[java] How do I invoke a Java method when given the method name as a string?

I do this like this:

try {
    YourClass yourClass = new YourClass();
    Method method = YourClass.class.getMethod("yourMethodName", ParameterOfThisMethod.class);
    method.invoke(yourClass, parameter);
} catch (Exception e) {
    e.printStackTrace();
}
