SOAP-UI - How to pass xml inside parameter

In SOAP-UI I am making a request to a web service like this    lt soapenv Envelope xmlns soapenv  http   schemas xmlsoap org soap envelope   xmlns xxx  http   xxx call   gt      lt soapenv Header  gt      lt soapenv Body gt         lt cotf call XXX gt            lt  --Optional -- gt            lt arg0 gt               lt  --Optional -- gt               lt parameter1 gt some text lt  parameter1 gt               lt  --Optional -- gt               lt parameter2 gt XML string lt  parameter1 gt            lt  arg0 gt         lt  cotf call XXX gt      lt  soapenv Body gt   lt  soapenv Envelope gt    What I would like to know is how I can pass an XML string on parameter 2 since if I put the XML string directly it assumes the XML string nodes as request parameters      Thanks

NOTE  This one is just an alternative for the previous provided  NET framework 3 5 and above  You can send it as raw xml   lt test gt or like this lt  test gt    If you declare the paramater2 as XElement data type

Either encode the needed XML entities or use CDATA    lt arg0 gt       lt  --Optional -- gt       lt parameter1 gt  amp lt test gt like this amp lt  test gt  lt  parameter1 gt       lt  --Optional -- gt       lt parameter2 gt  lt   CDATA  lt test gt or like this lt  test gt    gt  lt  parameter2 gt    lt  arg0 gt

To send CDATA in a request object use the SoapObject setInnerText         method
