How can I view the Git history in Visual Studio Code

I can execute various Git commands from Visual Studio Code  however I couldn t find a way to visualize the history

If you need to know the Commit history only  So don t use much Meshed up and bulky plugins   I will recommend you a Basic simple plugin like  Git Commits   I use it too     https   marketplace visualstudio com items itemName exelord git-commits  Enjoy

You will find the right icon to click  when you open a file or the welcome page  in the upper right corner     And you can add a keyboard shortcut
