Check "PASSWORD_LIFE_TIME" by
Sql > select * from dba_profiles;
Set to Never expire
Sql> ALTER PROFILE DEFAULT LIMIT PASSWORD_LIFE_TIME UNLIMITED;
Then reset the password of locked user.
Neither databases, nor tablespaces nor data files belong to any user. Are you coming to this from an MS SQL background?
select tablespace_name,
file_name
from dba_tablespaces
order by tablespace_name,
file_name;
Go to SQL command line:- type:
sql>connect / as sysdba;
then type:
sql>desc dba_users;
then type:
sql>select username,password from dba_users;
If sysdba
doesn't work then try connecting with username:scott and password: Tiger
You will be able to see all users with passwords. Probably you might find your's. Hope this helps
I got a same problem. Below is how I solved the problem. I am working on an oracle database 12c pluggable database(pdb) on a windows 10.
-- using sqlplus to login as sysdba from a terminal; Below is an example:
sqlplus sys/@orclpdb as sysdba
-- First check your database status;
SQL> select name, open_mode from v$pdbs;
-- It shows the database is mounted in my case. If yours is not mounted, you should mount the database first.
-- Next open the database for read/write
SQL> ALTER PLUGGABLE DATABASE OPEN; (or ALTER PLUGGABLE DATABASE YOURDATABASENAME OPEN;)
-- Check the status again.
SQL> select name, open_mode from v$pdbs;
-- Now your dababase should be open for read/write and you should be able to create schemas, etc.
Check local_listener definition in your spfile or pfile. In my case, the problem was with pfile, I had moved the pfile from a similar environment and it had LISTENER_sid as LISTENER and not just LISTENER.
select *
from ROLE_TAB_PRIVS
where role in (
select granted_role
from dba_role_privs
where granted_role in ('ROLE1','ROLE2')
)
Correct your Code like this:
try
{ //method try starts
String sql = "INSERT into TblName (col1, col2) VALUES(?, ?)";
pStmt = obj.getConnection().prepareStatement(sql);
pStmt.setLong(1, subscriberID);
for (String language : additionalLangs) {
pStmt.setInt(2, Integer.parseInt(language));
pStmt.execute();
}
} //method/try ends
finally
{ //finally starts
pStmt.close()
}
Are you sure, that you're really closing your pStatements, connections and results?
To analyze open objects you can implment a delegator pattern, which wraps code around your statemant, connection and result objects. So you'll see, if an object will successfully closed.
An Example for: pStmt = obj.getConnection().prepareStatement(sql);
class obj{
public Connection getConnection(){
return new ConnectionDelegator(...here create your connection object and put it into ...);
}
}
class ConnectionDelegator implements Connection{
Connection delegates;
public ConnectionDelegator(Connection con){
this.delegates = con;
}
public Statement prepareStatement(String sql){
return delegates.prepareStatement(sql);
}
public void close(){
try{
delegates.close();
}finally{
log.debug(delegates.toString() + " was closed");
}
}
}
You might have set oracle not to start automatically. Goto Start and search for Services. Scroll down and look for OracleServiceORCL (or OracleServiceSID). Double click and change startup type to automatic if it is set as manual.
After installing weblogic and forms server on a Linux machine we met some problems initializing sqlplus

in a way that the forms_home acts as the oracle home. It works fine, both commands
(sqlplus and tnsping) are executable for user oracle

filter from an array of the JSON objects:**
Starting in version 0.7.9 you can use the filter operator .isnot
instead of comparing constraints, like this:
query.filter(User.name.isnot(None))
This method is only necessary if pep8 is a concern.

I believe TLSV1_ALERT_PROTOCOL_VERSION
is alerting you that the server doesn't want to talk TLS v1.0 to you. Try to specify TLS v1.2 only by sticking in these lines:
import ssl
context = ssl.SSLContext(ssl.PROTOCOL_TLSv1_2)
# Create HTTPS connection
c = HTTPSConnection("0.0.0.0", context=context)
Note, you may need sufficiently new versions of Python (2.7.9+ perhaps?) and possibly OpenSSL (I have "OpenSSL 1.0.2k 26 Jan 2017" and the above seems to work, YMMV)
You can use git cherry-pick
to just pick the commit that you want to copy over.
Probably the best way is to create the branch out of master, then in that branch use git cherry-pick
on the 2 commits from quickfix2 that you want.
While the accepted answer will work most of the times, I have encountered (still do not know why) some cases that is does not. A slight modification of the query by using the WITH OVERRIDE
in RECONFIGURE
gives the solution
Use Master
GO
EXEC master.dbo.sp_configure 'show advanced options', 1
RECONFIGURE WITH OVERRIDE
GO
EXEC master.dbo.sp_configure 'xp_cmdshell', 1
RECONFIGURE WITH OVERRIDE
GO
The expected output is
Configuration option 'show advanced options' changed from 0 to 1. Run the RECONFIGURE statement to install.
Configuration option 'xp_cmdshell' changed from 0 to 1. Run the RECONFIGURE statement to install.
That is the version number of the Ionic CLI, which is different from the version number of Ionic's library. Here are a couple easy ways to check the version.
In the browser console, you can run ionic.version
and it will print to the console what version it is.
You can also look at the bower.json
file in your app, and it will show the version number like you see here. https://github.com/ionic-in-action/chapter5/blob/master/bower.json#L5
The answer to this is yes - in HTML 5 you can resize images client-side using the canvas element. You can also take the new data and send it to a server. See this tutorial:

dbo is the default schema in SQL Server. You can create your own schemas to allow you to better manage your object namespace.
Swift 4+:
textField.clearButtonMode = UITextField.ViewMode.whileEditing
or even shorter:
textField.clearButtonMode = .whileEditing
So, if you have a statement something like the following, you're saying that you get no 'print' result?
select * from sysobjects PRINT 'Just selected * from sysobjects'
If you're using SQL Query Analyzer, you'll see that there are two tabs down at the bottom, one of which is "Messages" and that's where the 'print' statements will show up.
If you're concerned about the timing of seeing the print statements, you may want to try using something like
raiserror ('My Print Statement', 10,1) with nowait
This will give you the message immediately as the statement is reached, rather than buffering the output, as the Query Analyzer will do under most conditions.
Hi the problem is in FileDownloader class
urlConnection.setRequestMethod("GET");
urlConnection.setDoOutput(true);
You need to remove the above two lines and everything will work fine. Please mark the question as answered if it is working as expected.

I tore my hair out over this one too. Your code only works if the user has granted an extended permission for that which is not ideal.
In a nutshell, if you turn on the OAuth 2.0

REST is stateless and doesn’t maintain any states between the requests. Client cookies / headers are set to maintain the user state like authentication. Say Client username/password are validated by third part authentication mechanism – 2nd level OTP gerneation etc. Once user get authenticated – headers /cookies comes to rest service end point exposed and we can assume user as auth since user is coming with valid headers/cookies. Now certain info of user like IP is either maintained in the cache and after that if request is coming from same Ip (mac address) for listed resources User is allowed. And cache is maintained for some particular time which get invalidated once time lapses. So either cache can be used or DB entries can be used to persist info b/w the requests.
check /Library/PostgreSQL/9.3/bin and you should find pg_config
I.E. /Library/PostgreSQL/<version_num>/
ps: you can do the following if you deem it necessary for your pg needs -
create a .profile in your ~ directory
export PG_HOME=/Library/PostgreSQL/9.3
export PATH=$PATH:$PG_HOME/bin
You can now use psql
or postgres
commands from the terminal, and install psycopg2 or any other dependency without issues, plus you can always just ls $PG_HOME/bin
when you feel like peeking at your pg_dir.
If you want to find directories, including those that are marked "hidden" and "system", try this (requires .NET V4):
FileAttributes fa = File.GetAttributes(path);
if(fa.HasFlag(FileAttributes.Directory))

I wrote a little bash onliner that you can write to a script to get a friendly output:
mysql_references_to:
mysql -uUSER -pPASS -A DB_NAME -se "USE information_schema; SELECT * FROM KEY_COLUMN_USAGE WHERE REFERENCED_TABLE_NAME = '$1' AND REFERENCED_COLUMN_NAME = 'id'\G" | sed 's/^[ \t]*//;s/[ \t]*$//' |egrep "\<TABLE_NAME|\<COLUMN_NAME" |sed 's/TABLE_NAME: /./g' |sed 's/COLUMN_NAME: //g' | paste -sd "," -| tr '.' '\n' |sed 's/,$//' |sed 's/,/./'
So the execution: mysql_references_to transaccion
(where transaccion is a random table name) gives an output like this:
carrito_transaccion.transaccion_id
comanda_detalle.transaccion_id
comanda_detalle_devolucion.transaccion_positiva_id
comanda_detalle_devolucion.transaccion_negativa_id
comanda_transaccion.transaccion_id
cuenta_operacion.transaccion_id
...
Note that you can also hit this error if you accidentally type:
#define <stdio.h>
...instead of...
#include <stdio.>
Tieme put a lot of effort into his excellent answer, but I think the core of the OP's question is how these technologies relate to PHP rather than how each technology works.
PHP is the most used language in web development besides the obvious client side HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Yet PHP has 2 major issues when it comes to real-time applications:
libphp5.so
on Linux, php5ts.dll
on Windows, etc) as if it still a CGI processing a GET/POST request. It still executes code as if it just has to build a "page" and then end its life cycle. As a result, it has very little support for multi-thread or event-driven programming (within PHP userspace), making it currently unpractical for real-time, multi-user applications.Note that PHP does have extensions to provide event loops (such as libevent
) and threads (such as pthreads
) in PHP userspace, but very, very, few of the applications use these.
PHP 7 will be a great step to fix these issues as well, and seems very promising as a platform for real-time applications.
To my knowledge, no.
Circumstantial indications from $LC_CTYPE
, locale
and such might seem alluring, but these are completely separated from the encoding the terminal application (actually an emulator) happens to be using when displaying characters on the screen.
They only way to detect encoding for sure is to output something only present in the encoding, e.g. ä
, take a screenshot, analyze that image and check if the output character is correct.
So no, it's not possible, sadly.
Old question, new answer (C#).
Another use of underscores for C# is with ASP NET Core's DI (dependency injection). Private readonly
variables of a class which got assigned to the injected interface during construction should start with an underscore. I guess it's a debate whether to use underscore for every private member of a class (although Microsoft itself follows it) but this one is certain.
private readonly ILogger<MyDependency> _logger;
public MyDependency(ILogger<MyDependency> logger)
{
_logger = logger;

