Found a Fix:

1. First ensure that printing is working from Report Manager (open a report in Report Manager and print from there).

2. If it works go to Step 3, if you received the same error you need to install the following patches on the Report Server.

There could be many reasons for this. A few that come up quickly to my mind:

1. Did you call this routine AFTER InitializeComponent()?
2. Is the path syntax you are using correct? Does it work if you try it in the debugger? Try using backslash (\) instead of Slash (/) and see.
3. This may be due to side-effects of some other code in your form. Try using the same code in a blank Form (with just the constructor and this function) and check.

From JDK 7 you can use Files.readAllBytes(Path).

You need a private setter, if you want to support the following scenario (not only for this, but this should point out one good reason): You have a Property that is readonly in your class, i.e. only the class itself is allowed to change it, but it may change it after constructing the instance. For bindings you would then need to fire a PropertyChanged-event, preferrably this should be done in the (private) property setter. Actually, you could just fire the PropertyChanged-event from somewhere else in the class, but using the private setter for this is "good citizenship", because you do not distribute your property-change-triggers all over your class but keep it at the property, where it belongs.

This is usually caused by duplicates in the query specified in USING clause. This probably means that TABLE_A is a parent table and the same ROWID is returned several times.

You could quickly solve the problem by using a DISTINCT in your query (in fact, if 'Y' is a constant value you don't even need to put it in the query).

Here is how I got it going specifically for the admob sdk jar file:

1. Drag your jar file into the libs folder.
2. Right click on the jar file and select Add Library now the jar file is a library lets add it to the compile path
3. Open the build.gradle file (note there are two build.gradle files at least, don't use the root one use the one in your project scope).

4. Find the dependencies section (for me i was trying to the admob -GoogleAdMobAdsSdk jar file) e.g.

This is a solution that uses gawk. It's something I find I need to use often so I created a function for it

Omit the "~\":

~\ doesn't mean anything in terms of the file system. The only place I've seen that correctly used is in a web app, where ASP.NET replaces the tilde with the absolute path to the root of the application.

You can typically assume the paths are relative to the folder where the EXE is located. Also, make sure that the image is specified as "content" and "copy if newer"/"copy always" in the properties tab in Visual Studio.

Normally, you run IE 32 bit.
However, on 64-bit versions of Windows, there is a separate link in the Start Menu to Internet Explorer (64 bit). There's no real reason to use it, though.

In Help, About, the 64-bit version of IE will say 64-bit Edition (just after the full version string).

The 32-bit and 64-bit versions of IE have separate addons lists (because 32-bit addons cannot be loaded in 64-bit IE, and vice-versa), so you should make sure that Java appears on both lists.

For me both keys for sql-mode worked. Whether I used

As mentioned earlier, the __del__ functionality is somewhat unreliable. In cases where it might seem useful, consider using the __enter__ and __exit__ methods instead. This will give a behaviour similar to the with open() as f: pass syntax used for accessing files. __enter__ is automatically called when entering the scope of with, while __exit__ is automatically called when exiting it. If you still have permission denied after adding IUSR & NETWORK SERVICE. Add also IIS_WPG. The addition of this last user solved my problem.

For people who can't find those users: when you're trying to add a user in security of the folder (properties of the folder), click on "Advanced" of the window "Select Users or Groups". Change the location to the computer name then click on "Find Now". You'll find those users in the list below.

This answer does not address the Debug button (you'd have to design a form and use the buttons on that to do something like the method in your next question). But it does address this part:

Note: the exception to Resume is if the error occurs in a sub-procedure without an error handling routine, then Resume will take you to the line in this proc that called the sub-procedure with the error. First, you want to use

model <- lm(Total ~ Coupon, data=df)

not model <-lm(df$Total ~ df$Coupon, data=df).

Second, by saying lm(Total ~ Coupon), you are fitting a model that uses Total as the response variable, with Coupon as the predictor. That is, your model is of the form Total = a + b*Coupon, with a and b the coefficients to be estimated. Note that the response goes on the left side of the ~, and the predictor(s) on the right.

Because of this, when you ask R to give you predicted values for the model, you have to provide a set of new predictor values, ie new values of Coupon, not Total.

