In Eclipse, go to Window → Preferences → General → Network Connections. In the Active Provider combo box, choose "Manual". In the proxy entries table, for each entry click "Edit..." and supply your proxy host, port, username and password details.
In Numbers, click on the chart. Then in the BOTTOM LEFT corner there is the the option to either 'Plot Rows as Series'or 'Plot Columns as series'
Well, I spent a lot of time on this issue. To get an answer working with Chrome AND IE, I had to change my approach. The idea is to avoid removing the selected option (because cannot remove it properly with IE). => this implies to select option not by adding or setting the selected attribute on the option, but to choose an option at the "select" level using the selectedIndex prop.
Before :
$('#myselect option:contains("value")').attr('selected','selected');
$('#myselect option:contains("value")').removeAttr('selected'); => KO with IE
After :
$('#myselect').prop('selectedIndex', $('#myselect option:contains("value")').index());
$('#myselect').prop('selectedIndex','-1'); => OK with all browsers
Hope it will help
Try this part of code:
void containsOnlyNumbers(String str)
{
try {
Integer num = Integer.valueOf(str);
System.out.println("is a number");
} catch (NumberFormatException e) {
// TODO: handle exception
System.out.println("is not a number");
}
}
Could you create your own generic interface that extends Event
. Something like this?
interface DOMEvent<T extends EventTarget> extends Event {
target: T
}
Then you can use it like:
handleChange(event: DOMEvent<HTMLInputElement>) {
this.setState({ value: event.target.value });
}
I had this problem right now, and it turned out that my server /etc/resolver.conf file had a bad ip address. Might help others.
If you want to find the total number of non-empty lines, you could use AWK:
git ls-files | xargs cat | awk '/\S/{x++} END{print "Total number of non-empty lines:", x}'
This uses regex to count the lines containing a non-whitespace character.
Replace <
with <
and >
with >
.
Your code is way more cluttered than necessary.
Replace (Not (X Is Nothing))
with X IsNot Nothing
and omit the outer parentheses:
If comp.Container IsNot Nothing AndAlso comp.Container.Components IsNot Nothing Then
For i As Integer = 0 To comp.Container.Components.Count() - 1
fixUIIn(comp.Container.Components(i), style)
Next
End If
Much more readable. … Also notice that I’ve removed the redundant Step 1
and the probably redundant .Item
.
But (as pointed out in the comments), index-based loops are out of vogue anyway. Don’t use them unless you absolutely have to. Use For Each
instead:
If comp.Container IsNot Nothing AndAlso comp.Container.Components IsNot Nothing Then
For Each component In comp.Container.Components
fixUIIn(component, style)
Next
End If
None of the answers worked for me, but this is what finally worked after i set android:fitSystemWindows
on the root view(I set these in styles v21):
<item name="android:windowDrawsSystemBarBackgrounds">true</item>
<item name="android:windowTranslucentStatus">false</item>
Make sure you don't have the following line as AS puts it by default:
<item name="android:statusBarColor">@android:color/transparent</item>
You can have a look at my library here. Under the documentation section, you will find how to import a data table.
You just have to write
using (var doc = new SpreadsheetDocument(@"C:\OpenXmlPackaging.xlsx")) {
Worksheet sheet1 = doc.Worksheets.Add("My Sheet");
sheet1.ImportDataTable(ds.Tables[0], "A1", true);
}
Hope it helps!
The --target switch is the thing you're looking for:
pip install --target=d:\somewhere\other\than\the\default package_name
But you still need to add d:\somewhere\other\than\the\default
to PYTHONPATH
to actually use them from that location.
-t, --target <dir>
Install packages into <dir>. By default this will not replace existing files/folders in <dir>.
Use --upgrade to replace existing packages in <dir> with new versions.
Upgrade pip if target switch is not available:
On Linux or OS X:
pip install -U pip
On Windows (this works around an issue):
python -m pip install -U pip
You never named your submit button, so as far as the form is concerned it's just an action.
Either:
<input type="submit" name="submit" ... />
)if (!empty($_POST))
instead to detect when data has been posted.Remember that keys in the $_POST
superglobal only appear for named input elements. So, unless the element has the name attribute, it won't come through to $_POST
(or $_GET
/$_REQUEST
)
I would use stricmp()
. It compares two strings without regard to case.
Note that, in some cases, converting the string to lower case can be faster.
Almost everything in EC2 is multi-tenant. What the network performance indicates is what priority you will have compared with other instances sharing the same infrastructure.
If you need a guaranteed level of bandwidth, then EC2 will likely not work well for you.
The fastest way to parse HTML in Chrome and Firefox is Range#createContextualFragment:
var range = document.createRange();
range.selectNode(document.body); // required in Safari
var fragment = range.createContextualFragment('<h1>html...</h1>');
var firstNode = fragment.firstChild;
I would recommend to create a helper function which uses createContextualFragment if available and falls back to innerHTML otherwise.
Benchmark: http://jsperf.com/domparser-vs-createelement-innerhtml/3
Using Laravel Eloquent you can get one row using first()
method,
it returns first row of table if where()
condition is not found otherwise it gives the first matched row of given criteria.
Syntax:
Model::where('fieldname',$value)->first();
Example:
$user = User::where('email',$email)->first();
//OR
//$user = User::whereEmail($email)->first();
Assuming that by "binary code" you mean just plain old data (sequences of bits, or bytes), and that by "letters" you mean characters, the answer is in two steps. But first, some background.
Okay now here are the two steps:
The data, if it is textual, must be accompanied somehow by a character encoding, something like UTF-8, Latin-1, US-ASCII, etc. Each character encoding scheme specifies in great detail how byte sequences are interpreted as codepoints (and conversely how codepoints are encoded as byte sequences).
Once the byte sequences are interpreted as codepoints, you have your characters, because each character has a specific codepoint.
A couple notes:
In other words, not every byte sequence means something as text.
It can be done by simply declaring one function which will handle all your swipe UISwipeGestureRecognizer directions. Here is my code:
let swipeGestureRight = UISwipeGestureRecognizer(target: self, action:#selector(ViewController.respondToSwipeGesture(_:)) )
swipeGestureRight.direction = UISwipeGestureRecognizerDirection.right
self.view .addGestureRecognizer(swipeGestureRight)
let swipeGestureLeft = UISwipeGestureRecognizer(target: self, action: #selector(ViewController.respondToSwipeGesture(_:)))
swipeGestureLeft.direction = UISwipeGestureRecognizerDirection.left
self.view.addGestureRecognizer(swipeGestureLeft)
let swipeGestureUp = UISwipeGestureRecognizer(target: self, action: #selector(ViewController.respondToSwipeGesture(_:)))
swipeGestureUp.direction = UISwipeGestureRecognizerDirection.up
self.view.addGestureRecognizer(swipeGestureUp)
let swipeGestureDown = UISwipeGestureRecognizer(target: self, action: #selector(ViewController.respondToSwipeGesture(_:)))
swipeGestureDown.direction = UISwipeGestureRecognizerDirection.down
self.view.addGestureRecognizer(swipeGestureDown)
Here is the function which will hande the swipedirection functionality:
func respondToSwipeGesture(_ sender: UIGestureRecognizer) {
if let swipeGesture = sender as? UISwipeGestureRecognizer {
switch swipeGesture.direction {
case UISwipeGestureRecognizerDirection.right:
print("right swipe")
case UISwipeGestureRecognizerDirection.left:
print("leftSwipe")
case UISwipeGestureRecognizerDirection.up:
print("upSwipe")
case UISwipeGestureRecognizerDirection.down:
print("downSwipe")
default:
break
}
}
}
In jQuery e
short for event
, the current event object. It's usually passed as a parameter for the event function to be fired.
Demo: jQuery Events
In the demo I used e
$("img").on("click dblclick mouseover mouseout",function(e){
$("h1").html("Event: " + e.type);
});
I may as well have used event
$("img").on("click dblclick mouseover mouseout",function(event){
$("h1").html("Event: " + event.type);
});
Same thing!
Programmers are lazy we use a lot of shorthand, partly it decreases our work, partly is helps with readability. Understanding that will help you understand the mentality of writing code.
You can create with javascript some css-rules
, which you can later use in your styles: http://jsfiddle.net/ARTsinn/vKbda/
var addRule = (function (sheet) {
if(!sheet) return;
return function (selector, styles) {
if (sheet.insertRule) return sheet.insertRule(selector + " {" + styles + "}", sheet.cssRules.length);
if (sheet.addRule) return sheet.addRule(selector, styles);
}
}(document.styleSheets[document.styleSheets.length - 1]));
var i = 101;
while (i--) {
addRule("[data-width='" + i + "%']", "width:" + i + "%");
}
This creates 100 pseudo-selectors like this:
[data-width='1%'] { width: 1%; }
[data-width='2%'] { width: 2%; }
[data-width='3%'] { width: 3%; }
...
[data-width='100%'] { width: 100%; }
Note: This is a bit offtopic, and not really what you (or someone) wants, but maybe helpful.
I wrote the following function. It replaces the following:
Single quote ['] with a slash and a single quote [\'].
Backslash [\] with two backslashes [\\]
function escapePhpString($target) {
$replacements = array(
"'" => '\\\'',
"\\" => '\\\\'
);
return strtr($target, $replacements);
}
You can modify it to add or remove character replacements in the $replacements array. For example, to replace \r\n, it becomes "\r\n" => "\r\n" and "\n" => "\n".
/**
* With new line replacements too
*/
function escapePhpString($target) {
$replacements = array(
"'" => '\\\'',
"\\" => '\\\\',
"\r\n" => "\\r\\n",
"\n" => "\\n"
);
return strtr($target, $replacements);
}
The neat feature about strtr is that it will prefer long replacements.
Example, "Cool\r\nFeature" will escape \r\n rather than escaping \n along.
you have to split the datetime and then store it with your desired format like dd/MM/yyyy. then you can use this query with between but i have objection using this becasue it will search every single data on your database,so i suggest you can use datediff.
Dim start = txtstartdate.Text.Trim()
Dim endday = txtenddate.Text.Trim()
Dim arr()
arr = Split(start, "/")
Dim dt As New DateTime
dt = New Date(Val(arr(2).ToString), Val(arr(1).ToString), Val(arr(0).ToString))
Dim arry()
arry = Split(endday, "/")
Dim dt2 As New DateTime
dt2 = New Date(Val(arry(2).ToString), Val(arry(1).ToString), Val(arry(0).ToString))
qry = "SELECT * FROM [calender] WHERE datediff(day,'" & dt & "',[date])>=0 and datediff(day,'" & dt2 & "',[date])<=0 "
here i have used dd/MM/yyyy format.
If you don't mind using a bit of JavaScript, jQuery's fadeTo() works nicely in every browser I've tried.
jQuery(selector).fadeTo(speed, opacity);
This is a server side issue. You don't need to add any headers in angular for cors. You need to add header on the server side:
Access-Control-Allow-Headers: Content-Type
Access-Control-Allow-Methods: GET, POST, OPTIONS
Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *
First two answers here: How to enable CORS in AngularJs
In case that you're interested in specific lines, use a result-array:
declare RESULT=($(./myscript)) # (..) = array
echo "First line: ${RESULT[0]}"
echo "Second line: ${RESULT[1]}"
echo "N-th line: ${RESULT[N]}"
byte[] data; using(Stream inputStream=file.InputStream) { MemoryStream memoryStream = inputStream as MemoryStream; if (memoryStream == null) { memoryStream = new MemoryStream(); inputStream.CopyTo(memoryStream); } data = memoryStream.ToArray(); }
If you are running on Linux (I tested in Ubuntu 10.04), the shortcut is Ctrl + F12 (same of Windows)
Try Collections.shuffle(list).If usage of this method is barred for solving the problem, then one can look at the actual implementation.
Try shutil.rmtree
:
import shutil
shutil.rmtree('/path/to/your/dir/')
Since this question was closed, I'm posting here for how you do it using SQLAlchemy. Via recursion, it retries a bulk insert or update to combat race conditions and validation errors.
First the imports
import itertools as it
from functools import partial
from operator import itemgetter
from sqlalchemy.exc import IntegrityError
from app import session
from models import Posts
Now a couple helper functions
def chunk(content, chunksize=None):
"""Groups data into chunks each with (at most) `chunksize` items.
https://stackoverflow.com/a/22919323/408556
"""
if chunksize:
i = iter(content)
generator = (list(it.islice(i, chunksize)) for _ in it.count())
else:
generator = iter([content])
return it.takewhile(bool, generator)
def gen_resources(records):
"""Yields a dictionary if the record's id already exists, a row object
otherwise.
"""
ids = {item[0] for item in session.query(Posts.id)}
for record in records:
is_row = hasattr(record, 'to_dict')
if is_row and record.id in ids:
# It's a row but the id already exists, so we need to convert it
# to a dict that updates the existing record. Since it is duplicate,
# also yield True
yield record.to_dict(), True
elif is_row:
# It's a row and the id doesn't exist, so no conversion needed.
# Since it's not a duplicate, also yield False
yield record, False
elif record['id'] in ids:
# It's a dict and the id already exists, so no conversion needed.
# Since it is duplicate, also yield True
yield record, True
else:
# It's a dict and the id doesn't exist, so we need to convert it.
# Since it's not a duplicate, also yield False
yield Posts(**record), False
And finally the upsert function
def upsert(data, chunksize=None):
for records in chunk(data, chunksize):
resources = gen_resources(records)
sorted_resources = sorted(resources, key=itemgetter(1))
for dupe, group in it.groupby(sorted_resources, itemgetter(1)):
items = [g[0] for g in group]
if dupe:
_upsert = partial(session.bulk_update_mappings, Posts)
else:
_upsert = session.add_all
try:
_upsert(items)
session.commit()
except IntegrityError:
# A record was added or deleted after we checked, so retry
#
# modify accordingly by adding additional exceptions, e.g.,
# except (IntegrityError, ValidationError, ValueError)
db.session.rollback()
upsert(items)
except Exception as e:
# Some other error occurred so reduce chunksize to isolate the
# offending row(s)
db.session.rollback()
num_items = len(items)
if num_items > 1:
upsert(items, num_items // 2)
else:
print('Error adding record {}'.format(items[0]))
Here's how you use it
>>> data = [
... {'id': 1, 'text': 'updated post1'},
... {'id': 5, 'text': 'updated post5'},
... {'id': 1000, 'text': 'new post1000'}]
...
>>> upsert(data)
The advantage this has over bulk_save_objects
is that it can handle relationships, error checking, etc on insert (unlike bulk operations).
If you are using Eclipse, try the following:
This error occurred to me when I was debugging the PHP header() function:
header('Location: /aaa/bbb/ccc'); // error
If I use a relative path it works:
header('Location: aaa/bbb/ccc'); // success, but not what I wanted
However when I use an absolute path like /aaa/bbb/ccc
, it gives the exact error:
Request exceeded the limit of 10 internal redirects due to probable configuration error. Use 'LimitInternalRecursion' to increase the limit if necessary. Use 'LogLevel debug' to get a backtrace.
It appears the header function redirects internally without going HTTP at all which is weird. After some tests and trials, I found the solution of adding exit after header():
header('Location: /aaa/bbb/ccc');
exit;
And it works properly.
If I am not mistaken, GridView
does not hold the values of BoundColumns
that have the attribute visible="false"
. Two things you may do here, one (as explained in the answer from V4Vendetta) to use Datakeys
. Or you can change your BoundColumn
to a TemplateField
. And in the ItemTemplate
, add a control like Label
, make its visibility false and give your value to that Label
.
I'm on debian linux amd64. I installed oracle's Java 11 from oracle's java download page. Installed eclipse from eclipse.org. Running eclipse produced the "cannot load swt" error. I followed ATorras's advice and did
apt install libswt-gtk-4-jni
(which also installed a ton of other things) and after that eclipse started. Although it started I did get the following errors/warnings:

I think I can ignore most if not all of that. I'm doing an ssh into the linux box using mobaXterm on my windows pc, so it's displaying its window on my pc. My linux box is headless.
For me the following examples:
document.querySelector("#connect").click()
ordocument.querySelector("colab-toolbar-button#connect").click()
ordocument.querySelector("colab-connect-button").click()
were throwing errors.
I had to adapt them to the following:
Version 1:
function ClickConnect(){
console.log("Connnect Clicked - Start");
document.querySelector("#top-toolbar > colab-connect-button").shadowRoot.querySelector("#connect").click();
console.log("Connnect Clicked - End");
};
setInterval(ClickConnect, 60000)
Version 2: If you would like to be able to stop the function, here is the new code:
var startClickConnect = function startClickConnect(){
var clickConnect = function clickConnect(){
console.log("Connnect Clicked - Start");
document.querySelector("#top-toolbar > colab-connect-button").shadowRoot.querySelector("#connect").click();
console.log("Connnect Clicked - End");
};
var intervalId = setInterval(clickConnect, 60000);
var stopClickConnectHandler = function stopClickConnect() {
console.log("Connnect Clicked Stopped - Start");
clearInterval(intervalId);
console.log("Connnect Clicked Stopped - End");
};
return stopClickConnectHandler;
};
var stopClickConnect = startClickConnect();
In order to stop, call:
stopClickConnect();
As previously mentioned, you have to write it. Here is my humble version: (super basic one)
function tprint (t, s)
for k, v in pairs(t) do
local kfmt = '["' .. tostring(k) ..'"]'
if type(k) ~= 'string' then
kfmt = '[' .. k .. ']'
end
local vfmt = '"'.. tostring(v) ..'"'
if type(v) == 'table' then
tprint(v, (s or '')..kfmt)
else
if type(v) ~= 'string' then
vfmt = tostring(v)
end
print(type(t)..(s or '')..kfmt..' = '..vfmt)
end
end
end
example:
local mytbl = { ['1']="a", 2, 3, b="c", t={d=1} }
tprint(mytbl)
output (Lua 5.0):
table[1] = 2
table[2] = 3
table["1"] = "a"
table["t"]["d"] = 1
table["b"] = "c"
This works fine for me:
while True:
answer = input('Do you want to continue?:')
if answer.lower().startswith("y"):
print("ok, carry on then")
elif answer.lower().startswith("n"):
print("sayonara, Robocop")
exit()
edit: use input
in python 3.2 instead of raw_input
Maybe a slightly tighter version? My use case is outputting college majors given a json array of majors (data).
var count_data = data.length;
$.each( data, function( index ){
var column = ( index < count_data/2 ) ? 1 : 2;
$("#column"+column).append(this.name+'<br/>');
});
<div id="majors_view" class="span12 pull-left">
<div class="row-fluid">
<div class="span5" id="column1"> </div>
<div class="span5 offset1" id="column2"> </div>
</div>
</div>
I think you should actually have a submit button or a submit image... Do you have a specific reason for using a "submit div"? If you just want custom styles I recommend <input type="image"...
. http://webdesign.about.com/cs/forms/a/aaformsubmit_2.htm
To remove a property from an object (mutating the object), you can do it like this:
delete myObject.regex;
// or,
delete myObject['regex'];
// or,
var prop = "regex";
delete myObject[prop];
Demo
var myObject = {
"ircEvent": "PRIVMSG",
"method": "newURI",
"regex": "^http://.*"
};
delete myObject.regex;
console.log(myObject);
_x000D_
For anyone interested in reading more about it, Stack Overflow user kangax has written an incredibly in-depth blog post about the delete
statement on their blog, Understanding delete. It is highly recommended.
If you'd like a new object with all the keys of the original except some, you could use the destructuring.
Demo
let myObject = {
"ircEvent": "PRIVMSG",
"method": "newURI",
"regex": "^http://.*"
};
const {regex, ...newObj} = myObject;
console.log(newObj); // has no 'regex' key
console.log(myObject); // remains unchanged

Method 1:
TelephonyManager tMgr = (TelephonyManager)mAppContext.getSystemService(Context.TELEPHONY_SERVICE);
String mPhoneNumber = tMgr.getLine1Number();
With below permission
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATE"/>
Method 2:
There is another way you will be able to get your phone number, I haven't tested this on multiple devices but above code is not working every time.
Try below code:
String main_data[] = {"data1", "is_primary", "data3", "data2", "data1", "is_primary", "photo_uri", "mimetype"};
Object object = getContentResolver().query(Uri.withAppendedPath(android.provider.ContactsContract.Profile.CONTENT_URI, "data"),
main_data, "mimetype=?",
new String[]{"vnd.android.cursor.item/phone_v2"},
"is_primary DESC");
if (object != null) {
do {
if (!((Cursor) (object)).moveToNext())
break;
String s1 = ((Cursor) (object)).getString(4);
} while (true);
((Cursor) (object)).close();
}
You will need to add these two permissions.
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.READ_CONTACTS" />
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.READ_PROFILE" />
Hope this helps, Thanks!
You're nearly there, just take out the EXECUTE:
DECLARE
procId NUMBER;
BEGIN
PKG1.INIT(1143824, 0, procId);
DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE(procId);
END;
You can just run an interactive shell container using that image and explore whatever content that image has.
For instance:
docker run -it image_name sh
Or following for images with an entrypoint
docker run -it --entrypoint sh image_name
Or, if you want to see how the image was build, meaning the steps in its Dockerfile
, you can:
docker image history --no-trunc image_name > image_history
The steps will be logged into the image_history
file.
If you have to log all args or your method have one argument, you can simply use getArgs like described in previous answers.
If you have to log a specific arg, you can annoted it and then recover its value like this :
@Retention(RetentionPolicy.RUNTIME)
@Target(ElementType.PARAMETER)
public @interface Data {
String methodName() default "";
}
@Aspect
public class YourAspect {
@Around("...")
public Object around(ProceedingJoinPoint point) throws Throwable {
Method method = MethodSignature.class.cast(point.getSignature()).getMethod();
Object[] args = point.getArgs();
StringBuilder data = new StringBuilder();
Annotation[][] parameterAnnotations = method.getParameterAnnotations();
for (int argIndex = 0; argIndex < args.length; argIndex++) {
for (Annotation paramAnnotation : parameterAnnotations[argIndex]) {
if (!(paramAnnotation instanceof Data)) {
continue;
}
Data dataAnnotation = (Data) paramAnnotation;
if (dataAnnotation.methodName().length() > 0) {
Object obj = args[argIndex];
Method dataMethod = obj.getClass().getMethod(dataAnnotation.methodName());
data.append(dataMethod.invoke(obj));
continue;
}
data.append(args[argIndex]);
}
}
}
}
Examples of use :
public void doSomething(String someValue, @Data String someData, String otherValue) {
// Apsect will log value of someData param
}
public void doSomething(String someValue, @Data(methodName = "id") SomeObject someData, String otherValue) {
// Apsect will log returned value of someData.id() method
}

