
Host: localhost
Timestamp: Thursday, August 02, 2012 3:30:32 PM
Authentication: cuongle:LohrhqqoDy6PhLrHAXi7dUVACyJZilQtlDzNbLqzXlw=
The message to hash to get signature:
GET\n
Thursday, August 02, 2012 3:30:32 PM\n
/webapi.hmac/api/values\n
Example for POST request with query string (signature below is not correct, just an example)
POST /webapi.hmac/api/values?key2=value2
User-Agent: Fiddler
Host: localhost
Content-Type: application/x-www-form-urlencoded
Timestamp: Thursday, August 02, 2012 3:30:32 PM
Authentication: cuongle:LohrhqqoDy6PhLrHAXi7dUVACyJZilQtlDzNbLqzXlw=
key1=value1&key3=value3
The message to hash to get signature
GET\n
Thursday, August 02, 2012 3:30:32 PM\n
/webapi.hmac/api/values\n
key1=value1&key2=value2&key3=value3
Please note that form data and query string should be in order, so the code on the server get query string and form data to build the correct message.
When HTTP request comes to the server, an authentication action filter is implemented to parse the request to get information: HTTP verb, timestamp, uri, form data and query string, then based on these to build signature (use hmac hash) with the secret key (hashed password) on the server.
The secret key is got from the database with the username on the request.
Then server code compares the signature on the request with the signature built; if equal, authentication is passed, otherwise, it failed.
The code to build signature:
private static string ComputeHash(string hashedPassword, string message)
{
var key = Encoding.UTF8.GetBytes(hashedPassword.ToUpper());
string hashString;
using (var hmac = new HMACSHA256(key))
{
var hash = hmac.ComputeHash(Encoding.UTF8.GetBytes(message));
hashString = Convert.ToBase64String(hash);
}
return hashString;
}
So, how to prevent replay attack?
Add constraint for the timestamp, something like:
servertime - X minutes|seconds <= timestamp <= servertime + X minutes|seconds
(servertime: time of request coming to server)
And, cache the signature of the request in memory (use MemoryCache, should keep in the limit of time). If the next request comes with the same signature with the previous request, it will be rejected.
The demo code is put as here: https://github.com/cuongle/Hmac.WebApi
Adding Git to Windows 7/8/8.1 Path
Note: You must have msysgit installed on your machine. Also, the path to my Git installation is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Git". Yours might be different. Please check where yours is before continuing.
Open the Windows Environment Variables/Path Window.
Add the pwd to Git's binary and cmd at the end of the string like this:
;%PROGRAMFILES(x86)%\Git\bin;%PROGRAMFILES(x86)%\Git\cmd
Now test it out in PowerShell. Type git
and see if it recognizes the command.

In spark 2.2 there are two ways to add constant value in a column in DataFrame:
1) Using lit
2) Using typedLit
.
The difference between the two is that typedLit
can also handle parameterized scala types e.g. List, Seq, and Map
Sample DataFrame:
val df = spark.createDataFrame(Seq((0,"a"),(1,"b"),(2,"c"))).toDF("id", "col1")
+---+----+
| id|col1|
+---+----+
| 0| a|
| 1| b|
+---+----+
1) Using lit
: Adding constant string value in new column named newcol:
import org.apache.spark.sql.functions.lit
val newdf = df.withColumn("newcol",lit("myval"))
Result:
+---+----+------+
| id|col1|newcol|
+---+----+------+
| 0| a| myval|
| 1| b| myval|
+---+----+------+
2) Using typedLit
:
import org.apache.spark.sql.functions.typedLit
df.withColumn("newcol", typedLit(("sample", 10, .044)))
Result:
+---+----+-----------------+
| id|col1| newcol|
+---+----+-----------------+
| 0| a|[sample,10,0.044]|
| 1| b|[sample,10,0.044]|
| 2| c|[sample,10,0.044]|
+---+----+-----------------+
When you created the WebForm, did you select the Master page it is attached to in the "Add New Item" dialog itself ? Or did you attach it manually using the MasterPageFile
attribute of the @Page
directive ? If it was the latter, it might explain the error message you receive.
