GNU linker, in my case companion of GCC 8.1.0, well detects not re-declared pure virtual methods, but above certain complexity of class design it fails to identify missing implementation of methods and answers with a flat "V-Table Missing",

or even tends to report missing implementation, in spite it is there.

The only solution then is to verify consistency of declaration of implementation manually, method by method.

As long as people still stuck in this issue and we are in 2020 already. I get a pure CSS solution by giving the drop down menu a flex display

As stated in the other answers, m_ prefix is used to indicate that a variable is a class member. This is different from Hungarian notation because it doesn't indicate the type of the variable but its context.

I use m_ in C++ but not in some other languages where 'this' or 'self' is compulsory. I don't like to see 'this->' used with C++ because it clutters the code.

Another answer says m_dsc is "bad practice" and 'description;' is "good practice" but this is a red herring because the problem there is the abbreviation.

Another answer says typing this pops up IntelliSense but any good IDE will have a hotkey to pop up IntelliSense for the current class members.

Be aware that the Path is case sensitive. I tried setx PATH and it didn't work. In my case it was setx Path. Make sure your CMD run as Administrator.

Now just restart your command prompt (or restart the PC) and the node command should be available.

If you are developing a command line application, you can also use Console.ReadLine() at the end of your code to wait for the 'Enter' keypress before closing the console window so that you can read your output.

The rowSums function (as Greg mentions) will do what you want, but you are mixing subsetting techniques in your answer, do not use "$" when using "[]", your code should look something more like:

Yes... by the time the regex compiler sees the pattern you've given it, it sees only a single backslash (since Java's lexer has turned the double backwhack into a single one). You need to replace "\\\\" with "\\\\", believe it or not! Java really needs a good raw string syntax.

There is another way to solve this problem. Let us say you want to access directory "subphp" which exist at /var/www/html/subphp, and you want to access it using 127.0.0.1/subphp and you receive error like this:

You don't have permission to access /subphp/ on this server.

Then change the directory permissions from "None" to "access files". A command-line user can use the chmod command to change the permission.

Was looking at how to trust a certificate while using jenkins cli, and found https://issues.jenkins-ci.org/browse/JENKINS-12629 which has some recipe for that.

This will give you the certificate:

Ant and Maven are widely used. I prefer Ant, I feel it's more lightweight and you the developer are more in control. Some would suggest that's its downside :-)

The accepted answer does not preserve STDERR as a separate file descriptor. That means

will not output bar to the terminal, only to the logfile, and

./script.sh 2>/dev/null

will output both foo and bar to the terminal. Clearly that's not the behaviour a normal user is likely to expect. This can be fixed by using two separate tee processes both appending to the same log file:

The POSIX.1-2008 specification of tee(1) requires that output is unbuffered, i.e. not even line-buffered, so in this case it is possible that STDOUT and STDERR could end up on the same line of foo.log; however that could also happen on the terminal, so the log file will be a faithful reflection of what could be seen on the terminal, if not an exact mirror of it. If you want the STDOUT lines cleanly separated from the STDERR lines, consider using two log files, possibly with date stamp prefixes on each line to allow chronological reassembly later on.

Wouldn't it be better to not use any dynamic types for this, and let your class implement an interface. Then, you can check at runtime wether an object implements that interface, and thus, has the expected method (or property).

I think this is the only correct way.

The thing you're referring to is duck-typing, which is useful in scenarios where you already know that the object has the method, but the compiler cannot check for that. This is useful in COM interop scenarios for instance. (check this article)

If you want to combine duck-typing with reflection for instance, then I think you're missing the goal of duck-typing.

Read the input continuously within the loop so that the variable line is assigned a value other than the initial value

The way you declare the date property as an input looks incorrect but its hard to say if it's the only problem without seeing all your code. Rather than using @Input('date') declare the date property like so: private _date: string;. Also, make sure you are instantiating the model with the new keyword. Lastly, access the property using regular dot notation.

Try using exit(0); instead. The exit function expects an integer parameter. And don't forget to #include <stdlib.h>.

A word is the size of the registers in the processor. This means processor instructions like, add, mul, etc are on word-sized inputs.

But most modern architectures have memory that is addressable in 8-bit chunks, so it is convenient to use the word "byte".

With the adoption of CoreSimulator in Xcode 6.0, the data directories are per-device rather than per-version. The data directory is ~/Library/Developer/CoreSimulator/Devices//data where can be determined from 'xcrun simctl list'

After finding this post, when looking myself I thought I should add that I don't think the most up-voted solution is the best. It doesn't handle array values (such as ?a=foo&a=bar - in this case I would expect getting a to return ['foo', 'bar']). It also as far as I can tell doesn't take into account encoded values - such as hex character encoding where %20 represents a space (example: ?a=Hello%20World) or the plus symbol being used to represent a space (example: ?a=Hello+World).

