Although you can pass your data frame as the first argument to any dplyr function, I've used its %>% operator, which pipes your data frame to one or more dplyr functions (just filter in this case).

I have spent the last few days trying to figure this out myself. Using the old json dataType gives you cross origin problems, while setting the dataType to jsonp makes the data "unreadable" as explained above. So there are apparently two ways out, the first hasn't worked for me but seems like a potential solution and that I might be doing something wrong. The one that worked for me is as follows: 1- download the ajax cross origin plug in [ http://www.ajax-cross-origin.com/ ]. 2- add a script link to it just below the normal jQuery link. 3- add the line "crossOrigin: true," to your ajax function.

Check if a file is executable

First you need to remember that in Unix and Linux, everything is a file, even directories. For a file to have the rights to be executed as a command, it needs to satisfy 3 conditions:

  1. It needs to be a regular file
  2. It needs to have read-permissions
  3. It needs to have execute-permissions

So this can be done simply with:

[ -f "${file}" ] && [ -r "${file}" ] && [ -x "${file}" ]

If your file is a symbolic link to a regular file, the test command will operate on the target and not the link-name. So the above command distinguishes if a file can be used as a command or not. So there is no need to pass the file first to realpath or readlink or any of those variants.

If the file can be executed on the current OS, that is a different question. Some answers above already pointed to some possibilities for that, so there is no need to repeat it here.

I found that the accepted answer didn't suffice, since X-FRAME-OPTIONS: Allow-From isn't supported in safari or chrome. Went with a different approach instead, found in a presentation given by Ben Vinegar from Disqus. The idea is to add an event listener to the parent window, and then inside the iframe, use window.postMessage to send an event to the parent telling it to do something (resize the iframe).

So in the parent document, add an event listener:

ASP.NET Bundles how to disable minification

I combined a few answers given by others in this question to come up with another alternative solution.

Goal: To always bundle the files, to disable the JS and CSS minification in the event that <compilation debug="true" ... /> and to always apply a custom transformation to the CSS bundle.

My solution:

Back in 2002, Novell developed some software called NetDrive that can map a WebDAV, FTP, SFTP, etc. share to a windows drive letter. It is now abandonware, so it's no longer maintained (and not available on the Novell website), but it's free to use. I found quite a few available to download by searching for "netdrive.exe" I actually downloaded a few and compared their md5sums to make sure that I was getting a common (and hopefully safe) version.

First of all, it is a waste of an executor slot to wrap the build step in node. Your upstream executor will just be sitting idle for no reason.

Second, from a multibranch project, you can use the environment variable BRANCH_NAME to make logic conditional on the current branch.

Third, the job parameter takes an absolute or relative job name. If you give a name without any path qualification, that would refer to another job in the same folder, which in the case of a multibranch project would mean another branch of the same repository.

Thus what you meant to write is probably

Details:

First of all, input types:

number shows up/down arrows shrinking the actual input space, I find them ugly and are only useful if the number represents a quantity (things like phones, area codes, IDs... don't need them) tel provides similar browser validations of number without arrows

Using [number / tel] also helps showing numeric keyboard on mobile devices.

For the JS validation I ended up needing 2 functions, one for the normal user input (keypress) and the other for a copy+paste fix (change), other combinations would give me a terrible user experience.

I use the more reliable KeyboardEvent.key instead of the now deprecated KeyboardEvent.charCode

And depending of your browser support you can consider using Array.prototype.includes() instead of the poorly named Array.prototype.indexOf() (for true / false results)

How to diagnose and fix this
To check for auto-reconnection:

If an automatic reconnection does occur (for example, as a result of calling mysql_ping()), there is no explicit indication of it. To check for reconnection, call mysql_thread_id() to get the original connection identifier before calling mysql_ping(), then call mysql_thread_id() again to see whether the identifier has changed.

Make sure you keep your last query (transaction) in the client so that you can resubmit it if need be.
And disable auto-reconnect mode, because that is dangerous, implement your own reconnect instead, so that you know when a drop occurs and you can resubmit that query.

Your task declaration is incorrectly combining the Copy task type and project.copy method, resulting in a task that has nothing to copy and thus never runs. Besides, Copy isn't the right choice for renaming a directory. There is no Gradle API for renaming, but a bit of Groovy code (leveraging Java's File API) will do. Assuming Project1 is the project directory:

Notice the use of '-' and 'T' (single-quoted). This is done as a matter of best practice since regional settings interfere with the interpretation of chars such as '-' causing it to be interpreted as '/' or '.' or whatever your regional settings denote as date-components-separator. I have also included a second utility method which show-cases how to parse most commonly seen date-string formats fed to rest-api backends from web clients. Enjoy.

What's "P=NP?", and why is it such a famous question?

