Here is how I do it in Python with Selenium 2.48.0:
from selenium.webdriver import Firefox
driver = Firefox()
driver.set_window_position(0, 0)
driver.set_window_size(1024, 768)
Default Rpi resolution is : 1366x768 if i'm not mistaken.
You can change it though.
You will find all the information about it in this link.
Search "hdmi mode" on that page.
Hope it helps.
In VirtualBox you should add custom resolution via the command:
VBoxManage setextradata "VM name" "CustomVideoMode1" "800x480x16"
instead of editing a .vbox
file.
This solution works fine for me!

in Winforms, there is a Screen class you can use to get data about screen dimensions and color depth for all displays connected to the computer. Here's the docs page: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.windows.forms.screen.aspx
CHANGING the screen resolution is trickier. There is a Resolution third party class that wraps the native code you'd otherwise hook into. Use its CResolution nested class to set the screen resolution to a new height and width; but understand that doing this will only work for height/width combinations the display actually supports (800x600, 1024x768, etc, not 817x435).
just for future reference:
function getscreenresolution()
{
window.alert("Your screen resolution is: " + screen.height + 'x' + screen.width);
}
Use combinations of these to get the desired result:
Set Anchor
property to None, the controls will not be resized, they only shift their position.
Set Anchor
property to Top+Bottom+Left+Right, the controls will be resized but they don't change their position.
Set the Minimum Size
of the form to a proper value.
Set Dock
property.
Use Form Resize
event to change whatever you want
I don't know how font size (label, textbox, combobox, etc.) will be affected in (1) - (4), but it can be controlled in (5).
I recommend that you get in the habit, right now, of using ANSI-style joins, meaning you should use the INNER JOIN
, LEFT OUTER JOIN
, RIGHT OUTER JOIN
, FULL OUTER JOIN
, and CROSS JOIN
elements in your SQL statements rather than using the "old-style" joins where all the tables are named together in the FROM
clause and all the join conditions are put in the the WHERE
clause. ANSI-style joins are easier to understand and less likely to be miswritten and/or misinterpreted than "old-style" joins.
I'd rewrite your query as:
SELECT bc.firstname,
bc.lastname,
b.title,
TO_CHAR(bo.orderdate, 'MM/DD/YYYY') "Order Date",
p.publishername
FROM BOOK_CUSTOMER bc
INNER JOIN books b
ON b.BOOK_ID = bc.BOOK_ID
INNER JOIN book_order bo
ON bo.BOOK_ID = b.BOOK_ID
INNER JOIN publisher p
ON p.PUBLISHER_ID = b.PUBLISHER_ID
WHERE p.publishername = 'PRINTING IS US';
Share and enjoy.
FOR A ONE LINER SOLUTION, type the following in Command prompt or Terminal at project root.
echo node_modules > .dockerignore
This creates the extension-less . prefixed file without any issue. Replace node_modules with the folder you want to exclude.
A better answer is that ++i
will sometimes be faster but never slower.
Everyone seems to be assuming that i
is a regular built-in type such as int
. In this case there will be no measurable difference.
However if i
is complex type then you may well find a measurable difference. For i++
you must make a copy of your class before incrementing it. Depending on what's involved in a copy it could indeed be slower since with ++it
you can just return the final value.
Foo Foo::operator++()
{
Foo oldFoo = *this; // copy existing value - could be slow
// yadda yadda, do increment
return oldFoo;
}
Another difference is that with ++i
you have the option of returning a reference instead of a value. Again, depending on what's involved in making a copy of your object this could be slower.
A real-world example of where this can occur would be the use of iterators. Copying an iterator is unlikely to be a bottle-neck in your application, but it's still good practice to get into the habit of using ++i
instead of i++
where the outcome is not affected.

The **
syntax tells Python to collect keyword arguments into a dictionary. The save2
is passing it down as a non-keyword argument (a dictionary object). The openX
is not seeing any keyword arguments so the **args
doesn't get used. It's instead getting a third non-keyword argument (the dictionary). To fix that change the definition of the openX
function.
def openX(filename, mode, kwargs):
pass
To cast a double to an int and have it be rounded to the nearest integer (i.e. unlike the typical (int)(1.8)
and (int)(1.2)
, which will both "round down" towards 0 and return 1
), simply add 0.5 to the double
that you will typecast to an int
.
For example, if we have
double a = 1.2;
double b = 1.8;
Then the following typecasting expressions for x and y and will return the rounded-down values (x = 1
and y = 1
):
int x = (int)(a); // This equals (int)(1.2) --> 1
int y = (int)(b); // This equals (int)(1.8) --> 1
But by adding 0.5 to each, we will obtain the rounded-to-closest-integer result that we may desire in some cases (x = 1
and y = 2
):
int x = (int)(a + 0.5); // This equals (int)(1.8) --> 1
int y = (int)(b + 0.5); // This equals (int)(2.3) --> 2
As a small note, this method also allows you to control the threshold at which the double
is rounded up or down upon (int)
typecasting.
(int)(a + 0.8);
to typecast. This will only round up to (int)a + 1
whenever the decimal values are greater than or equal to 0.2. That is, by adding 0.8 to the double
immediately before typecasting, 10.15 and 10.03 will be rounded down to 10 upon (int)
typecasting, but 10.23 and 10.7 will be rounded up to 11.
In Angular 7, the following simple example would work (assuming dictionary is in a variable called d
):
my.component.ts:
keys: string[] = []; // declaration of class member 'keys'
// component code ...
this.keys = Object.keys(d);
my.component.html: (will display list of key:value pairs)
<ul *ngFor="let key of keys">
{{key}}: {{d[key]}}
</ul>

I think that both are functionally the same, but they simply have different authors, and the one is simply named more appropriately than the other.
Here is a quick backgrounder in naming conventions (for those unfamiliar), which explains the frustration by the question asker: For many *nix applications, the piece that does the backend work is called a "daemon" (think "service" in Windows-land), while the interface or client application is what you use to control or access the daemon. The daemon is most often named the same as the client, with the letter "d" appended to it. For example "imap" would be a client that connects to the "imapd" daemon.
This naming convention is clearly being adhered to by memcache when you read the introduction to the memcache module (notice the distinction between memcache and memcached in this excerpt):
Memcache module provides handy procedural and object oriented interface to memcached, highly effective caching daemon, which was especially designed to decrease database load in dynamic web applications.
The Memcache module also provides a session handler (memcache).
More information about memcached can be found at » http://www.danga.com/memcached/.
The frustration here is caused by the author of the PHP extension which was badly named memcached, since it shares the same name as the actual daemon called memcached. Notice also that in the introduction to memcached (the php module), it makes mention of libmemcached, which is the shared library (or API) that is used by the module to access the memcached daemon:
memcached is a high-performance, distributed memory object caching system, generic in nature, but intended for use in speeding up dynamic web applications by alleviating database load.
This extension uses libmemcached library to provide API for communicating with memcached servers. It also provides a session handler (memcached).
Information about libmemcached can be found at » http://tangent.org/552/libmemcached.html.

In my case, I am using a tiny .exe that reloads the referenced DLLs via Reflection. So I just do these steps which saves my day:
From project properties on solution explorer, at build tab, I choose target platfrom x86
$('#dropdownid').empty();
That will remove all <option>
elements underneath the dropdown element.
If you want to unselect selected items, go with the code from Russ.
If you are debugging or similar - In chrome developer tools, you can simply use
$x('/html/.//div[@id="text"]')
I'm doing it this way:
function f(data,d){
console.log(d);
console.log(data);
}
$.ajax({
url:u,
success:function(data){ f(data,d); }
});
No, there isn't a decent solution for body type, unless you're willing to cater only to those with bleeding-edge browsers.
Microsoft has WEFT, their own proprietary font-embedding technology, but I haven't heard it talked about in years, and I know no one who uses it.
I get by with sIFR for display type (headlines, titles of blog posts, etc.) and using one of the less-worn-out web-safe fonts for body type (like Trebuchet MS). If you're bored with all the web-safe fonts, you're probably defining the term too narrowly — look at this matrix of stock fonts that ship with major OSes and chances are you'll be able to find a font cascade that will catch nearly all web users.
For instance: font-family: "Lucida Grande", "Verdana", sans-serif
is a common font cascade; OS X comes with Lucida Grande, but those with Windows will get Verdana, a web-safe font with letters of similar size and shape to Lucida Grande. Linux users will also get Verdana if they've installed the web-safe fonts package that exists in most distros' package managers, or else they'll fall back to an ordinary sans-serif.
Another option I like, which can be generalized once I start seeing the code not conform to DRY, is to use one controller that redirects to another controller.
public ActionResult ClientIdSearch(int cid)
{
var action = String.Format("Details/{0}", cid);
return RedirectToAction(action, "Accounts");
}
I find this allows me to apply my logic in one location and re-use it without have to sprinkle JavaScript in the views to handle this. And, as I mentioned I can then refactor for re-use as I see this getting abused.
Check out SQLCMD command line tool that comes with SQL Server. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms162773.aspx
$(document).keydown(function(e) {
console.log(e.keyCode);
});
Keypress events do detect arrow keys, but not in all browsers. So it's better to use keydown.
These are keycodes you should be getting in your console log:
I don't see the entry on his blog (link pls?) but according to the gnu reference manual:
Enclosing characters in single quotes (‘'’) preserves the literal value of each character within the quotes. A single quote may not occur between single quotes, even when preceded by a backslash.
so bash won't understand:
alias x='y \'z '
however, you can do this if you surround with double quotes:
alias x="echo \'y "
> x
> 'y

