As Gary's Student mentioned, you would need to remove the dot before Cells
to make the code work as you originally wrote it. I can't be sure, since you only included the one line of code, but the error you got when you deleted the dots might have something to do with how you defined your variables.

My problem was slightly different. I did everything right. But I was inheriting the wrong class for the activity hosting the fragment.

In my case I wanted to use a Swift protocol in an Objective-C header file that comes from the same target and for this I needed to use a forward declaration of the Swift protocol to reference it in the Objective-C interface. The same should be valid for using a Swift class in an Objective-C header file. This is not, as you've titled it, a "JavaScript" question; it is a question regarding the design of jQuery.
jQuery and the previously linked citation from John Resig (in karim79's message) seem to be the source misunderstanding of how event handlers in general work.
Fact: An event handler that returns false prevents the default action for that event. It does not stop the event propagation. Event handlers have always worked this way, since the old days of Netscape Navigator.

What happens in jQuery is not the same as what happens with event handlers. DOM event listeners and MSIE "attached" events are a different matter altogether.

Personally, I like setting the options directly with an assignment statement as it is easy to find via tab completion thanks to iPython. I find it hard to remember what the exact option names are, so this method works for me.
For instance, all I have to remember is that it begins with pd.options

You can generate the WS proxy classes using WSCF (Web Services Contract First) tool from thinktecture.com. So essentially, YOU CAN create webservices from wsdl's. I've used it loads and always found it to be really good.

The (*set_arg) stuff is a pointer to function and this can e.g be assigned another implementation in some derived class.

When we create a function inside another function, we are creating a closure. Closures are powerful because they are capable of reading and manipulating the data of its outer functions. Whenever a function is invoked, a new scope is created for that call. The local variable declared inside the function belong to that scope and they can only be accessed from that function. When the function has finished the execution, the scope is usually destroyed.
A simple example of such function is this:

In above example, the function buildName() declares a local variable greeting and returns it. Every function call creates a new scope with a new local variable. After the function is done executing, we have no way to refer to that scope again, so it’s garbage collected.
But how about when we have a link to that scope?
Let’s look at the next function:

However, there is no other way of accessing data from the outer scope except the closure. The closure serves as the gateway between the global context and the outer scope.

I was tempted to delete this answer as it is WRONG But instead I will explain what tripped me up
My file upload field is named 'upload' so I was getting "The upload failed to upload.". This message comes from this line in validation.php:
in resources/lang/en/validaton.php:
'uploaded' => 'The :attribute failed to upload.',
And this is the message displayed when the file is larger than the limit set by PHP.
I want to over-ride this message, which you normally can do by passing a third parameter $messages array to Validator::make() method.
However I can't do that as I am calling the POST from a React Component, which renders the form containing the csrf field and the upload field.
So instead, as a super-dodgy-hack, I chose to get into my view that displays the messages and replace that specific message with my friendly 'file too large' message.
Here is what works if the file to smaller than the PHP file size limit:

. System resources load from the system classloader, which is almost certainly not the class loader that your jar is loaded into when run as a webapp.
It works in Eclipse because when launching an application, the system classloader is configured with your jar as part of its classpath. (E.g. java -jar my.jar will load my.jar in the system class loader.) This is not the case with web applications - application servers use complex class loading to isolate webapplications from each other and from the internals of the application server. For example, see the tomcat classloader how-to, and the diagram of the classloader hierarchy used.
EDIT: Normally, you would call getClass().getResourceAsStream()
to retrieve a resource in the classpath, but as you are fetching the resource in a static initializer, you will need to explicitly name a class that is in the classloader you want to load from. The simplest approach is to use the class containing the static initializer,

Do not use serialization.A binary formatter adds headers, so you can change your class and load an old serialized file into the modified class.
Also it won't tell you the real size in memory nor will take into account memory alignment.
[Edit] By using BiteConverter.GetBytes(prop-value) recursivelly on every property of your class you would get the contents in bytes, that doesn't count the weight of the class or references but is much closer to reality. I would recommend to use a byte array for data and an unmanaged proxy class to access values using pointer casting if size matters, note that would be non-aligned memory so on old computers is gonna be slow but HUGE datasets on MODERN RAM is gonna be considerably faster, as minimizing the size to read from RAM is gonna be a bigger impact than unaligned.