Node.js offers what looks like a very complete solutions to querystring parsing. It would be easy to take out and use in your own project as its fairly well isolated and under a permissive licence.

This is a common problem on Android that has been solved in many ways by many people. In my opinion the best solution I've seen is the relatively new library called Picasso. Here are the highlights:

• Open source, but headed up by Jake Wharton of ActionBarSherlock fame.

• Automatic disk and memory caching
• Can do custom transformations
• Lots of configurable options

It the element has two xpath. Then you can write two xpaths like below:

Eg:

LIKE and = are different. LIKE is what you would use in a search query. It also allows wildcards like _ (simple character wildcard) and % (multi-character wildcard).

= should be used if you want exact matches and it will be faster.

None of the above helped. It was a simple problem in the end.

I had a project which uses the FacebookSDK and ViewPagerIndicator as library projects. All were built on Android API 16 and those two projects used the android support library vX (X not being 16!)

I added an external JAR to both those projects and pointed it to \extras\android\v4... And also removed the v4 jar I had in their libs folders.

Clean all projects and re-build.

Voilla!

I also have the similar problem, and later on I found it is because I changed my hostname (not localhost).

Therefore I get it resolved by specifying the --host=127.0.0.1

mysql -p mydatabase --host=127.0.0.1

Since the file will be larger, you don't have very much choice in how to do this. You cannot process the file in place since that will destroy the information you need to use. You have two options that I can see:

1. Read in the entire file, base64 encode, re-write the encoded data.
2. Read the file in smaller pieces, encoding as you go along. Encode to a temporary file in the same directory. When you are finished, delete the original file, and rename the temporary file.

Of course, the whole point of streams is to avoid this sort of scenario. Instead of creating the content and stuffing it into a file stream, stuff it into a memory stream. Then encode that and only then save to disk.

You cannot session_start(); when your buffer has already been partly sent.

This mean, if your script already sent informations (something you want, or an error report) to the client, session_start() will fail.

In my case I created a database and gave the collation 'utf8_general_ci' but the required collation was 'latin1'. After changing my collation type to latin1_bin the error was gone.

If you are referring to really long strings of text without spaces, what I do is process the string server-side and insert empty spans:

It's not exact as there are issues with font-sizing and such. The span option works if the container is variable in size. If it's a fixed width container, you could just go ahead and insert line breaks.

You shouldn't for security reasons. Especially if cookies are in play here. It leaves you wide open to cookie-based replay attacks.

Either way, you should use Apache control rules to tune it.

Then you can test for HTTPS being enabled and redirect as-needed where needed.

You should redirect to the pay page only using a FORM POST (no get), and accesses to the page without a POST should be directed back to the other pages. (This will catch the people just hot-jumping.)

If you need to mock a static method, it is a strong indicator for a bad design. Usually, you mock the dependency of your class-under-test. If your class-under-test refers to a static method - like java.util.Math#sin for example - it means the class-under-test needs exactly this implementation (of accuracy vs. speed for example). If you want to abstract from a concrete sinus implementation you probably need an Interface (you see where this is going to)?

Since docstrings are free-form, it really depends on what you use to parse code to generate API documentation.

I would recommend getting familiar with the Sphinx markup, since it is widely used and is becoming the de-facto standard for documenting Python projects, in part because of the excellent readthedocs.org service. To paraphrase an example from the Sphinx documentation as a Python snippet:

This markup supports cross-referencing between documents and more. Note that the Sphinx documentation uses (e.g.) :py:attr: whereas you can just use :attr: when documenting from the source code.

Naturally, there are other tools to document APIs. There's the more classic Doxygen which uses \param commands but those are not specifically designed to document Python code like Sphinx is.

Throw preserves the stack trace. So lets say Source1 throws Error1 , its caught by Source2 and Source2 says throw then Source1 Error + Source2 Error will be available in the stack trace.

Throw ex does not preserve the stack trace. So all errors of Source1 will be wiped out and only Source2 error will sent to the client.

Sometimes just reading things are not clear , would suggest to watch this video demo to get more clarity , Throw vs Throw ex in C#.