You can also try this one and for large tables query performance will be better. It works when there no more than two records for each home and their dates are different. Better general MySQL query is one from Michael La Voie above.
SELECT t1.id, t1.home, t1.date, t1.player, t1.resource
FROM t_scores_1 t1
INNER JOIN t_scores_1 t2
ON t1.home = t2.home
WHERE t1.date > t2.date
Or in case of Postgres or those dbs that provide analytic functions try
SELECT t.* FROM
(SELECT t1.id, t1.home, t1.date, t1.player, t1.resource
, row_number() over (partition by t1.home order by t1.date desc) rw
FROM topten t1
INNER JOIN topten t2
ON t1.home = t2.home
WHERE t1.date > t2.date
) t
WHERE t.rw = 1
There are two separate concepts here:
Local variables (pedantically, variables with block scope) are only accessible within the block of code in which they are declared:
void f() {
int i;
i = 1; // OK: in scope
}
void g() {
i = 2; // Error: not in scope
}
Global variables (pedantically, variables with file scope (in C) or namespace scope (in C++)) are accessible at any point after their declaration:
int i;
void f() {
i = 1; // OK: in scope
}
void g() {
i = 2; // OK: still in scope
}
(In C++, the situation is more complicated since namespaces can be closed and reopened, and scopes other than the current one can be accessed, and names can also have class scope. But that's getting very off-topic.)
Automatic variables (pedantically, variables with automatic storage duration) are local variables whose lifetime ends when execution leaves their scope, and are recreated when the scope is reentered.
for (int i = 0; i < 5; ++i) {
int n = 0;
printf("%d ", ++n); // prints 1 1 1 1 1 - the previous value is lost
}
Static variables (pedantically, variables with static storage duration) have a lifetime that lasts until the end of the program. If they are local variables, then their value persists when execution leaves their scope.
for (int i = 0; i < 5; ++i) {
static int n = 0;
printf("%d ", ++n); // prints 1 2 3 4 5 - the value persists
}
Note that the static
keyword has various meanings apart from static storage duration. On a global variable or function, it gives it internal linkage so that it's not accessible from other translation units; on a C++ class member, it means there's one instance per class rather than one per object. Also, in C++ the auto
keyword no longer means automatic storage duration; it now means automatic type, deduced from the variable's initialiser.
Here is yet another (working) variant:
This opens a new gnome terminal, then in the new terminal it runs bash. The user's rc file is read first, then a command ls -la
is sent for execution to the new shell before it turns interactive.
The last echo adds an extra newline that is needed to finish execution.
gnome-terminal -- bash -c 'bash --rcfile <( cat ~/.bashrc; echo ls -la ; echo)'
I also find it useful sometimes to decorate the terminal, e.g. with colorfor better orientation.
gnome-terminal --profile green -- bash -c 'bash --rcfile <( cat ~/.bashrc; echo ls -la ; echo)'
Create file if not exist. If file exits, clear its content:
/**
* Create file if not exist.
*
* @param path For example: "D:\foo.xml"
*/
public static void createFile(String path) {
try {
File file = new File(path);
if (!file.exists()) {
file.createNewFile();
} else {
FileOutputStream writer = new FileOutputStream(path);
writer.write(("").getBytes());
writer.close();
}
} catch (IOException e) {
e.printStackTrace();
}
}
string.replace(/^\s+|\s+$/g, "");
Here is a part of the response that tells you if an element is in the viewport. You may need to check if there is nothing on top of it using elementFromPoint, but it's a bit longer.
function isInViewport(element) {
var rect = element.getBoundingClientRect();
var windowHeight = window.innerHeight || document.documentElement.clientHeight;
var windowWidth = window.innerWidth || document.documentElement.clientWidth;
return rect.bottom > 0 && rect.top < windowHeight && rect.right > 0 && rect.left < windowWidth;
}
The flag Xmx
specifies the maximum memory allocation pool for a Java Virtual Machine (JVM), while Xms
specifies the initial memory allocation pool.
This means that your JVM will be started with Xms
amount of memory and will be able to use a maximum of Xmx
amount of memory. For example, starting a JVM like below will start it with 256 MB of memory and will allow the process to use up to 2048 MB of memory:
java -Xms256m -Xmx2048m
The memory flag can also be specified in different sizes, such as kilobytes, megabytes, and so on.
-Xmx1024k
-Xmx512m
-Xmx8g
The Xms
flag has no default value, and Xmx
typically has a default value of 256 MB. A common use for these flags is when you encounter a java.lang.OutOfMemoryError
.
When using these settings, keep in mind that these settings are for the JVM's heap, and that the JVM can and will use more memory than just the size allocated to the heap. From Oracle's documentation:
Note that the JVM uses more memory than just the heap. For example Java methods, thread stacks and native handles are allocated in memory separate from the heap, as well as JVM internal data structures.
Replace -Xmx2G
with -Xms512M
or any greater memory size in cassandra.bat file in cassandra bin directory.
&

The easiest way to do this is writing a copy constructor in the MyClass class.
Something like this:
namespace Example
{
class MyClass
{
public int val;
public MyClass()
{
}
public MyClass(MyClass other)
{
val = other.val;
}
}
}
The second constructor simply accepts a parameter of his own type (the one you want to copy) and creates a new object assigned with the same value
class Program
{
static void Main(string[] args)
{
MyClass objectA = new MyClass();
MyClass objectB = new MyClass(objectA);
objectA.val = 10;
objectB.val = 20;
Console.WriteLine("objectA.val = {0}", objectA.val);
Console.WriteLine("objectB.val = {0}", objectB.val);
Console.ReadKey();
}
}
output:
objectA.val = 10
objectB.val = 20
If you cannot put them into one container, then you have to write code to change checked state of each RadioButton:
private void rbDataSourceFile_CheckedChanged(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
rbDataSourceNet.Checked = !rbDataSourceFile.Checked;
}
private void rbDataSourceNet_CheckedChanged(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
rbDataSourceFile.Checked = !rbDataSourceNet.Checked;
}
open your folder which content your project with Windows Explore. right click that folder and add rights for IUSER user.
If you are using Node.js then you can use this code to convert Uint8Array to base64
var b64 = Buffer.from(u8).toString('base64');
There's another solution for the case that you are working with big data and need to concatenate multiple datasets. concat
can get performance-intensive, so if you don't want to create a new df each time, you can instead use a list comprehension:
frames = [ process_file(f) for f in dataset_files ]
result = pd.append(frames)
(as pointed out here in the docs at the bottom of the section):
Note: It is worth noting however, that
concat
(and thereforeappend
) makes a full copy of the data, and that constantly reusing this function can create a significant performance hit. If you need to use the operation over several datasets, use a list comprehension.
Writing this middleware might help !
app.use(function(req, res, next) {
res.header("Access-Control-Allow-Origin", "*");
res.header("Access-Control-Allow-Headers", "Origin, X-Requested-With, Content-Type, Accept");
next();
});

subset()
is also useful:
subset(DATAFRAME, COLUMNNAME == "")
For a survey package, maybe the survey

Another case is http redirection. If your page redirects http requests to https, then may be your partial view tries to redirect by itself.
It causes same problem again. For this problem, you can reorganize your .net error pages or iis error pages configuration.
Just make sure you are redirecting requests to right error or not found page and make sure this error page contains non problematic partial. If your page supports only https, do not forward requests to error page without using https, if error page contains partial, this partials tries to redirect seperately from requested url, it causes problem.
I know I am very late.. (almost nine years), but if someone wants small explanation then you can go for this:
In simple words, you use Interface when you know what an Object can do or what function we are going to implement on an object.. Example Insert,Update, and Delete.
interface ICRUD{
void InsertData(); // will insert data
void UpdateData(); // will update data
void DeleteData(); // will delete data
}
Important Note: Interfaces are ALWAYS public.
Hope this helps.
You can compile any java source using javac in command line ; eg, javac CopyFile.java. To run : java CopyFile. You can also compile all java files using javac *.java as long as they're in the same directory

php_value session.cookie_lifetime 1800
php_value session.gc_maxlifetime 1800
</IfModule>

After trying the above solution of reducing the memory, Eclipse starts working but hangs every time while loading the plugins from the work-space specially at org.eclipse.debug.core
.
I found the solution here, Eclipse hangs at Splash Screen, and want share it. Hopefully it can help others as well.
Consider this:
jQuery(function(){
var close_link = $('<a class="" href="#">Click here to see an alert</a>');
$('.add_to_this').append(close_link);
$('.add_to_this').children().each(function()
{
$(this).click(function() {
alert('hello from binded function call');
//do stuff here...
});
});
});
It will work because you attach it to every specific element. This is why you need - after adding your link to the DOM - to find a way to explicitly select your added element as a JQuery element in the DOM and bind the click event to it.
The best way will probably be - as suggested - to bind it to a specific class via the live method.
This description is very vague. What did you try, and how did it fail.
To include a library with your project, you have to include it in the modules passed to the linker. The exact steps to do this depend on the tools you are using. That part has nothing to do with the OS.
Now, if you are successfully compiling the library into your app and it doesn't run, that COULD be related to the OS.
Angular 4 empty data if else

You can further modify the hput()/hget() interface so that you have named hashes as follows:
hput() {
eval "$1""$2"='$3'
}
hget() {
eval echo '${'"$1$2"'#hash}'
}
and then
hput capitals France Paris
hput capitals Netherlands Amsterdam
hput capitals Spain Madrid
echo `hget capitals France` and `hget capitals Netherlands` and `hget capitals Spain`
This lets you define other maps that don't conflict (e.g., 'rcapitals' which does country lookup by capital city). But, either way, I think you'll find that this is all pretty terrible, performance-wise.
If you really want fast hash lookup, there's a terrible, terrible hack that actually works really well. It is this: write your key/values out to a temporary file, one-per line, then use 'grep "^$key"' to get them out, using pipes with cut or awk or sed or whatever to retrieve the values.
Like I said, it sounds terrible, and it sounds like it ought to be slow and do all sorts of unnecessary IO, but in practice it is very fast (disk cache is awesome, ain't it?), even for very large hash tables. You have to enforce key uniqueness yourself, etc. Even if you only have a few hundred entries, the output file/grep combo is going to be quite a bit faster - in my experience several times faster. It also eats less memory.
Here's one way to do it:
hinit() {
rm -f /tmp/hashmap.$1
}
hput() {
echo "$2 $3" >> /tmp/hashmap.$1
}
hget() {
grep "^$2 " /tmp/hashmap.$1 | awk '{ print $2 };'
}
hinit capitals
hput capitals France Paris
hput capitals Netherlands Amsterdam
hput capitals Spain Madrid
echo `hget capitals France` and `hget capitals Netherlands` and `hget capitals Spain`
You actually can't do what you want with Bash aliases, since aliases are static. Instead, use the function you have created.
Look here for more information: http://www.mactips.org/archives/2008/01/01/increase-productivity-with-bash-aliases-and-functions/. (Yes I know it's mactips.org, but it's about Bash, so don't worry.)