  1. A yes-or-no problem is in P (Polynomial time) if the answer can be computed in polynomial time.
  2. A yes-or-no problem is in NP (Non-deterministic Polynomial time) if a yes answer can be verified in polynomial time.

Intuitively, we can see that if a problem is in P, then it is in NP. Given a potential answer for a problem in P, we can verify the answer by simply recalculating the answer.

I had same issue. I found the answer:

Note: It will take unlimited memory usage of server.

Update: Use this carefully as this might slow down your system if the PHP script starts using an excessive amount of memory, causing a lot of swap space usage. You can use this if you know program will not take much memory and also you don't know how much to set it right now. But you will eventually find it how much memory you require for that program.

You should always memory limit as some value as answered by @sarki dinle.

java.sql.SQLException: - ORA-01000: maximum open cursors exceeded

If your application is a Java EE application running on Oracle WebLogic as the application server, a possible cause for this issue is the Statement Cache Size setting in WebLogic.

If the Statement Cache Size setting for a particular data source is about equal to, or greater than, the Oracle database maximum open cursor count setting, then all of the open cursors can be consumed by cached SQL statements that are held open by WebLogic, resulting in the ORA-01000 error.

To address this, reduce the Statement Cache Size setting for each WebLogic datasource that points to the Oracle database to be significantly less than the maximum cursor count setting on the database.

In the WebLogic 10 Admin Console, the Statement Cache Size setting for each data source can be found at Services (left nav) > Data Sources > (individual data source) > Connection Pool tab.

Most likely it means that the open didn't fail.

When Perl opens a file, it checks whether or not the file is a TTY (so that it can answer the -T $fh filetest operator) by issuing the TCGETS ioctl against it. If the file is a regular file and not a tty, the ioctl fails and sets errno to ENOTTY (string value: "Inappropriate ioctl for device"). As ysth says, the most common reason for seeing an unexpected value in $! is checking it when it's not valid -- that is, anywhere other than immediately after a syscall failed, so testing the result codes of your operations is critically important.

If open actually did return false for you, and you found ENOTTY in $! then I would consider this a small bug (giving a useless value of $!) but I would also be very curious as to how it happened. Code and/or truss output would be nifty.

The good news is a transaction in SQL Server can span multiple batches (each exec is treated as a separate batch.)

You can wrap your EXEC statements in a BEGIN TRANSACTION and COMMIT but you'll need to go a step further and rollback if any errors occur.

Ideally you'd want something like this:

The BEGIN TRANSACTION and COMMIT I believe you are already familiar with. The BEGIN TRY and BEGIN CATCH blocks are basically there to catch and handle any errors that occur. If any of your EXEC statements raise an error, the code execution will jump to the CATCH block.

Your existing SQL building code should be outside the transaction (above) as you always want to keep your transactions as short as possible.

Difference between chr(13) and chr(10)

Chr(10) is the Line Feed character and Chr(13) is the Carriage Return character.

You probably won't notice a difference if you use only one or the other, but you might find yourself in a situation where the output doesn't show properly with only one or the other. So it's safer to include both.


Historically, Line Feed would move down a line but not return to column 1:

They are both correct. Personally I prefer your approach better for its verbosity but it's really down to personal preference.

Off hand, running if($_POST) would not throw an error - the $_POST array exists regardless if the request was sent with POST headers. An empty array is cast to false in a boolean check.

What I did is first check what are the running processes by

Find the process you want to kill, then type:

SELECT pg_cancel_backend(<pid of the process>)

This basically "starts" a request to terminate gracefully, which may be satisfied after some time, though the query comes back immediately.

If the process cannot be killed, try:

SELECT pg_terminate_backend(<pid of the process>)

I think there is no way to find out whether a dynamic variable has a certain member without trying to access it, unless you re-implemented the way dynamic binding is handled in the C# compiler. Which would probably include a lot of guessing, because it is implementation-defined, according to the C# specification.

So you should actually try to access the member and catch an exception, if it fails:

Your format specifier is incorrect. From the printf() man page on my machine:

0 A zero '0' character indicating that zero-padding should be used rather than blank-padding. A '-' overrides a '0' if both are used;

Field Width: An optional digit string specifying a field width; if the output string has fewer characters than the field width it will be blank-padded on the left (or right, if the left-adjustment indicator has been given) to make up the field width (note that a leading zero is a flag, but an embedded zero is part of a field width);

Precision: An optional period, '.', followed by an optional digit string giving a precision which specifies the number of digits to appear after the decimal point, for e and f formats, or the maximum number of characters to be printed from a string; if the digit string is missing, the precision is treated as zero;

This is probably an edge case, but every time I've got this specific error it is because I've recently mapped a drive in Windows, and powershell cannot find it.

