I had just tested it out and it works!
You need to use a tool to view the HTTP headers sent with the file, something like LiveHTTPHeaders or HTTPFox are what I use. If the files are sent from the webserver without a MIME type, or with a default MIME type like text/plain, that might be what this error is about.
You can use a class that works much like a builder to contain your optional values like this.

I have had this problem after a windows update. Windows Process Activation Service is dependent service for W3SVC. First, make sure that Windows Process Activation Service is running. In my case, it was not running and when I tried to run it manually, I got below error.
Windows Process Activation Service Error 2: The system cannot find the file specified
The issue seems to be, that windows adds an incorrect parameter to the WAS service startup parameters. I fixed the issue using the following steps:
Start regedit (just type it into start) Navigate to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\WAS\Parameters
Delete the NanoSetup variable. This variable is preventing WAS from starting
Start the WAS service using task manager
Now start the W3SVC service
You can now start your website in IIS again

The exception TypeError: 'NoneType' object is not subscriptable
happens because the value of lista
is actually None
. You can reproduce TypeError

The reason that lista
gets set to None is because the return value of list.sort()
is None
... it does not return a sorted copy of the original list. Instead, as the documentation points out, the list gets sorted in-place instead of a copy being made (this is for efficiency reasons).

My problem was actually a problem of bad planning with the JSON object rather than an actual logic issue. What I ended up doing was organize the object as follows, per a suggestion from user2736012.

I had the same issue and did not want to rely on the user pressing Done or Enter.
My first attempt was to use the onFocusChange listener, but it occurred that my EditText got the focus by default. When user pressed some other view, the onFocusChange was triggered without the user ever having assigned it the focus.
Next solution did it for me, where the onFocusChange is attached if the user touched the EditText:

In my case, when the user was done editing the screen was rerendered, thereby renewing the myEditText object. If the same object is kept, you should probably remove the onFocusChange listener in onFocusChange to prevent the onFocusChange issue described at the start of this post.
I am a .NET developer, and have used Git and Visual Studio for years. My strong recommendation is set line endings to true. And do it as early as you can in the lifetime of your Repository.
That being said, I HATE that Git changes my line endings. A source control should only save and retrieve the work I do, it should NOT modify it. Ever. But it does.
What will happen if you don't have every developer set to true, is ONE developer eventually will set to true. This will begin to change the line endings of all of your files to LF in your repo. And when users set to false check those out, Visual Studio will warn you, and ask you to change them. You will have 2 things happen very quickly. One, you will get more and more of those warnings, the bigger your team the more you get. The second, and worse thing, is that it will show that every line of every modified file was changed(because the line endings of every line will be changed by the true guy). Eventually you won't be able to track changes in your repo reliably anymore. It is MUCH easier and cleaner to make everyone keep to true, than to try to keep everyone false. As horrible as it is to live with the fact that your trusted source control is doing something it should not. Ever.

In my case I had a build script that generated the .app binary (Buck). The Buck build script ran in parallel with Swift Embed build step. Because the .app binary was not generated yet the Swift step would fail.

In MySQL, certain words like SELECT
, INSERT
, DELETE
etc. are reserved words. Since they have a special meaning, MySQL treats it as a syntax error whenever you use them as a table name, column name, or other kind of identifier - unless you surround the identifier with backticks.

A complete list of keywords and reserved words can be found in section 10.3 Keywords and Reserved Words. In that page, words followed by "(R)" are reserved words. Some reserved words are listed below, including many that tend to cause this issue.
You have two options.
The simplest solution is simply to avoid using reserved words as identifiers. You can probably find another reasonable name for your column that is not a reserved word.
Doing this has a couple of advantages:
It eliminates the possibility that you or another developer using your database will accidentally write a syntax error due to forgetting - or not knowing - that a particular identifier is a reserved word. There are many reserved words in MySQL and most developers are unlikely to know all of them. By not using these words in the first place, you avoid leaving traps for yourself or future developers.
The means of quoting identifiers differs between SQL dialects. While MySQL uses backticks for quoting identifiers by default, ANSI-compliant SQL (and indeed MySQL in ANSI SQL mode, as noted here) uses double quotes for quoting identifiers. As such, queries that quote identifiers with backticks are less easily portable to other SQL dialects.
Purely for the sake of reducing the risk of future mistakes, this is usually a wiser course of action than backtick-quoting the identifier.
If renaming the table or column isn't possible, wrap the offending identifier in backticks (`
) as described in the earlier quote from 10.2 Schema Object Names.
An example to demonstrate the usage (taken from 10.3 Keywords and Reserved Words):

What should catch your attention here is "After=network.target". I spent days and days looking for fixes on nginx side, while the problem was just that. To be sure, stop running the node service you have, launch the ExecStart command directly and try to reproduce the bug. If it doesn't pop, it just means that your service has a problem. At least this is how i found my answer.

