You probably need to wrap the UNION
in a sub-SELECT
and apply the WHERE
clause afterward:
SELECT * FROM (
SELECT * FROM Table1 WHERE Field1 = Value1
UNION
SELECT * FROM Table2 WHERE Field1 = Value2
) AS t WHERE Field2 = Value3
Basically, the UNION
is looking for two complete SELECT
statements to combine, and the WHERE
clause is part of the SELECT
statement.
It may make more sense to apply the outer WHERE
clause to both of the inner queries. You'll probably want to benchmark the performance of both approaches and see which works better for you.
First of all, have only one id="test"
Secondly, try this:
if ($('[name="test"]').is(':checked'))
A quick definition of the "permanent generation":
"The permanent generation is used to hold reflective data of the VM itself such as class objects and method objects. These reflective objects are allocated directly into the permanent generation, and it is sized independently from the other generations." [ref]
In other words, this is where class definitions go (and this explains why you may get the message OutOfMemoryError: PermGen space
if an application loads a large number of classes and/or on redeployment).
Note that PermSize
is additional to the -Xmx
value set by the user on the JVM options. But MaxPermSize
allows for the JVM to be able to grow the PermSize
to the amount specified. Initially when the VM is loaded, the MaxPermSize
will still be the default value (32mb for -client
and 64mb for -server
) but will not actually take up that amount until it is needed. On the other hand, if you were to set BOTH PermSize
and MaxPermSize
to 256mb, you would notice that the overall heap has increased by 256mb additional to the -Xmx
setting.
While the accepted and most upvoted answer is great, I additionally find it useful trying to explain the difference only by words:
merge
rebase
summary: When possible, rebase is almost always better. Making re-integration into the main branch easier.
Because? ? your feature work can be presented as one big ‘patch file’ (aka diff) in respect to the main branch, not having to ‘explain’ multiple parents: At least two, coming from one merge, but likely many more, if there were several merges. Unlike merges, multiple rebases do not add up. (another big plus)
In my case i had some problem with opacity transition so this one fix it:
#dropdown {
transition:.6s opacity;
}
#dropdown.ns {
opacity:0;
transition:.6s all;
}
#dropdown.fade {
opacity:1;
}
Mouse Enter
$('#dropdown').removeClass('ns').addClass('fade');
Mouse Leave
$('#dropdown').addClass('ns').removeClass('fade');
A Type agnostic solution:
for _, key := range reflect.ValueOf(yourMap).MapKeys() {
value := s.MapIndex(key).Interface()
fmt.Println("Key:", key, "Value:", value)
}
A Double
is not an Integer
, so the cast won't work. Note the difference between the Double
class and the double
primitive. Also note that a Double
is a Number
, so it has the method intValue
, which you can use to get the value as a primitive int
.
If you have to use a distutils setup.py
script, there are some commandline options for forcing an installation destination. See http://docs.python.org/install/index.html#alternate-installation. If this problem repeats, you can setup a distutils configuration file, see http://docs.python.org/install/index.html#inst-config-files.
Setting the PYTHONPATH variable is described in tihos post.
A safer way to approach breaking a foreach
or while
loop in PHP is to nest an incrementing counter variable and if
conditional inside of the original loop. This gives you tighter control than break;
which can cause havoc elsewhere on a complicated page.
Example:
// Setup a counter
$ImageCounter = 0;
// Increment through repeater fields
while ( condition ):
$ImageCounter++;
// Only print the first while instance
if ($ImageCounter == 1) {
echo 'It worked just once';
}
// Close while statement
endwhile;
If you've ever backed up your settings (Tools -> Import and Export Settings), you can restore the settings file to get back to a prior state. This is the only thing that I've found to work.
You don't need to use the background animate plugin if you just use separate values like this:
$('.pop').animate({
'background-position-x': '10%',
'background-position-y': '20%'
}, 10000, 'linear');

Here is the approach I use: http://thaiat.github.io/blog/2014/02/26/angularjs-and-requirejs-for-very-large-applications/
The page shows a possible implementation of AngularJS + RequireJS, where the code is split by features and then component type.
You are importing from package "sub". start.py
is not itself in a package even if there is a __init__.py
present.
You would need to start your program from one directory over parent.py
:
./start.py
./pkg/__init__.py
./pkg/parent.py
./pkg/sub/__init__.py
./pkg/sub/relative.py
With start.py
:
import pkg.sub.relative
Now pkg is the top level package and your relative import should work.
If you want to stick with your current layout you can just use import parent
. Because you use start.py
to launch your interpreter, the directory where start.py
is located is in your python path. parent.py
lives there as a separate module.
You can also safely delete the top level __init__.py
, if you don't import anything into a script further up the directory tree.
Just right click on a table and select "backup". The popup will show various options, including "Format", select "plain" and you get plain SQL.
pgAdmin is just using pg_dump to create the dump, also when you want plain SQL.
It uses something like this:
pg_dump --user user --password --format=plain --table=tablename --inserts --attribute-inserts etc.
In order to avoid having to fully specify the git push command you could alternatively modify your git config file:
[remote "gerrit"]
url = https://your.gerrit.repo:44444/repo
fetch = +refs/heads/master:refs/remotes/origin/master
push = refs/heads/master:refs/for/master
Now you can simply:
git fetch gerrit
git push gerrit
This is according to Gerrit
Using this code you can take input till pressing enter of your keyboard.

int i;
for (i = 0; ch[i] != '\n'; i++)
{
scanf("%c ", &ch[i]);

I think you don't have to use sub query in this scenario.You can directly left outer join the DEPRMNT table .
While using Left Outer Join ,don't use columns in the RHS table of the join in the where condition, you ll get wrong output
As an addition to greatbigmassive's discussion of what NULL means, consider what "the existence of a variable" actually means.
In many languages, you have to explicitly declare every variable before you use it; this may determine its type, but more importantly it declares its scope. A variable "exists" everywhere in its scope, and nowhere outside it - be that a whole function, or a single "block".
Within its scope, a variable assigns some meaning to a label which you, the programmer, have chosen. Outside its scope, that label is meaningless (whether you use the same label in a different scope is basically irrelevant).
In PHP, variables do not need to be declared - they come to life as soon as you need them. When you write to a variable for the first time, PHP allocates an entry in memory for that variable. If you read from a variable that doesn't currently have an entry, PHP considers that variable to have the value NULL
.
However, automatic code quality detectors will generally warn you if you use a variable without "initialising" it first. Firstly, this helps detect typos, such as assigning to $thingId
but reading from $thing_id
; but secondly, it forces you to consider the scope over which that variable has meaning, just as a declaration would.
Any code that cares whether a variable "exists" is part of the scope of that variable - whether or not it has been initialised, you as a programmer have given that label meaning at that point of the code. Since you're using it, it must in some sense "exist", and if it exists, it must have an implicit value; in PHP, that implicit value is null
.
Because of the way PHP works, it is possible to write code that treats the namespace of existent variables not as a scope of labels you have given meaning to, but as some kind of key-value store. You can, for instance, run code like this: $var = $_GET['var_name']; $$var = $_GET['var_value'];
. Just because you can, doesn't mean it's a good idea.
It turns out, PHP has a much better way of representing key-value stores, called associative arrays. And although the values of an array can be treated like variables, you can also perform operations on the array as a whole. If you have an associative array, you can test if it contains a key using array_key_exists()
.
You can also use objects in a similar way, dynamically setting properties, in which case you can use property_exists()
in exactly the same way. Of course, if you define a class, you can declare which properties it has - you can even choose between public
, private
, and protected
scope.
Although there is a technical difference between a variable (as opposed to an array key, or an object property) that hasn't been initialised (or that has been explicitly unset()
) and one whose value is null
, any code that considers that difference to be meaningful is using variables in a way they're not meant to be used.

I have updated the code little bit. Hope this might help you.
If you're building a class library, then perhaps the users of your library would like to use your library asynchronously. I think that's the biggest reason right there.
You also don't know how your library is going to be used. Perhaps the users will be processing lots and lots of requests, and doing so asynchronously will help it perform faster and more efficient.
If you can do so simply, try not to put the burden on the users of your library trying to make the flow asynchronous when you can take care of it for them.
The only reason I wouldn't use the async version is if I were trying to support an older version of .NET that does not already have built in async support.
I know this is an old question, but it took me some time to sort this out given the sparse Angular documentation. The RouteProvider and routeParams is the way to go. The route wires up the URL to your Controller/View and the routeParams can be passed into the controller.
Check out the Angular seed project. Within the app.js you'll find an example for the route provider. To use params simply append them like this:
$routeProvider.when('/view1/:param1/:param2', {
templateUrl: 'partials/partial1.html',
controller: 'MyCtrl1'
});
Then in your controller inject $routeParams:
.controller('MyCtrl1', ['$scope','$routeParams', function($scope, $routeParams) {
var param1 = $routeParams.param1;
var param2 = $routeParams.param2;
...
}]);
With this approach you can use params with a url such as: "http://www.example.com/view1/param1/param2"
I had the same problems and it seems that they removed the destroy command from the CLI and you need to do it manually by deleting or renaming the according folders/files and imports, which is really a laborious task.

I've found a temporary solution that will at least let me process this job. I wrote a short AutoIt script that waits for the "Update Links" window to appear, then clicks the "Don't Update" button. Code is as follows:
while 1
if winexists("Microsoft Excel","This workbook contains links to other data sources.") Then
controlclick("Microsoft Excel","This workbook contains links to other data sources.",2)
EndIf
WEnd
So far this seems to be working. I'd really like to find a solution that's entirely VBA, however, so that I can make this a standalone application.
Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) is a technique that lets you query and manipulate data from a database using an object-oriented paradigm. When talking about ORM, most people are referring to a library that implements the Object-Relational Mapping technique, hence the phrase "an ORM".
An ORM library is a completely ordinary library written in your language of choice that encapsulates the code needed to manipulate the data, so you don't use SQL anymore; you interact directly with an object in the same language you're using.
For example, here is a completely imaginary case with a pseudo language:
You have a book class, you want to retrieve all the books of which the author is "Linus". Manually, you would do something like that:
book_list = new List();
sql = "SELECT book FROM library WHERE author = 'Linus'";
data = query(sql); // I over simplify ...
while (row = data.next())
{
book = new Book();
book.setAuthor(row.get('author');
book_list.add(book);
}
With an ORM library, it would look like this:
book_list = BookTable.query(author="Linus");
The mechanical part is taken care of automatically via the ORM library.
Using ORM saves a lot of time because:
Using an ORM library is more flexible because:
But ORM can be a pain:
for
loop.Well, use one. Whichever ORM library you choose, they all use the same principles. There are a lot of ORM libraries around here:
If you want to try an ORM library in Web programming, you'd be better off using an entire framework stack like:
Do not try to write your own ORM, unless you are trying to learn something. This is a gigantic piece of work, and the old ones took a lot of time and work before they became reliable.
First of all checkout the project into your system in a folder. Then remove the .svn folder from conflict project and copy the .svn folder from new checkout folder and paste into your working copy folder. Then problem is solved.
I'll tackle your second question first. Yes, the indentation can be reset by using a browser reset like Eric Meyers. Or a simple ul { margin: 0; padding: 0;}
as indentation is, by default, enforced on the ul
element.
As to the why, I suspect its to do with the current level of nesting, as unordered lists allow for nesting or maybe to do with the bullets positioning.
Edit: As Guffa mentioned, the list indentation is to ensure that the markers do not fall off the left edge.
As you were saying the groupby
method of a pd.DataFrame
object can do the job.
Example
L = ['A','A','B','B','B','C']
N = [1,2,5,5,4,6]
import pandas as pd
df = pd.DataFrame(zip(L,N),columns = list('LN'))
groups = df.groupby(df.L)
groups.groups
{'A': [0, 1], 'B': [2, 3, 4], 'C': [5]}
which gives and index-wise description of the groups.
To get elements of single groups, you can do, for instance
groups.get_group('A')
L N
0 A 1
1 A 2
groups.get_group('B')
L N
2 B 5
3 B 5
4 B 4
Here is an implementation you can use (updated to use more up to date Java conventions - for:each
loop, StringBuilder
instead of StringBuffer
):
public static String md5(final String s) {
final String MD5 = "MD5";
try {
// Create MD5 Hash
MessageDigest digest = java.security.MessageDigest
.getInstance(MD5);
digest.update(s.getBytes());
byte messageDigest[] = digest.digest();
// Create Hex String
StringBuilder hexString = new StringBuilder();
for (byte aMessageDigest : messageDigest) {
String h = Integer.toHexString(0xFF & aMessageDigest);
while (h.length() < 2)
h = "0" + h;
hexString.append(h);
}
return hexString.toString();
} catch (NoSuchAlgorithmException e) {
e.printStackTrace();
}
return "";
}
Although it is not recommended for systems that involve even the basic level of security (MD5 is considered broken and can be easily exploited), it is sometimes enough for basic tasks.
Well, according to Google's lectures (maybe here, I don't remember) , you should consider using Fragments whenever it's possible, as it makes your code easier to maintain and control.
However, I think that on some cases it can get too complex, as the activity that hosts the fragments need to navigate/communicate between them.
I think you should decide by yourself what's best for you. It's usually not that hard to convert an activity to a fragment and vice versa.
I've created a post about this dillema here, if you wish to read some further.

{

}
}

{
MessageBox.Show("The quantity should be decimal value.", "Information", MessageBoxButtons.OK, MessageBoxIcon.Information);
e.Cancel = true;
return;

If you just want the content as string
, then the simple solution is to use the ReadFile
function from the io/ioutil
package. This function returns a slice of bytes
which you can easily convert to a string
.
package main
import (
"fmt"
"io/ioutil"
)
func main() {
b, err := ioutil.ReadFile("file.txt") // just pass the file name
if err != nil {
fmt.Print(err)
}
fmt.Println(b) // print the content as 'bytes'
str := string(b) // convert content to a 'string'
fmt.Println(str) // print the content as a 'string'
}

Following Joe Shaw's answer about multi-threaded code not to work as expected, I figured that the runcall
method in cProfile is merely doing self.enable()

calls around the profiled function call, so you can simply do that yourself and have whatever code you want in-between with minimal interference with existing code.

If you are running out of connections like this, chances are excellent that you are not closing the connections that you have open.
Review code that opens connections and ensure the connections are closed as soon as practical. Typically you want to make use of the using keyword around anything that implements IDisposable (including database connections) to ensure that such objects are disposed as soon as they leave the scope where they are needed.
You can check the current number of active connections with this query:
show processlist
You cannot use delete for an array, and you cannot use delete [] for a non-array.

Getting Row Count
$stmt = $db->query('SELECT id FROM Employee where name ="'.$name.'"');
$row_count = $stmt->rowCount();
echo $row_count.' rows selected';
Method 2: Statements With Parameters
$stmt = $db->prepare("SELECT id FROM Employee WHERE name=?");
$stmt->execute(array($name));
$rows = $stmt->fetchAll(PDO::FETCH_ASSOC);
Method 3:Bind parameters
$stmt = $db->prepare("SELECT id FROM Employee WHERE name=?");
$stmt->bindValue(1, $name, PDO::PARAM_STR);
$stmt->execute();
$rows = $stmt->fetchAll(PDO::FETCH_ASSOC);
**bind with named parameters**
$stmt = $db->prepare("SELECT id FROM Employee WHERE name=:name");
$stmt->bindValue(':name', $name, PDO::PARAM_STR);
$stmt->execute();
$rows = $stmt->fetchAll(PDO::FETCH_ASSOC);
or

$stmt->execute(array(':name' => $name));
$rows = $stmt->fetchAll(PDO::FETCH_ASSOC);

You said any suggestions wold be helpful, so currently I resolved my DataTables "cannot read property 'style' of undefined" problem but my problem was basically using wrong indexes at data table initiation phase's columnDefs
section. I got 9 columns and the indexes are 0, 1, 2, .. , 8 but I was using indexes for 9 and 10 so after fixing the wrong index issue the fault has disappeared. I hope this helps.
In short, you got to watch your columns amount and indexes if consistent everywhere.

As yum install php-mbstring
then httpd -k restart
didn't do it for me, I think these options should be compiled, as documented here:
Now, configure and build PHP. This is where you customize PHP with various options, like which extensions will be enabled. Run ./configure --help for a list of available options. In our example we'll do a simple configure with Apache 2 and MySQL support.
If you built Apache from source, as described above, the below example will match your path for apxs, but if you installed Apache some other way, you'll need to adjust the path to apxs accordingly. Note that some distros may rename apxs to apxs2.
cd ../php-NN ./configure --with-apxs2=/usr/local/apache2/bin/apxs --with-mysql --enable-mbstring make make install
If you decide to change your configure options after installation, you'll need to re-run the configure, make, and make install steps. You only need to restart apache for the new module to take effect. A recompile of Apache is not needed.
Note that unless told otherwise, 'make install' will also install PEAR, various PHP tools such as phpize, install the PHP CLI, and more.
Though this page says it's optional:
--enable-mbstring Allows multibyte character string support. This is optional, as slower custom code will be used if not available.
This worked for me (using jQuery 2.1)
$(document).ajaxSend(function(elm, xhr, s){
if (s.type == "POST") {
s.data += s.data?"&":"";
s.data += "_token=" + $('#csrf-token').val();
}
});
or this:
$(document).ajaxSend(function(elm, xhr, s){
if (s.type == "POST") {
xhr.setRequestHeader('x-csrf-token', $('#csrf-token').val());
}
});
(where #csrf-token is the element containing the token)
This is a potential duplicate of Finding rows that don't contain numeric data in Oracle. Also see: How can I determine if a string is numeric in SQL?.
Here's a solution based on Michael Durrant's that works for integers.
SELECT foo
FROM bar
WHERE DECODE(TRIM(TRANSLATE(your_number,'0123456789',' ')), NULL, 'number','contains char') = 'number'
Adrian Carneiro posted a solution that works for decimals and others. However, as Justin Cave pointed out, this will incorrectly classify strings like '123.45.23.234' or '131+234'.
SELECT foo
FROM bar
WHERE DECODE(TRIM(TRANSLATE(your_number,'+-.0123456789',' ')), NULL, 'number','contains char') = 'number'
If you need a solution without PL/SQL or REGEXP_LIKE, this may help.
You can get a list of all matching elements with a list comprehension:

If you simply want to determine if the list contains any element that matches and do it (relatively) efficiently, you can do
def contains(list, filter):
for x in list:
if filter(x):
return True
return False
if contains(myList, lambda x: x.n == 3) # True if any element has .n==3
# do stuff
For POD class members, it makes no difference, it's just a matter of style. For class members which are classes, then it avoids an unnecessary call to a default constructor. Consider:
class A
{
public:
A() { x = 0; }
A(int x_) { x = x_; }
int x;
};
class B
{
public:
B()
{
a.x = 3;
}
private:
A a;
};
In this case, the constructor for B
will call the default constructor for A
, and then initialize a.x
to 3. A better way would be for B
's constructor to directly call A
's constructor in the initializer list:
B()
: a(3)
{
}
This would only call A
's A(int)
constructor and not its default constructor. In this example, the difference is negligible, but imagine if you will that A
's default constructor did more, such as allocating memory or opening files. You wouldn't want to do that unnecessarily.
Furthermore, if a class doesn't have a default constructor, or you have a const
member variable, you must use an initializer list:
class A
{
public:
A(int x_) { x = x_; }
int x;
};
class B
{
public:
B() : a(3), y(2) // 'a' and 'y' MUST be initialized in an initializer list;
{ // it is an error not to do so
}
private:
A a;
const int y;
};
Alternatively, you can install "SourceForge Notepad++ Compare Plugin 1.5.6". It provides compare functionality between two files and show the differences between two files.

To get an element by its ID, use this:
document.getElementById("p2")
Instead of:
document.getElementsByName("p2")
So the final product would be:
document.getElementsById("p2").style.visibility = "hidden";
I think there is no need to specify
'http://localhost:8080`"
in the URI part.. because. if you specify it, You'll have to change it manually for every environment.
Only
"/restws/json/product/get" also works
The good way to get all the members from a group is to, make the DN of the group as the searchDN and pass the "member" as attribute to get in the search function. All of the members of the group can now be found by going through the attribute values returned by the search. The filter can be made generic like (objectclass=*).
Swift 4
//MARK:- Show Status Bar
UIApplication.shared.isStatusBarHidden = false
//MARK:- Hide Status Bar
UIApplication.shared.isStatusBarHidden = true
Pretty self explanatory.
repeat{
statements...
if(condition){
break
}
}
Or something like that I would think. To get the effect of the do while loop, simply check for your condition at the end of the group of statements.
this has been modified in codeigniter 2.2.1...usually not best practice to modify core files, I would always check for updates and 2.2.1 came out in Jan 2015
I've written a simple wrapper around git-checkout-index
that you can use like this:
git export ~/the/destination/dir
If the destination directory already exists, you'll need to add -f
or --force
.
Installation is simple; just drop the script somewhere in your PATH
, and make sure it's executable.
I think awk
would be the best tool for this as it can both filter and perform the necessary string manipulation functions on filtered lines:
tail -f logfile | awk '/org.springframework/ {print substr($0, 6)}'
or
tail -f logfile | awk '/org.springframework/ && sub(/^.{5}/,"",$0)'
You need to transform the object you are getting back into an array in the format that jQueryUI expects.
You can use $.map
to transform the dealers
object into that array.
$('#dealerName').autocomplete({
source: function (request, response) {
$.getJSON("/example/location/example.json?term=" + request.term, function (data) {
response($.map(data.dealers, function (value, key) {
return {
label: value,
value: key
};
}));
});
},
minLength: 2,
delay: 100
});
Note that when you select an item, the "key" will be placed in the text box. You can change this by tweaking the label
and value
properties that $.map
's callback function return.
Alternatively, if you have access to the server-side code that is generating the JSON, you could change the way the data is returned. As long as the data:
label
property, a value
property, or both, orIn other words, if you can format the data like this:
[{ value: "1463", label: "dealer 5"}, { value: "269", label: "dealer 6" }]
or this:
["dealer 5", "dealer 6"]
Then your JavaScript becomes much simpler:
$('#dealerName').autocomplete({
source: "/example/location/example.json"
});
- What is the difference between connection and read timeout for sockets?
The connection timeout is the timeout in making the initial connection; i.e. completing the TCP connection handshake. The read timeout is the timeout on waiting to read data1. If the server (or network) fails to deliver any data <timeout> seconds after the client makes a socket read
call, a read timeout error will be raised.
- What does connection timeout set to "infinity" mean? In what situation can it remain in an infinitive loop? and what can trigger that the infinity-loop dies?
It means that the connection attempt can potentially block for ever. There is no infinite loop, but the attempt to connect can be unblocked by another thread closing the socket. (A Thread.interrupt()
call may also do the trick ... not sure.)
- What does read timeout set to "infinity" mean? In what situation can it remain in an infinite loop? What can trigger that the infinite loop to end?
It means that a call to read
on the socket stream may block for ever. Once again there is no infinite loop, but the read
can be unblocked by a Thread.interrupt()
call, closing the socket, and (of course) the other end sending data or closing the connection.
1 - It is not ... as one commenter thought ... the timeout on how long a socket can be open, or idle.
You could use the React Immutability helpers
import update from 'react-addons-update';
// ...
case 'SOME_ACTION':
return update(state, {
contents: {
1: {
text: {$set: action.payload}
}
}
});
Although I would imagine you'd probably be doing something more like this?
case 'SOME_ACTION':
return update(state, {
contents: {
[action.id]: {
text: {$set: action.payload}
}
}
});
The best approach I know is to do an update, followed by an insert. The "overhead of a select" is necessary, but it is not a terrible burden since you are searching on the primary key, which is fast.
You should be able to modify the below statements with your table & field names to do what you want.
--first, update any matches
UPDATE DESTINATION_TABLE DT
SET
MY_FIELD1 = (
SELECT MY_FIELD1
FROM SOURCE_TABLE ST
WHERE ST.PRIMARY_KEY = DT.PRIMARY_KEY
)
,MY_FIELD2 = (
SELECT MY_FIELD2
FROM SOURCE_TABLE ST
WHERE ST.PRIMARY_KEY = DT.PRIMARY_KEY
)
WHERE EXISTS(
SELECT ST2.PRIMARY_KEY
FROM
SOURCE_TABLE ST2
,DESTINATION_TABLE DT2
WHERE ST2.PRIMARY_KEY = DT2.PRIMARY_KEY
);
--second, insert any non-matches
INSERT INTO DESTINATION_TABLE(
MY_FIELD1
,MY_FIELD2
)
SELECT
ST.MY_FIELD1
,NULL AS MY_FIELD2 --insert NULL into this field
FROM
SOURCE_TABLE ST
WHERE NOT EXISTS(
SELECT DT2.PRIMARY_KEY
FROM DESTINATION_TABLE DT2
WHERE DT2.PRIMARY_KEY = ST.PRIMARY_KEY
);
If you specifically need an int or float, you could try "is not int" or "is not float":
user_input = ''
while user_input is not int:
try:
user_input = int(input('Enter a number: '))
break
except ValueError:
print('Please enter a valid number: ')
print('You entered {}'.format(a))
If you only need to work with ints, then the most elegant solution I've seen is the ".isdigit()" method:
a = ''
while a.isdigit() == False:
a = input('Enter a number: ')
print('You entered {}'.format(a))
I know im very late to answer this. But it will help others, I was also stucked on this.
Here is what i did to get it work.
String[] namesArr = (String[]) names.toArray(new String[names.size()]);
Linting is the process of running a program that will analyse code for potential errors.
See lint on wikipedia:
lint was the name originally given to a particular program that flagged some suspicious and non-portable constructs (likely to be bugs) in C language source code. The term is now applied generically to tools that flag suspicious usage in software written in any computer language.
It is an attribute, but a boolean one (so it doesn't need a name, just a value -- I know, it's weird). You can set the property equivalent in Javascript:
document.getElementsByName("myButton")[0].disabled = true;
Congrats to the previous answers... But I realised if the icons are in a row (say three icons as represented in the image above), you need to play around with columns and rows.
Here is the code
Column(
crossAxisAlignment: CrossAxisAlignment.start,
children: <Widget>[
Row(
mainAxisAlignment: MainAxisAlignment.spaceAround,
children: [
FlatButton(
onPressed: () {},
child: Icon(
Icons.call,
)),
FlatButton(
onPressed: () {},
child: Icon(
Icons.message,
)),
FlatButton(
onPressed: () {},
child: Icon(
Icons.block,
color: Colors.red,
)),
],
),
Row(
mainAxisAlignment: MainAxisAlignment.spaceAround,
children: <Widget>[
Text(
' Call',
),
Text(
'Message',
),
Text(
'Block',
style: TextStyle(letterSpacing: 2.0, color: Colors.red),
),
],
),
],
),
I know I am replying too late but for anyone else who needs this, run following command from your local machine
cat ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub | ssh [email protected] "mkdir -p ~/.ssh && cat >> ~/.ssh/authorized_keys && chmod 600 ~/.ssh/authorized_keys"
this has worked perfectly fine. All you need to do is just to replace
with your own user for that particular host
Here's some short Python functions for your copy and paste ease, including a function to scale an entire list.
def scale_number(unscaled, to_min, to_max, from_min, from_max):
return (to_max-to_min)*(unscaled-from_min)/(from_max-from_min)+to_min
def scale_list(l, to_min, to_max):
return [scale_number(i, to_min, to_max, min(l), max(l)) for i in l]
Which can be used like so:
scale_list([1,3,4,5], 0, 100)
[0.0, 50.0, 75.0, 100.0]
In my case I wanted to scale a logarithmic curve, like so:
scale_list([math.log(i+1) for i in range(5)], 0, 50)
[0.0, 21.533827903669653, 34.130309724299266, 43.06765580733931, 50.0]
For me helped only this code line:
Assembly.Load("System.Runtime, Version=4.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b03f5f7f11d50a3a");
I've playing (or fighting) with this problem for two days. IMO the best approach is just to create an extension class and a protocol, like this:
@protocol UINavigationControllerBackButtonDelegate <NSObject>
/**
* Indicates that the back button was pressed.
* If this message is implemented the pop logic must be manually handled.
*/
- (void)backButtonPressed;
@end
@interface UINavigationController(BackButtonHandler)
@end
@implementation UINavigationController(BackButtonHandler)
- (BOOL)navigationBar:(UINavigationBar *)navigationBar shouldPopItem:(UINavigationItem *)item
{
UIViewController *topViewController = self.topViewController;
BOOL wasBackButtonClicked = topViewController.navigationItem == item;
SEL backButtonPressedSel = @selector(backButtonPressed);
if (wasBackButtonClicked && [topViewController respondsToSelector:backButtonPressedSel]) {
[topViewController performSelector:backButtonPressedSel];
return NO;
}
else {
[self popViewControllerAnimated:YES];
return YES;
}
}
@end
This works because UINavigationController
will receive a call to navigationBar:shouldPopItem:
every time a view controller is popped. There we detect if back was pressed or not (any other button).
The only thing you have to do is implement the protocol in the view controller where back is pressed.
Remember to manually pop the view controller inside backButtonPressedSel
, if everything is ok.
If you already have subclassed UINavigationViewController
and implemented navigationBar:shouldPopItem:
don't worry, this won't interfere with it.
You may also be interested in disable the back gesture.
if ([self.navigationController respondsToSelector:@selector(interactivePopGestureRecognizer)]) {
self.navigationController.interactivePopGestureRecognizer.enabled = NO;
}
The proper syntax would be - ALTER TABLE Table_Name ADD UNIQUE (column_name)
Example
ALTER TABLE 0_value_addition_setup ADD UNIQUE (`value_code`)
Like some here, I ended up writing a wrapper around the JSch library.
It's called way-secshell and it is hosted on GitHub:
https://github.com/objectos/way-secshell
// scp myfile.txt localhost:/tmp
File file = new File("myfile.txt");
Scp res = WaySSH.scp()
.file(file)
.toHost("localhost")
.at("/tmp")
.send();
Presuming the autoincrement column in customer_data
is named Id
, you can do:
SELECT CONCAT(title,' ',forename,' ',surname) AS name *
FROM customer c
INNER JOIN customer_data d
ON c.customer_id=d.customer_id
WHERE name LIKE '%Smith%'
AND d.ID = (
Select Max(D2.Id)
From customer_data As D2
Where D2.customer_id = D.customer_id
)
LIMIT 10, 20
UPDATED query:
select id from t where id < (select max(id) from t);
It'll select all but the last row from the table t.
There is another away if you don't like to change System locale but the JVM. you can setup a System (or user) Environment variable JAVA_TOOL_OPTIONS
and set its value to -Duser.language=en-US
or any other language-REGION you want.
You can use serialize()
like this:
$.ajax({
cache: false,
url: 'test.php',
data: $('form').serialize(),
datatype: 'json',
success: function(data) {
}
});
You can create an std::string
#include <string>
#include <vector>
int main(int argc, char *argv[])
{
// check if there is more than one argument and use the second one
// (the first argument is the executable)
if (argc > 1)
{
std::string arg1(argv[1]);
// do stuff with arg1
}
// Or, copy all arguments into a container of strings
std::vector<std::string> allArgs(argv, argv + argc);
}
An alternative to kubi's answer is to have a look at the .git/config
file which shows the local repository configuration:
cat .git/config
There is a specific method to do this:
$objPHPExcel->getActiveSheet()->mergeCells('A1:C1');
You can also use:
$objPHPExcel->setActiveSheetIndex(0)->mergeCells('A1:C1');
That should do the trick.
Put the part from BEGIN....END{}
inside a file and name it like my.awk.
And then execute it like below:
awk -f my.awk life.csv >output.txt
Also I see a field separator as ,
. You can add that in the begin block of the .awk file as FS=","
You need access to /private/etc/
so, no. you cant.
Use JSON to transfer data types (arrays and objects) between client and server.
In PHP:
In JavaScript:
PHP:
echo json_encode($id_numbers);
JavaScript:
id_numbers = JSON.parse(msg);
As Wolfgang mentioned, you can give a fourth parameter to jQuery to automatically decode JSON for you.
id_numbers = new Array();
$.ajax({
url:"Example.php",
type:"POST",
success:function(msg){
id_numbers = msg;
},
dataType:"json"
});
i was facing the same problem. the solution is...Copy the link http://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse/ then in eclipse go to
Help > Install New Software > Add(work with) > past the link on locations > ok > select all > next
this will solve your problem.
Although it is quite an old question, another approach is to change AppendDataBoundItems property. So the code will be:
<asp:DropDownList ID="DropDownList1" runat="server" AutoPostBack="True"
OnSelectedIndexChanged="DropDownList1_SelectedIndexChanged"
AppendDataBoundItems="True">
<asp:ListItem Selected="True" Value="0" Text="Select"></asp:ListItem>
</asp:DropDownList>
If you want movie details api you can consider
OMDB API which is Open movies Database Returns IBDB Rating, IMDB Votes and you can include Rotten Tomato rating too.
Or else You can use
My Api Films which allows you to search with IMDB ID and returns detailed information but it has request limits.
open Terminal
cd /usr/local/mysql/support-files
sudo nano mysql.server
Find the lines:
basedir=
datadir=
change them to
basedir=/usr/local/mysql
datadir=/usr/local/mysql/data
You return a sorted array from the fileID property by following way:
Swift 2
let sortedArray = images.sorted({ $0.fileID > $1.fileID })
Swift 3 OR 4
let sortedArray = images.sorted(by: { $0.fileID > $1.fileID })
Swift 5.0
let sortedArray = images.sorted {
$0.fileID < $1.fileID
}
I've been on different threads on the past few hours trying to find a solution for my problem, to no avail. I see that many developers share this problem, and I think people here know about this. I have multiple images inside a UIScrollView
, trying to get tap events on them.
I am not getting any events from an UIImangeView
, but I do get an event from a similar UILable
with very similar parameters I am setting to it. Under iOS 5.1.
I have already done the following:
UIImageView
.UIImageView
, didn't help any.Attaching some code below, in this code I initialize both a UIImageView
and UILabel
, the label works fine in terms of firing events. I tried keeping out irrelevant code.
UIImageView *single_view = [[UIImageView alloc]initWithFrame:CGRectMake(200, 200, 100, 100)];
single_view.image = img;
single_view.layer.zPosition = 4;
UITapGestureRecognizer *singleTap = [[UITapGestureRecognizer alloc] initWithTarget:self action:@selector(singleTapGestureCaptured:)];
[single_view addGestureRecognizer:singleTap];
[single_view setMultipleTouchEnabled:YES];
[single_view setUserInteractionEnabled:YES];
[self.myScrollView addSubview:single_view];
self.myScrollView.userInteractionEnabled = YES;
UILabel *testLabel = [[UILabel alloc] initWithFrame:CGRectMake(100, 100, 100, 100)];
testLabel.backgroundColor = [UIColor redColor];
[self.myScrollView addSubview:testLabel];
[testLabel addGestureRecognizer:singleTap];
[testLabel setMultipleTouchEnabled:YES];
[testLabel setUserInteractionEnabled:YES];
testLabel.layer.zPosition = 4;
And the method which handles the event:
- (void)singleTapGestureCaptured:(UITapGestureRecognizer *)gesture
{
UIView *tappedView = [gesture.view hitTest:[gesture locationInView:gesture.view] withEvent:nil];
NSLog(@"Touch event on view: %@", [tappedView class]);
}
As said, the label tap is received.

Slightly slower alternative, just for the records:

Maybe this is what you are looking for. To check if a file exist and is not a link.
Try this command:
file="/usr/mda"
[ -f $file ] && [ ! -L $file ] && echo "$file exists and is not a symlink"
It's a linker error. ld
is the linker, so if you get an error message ending with "ld returned 1 exit status", that tells you that it's a linker error.
The error message tells you that none of the object files you're linking against contains a definition for avergecolumns
. The reason for that is that the function you've defined is called averagecolumns
(in other words: you misspelled the function name when calling the function (and presumably in the header file as well - otherwise you'd have gotten a different error at compile time)).
I meant in the template()
call..
You just need to pass the results as an object. So instead of calling
var html = template(data);
do
var html = template({apidata: data});
and use {{#each apidata}}
in your template code

code that crashed)
If you are trying to delete empty spaces , try using =''
instead of is null
. Hence , if your row contains empty spaces , is null
will not capture those records. Empty space is not null and null is not empty space.
Dec Hex Binary Char-acter Description
0 00 00000000 NUL null

#or even better ,
delete from foo_table where rtrim(ltrim(isnull(bar,'')))='';
The problem with :scriptnames
, :commands
, :functions
, and similar Vim commands, is that they display information in a large slab of text, which is very hard to visually parse.
To get around this, I wrote Headlights, a plugin that adds a menu to Vim showing all loaded plugins, TextMate style. The added benefit is that it shows plugin commands, mappings, files, and other bits and pieces.
IsEmpty()
would be the quickest way to check for that.
IsNull()
would seem like a similar solution, but keep in mind Null has to be assigned to the cell; it's not inherently created in the cell.
Also, you can check the cell by:
count()
counta()
Len(range("BCell").Value) = 0
The problem is that you are calling toString()
on the InputStream
object itself. This will return a String
representation of the InputStream
object not the actual PDF document.
You want to read the PDF only as bytes as PDF is a binary format. You will then be able to write out that same byte
array and it will be a valid PDF as it has not been modified.
e.g. to read a file as bytes
File file = new File(sourcePath);
InputStream inputStream = new FileInputStream(file);
byte[] bytes = new byte[file.length()];
inputStream.read(bytes);
Typical append
usage is
a = append(a, x)
because append
may either modify its argument in-place or return a copy of its argument with an additional entry, depending on the size and capacity of its input. Using a slice that was previously appended to may give unexpected results, e.g.
a := []int{1,2,3}
a = append(a, 4)
fmt.Println(a)
append(a[:3], 5)
fmt.Println(a)
may print
[1 2 3 4]
[1 2 3 5]
Why are you using editors to just look at a (large) file?
Under *nix or Cygwin, just use less. (There is a famous saying – "less is more, more or less" – because "less" replaced the earlier Unix command "more", with the addition that you could scroll back up.) Searching and navigating under less is very similar to Vim, but there is no swap file and little RAM used.
There is a Win32 port of GNU less. See the "less" section of the answer above.
Perl is good for quick scripts, and its ..
(range flip-flop) operator makes for a nice selection mechanism to limit the crud you have to wade through.
For example:
$ perl -n -e 'print if ( 1000000 .. 2000000)' humongo.txt | less
This will extract everything from line 1 million to line 2 million, and allow you to sift the output manually in less.
Another example:
$ perl -n -e 'print if ( /regex one/ .. /regex two/)' humongo.txt | less
This starts printing when the "regular expression one" finds something, and stops when the "regular expression two" find the end of an interesting block. It may find multiple blocks. Sift the output...
This is another useful tool you can use. To quote the Wikipedia article:
logparser is a flexible command line utility that was initially written by Gabriele Giuseppini, a Microsoft employee, to automate tests for IIS logging. It was intended for use with the Windows operating system, and was included with the IIS 6.0 Resource Kit Tools. The default behavior of logparser works like a "data processing pipeline", by taking an SQL expression on the command line, and outputting the lines containing matches for the SQL expression.
Microsoft describes Logparser as a powerful, versatile tool that provides universal query access to text-based data such as log files, XML files and CSV files, as well as key data sources on the Windows operating system such as the Event Log, the Registry, the file system, and Active Directory. The results of the input query can be custom-formatted in text based output, or they can be persisted to more specialty targets like SQL, SYSLOG, or a chart.
Example usage:
C:\>logparser.exe -i:textline -o:tsv "select Index, Text from 'c:\path\to\file.log' where line > 1000 and line < 2000"
C:\>logparser.exe -i:textline -o:tsv "select Index, Text from 'c:\path\to\file.log' where line like '%pattern%'"
100 MB isn't too big. 3 GB is getting kind of big. I used to work at a print & mail facility that created about 2% of U.S. first class mail. One of the systems for which I was the tech lead accounted for about 15+% of the pieces of mail. We had some big files to debug here and there.
Feel free to add more tools and information here. This answer is community wiki for a reason! We all need more advice on dealing with large amounts of data...
Clickable smartphone link code:
The following link can be used to make a clickable phone link. You can copy the code below and paste it into your webpage, then edit with your phone number. This code may not work on all phones but does work for iPhone, Droid / Android, and Blackberry.
<a href="tel:1-847-555-5555">1-847-555-5555</a>
Phone number links can be used with the dashes, as shown above, or without them as well as in the following example:
<a href="tel:18475555555">1-847-555-5555</a>
It is also possible to use any text in the link as long as the phone number is set up with the "tel:18475555555" as in this example:
<a href="tel:18475555555">Click Here To Call Support 1-847-555-5555</a>
Below is a clickable telephone hyperlink you can check out. In most non-phone browsers this link will give you a "The webpage cannot be displayed" error or nothing will happen.
NOTE: The iPhone Safari browser will automatically detect a phone number on a page and will convert the text into a call link without using any of the code on this page.
WTAI smartphone link code: The WTAI or "Wireless Telephony Application Interface" link code is shown below. This code is considered to be the correct mobile phone protocol and will work on smartphones like Droid, however, it may not work for Apple Safari on iPhone and the above code is recommended.

The difference between include()
and require()
arises when the file being included cannot be found: include()
will release a warning (E_WARNING) and the script will continue, whereas require()
will release a fatal error (E_COMPILE_ERROR) and terminate the script. If the file being included is critical to the rest of the script running correctly then you need to use require()
.

Use .text() to extract the content of the div
var text = $('#field-function_purpose').text()
This may not be the prettiest, but works for any dimension
a = np.array([[-1,2], [1,5], [6,7], [5,2], [3,4], [0, 0], [-1,-1]])
ranges = (0,4), (0,4)
def conditionRange(X : np.ndarray, ranges : list) -> np.ndarray:
idx = set()
for column, r in enumerate(ranges):
tmp = np.where(np.logical_and(X[:, column] >= r[0], X[:, column] <= r[1]))[0]
if idx:
idx = idx & set(tmp)
else:
idx = set(tmp)
idx = np.array(list(idx))
return X[idx, :]
b = conditionRange(a, ranges)
print(b)
There is none. Alas, you have to type out the full type name.
Edit: 7 years after being posted, type inference for local variables (with var
) was added in Java 10.
Edit: 6 years after being posted, to collect some of the comments from below:
The reason C# has the var
keyword is because it's possible to have Types that have no name in .NET. Eg:
var myData = new { a = 1, b = "2" };
In this case, it would be impossible to give a proper type to myData
. 6 years ago, this was impossible in Java (all Types had names, even if they were extremely verbose and unweildy). I do not know if this has changed in the mean time.
var
is not the same as dynamic
. var
iables are still 100% statically typed. This will not compile:
var myString = "foo";
myString = 3;
var
is also useful when the type is obvious from context. For example:
var currentUser = User.GetCurrent();
I can say that in any code that I am responsible for, currentUser
has a User
or derived class in it. Obviously, if your implementation of User.GetCurrent
return an int, then maybe this is a detriment to you.
This has nothing to do with var
, but if you have weird inheritance hierarchies where you shadow methods with other methods (eg new public void DoAThing()
), don't forget that non-virtual methods are affected by the Type they are cast as.
I can't imagine a real world scenario where this is indicative of good design, but this may not work as you expect:
class Foo {
public void Non() {}
public virtual void Virt() {}
}
class Bar : Foo {
public new void Non() {}
public override void Virt() {}
}
class Baz {
public static Foo GetFoo() {
return new Bar();
}
}
var foo = Baz.GetFoo();
foo.Non(); // <- Foo.Non, not Bar.Non
foo.Virt(); // <- Bar.Virt
var bar = (Bar)foo;
bar.Non(); // <- Bar.Non, not Foo.Non
bar.Virt(); // <- Still Bar.Virt
As indicated, virtual methods are not affected by this.
No, there is no non-clumsy way to initialize a var
without an actual variable.
var foo1 = "bar"; //good
var foo2; //bad, what type?
var foo3 = null; //bad, null doesn't have a type
var foo4 = default(var); //what?
var foo5 = (object)null; //legal, but go home, you're drunk
In this case, just do it the old fashioned way:
object foo6;
You can combine insertAdjacentHTML method and document.currentScript property.
The insertAdjacentHTML()
method of the Element interface parses the specified text as HTML or XML and inserts the resulting nodes into the DOM tree at a specified position:
'beforebegin'
: Before the element itself.'afterbegin'
: Just inside the element, before its first child.'beforeend'
: Just inside the element, after its last child.'afterend'
: After the element itself.The document.currentScript
property returns the <script>
element whose script is currently being processed. Best position will be beforebegin — new HTML will be inserted before <script>
itself. To match document.write
's native behavior, one would position the text afterend, but then the nodes from consecutive calls to the function aren't placed in the same order as you called them (like document.write
does), but in reverse. The order in which your HTML appears is probably more important than where they're place relative to the <script>
tag, hence the use of beforebegin.
document.currentScript.insertAdjacentHTML(
'beforebegin',
'This is a document.write alternative'
)

Update: Since Emacs 24.4:
tab-stop-list
is now implicitly extended to infinity. Its default value is changed tonil
which means a tab stop everytab-width
columns.
which means that there's no longer any need to be setting tab-stop-list
in the way shown below, as you can keep it set to nil
.
Original answer follows...
It always pains me slightly seeing things like (setq tab-stop-list 4 8 12 ................)
when the number-sequence
function is sitting there waiting to be used.
(setq tab-stop-list (number-sequence 4 200 4))
or
(defun my-generate-tab-stops (&optional width max)
"Return a sequence suitable for `tab-stop-list'."
(let* ((max-column (or max 200))
(tab-width (or width tab-width))
(count (/ max-column tab-width)))
(number-sequence tab-width (* tab-width count) tab-width)))
(setq tab-width 4)
(setq tab-stop-list (my-generate-tab-stops))
This worked for me, Thanks to ungalcrys

SOLUTION :-
Guess, this error is most probably returned by Local Squid deployed in the server.
So, it worked fine and good after replacing localhost by the local_ip in which the ElasticSearch has been deployed.
You can also use the direct deploy method using curl. You don't need a pom for your file for it but it will not be generated as well so if you want one, you will have to upload it separately.
Here is the command:
version=1.2.3
artefact="myartefact"
repoId=yourrepository
groupId=org.myorg
REPO_URL=http://localhost:8081/nexus
curl -u nexususername:nexuspassword --upload-file filename.tgz $REPO_URL/content/repositories/$repoId/$groupId/$artefact/$version/$artefact-$version.tgz
uint16_t
is guaranteed to be a unsigned integer that is 16 bits large
unsigned short int
is guaranteed to be a unsigned short integer
, where short integer
is defined by the compiler (and potentially compiler flags) you are currently using. For most compilers for x86 hardware a short integer
is 16 bits large.
Also note that per the ANSI C standard only the minimum size of 16 bits is defined, the maximum size is up to the developer of the compiler
Minimum Type Limits
Any compiler conforming to the Standard must also respect the following limits with respect to the range of values any particular type may accept. Note that these are lower limits: an implementation is free to exceed any or all of these. Note also that the minimum range for a char is dependent on whether or not a char is considered to be signed or unsigned.
Type Minimum Range
signed char -127 to +127 unsigned char 0 to 255 short int -32767 to +32767 unsigned short int 0 to 65535
You've got the right idea. Looks to me like you just need to change .tag
's position:relative
to position:absolute
, and add position:relative
to .container
.
Adding you a quick example using git plugin GitSCM:
checkout([
$class: 'GitSCM',
branches: [[name: '*/master']],
doGenerateSubmoduleConfigurations: false,
extensions: [[$class: 'CleanCheckout']],
submoduleCfg: [],
userRemoteConfigs: [[credentialsId: '<gitCredentials>', url: '<gitRepoURL>']]
])
in your pipeline
stage('checkout'){
steps{
script{
checkout
}
}
}
An alternate solution could be to alter the flow of execution of your script by using the GOTO
statement...
DECLARE @RunScript bit;
SET @RunScript = 0;
IF @RunScript != 1
BEGIN
RAISERROR ('Raise Error does not stop processing, so we will call GOTO to skip over the script', 1, 1);
GOTO Skipper -- This will skip over the script and go to Skipper
END
PRINT 'This is where your working script can go';
PRINT 'This is where your working script can go';
PRINT 'This is where your working script can go';
PRINT 'This is where your working script can go';
Skipper: -- Don't do nuttin!
Warning! The above sample was derived from an example I got from Merrill Aldrich. Before you implement the GOTO
statement blindly, I recommend you read his tutorial on Flow control in T-SQL Scripts.
The 'export' keyword is the way to separate out template implementation from template declaration. This was introduced in C++ standard without an existing implementation. In due course only a couple of compilers actually implemented it. Read in depth information at Inform IT article on export
Use this construction, to keep all input params but page
{!! $myItems->appends(Request::capture()->except('page'))->render() !!}
Why?
1) you strip down everything that added to request like that
$request->request->add(['variable' => 123]);
2) you don't need $request as input parameter for the function
3) you are excluding "page"
PS) and it works for Laravel 5.1
What if javascript is Turned Off on clients machine? Use following solution for all scenarios. You dont even need javascript/jQuery. :
HTML
<label for="fileInput"><img src="File_upload_Img"><label>
<input type="file" id="fileInput"></label>
CSS
#fileInput{opacity:0}
body{
background:cadetblue;
}
Explanation : for="Your input Id"
. Triggers click event by default by HTML. So it by default triggers click event, no need of jQuery/javascript. If its simply done by HTML why use jQuery/jScript? And you cant tell if client disabled JS. Your feature should work even though JS is turned off.
Working jsFiddle (You dont need JS , jquery)
You could also consider to maven-dependency-plugin to your pom:
<plugins>
...
<plugin>
<artifactId>maven-dependency-plugin</artifactId>
<executions>
<execution>
<phase>process-resources</phase>
<goals>
<goal>copy-dependencies</goal>
</goals>
<configuration>
<outputDirectory>${project.build.directory}/lib</outputDirectory>
</configuration>
</execution>
</executions>
</plugin>
...
</plugins>
Than you can run "mvn package" and maven will copy all needed dependencies to your_project_path/target/your_project_name/WEB-INF/lib/ directory. From there you can copy them to your project/lib dir and add as external jars (configuring your project settings buildpath)

The Unicode Standard 13.0 (update 2020) provides the Miscellaneous Technical glyphs in the HEX range 2300–23FF
Given the extensive Unicode 13.0 documentation, some of the glyphs we can associate to common Media control symbols would be as following:
Keyboard and UI symbols
23CF ⏏︎ Eject media
User interface symbols
23E9 ⏩︎ fast forward
23EA ⏪︎ rewind, fast backwards
23EB ⏫︎ fast increase
23EC ⏬︎ fast decrease
23ED ⏭︎ skip to end, next
23EE ⏮︎ skip to start, previous
23EF ⏯︎ play/pause toggle

23F3 ⏳︎ hourglass
23F4 ⏴︎ reverse, back
23F5 ⏵︎ forward, next, play
23F6 ⏶︎ increase
23F7 ⏷︎ decrease
23F8 ⏸︎ pause
23F9 ⏹︎ stop
23FA ⏺︎ recordPower symbols from ISO 7000:2012
23FB ?︎ standby/power

A file must be saved using UTF-8 encoding without BOM (which in most development environments is set by default) in order to instruct the parser how to transform the bytes into characters correctly. <meta charset="utf-8"/>
should be used immediately after <head>
in a HTML file, and make sure the correct HTTP headers Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8
are set.
Examples:
HTML⏩ Pictograph
⏩︎ Standardized Variant
CSS
.icon-ff:before { content: "\23E9" }
.icon-ff--standard:before { content: "\23E9\FE0E" }
JavaScript
EL_iconFF.textContent = "\u23E9";
EL_iconFF_standard.textContent = "\u23E9\uFE0E"
To prevent a glyph from being "color-emojified" ⏩︎ / ⏩ append the code U+FE0E Text Presentation Selector to request a Standardized variant: (example: ⏩︎
)
Characters in the Unicode range are susceptible to the font-family environment they are used, application, browser, OS, platform.
When unknown or missing - we might see symbols like or ▯ instead, or even inconsistent behavior due to differences in HTML parser implementations by different vendors.
For example, on Windows Chromium browsers the Standardized Variant suffix U+FE0E is buggy, and such symbols are still better accompanied by CSS i.e: font-family: "Segoe UI Symbol"
to force that specific Font over the Colored Emoji (usually recognized as "Segoe UI Emoji") - which defies the purpose of U+FE0E in the first place - time will tell…
To circumvent problems related to unsupported characters - a viable solution is to use scalable icon font-sets like i.e:

I recently discovered Schaun Wheeler's function for importing excel files into R after realising that the xlxs package hadn't been updated for R 3.1.0.
https://gist.github.com/schaunwheeler/5825002
The file name needs to have the ".xlsx" extension and the file can't be open when you run the function.
This function is really useful for accessing other peoples work. The main advantages over using the read.csv function are when
Using the read.csv function requires manual opening and saving of each Excel document which is time consuming and very boring. Using Schaun's function to automate the workflow is therefore a massive help.
Big props to Schaun for this solution.
I usually use like this:
var x = object.any ? object.any.a : 'def';
It depends on the configuration of the application as well as on IIS as this gentleman in the below link has rightfully explained. Please see his article below

If elem.find()
is not working for you, check that you are including JQuery script before angular script....
https://www.npmjs.com/package/babel-register
// This is to allow ES6 export syntax
// to be properly read and processed by node.js application
require('babel-register')({
presets: [
'env',
],
});
// After that, any line you add below that has typical ES6 export syntax
// will work just fine
const utils = require('../../utils.js');
const availableMixins = require('../../../src/lib/mixins/index.js');
export { default as FormValidationMixin } from './form-validation'; // eslint-disable-line import/prefer-default-export
That worked just fine inside my Node.js CLI application.

The antonym of Hard-Coding is Soft-Coding. For a better understanding of Hard Coding, I will introduce both terms.
Examples:
// firstName has a hard-coded value of "hello world"
string firstName = "hello world";
// firstName has a non-hard-coded provided as input
Console.WriteLine("first name :");
string firstName = Console.ReadLine();
A hard-coded constant[1]:
float areaOfCircle(int radius)
{
float area = 0;
area = 3.14*radius*radius; // 3.14 is a hard-coded value
return area;
}
Additionally, hard-coding and soft-coding could be considered to be anti-patterns[2]. Thus, one should strive for balance between hard and soft-coding.
- Hard Coding “Hard coding” is a well-known antipattern against which most web development books warns us right in the preface. Hard coding is the unfortunate practice in which we store configuration or input data, such as a file path or a remote host name, in the source code rather than obtaining it from a configuration file, a database, a user input, or another external source.
The main problem with hard code is that it only works properly in a certain environment, and at any time the conditions change, we need to modify the source code, usually in multiple separate places.- Soft Coding
If we try very hard to avoid the pitfall of hard coding, we can easily run into another antipattern called “soft coding”, which is its exact opposite.
In soft coding, we put things that should be in the source code into external sources, for example we store business logic in the database. The most common reason why we do so, is the fear that business rules will change in the future, therefore we will need to rewrite the code.
In extreme cases, a soft coded program can become so abstract and convoluted that it is almost impossible to comprehend it (especially for new team members), and extremely hard to maintain and debug.

It was working for me when I used padding like:

delete[] monsters;
Is incorrect because monsters
isn't a pointer to a dynamically allocated array, it is an array of pointers. As a class member it will be destroyed automatically when the class instance is destroyed.
Your other implementation is the correct one as the pointers in the array do point to dynamically allocated Monster
objects.
Note that with your current memory allocation strategy you probably want to declare your own copy constructor and copy-assignment operator so that unintentional copying doesn't cause double deletes. (If you you want to prevent copying you could declare them as private and not actually implement them.)
Upon investigation, it's also worth noting that when you want to start using docker in a new terminal window, the correct command is:
$(boot2docker shellinit)
I had tested these commands:
>> docker info
Get http:///var/run/docker.sock/v1.15/info: dial unix /var/run/docker.sock: no such file or directory
>> boot2docker shellinit
Writing /Users/ddavison/.boot2docker/certs/boot2docker-vm/ca.pem

export DOCKER_TLS_VERIFY=1
>> docker info

I solved the problem by cat'ing all the pems together:
cat cert.pem chain.pem fullchain.pem >all.pem
openssl pkcs12 -export -in all.pem -inkey privkey.pem -out cert_and_key.p12 -name tomcat -CAfile chain.pem -caname root -password MYPASSWORD
keytool -importkeystore -deststorepass MYPASSWORD -destkeypass MYPASSWORD -destkeystore MyDSKeyStore.jks -srckeystore cert_and_key.p12 -srcstoretype PKCS12 -srcstorepass MYPASSWORD -alias tomcat
keytool -import -trustcacerts -alias root -file chain.pem -keystore MyDSKeyStore.jks -storepass MYPASSWORD
(keytool didn't know what to do with a PKCS7 formatted key)
I got all the pems from letsencrypt
JavaScript can only close a window that was opened using JavaScript. Example below:
<script>
function myFunction() {
var str = "Sample";
var result = str.link("https://sample.com");
document.getElementById("demo").innerHTML = result;
}
</script>
I couldn't get the 'require' error to go away by using any of the tricks above.
But I found out that the issue was that my TypeScript tools for Visual Studio where an old version (1.8.6.0) and the latest version as of today is (2.0.6.0).
You can download the latest version of the tools from:
I know this is old, but most of these answers require a ton of extra code.
If you have a light colored background, you can simply use this:

# Let's add key:value to a dictionary, the functional way
# Create your dictionary class
class my_dictionary(dict):
# __init__ function
def __init__(self):
self = dict()
# Function to add key:value
def add(self, key, value):
self[key] = value
# Main Function
dict_obj = my_dictionary()
limit = int(input("Enter the no of key value pair in a dictionary"))
c=0
while c < limit :
dict_obj.key = input("Enter the key: ")
dict_obj.value = input("Enter the value: ")
dict_obj.add(dict_obj.key, dict_obj.value)
c += 1
print(dict_obj)
The following will return true if the JTextField "name" does not contain text:

The Accept Ranges
header (the bit in writeHead()
) is required for the HTML5 video controls to work.
I think instead of just blindly send the full file, you should first check the Accept Ranges
header in the REQUEST, then read in and send just that bit. fs.createReadStream
support start
, and end
option for that.
So I tried an example and it works. The code is not pretty but it is easy to understand. First we process the range header to get the start/end position. Then we use fs.stat
to get the size of the file without reading the whole file into memory. Finally, use fs.createReadStream
to send the requested part to the client.
var fs = require("fs"),
http = require("http"),
url = require("url"),
path = require("path");
http.createServer(function (req, res) {
if (req.url != "/movie.mp4") {
res.writeHead(200, { "Content-Type": "text/html" });
res.end('<video src="http://localhost:8888/movie.mp4" controls></video>');
} else {
var file = path.resolve(__dirname,"movie.mp4");
fs.stat(file, function(err, stats) {
if (err) {
if (err.code === 'ENOENT') {
// 404 Error if file not found
return res.sendStatus(404);
}
res.end(err);
}
var range = req.headers.range;
if (!range) {
// 416 Wrong range
return res.sendStatus(416);
}
var positions = range.replace(/bytes=/, "").split("-");
var start = parseInt(positions[0], 10);
var total = stats.size;
var end = positions[1] ? parseInt(positions[1], 10) : total - 1;
var chunksize = (end - start) + 1;
res.writeHead(206, {
"Content-Range": "bytes " + start + "-" + end + "/" + total,
"Accept-Ranges": "bytes",
"Content-Length": chunksize,
"Content-Type": "video/mp4"
});
var stream = fs.createReadStream(file, { start: start, end: end })
.on("open", function() {
stream.pipe(res);
}).on("error", function(err) {
res.end(err);
});
});
}
}).listen(8888);
I also had the same problem, and I saw a good solution in quora, using
sudo kill -9 PID.

Change your And
s to AndAlso
s
A standard And
will test both expressions. If comp.Container
is Nothing
, then the second expression will raise a NullReferenceException
because you're accessing a property on a null object.
AndAlso
will short-circuit the logical evaluation. If comp.Container
is Nothing
, then the 2nd expression will not be evaluated.
If you just want to make sure a certain file exists (f.ex. because it shoud be created in a different way than via ansible) and fail if it doesn't, then you can do this:
- name: sanity check that /some/path/file exists
command: stat /some/path/file
check_mode: no # always run
changed_when: false # doesn't change anything
Yet another alternative might be the various non-file-based logging handlers in the logging
package:
SocketHandler
DatagramHandler
SyslogHandler
(and others)
This way, you could easily have a logging daemon somewhere that you could write to safely and would handle the results correctly. (E.g., a simple socket server that just unpickles the message and emits it to its own rotating file handler.)
The SyslogHandler
would take care of this for you, too. Of course, you could use your own instance of syslog
, not the system one.
It is sometimes useful to not use quotes... because this can highlight issues in the code generating the query... For example:
Where x and y are should always be integers...
SELECT * FROM table
WHERE x= AND y=0
Is a SQL syntax error... a little lazy but can be useful...
function getExample() {
var retA, retB;
return promiseA(…).then(function(resultA) {
retA = resultA;
// Some processing
return promiseB(…);
}).then(function(resultB) {
// More processing
//retA is value of promiseA
return // How do I gain access to resultA here?
});
}

src="/clock.js"
be careful it's root of the domain.
P.S. and please use lowercase for attribute names.
public void EndTask(string taskname)
{
string processName = taskname.Replace(".exe", "");
foreach (Process process in Process.GetProcessesByName(processName))
{
process.Kill();
}
}
//EndTask("notepad");
Summary: no matter if the name contains .exe, the process will end. You don't need to "leave off .exe from process name", It works 100%.
The easiest is:
int label = 0;
loop:while(true) {
switch(state) {
case 0:
// Some code
state = 5;
break;
case 2:
// Some code
state = 4;
break;
...
default:
break loop;
}
}
Without looking at it, set it to not itself. I don't know how to code it in Java, but in Objective-C I would say
booleanVariable = !booleanVariable;
This flips the variable.
Found an XML transform stylesheet here (wayback machine link, site itself is in german)
The stylesheet added here could be helpful:
<xsl:stylesheet version="1.0"
xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform">
<xsl:output method="text" encoding="iso-8859-1"/>
<xsl:strip-space elements="*" />
<xsl:template match="/*/child::*">
<xsl:for-each select="child::*">
<xsl:if test="position() != last()">"<xsl:value-of select="normalize-space(.)"/>", </xsl:if>
<xsl:if test="position() = last()">"<xsl:value-of select="normalize-space(.)"/>"<xsl:text>
</xsl:text>
</xsl:if>
</xsl:for-each>
</xsl:template>
</xsl:stylesheet>
Perhaps you want to remove the quotes inside the xsl:if tags so it doesn't put your values into quotes, depending on where you want to use the CSV file.
Finding of week number for each date of a month (considering Monday as beginning of the week)
Keep the first date of month contant $B$13
=WEEKNUM(B18,2)-WEEKNUM($B$13,2)+1
WEEKNUM(B18,2)
- returns the week number of the date mentioned in cell B18
WEEKNUM($B$13,2)
- returns the week number of the 1st date of month in cell B13
Well, you're going to have to check for null somewhere. You could do something like this:
from item in db.vw_Dropship_OrderItems
where (listStatus == null || listStatus.Contains(item.StatusCode))
&& (listMerchants == null || listMerchants.Contains(item.MerchantId))
select item;
There is nothing special about <input type="hidden">
:
$('input[type="hidden"]').val()
<selector xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" >
<item android:state_pressed="true" android:drawable="@drawable/YOUR DRAWABLE XML" />
<item android:drawable="@drawable/YOUR DRAWABLE XML" />
</selector>
Explanation:
This problem occurs because Chrome allows up to 6 open connections by default. So if you're streaming multiple media files simultaneously from 6 <video>
or <audio>
tags, the 7th connection (for example, an image) will just hang, until one of the sockets opens up. Usually, an open connection will close after 5 minutes of inactivity, and that's why you're seeing your .pngs finally loading at that point.
Solution 1:
You can avoid this by minimizing the number of media tags that keep an open connection. And if you need to have more than 6, make sure that you load them last, or that they don't have attributes like preload="auto"
.
Solution 2:
If you're trying to use multiple sound effects for a web game, you could use the Web Audio API. Or to simplify things, just use a library like SoundJS, which is a great tool for playing a large amount of sound effects / music tracks simultaneously.
Solution 3: Force-open Sockets (Not recommended)
If you must, you can force-open the sockets in your browser (In Chrome only):
chrome://net-internals
.Sockets
from the menu.Flush socket pools
button.This solution is not recommended because you shouldn't expect your visitors to follow these instructions to be able to view your site.
I'm sorry, bu it's not posible, unless you made a backup file earlier.
EDIT: Actually it is possible, but it gets very tricky and you shouldn't think about it if data wasn't really, really important. You see: when data get's deleted from a computer it still remains in the same place on the disk, only its sectors are marked as empty. So data remains intact, except if it gets overwritten by new data. There are several programs designed for this purpose and there are companies who specialize in data recovery, though they are rather expensive.
I'd like to add one thing to chazomaticus' excellent answer:
Don't forget the META tag either (like this, or the HTML4 or XHTML version of it):
<meta charset="utf-8">
That seems trivial, but IE7 has given me problems with that before.
I was doing everything right; the database, database connection and Content-Type HTTP header were all set to UTF-8, and it worked fine in all other browsers, but Internet Explorer still insisted on using the "Western European" encoding.
It turned out the page was missing the META tag. Adding that solved the problem.
Edit:
The W3C actually has a rather large section dedicated to I18N. They have a number of articles related to this issue – describing the HTTP, (X)HTML and CSS side of things:
They recommend using both the HTTP header and HTML meta tag (or XML declaration in case of XHTML served as XML).
Quick Fix: Just turn off your firewall
, it seems that android studio wants to download something and because our firewall prevents it from downloading the file that it wants it becomes stuck.
Note: Turning your firewall off can lower your security
, if you have time you can just allow android studio in your firewall. By doing this you can turn on your firewall while allowing android studio to download anything that it wants.
Your interior <div>
elements should likely both be float:left
. Divs size to 100% the size of their container width automatically. Try using display:inline-block
instead of width:auto
on the container div. Or possibly float:left
the container and also apply overflow:auto
. Depends on what you're after exactly.
In templates, you can separate filter arguments by colons.
{{ yourExpression | yourFilter: arg1:arg2:... }}
From Javascript, you call it as
$filter('yourFilter')(yourExpression, arg1, arg2, ...)
There is actually an example hidden in the orderBy filter docs.
Example:
Let's say you make a filter that can replace things with regular expressions:
myApp.filter("regexReplace", function() { // register new filter
return function(input, searchRegex, replaceRegex) { // filter arguments
return input.replace(RegExp(searchRegex), replaceRegex); // implementation
};
});
Invocation in a template to censor out all digits:
<p>{{ myText | regexReplace: '[0-9]':'X' }}</p>
SELECT * FROM Table_Name LIMIT 5;

I found the below TSQL a fairly elegant solution (I don't have permissions to run functions). I found the DATEDIFF
ignores DATEFIRST
and I wanted my first day of the week to be a Monday. I also wanted the first working day to be set a zero and if it falls on a weekend Monday will be a zero. This may help someone who has a slightly different requirement :)
It does not handle bank holidays
SET DATEFIRST 1
SELECT
,(DATEDIFF(DD, [StartDate], [EndDate]))
-(DATEDIFF(wk, [StartDate], [EndDate]))
-(DATEDIFF(wk, DATEADD(dd,-@@DATEFIRST,[StartDate]), DATEADD(dd,-@@DATEFIRST,[EndDate]))) AS [WorkingDays]

You can use the function RESHAPE:
B = reshape(A.',1,[]);
Don't forget, for strings, you can always use:
String.IsNullOrEmpty(str)
Instead of:
str==null || str==""
This works too.
const $el = $(".myclass");
const className = $el[0].className;
\n is the line break used by Unix(-like) systems, \r\n is used by windows. This has nothing to do with C#.

In my case, I had to create a new app, reinstall my node packages, and copy my src document over. That worked.
For user using PHP 5.6.x follow this link and install the x86 version.
In case if you are developing your own framework:
WHY is this happening?
If any of the public header files you have mentioned in your module.modulemap have import statements that are not mentioned in modulemap, this will give you the error. Since it tries to import some header that is not declared as modular (in module.modulemap), it breaks the modularity of the framework.
HOW can I fix it?
Just include the header that gave the error to your module.modulemap and build again!
WHY NOT just set allow non-modular to YES?
Because it's not really a solution here, with that you tell your project "this framework was supposed to be modular but it's not. Use it somehow, I don't care." This doesn't fix your library's modularity problem.
For more information check this archived blog post or refer to clang docs.

when your array is empty then you can send empty array just like
if(!empty($result))
{
echo json_encode($result);
}
else
{
echo json_encode(array('data'=>''));
}

I like @Omry Yadan's solution but I think it can be improved upon to use a loop in case you want to continue traversing up the directory tree until you find where wp-config.php
actually lives. Of course, if you don't find it and end up in the server's root then all is lost and we return a sane value (false
).
function wp_get_web_root() {
$base = dirname(__FILE__);
$path = false;
while(!$path && '/' != $base) {
if(@file_exists(dirname($base)).'/wp-config.php') {
$path = dirname($base);
} else {
$base = dirname($base);
}
}
return $path;
}
I found a duplicate over here: Convert json data to a html table
Well, there are many plugins exists, including commercial one (Make this as commercial project?! Kinda overdone... but you can checkout over here: https://github.com/alfajango/jquery-dynatable)
This one has more fork: https://github.com/afshinm/Json-to-HTML-Table
//Example data, Object
var objectArray = [{
"Total": "34",
"Version": "1.0.4",
"Office": "New York"
}, {
"Total": "67",
"Version": "1.1.0",
"Office": "Paris"
}];
//Example data, Array
var stringArray = ["New York", "Berlin", "Paris", "Marrakech", "Moscow"];
//Example data, nested Object. This data will create nested table also.
var nestedTable = [{
key1: "val1",
key2: "val2",
key3: {
tableId: "tblIdNested1",
tableClassName: "clsNested",
linkText: "Download",
data: [{
subkey1: "subval1",
subkey2: "subval2",
subkey3: "subval3"
}]
}
}];
Apply the code
//Only first parameter is required
var jsonHtmlTable = ConvertJsonToTable(objectArray, 'jsonTable', null, 'Download');
Or you might want to checkout this jQuery plugins as well: https://github.com/jongha/jquery-jsontotable
I think jongha's plugins is easier to use
<div id="jsontotable" class="jsontotable"></div>
var data = [[1, 2, 3], [1, 2, 3]];
$.jsontotable(data, { id: '#jsontotable', header: false });
When you use Vector *one
you are merely creating a pointer to the structure but there is no memory allocated to it.
Simply use one = (Vector *)malloc(sizeof(Vector));
to declare memory and instantiate it.
A new line is just whitespace to the browser and won't be treated any different to a normal space (" "). To get a new line, you must insert <BR />
elements.
Another attempt to solve the problem: Type the text into the textarea and then add some JavaScript behind a button to convert the invisible characters to something readable and dump the result to a DIV
. That will tell you what your browser wants.