Save the above as a batch file, and get Windows to run it on start up.

You're in luck bud...I had the same issue but had more tech knowledge on the matter and was able to determine that it was a mod_sec issue that hostgator has to fix/whitelist on their own. You cannot do it yourself. Simply ask the hostgator tech to check mod_sec settings on your server.

Stack is a memory allocated by the compiler, when ever we compiles the program, in default compiler allocates some memory from OS ( we can change the settings from compiler settings in your IDE) and OS is the one which give you the memory, its depends on many available memory on the system and many other things, and coming to stack memory is allocate when we declare a variable they copy(ref as formals) those variables are pushed on to stack they follow some naming conventions by default its CDECL in Visual studios ex: infix notation: c=a+b; the stack pushing is done right to left PUSHING, b to stack, operator, a to stack and result of those i,e c to stack. In pre fix notation: =+cab Here all the variables are pushed to stack 1st (right to left)and then the operation are made. This memory allocated by compiler is fixed. So lets assume 1MB of memory is allocated to our application, lets say variables used 700kb of memory(all the local variables are pushed to stack unless they are dynamically allocated) so remaining 324kb memory is allocated to heap. And this stack has less life time, when the scope of the function ends these stacks gets cleared.

For regular Windows users who are not skilled with computers, it is practically not possible to install and use extensions from outside the Chrome Web Store.
Users of other operating systems (Linux, Mac, Chrome OS) can easily install unpacked extensions (in developer mode).
Windows users can also load an unpacked extension, but they will always see an information bubble with "Disable developer mode extensions" when they start Chrome or open a new incognito window, which is really annoying. The only way for Windows users to use unpacked extensions without such dialogs is to switch to Chrome on the developer channel, by installing https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/index.html?extra=devchannel#eula.
Extensions can be loaded in unpacked mode by following the following steps:

(via omnibox or menu -> Tools -> Extensions).If you have a crx
file, then it needs to be extracted first. CRX files are zip files with a different header. Any capable zip program should be able to open it. If you don't have such a program, I recommend 7-zip.

The internal Reflection method is much faster than the others. Getting a stack trace from a newly created Throwable
is faster than getting it from the current Thread
. And among the non-internal ways of finding the caller class the custom SecurityManager
seems to be the fastest.
As lyomi points out in this comment the sun.reflect.Reflection.getCallerClass()
method has been disabled by default in Java 7 update 40 and removed completely in Java 8. Read more about this in this issue in the Java bug database.

Similarly to the RTTI, NO-RTTI discussion above, this problem can also occur if you use dynamic_cast and fail to include the object code containing the class implementation.
I ran into this problem building on Cygwin and then porting code to Linux. The make files, directory structure and even the gcc versions (4.8.2) were identical in both cases, but the code linked and operated correctly on Cygwin but failed to link on Linux. Red Hat Cygwin has apparently made compiler/linker modifications that avoid the object code linking requirement.
The Linux linker error message properly directed me to the dynamic_cast line, but earlier messages in this forum had me looking for missing function implementations rather than the actual problem: missing object code. My workaround was to substitute a virtual type function in the base and derived class, e.g. virtual int isSpecialType(), rather than use dynamic_cast. This technique avoids the requirement to link object implementation code just to get dynamic_cast to work properly.

There are tools that let you monitor the VM's memory usage. The VM can expose memory statistics using JMX. You can also print GC statistics to see how the memory is performing over time.
Invoking System.gc() can harm the GC's performance because objects will be prematurely moved from the new to old generations, and weak references will be cleared prematurely. This can result in decreased memory efficiency, longer GC times, and decreased cache hits (for caches that use weak refs). I agree with your consultant: System.gc() is bad. I'd go as far as to disable it using the command line switch.

The scipy.stats module is correctly reporting the "sample" variance, which uses (n - 1) in the denominator. The "population" variance would use n in the denominator for the calculation of variance. The alternative would be to use ServletContext.getResource() which returns a URI. This URI may be a 'file:' URL, but there's no guarantee for that.
You don't need it to be a file:... URL. You just need it to be a URL that your JVM can read--and it will be.