If you have separate layout files for portrait and landscape modes and are getting an inflation error whenever you change orientation after clicking an item, there is most likely a discrepancy between your layout files.
When you get the error, is it only when you click the item in landscape mode or only in portrait mode or both? Does your TaskDetailsFragment activity use a layout file that could have discrepancies between landscape and portrait modes?
Option 1
You didn't say much about your environment, but assuming you have it available you could use a PowerShell script; one example is here. The essence of this is:

If you're prepared to use third-party software, is something line this SendEmail command-line tool. It depends on your target environment, though; if you're deploying your batch file to multiple machines, that will obviously require inclusion (but not formal installation) each time.

You could drive Outlook directly from a VBA script, which in turn you would trigger from a batch file; this would let you send an email using Outlook itself, which looks to be closest to what you're wanting. There are two parts to this; first, figure out the VBA scripting required to send an email. There are lots of examples for this online, including from Microsoft here. Essence of this is:

I think I just discovered a way to apply overlapping conditions in the expected way using VBA. After hours of trying out different approaches I found that what worked was changing the "Applies to" range for the conditional format rule, after every single one was created!

I had an odd issue in my own project where the compiler was giving an error roughly equivalent to "cannot convert string to Color" using the equivalent of this code:

.gitattributes

Make it possible to let Git show the line endings in the index and in the working tree and the effective text/eol attributes.
The end of line ("

At the risk of TLDR, I will also point out that with respect to hibernate_test.cfg.xml
my testing suggests that the configuration.getProperties()
method only returns <property />
elements, and <mapping />
elements are excluded. This appears consistent with the specific use of the terms 'property' and 'mapping' within the API documentation for Configuration
. I will concede that this behaviour may have something to do with the failure of applySettings()
to yield the mapping data to the StandardServiceRegistryBuilder
. However, this mapping data should already have been parsed during configuration of the Configuration
object and available to it when buildSessionFactory()
is called. Therefore, I suspect this may be due to implementation-specific details regarding resource precedence when a ServiceRegistry
is passed to a Configuration
object's buildSessionFactory()
method.
I know this question is several years old now, but I hope this answer saves somebody the hours of research I spent in deriving it. Cheers!
These questions are answering the question of "how should I?" without considering the question "should I?" A change in the value of a variable that takes positive and negative values is fairly meaning less, statistically speaking. The suggestion to "shift" might work well for some variables (e.g. temperature which can be shifted to a kelvin scale or something to take care of the problem) but very poorly for others, where negativity has a precise implication for direction. For example net income or losses. Operating at a loss (negative income) has a precise meaning in this context, and moving from -50 to 30 is not in any way the same for this context as moving from 110 to 190, as a previous post suggests. These percentage changes should most likely be reported as "NA".
I would prefer to shelve changes instead of stashing them if I am not sharing my changes elsewhere.
Stashing is a git feature and doesn't give you the option to select specific files or changes inside a file. Shelving can do that but this is an IDE-specific feature, not a git feature:
As you can see I am able to choose to specify which files/lines to include on my shelve. Note that I can't do that with stashing.
Beware using shelves in the IDE may limit the portability of your patches because those changes are not stored in a .git folder.

throws away the (topmost, by default) stash after applying it, whereas git stash apply

Looks like the problem was that I created a Database monitoring
Item
programmatically and it triggered a bug that caused the server to shutdown.
Once I deleted the item the server came back up, and creating subsequent Items
didn't kill it.
The deadly Item
had a value_type
of Numeric unsigned
, -1 programmatically, while the newly created Items
have a value_type
of float
, which is 0 programmatically.
The whole thing has a voodoo element to it but it did solve my problem.

On an Ubuntu box, I started getting this error after moving /tmp to a different volume (symlink). Even after setting the required permission 1777, the issue was not resolved.

In my case, I just wanted the text from a specific area of the PDF document so I used a rectangle around the area and extracted the text from it. In the sample below the coordinates are for the entire page. I don't have PDF authoring tools so when it came time to narrow down the rectangle to the specific location I took a few guesses at the coordinates until the area was found.

HTTP verbs are probably one of the most cryptic things about the HTTP protocol. They exist, and there are many of them, but why do they exist?
Rails seems to want to support many verbs and add some verbs that aren't supported by web browsers natively.