If your apache tomcat asking for password,then just follow these steps: go to the home directory of apache then go to webapps folder open the META-INF inside that you will find an xml file named context.xml--open it in edit mode
and REMOVE THE COMMENT FROM the VALVE tag.
After that you dont need any user name and password.
Always use double quotes when using a variable inside a string and backslash any other double quotes except the starting and ending ones. You could also use the brackets like below so it's easier to find your variables inside the strings and make them look cleaner.
$var = 'my variable';
echo "I love ${var}";
or
$var = 'my variable';
echo "I love {$var}";
Above would return the following: I love my variable
Try this:
window.location.href = "http://www.gorissen.info/Pierre/maps/googleMapLocation.php?lat="+elemA+"&lon="+elemB+"&setLatLon=Set";
To put a variable in a string enclose the variable in quotes and addition signs like this:
var myname = "BOB";
var mystring = "Hi there "+myname+"!";
Just remember that one rule!
Unfortunately, there is not a direct way to do this with a single formula. However, there is a fairly simple workaround that exists.
On the Excel Ribbon, go to "Formulas" and click on "Name Manager". Select "New" and then enter "CellColor" as the "Name". Jump down to the "Refers to" part and enter the following:
=GET.CELL(63,OFFSET(INDIRECT("RC",FALSE),1,1))
Hit OK then close the "Name Manager" window.
Now, in cell A1 enter the following:
=IF(CellColor=3,"FQS",IF(CellColor=6,"SM",""))
This will return FQS for red and SM for yellow. For any other color the cell will remain blank.
***If the value in A1 doesn't update, hit 'F9' on your keyboard to force Excel to update the calculations at any point (or if the color in B2 ever changes).
Below is a reference for a list of cell fill colors (there are 56 available) if you ever want to expand things: http://www.smixe.com/excel-color-pallette.html
Cheers.
::Edit::
The formula used in Name Manager can be further simplified if it helps your understanding of how it works (the version that I included above is a lot more flexible and is easier to use in checking multiple cell references when copied around as it uses its own cell address as a reference point instead of specifically targeting cell B2).
Either way, if you'd like to simplify things, you can use this formula in Name Manager instead:
=GET.CELL(63,Sheet1!B2)
If you execute your Spring Boot application as a linux service (e.g. init.d script or similar), then you have the following option as well: Create a file called yourApplication.conf and put it next to your executable war/jar file. It's content should be something similar:
JAVA_OPTS="
-Djavax.net.ssl.trustStore=path-to-your-trustStore-file
-Djavax.net.ssl.trustStorePassword=yourCrazyPassword
"
ToggleButton
inherits from TextView
so you can set drawables to be displayed at the 4 borders of the text. You can use that to display the icon you want on top of the text and hide the actual text
<ToggleButton
android:id="@+id/toggleButton1"
android:layout_width="wrap_content"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"
android:drawableTop="@android:drawable/ic_menu_info_details"
android:gravity="center"
android:textOff=""
android:textOn=""
android:textSize="0dp" />
The result compared to regular ToggleButton
looks like
The seconds option is to use an ImageSpan
to actually replace the text with an image. Looks slightly better since the icon is at the correct position but can't be done with layout xml directly.
You create a plain ToggleButton
<ToggleButton
android:id="@+id/toggleButton3"
android:layout_width="wrap_content"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"
android:checked="false" />
Then set the "text" programmatially
ToggleButton button = (ToggleButton) findViewById(R.id.toggleButton3);
ImageSpan imageSpan = new ImageSpan(this, android.R.drawable.ic_menu_info_details);
SpannableString content = new SpannableString("X");
content.setSpan(imageSpan, 0, 1, Spanned.SPAN_EXCLUSIVE_EXCLUSIVE);
button.setText(content);
button.setTextOn(content);
button.setTextOff(content);
The result here in the middle - icon is placed slightly lower since it takes the place of the text.
It's probably like that because of efficiency and because if you have multiple programs writing to a single TTY, this way you don't get characters on a line interlaced. So if program A and B are outputting, you'll usually get:
program A output
program B output
program B output
program A output
program B output
This stinks, but it's better than
proprogrgraam m AB ououtputputt
prproogrgram amB A ououtputtput
program B output
Note that it isn't even guaranteed to flush on a newline, so you should flush explicitly if flushing matters to you.

NOTE This is a modified version of @elreimundo
Added another case to Michal Górny's answer:
Note that relative imports are based on the name of the current module. Since the name of the main module is always "__main__
", modules intended for use as the main module of a Python application must always use absolute imports.
Go to Tools > Options. In the tree on the left, select SQL Server Object Explorer. Set the option "Value for Edit Top Rows command" to 0. It'll now allow you to view and edit the entire table from the context menu.
To improve the performance, you could use the Task Parallel Library (TPL). Here is a good sample: Directory file size calculation - how to make it faster?
I didn't test it, but the author says it is 3 times faster than a non-multithreaded method...
Install gcc multiple library.
sudo apt-get install gcc-multilib
You should use <label for="">
for the checkboxes or radios, and to align checkboxes vertical-align
is enough
Try changing your markup to this
<li>
<input id="checkid" type="checkbox" value="test" />
<label for="checkid">testdata</label>
</li>
<li>
<input id="checkid2" type="checkbox" value="test" />
<label for="checkid2">testdata 2</label>

And set CSS like
input[type="checkbox"]
{
vertical-align:middle;
}
In case of long text
label,input{
display: inline-block;
vertical-align: middle;
}
Side note: In label, value of for must be the id of checkbox.
Perhaps the error message is somewhat misleading, but the gist is that X_train
is a list, not a numpy array. You cannot use array indexing on it. Make it an array first:
out_images = np.array(X_train)[indices.astype(int)]
You shouldn't design your application based on specific lifetimes of access tokens. Just assume they are (very) short lived.
However, after a successful completion of the OAuth2 installed application flow, you will get back a refresh token. This refresh token never expires, and you can use it to exchange it for an access token as needed. Save the refresh tokens, and use them to get access tokens on-demand (which should then immediately be used to get access to user data).
EDIT: My comments above notwithstanding, there are two easy ways to get the access token expiration time:
expires_in
)when you exchange your refresh token (using /o/oauth2/token endpoint). More details.There is also an API that returns the remaining lifetime of the access_token:
https://www.googleapis.com/oauth2/v1/tokeninfo?access_token={accessToken}
This will return a json array that will contain an expires_in
parameter, which is the number of seconds left in the lifetime of the token.
Use:
$( '#form' ).serializeArray();
Php get array, dont need unserialize ;)
char *p = "String"; means pointer to a string type variable.
char p3[5] = "String"
; means you are pre-defining the size of the array to consist of no more than 5 elements. Note that,for strings the null "\0" is also considered as an element.So,this statement would give an error since the number of elements is 7 so it should be:
char p3[7]= "String";
Using the "Developer Command Prompt for Visual Studio 20XX" instead of "cmd" will set the path for msbuild automatically without having to add it to your environment variables.
For Ubuntu instances:
chmod 600 ec2-keypair.pem
ssh -v -i ec2-keypair.pem [email protected]
For other instances, you might have to use ec2-user
instead of ubuntu
.
Most EC2 Linux images I've used only have the root user created by default.