I had the same problem, but none of the answers above solved that. Here is how I solved the problem.
Open your php.ini
file (mine was in /etc/php/7.3/cli/php.ini
).
You may have something like this:

Add the following line before extension=pdo_mysql

So, you will have:

It seems that the problem is (at least in my case) that we need to load pdo
extension first to load the pdo_mysql

This works because clicking on the contents of a <label>

Cluster mode - In cluster mode spark selected a leader Worker node to execute the Driver process on. This means the job isn't running directly from the Master node. Here, Spark will not set an HTTP server. You have to manually make your JARS available to all the worker node via HDFS/S3/Other sources which are available to all nodes.
In "Submitting Applications", the Spark documentation does a good job of explaining the accepted prefixes for files:
When using spark-submit, the application jar along with any jars included with the --jars option will be automatically transferred to the cluster. Spark uses the following URL scheme to allow different strategies for disseminating jars:
- file: - Absolute paths and file:/ URIs are served by the driver’s HTTP file server, and every executor pulls the file from the driver HTTP server.
- hdfs:, http:, https:, ftp: - these pull down files and JARs from the URI as expected

The most important thing to understand is priority. If you pass any property via code, it will take precedence over any option you specify via spark-submit
. This is mentioned in the Spark documentation:
Any values specified as flags or in the properties file will be passed on to the application and merged with those specified through SparkConf. Properties set directly on the SparkConf take highest precedence, then flags passed to spark-submit or spark-shell, then options in the spark-defaults.conf file
So make sure you set those values in the proper places, so you won't be surprised when one takes priority over the other.
Lets analyze each option in question:
--jars
vs SparkContext.addJar
: These are identical, only one is set through spark submit and one via code. Choose the one which suites you better. One important thing to note is that using either of these options does not add the JAR to your driver/executor classpath, you'll need to explicitly add them using the extraClassPath

I had the same problem in my bundle: (Eclipse IDE + JBoss server adapter) + JBoss AS 7.0.1 (community project).
My solution is very simple - you should go to JBoss administrative panel (by default localhost:9990), there in profile settings open Core - Deployment Scanners. Turn on Autodeploy-Exploded (set to true), and by your wishes you can set scanner time (by default 5000 ms) to appropriate for your (I set to 2000, for more fast incremental publish in Eclipse when I make changes to projects). I've read some good answers here; however, there are some minor mistakes. Some have answered that the Message Length field in the UDP header is a max of 65535 (0xFFFF); this is technically true. Some have answered that the actual maximum is (65535 - IPHL - UDPHL = 65507). The mistake, is that the Message Length field in the UDP Header includes all payload (Layers 5-7), plus the length of the UDP Header (8 Bytes). What this means is that if the message length field is 200 Bytes (0x00C8), the payload is actually 192 Bytes (0x00C0).
What is hard and fast is that the maximum size of an IP datagram is 65535 Bytes. This number is arrived at the sum total of the L3 and L4 headers, plus the Layers 5-7 payload. IP Header + UDP Header + Layers 5-7 = 65535 (Max).
The most correct answer for what is the maximum size of a UDP datagam is 65515 Bytes (0xFFEB), as a UDP datagram includes the UDP header. The most correct answer for what is the maximum size of a UDP payload is 65507 Bytes, as a UDP Payload does not include the UDP header.

Yes, this is a rather cryptic message. If you've got a faulty project (say one you've been working on in the past) then you'll get this message (and no messages in your current project's Problems / Error Log panes).

If i understand your question correctly, you want to disable your "Add" button after the user clicks "Check out".

Although this is a pretty old question I must say it is touching exactly the knowledge I was missing during my first steps in R - i.e. how to express data in my hand as an object in R or how to select from existing objects. I faced the same issue when I had to pass a pom version to a downstream Rundeck job.
What I did, was using parameters injection via a properties file as such:
1) Creating properties in properties file via shell :

2) Passing defined properties to the downstream job : Post Build Actions :

3) It was then possible to use $POM_VERSION as such in the downstream Rundeck job.

Create your own class. This seems odd, but a .Net type is inadequate to cover different currencies.
