Use this
DefaultHttpClient httpClient = new DefaultHttpClient();
HttpGet httpGet = new HttpGet("http://www.someplace.com");
ResponseHandler<String> resHandler = new BasicResponseHandler();
String page = httpClient.execute(httpGet, resHandler);
This can be used to grab the whole webpage as a string of html, i.e., "<html>...</html>"