Third, judging by your specification of newdata, it looks like you're actually after a model to fit Coupon as a function of Total, not the other way around. To do this:

So what does count_votes look like? Is it a script? Anything that you want to get back from an ajax call can be retrieved using a simple echo (of course you could use JSON or xml, but for this simple example you would just need to output something in count_votes.php like:

In an update to Schahriar SaffarShargh's answer, Google has recently implemented a 'Google abuse' feature, making it impossible to send just any regular old HTTP GET to a URL such as:

http://translate.google.com/translate_tts?tl=en&q=Hello%20World

which worked just fine and dandy previously. Now, following such a link presents you with a CAPTCHA. This also affects HTTP GET requests out-of-browser (such as with cURL), because using that URL gives a redirect to the abuse protection page (the CAPTCHA).

To start, you have to add the query parameter client to the request URL:

Google Translate sends &client=t, so you should too.

Before you make that HTTP request, make sure that you set the Referer header:

Edit: NOTE - on some user-agents, such as Android 4.X, the custom User-Agent header is not sent, meaning that Google will not service the request. In order to solve that problem, I simply set the User-Agent to a valid one, such as stagefright/1.2 (Linux;Android 5.0). Use Wireshark to debug requests (as I did) if Google's servers are not responding, and ensure that these headers are being set properly in the GET! Google will respond with a 503 Service Unavailable if the request fails, followed by a redirect to the CAPTCHA page.

This solution is a bit brittle; it is entirely possible that Google will change the way they handle these requests in the future, so in the end I would suggest asking Google to make a real API endpoint (free or paid) that we can use without feeling dirty for faking HTTP headers.

Edit 2: For those interested, this cURL command should work perfectly fine to download an mp3 of Hello in English:

Edit 3: Google now requires a token for each GET request (noted by tk in the querystring). Below is the revised cURL command that will correctly download a TTS mp3:

Notice the &tk=995126.592330 in the querystring; this is the new token. I obtained this token by pressing the speaker icon on translate.google.com and looking at the GET request. I simply added this querystring parameter to the previous cURL command, and it works.

NOTE: obviously this solution is very frail, and breaks at the whim of the architects at Google who introduce new things like tokens required for the requests. This token may not work tomorrow (though I will check and report back)... the point is, it is not wise to rely on this method; instead, one should turn to a commercial TTS solution, especially if using TTS in production.

First, let's clear up some terminology: "asynchronous" (async) means that it may yield control back to the calling thread before it starts. In an async method, those "yield" points are await expressions.

This is very different than the term "asynchronous", as (mis)used by the MSDN documentation for years to mean "executes on a background thread".

To futher confuse the issue, async is very different than "awaitable"; there are some async methods whose return types are not awaitable, and many methods returning awaitable types that are not async.

Enough about what they aren't; here's what they are:

• The async keyword allows an asynchronous method (that is, it allows await expressions). async methods may return Task, Task<T>, or (if you must) void.
• Any type that follows a certain pattern can be awaitable. The most common awaitable types are Task and Task<T>.

So, if we reformulate your question to "how can I run an operation on a background thread in a way that it's awaitable", the answer is to use Task.Run:

So, the basic pattern of things is to have async code depend on "awaitables" in its await expressions. These "awaitables" can be other async methods or just regular methods returning awaitables. Regular methods returning Task/Task<T> can use Task.Run to execute code on a background thread, or (more commonly) they can use TaskCompletionSource<T> or one of its shortcuts (TaskFactory.FromAsync, Task.FromResult, etc). I don't recommend wrapping an entire method in Task.Run; synchronous methods should have synchronous signatures, and it should be left up to the consumer whether it should be wrapped in a Task.Run:

A peculiar difference I have noted on gcc 5.2.1 and clang 3.6.2 is that if you have a critical loop like:

Then gcc will, when compiling with -O3 or -O2, speculatively unroll the loop eight times. Clang will not unroll it at all. Through trial and error I found that in my specific case with my program data, the right amount of unrolling is five so gcc overshot and clang undershot. However, overshooting was more detrimental to performance, so gcc performed much worse here.

I have no idea if the unrolling difference is a general trend or just something that was specific to my scenario.

A while back I wrote a few garbage collectors to teach myself more about performance optimization in C. And the results I got is in my mind enough to slightly favor clang. Especially since garbage collection is mostly about pointer chasing and copying memory.

First off, EC2 and Elastic Compute Cloud are the same thing.

Next, AWS encompasses the range of Web Services that includes EC2 and Elastic Beanstalk. It also includes many others such as S3, RDS, DynamoDB, and all the others.