VS automatically inserts certain markup in each kind of page. If you select the MasterPage at the time of page creation itself, it does not generate any markup except the @Page
declaration and the top level Content control.
You're getting errors because you're attempting to read post variables that haven't been set, they only get set on form submission. Wrap your php code at the bottom in an
if ($_SERVER['REQUEST_METHOD'] === 'POST') { ... }
Also, your code is ripe for SQL injection. At the very least use mysql_real_escape_string
on the post vars before using them in SQL queries. mysql_real_escape_string
is not good enough for a production site, but should score you extra points in class.
Why not just
private double translateSlider(int sliderval) {
if(sliderval > 4 || sliderval < 0)
return 1.0d;
return (1.0d - ((double)sliderval/10.0d));
}
Or similar?
I'm responding to this question because I had a different way of fixing this problem than the other answers had. I had this problem when I refactored the name of the plugins that I was exporting. Eventually I had to make sure to fix/change the following.
This worked for me, but your mileage may vary.
The main differenece is that bidirectional relationship provides navigational access in both directions, so that you can access the other side without explicit queries. Also it allows you to apply cascading options to both directions.
Note that navigational access is not always good, especially for "one-to-very-many" and "many-to-very-many" relationships. Imagine a Group
that contains thousands of User
s:
How would you access them? With so many User
s, you usually need to apply some filtering and/or pagination, so that you need to execute a query anyway (unless you use collection filtering, which looks like a hack for me). Some developers may tend to apply filtering in memory in such cases, which is obviously not good for performance. Note that having such a relationship can encourage this kind of developers to use it without considering performance implications.
How would you add new User
s to the Group
? Fortunately, Hibernate looks at the owning side of relationship when persisting it, so you can only set User.group
. However, if you want to keep objects in memory consistent, you also need to add User
to Group.users
. But it would make Hibernate to fetch all elements of Group.users
from the database!
So, I can't agree with the recommendation from the Best Practices. You need to design bidirectional relationships carefully, considering use cases (do you need navigational access in both directions?) and possible performance implications.

The quickest/easiest options I have found are the following. 501 represents the row index.
df.at[501,'column_name']
df.get_value(501,'column_name')
Operation get(i) in ArrayList is faster than LinkedList, because:
ArrayList: Resizable-array implementation of the List interface
LinkedList: Doubly-linked list implementation of the List and Deque interfaces
Operations that index into the list will traverse the list from the beginning or the end, whichever is closer to the specified index.
You could achieve that simply by wrapping the image by a <div>
and adding overflow: hidden
to that element:
<div class="img-wrapper">
<img src="..." />
</div>
.img-wrapper {
display: inline-block; /* change the default display type to inline-block */
overflow: hidden; /* hide the overflow */
}
Also it's worth noting that <img>
element (like the other inline elements) sits on its baseline by default. And there would be a 4~5px
gap at the bottom of the image.
That vertical gap belongs to the reserved space of descenders like: g j p q y. You could fix the alignment issue by adding vertical-align
property to the image with a value other than baseline
.
Additionally for a better user experience, you could add transition
to the images.
Thus we'll end up with the following:
.img-wrapper img {
transition: all .2s ease;
vertical-align: middle;
}
This may be very late in answering. But might be helpful to needy: How to convert WSDL to SVC :

I think that the fastest way to do this is to just clone the node, which will remove all event listeners:
var old_element = document.getElementById("btn");
var new_element = old_element.cloneNode(true);
old_element.parentNode.replaceChild(new_element, old_element);
Just be careful, as this will also clear event listeners on all child elements of the node in question, so if you want to preserve that you'll have to resort to explicitly removing listeners one at a time.

@Html.TextBoxFor(m => m.Age, new { @Value = "12" })
If you want it to be a hidden field
@Html.TextBoxFor(m => m.Age, new { @Value = "12",@type="hidden" })
This code will always fail.