If you want to both OnTouch and OnClick listener to parent and child view both, please use below trick:

1. User ScrollView as a Parent view and inside that placed your child view inside Relative/LinearLayout.

2. Make Parent ScrollView android:fillViewport="true" so View not be scrolled.

3. Then set OnTouch listener to parent and OnClick listener to Child views. And enjoy both listener callbacks.

I liked Danila's solution and started using it but nobody else on the team liked having to create 4 classes for each repository. Danila's solution is the only one here that let's you use the Spring Data methods in the Impl class. However, I found a way to do it with just a single class:

Unfortunately, you can't @Autowire in an interface. You could autowire the bean into a MongoAccessImpl and provide a method in the interface to access it, but Spring Data blows up. I don't think it expects to see an Impl associated even indirectly with PagingAndSortingRepository.

What I do in these cases is:

This option only works for one level of nesting. Changes to the submodule inside of another submodule will not be pushed.

push: add recurseSubmodules config option

The --recurse-submodules command line parameter has existed for some time but it has no config file equivalent.

Following the style of the corresponding parameter for git fetch, let's invent push.recurseSubmodules to provide a default for this parameter.
This also requires the addition of --recurse-submodules=no to allow the configuration to be overridden on the command line when required.

The most straightforward way to implement this appears to be to make push use code in submodule-config in a similar way to fetch.

The git config doc now include:

push.recurseSubmodules:

Make sure all submodule commits used by the revisions to be pushed are available on a remote-tracking branch.

• If the value is 'check', then Git will verify that all submodule commits that changed in the revisions to be pushed are available on at least one remote of the submodule. If any commits are missing, the push will be aborted and exit with non-zero status.
• If the value is 'on-demand' then all submodules that changed in the revisions to be pushed will be pushed. If on-demand was not able to push all necessary revisions it will also be aborted and exit with non-zero status. -
• If the value is 'no' then default behavior of ignoring submodules when pushing is retained.

You may override this configuration at time of push by specifying '--recurse-submodules=check|on-demand|no'.

git push --dry-run --recurse-submodules=on-demand will actually work.

push run with --dry-run doesn't actually (Git 2.11 Dec. 2016 and lower/before) perform a dry-run when push is configured to push submodules on-demand.
Instead all submodules which need to be pushed are actually pushed to their remotes while any updates for the superproject are performed as a dry-run.
This is a bug and not the intended behaviour of a dry-run.

Teach push to respect the --dry-run option when configured to recursively push submodules 'on-demand'.
This is done by passing the --dry-run flag to the child process which performs a push for a submodules when performing a dry-run.

And still in Git 2.12, you now havea "--recurse-submodules=only" option to push submodules out without pushing the top-level superproject.

Apple's Technote on App Transport Security is very handy; it helped us find a more secure solution to our issue.

Hopefully this will help someone else. We were having issues connecting to Amazon S3 URLs that appeared to be perfectly valid, TLSv12 HTTPS URLs. Turns out we had to disable NSExceptionRequiresForwardSecrecy to enable another handful of ciphers that S3 uses.

In our Info.plist:

For the Python module import to work, you must have "src" in your path, not "gen_py/lib".

When processing an import like import gen_py.lib, it looks for a module gen_py, then looks for a submodule lib.

As the module gen_py won't be in "../gen_py/lib" (it'll be in ".."), the path you added will do nothing to help the import process.

Depending on where you're running it from, try adding the relative path to the "src" folder. Perhaps it's sys.path.append('..'). You might also have success running the script while inside the src folder directly, via relative paths like python main/MyServer.py

mvn clean install -X helps to identify the root cause.

Some of the important phases of Maven build lifecycle are:

You can't modify strings; they're immutable. You can do this instead:

You can create your own extension method to do this:

For me, Visual Studio on Mac doesn't support Node.js (editing and debugging) whereas Visual Studio Code does this very well.

In your GIT view where you have your repositories you will see a structure such as:

• branches
• tags
• references
• remotes
• etc...

Click on remotes, right-click on the url of the repository there and select 'Change Credentials'.

It's impossible to say without seeing your actual code. Likely the reason is a code path through your function that doesn't execute a return statement. When the code goes down that path, the function ends with no value returned, and so returns None.

Updated: It sounds like your code looks like this:

That else clause is your None path. You need to return the value that the recursive call returns:

to set Binding you have to set Path with string, and with nameof keyword, it's possible to use Refactor option.

I solved this issue by First, installing babel-eslint using npm

In short there's no way to recover the passphrase for a pair of SSH keys. Why? Because it was intended this way in the first place for security reasons. The answers the other people gave you are all correct ways to CHANGE the password of your keys, not to recover them. The easiest way is to use to_datetime:

My personal preference is to use grep and the while command. This allows one to write powerful yet readable scripts ensuring that you end up doing exactly what you want. Plus by using an echo command you can perform a dry run before carrying out the actual operation. For example:

Eager Loading: Eager Loading helps you to load all your needed entities at once. i.e. related objects (child objects) are loaded automatically with its parent object.