I actually used this script to replace a line of code in the cron file on our company's UNIX servers awhile back. We executed it as normal shell script and had no problems:
#Create temporary file with new line in place
cat /dir/file | sed -e "s/the_original_line/the_new_line/" > /dir/temp_file
#Copy the new file over the original file
mv /dir/temp_file /dir/file
This doesn't go by line number, but you can easily switch to a line number based system by putting the line number before the s/
and placing a wildcard in place of the_original_line
.
What you have is correct, but this is more consice:
^[A-Z]{3}$
The section tag provides a more semantic syntax for html. div is a generic tag for a section. When you use section tag for appropriate content, it can be used for search engine optimization also. section tag also makes it easy for html parsing. for more info, refer. http://blog.whatwg.org/is-not-just-a-semantic
I think this is the best way:
this.stops.stream().filter(s -> Objects.equals(s.getStation().getName(), this.name)).findFirst().orElse(null);
I had a similar issue, but more complex as I needed to transform a CSV file into an array of arrays (each line is one array element that inside has an array of items split by comma).
The easiest solution (and more secure I bet) was to use PapaParse which has a "no-header" option that transform the CSV file into an array of arrays, plus, it automatically detected the "," as my delimiter.
Plus, it is registered in Bower, so I only had to:
bower install papa-parse --save
And then use it in my code as follows:
var arrayOfArrays = Papa.parse(csvStringWithEnters), {header:false}).data;
I really liked it.
The main difference is ::
npm install is a npm cli-command which does the predefined thing i.e, as written by Churro, to install dependencies specified inside package.json
npm run command-name or npm run-script command-name ( ex. npm run build ) is also a cli-command predefined to run your custom scripts with the name specified in place of "command-name". So, in this case npm run build is a custom script command with the name "build" and will do anything specified inside it (for instance echo 'hello world' given in below example package.json).
Ponits to note::
One more thing, npm build
and npm run build
are two different things, npm run build
will do custom work written inside package.json
and npm build
is a pre-defined script (not available to use directly)
You cannot specify some thing inside custom build script (npm run build
) script and expect npm build
to do the same. Try following thing to verify in your package.json
:
{ "name": "demo", "version": "1.0.0", "description": "", "main": "index.js", "scripts": { "build":"echo 'hello build'" }, "keywords": [], "author": "", "license": "ISC", "devDependencies": {}, "dependencies": {} }
and run npm run build
and npm build
one by one and you will see the difference. For more about commands kindly follow npm documentation.
Cheers!!
Worked for me: in the begining it worked and after a while went to offline.
I did the follwong:
adb kill-server
adb start-server
.
Plug the phone again with usb to PC
adb devices
,
output of empty list provided.
adb tcpip 5555
, adb connect <mobile wifi ip address>
Then it became online again.
I've been trying different variants of this for days, and I thought for a day I had it re-launching the app in the background, even when the user swiped to kill, but no I can't replicate that behavior.
It's unfortunate that the behavior is quite different than before. On iOS 6, if you killed the app from the jiggling icons, it would still get re-awoken on SLC triggers. Now, if you kill by swiping, that doesn't happen.
It's a different behavior, and the user, who would continue to get useful information from our app if they had killed it on iOS 6, now will not.
We need to nudge our users to re-open the app now if they have swiped to kill it and are still expecting some of the notification behavior that we used to give them. I'm worried this won't be obvious to users when they swipe an app away. They may, after all, be basically cleaning up or wanting to rearrange the apps that are shown minimized.
If you cannot find the .exe file, rebuild your solution and in your "Output" from Visual Studio the path to the file will be shown.
You should not create a new Random
instance in a loop. Try something like:
var rnd = new Random();
for(int i = 0; i < 100; ++i)
Console.WriteLine(rnd.Next(1, 100));
The sequence of random numbers generated by a single Random
instance is supposed to be uniformly distributed. By creating a new Random
instance for every random number in quick successions, you are likely to seed them with identical values and have them generate identical random numbers. Of course, in this case, the generated sequence will be far from uniform distribution.
For the sake of completeness, if you really need to reseed a Random
, you'll create a new instance of Random
with the new seed:
rnd = new Random(newSeed);
If you look at the Console
class in .NET Reflector, you'll find that if a process doesn't have an associated console, Console.Out
and Console.Error
are backed by Stream.Null
(wrapped inside a TextWriter
), which is a dummy implementation of Stream
that basically ignores all input, and gives no output.
So it is conceptually equivalent to /dev/null
, but the implementation is more streamlined: there's no actual I/O taking place with the null device.
Also, apart from calling SetOut
, there is no way to configure the default.
Update 2020-11-02: As this answer is still gathering votes in 2020, it should probably be noted that under ASP.NET Core, there usually is a console attached. You can configure the ASP.NET Core IIS Module to redirect all stdout and stderr output to a log file via the stdoutLogEnabled
and stdoutLogFile
settings:
<system.webServer>
<aspNetCore processPath="dotnet"
arguments=".\MyApp.dll"
hostingModel="inprocess"
stdoutLogEnabled="true"
stdoutLogFile=".\logs\stdout" />
<system.webServer>
I found the highest voted answer (hometoast's answer) doesn't work perfectly for me. Two problems:
The following is a modified version:
^((http[s]?|ftp):\/)?\/?([^:\/\s]+)(:([^\/]*))?((\/\w+)*\/)([\w\-\.]+[^#?\s]+)(\?([^#]*))?(#(.*))?$
Position of parts are as follows:
int SCHEMA = 2, DOMAIN = 3, PORT = 5, PATH = 6, FILE = 8, QUERYSTRING = 9, HASH = 12
Edit posted by anon user:
function getFileName(path) {
return path.match(/^((http[s]?|ftp):\/)?\/?([^:\/\s]+)(:([^\/]*))?((\/[\w\/-]+)*\/)([\w\-\.]+[^#?\s]+)(\?([^#]*))?(#(.*))?$/i)[8];
}
Here's another way:
Option Explicit
' Just a little test stub.
Sub Tester()
Dim pList(500) As Integer
Dim i As Integer
For i = 0 To UBound(pList)
pList(i) = 500 - i
Next i
MsgBox "Value 18 is at array position " & FindInArray(pList, 18) & "."
MsgBox "Value 217 is at array position " & FindInArray(pList, 217) & "."
MsgBox "Value 1001 is at array position " & FindInArray(pList, 1001) & "."
End Sub
Function FindInArray(pList() As Integer, value As Integer)
Dim i As Integer
Dim FoundValueLocation As Integer
FoundValueLocation = -1
For i = 0 To UBound(pList)
If pList(i) = value Then
FoundValueLocation = i
Exit For
End If
Next i
FindInArray = FoundValueLocation
End Function
int i = 1;
int j = 1;
int k = i++; // post increment
int l = ++j; // pre increment
std::cout << k; // prints 1
std::cout << l; // prints 2
Post increment implies the value i
is incremented after it has been assigned to k
. However, pre increment implies the value j is incremented before it is assigned to l
.
The same applies for decrement.
I have a background service that performs an action for each entry in a table. The problem is, that if I iterate over and modify some data all on the same instance of the DbContext this error occurs.
One solution, as mentioned in this thread is to change the DbContext's lifetime to transient by defining it like
services.AddDbContext<DbContext>(ServiceLifetime.Transient);
but because I do changes in multiple different services and commit them at once using the SaveChanges()
method this solution doesnt work in my case.
Because my code runs in a service, I was doing something like
using (var scope = Services.CreateScope())
{
var entities = scope.ServiceProvider.GetRequiredService<IReadService>().GetEntities();
var writeService = scope.ServiceProvider.GetRequiredService<IWriteService>();
foreach (Entity entity in entities)
{
writeService.DoSomething(entity);
}
}
to be able to use the service like if it was a simple request. So to solve the issue i just split the single scope into two, one for the query and the other for the write operations like so:
using (var readScope = Services.CreateScope())
using (var writeScope = Services.CreateScope())
{
var entities = readScope.ServiceProvider.GetRequiredService<IReadService>().GetEntities();
var writeService = writeScope.ServiceProvider.GetRequiredService<IWriteService>();
foreach (Entity entity in entities)
{
writeService.DoSomething(entity);
}
}
Like that, there are effevtively two different instances of the DbContext being used.
Another possible solution would be to make sure, that the read operation has terminated before starting the iteration. That is not very pratical in my case because there could be a lot of results that would all need to be loaded into memory for the operation which I tried to avoid by using a Queryable in the first place.
I did this in Excel 2000.
This statement should be: ms = Round(temp - Int(temp), 3) * 1000
You need to create a custom format for the result cell of [h]:mm:ss.000
An array isn't immutable by nature; you can't make it constant.
The nearest you can get is:
var letter_goodness = [...]float32 {.0817, .0149, .0278, .0425, .1270, .0223, .0202, .0609, .0697, .0015, .0077, .0402, .0241, .0675, .0751, .0193, .0009, .0599, .0633, .0906, .0276, .0098, .0236, .0015, .0197, .0007 }
Note the [...]
instead of []
: it ensures you get a (fixed size) array instead of a slice. So the values aren't fixed but the size is.
If you use the Connect to Database under tools in Visual Studio, you will be able to add the name of the Server and database and test the connection. Upon success you can copy the string from the bottom of the dialog.
Although not as straightforward as isinstance(x, list)
one could use as well:
this_is_a_list=[1,2,3]
if type(this_is_a_list) == type([]):
print("This is a list!")
and I kind of like the simple cleverness of that
If you don't want the $.ajax()
function to return immediately, set the async
option to false
:
$(".my_link").click(
function(){
$.ajax({
url: $(this).attr('href'),
type: 'GET',
async: false,
cache: false,
timeout: 30000,
fail: function(){
return true;
},
done: function(msg){
if (parseFloat(msg)){
return false;
} else {
return true;
}
}
});
});
But, I would note that this would be counter to the point of AJAX. Also, you should be handling the response in the fail
and done
functions. Those functions will only be called when the response is received from the server.
Add a span
with the style="float: right"
element inside the h1
element. So you can add a "goto top of the page" link, with a unicode arrow link button.
<h1 id="myAnchor">Headline Text
<span style="float: right"><a href="#top" aria-hidden="true">?</a></span>
</h1>
Most likely you have several adb version on your computer. You start adb server using one version and then trying to connect to this server using another version. For example - Genymotion has it's own adb and if you start Genymotion emulator and then try to use adb from Android SDK most likely you will have such error (the latest Genymotion which is 2.7.2 has adb version 1.0.32 while the latest Android SDK has adb version 1.0.36).
You can try to implement Cloneable
and use the clone()
method; however, if you use the clone method you should - by standard - ALWAYS override Object
's public Object clone()
method.
CMake (Cross platform make) is a build system generator. It doesn't build your source, instead, generates what a build system needs: the build scripts. Doing so you don't need to write or maintain platform specific build files. CMake uses relatively high level CMake language which usually written in CMakeLists.txt
files. Your general workflow when consuming third party libraries usually boils down the following commands:
cmake -S thelibrary -B build
cmake --build build
cmake --install build
The first line known as configuration step, this generates the build files on your system. -S
(ource) is the library source, and -B
(uild) folder. CMake falls back to generate build according to your system. it will be MSBuild on Windows, GNU Makefiles on Linux. You can specify the build using -G
(enerator) paramater, like:
cmake -G Ninja -S libSource -B build
end of the this step, generates build scripts, like Makefile, *.sln files etc. on build directory.
The second line invokes the actual build command, it's like invoking make
on the build folder.
The third line install the library. If you're on Windows, you can quickly open generated project by, cmake --open build
.
Now you can use the installed library on your project with configured by CMake, writing your own CMakeLists.txt file. To do so, you'll need to create a your target and find the package you installed using find_package
command, which will export the library target names, and link them against your own target.
Suppose we have this dummy collection:
{ "_id" : ObjectId("5ea53fedaa79db20d4e14284"), "item" : "planner", "qty" : 75 }
simply use:
db.inventory.deleteOne({ _id: ObjectId("5ea53fedaa79db20d4e14284") })
it will be deleted with this as a response:
{ "acknowledged" : true, "deletedCount" : 1 }
Thats it.
I have observed that -
I have prepared a method that works like this, you can replace the value of the variable ftpurl with the parameter TargetDestinationPath. I had tested this method on winforms application :
private void UploadProfileImage(string TargetFileName, string TargetDestinationPath, string FiletoUpload)
{
//Get the Image Destination path
string imageName = TargetFileName; //you can comment this
string imgPath = TargetDestinationPath;
string ftpurl = "ftp://downloads.abc.com/downloads.abc.com/MobileApps/SystemImages/ProfileImages/" + imgPath;
string ftpusername = krayknot_DAL.clsGlobal.FTPUsername;
string ftppassword = krayknot_DAL.clsGlobal.FTPPassword;
string fileurl = FiletoUpload;
FtpWebRequest ftpClient = (FtpWebRequest)FtpWebRequest.Create(ftpurl);
ftpClient.Credentials = new System.Net.NetworkCredential(ftpusername, ftppassword);
ftpClient.Method = System.Net.WebRequestMethods.Ftp.UploadFile;
ftpClient.UseBinary = true;
ftpClient.KeepAlive = true;
System.IO.FileInfo fi = new System.IO.FileInfo(fileurl);
ftpClient.ContentLength = fi.Length;
byte[] buffer = new byte[4097];
int bytes = 0;
int total_bytes = (int)fi.Length;
System.IO.FileStream fs = fi.OpenRead();
System.IO.Stream rs = ftpClient.GetRequestStream();
while (total_bytes > 0)
{
bytes = fs.Read(buffer, 0, buffer.Length);
rs.Write(buffer, 0, bytes);
total_bytes = total_bytes - bytes;
}
//fs.Flush();
fs.Close();
rs.Close();
FtpWebResponse uploadResponse = (FtpWebResponse)ftpClient.GetResponse();
string value = uploadResponse.StatusDescription;
uploadResponse.Close();
}
Let me know in case of any issue, or here is one more link that can help you:

The accepted answer here does not work if you have inline scripts in your document. To avoid this you can use the following to only target <script>
tags with a [src]
attribute.
/**
* Current Script Path
*
* Get the dir path to the currently executing script file
* which is always the last one in the scripts array with
* an [src] attr
*/
var currentScriptPath = function () {
var scripts = document.querySelectorAll( 'script[src]' );
var currentScript = scripts[ scripts.length - 1 ].src;
var currentScriptChunks = currentScript.split( '/' );
var currentScriptFile = currentScriptChunks[ currentScriptChunks.length - 1 ];
return currentScript.replace( currentScriptFile, '' );
}
This effectively captures the last external .js file, solving some issues I encountered with inline JS templates.
Function adjusted to execute without warnings:
function url(){
if(isset($_SERVER['HTTPS'])){
$protocol = ($_SERVER['HTTPS'] && $_SERVER['HTTPS'] != "off") ? "https" : "http";
}
else{
$protocol = 'http';
}
return $protocol . "://" . $_SERVER['HTTP_HOST'] . $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'];
}
For lollipop and above you can use elevation.
For older versions:
Here is a lazy hack from: http://odedhb.blogspot.com/2013/05/android-layout-shadow-without-9-patch.html
(toast_frame does not work on KitKat, shadow was removed from toasts)
just use:
android:background="@android:drawable/toast_frame"
or:
android:background="@android:drawable/dialog_frame"
as a background
examples:
<TextView
android:layout_width="fill_parent"
android:text="I am a simple textview with a shadow"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"
android:textSize="18sp"
android:padding="16dp"
android:textColor="#fff"
android:background="@android:drawable/toast_frame"
/>
and with different bg color:
<LinearLayout
android:layout_height="64dp"
android:layout_width="fill_parent"
android:gravity="center"
android:background="@android:drawable/toast_frame"
android:padding="4dp"
>
<Button
android:layout_width="fill_parent"
android:layout_height="fill_parent"
android:text="Button shadow"
android:background="#33b5e5"
android:textSize="24sp"
android:textStyle="bold"
android:textColor="#fff"
android:layout_gravity="center|bottom"
/>
</LinearLayout>
While working with the orientationchange
event, I needed a timeout to get the correct dimensions of the elements in the page, but matchMedia worked fine. My final code:
var matchMedia = window.msMatchMedia || window.MozMatchMedia || window.WebkitMatchMedia || window.matchMedia;
if (typeof(matchMedia) !== 'undefined') {
// use matchMedia function to detect orientationchange
window.matchMedia('(orientation: portrait)').addListener(function() {
// your code ...
});
} else {
// use orientationchange event with timeout (fires to early)
$(window).on('orientationchange', function() {
window.setTimeout(function() {
// your code ...
}, 300)
});
}
You can use map
:
List<String> names =
personList.stream()
.map(Person::getName)
.collect(Collectors.toList());
EDIT :
In order to combine the Lists of friend names, you need to use flatMap
:
List<String> friendNames =
personList.stream()
.flatMap(e->e.getFriends().stream())
.collect(Collectors.toList());
It's often sufficient to use sibling's or parent's brush for the purpose, and that's easily available in wpf via retrieving their Foreground or Background property.
ref: Control.Background
This problem occurs due to missing import of FormsModule,ReactiveFormsModule .I also came with same problem. My case was diff. as i was working with modules.So i missed above imports in my parent modules though i had imported it into child modules,it wasn't working.
Then i imported it into my parent modules as below, and it worked!
import { ReactiveFormsModule,FormsModule } from '@angular/forms';
import { AlertModule } from 'ngx-bootstrap';
@NgModule({
imports: [
CommonModule,
FormsModule,
ReactiveFormsModule,
],
declarations: [MyComponent]
})
As the instruction said "might need gpg2"
In mac, you can try install it with homebrew
$ brew install gpg2
Set CSS display property to none.
document.getElementById("test").style.display = "none";
Also, you do not need javascript:
for the onclick
attribute.
<input type="image" src="../images/btnFind.png" id="find" name="find"
onclick="hide();" />
Finally, make sure you do not have multiple elements with the same ID.
If your form goes nowhere, Phil suggested that you should prevent submission of the form. Simply return false
in the onsubmit handler.
<form method="post" id="test" onsubmit="return false;">
If you want the form to post, but hide the div on subsequent page load, you will have to use server-side code to hide the element:
<script type="text/javascript">
function hide() {
document.getElementById("test").style.display = "none";
}
window.onload = function() {
// if form was submitted, PHP will print the below,
// which runs function hide() on page load
<?= ($_POST['ampid'] != '') ? 'hide();' : '' ?>
}
</script>
How about the good old Command-Q?
I did a simple class which u can use to make custom ProgressBar dialog. Actually it has 2 default layouts: - First dialog with no panel with progress bar and animated text centered over it - Second normal dialog with panel, progress bar, title and msg
It is just a class, so not a customizable library which u can import in your project, so you need to copy it and change it how you want. It is a DialogFragment class, but you can use it inside an activity as a normal fragment just like you do with classic fragment by using FragmentManager.
public class ProgressBarDialog extends DialogFragment {