As written, it says: "Look for a property named "Employee" on my DataContext property, and set it to the DataContext property". Clearly that isn't right.
To get your code to work, as is, change your window declaration to:
<Window x:Class="SampleApplication.MainWindow"
xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation"
xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml"
xmlns:local="clr-namespace:SampleApplication"
Title="MainWindow" Height="350" Width="525">
<Window.DataContext>
<local:Employee/>
</Window.DataContext>
This declares a new XAML namespace (local) and sets the DataContext to an instance of the Employee class. This will cause your bindings to display the default data (from your constructor).
However, it is highly unlikely this is actually what you want. Instead, you should have a new class (call it MainViewModel) with an Employee
property that you then bind to, like this:
public class MainViewModel
{
public Employee MyEmployee { get; set; } //In reality this should utilize INotifyPropertyChanged!
}
Now your XAML becomes:
<Window x:Class="SampleApplication.MainWindow"
xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation"
xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml"
xmlns:local="clr-namespace:SampleApplication"
Title="MainWindow" Height="350" Width="525">
<Window.DataContext>
<local:MainViewModel/>
</Window.DataContext>
...
<TextBox Grid.Column="1" Grid.Row="0" Margin="3" Text="{Binding MyEmployee.EmpID}" />
<TextBox Grid.Column="1" Grid.Row="1" Margin="3" Text="{Binding MyEmployee.EmpName}" />
Now you can add other properties (of other types, names), etc. For more information, see Implementing the Model-View-ViewModel Pattern

See Appendix C - Fatal Error Log
Per the guide, by default the file will be created in the working directory of the process if possible, or in the system temporary directory otherwise. A specific location can be chosen by passing in the -XX:ErrorFile product flag. It says:
If the -XX:ErrorFile= file flag is not specified, the system attempts to create the file in the working directory of the process. In the event that the file cannot be created in the working directory (insufficient space, permission problem, or other issue), the file is created in the temporary directory for the operating system.

If you add the extension .SH
to the environment variable PATHEXT
, you will be able to run shell scripts from PowerShell by only using the script name with arguments:
PS> .\script.sh args
If you store your scripts in a directory that is included in your PATH environment variable, you can run it from anywhere, and omit the extension and path:
PS> script args
Note: sh.exe or another *nix shell must be associated with the .sh extension.
One method to do this is to add:
pointer-events: none;
to the element, you want to disable hover on.
(Note: this also disables javascript events on that element too, click events will actually fall through to the element behind ).

This seems to be much cleaner

This happens generally when you try access another domain's resources.
This is a security feature for avoiding everyone freely accessing any resources of that domain (which can be accessed for example to have an exact same copy of your website on a pirate domain).
The header of the response, even if it's 200OK do not allow other origins (domains, port) to access the ressources.
You can fix this problem if you are the owner of both domains:
To change that, you can write this in the .htaccess of the requested domain file:
<IfModule mod_headers.c>
Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin "*"
</IfModule>
If you only want to give access to one domain, the .htaccess should look like this:
<IfModule mod_headers.c>
Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin 'https://my-domain.tdl'
</IfModule>
If you set this into the response header of the requested file, you will allow everyone to access the ressources:
Access-Control-Allow-Origin : *
OR
Access-Control-Allow-Origin : http://www.my-domain.com
Peace and code ;)
for(File f : files) {
f.delete();
}
files.delete(); // will work
A cookie key(used to identify a session) and a cookie are the same thing being used in different ways. So the limit would be the same. According to Microsoft its 4096 bytes.
cookies are usually limited to 4096 bytes and you can't store more than 20 cookies per site. By using a single cookie with subkeys, you use fewer of those 20 cookies that your site is allotted. In addition, a single cookie takes up about 50 characters for overhead (expiration information, and so on), plus the length of the value that you store in it, all of which counts toward the 4096-byte limit. If you store five subkeys instead of five separate cookies, you save the overhead of the separate cookies and can save around 200 bytes.