When to use:

1. Use Eager Loading when the relations are not too much. Thus, Eager Loading is a good practice to reduce further queries on the Server.
2. Use Eager Loading when you are sure that you will be using related entities with the main entity everywhere.

Lazy Loading: In case of lazy loading, related objects (child objects) are not loaded automatically with its parent object until they are requested. By default LINQ supports lazy loading.

When to use:

1. Use Lazy Loading when you are using one-to-many collections.
2. Use Lazy Loading when you are sure that you are not using related entities instantly.

NOTE: Entity Framework supports three ways to load related data - eager loading, lazy loading and explicit loading.

To get started with dotnet core, SqlServer and EF core the below DBContextOptionsBuilder would sufice and you do not need to create App.config file. Do not forget to change the sever address and database name in the below code.

It depends on number of entities which are going to be updated, if you have large number of entities using JPA Query Update statement is better as you dont have to load all the entities from database, if you are going to update just one entity then using find and update is fine.

I found a solution that worked better for me. Under my home folder I found a workspace/.metadata folder. I copied this folder into my eclipse workspace, replacing the .metadata folder that had been there. When I started Eclipse everything was back to the way I had left it - all projects present, all open files were still open, etc. Just like nothing had happened! I'm using Neon.

If any of the values of some or dir corresponds to a root path then the previous path will be omitted and process rest by considering it as root

In order to better understand the concept let me explain both a little bit more detail as follows:-

The path.join and path.resolve are two different methods or functions of the path module provided by nodejs.

Where both accept a list of paths but the difference comes in the result i.e. how they process these paths.

path.join concatenates all given path segments together using the platform-specific separator as a delimiter, then normalizes the resulting path. While the path.resolve() process the sequence of paths from right to left, with each subsequent path prepended until an absolute path is constructed.

When no arguments supplied

The following example will help you to clearly understand both concepts:-

You can delete any QuerySet you'd like. For example, to delete all blog posts with some Post model

Post.objects.all().delete()

and to delete any Post with a future publication date

Post.objects.filter(pub_date__gt=datetime.now()).delete()

You do, however, need to come up with a way to narrow down your QuerySet. If you just want a view to delete a particular object, look into the delete generic view.

EDIT:

Sorry for the misunderstanding. I think the answer is somewhere between. To implement your own, combine ModelForms and generic views. Otherwise, look into 3rd party apps that provide similar functionality. In a related question, the recommendation was django-filter.

This solved my similar problem. I used it to revert the changes, then I added everything and commited changes in the terminal with

Cross join will help to join multiple tables with no common fields.But be careful while joining as this join will give cartesian resultset of two tables. QUERY:

So, the solution I could come up with was, extending the event related types to add your target type, as:

Your for loop is not right, if you need the index in the for loop use:

Form.Close() sends the proper Windows messages to shut down the win32 window. During that process, if the form was not shown modally, Dispose is called on the form. Disposing the form frees up the unmanaged resources that the form is holding onto.

If you do a form1.Show() or Application.Run(new Form1()), Dispose will be called when Close() is called.

However, if you do form1.ShowDialog() to show the form modally, the form will not be disposed, and you'll need to call form1.Dispose() yourself. I believe this is the only time you should worry about disposing the form yourself.

I've tried to set fuction's return value to a variable and iterate over variable, but there seems to be no way to set variable in Django template.

You should set variables in Django views instead of templates, and then pass them to the template.

While iterating over a JSON array (org.json.JSONArray, built into Android), watch out for null objects; for example, you may get "null" instead of a null string.

A check may look like:

You can test this VB Script from command prompt:

I also needed a shadow but only under an image and set in slightly left and right. This worked for me:

There are three different approaches to consider, as described in the reference

Use init-method attribute

Pros:

• Does not require bean to implement an interface.

Cons:

• No immediate indication this method is required after construction to ensure the bean is correctly configured.

Implement InitializingBean

Pros:

• No need to specify init-method, or turn on component scanning / annotation processing.
• Appropriate for beans supplied with a library, where we don't want the application using this library to concern itself with bean lifecycle.

Cons:

• More invasive than the init-method approach.

Use JSR-250 @PostConstruct lifecyle annotation

Pros:

• Useful when using component scanning to autodetect beans.
• Makes it clear that a specific method is to be used for initialisation. Intent is closer to the code.

Cons:

• Initialisation no longer centrally specified in configuration.
• You must remember to turn on annotation processing (which can sometimes be forgotten)

Many good answers here, but some of them are a little dated. If you want to add further worksheets to a single file then this is the approach I find works for me. For clarity, here is the workflow for openxlsx version 4.0

I've now trialled a few other answers, and I actually really like @Syed's. It doesn't exploit all the functionality of openxlsx but if you want a quick-and-easy export method then that's probably the most straightforward.

There is collection of Func<...> classes - Func that is probably what you are looking for:

 void MyMethod(Func<int> param1 = null) 

This defines method that have parameter param1 with default value null (similar to AS), and a function that returns int. Unlike AS in C# you need to specify type of the function's arguments.

So if you AS usage was

Than in C# it would require param1 to be of type Func<int, siring, bool> and usage like

The diff / (24 * etc) does not take Timezone into account, so if your default timezone has a DST in it, it can throw the calculation off.

You can't use it in the way you describe. The point about generic types, is that although you may not know them at "coding time", the compiler needs to be able to resolve them at compile time. Why? Because under the hood, the compiler will go away and create a new type (sometimes called a closed generic type) for each different usage of the "open" generic type.

In other words, after compilation,

DoesEntityExist<int>

is a different type to

DoesEntityExist<string>

This is how the compiler is able to enfore compile-time type safety.

For the scenario you describe, you should pass the type as an argument that can be examined at run time.

The other option, as mentioned in other answers, is that of using reflection to create the closed type from the open type, although this is probably recommended in anything other than extreme niche scenarios I'd say.

LPCWSTR stands for "Long Pointer to Constant Wide String". The W stands for Wide and means that the string is stored in a 2 byte character vs. the normal char. Common for any C/C++ code that has to deal with non-ASCII only strings.=

Why would you want to do this? You shouldn't be executing controller code in the view, and most certainly shouldn't be trying to pull code inside of another servlet into the view either.

Do all of your processing and refactoring of the application first, then just pass off the results to a view. Make the view as dumb as possible and you won't even run into these problems.

If this kind of design is hard for you, try Freemarker or even something like Velocity (although I don't recommend it) to FORCE you to do this. You never have to do this sort of thing ever.

To put it more accurately, the problem you are trying to solve is just a symptom of a greater problem - your architecture/design of your servlets.

If you're using SQL Server 2005 or later, use varchar(MAX). The text datatype is deprecated and should not be used for new development work. From the docs:

what you are doing here is reading one character at a time from the input stream and assume that all the characters between " " represent a word. BUT it's unlikely to be a " " after the last word, so that's probably why it does not work:

Postgres has a very rich system catalog exposed via SQL tables. PG's statistics collector is a subsystem that supports collection and reporting of information about server activity.

Now to figure out the blocking PIDs you can simply query pg_stat_activity.

Your error is quite literally saying "you're trying to use Windows Authentication, but your login isn't from a trusted domain". Which is odd, because you're connecting to the local machine.

Perhaps you're logged into Windows using a local account rather than a domain account? Ensure that you're logging in with a domain account that is also a SQL Server principal on your SQL2008 instance.

You can remove the time part of a date by using TRUNC.

select field,datetime_field 
  from database
 where datetime_field >= trunc(sysdate-1,'DD');

That query will give you all rows with dates starting from yesterday. Note the second argument to trunc(). You can use this to truncate any part of the date.

If your datetime_fied contains '2011-05-04 08:23:54', the following date will be returned

trunc(datetime_field, 'HH24') => 2011-05-04 08:00:00
trunc(datetime_field, 'DD')   => 2011-05-04 00:00:00
trunc(datetime_field, 'MM')   => 2011-05-01 00:00:00
trunc(datetime_field, 'YYYY') => 2011-00-01 00:00:00

A number of years ago (in the IE only days) I was using the <col align="right"> tag, but I just tested it and and it seems to be an IE only feature:

The snippet is taken from www.w3schools.com. Of course, it should not be used (unless for some reason you really target the IE rendering engine only), but I thought it would be interesting to mention it.

Edit:

• IE still supports it.
• Firefox has dropped support in 3.5.
• Safari does not seem to support it, but the documentation indicates otherwise.

Overall, I don't understand the reasoning behing abandoning this tag. It would appear to be very useful (at least for manual HTML publishing).

The package is not fully compatible with dotnetcore 2.0 for now.

eg, for 'Microsoft.AspNet.WebApi.Client' it maybe supported in version (5.2.4). See Consume new Microsoft.AspNet.WebApi.Client.5.2.4 package for details.

You could try the standard Client package as Federico mentioned.

If that still not work, then as a workaround you can only create a Console App (.Net Framework) instead of the .net core 2.0 console app.