The class has a progress bar with no dialog and custom text over it. The text can have 2 animations:
Fade In -> Fade Out animation: digits will fade out like a sequentially from left to right. At end of text will restart from left.
Rotate Animation: same sequential behavior but the digits rotate on themself one by one instead of fading out.
Other way is a Progress Bar with a dialog (Title + Message)
This is just a sample code, but it may help you get on your way:
Public Sub testIt()
Workbooks("Workbook2").Activate
ActiveWorkbook.Sheets("Sheet2").Activate
ActiveSheet.Range("B3").Select
ActiveCell.EntireRow.Insert
End Sub
I am assuming that you can open the book (called Workbook2
in the example).
I think (but I'm not sure) you can squash all this in a single line of code:
Workbooks("Workbook2").Sheets("Sheet2").Range("B3").EntireRow.Insert
This way you won't need to activate the workbook (or sheet or cell)... Obviously, the book has to be open.
It is more flexible to use curl
instead of fopen
and file_get_content
for opening a webpage.
How about this
for (int i = 0; i < str.length(); i++) {
System.out.println(str.substring(i, i + 1));
}
Your PersonSheets has a property int Id
, Id
isn't in the post, so modelbinding fails. Make Id nullable (int?) or send atleast Id = 0 with the POst .
getApplicationContext() - Returns the context for all activities running in application.
getBaseContext() - If you want to access Context from another context within application you can access.
getContext() - Returns the context view only current running activity.
In my case I was having type='submit'
so when I was submitting the form the page was reloading before the ajax hit going so a simple solution was to have type="button"
. If you don't specify a type it's submit
by default so you've gotta specify type="button"
type='submit'
=> type='button'
OR
No type => type='button'
Or if you don't want to change the type or submit the form on click you can e.preventDefault()
as the very first thing e.
<button>Submit</button>
<script>
$( "button" ).click(function( event ) {
event.preventDefault();
// AJAX Call here
});
</script>
In case anyone's interested in the Method syntax, if you have a navigation property, it's way easy:
db.Services.Where(s=>s.ServiceAssignment.LocationId == 1);
If you don't, unless there's some Join()
override I'm unaware of, I think it looks pretty gnarly (and I'm a Method syntax purist):
db.Services.Join(db.ServiceAssignments,
s => s.Id,
sa => sa.ServiceId,
(s, sa) => new {service = s, asgnmt = sa})
.Where(ssa => ssa.asgnmt.LocationId == 1)
.Select(ssa => ssa.service);

Use oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver, not oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver. You do not need to register it if the driver jar file is in the "WEB-INF\lib" directory, if you are using Tomcat. Save this as test.jsp and put it in your web directory, and redeploy your web app folder in Tomcat manager:

There are three approaches
Use SublimeCodeIntel plug-in
Use CTags plug-in
Generate .sublime-completion file manually
Approaches are described in detail in this blog post (of mine): http://opensourcehacker.com/2013/03/04/javascript-autocompletions-and-having-one-for-sublime-text-2/
Unbelievable, but on httpd 2.2 on centos 6.4 this works.
Export env vars in /etc/sysconfig/httpd
export mydocroot=/var/www/html
Then simply do this...
<VirtualHost *:80>
DocumentRoot ${mydocroot}
</VirtualHost>
Then finally....
service httpd restart;
if you want to get the index values, you can simply do:
dataframe.index
this will output a pandas.core.index
A concise version using the "rename"
command:
find my_root_dir -depth -exec rename 's/(.*)\/([^\/]*)/$1\/\L$2/' {} \;
This avoids problems with directories being renamed before files and trying to move files into non-existing directories (e.g. "A/A"
into "a/a"
).
Or, a more verbose version without using "rename"
.
for SRC in `find my_root_dir -depth`
do
DST=`dirname "${SRC}"`/`basename "${SRC}" | tr '[A-Z]' '[a-z]'`
if [ "${SRC}" != "${DST}" ]
then
[ ! -e "${DST}" ] && mv -T "${SRC}" "${DST}" || echo "${SRC} was not renamed"
fi
done
The latter allows more flexibility with the move command (for example, "svn mv"
).

Side note here: it would be best to create some kind of interface called AdapterInterface
for example with getResponse()
method and let the class above implement it. Then you can always swap this implementation with another adapter of your like, without any side effects to your application.
Usually there's a problem with cURL in PHP under the Windows operating system. While trying to connect to a https protected endpoint, you will get an error telling you that certificate verify failed
.
What most people do here is to tell the cURL library to simply ignore certificate errors and continue (curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYPEER, false);
). As this will make your code work, you introduce huge security hole and enable malicious users to perform various attacks on your app like Man In The Middle attack or such.
Never, ever do that. Instead, you simply need to modify your php.ini
and tell PHP where your CA Certificate
file is to let it verify certificates correctly:
; modify the absolute path to the cacert.pem file
curl.cainfo=c:\php\cacert.pem
The latest cacert.pem
can be downloaded from the Internet or extracted from your favorite browser. When changing any php.ini
related settings remember to restart your webserver.
The fragment identifier (also known as: Fragment IDs, Anchor Identifiers, Named Anchors) introduced by a hash mark # is the optional last part of a URL for a document. It is typically used to identify a portion of that document.
<a href="http://www.someuri.com/page#fragment">Link to fragment identifier</a>
Syntax for URIs also allows an optional query part introduced by a question mark ?. In URIs with a query and a fragment the fragment follows the query.
<a href="http://www.someuri.com/page?query=1#fragment">Link to fragment with a query</a>
When a Web browser requests a resource from a Web server, the agent sends the URI to the server, but does not send the fragment. Instead, the agent waits for the server to send the resource, and then the agent (Web browser) processes the resource according to the document type and fragment value.
Named Anchors <a name="fragment">
are deprecated in XHTML 1.0, the ID attribute is the suggested replacement. <div id="fragment"></div>

You should use the setString()
method to set the userID
. This both ensures that the statement is formatted properly, and prevents SQL injection
:
statement =con.prepareStatement("SELECT * from employee WHERE userID = ?");
statement.setString(1, userID);

. In XP, the temporary directory was set per-user as Local Settings\Temp.
If you change your TEMP environment variable to C:\temp
, then you get the same when you run :
System.out.println(System.getProperty("java.io.tmpdir"));
This version works on ios and also fixes standard drag-to-select on windows chrome
var srcEvent = null;
$("input[type=text],input[type=number]")
.mousedown(function (event) {
srcEvent = event;
})
.mouseup(function (event) {
var delta = Math.abs(event.clientX - srcEvent.clientX)
+ Math.abs(event.clientY - srcEvent.clientY);
var threshold = 2;
if (delta <= threshold) {
try {
// ios likes this but windows-chrome does not on number fields
$(this)[0].selectionStart = 0;
$(this)[0].selectionEnd = 1000;
} catch (e) {
// windows-chrome likes this
$(this).select();
}
}
});
This method extends the other solutions by allowing for binning. For example, bin=None
(default) won't bin x
and will compute an empirical probability for each element of x
, while bin=256
chunks x
into 256 bins before computing the empirical probabilities.
import numpy as np
def entropy(x, bins=None):
N = x.shape[0]
if bins is None:
counts = np.bincount(x)
else:
counts = np.histogram(x, bins=bins)[0] # 0th idx is counts
p = counts[np.nonzero(counts)]/N # avoids log(0)
H = -np.dot( p, np.log2(p) )
return H
I have a MySQL table:
CREATE TABLE `content_html` (
`id` int(11) NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT,
`id_box_elements` int(11) DEFAULT NULL,
`id_router` int(11) DEFAULT NULL,
`content` mediumtext COLLATE utf8_czech_ci NOT NULL,
PRIMARY KEY (`id`),
UNIQUE KEY `id_box_elements` (`id_box_elements`,`id_router`)
);
and the UNIQUE KEY works just as expected, it allows multiple NULL rows of id_box_elements and id_router.
I am running MySQL 5.1.42, so probably there was some update on the issue discussed above. Fortunately it works and hopefully it will stay that way.
The Java runtime you try to execute your program with is an earlier version than Java 7 which was the target you compile your program for.
For Ubuntu use
apt-get install openjdk-7-jdk
to get Java 7 as default. You may have to uninstall openjdk-6 first.
Constructor is special function used to initialise the data member, where the methods are functions to perform specific task.
Constructor name is the same name as the class name, where the method name may or may not or be class name.
Constructor does not allow any return type, where methods allow return type.
The decode
method of unicode strings really doesn't have any applications at all (unless you have some non-text data in a unicode string for some reason -- see below). It is mainly there for historical reasons, i think. In Python 3 it is completely gone.
unicode().decode()
will perform an implicit encoding of s
using the default (ascii) codec. Verify this like so:
>>> s = u'ö'
>>> s.decode()
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>
UnicodeEncodeError: 'ascii' codec can't encode character u'\xf6' in position 0:
ordinal not in range(128)
>>> s.encode('ascii')
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>
UnicodeEncodeError: 'ascii' codec can't encode character u'\xf6' in position 0:
ordinal not in range(128)
The error messages are exactly the same.
For str().encode()
it's the other way around -- it attempts an implicit decoding of s
with the default encoding:
>>> s = 'ö'
>>> s.decode('utf-8')
u'\xf6'
>>> s.encode()
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>
UnicodeDecodeError: 'ascii' codec can't decode byte 0xc3 in position 0:
ordinal not in range(128)
Used like this, str().encode()
is also superfluous.
But there is another application of the latter method that is useful: there are encodings that have nothing to do with character sets, and thus can be applied to 8-bit strings in a meaningful way:
>>> s.encode('zip')
'x\x9c;\xbc\r\x00\x02>\x01z'
You are right, though: the ambiguous usage of "encoding" for both these applications is... awkard. Again, with separate byte
and string
types in Python 3, this is no longer an issue.
When I trying to my login (which is a bootstrap modal), I used the @sessionattributes annotation. But problem was when the view is a redirect ("redirect:/home"), values I entered to session shows in the url. Some Internet sources suggest to follow http://docs.spring.io/spring/docs/4.3.x/spring-framework-reference/htmlsingle/#mvc-redirecting But I used the HttpSession instead. This session will be there until you close the browsers. Here is sample code
@RequestMapping(value = "/login")
@ResponseBody
public BooleanResponse login(HttpSession session,HttpServletRequest request){
//HttpServletRequest used to take data to the controller
String username = request.getParameter("username");
String password = request.getParameter("password");
//Here you set your values to the session
session.setAttribute("username", username);
session.setAttribute("email", email);
//your code goes here
}
You don't change specific thing on view side.
<c:out value="${username}"></c:out>
<c:out value="${email}"></c:out>
After login add above codes to anyplace in you web site. If session correctly set, you will see the values there. Make sure you correctly added the jstl tags and El- expressions (Here is link to set jstl tags https://menukablog.wordpress.com/2016/05/10/add-jstl-tab-library-to-you-project-correctly/)