A computer restart (of all things) fixes the error for me, as powershell can now pick up the newly mapped drive. Just make sure you connect to the mapped drive BEFORE opening the github client.

hasOwnProperty is a normal JavaScript function that takes a string argument.

When you call shape1.hasOwnProperty(name) you are passing it the value of the name variable (which doesn't exist), just as it would if you wrote alert(name).

Checkout old commit and make it a new commit

The other answers so far create new commits that undo what is in older commits. It is possible to go back and "change history" as it were, but this can be a bit dangerous. You should only do this if the commit you're changing has not been pushed to other repositories.

The command you're looking for is git rebase --interactive

If you want to change HEAD~3, the command you want to issue is git rebase --interactive HEAD~4. This will open a text editor and allow you to specify which commits you want to change.

Practice on a different repository before you try this with something important. The man pages should give you all the rest of the information you need.

The difference between the 'Local System' account and the 'Network Service' account?

Since there is so much confusion about functionality of standard service accounts, I'll try to give a quick run down.

First the actual accounts:

  • LocalService account (preferred)

    A limited service account that is very similar to Network Service and meant to run standard least-privileged services. However, unlike Network Service it accesses the network as an Anonymous user.

    • Name: NT AUTHORITY\LocalService
    • the account has no password (any password information you provide is ignored)
    • HKCU represents the LocalService user account
    • has minimal privileges on the local computer
    • presents anonymous credentials on the network
    • SID: S-1-5-19
    • has its own profile under the HKEY_USERS registry key (HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-19)

     

  • NetworkService account

    Limited service account that is meant to run standard privileged services. This account is far more limited than Local System (or even Administrator) but still has the right to access the network as the machine (see caveat above).

    • NT AUTHORITY\NetworkService
    • the account has no password (any password information you provide is ignored)
    • HKCU represents the NetworkService user account
    • has minimal privileges on the local computer
    • presents the computer's credentials (e.g. MANGO$) to remote servers
    • SID: S-1-5-20
    • has its own profile under the HKEY_USERS registry key (HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-20)
    • If trying to schedule a task using it, enter NETWORK SERVICE into the Select User or Group dialog

     

  • LocalSystem account (dangerous, don't use!)

    Completely trusted account, more so than the administrator account. There is nothing on a single box that this account cannot do, and it has the right to access the network as the machine (this requires Active Directory and granting the machine account permissions to something)

    • Name: .\LocalSystem (can also use LocalSystem or ComputerName\LocalSystem)
    • the account has no password (any password information you provide is ignored)
    • SID: S-1-5-18
    • does not have any profile of its own (HKCU represents the default user)
    • has extensive privileges on the local computer
    • presents the computer's credentials (e.g. MANGO$) to remote servers

     

Above when talking about accessing the network, this refers solely to SPNEGO (Negotiate), NTLM and Kerberos and not to any other authentication mechanism. For example, processing running as LocalService can still access the internet.

The general issue with running as a standard out of the box account is that if you modify any of the default permissions you're expanding the set of things everything running as that account can do. So if you grant DBO to a database, not only can your service running as Local Service or Network Service access that database but everything else running as those accounts can too. If every developer does this the computer will have a service account that has permissions to do practically anything (more specifically the superset of all of the different additional privileges granted to that account).

It is always preferable from a security perspective to run as your own service account that has precisely the permissions you need to do what your service does and nothing else. However, the cost of this approach is setting up your service account, and managing the password. It's a balancing act that each application needs to manage.

In your specific case, the issue that you are probably seeing is that the the DCOM or COM+ activation is limited to a given set of accounts. In Windows XP SP2, Windows Server 2003, and above the Activation permission was restricted significantly. You should use the Component Services MMC snapin to examine your specific COM object and see the activation permissions. If you're not accessing anything on the network as the machine account you should seriously consider using Local Service (not Local System which is basically the operating system).


In Windows Server 2003 you cannot run a scheduled task as

  • NT_AUTHORITY\LocalService (aka the Local Service account), or
  • NT AUTHORITY\NetworkService (aka the Network Service account).

That capability only was added with Task Scheduler 2.0, which only exists in Windows Vista/Windows Server 2008 and newer.

There is nothing you can do on your end (client side). You can not enable crossDomain calls yourself, the source (dailymotion.com) needs to have CORS enabled for this to work.

The only thing you can really do is to create a server side proxy script which does this for you. Are you using any server side scripts in your project? PHP, Python, ASP.NET etc? If so, you could create a server side "proxy" script which makes the HTTP call to dailymotion and returns the response. Then you call that script from your Javascript code, since that server side script is on the same domain as your script code, CORS will not be a problem.

I have written a Java class RawConsoleInput that uses JNA to call operating system functions of Windows and Unix/Linux.