This usually happens when debugging using the emulator, which is known to be slow anyway.
This is the commandline for removing plugins in Cordova
cordova plugin remove <pluginid>
For example I ran cordova plugin
and got a list of plugins then I used the id for the plugin to uninstall
cordova plugin remove com.monday.contact-chooser
You can get help in the commandline by typing
cordova help <command>
Work with checkboxes using observables
You could even choose to use a behaviourSubject
to utilize the power of observables so you can start a certain chain of reaction starting at the isChecked$
observable.
In your component.ts:
public isChecked$ = new BehaviorSubject(false);
toggleChecked() {
this.isChecked$.next(!this.isChecked$.value)
}
In your template
<input type="checkbox" [checked]="isChecked$ | async" (change)="toggleChecked()">
Casting to float and catching ValueError is probably the fastest way, since float() is specifically meant for just that. Anything else that requires string parsing (regex, etc) will likely be slower due to the fact that it's not tuned for this operation. My $0.02.
A vector is a container class while an array is an allocated memory.
I don't know if it will help anyone, but based on Charx (thanks!) answer I have created simple cache service. Feel free to use, remix and share:
angular.service('cache', function() {
var _cache, _store, _get, _set, _clear;
_cache = {};
_store = function(data) {
angular.merge(_cache, data);
};
_set = function(data) {
_cache = angular.extend({}, data);
};
_get = function(key) {
if(key == null) {
return _cache;
} else {
return _cache[key];
}
};
_clear = function() {
_cache = {};
};
return {
get: _get,
set: _set,
store: _store,
clear: _clear
};
});
Following code is use for the retrive the device token.
// Prepare the Device Token for Registration (remove spaces and < >)
NSString *devToken = [[[[deviceToken description]
stringByReplacingOccurrencesOfString:@"<"withString:@""]
stringByReplacingOccurrencesOfString:@">" withString:@""]
stringByReplacingOccurrencesOfString: @" " withString: @""];
NSString *str = [NSString
stringWithFormat:@"Device Token=%@",devToken];
UIAlertView *alertCtr = [[[UIAlertView alloc] initWithTitle:@"Token is " message:devToken delegate:self cancelButtonTitle:nil otherButtonTitles: nil] autorelease];
[alertCtr show];
NSLog(@"device token - %@",str);
Add a line getchar();
or system("pause");
before your return 0;
in main function.
It will work for you.
We can make a plugin pretty easily:
$.fn.filterData = function(key, value) {
return this.filter(function() {
return $(this).data(key) == value;
});
};
Usage (checking a radio button):
$('input[name=location_id]').filterData('my-data','data-val').prop('checked',true);
There is a property of the built-in window.location
object that will provide that for the current window.
// If URL is http://www.somedomain.com/account/search?filter=a#top
window.location.pathname // /account/search
// For reference:
window.location.host // www.somedomain.com (includes port if there is one)
window.location.hostname // www.somedomain.com
window.location.hash // #top
window.location.href // http://www.somedomain.com/account/search?filter=a#top
window.location.port // (empty string)
window.location.protocol // http:
window.location.search // ?filter=a
It turns out that this schema is being standardized as an interface called URLUtils, and guess what? Both the existing window.location
object and anchor elements implement the interface.
So you can use the same properties above for any URL — just create an anchor with the URL and access the properties:
var el = document.createElement('a');
el.href = "http://www.somedomain.com/account/search?filter=a#top";
el.host // www.somedomain.com (includes port if there is one[1])
el.hostname // www.somedomain.com
el.hash // #top
el.href // http://www.somedomain.com/account/search?filter=a#top
el.pathname // /account/search
el.port // (port if there is one[1])
el.protocol // http:
el.search // ?filter=a
[1]: Browser support for the properties that include port is not consistent, See: http://jessepollak.me/chrome-was-wrong-ie-was-right
This works in the latest versions of Chrome and Firefox. I do not have versions of Internet Explorer to test, so please test yourself with the JSFiddle example.