HTML input number type allows "e/E" because "e" stands for exponential which is a numeric symbol.
Example 200000 can also be written as 2e5. I hope this helps thank you for the question.
A simple way to make it work is to run your script from the parent directory using python's -m
flag, e.g. python -m packagename.scriptname
. Obviously in this situation you need an __init__.py
file to turn your directory into a package.
2's complement is very useful for finding the value of a binary, however I thought of a much more concise way of solving such a problem(never seen anyone else publish it):
take a binary, for example: 1101 which is [assuming that space "1" is the sign] equal to -3.
using 2's complement we would do this...flip 1101 to 0010...add 0001 + 0010 ===> gives us 0011. 0011 in positive binary = 3. therefore 1101 = -3!
What I realized:
instead of all the flipping and adding, you can just do the basic method for solving for a positive binary(lets say 0101) is (23 * 0) + (22 * 1) + (21 * 0) + (20 * 1) = 5.
Do exactly the same concept with a negative!(with a small twist)
take 1101, for example:
for the first number instead of 23 * 1 = 8 , do -(23 * 1) = -8.
then continue as usual, doing -8 + (22 * 1) + (21 * 0) + (20 * 1) = -3
@K Scott Piel wrote a great answer here, but I want to add one important point.
Note that the stdout
stream is usually line-buffered, so to ensure the output is actually printed and not just left sitting in the buffer waiting to be written you must flush the buffer by either ending your printf
statement with a \n
Ex:
printf("hello world\n");
or
printf("hello world");
printf("\n");
or similar, OR you must call fflush(stdout);
after your printf
call.
Ex:
printf("hello world");
fflush(stdout);
Read more here: Why does printf not flush after the call unless a newline is in the format string?
run it under a different user. assuming this is a windows box, create a user account for scheduled tasks. run it as that user. The command prompt will only show for the user currently logged in.
Let's say you're running MacOS and you have a binary you trust and would like to make available across your system but don't necessarily want the directory in which the binary is to be added to your PATH, you can opt to copy/move the binary to /usr/local/bin
, which should already be in your PATH. This will make the binary executable like any other binary you may already have access to in your terminal.
it will print log messages in your developer console (firebug/webkit dev tools/ie dev tools)
You need some sort of Inter Process Communication. Use a pipe or a shared buffer.
Throwing exceptions in a constructor is not bad practice. In fact, it is the only reasonable way for a constructor to indicate that there is a problem; e.g. that the parameters are invalid.
I also think that throwing checked exceptions can be OK1, assuming that the checked exception is 1) declared, 2) specific to the problem you are reporting, and 3) it is reasonable to expect the caller to deal with a checked exception for this2.
However explicitly declaring or throwing java.lang.Exception
is almost always bad practice.
You should pick an exception class that matches the exceptional condition that has occurred. If you throw Exception
it is difficult for the caller to separate this exception from any number of other possible declared and undeclared exceptions. This makes error recovery difficult, and if the caller chooses to propagate the Exception, the problem just spreads.
1 - Some people may disagree, but IMO there is no substantive difference between this case and the case of throwing exceptions in methods. The standard checked vs unchecked advice applies equally to both cases.
2 - For example, the existing FileInputStream
constructors will throw FileNotFoundException
if you try to open a file that does not exist. Assuming that it is reasonable for FileNotFoundException
to be a checked exception3, then the constructor is the most appropriate place for that exception to be thrown. If we threw the FileNotFoundException
the first time that (say) a read
or write
call was made, that is liable to make application logic more complicated.
3 - Given that this is one of the motivating examples for checked exceptions, if you don't accept this you are basically saying that all exceptions should be unchecked. That is not practical ... if you are going to use Java.
Someone suggested using assert
for checking arguments. The problem with this is that checking of assert
assertions can be turned on and off via a JVM command-line setting. Using assertions to check internal invariants is OK, but using them to implement argument checking that is specified in your javadoc is not a good idea ... because it means your method will only strictly implement the specification when assertion checking is enabled.
The second problem with assert
is that if an assertion fails, then AssertionError
will be thrown, and received wisdom is that it is a bad idea to attempt to catch Error
and any of its subtypes.
It's not immediately obvious from the documentation why the following does not work:
<span style={font-size: 1.7} class="glyphicon glyphicon-remove-sign"></span>
But when doing it entirely inline:
"em"
class
is className
The correct way looks like this:
<span style={{fontSize: 1.7 + "em"}} className="glyphicon glyphicon-remove-sign"></span>

JavaScript has both strict and type-converting equality comparison. For
strict
equality the objects being compared must have the same type and:
- Two strings are strictly equal when they have the same sequence of characters, same length, and same characters in corresponding positions.
- Two numbers are strictly equal when they are numerically equal (have the same number value).
NaN
is not equal to anything, includingNaN
. Positive and negative zeros are equal to one another.- Two Boolean operands are strictly equal if both are true or both are false.
- Two objects are strictly equal if they refer to the same

Here's an example:
char myChar = '|';
string myString = "||";
Chars are delimited by single quotes, and strings by double quotes.
The good news is C# switch statements work with strings!
switch (mytoken)
{
case "==":
//Something here.
break;
default:
//Handle when no token is found.

I believe you want to use CHARINDEX
. You can read about it here.
simply use delete
, but be aware that you should read fully what the effects are of using this:
delete object.index; //true
object.index; //undefined
but if I was to use like so:
var x = 1; //1
delete x; //false
x; //1
but if you do wish to delete variables in the global namespace, you can use it's global object such as window
, or using this
in the outermost scope i.e
var a = 'b';
delete a; //false
delete window.a; //true
delete this.a; //true
http://perfectionkills.com/understanding-delete/
another fact is that using delete on an array will not remove the index but only set the value to undefined, meaning in certain control structures such as for loops, you will still iterate over that entity, when it comes to array's you should use splice
which is a prototype of the array object.
Example Array:
var myCars=new Array();
myCars[0]="Saab";
myCars[1]="Volvo";
myCars[2]="BMW";
if I was to do:
delete myCars[1];
the resulting array would be:
["Saab", undefined, "BMW"]
but using splice like so:
myCars.splice(1,1);
would result in:
["Saab", "BMW"]

Note that in .NET 4.0 there are (supposedly) iterator-based (rather than array-based) file functions built in:
foreach (string file in Directory.EnumerateFiles(path, "*.*", SearchOption.AllDirectories))
{
Console.WriteLine(file);
}
At the moment I'd use something like below; the inbuilt recursive method breaks too easily if you don't have access to a single sub-dir...; the Queue<string>
usage avoids too much call-stack recursion, and the iterator block avoids us having a huge array.
static void Main() {
foreach (string file in GetFiles(SOME_PATH)) {
Console.WriteLine(file);
}
}
static IEnumerable<string> GetFiles(string path) {
Queue<string> queue = new Queue<string>();
queue.Enqueue(path);
while (queue.Count > 0) {
path = queue.Dequeue();
try {
foreach (string subDir in Directory.GetDirectories(path)) {
queue.Enqueue(subDir);
}
}
catch(Exception ex) {
Console.Error.WriteLine(ex);
}
string[] files = null;
try {
files = Directory.GetFiles(path);
}
catch (Exception ex) {
Console.Error.WriteLine(ex);
}
if (files != null) {
for(int i = 0 ; i < files.Length ; i++) {
yield return files[i];
}
}
}
}

(Edit: Adding JSON from question for clarity)
{
"agent": {
"name": "Agent Name",
"version": 1
},
"username": "Username",
"password": "User Password",
"token": "xxxxxx"
}
With two classes representing the JSON-Structure you posted that may look like this:
public class Credentials
{
[JsonProperty("agent")]
public Agent Agent { get; set; }
[JsonProperty("username")]
public string Username { get; set; }
[JsonProperty("password")]
public string Password { get; set; }
[JsonProperty("token")]
public string Token { get; set; }
}
public class Agent
{
[JsonProperty("name")]
public string Name { get; set; }
[JsonProperty("version")]
public int Version { get; set; }
}
you could have a method like this, which would do your POST request:
var payload = new Credentials {
Agent = new Agent {
Name = "Agent Name",
Version = 1
},
Username = "Username",
Password = "User Password",
Token = "xxxxx"
};
// Serialize our concrete class into a JSON String
var stringPayload = await Task.Run(() => JsonConvert.SerializeObject(payload));
// Wrap our JSON inside a StringContent which then can be used by the HttpClient class
var httpContent = new StringContent(stringPayload, Encoding.UTF8, "application/json");
using (var httpClient = new HttpClient()) {
// Do the actual request and await the response
var httpResponse = await httpClient.PostAsync("http://localhost/api/path", httpContent);
// If the response contains content we want to read it!
if (httpResponse.Content != null) {
var responseContent = await httpResponse.Content.ReadAsStringAsync();
// From here on you could deserialize the ResponseContent back again to a concrete C# type using Json.Net
}
}
If you mean using a literal, you simply have to create a binary string:
insert into Files (FileId, FileData) values (1, 0x010203040506)
And you will have a record with a six byte value for the FileData field.
You indicate in the comments that you want to just specify the file name, which you can't do with SQL Server 2000 (or any other version that I am aware of).
You would need a CLR stored procedure to do this in SQL Server 2005/2008 or an extended stored procedure (but I'd avoid that at all costs unless you have to) which takes the filename and then inserts the data (or returns the byte string, but that can possibly be quite long).
In regards to the question of only being able to get data from a SP/query, I would say the answer is yes, because if you give SQL Server the ability to read files from the file system, what do you do when you aren't connected through Windows Authentication, what user is used to determine the rights? If you are running the service as an admin (God forbid) then you can have an elevation of rights which shouldn't be allowed.
I have had a lot of difficulty with this as I have a custom spinner, if I setBackground then the Drawable would stretch. My solution to this was to add a drawable to the right of the Spinner TextView. Heres a code snippet from my Custom Spinner. The trick is to Override getView and customize the Textview as you wish.
public class NoTextSpinnerArrayAdapter extends ArrayAdapter<String> {
private String text = "0";
public NoTextSpinnerArrayAdapter(Context context, int textViewResourceId, List<String> objects) {
super(context, textViewResourceId, objects);
}
public void updateText(String text){
this.text = text;
notifyDataSetChanged();
}
public String getText(){
return text;
}
@NonNull
public View getView(int position, View convertView, @NonNull ViewGroup parent) {
View view = super.getView(position, convertView, parent);
TextView textView = view.findViewById(android.R.id.text1);
textView.setCompoundDrawablePadding(16);
textView.setCompoundDrawablesWithIntrinsicBounds(0, 0, R.drawable.ic_menu_white_24dp, 0);
textView.setGravity(Gravity.END);
textView.setText(text);
return view;
}
}
You also need to set the Spinner background to transparent:
<lifeunlocked.valueinvestingcheatsheet.views.SelectAgainSpinner
android:id="@+id/saved_tickers_spinner"
android:background="@android:color/transparent"
android:layout_width="60dp"
android:layout_height="match_parent"
tools:layout_editor_absoluteX="248dp"
tools:layout_editor_absoluteY="16dp" />
and my custom spinner if you want it....
public class SelectAgainSpinner extends android.support.v7.widget.AppCompatSpinner {
public SelectAgainSpinner(Context context) {
super(context);
}
public SelectAgainSpinner(Context context, AttributeSet attrs) {
super(context, attrs);
}
public SelectAgainSpinner(Context context, AttributeSet attrs, int defStyle) {
super(context, attrs, defStyle);
}
@Override
public void setPopupBackgroundDrawable(Drawable background) {
super.setPopupBackgroundDrawable(background);
}
@Override
public void setSelection(int position, boolean animate) {
boolean sameSelected = position == getSelectedItemPosition();
super.setSelection(position, animate);
if (sameSelected) {
// Spinner does not call the OnItemSelectedListener if the same item is selected, so do it manually now
if (getOnItemSelectedListener() != null) {
getOnItemSelectedListener().onItemSelected(this, getSelectedView(), position, getSelectedItemId());
}
}
}
@Override
public void setSelection(int position) {
boolean sameSelected = position == getSelectedItemPosition();
super.setSelection(position);
if (sameSelected) {
// Spinner does not call the OnItemSelectedListener if the same item is selected, so do it manually now
if (getOnItemSelectedListener() != null) {
getOnItemSelectedListener().onItemSelected(this, getSelectedView(), position, getSelectedItemId());
}
}
}
}
You can use deparse
and substitute
to get the name of a function argument:
myfunc <- function(v1) {
deparse(substitute(v1))
}
myfunc(foo)
[1] "foo"
I know that this is old post but someone can help:
function POST($index, $default=NULL){
if(isset($_POST[$index]))
{
if(!empty(trim($_POST[$index])))
return $_POST[$index];
}
return $default;
}
This code above are my basic POST function what I use anywhere. Here you can put filters, regular expressions, etc. Is faster and clean. My advanced POST function is more complicate to accept and check arrays, string type, default values etc. Let's your imagination work here.
You easy can check username like this:
$username = POST("username");
if($username!==null){
echo "{$username} is in the house.";
}
Also I added $default
string that you can define some default value if POST is not active or content not exists.
echo "<h1>".POST("title", "Stack Overflow")."</h1>";
Play with it.
use this
<body onload = "if (location.search.length < 1){window.location.reload()}">
You will not be able to retrieve a plain text password from wordpress.
Wordpress use a 1 way encryption to store the passwords using a variation of md5. There is no way to reverse this.