Open the file in Vim and try
:set fileformat=unix
Convert eh line endings to unix endings and see if that solves the issue. If editing in Vim, enter the command :set fileformat=unix and save the file. Several other editors have the ability to convert line endings, such as Notepad++ or Atom

pip <command> --user
changes the scope of the current pip command to work on the current user account's local python package install location, rather than the system-wide package install location, which is the default.
This only really matters on a multi-user machine. Anything installed to the system location will be visible to all users, so installing to the user location will keep that package installation separate from other users (they will not see it, and would have to install it themselves separately to use it). Because there can be version conflicts, installing a package with dependencies needed by other packages can cause problems, so it's best not to push all packages a given user uses to the system install location.
--user
location. It will be installed to a different folder, that may or may not need to be added to the path, depending on the package and how it's used (many packages install command-line tools that must be on the path to run from a shell).--user
is preferred to using root/sudo or requiring administrator installation and affecting the Python environment of every user, except in cases of general packages that the administrator wants to make available to all users by default.
apt
, rather than pip
.venv
command in the Python VENV docs.The --user
option in an active venv/virtualenv environment will install to the local user python location (same as without a virtual environment).
Packages are installed to the virtual environment by default, but if you use --user
it will force it to install outside the virtual environments, in the users python script directory (in Windows, this currently is c:\users\<username>\appdata\roaming\python\python37\scripts
for me with Python 3.7).
However, you won't be able to access a system or user install from within virtual environment (even if you used --user
while in a virtual environment).
If you install a virtual environment with the --system-site-packages
argument, you will have access to the system script folder for python. I believe this included the user python script folder as well, but I'm unsure. However, there may be unintended consequences for this and it is not the intended way to use virtual environments.
You can find the location of the user install folder for python with python -m site --user-base
. I'm finding conflicting information in Q&A's, the documentation and actually using this command on my PC as to what the defaults are, but they are underneath the user home directory (~
shortcut in *nix, and c:\users\<username>
typically for Windows).
The --user
option is not a valid for every command. For example pip uninstall
will find and uninstall packages wherever they were installed (in the user folder, virtual environment folder, etc.) and the --user
option is not valid.
Things installed with pip install --user
will be installed in a local location that will only be seen by the current user account, and will not require root access (on *nix) or administrator access (on Windows).
The --user
option modifies all pip
commands that accept it to see/operate on the user install folder, so if you use pip list --user
it will only show you packages installed with pip install --user
.
If you are using linux, and the data file is from windows. It probably because the character ^M Find it and delete. done!

Treb, Matthieu's problem was caused by using Excel in a non-English language. In many language versions ";" is the correct separator. Even functions are translated (SUM can be SOMMA, SUMME or whatever depending on what language you work in). Excel will generally understand these differences and if a French-created workbook is opened by a Brazilian they will normally not have any problem. But VBA speaks only US English so for those of us working in one (or more) foreign langauges, this can be a headache. You and CharlesB both gave answers that would have been OK for a US user but Mikko understod the REAL problem and gave the correct answer (which was also the correct one for me too - I'm a Brit working in Italy for a German-speaking company).

Firstly, write an unzip utility using vbscript to trigger the native unzip functionality in Windows. Then pipe out the script from within your batch file and then call it. Then it's as good as stand alone. I've done it in the past for numerous tasks. This way it does not require need of third party applications, just the one batch file that does everything.
I put an example on my blog on how to unzip a file using a batch file:

the pervasive, implicit localization in Java is its single largest design flaw. It may be intended for user interfaces, but frankly, who really uses Java for user interfaces today except for some IDEs where you can basically ignore localization because programmers aren't exactly the target audience for it. You can fix it (especially on Linux servers) by:
LC_ALL=C TZ=UTC
To the Java Community Process members I recommend:
UTF-8/UTC
as the FIXED default instead because that's simply the default today. There is no reason to do something else, except if you want to produce threads like this.I mean, come on, aren't global static variables an anti-OO pattern? Nothing else is those pervasive defaults given by some rudimentary environment variables.......
Try this:
//using System.Security.Cryptography.X509Certificates;
public static X509Certificate2 selectCert(StoreName store, StoreLocation location, string windowTitle, string windowMsg)
{
X509Certificate2 certSelected = null;
X509Store x509Store = new X509Store(store, location);
x509Store.Open(OpenFlags.ReadOnly);
X509Certificate2Collection col = x509Store.Certificates;
X509Certificate2Collection sel = X509Certificate2UI.SelectFromCollection(col, windowTitle, windowMsg, X509SelectionFlag.SingleSelection);
if (sel.Count > 0)
{
X509Certificate2Enumerator en = sel.GetEnumerator();
en.MoveNext();
certSelected = en.Current;
}
x509Store.Close();
return certSelected;
}
This should work for you

I messed with my css for hours, changing the positioning and z-index of just about every element on the page. I deleted every other element from the DOM except for the one with the cursor: pointer on hover, and it STILL didn't work.
For me, on Mac OSX El Captain V 10.11, the issue had to do with some sort of interference with Photoshop CC. Once I closed photoshop, the cursor started working again.
Solution for me: Close and reopen photoshop
You can use just:
"{0:b}".format(n)
In my opinion this is the easiest way!
Well.. I'm not sure how portable os.chdir('..') would actually be. Under Unix those are real filenames. I would prefer the following:
import os
os.chdir(os.path.dirname(os.getcwd()))
That gets the current working directory, steps up one directory, and then changes to that directory.
You can try changing it to this:
If myTableData.Rows.Count > 0 Then
For i As Integer = 0 To myTableData.Rows.Count - 1
''Dim DataType() As String = myTableData.Rows(i).Item(1)
ListBox2.Items.Add(myTableData.Rows(i)(1))
Next
End If
Note: Your loop needs to be one less than the row count since it's a zero-based index.
I've used WingIDE and have been very happy. Intellisense is pretty good, some other things are a bit wacky but overall it's a very productive tool
The best way to center content in a table (for example <video>
or <img>
) is to do the following:
<table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="100%">
<tr>
<td>Video Tag 1 Here</td>
<td>Video Tag 2 Here</td>
</tr>
</table>

I had same issue before, here is my class which solved color conversions Use it and enjoy :
Here U go, Use my Class to Multi Color Conversion
using System;
using System.Windows.Media;
using SDColor = System.Drawing.Color;
using SWMColor = System.Windows.Media.Color;
using SWMBrush = System.Windows.Media.Brush;
//Developed by ???? ????? ?????
namespace APREndUser.CodeAssist
{
public static class ColorHelper
{
public static SWMColor ToSWMColor(SDColor color) => SWMColor.FromArgb(color.A, color.R, color.G, color.B);
public static SDColor ToSDColor(SWMColor color) => SDColor.FromArgb(color.A, color.R, color.G, color.B);
public static SWMBrush ToSWMBrush(SDColor color) => (SolidColorBrush)(new BrushConverter().ConvertFrom(ToHexColor(color)));
public static string ToHexColor(SDColor c) => "#" + c.R.ToString("X2") + c.G.ToString("X2") + c.B.ToString("X2");
public static string ToRGBColor(SDColor c) => "RGB(" + c.R.ToString() + "," + c.G.ToString() + "," + c.B.ToString() + ")";
public static Tuple<SDColor, SDColor> GetColorFromRYGGradient(double percentage)
{
var red = (percentage > 50 ? 1 - 2 * (percentage - 50) / 100.0 : 1.0) * 255;
var green = (percentage > 50 ? 1.0 : 2 * percentage / 100.0) * 255;
var blue = 0.0;
SDColor result1 = SDColor.FromArgb((int)red, (int)green, (int)blue);
SDColor result2 = SDColor.FromArgb((int)green, (int)red, (int)blue);
return new Tuple<SDColor, SDColor>(result1, result2);
}
}
}
Updated with the theme()
function, ggsave()
and the code for the legend background:
df <- data.frame(y = d, x = 1, group = rep(c("gr1", "gr2"), 50))
p <- ggplot(df) +
stat_boxplot(aes(x = x, y = y, color = group),
fill = "transparent" # for the inside of the boxplot
)
Fastest way is using using rect
, as all the rectangle elements inherit from rect:
p <- p +
theme(
rect = element_rect(fill = "transparent") # all rectangles
)
p
More controlled way is to use options of theme
:
p <- p +
theme(
panel.background = element_rect(fill = "transparent"), # bg of the panel
plot.background = element_rect(fill = "transparent", color = NA), # bg of the plot
panel.grid.major = element_blank(), # get rid of major grid
panel.grid.minor = element_blank(), # get rid of minor grid
legend.background = element_rect(fill = "transparent"), # get rid of legend bg
legend.box.background = element_rect(fill = "transparent") # get rid of legend panel bg
)
p
To save (this last step is important):
ggsave(p, filename = "tr_tst2.png", bg = "transparent")
Possible redundant answer but since I found it useful, here it is:
While a FreeBSD root (i.e. using csh) I wanted to copy my whole root filesystem to /mnt but without /usr and (obviously) /mnt. This is what worked (I am at /):
tar --exclude ./usr --exclude ./mnt --create --file - . (cd /mnt && tar xvd -)
My whole point is that it was necessary (by putting the ./) to specify to tar that the excluded directories where part of the greater directory being copied.
My €0.02
following code is the accepted answer, with a few more lines for new folks (me), eg. shows how to convert the set type object back to arrayList, and additional guidance on what goes before '.putStringSet' and '.getStringSet'. (thank you evilone)
// shared preferences
private SharedPreferences preferences;
private SharedPreferences.Editor nsuserdefaults;
// setup persistent data
preferences = this.getSharedPreferences("MyPreferences", MainActivity.MODE_PRIVATE);
nsuserdefaults = preferences.edit();
arrayOfMemberUrlsUserIsFollowing = new ArrayList<String>();
//Retrieve followers from sharedPreferences
Set<String> set = preferences.getStringSet("following", null);
if (set == null) {
// lazy instantiate array
arrayOfMemberUrlsUserIsFollowing = new ArrayList<String>();
} else {
// there is data from previous run
arrayOfMemberUrlsUserIsFollowing = new ArrayList<>(set);
}
// convert arraylist to set, and save arrayOfMemberUrlsUserIsFollowing to nsuserdefaults
Set<String> set = new HashSet<String>();
set.addAll(arrayOfMemberUrlsUserIsFollowing);
nsuserdefaults.putStringSet("following", set);
nsuserdefaults.commit();
Just add these code block on status return, and start passing a query string object {}. For JavaScript devs
After initializing your sdk.
step 1: // get login status
$(document).ready(function($) {
FB.getLoginStatus(function(response) {
statusChangeCallback(response);
console.log(response);
});
});
This will check on document load and get your login status check if users has been logged in.
Then the function checkLoginState is called, and response is pass to statusChangeCallback
function checkLoginState() {
FB.getLoginStatus(function(response) {
statusChangeCallback(response);
});
}
Step 2: Let you get the response data from the status
function statusChangeCallback(response) {
// body...
if(response.status === 'connected'){
// setElements(true);
let userId = response.authResponse.userID;
// console.log(userId);
console.log('login');
getUserInfo(userId);
}else{
// setElements(false);
console.log('not logged in !');
}
}
This also has the userid which is being set to variable, then a getUserInfo func is called to fetch user information using the Graph-api.
function getUserInfo(userId) {
// body...
FB.api(
'/'+userId+'/?fields=id,name,email',
'GET',
{},
function(response) {
// Insert your code here
// console.log(response);
let email = response.email;
loginViaEmail(email);
}
);
}
After passing the userid as an argument, the function then fetch all information relating to that userid. Note: in my case i was looking for the email, as to allowed me run a function that can logged user via email only.
// login via email
function loginViaEmail(email) {
// body...
let token = '{{ csrf_token() }}';
let data = {
_token:token,
email:email
}
$.ajax({
url: '/login/via/email',
type: 'POST',
dataType: 'json',
data: data,
success: function(data){
console.log(data);
if(data.status == 'success'){
window.location.href = '/dashboard';
}
if(data.status == 'info'){
window.location.href = '/create-account';
}
},
error: function(data){
console.log('Error logging in via email !');
// alert('Fail to send login request !');
}
});
}
And I just found out that on vista 'localhost.' will not work. In this case use '127.0.0.1.' (loopback address with a dot appended to it).
If you're getting a similar error:
psql: could not connect to server: No such file or directory
Is the server running locally and accepting
connections on Unix domain socket "/tmp/.s.PGSQL.5432"?
This might do the trick (it did for me):
initdb /usr/local/var/postgres -E utf8
The directory specified should be different if you're not using OSX/Brew.
Note: This is not the exact error message seen above, but this thread is the first result for that error message.
Use forward declaration when possible.
Suppose you want to define a new class B
that uses objects of class A
.
B
only uses references or pointers to A
. Use forward declaration then you don't need to include <A.h>
. This will in turn speed a little bit the compilation.
class A ;
class B
{
private:
A* fPtrA ;
public:
void mymethod(const& A) const ;
} ;
B
derives from A
or B
explicitely (or implicitely) uses objects of class A
. You then need to include <A.h>
#include <A.h>
class B : public A
{
};
class C
{
private:
A fA ;
public:
void mymethod(A par) ;
}
Calling the isHTML()
method after the instance Body
property (I mean $mail->Body
) has been set solved the problem for me:
$mail->Subject = $Subject;
$mail->Body = $Body;
$mail->IsHTML(true); // <=== call IsHTML() after $mail->Body has been set.
If you've enabled two factor authentication, then you'll need to generate a personal access token and use that instead of your regular password. More info here: https://help.github.com/articles/creating-an-access-token-for-command-line-use/
If you store stylesheets/images in a folder so that multiple websites can use them, or you want to re-use the same files on another site on the same server, I have found that my browser/Apache does not allow me to go to any parent folder above the website root URL. This seems obvious for security reasons - one should not be able to browse around on the server any place other than the specified web folders.
Eg. does not work: www.mywebsite.com/../images
As a workaround, I use Symlinks:
Go to the directory of www.mywebsite.com Run the command ln -s ../images images
Now www.mywebsite.com/images will point to www.mywebsite.com/../images
You can scale the image with pygame.transform.scale
:
import pygame
picture = pygame.image.load(filename)
picture = pygame.transform.scale(picture, (1280, 720))
You can then get the bounding rectangle of picture
with
rect = picture.get_rect()
and move the picture with
rect = rect.move((x, y))
screen.blit(picture, rect)
where screen
was set with something like
screen = pygame.display.set_mode((1600, 900))
To allow your widgets to adjust to various screen sizes, you could make the display resizable:
import os
import pygame
from pygame.locals import *
pygame.init()
screen = pygame.display.set_mode((500, 500), HWSURFACE | DOUBLEBUF | RESIZABLE)
pic = pygame.image.load("image.png")
screen.blit(pygame.transform.scale(pic, (500, 500)), (0, 0))
pygame.display.flip()
while True:
pygame.event.pump()
event = pygame.event.wait()
if event.type == QUIT:
pygame.display.quit()
elif event.type == VIDEORESIZE:
screen = pygame.display.set_mode(
event.dict['size'], HWSURFACE | DOUBLEBUF | RESIZABLE)
screen.blit(pygame.transform.scale(pic, event.dict['size']), (0, 0))
pygame.display.flip()
Other answers are correct, but in my case I need to handle other properties also (alpha
, animate
, completion
). Because of this, I modified a bit to expose these parameters as below:
extension UIView {
/// Helper function to update view's alpha with animation
/// - Parameter alpha: View's alpha
/// - Parameter animate: Indicate alpha changing with animation or not
/// - Parameter duration: Indicate time for animation
/// - Parameter completion: Completion block after alpha changing is finished
func set(alpha: CGFloat, animate: Bool, duration: TimeInterval = 0.3, completion: ((Bool) -> Void)? = nil) {
let animation = { (view: UIView) in
view.alpha = alpha
}
if animate {
UIView.animate(withDuration: duration, animations: {
animation(self)
}, completion: { finished in
completion?(finished)
})
} else {
layer.removeAllAnimations()
animation(self)
completion?(true)
}
}
}
I am abit late to the party.
No matter here's how i manage the constants file so that it makes more sense to developers while writing code in swift.
FOR URL:
//URLConstants.swift
struct APPURL {
private struct Domains {
static let Dev = "http://test-dev.cloudapp.net"
static let UAT = "http://test-UAT.com"
static let Local = "192.145.1.1"
static let QA = "testAddress.qa.com"
}
private struct Routes {
static let Api = "/api/mobile"
}
private static let Domain = Domains.Dev
private static let Route = Routes.Api
private static let BaseURL = Domain + Route
static var FacebookLogin: String {
return BaseURL + "/auth/facebook"
}
}
For CUSTOMFONTS:
//FontsConstants.swift
struct FontNames {
static let LatoName = "Lato"
struct Lato {
static let LatoBold = "Lato-Bold"
static let LatoMedium = "Lato-Medium"
static let LatoRegular = "Lato-Regular"
static let LatoExtraBold = "Lato-ExtraBold"
}
}
FOR ALL THE KEYS USED IN APP
//KeyConstants.swift
struct Key {
static let DeviceType = "iOS"
struct Beacon{
static let ONEXUUID = "xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx"
}
struct UserDefaults {
static let k_App_Running_FirstTime = "userRunningAppFirstTime"
}
struct Headers {
static let Authorization = "Authorization"
static let ContentType = "Content-Type"
}
struct Google{
static let placesKey = "some key here"//for photos
static let serverKey = "some key here"
}
struct ErrorMessage{
static let listNotFound = "ERROR_LIST_NOT_FOUND"
static let validationError = "ERROR_VALIDATION"
}
}
FOR COLOR CONSTANTS:
//ColorConstants.swift
struct AppColor {
private struct Alphas {
static let Opaque = CGFloat(1)
static let SemiOpaque = CGFloat(0.8)
static let SemiTransparent = CGFloat(0.5)
static let Transparent = CGFloat(0.3)
}
static let appPrimaryColor = UIColor.white.withAlphaComponent(Alphas.SemiOpaque)
static let appSecondaryColor = UIColor.blue.withAlphaComponent(Alphas.Opaque)
struct TextColors {
static let Error = AppColor.appSecondaryColor
static let Success = UIColor(red: 0.1303, green: 0.9915, blue: 0.0233, alpha: Alphas.Opaque)
}
struct TabBarColors{
static let Selected = UIColor.white
static let NotSelected = UIColor.black
}
struct OverlayColor {
static let SemiTransparentBlack = UIColor.black.withAlphaComponent(Alphas.Transparent)
static let SemiOpaque = UIColor.black.withAlphaComponent(Alphas.SemiOpaque)
static let demoOverlay = UIColor.black.withAlphaComponent(0.6)
}
}
You can wrap these all files in a common group named Constants in your Xcode Project.
And for more watch this video
So you would want the following:
int random;
int max;
int min;
...somewhere in your code put the method to get the min and max from the user when they click submit and then use them in the following line of code:
random = Random.nextInt(max-min+1)+min;
This will set random to a random number between the user selected min and max. Then you will do:
TextView.setText(random.toString());
From a comment:
I want to sort each set.
That's easy. For any set s
(or anything else iterable), sorted(s)
returns a list of the elements of s
in sorted order:
>>> s = set(['0.000000000', '0.009518000', '10.277200999', '0.030810999', '0.018384000', '4.918560000'])
>>> sorted(s)
['0.000000000', '0.009518000', '0.018384000', '0.030810999', '10.277200999', '4.918560000']
Note that sorted
is giving you a list
, not a set
. That's because the whole point of a set, both in mathematics and in almost every programming language,* is that it's not ordered: the sets {1, 2}
and {2, 1}
are the same set.
You probably don't really want to sort those elements as strings, but as numbers (so 4.918560000 will come before 10.277200999 rather than after).
The best solution is most likely to store the numbers as numbers rather than strings in the first place. But if not, you just need to use a key
function:
>>> sorted(s, key=float)
['0.000000000', '0.009518000', '0.018384000', '0.030810999', '4.918560000', '10.277200999']
For more information, see the Sorting HOWTO in the official docs.
* See the comments for exceptions.
This one drove me crazy... basically you need two things:
1) Make sure your DNS is setup to point to your subdomain. This means to make sure you have an A Record in the DNS for your subdomain and point to the same IP.
2) You must add an additional website in IIS 7 named subdomain.example.com
you can use && and write all conditions in to the same where clause, or you can .Where().Where().Where()... and so on.
1- All you have to do is set the selection style on the UITableViewCell
instance using either:
Objective-C:
cell.selectionStyle = UITableViewCellSelectionStyleNone;
or
[cell setSelectionStyle:UITableViewCellSelectionStyleNone];
Swift 2:
cell.selectionStyle = UITableViewCellSelectionStyle.None
Swift 3:
cell.selectionStyle = .none
2 - Don't implement -tableView:didSelectRowAtIndexPath:
in your table view delegate
or explicitly exclude the cells you want to have no action if you do implement it.
3 - Further,You can also do it from the storyboard. Click the table view cell and in the attributes inspector under Table View Cell, change the drop down next to Selection to None.
4 - You can disable table cell highlight using below code in (iOS) Xcode 9 , Swift 4.0
func tableView(_ tableView: UITableView, cellForRowAt indexPath: IndexPath) -> UITableViewCell {
let cell = tableView.dequeueReusableCell(withIdentifier: "OpenTbCell") as! OpenTbCell
cell.selectionStyle = .none
return cell
}
You can create a function to make this easy.
create function IFEMPTY(s text, defaultValue text)
returns text deterministic
return if(s is null or s = '', defaultValue, s);
Using:
SELECT IFEMPTY(field1, 'empty') as field1
from tablename
Make sure the user has a localhost entry in the users table. That was the problem I was having. EX:
CREATE USER 'username'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY 'password';
No curly braces required you can directly write
@if($user->status =='waiting')
<td><a href="#" class="viewPopLink btn btn-default1" role="button" data-id="{{ $user->travel_id }}" data-toggle="modal" data-target="#myModal">Approve/Reject<a></td>
@else
<td>{{ $user->status }}</td>
@endif
Default Colors:
android:textColorHint="@android:color/holo_blue_dark"
For Color code:
android:textColorHint="#33b5e5"
I'd recommend serialization,
public class Person
{
public string FirstName;
public string MI;
public string LastName;
}
static void Serialize()
{
clsPerson p = new Person();
p.FirstName = "Jeff";
p.MI = "A";
p.LastName = "Price";
System.Xml.Serialization.XmlSerializer x = new System.Xml.Serialization.XmlSerializer(p.GetType());
x.Serialize(System.Console.Out, p);
System.Console.WriteLine();
System.Console.WriteLine(" --- Press any key to continue --- ");
System.Console.ReadKey();
}
You can further control serialization with attributes.
But if it is simple, you could use XmlDocument:
using System;
using System.Xml;
public class GenerateXml {
private static void Main() {
XmlDocument doc = new XmlDocument();
XmlNode docNode = doc.CreateXmlDeclaration("1.0", "UTF-8", null);
doc.AppendChild(docNode);
XmlNode productsNode = doc.CreateElement("products");
doc.AppendChild(productsNode);
XmlNode productNode = doc.CreateElement("product");
XmlAttribute productAttribute = doc.CreateAttribute("id");
productAttribute.Value = "01";
productNode.Attributes.Append(productAttribute);
productsNode.AppendChild(productNode);
XmlNode nameNode = doc.CreateElement("Name");
nameNode.AppendChild(doc.CreateTextNode("Java"));
productNode.AppendChild(nameNode);
XmlNode priceNode = doc.CreateElement("Price");
priceNode.AppendChild(doc.CreateTextNode("Free"));
productNode.AppendChild(priceNode);
// Create and add another product node.
productNode = doc.CreateElement("product");
productAttribute = doc.CreateAttribute("id");
productAttribute.Value = "02";
productNode.Attributes.Append(productAttribute);
productsNode.AppendChild(productNode);
nameNode = doc.CreateElement("Name");
nameNode.AppendChild(doc.CreateTextNode("C#"));
productNode.AppendChild(nameNode);
priceNode = doc.CreateElement("Price");
priceNode.AppendChild(doc.CreateTextNode("Free"));
productNode.AppendChild(priceNode);
doc.Save(Console.Out);
}
}
And if it needs to be fast, use XmlWriter:
public static void WriteXML()
{
// Create an XmlWriterSettings object with the correct options.
System.Xml.XmlWriterSettings settings = new System.Xml.XmlWriterSettings();
settings.Indent = true;
settings.IndentChars = " "; // "\t";
settings.OmitXmlDeclaration = false;
settings.Encoding = System.Text.Encoding.UTF8;
using (System.Xml.XmlWriter writer = System.Xml.XmlWriter.Create("data.xml", settings))
{
writer.WriteStartDocument();
writer.WriteStartElement("books");
for (int i = 0; i < 100; ++i)
{
writer.WriteStartElement("book");
writer.WriteElementString("item", "Book "+ (i+1).ToString());
writer.WriteEndElement();
}
writer.WriteEndElement();
writer.Flush();
writer.Close();
} // End Using writer
}
And btw, the fastest way to read XML is XmlReader:
public static void ReadXML()
{
using (System.Xml.XmlReader xmlReader = System.Xml.XmlReader.Create("http://www.ecb.int/stats/eurofxref/eurofxref-daily.xml"))
{
while (xmlReader.Read())
{
if ((xmlReader.NodeType == System.Xml.XmlNodeType.Element) && (xmlReader.Name == "Cube"))
{
if (xmlReader.HasAttributes)
System.Console.WriteLine(xmlReader.GetAttribute("currency") + ": " + xmlReader.GetAttribute("rate"));
}
} // Whend
} // End Using xmlReader
System.Console.ReadKey();
}
And the most convenient way to read XML is to just deserialize the XML into a class.
This also works for creating the serialization classes, btw.
You can generate the class from XML with Xml2CSharp:
https://xmltocsharp.azurewebsites.net/
You forgot the #
on the id selector:
if ($("#EventStartTimeMin").val() === "") {
// ...
}
Fur future readers, if you are using Angular 1.6, you also need to change the hashPrefix
:
appModule.config(['$locationProvider', function($locationProvider) {
$locationProvider.html5Mode(true);
$locationProvider.hashPrefix('');
}]);
Don't forget to set the base in your HTML <head>
:
<head>
<base href="/">
...
</head>
More info about the changelog here.
You should in fact URI-encode the "invalid" characters. Since the string actually contains the complete URL, it's hard to properly URI-encode it. You don't know which slashes /
should be taken into account and which not. You cannot predict that on a raw String
beforehand. The problem really needs to be solved at a higher level. Where does that String
come from? Is it hardcoded? Then just change it yourself accordingly. Does it come in as user input? Validate it and show error, let the user solve itself.
At any way, if you can ensure that it are only the spaces in URLs which makes it invalid, then you can also just do a string-by-string replace with %20
:
URI uri = new URI(string.replace(" ", "%20"));
Or if you can ensure that it's only the part after the last slash which needs to be URI-encoded, then you can also just do so with help of android.net.Uri
utility class:
int pos = string.lastIndexOf('/') + 1;
URI uri = new URI(string.substring(0, pos) + Uri.encode(string.substring(pos)));
Do note that URLEncoder
is insuitable for the task as it's designed to encode query string parameter names/values as per application/x-www-form-urlencoded
rules (as used in HTML forms). See also Java URL encoding of query string parameters.
If you want a preset number of columns, you can use column-count and column-gap, as mentioned above.
However, if you want a single column with limited height that would break into more columns if needed, this can be achieved quite simply by changing display to flex.
This will not work on IE9 and some other old browsers. You can check support on Can I use

If you are posting JSON to Django, I think you want request.body
(request.raw_post_data
on Django < 1.4). This will give you the raw JSON data sent via the post. From there you can process it further.
Here is an example using JavaScript, jQuery, jquery-json and Django.
JavaScript:
var myEvent = {id: calEvent.id, start: calEvent.start, end: calEvent.end,
allDay: calEvent.allDay };
$.ajax({
url: '/event/save-json/',
type: 'POST',
contentType: 'application/json; charset=utf-8',
data: $.toJSON(myEvent),
dataType: 'text',
success: function(result) {
alert(result.Result);
}
});
Django:
def save_events_json(request):
if request.is_ajax():
if request.method == 'POST':
print 'Raw Data: "%s"' % request.body
return HttpResponse("OK")
Django < 1.4:
def save_events_json(request):
if request.is_ajax():
if request.method == 'POST':
print 'Raw Data: "%s"' % request.raw_post_data
return HttpResponse("OK")
To append the output of the command to a text filename which includes the current date you can do something like this:
$winupdfile = 'Windows-Update-' + $(get-date -f MM-dd-yyyy) + '.txt'
if (!([Security.Principal.WindowsPrincipal][Security.Principal.WindowsIdentity]::GetCurrent()).IsInRole([Security.Principal.WindowsBuiltInRole] "Administrator")) { Start-Process powershell.exe "-NoProfile -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -Command `"Get-WUInstall -AcceptAll | Out-File $env:USERPROFILE\$winupdfile -Append`"" -Verb RunAs; exit } else { Start-Process powershell.exe "-NoProfile -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -Command `"Get-WUInstall -AcceptAll | Out-File $env:USERPROFILE\$winupdfile -Append`""; exit }
It can also be due to a duplicate entry in any of the tables that are used.
You're looking for http_build_query()

Going back to the __getattribute__ function; if the default implementation was not overridden; the following checks are done when executing the method:
This is the actual implementation of the object.__getattribute__ method:
.. c:function:: PyObject* PyObject_GenericGetAttr(PyObject *o, PyObject *name) Generic attribute getter function that is meant to be put into a type object's tp_getattro slot. It looks for a descriptor in the dictionary of classes in the object's MRO as well as an attribute in the object's :attr:~object.dict (if present). As outlined in :ref:descriptors, data descriptors take preference over instance attributes, while non-data descriptors don't. Otherwise, an :exc:AttributeError is raised.

There is a blog post on MSDN about why an exponent operator does NOT exists from the C# team.
It would be possible to add a power operator to the language, but performing this operation is a fairly rare thing to do in most programs, and it doesn't seem justified to add an operator when calling Math.Pow() is simple.
You asked:
Do I have to write a loop or include another namespace to handle exponential operations? If so, how do I handle exponential operations using non-integers?
Math.Pow
supports double parameters so there is no need for you to write your own.
form
If the name attribute is specified, the form controller is published onto the current scope under this name.
Alias: ngForm
In Angular, forms can be nested. This means that the outer form is valid when all of the child forms are valid as well. However, browsers do not allow nesting of elements, so Angular provides the ngForm directive which behaves identically to but can be nested. This allows you to have nested forms, which is very useful when using Angular validation directives in forms that are dynamically generated using the ngRepeat directive. Since you cannot dynamically generate the name attribute of input elements using interpolation, you have to wrap each set of repeated inputs in an ngForm directive and nest these in an outer form element.
CSS classes
ng-valid is set if the form is valid.
ng-invalid is set if the form is invalid.
ng-pristine is set if the form is pristine.
ng-dirty is set if the form is dirty.
ng-submitted is set if the form was submitted.
Keep in mind that ngAnimate can detect each of these classes when added and removed.
Submitting a form and preventing the default action
Since the role of forms in client-side Angular applications is different than in classical roundtrip apps, it is desirable for the browser not to translate the form submission into a full page reload that sends the data to the server. Instead some javascript logic should be triggered to handle the form submission in an application-specific way.
For this reason, Angular prevents the default action (form submission to the server) unless the element has an action attribute specified.
You can use one of the following two ways to specify what javascript method should be called when a form is submitted:
ngSubmit directive on the form element
ngClick directive on the first button or input field of type submit (input[type=submit])
To prevent double execution of the handler, use only one of the ngSubmit or ngClick directives.
This is because of the following form submission rules in the HTML specification:
If a form has only one input field then hitting enter in this field triggers form submit (ngSubmit)
if a form has 2+ input fields and no buttons or input[type=submit]
then hitting enter doesn't trigger submit
if a form has one or more input fields and one or more buttons or input[type=submit]
then hitting enter in any of the input fields will trigger the click handler on the first button or input[type=submit]
(ngClick) and a submit handler on the enclosing form (ngSubmit).
Any pending ngModelOptions changes will take place immediately when an enclosing form is submitted. Note that ngClick events will occur before the model is updated.
Use ngSubmit to have access to the updated model.
app.js:
angular.module('formExample', [])
.controller('FormController', ['$scope', function($scope) {
$scope.userType = 'guest';
}]);
Form:
<form name="myForm" ng-controller="FormController" class="my-form">
userType: <input name="input" ng-model="userType" required>
<span class="error" ng-show="myForm.input.$error.required">Required!</span>
userType = {{userType}}
myForm.input.$valid = {{myForm.input.$valid}}
myForm.input.$error = {{myForm.input.$error}}
myForm.$valid = {{myForm.$valid}}
myForm.$error.required = {{!!myForm.$error.required}}
</form>

You can change the definition of existing DB column using following sql.
ALTER TABLE mytable modify mycolumn datatype NOT NULL;
This answer didn't work for me, but I found the answer myself. No one, however, has posted my question. I'm too lazy to ask it and then answer it, so will just put it here.
This is for the following query:
data = Leaderboard.objects.filter(id=custom_user.id).values(
'value1',
'value2',
'value3')
In template:
{% for dictionary in data %}
{% for key, value in dictionary.items %}
<p>{{ key }} : {{ value }}</p>
{% endfor %}
{% endfor %}

Solution to the original question
You called a non-static method statically. To make a public function static in the model, would look like this:
public static function {
}
In General:
Post::get()
In this particular instance:
Post::take(2)->get()
One thing to be careful of, when defining relationships and scope, that I had an issue with that caused a 'non-static method should not be called statically' error is when they are named the same, for example:
public function category(){
return $this->belongsTo('App\Category');
}
public function scopeCategory(){
return $query->where('category', 1);
}
When I do the following, I get the non-static error:
Event::category()->get();
The issue, is that Laravel is using my relationship method called category, rather than my category scope (scopeCategory). This can be resolved by renaming the scope or the relationship. I chose to rename the relationship:
public function cat(){
return $this->belongsTo('App\Category', 'category_id');
}
Please observe that I defined the foreign key (category_id) because otherwise Laravel would have looked for cat_id instead, and it wouldn't have found it, as I had defined it as category_id in the database.
I know the answers were correct at the time of asking the question - but since people (like me this minute) still happen to find them wondering why their WildFly 10 was behaving differently, I'd like to give an update for the current Hibernate 5.x version:
In the Hibernate 5.2 User Guide it is stated in chapter 11.2. Applying fetch strategies:
The Hibernate recommendation is to statically mark all associations lazy and to use dynamic fetching strategies for eagerness. This is unfortunately at odds with the JPA specification which defines that all one-to-one and many-to-one associations should be eagerly fetched by default. Hibernate, as a JPA provider, honors that default.
So Hibernate as well behaves like Ashish Agarwal stated above for JPA:
OneToMany: LAZY
ManyToOne: EAGER
ManyToMany: LAZY
OneToOne: EAGER
(see JPA 2.1 Spec)
You need to create an alias for the mother.kind
. You do this like so.
Criteria c = session.createCriteria(Cat.class);
c.createAlias("mother.kind", "motherKind");
c.addOrder(Order.asc("motherKind.value"));
return c.list();
If not done yet, you need to integrate Tomcat in your Servers view. Rightclick there and choose New > Server. Select the appropriate Tomcat version from the list and complete the wizard.
When you create a new Dynamic Web Project, you should select the integrated server from the list as Targeted Runtime in the 1st wizard step.
Or when you have an existing Dynamic Web Project, you can set/change it in Targeted Runtimes entry in project's properties. Eclipse will then automagically add all its libraries to the build path (without having a copy of them in the project!).
I'm also facing this type of problem. After trying all solutions I got final solution on this problem. Reasons for this type of problem is per-defined global fonts. Use !important keyword for each line in @font-face is the solution for this problem.
Full description and example for Solution of this problem is here :- http://answerdone.blogspot.com/2017/06/font-face-not-working-solution.html
just a recursive deep copy function.
def deepcopy(A):
rt = []

else:
rt.append(elem)

Edit: As Cfreak mentioned, this is already implemented in copy
module.
You may like lfqueue, https://github.com/Taymindis/lfqueue. It’s lock free concurrent queue. I’m currently using it to consuming the queue from multiple incoming calls and works like a charm.
I had the same issue, but I have resolved it the next:
1) Install jdk1.8...
2) In AndroidStudio File->Project Structure->SDK Location, select your directory where the JDK is located, by default Studio uses embedded JDK but for some reason it produces error=216.
3) Click Ok.
You can use \r
to go to next line while filling up the UILabel
using NSString
.
UILabel * label;
label.text = [NSString stringWithFormat:@"%@ \r %@",@"first line",@"seconcd line"];
public class someClass
{
public static void main(String[] args) // your app start point
{
long start = java.util.Calendar.getInstance().getTimeInMillis();
... your stuff ...
long end = java.util.Calendar.getInstance().getTimeInMillis();
System.out.println("it took this long to complete this stuff: " + (end - start) + "ms");
}
}
I often use an approach with prototypal inheritance. Overriding toString()
gives you the advantage that tools like Firebug will log the actual information instead of [object Object]
to the console for uncaught exceptions.
Use instanceof
to determine the type of exception.
// just an exemplary namespace
var ns = ns || {};
// include JavaScript of the following
// source files here (e.g. by concatenation)
var someId = 42;
throw new ns.DuplicateIdException('Another item with ID ' +
someId + ' has been created');
// Firebug console:
// uncaught exception: [Duplicate ID] Another item with ID 42 has been created
ns.Exception = function() {
}
/**
* Form a string of relevant information.
*
* When providing this method, tools like Firebug show the returned
* string instead of [object Object] for uncaught exceptions.
*
* @return {String} information about the exception
*/
ns.Exception.prototype.toString = function() {
var name = this.name || 'unknown';
var message = this.message || 'no description';
return '[' + name + '] ' + message;
};
ns.DuplicateIdException = function(message) {
this.name = 'Duplicate ID';
this.message = message;
};
ns.DuplicateIdException.prototype = new ns.Exception();
The number of possible binary search tree with n nodes (elements,items) is
=(2n C n) / (n+1) = ( factorial (2n) / factorial (n) * factorial (2n - n) ) / ( n + 1 )
where 'n' is number of nodes (elements,items )
Example :
for

n=4 BST=14 etc
Best thing I found is: https://github.com/mattt/TTTAttributedLabel
It's a UILabel subclass so you can just drop it in, and then to change the line height:
myLabel.lineHeightMultiple = 0.85;
myLabel.leading = 2;
I use the following helper method, which you can bind to your list.
''' <summary>
''' Returns enumeration as a sortable list.
''' </summary>
''' <param name="t">GetType(some enumeration)</param>
Public Shared Function GetEnumAsList(ByVal t As Type) As SortedList(Of String, Integer)
If Not t.IsEnum Then
Throw New ArgumentException("Type is not an enumeration.")
End If
Dim items As New SortedList(Of String, Integer)
Dim enumValues As Integer() = [Enum].GetValues(t)
Dim enumNames As String() = [Enum].GetNames(t)
For i As Integer = 0 To enumValues.GetUpperBound(0)
items.Add(enumNames(i), enumValues(i))
Next
Return items
End Function
You already got the right answer, but if you dislike the UIColor
interface like me, you can do this:
#import "UIColor+Helper.h"
// ...
myLabel.textColor = [UIColor colorWithRGBA:0xA06105FF];
UIColor+Helper.h:
#import <UIKit/UIKit.h>
@interface UIColor (Helper)
+ (UIColor *)colorWithRGBA:(NSUInteger)color;
@end
UIColor+Helper.m:
#import "UIColor+Helper.h"
@implementation UIColor (Helper)
+ (UIColor *)colorWithRGBA:(NSUInteger)color
{
return [UIColor colorWithRed:((color >> 24) & 0xFF) / 255.0f
green:((color >> 16) & 0xFF) / 255.0f
blue:((color >> 8) & 0xFF) / 255.0f
alpha:((color) & 0xFF) / 255.0f];
}
@end
Visual Assist has a nice solution too, and is highly costumizable.
After tweaking it to generate doxygen-style comments, these two clicks would produce -
/**
* Method: FindTheFoo
* FullName: FindTheFoo
* Access: private
* Qualifier:
* @param int numberOfFoos
* @return bool
*/
private bool FindTheFoo(int numberOfFoos)
{
}
(Under default settings, its a bit different.)
Edit: The way to customize the 'document method' text is under VassistX->Visual Assist Options->Suggestions, select 'Edit VA Snippets', Language: C++, Type: Refactoring, then go to 'Document Method' and customize. The above example is generated by:
I have avoided this error (Java 1.6.0 on OSX 10.5.8) by putting a dummy cert in the keystore, such as

Surely the question should be "Why can't java handle an empty trustStore?"
This thread helped me a lot with my problem, but I've used $.queue in a different way and thought I would post what I came up with here. What I needed was a sequence of events (frames) to be triggered, but the sequence to be built dynamically. I have a variable number of placeholders, each of which should contain an animated sequence of images. The data is held in an array of arrays, so I loop through the arrays to build each sequence for each of the placeholders like this:
/* create an empty queue */
var theQueue = $({});
/* loop through the data array */
for (var i = 0; i < ph.length; i++) {
for (var l = 0; l < ph[i].length; l++) {
/* create a function which swaps an image, and calls the next function in the queue */
theQueue.queue("anim", new Function("cb", "$('ph_"+i+"' img').attr('src', '/images/"+i+"/"+l+".png');cb();"));
/* set the animation speed */
theQueue.delay(200,'anim');
}
}
/* start the animation */
theQueue.dequeue('anim');
This is a simplified version of the script I have arrived at, but should show the principle - when a function is added to the queue, it is added using the Function constructor - this way the function can be written dynamically using variables from the loop(s). Note the way the function is passed the argument for the next() call, and this is invoked at the end. The function in this case has no time dependency (it doesn't use $.fadeIn or anything like that), so I stagger the frames using $.delay.

}

}

}
}

Well; this works as well:
home = "$System.env.HOME"
It's not clear what you're aiming for.
Try the following, none of the above solved it for me
Select "Run as administrator"
Then click on the big left box next to Apache
And Choose to uninstall Apache
I have no idea why this worked but it solved my problem directly!
You can use -[UIButton setTitleColor:forState:]
to do this.
Example:
Objective-C
[buttonName setTitleColor:[UIColor blackColor] forState:UIControlStateNormal];
Swift 2
buttonName.setTitleColor(UIColor.blackColor(), forState: .Normal)
Swift 3

This would eliminate the need for enumeration completely. You could change type to double if required.
To know the names of different desktop browsers (Firefox, IE, Opera, Edge, Chrome). Except Safari.
function getBrowserName() {
var browserName = '';
var userAgent = navigator.userAgent;
(typeof InstallTrigger !== 'undefined') && (browserName = 'Firefox');
( /* @cc_on!@*/ false || !!document.documentMode) && (browserName = 'IE');
(!!window.chrome && userAgent.match(/OPR/)) && (browserName = 'Opera');
(!!window.chrome && userAgent.match(/Edge/)) && (browserName = 'Edge');
(!!window.chrome && !userAgent.match(/(OPR|Edge)/)) && (browserName = 'Chrome');
/**
* Expected returns
* Firefox, Opera, Edge, Chrome
*/
return browserName;
}
Works in the following browser versions:
Opera - 58.0.3135.79
Firefox - 65.0.2 (64-bit)
IE - 11.413.15063 (JS Fiddle no longer supports IE just paste in Console)
Edge - 44.17763.1.0
Chrome - 72.0.3626.121 (Official Build) (64-bit)
View the gist here and the fiddle here
The original code snippet no longer worked for Chrome and I forgot where I found it. It had safari before but I no longer have access to safari so I cannot verify anymore.
Only the Firefox and IE codes were part of the original snippet.
The checking for Opera, Edge, and Chrome is straight forward. They have differences in the userAgent. OPR
only exists in Opera. Edge
only exists in Edge. So to check for Chrome these string shouldn't be there.
As for the Firefox and IE, I cannot explain what they do.
I'll be adding this functionality to a package i'm writing
yes you can do it. write this code on your typescript component and enjoy!
import { Location } from '@angular/common'
import { Component, Input } from '@angular/core'
@Component({
selector: 'return_page',
template: `<button mat-button (click)="onReturn()">Back</button>`,
})
export class ReturnPageComponent {
constructor(private location: Location) { }
onReturn() {
this.location.back();
}
}
As mentioned array.find()
is not supported in IE.
However you can read about a Polyfill here:
https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/JavaScript/Reference/Global_Objects/Array/find#Polyfill
This method has been added to the ECMAScript 2015 specification and may not be available in all JavaScript implementations yet. However, you can polyfill Array.prototype.find with the following snippet:
Code:
// https://tc39.github.io/ecma262/#sec-array.prototype.find
if (!Array.prototype.find) {
Object.defineProperty(Array.prototype, 'find', {
value: function(predicate) {
// 1. Let O be ? ToObject(this value).
if (this == null) {
throw new TypeError('"this" is null or not defined');
}
var o = Object(this);
// 2. Let len be ? ToLength(? Get(O, "length")).
var len = o.length >>> 0;
// 3. If IsCallable(predicate) is false, throw a TypeError exception.
if (typeof predicate !== 'function') {
throw new TypeError('predicate must be a function');
}
// 4. If thisArg was supplied, let T be thisArg; else let T be undefined.
var thisArg = arguments[1];
// 5. Let k be 0.
var k = 0;
// 6. Repeat, while k < len
while (k < len) {
// a. Let Pk be ! ToString(k).
// b. Let kValue be ? Get(O, Pk).
// c. Let testResult be ToBoolean(? Call(predicate, T, « kValue, k, O »)).
// d. If testResult is true, return kValue.
var kValue = o[k];
if (predicate.call(thisArg, kValue, k, o)) {
return kValue;
}
// e. Increase k by 1.
k++;
}
// 7. Return undefined.
return undefined;
}
});
}
There's no built-in JavaScript function to do this, but you can write your own fairly easily:
function pad(n) {
return (n < 10) ? ("0" + n) : n;
}
Meanwhile there is a native JS function that does that. See String#padStart
console.log(String(5).padStart(2, '0'));

I'd like to add another use case for an internal struct
/class
and its usability. An inner struct
is often used to declare a data only member of a class that packs together relevant information and as such we can enclose it all in a struct
instead of loose data members lying around.
The inner struct
/class
is but a data only compartment, ie it has no functions (except maybe constructors).
#include <iostream>
class E
{
// E functions..
public:
struct X
{
int v;
// X variables..
} x;
// E variables..
};
int main()
{
E e;
e.x.v = 9;
std::cout << e.x.v << '\n';
E e2{5};
std::cout << e2.x.v << '\n';
// You can instantiate an X outside E like so:
//E::X xOut{24};
//std::cout << xOut.v << '\n';
// But you shouldn't want to in this scenario.
// X is only a data member (containing other data members)
// for use only inside the internal operations of E
// just like the other E's data members
}
This practice is widely used in graphics, where the inner struct
will be sent as a Constant Buffer to HLSL.
But I find it neat and useful in many cases.
You have to know that:
Assignment operators syntax is: variable = expression;
For this reason 1 += 2
-> 1 = 1 + 2
is not a valid syntax as the left operand isn't a variable. The error in this case is ReferenceError: invalid assignment left-hand side
.
x += y
is the short form for x = x + y
, where x
is the variable and x + y
the expression.
The result of the sum is 15.
sum = 0; sum = sum + 1; // 1 sum = sum + 2; // 3 sum = sum + 3; // 6 sum = sum + 4; // 10 sum = sum + 5; // 15
Other assignment operator shortcuts works the same way (relatively to the standard operations they refer to). .
Use your bean class like this, if your JSON data starts with an an array object. it helps you.
Users[] bean = gson.fromJson(response,Users[].class);
Users is my bean class.
Response is my JSON data.
I have no idea why Enums are not support natively by Python. The best way I've found to emulate them is by overridding _ str _ and _ eq _ so you can compare them and when you use print() you get the string instead of the numerical value.
class enumSeason():
Spring = 0
Summer = 1
Fall = 2
Winter = 3
def __init__(self, Type):
self.value = Type
def __str__(self):
if self.value == enumSeason.Spring:
return 'Spring'
if self.value == enumSeason.Summer:
return 'Summer'
if self.value == enumSeason.Fall:
return 'Fall'
if self.value == enumSeason.Winter:
return 'Winter'
def __eq__(self,y):
return self.value==y.value
Usage:
>>> s = enumSeason(enumSeason.Spring)
>>> print(s)
Spring
That's not how ASP.NET MVC is supposed to be used. You do not redirect from views. You redirect from the corresponding controller action:
public ActionResult SomeAction()
{
...
return RedirectToAction("SomeAction", "SomeController");
}
Now since I see that in your example you are attempting to redirect to the LogOn
action, you don't really need to do this redirect manually, but simply decorate the controller action that requires authentication with the [Authorize]
attribute:
[Authorize]
public ActionResult SomeProtectedAction()
{
...
}
Now when some anonymous user attempts to access this controller action, the Forms Authentication module will automatically intercept the request much before it hits the action and redirect the user to the LogOn action that you have specified in your web.config (loginUrl
).
If you use Hadoop version 2.6.1 above, while the command works, it complains that its depreciated. I actually could not use the hadoop dfsadmin -safemode leave
because I was running Hadoop in a Docker container and that command magically fails when run in the container, so what I did was this. I checked doc and found dfs.safemode.threshold.pct
in documentation that says
Specifies the percentage of blocks that should satisfy the minimal replication requirement defined by dfs.replication.min. Values less than or equal to 0 mean not to wait for any particular percentage of blocks before exiting safemode. Values greater than 1 will make safe mode permanent.
so I changed the hdfs-site.xml
into the following (In older Hadoop versions, apparently you need to do it in hdfs-default.xml
:
<configuration>
<property>
<name>dfs.safemode.threshold.pct</name>
<value>0</value>
</property>
</configuration>
I tried almost all of this. but still couldn't work. Finally I found it was because of 24bitmap problems. If you tried some bitmap which less than 24bit. Most of those above methods should work.
In my case I had the same problem because I try to debug signed apk. In my gradle config I made differents build variants, and try to debug release build with production keystore.jks
Here's a flow chart that illustrates a for loop:
The equivalent C code would be
for(i = 2; i <= 6; i = i + 2) {
printf("%d\t", i + 1);
}
I found this and several other examples on one of Tenouk's C Laboratory practice worksheets.
public static Stream GenerateStreamFromString(string s)
{
var stream = new MemoryStream();
var writer = new StreamWriter(stream);
writer.Write(s);
writer.Flush();
stream.Position = 0;
return stream;
}
Don't forget to use Using:
using (var stream = GenerateStreamFromString("a,b \n c,d"))
{
// ... Do stuff to stream
}
About the StreamWriter
not being disposed. StreamWriter
is just a wrapper around the base stream, and doesn't use any resources that need to be disposed. The Dispose
method will close the underlying Stream
that StreamWriter
is writing to. In this case that is the MemoryStream
we want to return.
In .NET 4.5 there is now an overload for StreamWriter
that keeps the underlying stream open after the writer is disposed of, but this code does the same thing and works with other versions of .NET too.
See Is there any way to close a StreamWriter without closing its BaseStream?

iOS 5 has implemented Custom Vibrations mode. So in some cases variable vibration is acceptable. The only thing is unknown what library deals with that (pretty sure not CoreTelephony) and if it is open for developers. So keep on searching.
You can use this IE HTML5 shim script to gain a basic level of support for the new semantic elements in HTML5 such as <article>

From SQL 2008 you can use DATE datatype so you can simply do:
SELECT CONVERT(DATE,GETDATE())
OR
Select * from [User] U
where CONVERT(DATE,U.DateCreated) = '2014-02-07'
The problem located on the following line
SELECT @Prefix + LEN(CAST(@maxCode AS VARCHAR(10))+1) + CAST(@maxCode AS VARCHAR(100))
Use this instead
SELECT @Prefix + CAST(LEN(CAST(@maxCode AS VARCHAR(10))+1) AS VARCHAR(100)) + CAST(@maxCode AS VARCHAR(100))
Full Code:
CREATE PROC [dbo].[getVoucherNo]
AS
BEGIN
DECLARE @Prefix VARCHAR(10)='J'
DECLARE @startFrom INT=1
DECLARE @maxCode VARCHAR(100)
DECLARE @sCode INT
IF((SELECT COUNT(*) FROM dbo.Journal_Entry) > 0)
BEGIN
SELECT @maxCode = CAST(MAX(CAST(SUBSTRING(VoucharNo,LEN(@startFrom)+1,LEN(VoucharNo)- LEN(@Prefix)) AS INT))+1 AS varchar(100)) FROM dbo.Journal_Entry;
SET @sCode=CAST(@maxCode AS INT)
SELECT @Prefix + CAST(LEN(CAST(@maxCode AS VARCHAR(10))+1) AS VARCHAR(100)) + CAST(@maxCode AS VARCHAR(100))
END
ELSE
BEGIN
SELECT(@Prefix + CAST(@startFrom AS VARCHAR))
END
END
You have it almost done. Just explicitly say where to create the file
@echo off
echo.>"d:\testing\dblank.txt"
This creates a file containing a blank line (CR + LF = 2 bytes).
If you want the file empty (0 bytes)
@echo off
break>"d:\testing\dblank.txt"
If you are worrying about Case sensitive change the case and compare the string.
if (stringvalue.toLocaleLowerCase().indexOf("mytexttocompare")!=-1)
{
alert("found");
}
Since none of the answers here solved my particular issue, I should probably add my own solution to to the list.
I had to hard reset my computer while MAMP was still running. This sometimes leads to a problem where, after restarting the machine MAMP can start the Apache Server
, but can not start the MySQL server
for some reason.
My solution for this issue was to:
Applications/MAMP/tmp/mysql
mysql.sock.lock
It works for me:
function stringIncludes(a, b) {
return a.indexOf(b) !== -1;
}
The direct solution would be to invoke ifPresent(consumer)
on the Optional returned by findFirst()
. This consumer will be invoked when the optional is not empty. The benefit also is that it won't throw an exception if the find operation returned an empty optional, like your current code would do; instead, nothing will happen.
If you want to return the removed value, you can map
the Optional
to the result of calling remove
:
producersProcedureActive.stream()
.filter(producer -> producer.getPod().equals(pod))
.findFirst()
.map(p -> {
producersProcedureActive.remove(p);
return p;
});
But note that the remove(Object)
operation will again traverse the list to find the element to remove. If you have a list with random access, like an ArrayList
, it would be better to make a Stream over the indexes of the list and find the first index matching the predicate:
IntStream.range(0, producersProcedureActive.size())
.filter(i -> producersProcedureActive.get(i).getPod().equals(pod))
.boxed()
.findFirst()
.map(i -> producersProcedureActive.remove((int) i));
With this solution, the remove(int)
operation operates directly on the index.
With PHP version 7.2 I just used nd_mysqli instead of mysqli and it worked as expected.

Edge has dropped all support for plugins. This means that Java, ActiveX, Silverlight, and other plugins are no longer supported. For this reason Microsoft has included Internet Explorer 11, which does support these plugins, with non-mobile versions of Windows 10. If you are running Windows 10 and need plugin support Edge is not an option, but IE 11 is.

The solution of creating a new HTML file with HTML (Web Forms) Designer worked for that file but not for other, individual HTML files that I wanted to edit.
I did find the Open With option in the Open File dialogue and was able to select the HTML (Web Forms) Editor there. Having clicked the "Set as Default" option in that window, VS then remembered to use that editor when I opened other HTML files.
Assuming you don't count connection set-up (as you indicated in your update), it strongly depends on the cipher chosen. Network overhead (in terms of bandwidth) will be negligible. CPU overhead will be dominated by cryptography. On my mobile Core i5, I can encrypt around 250 MB per second with RC4 on a single core. (RC4 is what you should choose for maximum performance.) AES is slower, providing "only" around 50 MB/s. So, if you choose correct ciphers, you won't manage to keep a single current core busy with the crypto overhead even if you have a fully utilized 1 Gbit line. [Edit: RC4 should not be used because it is no longer secure. However, AES hardware support is now present in many CPUs, which makes AES encryption really fast on such platforms.]
Connection establishment, however, is different. Depending on the implementation (e.g. support for TLS false start), it will add round-trips, which can cause noticable delays. Additionally, expensive crypto takes place on the first connection establishment (above-mentioned CPU could only accept 14 connections per core per second if you foolishly used 4096-bit keys and 100 if you use 2048-bit keys). On subsequent connections, previous sessions are often reused, avoiding the expensive crypto.
So, to summarize:
Transfer on established connection:
First connection establishment:
Subsequent connection establishments:
After some experimenting, I think the algorithm for LinearLayout is this:
Assume that weightSum
is set to a value. The case of absence is discussed later.
First, divide the weightSum
by the number of elements whith match_parent
or fill_parent
in the dimension of the LinearLayout (e.g. layout_width
for orientation="horizontal"
). We will call this value the weight multiplier for each element. The default value for weightSum
is 1.0, so the default weight multiplier is 1/n
, where n
is the number of fill_parent
elements; wrap_content
elements do not contribute to n
.
E.g. when weightSum
is 60, and there are 3 fill_parent
elements, the weight multiplier is 20. The weight multiplier is the default value for e.g. layout_width
if the attribute is absent.
Second, the maximum possible expansion of every element is computed. First, the wrap_content
elements are computed according to their contents. Their expansion is deducted from the expansion of the parent container. We will call the remainer expansion_remainer
. This remainder is distributed among fill_parent
elements according to their layout_weight
.
Third, the expansion of every fill_parent
element is computed as:
Example:
If weightSum
is 60, and there are 3 fill_parent
elements with the weigths 10, 20 and 30, their expansion on the screen is 2/3, 1/3 and 0/3 of the parent container.
weight | expansion
0 | 3/3
10 | 2/3
20 | 1/3
30 | 0/3
40 | 0/3
The minimum expansion is capped at 0. The maximum expansion is capped at parent size, i.e. weights are capped at 0.
If an element is set to wrap_content
, its expansion is calculated first, and the remaining expansion is subject to distribution among the fill_parent
elements. If weightSum
is set, this leads to layout_weight
having no effect on wrap_content
elements.
However, wrap_content
elements can still be pushed out of the visible area by elements whose weight is lower than (e.g. between 0-1 for weightSum
= 1 or between 0-20 for the above example).
If no weightSum
is specified, it is computed as the sum of all layout_weight
values, including elements with wrap_content
set! So having layout_weight
set on wrap_content
elements, can influence their expansion. E.g. a negative weight will shrink the other fill_parent
elements.
Before the fill_parent
elements are laid out, will the above formula be applied to wrap_content
elements, with maximum possible expansion being their expansion according to the wrapped content. The wrap_content
elements will be shrunk, and afterwards the maximum possible expansion for the remaining fill_parent
elements is computed and distributed.
This can lead to unintuitive results.

in 2020, this behavior still present with VS2019. (even if I clean projects from the solution explorer in VS2019, this not solves the problem)
The solution that worked for me was to open the folder of the project, and manually remove the \bin and \obj directories.
As of Bootstrap 4, you can use the spacing utilities.
Add for instance px-2
in the classes of the nav-item
to increase the padding.
For comparing 2 strings, either use the built in function strcmp()
using header file string.h
if(strcmp(a,b)==0)
printf("Entered strings are equal");
else
printf("Entered strings are not equal");
OR you can write your own function like this:
int string_compare(char str1[], char str2[])
{
int ctr=0;
while(str1[ctr]==str2[ctr])
{
if(str1[ctr]=='\0'||str2[ctr]=='\0')
break;
ctr++;
}
if(str1[ctr]=='\0' && str2[ctr]=='\0')
return 0;
else
return -1;

Didn't test ist, but this looks promising:
It is obviously splitting AVI into segments of same size, which implies these chunks don't loose quality or increase memory or must be recalculated.
It also uses the codec copy - does that mean it can handle very large streams ? Because this is my problem, i want to break down my avi so i could use a filter to get rid of the distorsion. But a whole avi runs for hours.
I found the solution. Actually Base64 class is not available in Android. Link is given below for more information.
byte[] byteArray;
byteArray= json.getBytes(StandardCharsets.US_ASCII);
String encoded=Base64.encodeBytes(byteArray);
userLogin(encoded);
Here is the link for Base64 class: http://androidcodemonkey.blogspot.com/2010/03/how-to-base64-encode-decode-android.html

Q: What's the difference between the java.lang.String
methods replace()
and replaceAll()
, other than that the latter uses regex.
A: Just the regex. They both replace all :)
http://docs.oracle.com/javase/8/docs/api/java/lang/String.html
PS:
There's also a replaceFirst()
(which takes a regex)
there are two ways to install mysql client on centOS.
download rpm package from mysql website https://downloads.mysql.com/archives/community/
if you download this rpm package like picture, it's filename like mysql-community-client-8.0.21-1.el8.x86_64.rpm.
then execute sudo rpm -ivh --nodeps --force mysql-community-client-8.0.21-1.el8.x86_64.rpm
can install the rpm package the parameters -ivh
means install, print output, don't verify and check.
if raise error, maybe version conflict, you can execute rpm -pa | grep mysql
to find conflicting package, then execute rpm -e --nodeps <package name>
to remove them, and install once more.
finnaly, you can execute which mysql
, it's success if print /usr/bin/mysql.
Please refer to this official website:
First, array_length
should be an integer and not a string:
array_length = len(array_dates)
Second, your for
loop should be constructed using range
:
for i in range(array_length): # Use `xrange` for python 2.
Third, i
will increment automatically, so delete the following line:
i += 1
Note, one could also just zip
the two lists given that they have the same length:
import csv
dates = ['2020-01-01', '2020-01-02', '2020-01-03']
urls = ['www.abc.com', 'www.cnn.com', 'www.nbc.com']
csv_file_patch = '/path/to/filename.csv'
with open(csv_file_patch, 'w') as fout:
csv_file = csv.writer(fout, delimiter=';', lineterminator='\n')
result_array = zip(dates, urls)
csv_file.writerows(result_array)
In netbeans, you can right click the mouse and then save as a .txt file. Then, based on the created .txt file, you can convert to the file in any format you want to get.
for (x in restaurants) {
if (restaurants[x].restaurant.food == 'chicken') {
return restaurants[x].restaurant.name;
}
}
Try like this, it worked for me
<root>
<!--<level value="ALL" />-->
<level value="ERROR" />
<level value="INFO" />
<level value="WARN" />
</root>
This logs 3 types of errors - error, info, and warning
The corners are actually in .modal-content
So you may try this:
.modal-content {
background-color: #0480be;
}
.modal-body {
background-color: #fff;
}
If you change the color of the header or footer, the rounded corners will be drawn over.
With dplyr
it's now also possible to access a specific column of a dataframe by simply using double curly braces {{...}}
around the desired column name within the function body, e.g. for col_name
:
library(tidyverse)
fun <- function(df, col_name){
df %>%
filter({{col_name}} == "test_string")
}
Generic answer
This error is caused when you call a function that expects an Object as its argument, but pass undefined or null instead, like for example
Object.keys(null)
Object.assign(window.UndefinedVariable, {})
As that is usually by mistake, the solution is to check your code and fix the null/undefined condition so that the function either gets a proper Object, or does not get called at all.
Object.keys({'key': 'value'})
if (window.UndefinedVariable) {
Object.assign(window.UndefinedVariable, {})
}
Answer specific to the code in question
The line if (obj === 'null') { return null;} // null unchanged
will not
evaluate when given null
, only if given the string "null"
. So if you pass the actual null
value to your script, it will be parsed in the Object part of the code. And Object.keys(null)
throws the TypeError
mentioned. To fix it, use if(obj === null) {return null}
- without the qoutes around null.
Don't agree with post above. I have a Hero with only English available and I want Spanish.
I installed MoreLocale 2, and it has lots of different languages (Dutch among them). I choose Spanish, Sense UI restarted and EVERYTHING in my phone changed to Spanish: menus, settings, etc. The keyboard predictive text defaulted to Spanish and started suggesting words in Spanish. This means, somewhere within the OS there is a Spanish dictionary hidden and MoreLocale made it available.
The problem is that English is still the only option available in keyboard input language so I can switch to English but can't switch back to Spanish unless I restart Sense UI, which takes a couple of minutes so not a very practical solution.
Still looking for an easier way to do it so please help.
Yes it stops execution so this is generally preferable to HAVING COUNT(*) > 0
which often won't.
With EXISTS
if you look at the execution plan you will see that the actual number of rows coming out of table1
will not be more than 1 irrespective of number of matching records.
In some circumstances SQL Server can convert the tree for the COUNT
query to the same as the one for EXISTS
during the simplification phase (with a semi join and no aggregate operator in sight) an example of that is discussed in the comments here.
For more complicated sub trees than shown in the question you may occasionally find the COUNT
performs better than EXISTS
however. Because the semi join needs only retrieve one row from the sub tree this can encourage a plan with nested loops for that part of the tree - which may not work out optimal in practice.
I was having "(...) unable to handle this request. http error 500" and found out it was from a require_once that was working locally, on a windows machine, with backslash (\) as separator for directories but when i uploaded to my server it stopped working. I changed it to forward slash (/) and now is ok.
require_once ( 'cards\cards.php' ); // **http error 500**
require_once ( 'cards/cards.php' ); // OK
One option would be to store the hash (SHA1, MD5) of the password instead of the clear-text password, and whenever you want to see if the password is good, just compare it to that hash.
If you need secure storage (for example for a password that you will use to connect to a service), then the problem is more complicated.
If it is just for authentication, then it would be enough to use the hash.
A better JQuery answer would be:
$('#ParentContainer').scroll(function() {
$('#FixedDiv').animate({top:$(this).scrollTop()});
});
You can also add a number after scrollTop i.e .scrollTop() + 5 to give it buff.
A good suggestion would also to limit the duration to 100 and go from default swing to linear easing.
$('#ParentContainer').scroll(function() {
$('#FixedDiv').animate({top:$(this).scrollTop()},100,"linear");
})
Actually, you only need to use the default
argument to add_argument
as in this test.py
script:
import argparse
if __name__ == '__main__':
parser = argparse.ArgumentParser()
parser.add_argument('--example', default=1)
args = parser.parse_args()
print(args.example)
test.py --example
% 1
test.py --example 2
% 2

In Android studio 2.2 you can directly analyze the apk. Goto build- analyze apk. Select the apk, navigate to androidmanifest.xml. You can see the details of androidmanifest.
If you only need the indices, you could try numpy.ndindex
:
>>> a = numpy.arange(9).reshape(3, 3)
>>> [(x, y) for x, y in numpy.ndindex(a.shape)]
[(0, 0), (0, 1), (0, 2), (1, 0), (1, 1), (1, 2), (2, 0), (2, 1), (2, 2)]
This is a perfect example of where you should use the macro recorder. Turn on the recorder and set the color of the cells through the UI. Stop the recorder and review the macro. It will generate a bunch of extraneous code, but it will also show you syntax that works for what you are trying to accomplish. Strip out what you don't need and modify (if you need to) what's left.
I had this issue when animating some views and the app would go into background mode and come back. I handled it by setting a flag isActive. I set it to NO in
- (void)applicationWillResignActive:(UIApplication *)application
and YES in
- (void)applicationDidBecomeActive:(UIApplication *)application
and animate or not animate my views accordingly. Took care of the issue.
--pylab
no longer works for Jupyter, but fortunately we can add a tweak in the ipython_config.py
file to get both pylab
as well as autoreload
functionalities.
c.InteractiveShellApp.extensions = ['autoreload', 'pylab']
c.InteractiveShellApp.exec_lines = ['%autoreload 2', '%pylab']
Try this, seems the uniq function needs a sorted list to work properly.
use strict;
# Helper function to remove duplicates in a list.
sub uniq {
my %seen;
grep !$seen{$_}++, @_;
}
my @teststrings = ("one", "two", "three", "one");
my @filtered = uniq @teststrings;
print "uniq: @filtered\n";
my @sorted = sort @teststrings;
print "sort: @sorted\n";
my @sortedfiltered = uniq sort @teststrings;
print "uniq sort : @sortedfiltered\n";
You can use Postgres' SIMILAR TO
operator which supports alternations, i.e.
select * from table where lower(value) similar to '%(foo|bar|baz)%';
For backend GTK3Agg, use maximize()
-- notably with a lower case m:
manager = plt.get_current_fig_manager()
manager.window.maximize()
Tested in Ubuntu 20.04 with Python 3.8.
You could probably trying using Yahoo or Google's APIs. They are generic, but by specifying the right set of parameters, you could probably narrow down the results to just hotels. Check out Yahoo's Local Search API and Google's Local Search API
Yes this is the way:
Right click on your program, select run -> run configuration then on vm argument

Then you can apply and close.
This is my take on it:
public enum LoginState {
LOGGED_IN(1), LOGGED_OUT(0), IN_TRANSACTION(-1);
private int code;
LoginState(int code) {
this.code = code;
}
public int getCode() {
return code;
}
public static LoginState getLoginStateFromCode(int code){
for(LoginState e : LoginState.values()){
if(code == e.code) return e;
}
return LoginState.LOGGED_OUT; //or null
}
};
And I have used it with System Preferences in Android like so:
LoginState getLoginState(int i) {
return LoginState.getLoginStateFromCode(
prefs().getInt(SPK_IS_LOGIN, LoginState.LOGGED_OUT.getCode())
);
}
public static void setLoginState(LoginState newLoginState) {
editor().putInt(SPK_IS_LOGIN, newLoginState.getCode());
editor().commit();
}
where pref
and editor
are SharedPreferences
and a SharedPreferences.Editor
First of all you missed ScriptService attribute to add in webservice.
[ScriptService]
After then try following method to call webservice via JSON.
var webAddr = "http://Domain/VBRService.asmx/callJson"; var httpWebRequest = (HttpWebRequest)WebRequest.Create(webAddr); httpWebRequest.ContentType = "application/json; charset=utf-8"; httpWebRequest.Method = "POST"; using (var streamWriter = new StreamWriter(httpWebRequest.GetRequestStream())) { string json = "{\"x\":\"true\"}"; streamWriter.Write(json); streamWriter.Flush(); } var httpResponse = (HttpWebResponse)httpWebRequest.GetResponse(); using (var streamReader = new StreamReader(httpResponse.GetResponseStream())) { var result = streamReader.ReadToEnd(); return result; }
Class' members are private by default. Struct's members are public by default. Besides that there are no other differences. Also see this question.
Note : This answer is now out-of-date. This changes the theme in "preview" only as @imjohnking and @john-ktejik pointed out. As @Shahzeb mentioned, theme can modified in res>values>styles
Android Studio 0.8.2 provides a slightly easier way to change the theme. In the preview window, you can select the theme of "Holo.Light.DarkActionBar" by clicking on the theme combo box just above the phone.
Or do a ctrl + click on the @style/AppTheme in the Android manifest file. It will open styles.xml file where you can change the parent attribute of the style tag.
When using the Support Library, you must instead use the Theme.AppCompat themes:

This should work:
txtfarmersize = Convert.ToInt32(reader["farmsize"]);
What's your definition of a month? Technically a month can be 28,29,30 or 31 days depending on the month and leap years.
It seems you're considering a month to be 30 days since in your example you disregarded that May has 31 days, so why not just do the following?
SELECT DATEDIFF(DAY, '2009-04-16', '2009-05-15')/30
, DATEDIFF(DAY, '2009-04-16', '2009-05-16')/30
, DATEDIFF(DAY, '2009-04-16', '2009-06-16')/30
I like Zarembisty's answer. Although, if you want to be more explicit, you can always do:
if len(my_list) == 0:
print "my_list is empty"
Plain JavaScript
If a DOM element which is removed is reference-free (no references pointing to it) then yes - the element itself is picked up by the garbage collector as well as any event handlers/listeners associated with it.
var a = document.createElement('div');
var b = document.createElement('p');
// Add event listeners to b etc...
a.appendChild(b);
a.removeChild(b);
b = null;
// A reference to 'b' no longer exists
// Therefore the element and any event listeners attached to it are removed.
However; if there are references that still point to said element, the element and its event listeners are retained in memory.
var a = document.createElement('div');
var b = document.createElement('p');
// Add event listeners to b etc...
a.appendChild(b);
a.removeChild(b);
// A reference to 'b' still exists
// Therefore the element and any associated event listeners are still retained.
jQuery
It would be fair to assume that the relevant methods in jQuery (such as remove()
) would function in the exact same way (considering remove()
was written using removeChild()
for example).
However, this isn't true; the jQuery library actually has an internal method (which is undocumented and in theory could be changed at any time) called cleanData()
(here is what this method looks like) which automatically cleans up all the data/events associated with an element upon removal from the DOM (be this via. remove()
, empty()
, html("")
etc).
Older browsers - specifically older versions of IE - are known to have memory leak issues due to event listeners keeping hold of references to the elements they were attached to.
If you want a more in-depth explanation of the causes, patterns and solutions used to fix legacy IE version memory leaks, I fully recommend you read this MSDN article on Understanding and Solving Internet Explorer Leak Patterns.
A few more articles relevant to this:
Manually removing the listeners yourself would probably be a good habit to get into in this case (only if the memory is that vital to your application and you are actually targeting such browsers).
I just found a solution for jaxrs-ri-2.16 - simply use
String output = response.readEntity(String.class)
this delivers the content as expected.
if x
is a vector with raw scores then scale(x)
is a vector with standardized scores.
Or manually: (x-mean(x))/sd(x)
I needed point in triangle check in "controlable environment" when you're absolutely sure that triangles will be clockwise. So, I took Perro Azul's jsfiddle and modified it as suggested by coproc for such cases; also removed redundant 0.5 and 2 multiplications because they're just cancel each other.

// ask JVM to delete it upon JVM exit if you forgot / can't delete due exception

I'm using Juno 4.2 with latest spring, maven plugin and JDK1.6.0_25.
I faced same issue and here is my fix that make default after each Eclipse restart:
After quite a lot of work I was able to reproduce the desired behavior. I had emulated the login through MockMvc. It is too heavy for most unit tests but helpful for integration tests.
Of course I am willing to see those new features in Spring Security 4.0 that will make our testing easier.

Here's my attempt inside of an outer controller using coffeescript. It works rather well. Please note that settings.screen.xs|sm|md|lg are static values defined in a non-uglified file I include with the app. The values are per the Bootstrap 3 official breakpoints for the eponymous media query sizes:
xs = settings.screen.xs // 480
sm = settings.screen.sm // 768
md = settings.screen.md // 992
lg = settings.screen.lg // 1200
doMediaQuery = () ->
w = angular.element($window).width()
$scope.xs = w < sm
$scope.sm = w >= sm and w < md
$scope.md = w >= md and w < lg
$scope.lg = w >= lg
$scope.media = if $scope.xs
"xs"
else if $scope.sm
"sm"
else if $scope.md
"md"
else
"lg"
$document.ready () -> doMediaQuery()
angular.element($window).bind 'resize', () -> doMediaQuery()