There's also a coming URL
object that will offer this support for URLs themselves, without the anchor element. Looks like no stable browsers support it at this time, but it is said to be coming in Firefox 26. When you think you might have support for it, try it out here.
In addition to Felix's answer,
href={`/posts/${posts.id}`}
would work well too. This is nice because it's all in one string.
Docker has a default entrypoint which is /bin/sh -c
but does not have a default command.
When you run docker like this:
docker run -i -t ubuntu bash
the entrypoint is the default /bin/sh -c
, the image is ubuntu
and the command is bash
.
The command is run via the entrypoint. i.e., the actual thing that gets executed is /bin/sh -c bash
. This allowed Docker to implement RUN
quickly by relying on the shell's parser.
Later on, people asked to be able to customize this, so ENTRYPOINT
and --entrypoint
were introduced.
Everything after ubuntu
in the example above is the command and is passed to the entrypoint. When using the CMD
instruction, it is exactly as if you were doing docker run -i -t ubuntu <cmd>
. <cmd>
will be the parameter of the entrypoint.
You will also get the same result if you instead type this command docker run -i -t ubuntu
. You will still start a bash shell in the container because of the ubuntu Dockerfile specified a default CMD: CMD ["bash"]
As everything is passed to the entrypoint, you can have a very nice behavior from your images. @Jiri example is good, it shows how to use an image as a "binary". When using ["/bin/cat"]
as entrypoint and then doing docker run img /etc/passwd
, you get it, /etc/passwd
is the command and is passed to the entrypoint so the end result execution is simply /bin/cat /etc/passwd
.
Another example would be to have any cli as entrypoint. For instance, if you have a redis image, instead of running docker run redisimg redis -H something -u toto get key
, you can simply have ENTRYPOINT ["redis", "-H", "something", "-u", "toto"]
and then run like this for the same result: docker run redisimg get key
.
I've used something like this before which addresses @scunliffes concern. It finds all instances of items with a class of (in this case .button), and assigns an ID and appends its index to the id name:
$(".button").attr('id', function (index) {_x000D_
return "button-" + index;_x000D_
});
_x000D_
So let's say you have 3 items with the class name of .button on a page. The result would be adding a unique ID to all of them (in addition to their class of "button").
In this case, #button-0, #button-1, #button-2, respectively. This can come in very handy. Simply replace ".button" in the first line with whatever class you want to target, and replace "button" in the return statement with whatever you'd like your unique ID to be. Hope this helps!
Using your example, you could do:
public void doit(A a) {
if(a instanceof B) {
// needs to cast to B to access draw2 which isn't present in A
// note that this is probably not a good OO-design, but that would
// be out-of-scope for this discussion :)
((B)a).draw2();
}
a.draw();
}
#region even and odd numbers
for (int x = 0; x <= 50; x = x + 2)
{
int y = 1;
y = y + x;
if (y < 50)
{
Console.WriteLine("Odd number is #{" + x + "} : even number is #{" + y + "} order by Asc");
Console.ReadKey();
}
else
{
Console.WriteLine("Odd number is #{" + x + "} : even number is #{0} order by Asc");
Console.ReadKey();
}
}
//order by desc
for (int z = 50; z >= 0; z = z - 2)
{
int w = z;
w = w - 1;
if (w > 0)
{
Console.WriteLine("odd number is {" + z + "} : even number is {" + w + "} order by desc");
Console.ReadKey();
}
else
{
Console.WriteLine("odd number is {" + z + "} : even number is {0} order by desc");
Console.ReadKey();
}
}
It's because you cannot access protected member data through its class instance. You should correct your code as follows:
namespace homeworkchap8
{
class main
{
static void Main(string[] args)
{
SteelClubs myClub = new SteelClubs();
Console.WriteLine("How far to the hole?");
myClub.mydistance = Console.ReadLine();
Console.WriteLine("what club are you going to hit?");
myClub.myclub = Console.ReadLine();
myClub.SwingClub();
SteelClubs mycleanclub = new SteelClubs();
Console.WriteLine("\nDid you clean your club after?");
mycleanclub.mycleanclub = Console.ReadLine();
mycleanclub.clean();
SteelClubs myScoreonHole = new SteelClubs();
Console.WriteLine("\nWhat hole are you on?");
myScoreonHole.myhole = Console.ReadLine();
Console.WriteLine("What did you score on the hole?");
myScoreonHole.myscore = Console.ReadLine();
Console.WriteLine("What is the par of the hole?");
myScoreonHole.parhole = Console.ReadLine();
myScoreonHole.score();
Console.ReadKey();
}
}
}
File > Settings... > Editor > Code Style > Hard wrap at
File > Settings... > Editor > Code Style > Right margin (columns):
The warning is indeed annoying and in many (most!) cases no contentDescription is necessary for various decorative ImageViews. The most radical way to solve the problem is just to tell the Lint to ignore this check. In Eclipse, go to "Android/Lint Error Checking" in Preferences, find "contentDescription" (it is in the "Accessibility" group) and change "Severity:" to Ignore.