ng-init
is a directive that can be placed inside div
's, span
's, whatever, whereas onload
is an attribute specific to the ng-include
directive that functions as an ng-init
. To see what I mean try something like:
<span onload="a = 1">{{ a }}</span>
<span ng-init="b = 2">{{ b }}</span>
You'll see that only the second one shows up.
An isolated scope is a scope which does not prototypically inherit from its parent scope. In laymen's terms if you have a widget that doesn't need to read and write to the parent scope arbitrarily then you use an isolate scope on the widget so that the widget and widget container can freely use their scopes without overriding each other's properties.
The following function will delete the input character one by one till the input field is empty using PromiseWhile
driver.clearKeys = function(element, value){
return element.getAttribute('value').then(function(val) {
if (val.length > 0) {
return new Promise(function(resolve, reject) {
var len;
len = val.length;
return promiseWhile(function() {
return 0 < len;
}, function() {
return new Promise(function(resolve, reject) {
len--;
return element.sendKeys(webdriver.Key.BACK_SPACE).then(function() {
return resolve(true);
});
});
}).then(function() {
return resolve(true);
});
});
}
You are getting this exception because your AWS SDK is unable to load your credentials. What you should do is goto Preferences then goto AWS and add your secret key and access key. So that your project can retrieve both keys.
As you comment in your question, awk
is really the way to go. To use cut
is possible together with tr -s
to squeeze spaces, as kev's answer shows.
Let me however go through all the possible combinations for future readers. Explanations are at the Test section.
tr -s ' ' < file | cut -d' ' -f4
awk '{print $4}' file
while read -r _ _ _ myfield _
do
echo "forth field: $myfield"
done < file
sed -r 's/^([^ ]*[ ]*){3}([^ ]*).*/\2/' file
Given this file, let's test the commands:
$ cat a
this is line 1 more text
this is line 2 more text
this is line 3 more text
this is line 4 more text
$ cut -d' ' -f4 a
is
# it does not show what we want!
$ tr -s ' ' < a | cut -d' ' -f4
1
2 # this makes it!
3
4
$
$ awk '{print $4}' a
1
2
3
4
This reads the fields sequentially. By using _
we indicate that this is a throwaway variable as a "junk variable" to ignore these fields. This way, we store $myfield
as the 4th field in the file, no matter the spaces in between them.
$ while read -r _ _ _ a _; do echo "4th field: $a"; done < a
4th field: 1
4th field: 2
4th field: 3
4th field: 4
This catches three groups of spaces and no spaces with ([^ ]*[ ]*){3}
. Then, it catches whatever coming until a space as the 4th field, that it is finally printed with \1
.
$ sed -r 's/^([^ ]*[ ]*){3}([^ ]*).*/\2/' a
1
2
3
4
update mytable set online_status = 'online'
If you want to assign different values, you should use the TRANSACTION technique.
I had issues getting event.stopPropagation()
working. If you do too, try moving it to the top of your click handler function, that was what I needed to do to stop the event from bubbling. Example function:
toggleFilter(e) {
e.stopPropagation(); // If moved to the end of the function, will not work
let target = e.target;
let i = 10; // Sanity breaker
while(true) {
if (--i === 0) { return; }
if (target.classList.contains("filter")) {
target.classList.toggle("active");
break;
}
target = target.parentNode;
}
}
c = a + b
str(c)
Actually, in this last line you are not changing the type of the variable c. If you do
c_str=str(c)
print "a + b as integers: " + c_str
it should work.
Hackbod's is one of the best answers on Stack Overflow. It throws light on a very obscure subject. It helped me a lot.
Another really helpful resource is this must-see video: Google I/O 2011: Memory management for Android Apps
UPDATE:
Process Stats, a service to discover how your app manages memory explained at the blog post Process Stats: Understanding How Your App Uses RAM by Dianne Hackborn:
There is also the approach of organizing the folders not by the structure of the framework, but by the structure of the application's function. There is a github starter Angular/Express application that illustrates this called angular-app.
I solved it like this:
const chunks = [];
const chunkSize = 10;
for (let i = 0; i < arrayToSplit.length; i += chunkSize) {
const tempArray = arrayToSplit.slice(i, i + chunkSize);
chunks.push(tempArray);
}
If you don't assume the 32-bit constraint, just return a randomly generated 64-bit number (or 128-bit if you're a pessimist). The chance of collision is 1 in 2^64/(4*10^9) = 4611686018.4
(roughly 1 in 4 billion). You'd be right most of the time!
(Joking... kind of.)
You have to disable or enable the individual elements. This is how I did it:
$(':input').keydown(function(e){
var allowTab = true;
var id = $(this).attr('name');
// insert your form fields here -- (:'') is required after
var inputArr = {username:'', email:'', password:'', address:''}
// allow or disable the fields in inputArr by changing true / false
if(id in inputArr) allowTab = false;
if(e.keyCode==9 && allowTab==false) e.preventDefault();
});
You can set up a developer application and set the url to localhost.com:port Make sure to map localhost.com to localhost on your hosts file
Works for me
Another possibility of making.
actionBar.setBackgroundDrawable(new ColorDrawable(Color.parseColor("#0000ff")));
I had the same problem. Here's what I figured out:
=BDP(A1&"@BGN Corp", "Issuer_parent_eqy_ticker")
A1 being the ISINs. This will return the ticker number. Then just use the ticker number to get the price.
You have to actually call some method to create the directories. Just creating a file
object will not create the corresponding file or directory on the file system.
You can use File#mkdirs()
method to create the directory: -
theFile.mkdirs();
Difference between File#mkdir()
and File#mkdirs()
is that, the later will create any intermediate directory if it does not exist.
Look here http://docs.oracle.com/javase/6/docs/api/java/awt/Font.html#deriveFont%28float%29
JComponent has a setFont() method. You will control the font there, not on the String.
Such as
JButton b = new JButton();
b.setFont(b.getFont().deriveFont(18.0f));
I assume you're talking about the Apache server that Oracle installs. Look for the file httpd.conf.
Open this file in a text editor and look for the line
Listen 8080
or
Listen {ip address}:8080
Change the port number and either restart the web server or just reboot the machine.
Simple solution is:
public String frontBack(String str) {
if (str == null || str.length() == 0) {
return str;
}
char[] cs = str.toCharArray();
char first = cs[0];
cs[0] = cs[cs.length -1];
cs[cs.length -1] = first;
return new String(cs);
}
Using a character array (watch out for the nasty empty String or null String argument!)
Another solution uses StringBuilder (which is usually used to do String manupilation since String itself is immutable.
public String frontBack(String str) {
if (str == null || str.length() == 0) {
return str;
}
StringBuilder sb = new StringBuilder(str);
char first = sb.charAt(0);
sb.setCharAt(0, sb.charAt(sb.length()-1));
sb.setCharAt(sb.length()-1, first);
return sb.toString();
}
Yet another approach (more for instruction than actual use) is this one:
public String frontBack(String str) {
if (str == null || str.length() < 2) {
return str;
}
StringBuilder sb = new StringBuilder(str);
String sub = sb.substring(1, sb.length() -1);
return sb.reverse().replace(1, sb.length() -1, sub).toString();
}
Here the complete string is reversed and then the part that should not be reversed is replaced with the substring. ;)
You can use the options when initializing the carousel, like this:
// interval is in milliseconds. 1000 = 1 second -> so 1000 * 10 = 10 seconds
$('.carousel').carousel({
interval: 1000 * 10
});
or you can use the interval
attribute directly on the HTML
tag, like this:
<div class="carousel" data-interval="10000">
The advantage of the latter approach is that you do not have to write any JS for it - while the advantage of the former is that you can compute the interval and initialize it with a variable value at run time.
Never. You can never be sure that the application is able to execute the next line of code. If you get an OutOfMemoryError
, you have no guarantee that you will be able to do anything reliably. Catch RuntimeException and checked Exceptions, but never Errors.
To solve Google security, do this:
Lines to the top:
import android.webkit.SslErrorHandler;
import android.net.http.SslError;
Code:
class SSLTolerentWebViewClient extends WebViewClient {
@Override
public void onReceivedSslError(WebView view, SslErrorHandler handler, SslError error) {
if (error.toString() == "piglet")
handler.cancel();
else
handler.proceed(); // Ignore SSL certificate errors
}
}
If your string contains special characters you can hash it to md5 and then convert it to a guid/uniqueidentifier.
SELECT CONVERT(UNIQUEIDENTIFIER, HASHBYTES('MD5','~öü߀a89b1acd95016ae6b9c8aabb07da2010'))

From your post I gather that you want to compare dates, not arrays. If this is the case, then use the appropriate object: a datetime
object.
Please check the documentation for the datetime module. Dates are a tough cookie. Use reliable algorithms.
I believe the WAVE module does not support recording, just processing existing files. You might want to look at PyAudio for actually recording. WAV is about the world's simplest file format. In paInt16 you just get a signed integer representing a level, and closer to 0 is quieter. I can't remember if WAV files are high byte first or low byte, but something like this ought to work (sorry, I'm not really a python programmer:
from array import array
# you'll probably want to experiment on threshold
# depends how noisy the signal
threshold = 10
max_value = 0
as_ints = array('h', data)
max_value = max(as_ints)
if max_value > threshold:
# not silence
PyAudio code for recording kept for reference:
import pyaudio
import sys
chunk = 1024
FORMAT = pyaudio.paInt16
CHANNELS = 1
RATE = 44100
RECORD_SECONDS = 5
p = pyaudio.PyAudio()
stream = p.open(format=FORMAT,
channels=CHANNELS,
rate=RATE,
input=True,
output=True,
frames_per_buffer=chunk)
print "* recording"
for i in range(0, 44100 / chunk * RECORD_SECONDS):
data = stream.read(chunk)
# check for silence here by comparing the level with 0 (or some threshold) for
# the contents of data.
# then write data or not to a file
print "* done"
stream.stop_stream()
stream.close()
p.terminate()

Here is a method To print over images: taken from here. Use a different layer for your text you're putting over the images, and also make sure to use the GetOverContent() method.
string oldFile = "FileWithImages.pdf";
string watermarkedFile = "Layers.pdf";
// Creating watermark on a separate layer
// Creating iTextSharp.text.pdf.PdfReader object to read the Existing PDF Document
PdfReader reader1 = new PdfReader(oldFile);
using (FileStream fs = new FileStream(watermarkedFile, FileMode.Create, FileAccess.Write, FileShare.None))
// Creating iTextSharp.text.pdf.PdfStamper object to write Data from iTextSharp.text.pdf.PdfReader object to FileStream object
using (PdfStamper stamper = new PdfStamper(reader1, fs))
{
// Getting total number of pages of the Existing Document
int pageCount = reader1.NumberOfPages;
// Create New Layer for Watermark
PdfLayer layer = new PdfLayer("Layer", stamper.Writer);
// Loop through each Page
for (int i = 1; i <= pageCount; i++)
{
// Getting the Page Size
Rectangle rect = reader1.GetPageSize(i);
// Get the ContentByte object
PdfContentByte cb = stamper.GetOverContent(i);
// Tell the cb that the next commands should be "bound" to this new layer
cb.BeginLayer(layer);
BaseFont bf = BaseFont.CreateFont(BaseFont.HELVETICA, BaseFont.CP1252, BaseFont.NOT_EMBEDDED);
cb.SetColorFill(BaseColor.RED);
cb.SetFontAndSize(bf, 100);
cb.BeginText();
cb.ShowTextAligned(PdfContentByte.ALIGN_CENTER, "Some random blablablabla...", rect.Width / 2, rect.Height / 2, - 90);
cb.EndText();
// Close the layer
cb.EndLayer();
}