The PATCH method requests that a set of changes described in the request entity be applied to the resource identified by the Request- URI. The set of changes is represented in a format called a "patch document" identified by a media type. If the Request-URI does not point to an existing resource, the server MAY create a new resource, depending on the patch document type (whether it can logically modify a null resource) and permissions, etc.
The difference between the PUT and PATCH requests is reflected in the way the server processes the enclosed entity to modify the resource identified by the Request-URI. In a PUT request, the enclosed entity is considered to be a modified version of the resource stored on the origin server, and the client is requesting that the stored version be replaced. With PATCH, however, the enclosed entity contains a set of instructions describing how a resource currently residing on the origin server should be modified to produce a new version. The PATCH method affects the resource identified by the Request-URI, and it also MAY have side effects on other resources; i.e., new resources may be created, or existing ones modified, by the application of a PATCH.
As far as I know, the PATCH verb is not used as it is in rails applications... As I understand this, the RFC patch verb should be used to send patch instructions like when you do a diff between two files. Instead of sending the whole entity again, you send a patch that could be much smaller than resending the whole entity.
Imagine you want to edit a huge file. You edit 3 lines. Instead of sending the file back, you just have to send the diff. On the plus side, sending a patch request could be used to merge files asynchronously. A version control system could potentially use the PATCH verb to update code remotely.
One other possible use case is somewhat related to NoSQL databases, it is possible to store documents. Let say we use a JSON structure to send back and forth data from the server to the client. If we wanted to delete a field, we could use a syntax similar to the one in mongodb for $unset. Actually, the method used in mongodb to update documents could be probably used to handle json patches.
Taking this example:

It would be better to create the PreparedStatement
only once, and re-use it over and over again in the loop.
In situations where that is not possible (because it complicated the program flow too much), it is still beneficial to use a PreparedStatement
, even if you use it only once, because the server-side of the work (parsing the SQL and caching the execution plan), will still be reduced.
To address the situation that you want to re-use the Java-side PreparedStatement
, some JDBC drivers (such as Oracle) have a caching feature: If you create a PreparedStatement
for the same SQL on the same connection, it will give you the same (cached) instance.
About multi-threading: I do not think JDBC connections can be shared across multiple threads (i.e. used concurrently by multiple threads) anyway. Every thread should get his own connection from the pool, use it, and return it to the pool again.

Unless you have specific performance reasons to avoid it, I would recommend using a separate table for the enumeration. Use foreign key integrity unless the extra lookup really kills you.

Please note that it's just a part of a bigger library I wrote to handle google maps stuff, hence comments may be confusing.
Usage is quite simple, the approach, however, is slightly different: instead of looping and resolving one address at a time, you will need to pass an array of addresses to the class and it will handle the search by itself, returning a promise which, when resolved, returns an array containing all the resolved (and unresolved) address.

Basically, it loops every item with a delay of 750 milliseconds between each of them, hence every 750 milliseconds an address is controlled.
I've made some further testings and I've found out that even at 700 milliseconds I was sometimes getting the QUERY_LIMIT error, while with 750 I haven't had any issue at all.
In any case, feel free to edit the 750 above if you feel you are safe by handling a lower delay.

I was debugging an SSL issue today which resulted in the same write:errno=104
error. Eventually I found out that the reason for this behaviour was that the server required SNI (servername
TLS extensions) to work correctly. Supplying the -servername
option to openssl made it connect successfully:

Actually, all of those examples on the web wherein the common content/file type like "js", "css", "img", etc is been used as library name are misleading.
To start, let's look at how existing JSF implementations like Mojarra and MyFaces and JSF component libraries like PrimeFaces and OmniFaces use it. No one of them use resource libraries this way. They use it (under the covers, by @ResourceDependency
or UIViewRoot#addComponentResource()
) the following way:

, you can also apply more finer grained control over resources coming from a specific library when library
is used the right way. If all component libraries would have used "js" for all their JS files, how would the ResourceHandler
ever distinguish if it's coming from a specific component library? Examples are OmniFaces CombinedResourceHandler
and GraphicResourceHandler
; check the createResource()
method wherein the library is checked before delegating to next resource handler in chain. This way they know when to create CombinedResource
or GraphicResource
for the purpose.
Noted should be that RichFaces did it wrong. It didn't use any library
at all and homebrewed another resource handling layer over it and it's therefore impossible to programmatically identify RichFaces resources. That's exactly the reason why OmniFaces CombinedResourceHander
had to introduce a reflection-based hack in order to get it to work anyway with RichFaces resources.
Your own webapp does not necessarily need a resource library. You'd best just omit it.

So, if you have edited/updated some resource, then all you need to do is to copy or rename the version folder into a new value. If you have multiple version folders, then the JSF ResourceHandler
will automatically serve the resource from the highest version number, according to numerical ordering rules.
So, when copying/renaming resources/default/1_0/*
folder into resources/default/1_1/*
like follows:

Then the last markup example would generate the following HTML:

This will force the webbrowser to request the resource straight from the server instead of showing the one with the same name from the cache, when the URL with the changed parameter is been requested for the first time. This way the endusers aren't required to do a hard refresh (Ctrl+F5 and so on) when they need to retrieve the updated CSS/JS resource.
Please note that library versioning is not possible for resources enclosed in a JAR file. You'd need a custom ResourceHandler

There is way without requiring user to do changes on his PC. Runtime.getRuntime.exec() allows us to start cmd.exe and execute commands inside of it. So, it's possible for java program to run itself in command prompt when user clicks .jar file.