Only a teacher would ask you to do something silly like this. You could provide an expected answer. Or a unique solution, while the rest of the class will be (yawn) the same...

The solution is simple. Use this to set yourself apart from obvious choices.
function createQuestionPanel() {
var element = document.createElement("Input");
element.setAttribute("type", "button");
element.setAttribute("value", "button");
element.setAttribute("name", "button");

I tried Ninh Pham's solution but it didn't work for me until I tweaked it - see below. Remove contentType and don't encode your json data
$.fn.postJSON = function(url, data) {
return $.ajax({
type: 'POST',
url: url,
data: data,
dataType: 'json'
});
Assuming you are using debian linux (I'm using Linux mint 12, problem was on Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS server I ssh'ed into.)
I suggest taking @dkamins advice and making sure you have mcrypt installed and active on your php5 install. Use "sudo apt-get install php5-mcrypt" to install. My notes below.
Using PHP version PHP Version 5.3.10-1ubuntu3.4
, if you open phpinfo() as suggested by @John Conde, which you do by creating test file on web server (e.g. create status page testphp.php with just the contents "" anywhere accessible on the server via browser)
I found no presence of enabled or disabled status on the status page when opened in browser. When I then opened the php.ini file, mentioned by @Anthony Forloney, thinking to uncomment ;extension=php_mcrypt.dll to extension=php_mcrypt.dll
I toggled that back and forth and restarted Apache (I'm running Apache2 and you can restart in my setup with sudo /etc/init.d/apache2 restart
or when you are in that directory just sudo restart
I believe)
with change and without change but all no go. I took @dkamins advice and went to install the package with "sudo apt-get install php5-mcrypt" and then restarted apache as above. Then my error was gone and my application worked fine.
Object is a collection of methods and variables.You can't print the variables in object by just cout operation . if you want to show the things inside the object you have to declare either a getter or a display text method in class.
ex
#include <iostream>
using namespace std;
class mystruct
{
private:
int m_a;
float m_b;
public:
mystruct(int x, float y)
{
m_a = x;
m_b = y;
}
public:
void getm_aAndm_b()
{
cout<<m_a<<endl;
cout<<m_b<<endl;
}
};
int main()
{
mystruct m = mystruct(5,3.14);
cout << "my structure " << endl;
m.getm_aAndm_b();
return 0;
}
Not that this is just a one way of doing it
This is how I do it with an array Func<>:
var tasks = new Func<Task>[]
{
() => myAsyncWork1(),
() => myAsyncWork2(),
() => myAsyncWork3()
};
await Task.WhenAll(tasks.Select(task => task()).ToArray()); //Async
Task.WaitAll(tasks.Select(task => task()).ToArray()); //Or use WaitAll for Sync

For me, i clone a project from gitlab, there is table of contents:
TradeClient/TradeClient/app/...
then i encounter this problem, i solve the problem by below method:
hash = {"apple" => "fruit", "carrot" => "vegetable"}
array = hash.keys #=> ["apple", "carrot"]
it's that simple
Just to add to the other answers, the documentation gives this explanation:
KEY
is normally a synonym forINDEX
. The key attributePRIMARY KEY
can also be specified as justKEY
when given in a column definition. This was implemented for compatibility with other database systems.A
UNIQUE
index creates a constraint such that all values in the index must be distinct. An error occurs if you try to add a new row with a key value that matches an existing row. For all engines, aUNIQUE
index permits multipleNULL
values for columns that can containNULL
.A
PRIMARY KEY
is a unique index where all key columns must be defined asNOT NULL
. If they are not explicitly declared asNOT NULL
, MySQL declares them so implicitly (and silently). A table can have only onePRIMARY KEY
. The name of aPRIMARY KEY
is alwaysPRIMARY
, which thus cannot be used as the name for any other kind of index.
declare @LkeVal as Varchar(100)
declare @LkeSelect Varchar(100)
Set @LkeSelect = (select top 1 <column> from <table> where <column> = 'value')
Set @LkeVal = '%' + @LkeSelect
select * from <table2> where <column2> like(''+@LkeVal+'');
As per my current condition, I follow this approach. I want to give identity to a primary table after data inserted via script.
As I want to append identity, so it always start from 1 to End of record count that I want.
--first drop column and add with identity
ALTER TABLE dbo.tblProductPriceList drop column ID
ALTER TABLE dbo.tblProductPriceList add ID INT IDENTITY(1,1)
--then add primary key to that column (exist option you can ignore)
IF NOT EXISTS (SELECT * FROM sys.key_constraints WHERE object_id = OBJECT_ID(N'[dbo].[PK_tblProductPriceList]') AND parent_object_id = OBJECT_ID(N'[dbo].[tblProductPriceList]'))
ALTER TABLE [tblProductPriceList] ADD PRIMARY KEY (id)
GO
This will create the same primary key column with identity
I used this links : https://blog.sqlauthority.com/2014/10/11/sql-server-add-auto-incremental-identity-column-to-table-after-creating-table/
You can use Attlasian Source Tree (Windows) (https://www.atlassian.com/software/sourcetree/overview). Just select files from tree and push button "Remove" at the top. Files will be deleted from local repository and local git database. Then Commit, then push.
I had the same problem and after trying all of the above suggestions, it turned out that my IntelliJ installation had not picked up my JAVA_HOME system variable, and it had no SDK/JDK set.
I fixed it by following these instructions: Configuring Global, Project and Module SDKs
git push --set-upstream origin <branch_name>_test
--set-upstream
sets the association between your local branch and the remote. You only have to do it the first time. On subsequent pushes you can just do:
git push
If you don't have origin
set yet, use:
git remote add origin <repository_url>
then retry the above command.
Hoisted from the comments
2020 comment: rather than using regex, we now have
URLSearchParams
, which does all of this for us, so no custom code, let alone regex, are necessary anymore.
Browser support is listed here https://caniuse.com/#feat=urlsearchparams
I would suggest an alternative regex, using sub-groups to capture name and value of the parameters individually and re.exec()
:
function getUrlParams(url) {
var re = /(?:\?|&(?:amp;)?)([^=&#]+)(?:=?([^&#]*))/g,
match, params = {},
decode = function (s) {return decodeURIComponent(s.replace(/\+/g, " "));};
if (typeof url == "undefined") url = document.location.href;
while (match = re.exec(url)) {
params[decode(match[1])] = decode(match[2]);
}
return params;
}
var result = getUrlParams("http://maps.google.de/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=de&geocode=&q=Frankfurt+am+Main&sll=50.106047,8.679886&sspn=0.370369,0.833588&ie=UTF8&ll=50.116616,8.680573&spn=0.35972,0.833588&z=11&iwloc=addr");
result
is an object:
{ f: "q" geocode: "" hl: "de" ie: "UTF8" iwloc: "addr" ll: "50.116616,8.680573" q: "Frankfurt am Main" sll: "50.106047,8.679886" source: "s_q" spn: "0.35972,0.833588" sspn: "0.370369,0.833588" z: "11" }
The regex breaks down as follows:
(?: # non-capturing group \?|& # "?" or "&" (?:amp;)? # (allow "&", for wrongly HTML-encoded URLs) ) # end non-capturing group ( # group 1 [^=]+ # any character except "=", "&" or "#"; at least once ) # end group 1 - this will be the parameter's name (?: # non-capturing group =? # an "=", optional ( # group 2 [^]* # any character except "&" or "#"; any number of times ) # end group 2 - this will be the parameter's value ) # end non-capturing group
What's the first part of your Subversion repository URL?
I can't guarantee the first four since it's possible to reconfigure everything to use different ports, of if you go through a proxy of some sort.
If you're using a VPN, you may have to configure your VPN client to reroute these to their correct ports. A lot of places don't configure their correctly VPNs to do this type of proxying. It's either because they have some sort of anal-retentive IT person who's being overly security conscious, or because they simply don't know any better. Even worse, they'll give you a client where this stuff can't be reconfigured.
The only way around that is to log into a local machine over the VPN, and then do everything from that system.
There are a number of features and workflows that are different in the two, as is evident in all the answers. However, I think that in deciding what framework to use one much also consider the general productivity improvement one can make with each tool.
I am a big fan of Netbeans and Eclipse and have used both for many years. They are excellent tools and depending on what you are doing, you may want to choose one or the other.
However, about six months ago, while working on a complex java web project involving a lot of javascript front end code for a HMT5 ui, I was forced to look for alternatives to Eclipse due to a js autocomplete bug. I was so desperate that I was considering going back to a simple text editor for my js code!!!
It is only by luck that I ran across Intellij Idea (no time to research tools unfortunately).
While it takes some time to get used to the Idea way of doing things, special features aside, the productivity increase it offers from small things left and right is the biggest asset in my opinion. It simply works better for me and I am now a subscription-paying client of Idea Ultimate. Once you get used to this, its is very difficult to go back to anything else.
Nothing beats free and I am a big fan of open source, but in the end if you are doing this for a living, being able to do things faster pays out every time.
When considering what the computer actually does...
++x: load x from memory, increment, use, store back to memory.
x++: load x from memory, use, increment, store back to memory.
Consider: a = 0 x = f(a++) y = f(++a)
where function f(p) returns p + 1
x will be 1 (or 2)
y will be 2 (or 1)
And therein lies the problem. Did the author of the compiler pass the parameter after retrieval, after use, or after storage.
Generally, just use x = x + 1. It's way simpler.
not sure if it'll work in your scenario, but try adding the following to your web.config
under <system.web>
:
<system.web>
<customErrors mode="Off" />
...
</system.web>
works in my instance.
also see:
Try this:
MyContext Context = new MyContext();
Context.YourEntity.Add(obj);
Context.SaveChanges();
int ID = obj._ID;
The same as @Nix with a small change to be strongly typed:
If you don't want to query for it just create an entity, and then delete it.
Customer customer = new Customer () { Id = id };
context.Customers.Attach(customer);
context.Customers.DeleteObject(customer);
context.SaveChanges();
Here is a functional approach using map
, itertools.repeat
and operator.mul
:
import operator
from itertools import repeat
def scalar_multiplication(vector, scalar):
yield from map(operator.mul, vector, repeat(scalar))
Example of usage:
>>> v = [1, 2, 3, 4]
>>> c = 3
>>> list(scalar_multiplication(v, c))
[3, 6, 9, 12]
Make sure that all these are in upto date.
I solved it through googling:
var ObjectId = require('mongoose').Types.ObjectId;
var objId = new ObjectId( (param.length < 12) ? "123456789012" : param );
// You should make string 'param' as ObjectId type. To avoid exception,
// the 'param' must consist of more than 12 characters.
User.find( { $or:[ {'_id':objId}, {'name':param}, {'nickname':param} ]},
function(err,docs){
if(!err) res.send(docs);
});
I think this post by Jeff Attwood addresses your question perfectly. It takes you through the differences between newlines on Dos, Mac and Unix, and then explains the history of CR (Carriage return) and LF (Line feed).
See here.
iterator.nextIndex()
would provide index of element that would be returned by subsequent call to next()
.
The Light,
You can configure the process acting as the client to use fiddler as a proxy.
Fiddler sets itself up as a proxy conveniently on 127.0.0.1:8888, and by default overrides the system settings under Internet Options in the Control Panel (if you've configured any) such that all traffic from the common protocols (http, https, and ftp) goes to 127.0.0.1:8888 before leaving your machine.
Now these protocols are often from common processes such as browsers, and so are easily picked up by fiddler. However, in your case, the process initiating the requests is probably not a browser, but one for a programming language like php.exe, or java.exe, or whatever language you are using.
If, say, you're using php, you can leverage curl. Ensure that the curl module is enabled, and then right before your code that invokes the request, include:
curl_setopt($ch, CURLOPT_PROXY, '127.0.0.1:8888');
Hope this helps. You can also always lookup stuff like so from the fiddler documentation for a basis for you to build upon e.g. http://docs.telerik.com/fiddler/Configure-Fiddler/Tasks/ConfigurePHPcURL

There won't be any overflow, what would happen is an out of memory.
There are some cool answers here (errator esp.), but for something analogous to split in other languages -- which is what I took the original question to mean -- I settled on this:
IN="[email protected];[email protected]"
declare -a a="(${IN/;/ })";
Now ${a[0]}
, ${a[1]}
, etc, are as you would expect. Use ${#a[*]}
for number of terms. Or to iterate, of course:
for i in ${a[*]}; do echo $i; done
IMPORTANT NOTE:
This works in cases where there are no spaces to worry about, which solved my problem, but may not solve yours. Go with the $IFS
solution(s) in that case.
Below are two methods that are superior to looping. Both handle a "no-find" case.
VLOOKUP
with error-handling if the variable doesn't exist (INDEX/MATCH
may be a better route than VLOOKUP
, ie if your two columns A and B were in reverse order, or were far apart)VBAs FIND
method (matching a whole string in column A given I use the xlWhole
argument)
Sub Method1()
Dim strSearch As String
Dim strOut As String
Dim bFailed As Boolean
strSearch = "trees"
On Error Resume Next
strOut = Application.WorksheetFunction.VLookup(strSearch, Range("A:B"), 2, False)
If Err.Number <> 0 Then bFailed = True
On Error GoTo 0
If Not bFailed Then
MsgBox "corresponding value is " & vbNewLine & strOut
Else
MsgBox strSearch & " not found"
End If
End Sub
Sub Method2()
Dim rng1 As Range
Dim strSearch As String
strSearch = "trees"
Set rng1 = Range("A:A").Find(strSearch, , xlValues, xlWhole)
If Not rng1 Is Nothing Then
MsgBox "Find has matched " & strSearch & vbNewLine & "corresponding cell is " & rng1.Offset(0, 1)
Else
MsgBox strSearch & " not found"
End If
End Sub
You could do it like this:
<a>
with a class, say "cancel"set up the dialog by acting on all elements with class="cancel":
$('a.cancel').click(function() {
var a = this;
$('#myDialog').dialog({
buttons: {
"Yes": function() {
window.location = a.href;
}
}
});
return false;
});
(plus your other options)
The key points here are:
However, I recommend that you make this a POST instead of a GET, since a cancel action has side effects and thus doesn't comply with GET semantics...
In my case, apart from these steps:
I have needed to put the class as public in order to create productName-Swift.h file:
import UIKit
@objc public class TestSwift: NSObject {

}
}
From How do I install a Python package with a .whl file? [sic], How do I install a Python package USING a .whl file ?
For all Windows platforms:
1) Download the .WHL package install file.
2) Make Sure path [C:\Progra~1\Python27\Scripts] is in the system PATH string. This is for using both [pip.exe] and [easy-install.exe].
3) Make sure the latest version of pip.EXE is now installed. At this time of posting:
pip.EXE --version
pip 9.0.1 from C:\PROGRA~1\Python27\lib\site-packages (python 2.7)
4) Run pip.EXE in an Admin command shell.
- Open an Admin privileged command shell.
> easy_install.EXE --upgrade pip
- Check the pip.EXE version:
> pip.EXE --version
pip 9.0.1 from C:\PROGRA~1\Python27\lib\site-packages (python 2.7)
> pip.EXE install --use-wheel --no-index
--find-links="X:\path to wheel file\DownloadedWheelFile.whl"
Be sure to double-quote paths or path\filenames with embedded spaces in them ! Alternatively, use the MSW 'short' paths and filenames.
In more simple terms:
Technically, the -u
flag adds a tracking reference to the upstream server you are pushing to.
What is important here is that this lets you do a git pull
without supplying any more arguments. For example, once you do a git push -u origin master
, you can later call git pull
and git will know that you actually meant git pull origin master
.
Otherwise, you'd have to type in the whole command.
While getting all album tracks form inside album class, you'll generate one more query for one more record. That's because of proxy method. There's another example of my code (see last post in topic): http://groups.google.com/group/doctrine-user/browse_thread/thread/d1d87c96052e76f7/436b896e83c10868#436b896e83c10868
Is there any other method to resolve that? Isn't a single join a better solution?
There is one other option also .
row=(Row) sheet.getRow(i);
if (row == null || isEmptyRow(row)) {
return;
}
Iterator<Cell> cells = row.cellIterator();
while (cells.hasNext())
{}
FYI you can also get this error if EF Migrations tries to run with no Db configured, for example in a Test Project.
Chased this for hours before I figured out that it was erroring on a query, but, not because of the query but because it was when Migrations kicked in to try to create the Db.
Use data type 'MultilineText':
[DataType(DataType.MultilineText)]
public string Text { get; set; }
Write yourself an extension method
public static class ArrayExtensions {
public static void Fill<T>(this T[] originalArray, T with) {
for(int i = 0; i < originalArray.Length; i++){
originalArray[i] = with;
}
}
}
and use it like
int foo[] = new int[]{0,0,0,0,0};
foo.Fill(13);
will fill all the elements with 13
onclick="history.go(-1)"
Simply
SimpleDateFormat
sdf=new SimpleDateFormat("dd/MM/YYYY hh:mm:ss");
String dateString=sdf.format(date);
It will give the output 28/09/2013 09:57:19
as you expected.
JetBrains offer a reasonable explanation,
"Ad-hoc conversion of data structures to text is largely dependent on the current culture, and may lead to unintended results when the code is executed on a machine whose locale differs from that of the original developer. To prevent ambiguities, ReSharper warns you of any instances in code where such a problem may occur."
but if I am working on a site I know will be in English only, I just ignore the suggestion.

, which discards it.
(The >>
seems sort of superfluous, since >>
means append while >
means truncate and write, and either appending to or writing to /dev/null
has the same net effect. I usually just use >
for that reason.)
2>&1
redirects standard error (2
) to standard output (1
), which then discards it as well since standard output has already been redirected.
Yes you can ignore this <br>
.
You may need this especially in case of responsive design where you need to remove breaks for mobile devices.
HTML
<h2>
Where ever you go <br class="break"> i am there.
</h2>
CSS for mobile example
/* Resize the browser window to check */
@media (max-width: 640px)
{
.break {display: none;}
}

Simply get route form this url and do next ...
Origin ---> starting point latitude & longitude
Destination---> ending point latitude & longitude
here i have put origin as Delhi latitude and longitude & destination as chandigarh latitude longitude
https://maps.googleapis.com/maps/api/directions/json?origin=28.704060,77.102493&destination=30.733315,76.779419&sensor=false&key="PUT YOUR MAP API KEY"
No Worries! I have found the solution! I just installed https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/desktop/bg162891.aspx and it all worked fine :)
git config --global core.editor "'C:/Program Files/Notepad++/notepad++.exe' -multiInst -notabbar -nosession -noPlugin"
Or, for 64-bit Windows and a 32-bit install of Notepad++:
git config --global core.editor "'C:/Program Files (x86)/Notepad++/notepad++.exe' -multiInst -notabbar -nosession -noPlugin"
Or, the following can be issued on the command line on either 32-bit or 64-bit Windows. It will pull the location of notepad++.exe from the registry and configure git to use it automatically:
FOR /F "usebackq tokens=2*" %A IN (`REG QUERY "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\App Paths\notepad++.exe" /ve`) DO git config --global core.editor "'%B' -multiInst -notabbar -nosession -noPlugin"
If you wish to place the above from a .BAT or .CMD file, you must replace %A with %%A and %B with %%B
You can also use blank single quotes for the auto_increment column. something like this. It worked for me.
$query = "INSERT INTO myTable VALUES ('','Fname', 'Lname', 'Website')";
One more thing that I haven't seen mentioned here - Xcode supports .h files with "_private" in the name. Let's say you have a class MyClass - you have MyClass.m and MyClass.h and now you can also have MyClass_private.h. Xcode will recognize this and include it in the list of "Counterparts" in the Assistant Editor.
//MyClass.m
#import "MyClass.h"
#import "MyClass_private.h"