  • On Windows it uses _kbhit() and _getwch() from msvcrt.dll.
  • On Unix it uses tcsetattr() to switch the console to non-canonical mode, System.in.available() to check whether data is available and System.in.read() to read bytes from the console. A CharsetDecoder is used to convert bytes to characters.

For me the issue turned out to be I was using es6's right arrow functions => as opposed to function ().

Replacing => with function () resolved for me.

Check to see if cURL is installed locally?

cURL is disabled for most hosting control panels for security reasons, but it's required for a lot of php applications. It's not unusual for a client to request it. Since the risk of enabling cURL is minimal, you are probably better off enabling it than losing a customer. It's simply a utility that helps php scripts fetch things using standard Internet URLs.

To enable cURL, you will remove curl_exec from the "disabled list" in the control panel php advanced settings. You will also find a disabled list in the various php.ini files; look in /etc/php.ini and other paths that might exist for your control panel. You will need to restart Apache to make the change take effect.

To confirm whether cURL is enabled or disabled, create a file somewhere in your system and paste the following contents.

I've had a similar issue with this error. In my case, I was entering the incorrect password for the Keystore.

I changed the password for the Keystore to match what I was entering (I didn't want to change the password I was entering), but it still gave the same error.

Problem was that I also needed to change the Key's password within the Keystore.

When I initially created the Keystore, the Key was created with the same password as the Keystore (I accepted this default option). So I had to also change the Key's password as follows:

Creating a script for a Telnet session?

It may not sound a good idea but i used java and used simple TCP/IP socket programming to connect to a telnet server and exchange communication. ANd it works perfectly if you know the protocol implemented. For SSH etc, it might be tough unless you know how to do the handshake etc, but simple telnet works like a treat.

Another way i tried, was using external process in java System.exec() etc, and then let the windows built in telnet do the job for you and you just send and receive data to the local system process.

Below I have put together everything I learned about Starting/Stopping a Windows Service from a non-Admin user account, if anyone needs to know.

Primarily, there are two ways in which to Start / Stop a Windows Service. 1. Directly accessing the service through logon Windows user account. 2. Accessing the service through IIS using Network Service account.

Command line command to start / stop services:

Now what we need to do is to set the appropriate permissions to Start/Stop Windows Services to the groups or users we want. In this case we need the current non-Admin user be able to Start/Stop the service so we are going to set the permissions to that user. To do that, we need the SID of that particular Windows User Account. To obtain it, open up the Registry (Start > regedit) and locate the following registry key.

LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList

Under that there is a seperate Key for each an every user account in this computer, and the key name is the SID of each account. SID are usually of the format S-1-5-21-2103278432-2794320136-1883075150-1000. Click on each Key, and you will see on the pane to the right a list of values for each Key. Locate "ProfileImagePath", and by it's value you can find the User Name that SID belongs to. For instance, if the user name of the account is SACH, then the value of "ProfileImagePath" will be something like "C:\Users\Sach". So note down the SID of the user account you want to set the permissions to.

Note2: Here a simple C# code sample which can be used to obtain a list of said Keys and it's values.

Then add sc sdset at the front, and enclose the above part with quotes. Your final command should look something like the following:

Now we're good to go! Your non-Admin user account has been granted permissions to Start/Stop your service! Try loggin in to the user account and Start/Stop the service and it should let you do that.

2. Access through IIS Method

In this case, we need to grant the permission to the IIS user "Network Services" instead of the logon Windows user account. The procedure is the same, only the parameters of the command will be changed. Since we set the permission to "Network Services", replace SID with the string "NS" in the final sdset command we used previously. The final command should look something like this:

Spring @Transactional read-only propagation

By default transaction propagation is REQUIRED, meaning that the same transaction will propagate from a transactional caller to transactional callee. In this case also the read-only status will propagate. E.g. if a read-only transaction will call a read-write transaction, the whole transaction will be read-only.

Could you use the Open Session in View pattern to allow lazy loading? That way your handle method does not need to be transactional at all.

If you want to permanently ignore these files, a simple way to add them to .gitignore is:

AFAIK, there is no method that does this in the framework. Even if there was support for something like this in the framework, it would essentially be doing the same thing. And that would be looking at each cell in the DataRow to see if it is empty.

The NSTimer is used as a timeout, and was used due to unreliable results using the Alamofire timeout. The request should be made to a URL you trust to be reliable, such as your own server or the server that is hosting the services you depend on.

When the timer expires, the request is cancelled and the results are returned using a completion handler.

Difference between "move" and "li" in MIPS assembly language

The move instruction copies a value from one register to another. The li instruction loads a specific numeric value into that register.

For the specific case of zero, you can use either the constant zero or the zero register to get that:
