I was getting the same error on a restored database when I tried to insert a new record using the EntityFramework. It turned out that the Indentity/Seed was screwing things up.
Using a reseed command fixed it.

It's perfectly possible to update multiple columns in the same statement, and in fact your code is doing it. So why does it seem that "INV_TOTAL is not updating, only the inv_discount"?
Because you're updating INV_TOTAL with INV_DISCOUNT, and the database is going to use the existing value of INV_DISCOUNT and not the one you change it to. So I'm afraid what you need to do is this:

Perhaps that seems a bit clunky to you. It is, but the problem lies in your data model. Storing derivable values in the table, rather than deriving when needed, rarely leads to elegant SQL.

As stated here: UITextField text change event, it seems that as of iOS 6 (iOS 6.0 and 6.1 checked) it is not possible to fully detect changes in UITextField
objects just by observing the UITextFieldTextDidChangeNotification
.
It seems that only those changes made directly by the built-in iOS keyboard are tracked now. This means that if you change your UITextField
object just by invoking something like this: myUITextField.text = @"any_text"
, you won't be notified about any changes at all.
I don't know if this is a bug or it is intended. Seems like a bug since I haven't found any reasonable explanation in documentation. This is also stated here: UITextField text change event.
My "solution" to this is to actually post a notification by myself for every change I make to my UITextField
(if that change is done without using the built-in iOS keyboard). Something like this:

A slightly different approach would be to post a custom notification (this is, with a custom name other than UITextFieldTextDidChangeNotification
) if you actually need to know whether the notification was yours or "iOS-made".

I've just found a different approach which I think could be better:
This involves the Key-Value Observing (KVO) feature of Objective-C (http://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#documentation/cocoa/conceptual/KeyValueObserving/KeyValueObserving.html#//apple_ref/doc/uid/10000177-BCICJDHA).
Basically, you register yourself as an observer of a property and if this property changes you get notified about it. The "principle" is quite similar to how NSNotificationCenter
works, being the main advantage that this approach works automatically also as of iOS 6 (without any special tweak like having to manually post notifications).
For our UITextField
-scenario this works just fine if you add this code to, for example, your UIViewController
that contains the text field:

One case which hasn't been covered is how to handle cancellation inside of an async method. Take for example a simple case where you need to upload some data to a service get it to calculate something and then return some results.

If they are very long running calls though you could be waiting a while to cancel. I created a little helper method to instead fail as soon as canceled.

Here, the lazy fetching doesn't refer to relationships of the entity but the entity itself.
It means that if we invoke getOne()
and then the Persistence context is closed, the entity may be never loaded and so the result is really unpredictable.
For example if the proxy object is serialized, you could get a null
reference as serialized result or if a method is invoked on the proxy object, an exception such as LazyInitializationException
is thrown.

There is no single magic function to force a frame to a minimum or fixed size. However, you can certainly force the size of a frame by giving the frame a width and height. You then have to do potentially two more things: when you put this window in a container you need to make sure the geometry manager doesn't shrink or expand the window. It is always acceptable for System.in.available() to return 0.
I've found the opposite - it always returns the best value for the number of bytes available. Javadoc for InputStream.available()
:
Returns an estimate of the number of bytes that can be read (or skipped over)
from this input stream without blocking by the next invocation of a method for
this input stream.
An estimate is unavoidable due to timing/staleness. The figure can be a one-off underestimate because new data are constantly arriving. However it always "catches up" on the next call - it should account for all arrived data, bar that arriving just at the moment of the new call. Permanently returning 0 when there are data fails the condition above.
First Caveat: Concrete subclasses of InputStream are responsible for available()
InputStream
is an abstract class. It has no data source. It's meaningless for it to have available data. Hence, javadoc for available()
also states:
The available method for class InputStream always returns 0.
This method should be overridden by subclasses.
And indeed, the concrete input stream classes do override available(), providing meaningful values, not constant 0s.
Second Caveat: Ensure you use carriage-return when typing input in Windows.
If using System.in
, your program only receives input when your command shell hands it over. If you're using file redirection/pipes (e.g. somefile > java myJavaApp or somecommand | java myJavaApp ), then input data are usually handed over immediately. However, if you manually type input, then data handover can be delayed. E.g. With windows cmd.exe shell, the data are buffered within cmd.exe shell. Data are only passed to the executing java program following carriage-return (control-m or <enter>
). That's a limitation of the execution environment. Of course, InputStream.available() will return 0 for as long as the shell buffers the data - that's correct behaviour; there are no available data at that point. I don't know if you can automatically change the color, but you could exploit your loop to generate different colors:

I realize the question might be rather old, but you say the backend is running on the same server. That means on a different port, probably other than the default port 80.
I've read that when you use the "connectionManagement" configuration element, you need to specify the port number if it differs from the default 80.

Secondly, if you choose to use the default configuration (address="*") extended with your own backend specific value, you might consider putting the specific value first! Otherwise, if a request is made, the * matches first and the default of 2 connections is taken. Just like when you use the section in web.config.

I was using the suggestions in this post to write to a serial port, then using the info from another post to read from the port, with mixed results. I found that using screen is an "easier" solution, since it opens a terminal session directly with that port. (I put easier in quotes, because screen has a really weird interface, IMO, and takes some further reading to figure it out.)
You can issue this command to open a screen session, then anything you type will be sent to the port, plus the return values will be printed below it:
screen /dev/ttyS0 19200,cs8
(Change the above to fit your needs for speed, parity, stop bits, etc.) I realize screen isn't the "linux command line" as the post specifically asks for, but I think it's in the same spirit. Plus, you don't have to type echo and quotes every time.

was a result of Spring's decision to combine several annotations into one. It became clearer once I split it into several smaller annotations:
For parameter annotations, think of @ModelAttribute
as the equivalent of @Autowired + @Qualifier
i.e. it tries to retrieve a bean with the given name from the Spring managed model. If the named bean is not found, instead of throwing an error or returning null
, it implicitly takes on the role of @Bean
i.e. Create a new instance using the default constructor and add the bean to the model.
For method annotations, think of @ModelAttribute
as the equivalent of @Bean + @Before
, i.e. it puts the bean constructed by user's code in the model and it's always called before a request handling method.

Ex, you press a button, changes are made to the text, thread dies, and then .Update()

In this case, you make a change, pause the thread, and then change the text again, and when the thread finally dies the .Update()
is fired. This resulting in you only seeing the last change made to the text.
You would experience the same issue if you had a long execution between the text changes.

tl;dr - I'm not sure that it would be possible for the .NET Core developers to supply a cross-platform GUI framework.
I feel like expecting a cross-platform GUI framework to be bundled into the official tooling (especially an old version of the tooling - you mention that you're running Visual Studio 2015 update 3) for an early version of .NET Core is a little premature.
GUI frameworks are really quite heavy, and dependent on the hardware abstractions already present on the host machine. On Windows, there is generally a single window manager (WM) and desktop environment (DE) used by most users, but on the many different distributions of Linux which are supported, there are any number of possible WMs and DEs - granted most users will either be using X-Server or Wayland in combination with KDE, GNOME or Xfce. But no Linux installation ever is the same.
The fact that the open source community can't really settle on a "standard" setup for a VM and DE means that it would be pretty difficult for the .NET Core developers to create a GUI framework which would work across all platforms and combinations of DEs and WMs.
A lot of folks here have some great suggestions (from use ASP.NET Core to builds a Web application and use a browser to listing a bunch of cross-platform frameworks). If you take a look at some of the mentioned cross platform GUI frameworks listed, you'll see how heavy they are.
However, there is light at the end of the tunnel as Miguel de Icaza showed off Xamarin running naively on Linux and macOS at .NET Conf this year (2017, if you're reading this in the future), so it might be worth trying that when it's ready.
(But you'll need to upgrade from Visual Studio 2015 to Visual Studio 2017 to access the .NET Core 2.0 features.)

So, this is an awfully old question which already has an accepted answer, but I believe that this answer would have been chosen had it been posted four years ago.
I solved this purely with CSS, and with NO EXTRA DOM ELEMENTS! This means that the two colors are purely that, just background colors of ONE ELEMENT, not the background color of two.
I used a gradient and, because I set the color stops so closely together, it looks as if the colors are distinct and that they do not blend.
Here is the gradient in native syntax:

For me, this problem is caused by opening the cloned project with "open an existing project" instead of "import".
The file "setting.gradle" already exists in the downloaded project. However, it doesn't get picked up by Android Studio using "open an existing project" option, only "import" will impose Android Studio to interpret the whole project settings.

You could express it as rules that would be resolved by a rules engine, but you could express the same rules as a fairly simple table of values.
So, workflow engines are good when you're expressing a longer-term process that will have persistent data. Rules engines can do a similar thing, but you have to do a lot of added complexity.

Yes, this is something that you should worry about. Check the length of your objects with nrow(). R can auto-replicate objects so that they're the same length if they differ, which means you might be performing operations on mismatched data.
In this case you have an obvious flaw in that your subtracting aggregated data from raw data. These will definitely be of different lengths. I suggest that you merge them as time series (using the dates), then locf(), then do your subtraction. Otherwise merge them by truncating the original dates to the same interval as the aggregated series. Just be very careful that you don't drop observations.
Lastly, as some general advice as you get started: look at the result of your computations to see if they make sense. You might even pull them into a spreadsheet and replicate the results.

I think this is only partially true. Changing the format seems to switch the date to a string object which then has no methods like AddDays to manipulate it. So to make this work, you have to switch it back to a date. For example:

There are also situations where you can favor JSP over JSF. The application nature should be the deciding factor to choose the technology.
If you have a rich GUI interaction and lot of Java scripting needed then favor JSF. Basically if your GUI app architecture is like Component oriented & even driven like Swing then JSF is the best.
If the application is just a plain form submitting, not much of GUI interaction needed, then JSP could do well if learning a new tech is an overhead and also complex framework is unnecessary.
Actually a more refined solution is use the build-in function sumif, this function does exactly what you need, will only sum those expenses of a specified month.

The case class construct in Scala can also be seen as a convenience to remove some boilerplate.
When constructing a case class Scala gives you the following.

If you wish to create a pdf from php, pdflib will help you (as some others suggested).
Else, if you want to convert an HTML page to PDF via PHP, you'll find a little trouble outta here.. For 3 years I've been trying to do it as best as I can.
So, the options I know are:
DOMPDF : php class that wraps the html and builds the pdf. Works good, customizable (if you know php), based on pdflib, if I remember right it takes even some CSS. Bad news: slow when the html is big or complex.
HTML2PS: same as DOMPDF, but this one converts first to a .ps (ghostscript) file, then, to whatever format you need (pdf, jpg, png). For me is little better than dompdf, but has the same speed problem.. but, better compatibility with CSS.
Those two are php classes, but if you can install some software on the server, and access it throught passthru() or system(), give a look to these too:
wkhtmltopdf: based on webkit (safari's wrapper), is really fast and powerful.. seems like this is the best one (atm) for converting html pages to pdf on the fly; taking only 2 seconds for a 3 page xHTML document with CSS2. It is a recent project, anyway, the google.code page is often updated.
htmldoc : This one is a tank, it never really stops/crashes.. the project looks dead since 2007, but anyway if you don't need CSS compatibility this can be nice for you.
In my case the issue was due to how I build my Nav bar. I was doing it through a jQuery plugin so I can quickly build Bootstrap components through javascript.
To cut a long story short binding the data elements of the button through jQuery .data() resulted in a collapse button that didn't work, doing it via .attr() fixed the issue.

I can only assume that this is related to the way jQuery binds .data(), it doesn't write the attributes out to the elements, but just attaches them to the jQuery object. Using the .data() version resulted in HTML:

I have the same problem bu no solution yet. page-break-inside does not work on browsers but Opera. An alternative might be to use page-break-after: avoid; on all child elements of the div to keep togehter ... but in my tests, the avoid-Attribute does not work eg. in Firefox ...
What works in all ppular browsers are forced page breaks using eg. page-break-after: always
In my case it was a package that was installed as a dependency in package.json
with a relative path like this:

See if your script is running GPU in Task manager. If not, suspect your CUDA version is right one for the tensorflow version you are using, as the other answers suggested already.
Additionally, a proper CUDA DNN library for the CUDA version is required to run GPU with tensorflow. Download/extract it from here and put the DLL (e.g., cudnn64_7.dll) into CUDA bin folder (e.g., C:\Program Files\NVIDIA GPU Computing Toolkit\CUDA\v10.1\bin).