Or you can use this function:
DELIMITER $$
CREATE FUNCTION BLOB2TXT (blobfield VARCHAR(255)) RETURNS longtext
DETERMINISTIC
NO SQL
BEGIN
RETURN CAST(blobfield AS CHAR(10000) CHARACTER SET utf8);
END
$$
DELIMITER ;

Re: Same navbar on multiple pages Aug 21, 2018 10:13 AM|LINK
As far as I know, there are multiple solution.
For example:
The Entire code for navigation bar is in nav.html file (without any html or body tag, only the code for navigation bar).
Then we could directly load it from the jquery without writing a lot of codes.
Like this:
<!--Navigation bar-->
<div id="nav-placeholder">
</div>
<script>
$(function(){
$("#nav-placeholder").load("nav.html");
});
</script>
<!--end of Navigation bar-->
Solution2:
You could use JavaScript code to generate the whole nav bar.
Like this:
Javascript code:
$(function () {
var bar = '';
bar += '<nav class="navbar navbar-default" role="navigation">';
bar += '<div class="container-fluid">';
bar += '<div>';
bar += '<ul class="nav navbar-nav">';
bar += '<li id="home"><a href="home.html">Home</a></li>';
bar += '<li id="index"><a href="index.html">Index</a></li>';
bar += '<li id="about"><a href="about.html">About</a></li>';
bar += '</ul>';
bar += '</div>';
bar += '</div>';
bar += '</nav>';
$("#main-bar").html(bar);
var id = getValueByName("id");
$("#" + id).addClass("active");
});
function getValueByName(name) {
var url = document.getElementById('nav-bar').getAttribute('src');
var param = new Array();
if (url.indexOf("?") != -1) {
var source = url.split("?")[1];
items = source.split("&");
for (var i = 0; i < items.length; i++) {
var item = items[i];
var parameters = item.split("=");
if (parameters[0] == "id") {
return parameters[1];
}
}
}
}
Html:

Rather than
gb.get_group('foo')
I prefer using gb.groups
df.loc[gb.groups['foo']]
Because in this way you can choose multiple columns as well. for example:
df.loc[gb.groups['foo'],('A','B')]
The steps in order to make a full check are:
Prepare the captor :
ArgumentCaptor<SomeArgumentClass> someArgumentCaptor = ArgumentCaptor.forClass(SomeArgumentClass.class);
verify the call to dependent on component (collaborator of subject under test). times(1) is the default value, so ne need to add it.
verify(dependentOnComponent, times(1)).send(someArgumentCaptor.capture());
Get the argument passed to collaborator
SomeArgumentClass someArgument = messageCaptor.getValue();
someArgument can be used for assertions
See the documentation of Pattern.
Assuming US-ASCII alphabet (a-z, A-Z), you could use \p{Alnum}
.
A regex to check that a line contains only such characters is "^[\\p{Alnum}]*$"
.
That also matches empty string. To exclude empty string: "^[\\p{Alnum}]+$"
.