$ rsync --version
rsync version 3.1.3 protocol version 31
...
Syntax: rsync <file_/_folder_list> <source> <target>
Folder names (here, WITH a trailing /
; e.g. Cancer - Evolution/
) are in a folder list file (e.g.: cm_folder_list_test):
# /mnt/Vancouver/projects/ie/claws/data/cm_folder_list_test
# test file: 2019-04-24
Cancer/
Cancer - Evolution/
Cancer - Genomic Variants/
Cancer - Metastasis (EMT Transition ...)/
Cancer Pathways, Networks/
Catabolism - Autophagy; Phagosomes; Mitophagy/
Catabolism - Lysosomes/
If you don't include those trailing /
, the rsync'd target folders are created, but are empty.
Those folder names are appended to the rest of their path (/home/victoria/Mail/2_RESEARCH - NEWS
), thus providing the complete folder path to rsync; e.g.: /home/victoria/Mail/2_RESEARCH - NEWS/Cancer - Evolution/
.
Note that you also need to use --files-from=
..., NOT --include-from=
...
rsync -aqP --delete --files-from=/mnt/Vancouver/projects/ie/claws/data/cm_folder_list_test "/home/victoria/Mail/2_RESEARCH - NEWS" $IN/
(In my BASH script, I defined variable $IN
as follows.)
BASEDIR="/mnt/Vancouver/projects/ie/claws"
IN=$BASEDIR/data/test/input
rsync options used:
-a : archive: equals -rlptgoD (no -H,-A,-X)
-r : recursive
-l : copy symlinks as symlinks
-p : preserve permissions
-t : preserve modification times
-g : preserve group
-o : preserve owner (super-user only)
-D : same as --devices --specials
-q : quiet (https://serverfault.com/questions/547106/run-totally-silent-rsync)
--delete
This tells rsync to delete extraneous files from the RECEIVING SIDE (ones
that AREN’T ON THE SENDING SIDE), but only for the directories that are
being synchronized. You must have asked rsync to send the whole directory
(e.g. "dir" or "dir/") without using a wildcard for the directory’s contents
(e.g. "dir/*") since the wildcard is expanded by the shell and rsync thus
gets a request to transfer individual files, not the files’ parent directory.
Files that are excluded from the transfer are also excluded from being
deleted unless you use the --delete-excluded option or mark the rules as
only matching on the sending side (see the include/exclude modifiers in the
FILTER RULES section). ...
Moved my comment into an answer per suggestion above:
You don't need extra packages, here's a one-liner:
d <- cbind(rownames(d), data.frame(d, row.names=NULL))
This was a nasty little problem, and I'd like to throw my solution in. Some other solutions I found (async.io for example) looked promising but also presented a bit of a black box. The queue / event loop approach sort of ties you to a certain implementation. The concurrent futures source code, however, is around only 1000 lines, and easy to comprehend. It allowed me to easily solve my problem: create ad-hoc worker threads without much setup, and to be able to catch exceptions in the main thread.
My solution uses the concurrent futures API and threading API. It allows you to create a worker which gives you both the thread and the future. That way, you can join the thread to wait for the result:
worker = Worker(test)
thread = worker.start()
thread.join()
print(worker.future.result())
...or you can let the worker just send a callback when done:
worker = Worker(test)
thread = worker.start(lambda x: print('callback', x))
...or you can loop until the event completes:
worker = Worker(test)
thread = worker.start()
while True:
print("waiting")
if worker.future.done():
exc = worker.future.exception()
print('exception?', exc)
result = worker.future.result()
print('result', result)
break
time.sleep(0.25)
Here's the code:
from concurrent.futures import Future
import threading
import time
class Worker(object):
def __init__(self, fn, args=()):
self.future = Future()
self._fn = fn
self._args = args
def start(self, cb=None):
self._cb = cb
self.future.set_running_or_notify_cancel()
thread = threading.Thread(target=self.run, args=())
thread.daemon = True #this will continue thread execution after the main thread runs out of code - you can still ctrl + c or kill the process
thread.start()
return thread
def run(self):
try:
self.future.set_result(self._fn(*self._args))
except BaseException as e:
self.future.set_exception(e)
if(self._cb):
self._cb(self.future.result())
...and the test function:
def test(*args):
print('args are', args)
time.sleep(2)
raise Exception('foo')
To those who simply want to get the content (request body) from the request:
Use the [FromBody]
attribute in your controller method parameter.
[Route("api/mytest")]
[ApiController]
public class MyTestController : Controller
{
[HttpPost]
[Route("content")]
public async Task<string> ReceiveContent([FromBody] string content)
{
// Do work with content
}
}
As doc says: this attribute specifies that a parameter or property should be bound using the request body.
I used a deque... seems to work for me. This example has a vector, but you could skip that aspect and simply add them to deque.
#include <deque>
template <typename T>
double mov_avg(vector<T> vec, int len){
deque<T> dq = {};
for(auto i = 0;i < vec.size();i++){
if(i < len){
dq.push_back(vec[i]);
}
else {
dq.pop_front();
dq.push_back(vec[i]);
}
}
double cs = 0;
for(auto i : dq){
cs += i;
}
return cs / len;
}
//Skip the vector portion, track the input number (or size of deque), and the value.
double len = 10;
double val; //Accept as input
double instance; //Increment each time input accepted.
deque<double> dq;
if(instance < len){
dq.push_back(val);
}
else {
dq.pop_front();
dq.push_back(val);
}
}
double cs = 0;
for(auto i : dq){
cs += i;
}
double rolling_avg = cs / len;
//To simplify further -- add values to this, then simply average the deque.
int MAX_DQ = 3;
void add_to_dq(deque<double> &dq, double value){
if(dq.size() < MAX_DQ){
dq.push_back(value);
}else {
dq.pop_front();
dq.push_back(value);
}
}
Another sort of hack I use occasionally is using mod to overwrite values in a vector.
vector<int> test_mod = {0,0,0,0,0};
int write = 0;
int LEN = 5;
int instance = 0; //Filler for N -- of Nth Number added.
int value = 0; //Filler for new number.
write = instance % LEN;
test_mod[write] = value;
//Will write to 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 0, 1, 2, 3, ...
//Then average it for MA.
//To test it...
int write_idx = 0;
int len = 5;
int new_value;
for(auto i=0;i<100;i++){
cin >> new_value;
write_idx = i % len;
test_mod[write_idx] = new_value;
This last (hack) has no buckets, buffers, loops, nothing. Simply a vector that's overwritten. And it's 100% accurate (for avg / values in vector). Proper order is rarely maintained, as it starts rewriting backwards (at 0), so 5th index would be at 0 in example {5,1,2,3,4}, etc.
Try the following.
$d = [datetime](Get-ItemProperty -Path $source -Name LastWriteTime).lastwritetime
This is part of the item property weirdness. When you run Get-ItemProperty it does not return the value but instead the property. You have to use one more level of indirection to get to the value.
In one controller, you can do:
$rootScope.$broadcast('eventName', data);
and listen to the event in another:
$scope.$on('eventName', function (event, data) {...});
There is this tool ChangeVersion [1]

I don't think you can do it with one rsync command, but you can 'pre-create' the extra directory first like this:
rsync --recursive emptydir/ destination/newdir
where 'emptydir' is a local empty directory (which you might have to create as a temporary directory first).
It's a bit of a hack, but it works for me.
cheers
Chris
If you have only 1 object like the one you asked, the following will work.
var x = [{'a':'b'}];
var b= JSON.stringify(x);
var c = b.substring(1,b.length-1);
JSON.parse(c);
Objective-C:
NSString to NSData:
NSString* str= @"string";
NSData* data=[str dataUsingEncoding:NSUTF8StringEncoding];
NSData to NSString:

Swift:
String to Data:
var testString = "string"
var somedata = testString.data(using: String.Encoding.utf8)
Data to String:
var backToString = String(data: somedata!, encoding: String.Encoding.utf8) as String!
I faced this issue when I was tring to link a locally created repo with a blank repo on github.
Initially I was trying git remote set-url
but I had to do git remote add
instead.
git remote add origin https://github.com/VijayNew/NewExample.git
I found this thread as a solution to my problem.
But when I tried them the performance was low. Bellow is my suggestion for better performance.
With MaxDates as (
SELECT customer_id,
MAX(date) MaxDate
FROM purchase
GROUP BY customer_id
)
SELECT c.*, M.*
FROM customer c INNER JOIN
MaxDates as M ON c.id = M.customer_id
Hope this will be helpful.
new Handler(Looper.getMainLooper()).post(() -> {

I had the same error.
I am using Jboss 7.1 AS. In the configuration file - standalone.xml edit the following tag. (stop your server and edit)
<root-logger>
<level name="ALL"/>
<handlers>
<handler name="CONSOLE"/>
<handler name="FILE"/>
</handlers>
</root-logger>
The ALL has the lowest possible rank and is intended to turn on all logging.
When I were trying install librosa
package with pip
(pip install librosa
), this error were appeared:
ERROR: Cannot uninstall 'llvmlite'. It is a distutils installed project and thus we cannot accurately determine which files belong to it which would lead to only a partial uninstall.
I tried to remove llvmlite
, but pip uninstall
could not remove it. So, I used capability of ignore
of pip
by this code:
pip install librosa --ignore-installed llvmlite
Indeed, you can use this rule for ignoring a package you don't want to consider:
pip install {package you want to install} --ignore-installed {installed package you don't want to consider}
ALTER TABLE `tableName` CHANGE `columnName` DECIMAL(16,1) NOT NULL;

All the answers explain how to elevate your command in a new console host.
What amused me was that none of those tools behave like *nix sudo
, allowing to execute the command inside the current console.
So, I wrote: gsudo

Or via Chocolatey

Manual instalation:
You could define your own extension method, but I wouldn't recommend that.
public static IEnumerable<TResult> SelectNonNull<T, TResult>(this IEnumerable<T> sequence,Func<T, TResult> projection)
{
return sequence.Select(projection).Where(e => e != null);
}
I don't like this one because it mixes two concerns. Projecting with Select
and filtering your null values are separate operations and should not be combined into one method.
I'd rather define an extension method that only checks if the item isn't null:
public static IEnumerable<T> WhereNotNull<T>(this IEnumerable<T> sequence)
{
return sequence.Where(e => e != null);
}
public static IEnumerable<T> WhereNotNull<T>(this IEnumerable<T?> sequence)
where T : struct
{
return sequence.Where(e => e != null).Select(e => e.Value);
}
This has only a single purpose, checking for null. For nullable value types it converts to the non nullable equivalent, since it's useless to preserve the nullable wrapper for values which cannot be null.
With this method, your code becomes:
list.Select(item => item.MyProperty).WhereNotNull()
Using FileStream + StreamWriter I know it's possible to create massive files in little time (less than 1 min 30 seconds). I generate three files totaling 700+ megabytes from one file using that technique.
Your primary problem with the code you're using is that you are opening a file every time. That is creating file I/O overhead.
If you knew the names of the files you would be generating ahead of time, you could extract the File.OpenWrite into a separate method; it will increase the speed. Without seeing the code that determines how you are splitting the files, I don't think you can get much faster.
This solution is Rails 2 only.
I just investigated this and I think I have a solution. There are two ActiveRecord private methods that you can use:
update_without_callbacks
create_without_callbacks
You're going to have to use send to call these methods. examples:
p = Person.new(:name => 'foo')
p.send(:create_without_callbacks)
p = Person.find(1)
p.send(:update_without_callbacks)
This is definitely something that you'll only really want to use in the console or while doing some random tests. Hope this helps!
keytool -printcert -file ANDROID_.RSA or keytool -list -printcert -jarfile app.apk
to obtain the hash md5keytool -list -v -keystore clave-release.jks
For anyone using entity framework core ending up here. This is how you do it.
# Powershell / Package manager console
Script-Migration
# Cli
dotnet ef migrations script
You can use the -From
and -To
parameter to generate an update script to update a database to a specific version.
Script-Migration -From 20190101011200_Initial-Migration -To 20190101021200_Migration-2
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/ef/core/managing-schemas/migrations/#generate-sql-scripts
There are several options to this command.
The from migration should be the last migration applied to the database before running the script. If no migrations have been applied, specify
0
(this is the default).The to migration is the last migration that will be applied to the database after running the script. This defaults to the last migration in your project.
An idempotent script can optionally be generated. This script only applies migrations if they haven't already been applied to the database. This is useful if you don't exactly know what the last migration applied to the database was or if you are deploying to multiple databases that may each be at a different migration.
No, but you can write your own:
public static bool Between(this int num, int lower, int upper, bool inclusive = false)
{
return inclusive
? lower <= num && num <= upper
: lower < num && num < upper;
}
I am also facing the same problem in Safari Browser
var date = new Date("2011-02-07");
console.log(date) // IE you get ‘NaN’ returned and in Safari you get ‘Invalid Date’
Here the solution:
var d = new Date(2011, 01, 07); // yyyy, mm-1, dd
var d = new Date(2011, 01, 07, 11, 05, 00); // yyyy, mm-1, dd, hh, mm, ss
var d = new Date("02/07/2011"); // "mm/dd/yyyy"
var d = new Date("02/07/2011 11:05:00"); // "mm/dd/yyyy hh:mm:ss"
var d = new Date(1297076700000); // milliseconds
var d = new Date("Mon Feb 07 2011 11:05:00 GMT"); // ""Day Mon dd yyyy hh:mm:ss GMT/UTC
From the Perldoc page on sleep:
For delays of finer granularity than one second, the Time::HiRes module (from CPAN, and starting from Perl 5.8 part of the standard distribution) provides usleep().
Actually, it provides usleep()
(which sleeps in microseconds) and nanosleep()
(which sleeps in nanoseconds). You may want usleep()
, which should let you deal with easier numbers. 1 millisecond sleep (using each):
use strict;
use warnings;
use Time::HiRes qw(usleep nanosleep);
# 1 millisecond == 1000 microseconds
usleep(1000);
# 1 microsecond == 1000 nanoseconds
nanosleep(1000000);
If you don't want to (or can't) load a module to do this, you may also be able to use the built-in select()
function:
# Sleep for 250 milliseconds
select(undef, undef, undef, 0.25);
I guess you will get ORA-01741: illegal zero-length identifier if you use the following
SELECT "" AS Contact FROM Customers;
And if you use the following 2 statements, you will be getting the same null value populated in the column.
SELECT '' AS Contact FROM Customers; OR SELECT null AS Contact FROM Customers;
I was having this problem because I was trying to connect to MySQL but I didn't have the required package. I figured it out because of @Amadan's comment to check the error log. In my case, I was having the error: Call to undefined function mysql_connect()
If your PHP file has any code to connect with a My-SQL db then you might need to install php5-mysql
first. I was getting this error because I hadn't installed it. All my file permissions were good. In Ubuntu, you can install it by the following command:
sudo apt-get install php5-mysql
If you must use a 2d array:
int numOfPairs = 10; String[][] array = new String[numOfPairs][2]; for(int i = 0; i < array.length; i++){ for(int j = 0; j < array[i].length; j++){ array[i] = new String[2]; array[i][0] = "original word"; array[i][1] = "rearranged word"; } }
Does this give you a hint?
var divss = 0;
$(function(){
$("#foo div").each(function(){
divss++;
});
console.log(divss);
});
<div id="foo">
<div id="bar" class="1"></div>
<div id="baz" class="1"></div>
<div id="bam" class="1"></div>
</div>
I had the same unknown error from codesigning that you mentioned. Similar to the answer provided (but a little different), I just locked my keychain access and unlocked it, and I was able to build and run to my device again. If anyone has the same issue, perhaps try that first before going through the trouble of modifying the keychain password.
All application execution in a Unix (Linux, Mac OS X, AIX, etc.) environment depends on the executable search path.
You can display this path in the terminal with this command:
echo $PATH
On Mac OS X (by default) this will display the following colon separated search path:
/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/X11/bin
So any executable in the listed directories can by run just by typing in their name. For example:
cat mytextfile.txt
This runs /bin/cat
and displays mytextfile.txt to the terminal.
To run any other command that is not in the executable search path requires that you qualify the path to the executable. So say I had an executable called MyProgram in my home directory on Mac OS X I can fully qualify it like so:
/Users/oliver/MyProgram
If you are in a location that is near the program you wished to execute you can qualify the name with a partial path. For example, if MyProgram
was in the directory /Users/oliver/MyProject
I and I was in my home directory I can qualify the executable name like this, and have it execute:
MyProject/MyProgram
Or say I was in the directory /Users/oliver/MyProject2
and I wanted to execute /Users/oliver/MyProject/MyProgram
I can use a relative path like this, to execute it:
../MyProject/MyProgram
Similarly if I am in the same directory as MyProgram
I need to use a "current directory" relative path. The current directory you are in is the period character followed by a slash. For example:
./MyProgram
To determine which directory you are currently in use the pwd
command.
If you are commonly putting programs in a place on your hard disk that you wish to run without having to qualify their names. For example, if you have a "bin" directory in your home directory for regularly used shell scripts of other programs it may be wise to alter your executable search path.
This can be does easily by either creating or editing the existing .bash_profile
file in your home directory and adding the lines:
#!/bin/sh
export PATH=$PATH:~/bin
Here the tilde (~) character is being used as a shortcut for /Users/oliver. Also note that the hash bang (#!) line needs to be the first line of the file (if it doesn't already exist). Note also that this technique requires that your login shell be bash (the default on Mac OS X and most Linux distributions). Also note that if you want your programs installed in ~/bin
to be used in preference to system executables your should reorder the export statement as follows:
export PATH=~/bin:$PATH
If you just want to have an event when a tab is selected, this is the correct way:
<TabControl>
<TabItem Selector.Selected="OnTabSelected" />
<TabItem Selector.Selected="OnTabSelected" />
<TabItem Selector.Selected="OnTabSelected" />
<!-- You can also catch the unselected event -->
<TabItem Selector.Unselected="OnTabUnSelected" />
</TabControl>
And in your code
private void OnTabSelected(object sender, RoutedEventArgs e)
{
var tab = sender as TabItem;
if (tab != null)
{
// this tab is selected!
}
}
What you actually have is an Activity (even if it looks like a Dialog), therefore you should call setFinishOnTouchOutside(false)
from your activity if you want to keep it open when the background activity is clicked.
EDIT: This only works with android API level 11 or greater
Try this code in Swift 3:
override func viewDidAppear(_ animated: Bool) {
setupViewResizerOnKeyboardShown()
}
func setupViewResizerOnKeyboardShown() {
NotificationCenter.default.addObserver(self,
selector: #selector(self.keyboardWillShowForResizing),
name: Notification.Name.UIKeyboardWillShow,
object: nil)
NotificationCenter.default.addObserver(self,
selector: #selector(self.keyboardWillHideForResizing),
name: Notification.Name.UIKeyboardWillHide,
object: nil)
}
func keyboardWillShowForResizing(notification: Notification) {
if let keyboardSize = (notification.userInfo?[UIKeyboardFrameEndUserInfoKey] as? NSValue)?.cgRectValue,
let window = self.view.window?.frame {
// We're not just minusing the kb height from the view height because
// the view could already have been resized for the keyboard before
self.view.frame = CGRect(x: self.view.frame.origin.x,
y: self.view.frame.origin.y,
width: self.view.frame.width,
height: window.origin.y + window.height - keyboardSize.height)
} else {
debugPrint("We're showing the keyboard and either the keyboard size or window is nil: panic widely.")
}
}
func keyboardWillHideForResizing(notification: Notification) {
if let keyboardSize = (notification.userInfo?[UIKeyboardFrameEndUserInfoKey] as? NSValue)?.cgRectValue {
let viewHeight = self.view.frame.height
self.view.frame = CGRect(x: self.view.frame.origin.x,
y: self.view.frame.origin.y,
width: self.view.frame.width,
height: viewHeight) //viewHeight + keyboardSize.height
} else {
debugPrint("We're about to hide the keyboard and the keyboard size is nil. Now is the rapture.")
}
}
deinit {
NotificationCenter.default.removeObserver(self)
}

We now finally have IDENTITY
columns like many other databases, in case of which a sequence is auto-generated behind the scenes. This solution is much faster than a trigger-based one as can be seen in this blog post.
So, your table creation would look like this:
CREATE TABLE qname
(
qname_id integer GENERATED BY DEFAULT AS IDENTITY (START WITH 1) NOT NULL PRIMARY KEY,
qname VARCHAR2(4000) NOT NULL -- CONSTRAINT qname_uk UNIQUE
);
According to the documentation, you cannot do that:
Restriction on Default Column Values A DEFAULT expression cannot contain references to PL/SQL functions or to other columns, the pseudocolumns CURRVAL, NEXTVAL, LEVEL, PRIOR, and ROWNUM, or date constants that are not fully specified.
The standard way to have "auto increment" columns in Oracle is to use triggers, e.g.
CREATE OR REPLACE TRIGGER my_trigger
BEFORE INSERT
ON qname
FOR EACH ROW
-- Optionally restrict this trigger to fire only when really needed
WHEN (new.qname_id is null)
DECLARE
v_id qname.qname_id%TYPE;
BEGIN
-- Select a new value from the sequence into a local variable. As David
-- commented, this step is optional. You can directly select into :new.qname_id
SELECT qname_id_seq.nextval INTO v_id FROM DUAL;
-- :new references the record that you are about to insert into qname. Hence,
-- you can overwrite the value of :new.qname_id (qname.qname_id) with the value
-- obtained from your sequence, before inserting
:new.qname_id := v_id;
END my_trigger;
Read more about Oracle TRIGGERs in the documentation

I had to find a quick solution, so I just used a TextBox with those properties:
var myLabel = new TextBox
{
Text = "xxx xxx xxx",
WordWrap = true,
AutoSize = false,
Enabled = false,
Size = new Size(60, 30),
BorderStyle = BorderStyle.None,
Multiline = true,
BackColor = container.BackColor
};
Try this code:
<form id="myform">
<!-- form elements -->
<a href="#" onclick="document.getElementById('myform').submit()">Submit</a>
</form>
But users with disabled JavaScript won't be able to submit the form, so you could add the following code:
<noscript>
<input type="submit" value="Submit form!" />
</noscript>
If you're using selinux it might be because of security restrictions. Try setting this as root:
# setsebool -P httpd_can_network_connect on
You can't, but you can use BETWEEN
SELECT job FROM mytable WHERE id BETWEEN 10 AND 15
Note that BETWEEN
is inclusive, and will include items with both id 10 and 15.
If you do not want inclusion, you'll have to fall back to using the >
and <
operators.
SELECT job FROM mytable WHERE id > 10 AND id < 15
You can do something like:
N <- 10
collect1 <- data.frame(id = integer(N),
max1 = numeric(N),
min1 = numeric(N))
Now be careful that in the rest of your code, you forgot to use the row index for filling the data.frame row by row. It should be:
for(i in seq_len(N)){
collect1$id[i] <- i
ss1 <- subset(df1, df1$id == i)
collect1$max1[i] <- max(ss1$value)
collect1$min1[i] <- min(ss1$value)
}
Finally, I would say that there are many alternatives for doing what you are trying to accomplish, some would be much more efficient and use a lot less typing. You could for example look at the aggregate
function, or ddply
from the plyr
package.
There is not much which I would like to add to Rody Oldenhuis answer. I usually follow the strategy that all functions which I write should run in Matlab.
Some specific functions I test on both systems, for the following use cases:
a) octave does not need a license server - e.g. if your institution does not support local licenses. I used it once in a situation where the system I used a script on had no connection to the internet and was going to run for a very long time (in a corner in the lab) and used by many different users. Remark: that is not about the license cost, but about the technical issues related.
b) Octave supports other platforms, for example, the Rasberry Pi (http://wiki.octave.org/Rasperry_Pi) - which may come in handy.
Given:
let numbers = [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Swift 3:
numbers.min() // equals 1
numbers.max() // equals 5
Swift 2:
numbers.minElement() // equals 1
numbers.maxElement() // equals 5
This line:
layout = (LinearLayout) findViewById(R.id.statsviewlayout);
Looks for the "statsviewlayout" id in your current 'contentview'. Now you've set that here:
setContentView(new GraphTemperature(getApplicationContext()));
And i'm guessing that new "graphTemperature" does not set anything with that id.
It's a common mistake to think you can just find any view with findViewById. You can only find a view that is in the XML (or appointed by code and given an id).
The nullpointer will be thrown because the layout you're looking for isn't found, so
layout.addView(buyButton);
Throws that exception.
addition: Now if you want to get that view from an XML, you should use an inflater:
layout = (LinearLayout) View.inflate(this, R.layout.yourXMLYouWantToLoad, null);
assuming that you have your linearlayout in a file called "yourXMLYouWantToLoad.xml"
Maybe placing the jquery.ui.widget.js
as second after jquery.ui.core.js
.
ROOT default app is usually Tomcat Manager - which can be useful so I felt like keeping it around.
So the way i made my app ROOT and kept TCmgr was like this.
renamed ROOT to something else
mv ROOT TCmgr
then created a symbolic link whereby ROOT points to the app i want to make the default.
ln -s <your app> ROOT
worked for me and seemed the easiest approach.
You can also use awk
to make it a little bit prettier:
git rev-list --left-right --count origin/develop...feature-branch | awk '{print "Behind "$1" - Ahead "$2""}'
You can even make an alias that always fetches origin first and then compares the branches
commit-diff = !"git fetch &> /dev/null && git rev-list --left-right --count"
You can use this one for return type of generic list:
public string ListType<T>(T value)
{
var valueType = value.GetType().GenericTypeArguments[0].FullName;
return valueType;
}
SELECT COUNT(*), table1.category_id, table2.category_name
FROM table1
INNER JOIN table2 ON table1.category_id=table2.category_id
WHERE table1.colour <> 'red'
GROUP BY table1.category_id, table2.category_name
Another way to think of it is to calculate the unit vector for a given direction and then apply a 90 degree counterclockwise rotation to get the normal vector.
The matrix representation of the general 2D transformation looks like this:
x' = x cos(t) - y sin(t)
y' = x sin(t) + y cos(t)
where (x,y) are the components of the original vector and (x', y') are the transformed components.
If t = 90 degrees, then cos(90) = 0 and sin(90) = 1. Substituting and multiplying it out gives:
x' = -y
y' = +x
Same result as given earlier, but with a little more explanation as to where it comes from.
You can use Chocolatey to install cyg-get
and then install your packages with it.
For example:
choco install cyg-get
Then:
cyg-get install my-package
You can use the DateTime
class:
$past = new DateTime("2010-01-01 00:00:00");
$now = new DateTime();
$future = new DateTime("2021-01-01 00:00:00");
Comparison operators work*:
var_dump($past < $now); // bool(true)
var_dump($future < $now); // bool(false)
var_dump($now == $past); // bool(false)
var_dump($now == new DateTime()); // bool(true)
var_dump($now == $future); // bool(false)
var_dump($past > $now); // bool(false)
var_dump($future > $now); // bool(true)
It is also possible to grab the timestamp values from DateTime objects and compare them:
var_dump($past ->getTimestamp()); // int(1262286000)
var_dump($now ->getTimestamp()); // int(1431686228)
var_dump($future->getTimestamp()); // int(1577818800)
var_dump($past ->getTimestamp() < $now->getTimestamp()); // bool(true)
var_dump($future->getTimestamp() > $now->getTimestamp()); // bool(true)
* Note that ===
returns false when comparing two different DateTime objects even when they represent the same date.

)This is a hacky way, but it's the easiest way to do this.
Method 1 : Using jQuery Ajax Get call (partial page update).
Suitable for when you need to retrieve jSon data from database.
Controller's Action Method
[HttpGet]
public ActionResult Foo(string id)
{
var person = Something.GetPersonByID(id);
return Json(person, JsonRequestBehavior.AllowGet);
}
Jquery GET
function getPerson(id) {
$.ajax({
url: '@Url.Action("Foo", "SomeController")',
type: 'GET',
dataType: 'json',
// we set cache: false because GET requests are often cached by browsers
// IE is particularly aggressive in that respect
cache: false,
data: { id: id },
success: function(person) {
$('#FirstName').val(person.FirstName);
$('#LastName').val(person.LastName);
}
});
}
Person class
public class Person
{
public string FirstName { get; set; }
public string LastName { get; set; }
}
Method 2 : Using jQuery Ajax Post call (partial page update).
Suitable for when you need to do partial page post data into database.
Post method is also same like above just replace [HttpPost]
on Action method and type as post
for jquery method.
For more information check Posting JSON Data to MVC Controllers Here
Method 3 : As a Form post scenario (full page update).
Suitable for when you need to save or update data into database.
View
@using (Html.BeginForm("SaveData","ControllerName", FormMethod.Post))
{
@Html.TextBoxFor(model => m.Text)
<input type="submit" value="Save" />
}
Action Method
[HttpPost]
public ActionResult SaveData(FormCollection form)
{
// Get movie to update
return View();
}
Method 4 : As a Form Get scenario (full page update).
Suitable for when you need to Get data from database
Get method also same like above just replace [HttpGet]
on Action method and FormMethod.Get
for View's form method.
I hope this will help to you.
A quick fix for this is use [ ] to select the attribute.
function greet(elementId) {
var inputValue = document.getElementById(elementId)["value"];
if(inputValue.trim() == "") {
inputValue = "World";
}
document.getElementById("greet").innerText = greeter(inputValue);
}
I just try few methods and find out this solution,
I don't know what's the problem behind your original script.

Take a look at HTMLSelectElement.selectedOptions.
HTML
<select name="north-america" multiple>
<option valud="ca" selected>Canada</a>
<option value="mx" selected>Mexico</a>
<option value="us">USA</a>
</select>
JavaScript
var elem = document.querySelector("select");
console.log(elem.selectedOptions);
//=> HTMLCollection [<option value="ca">Canada</option>, <option value="mx">Mexico</option>]
This would also work on non-multiple
<select>
elements
Warning: Support for this selectedOptions
seems pretty unknown at this point
For larger s&r tasks it's better and faster to use grep and xargs, so, for example;
grep -rl 'apples' /dir_to_search_under | xargs sed -i 's/apples/oranges/g'
Seems the problem is with some services, like sidekiq. Running sudo -u git -H bundle exec rake gitlab:check RAILS_ENV=production
outputs all the problems with config.
I found my issue was an improper
if (leaf = NULL) {...}
where it should have been
if (leaf == NULL){...}
Check those compiler warnings!
I kind of like this method which I think covers all the bases:
const matches = str.match(/aeiou/gi];
return matches ? matches.length : 0;
public class X { static {
System.out.println("Main not required to print this");
System.exit(0);
}}
Run from the cmdline with java X
.
I tried to explain the solution using the word count problem. 1. Read the file using sc
Methods to create DF
val rdd=sc.textFile("D://cca175/data/")
val df=sc.textFile("D://cca175/data/").toDF("t1") df.show
val df=rdd.flatMap(x=>x.split(" ")).map(x=>(x,1)).reduceByKey((x,y)=>(x+y)).toDF("word","count")
val df=spark.createDataFrame(wordRdd)
# with header
val df=spark.createDataFrame(wordRdd).toDF("word","count") df.show
import org.apache.spark.sql.types._
val schema=new StructType(). add(StructField("word",StringType,true)). add(StructField("count",StringType,true))
import org.apache.spark.sql.Row
val rowRdd=wordRdd.map(x=>(Row(x._1,x._2)))
val df=spark.createDataFrame(rowRdd,schema)
df.show
As others have mentioned, the "is" keyword. However, if you're going to later cast it to that type, eg.
TForm t = (TForm)c;
Then you should use the "as" keyword.
e.g. TForm t = c as TForm.
Then you can check
if(t != null)
{
// put TForm specific stuff here
}
Don't combine as with is because it's a duplicate check.
Normally this is done using a Factory pattern
public interface IXMLizableFactory<T extends IXMLizable> {
public T newInstanceFromXML(Element e);
}
public interface IXMLizable {
public Element toXMLElement();
}
You need to click Log Navigator icon (far right in left sidebar). Then choose your Debug/Run session in left sidebar, and you will have console in editor area.
A simple tkinter code for Python 3 for setting background image .
from tkinter import *
from tkinter import messagebox
top = Tk()
C = Canvas(top, bg="blue", height=250, width=300)
filename = PhotoImage(file = "C:\\Users\\location\\imageName.png")
background_label = Label(top, image=filename)
background_label.place(x=0, y=0, relwidth=1, relheight=1)
C.pack()
top.mainloop
I prefer:
class MTest extends Activity implements OnClickListener {
public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
...
Button b1 = (Button) findViewById(R.id.b1);
Button b2 = (Button) findViewById(R.id.b2);
b1.setOnClickListener(this);
b2.setOnClickListener(this);
...
}
And then:
@Override
public void onClick(View v) {
switch (v.getId()) {
case R.id.b1:
....
break;
case R.id.b2:
....
break;
}
}
Switch
-case
is easier to maintain than if
-else
, and this implementation doesn't require making many class variables.
Click Your app from Xcode Under Targets. (Under project.) Here you see Summary info, build settings, Build phases, build rules.
Okay go to Build Settings. Go down to Code Signing.
You see you have two fields Debug and Release. You have two profiles to choose from in each of those fields, Distributing and developing.
Let distributing be the one from the Release field. Let Developing be the one from the Debug field.
Doing this solved this problem, and let that error message go away. Now I can run my application fine.
<customErrors defaultRedirect="~/404.aspx" mode="On">
<error statusCode="404" redirect="~/404.aspx"/>
</customErrors>
Code above is only for "Page Not Found Error-404" if file extension is known(.html,.aspx etc)
Beside it you also have set Customer Errors for extension not known or not correct as
.aspwx
or .vivaldo
. You have to add httperrors
settings in web.config
<httpErrors errorMode="Custom">
<error statusCode="404" prefixLanguageFilePath="" path="/404.aspx" responseMode="Redirect" />
</httpErrors>
<modules runAllManagedModulesForAllRequests="true"/>
it must be inside the <system.webServer>
</system.webServer>
I had a similar problem and stumbled upon this question, and know thanks to Nick Olson-Harris' answer that the solution lies with changing the string.
Two ways of solving it:
Get the path you want using native python functions, e.g.:
test = os.getcwd() # In case the path in question is your current directory
print(repr(test))
This makes it platform independent and it now works with .encode
. If this is an option for you, it's the more elegant solution.
If your string is not a path, define it in a way compatible with python strings, in this case by escaping your backslashes:
test = 'C:\\Windows\\Users\\alexb\\'
print(repr(test))
Take Inputs from User and Insertion Sort. Here is how it works:
package com.learning.constructor;
import java.util.Scanner;
public class InsertionSortArray {
public static void main(String[] args) {
Scanner s=new Scanner(System.in);
System.out.println("enter number of elements");
int n=s.nextInt();
int arr[]=new int[n];
System.out.println("enter elements");
for(int i=0;i<n;i++){//for reading array
arr[i]=s.nextInt();
}
System.out.print("Your Array Is: ");
//for(int i: arr){ //for printing array
for (int i = 0; i < arr.length; i++){
System.out.print(arr[i] + ",");
}
System.out.println("\n");
int[] input = arr;
insertionSort(input);
}
private static void printNumbers(int[] input) {
for (int i = 0; i < input.length; i++) {
System.out.print(input[i] + ", ");
}
System.out.println("\n");
}
public static void insertionSort(int array[]) {
int n = array.length;
for (int j = 1; j < n; j++) {
int key = array[j];
int i = j-1;
while ( (i > -1) && ( array [i] > key ) ) {
array [i+1] = array [i];
i--;
}
array[i+1] = key;
printNumbers(array);
}
}
}
Another method would be to get the error code from the exception class directly. For example:
catch (Exception ex)
{
if (ex.InnerException is ServiceResponseException)
{
ServiceResponseException srex = ex.InnerException as ServiceResponseException;
string ErrorCode = srex.ErrorCode.ToString();
}
}
There is a method in the String API for those "joining list of string" usecases, you don't even need Stream.
List<String> myStringIterable = Arrays.asList("baguette", "bonjour");
String myReducedString = String.join(",", myStringIterable);
// And here you obtain "baguette,bonjour" in your myReducedString variable
Select the cell you want to be like this, go to cell properties (or CTRL 1) under Number tab in custom enter "X"@
Put a space between " and @ if needed
you can use indexOf for this
var a = 'how are you';
if (a.indexOf('are') > -1) {
return true;
} else {
return false;
}
Edit: This is an old answer that keeps getting up votes every once in a while so I thought I should clarify that in the above code, the if
clause is not required at all because the expression itself is a boolean. Here is a better version of it which you should use,
var a = 'how are you';
return a.indexOf('are') > -1;
Update in ECMAScript2016:
var a = 'how are you';
return a.includes('are'); //true
UPDATE Table SET Column = REPLACE(Column, char(9), '')
So, 10 years later this is still a thing :)
I've tried every answer on this page (ATOW)
and also some ILGenerator powered solutions (FastMember and Fast.Reflection).
But a compiled Lambda Expression seems to be the fastest.
At least for my use cases (on .Net Core 2.2).
This is what I am using for now:
public static class EnumerableExtensions {
internal static Func<TClass, object> CompileGetter<TClass>(string propertyName) {
var param = Expression.Parameter(typeof(TClass));
var body = Expression.Convert(Expression.Property(param, propertyName), typeof(object));
return Expression.Lambda<Func<TClass, object>>(body,param).Compile();
}
public static DataTable ToDataTable<T>(this IEnumerable<T> collection) {
var dataTable = new DataTable();
var properties = typeof(T)
.GetProperties(BindingFlags.Public | BindingFlags.Instance)
.Where(p => p.CanRead)
.ToArray();
if (properties.Length < 1) return null;
var getters = new Func<T, object>[properties.Length];
for (var i = 0; i < properties.Length; i++) {
var columnType = Nullable.GetUnderlyingType(properties[i].PropertyType) ?? properties[i].PropertyType;
dataTable.Columns.Add(properties[i].Name, columnType);
getters[i] = CompileGetter<T>(properties[i].Name);
}
foreach (var row in collection) {
var dtRow = new object[properties.Length];
for (var i = 0; i < properties.Length; i++) {
dtRow[i] = getters[i].Invoke(row) ?? DBNull.Value;
}
dataTable.Rows.Add(dtRow);
}
return dataTable;
}
}
Only works with properties (not fields) but it works on Anonymous Types.
<stdarg.h>
allows you to define variadic functions (which accept an indefinite number of arguments, like printf()
). I would define a function which took an arbitrary number of pairs of arguments, one which specifies the property to be updated, and one which specifies the value. Use an enum
or a string to specify the name of the property.
(int) add: (int) numberOne plus: (int) numberTwo ;
(returnType) functionPrimaryName : (returnTypeOfArgumentOne) argumentName functionSecondaryNa
me:
(returnTypeOfSecontArgument) secondArgumentName ;
as in other languages we use following syntax
void add(int one, int second)
but way of assigning arguments in OBJ_c
is different as described above
I did a work around. I had a hidden textbox to hold the value. Then, on form_onsubmit,
I copied the path value, less the file name to the hidden folder. Then, set the fileInput box to "". That way, no file is uploaded.
I don't recall the event of the fileUpload control. Maybe onchange. It's been a while. If there's a value, I parse off the file name and put the folder back to the box. Of, course you'd validate that the file as a valid file.
This would give you the clients workstation folder.
However, if you want to reflect server paths, that requires a whole different coding approach.
One thing that I found out (the hard way), is that you should have
$('#selectField').change(function(){
// some content ...
});
defined BEFORE you are using
$('#selectField').val(10).trigger('change');
or
$('#selectField').val(10).change();
Math.random is bad for this kind of thing
Option 1
If you're able to do this server-side, just use the crypto module -
var crypto = require("crypto");
var id = crypto.randomBytes(20).toString('hex');
// "bb5dc8842ca31d4603d6aa11448d1654"
The resulting string will be twice as long as the random bytes you generate; each byte encoded to hex is 2 characters. 20 bytes will be 40 characters of hex.
Option 2
If you have to do this client-side, perhaps try the uuid module -
var uuid = require("uuid");
var id = uuid.v4();
// "110ec58a-a0f2-4ac4-8393-c866d813b8d1"
Option 3
If you have to do this client-side and you don't have to support old browsers, you can do it without dependencies -
// dec2hex :: Integer -> String
// i.e. 0-255 -> '00'-'ff'
function dec2hex (dec) {
return dec.toString(16).padStart(2, "0")
}
// generateId :: Integer -> String
function generateId (len) {
var arr = new Uint8Array((len || 40) / 2)
window.crypto.getRandomValues(arr)
return Array.from(arr, dec2hex).join('')
}
console.log(generateId())
// "82defcf324571e70b0521d79cce2bf3fffccd69"
console.log(generateId(20))
// "c1a050a4cd1556948d41"

For more information on crypto.getRandomValues
-
The
crypto.getRandomValues()
method lets you get cryptographically strong random values. The array given as the parameter is filled with random numbers (random in its cryptographic meaning).
Here's a little console example -
> var arr = new Uint8Array(4) # make array of 4 bytes (values 0-255)
> arr
Uint8Array(4) [ 0, 0, 0, 0 ]
> window.crypto
Crypto { subtle: SubtleCrypto }
> window.crypto.getRandomValues()
TypeError: Crypto.getRandomValues requires at least 1 argument, but only 0 were passed
> window.crypto.getRandomValues(arr)
Uint8Array(4) [ 235, 229, 94, 228 ]
For IE11 support you can use -
(window.crypto || window.msCrypto).getRandomValues(arr)