EC2

EC2 is Amazon's service that allows you to create a server (AWS calls these instances) in the AWS cloud. You pay by the hour and only what you use. You can do whatever you want with this instance as well as launch n number of instances.

Elastic Beanstalk

Elastic Beanstalk is one layer of abstraction away from the EC2 layer. Elastic Beanstalk will setup an "environment" for you that can contain a number of EC2 instances, an optional database, as well as a few other AWS components such as a Elastic Load Balancer, Auto-Scaling Group, Security Group. Then Elastic Beanstalk will manage these items for you whenever you want to update your software running in AWS. Elastic Beanstalk doesn't add any cost on top of these resources that it creates for you. If you have 10 hours of EC2 usage, then all you pay is 10 compute hours.

Running Wordpress

For running Wordpress, it is whatever you are most comfortable with. You could run it straight on a single EC2 instance, you could use a solution from the AWS Marketplace, or you could use Elastic Beanstalk.

What to pick?

In the case that you want to reduce system operations and just focus on the website, then Elastic Beanstalk would be the best choice for that. Elastic Beanstalk supports a PHP stack (as well as others). You can keep your site in version control and easily deploy to your environment whenever you make changes. It will also setup an Autoscaling group which can spawn up more EC2 instances if traffic is growing.

At an outset what I can say is - Agile is an evolutionary methodology from Unified Process which focuses on Iterative & Incremental Development (IID). IID emphasizes iterative development more on construction phases (actual coding) and incremental deliveries. It wouldn't emphasize more on Requirements Analysis (Inception) and Design (Elaboration) being handled in the iterations itself. So, Iteration here is not a "mini project by itself".

In Agile, we take this IDD a bit further, adding more realities like Team Collaboration, Evolutionary Requirements and Design etc. And SCRUM is the tool to enable it by considering the human factors and building around 'Wisdom of the Group' principle. So, Sprint here is a "mini project by itself" bettering a pure IID model.

So, iterations implemented in Agile way are, yes, theoretically Sprints (highlighting the size of the iterations being small and deliveries being quick). I don't really differentiate between Agile and SCRUM and I see that SCRUM is a natural way of putting the Agile principles into use.

I just encountered this and whilst we already had .NET 4.0 installed on the server it turns out we only had the "Client Profile" version and not the "Full" version. Installing the latter fixed the problem.

In most of the modern single page applications, we indeed have to store the token somewhere on the client side (most common use case - to keep the user logged in after a page refresh).

There are a total of 2 options available: Web Storage (session storage, local storage) and a client side cookie. Both options are widely used, but this doesn't mean they are very secure.

Tom Abbott summarizes well the JWT sessionStorage and localStorage security:

Web Storage (localStorage/sessionStorage) is accessible through JavaScript on the same domain. This means that any JavaScript running on your site will have access to web storage, and because of this can be vulnerable to cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks. XSS, in a nutshell, is a type of vulnerability where an attacker can inject JavaScript that will run on your page. But that doesn't cover all possible vulnerabilities! Another potential threat is the usage of JavaScript hosted on CDNs or outside infrastructure.

What if only one of the scripts you use is compromised? Malicious JavaScript can be embedded on the page, and Web Storage is compromised. This is probably why a bunch of organizations advise not to store anything of value or trust any information in web storage. This includes session identifiers and tokens.

Therefore, my conclusion is that as a storage mechanism, Web Storage does not enforce any secure standards during transfer. Whoever reads Web Storage and uses it must do their due diligence to ensure they always send the JWT over HTTPS and never HTTP.

UPDATE: Keep in mind, at the time the answer was initially written in 2010, the bellow function toFixed() worked slightly different. toFixed() seems to do some rounding now, but not in the strictly mathematical manner. So be careful with it. Do your tests... The method described bellow will do rounding well, as mathematician would expect.

• toFixed() - method converts a number into a string, keeping a specified number of decimals. It does not actually rounds up a number, it truncates the number.
• Math.round(n) - rounds a number to the nearest integer. Thus turning:

As noted above in many of the other answers, there are many good packages that connect to the XLS/X file and get the data in a reasonable way. However, you should be warned that under no circumstances should you use the clipboard (or a .csv) file to retrieve data from Excel. To see why, enter =1/3 into a cell in excel. Now, reduce the number of decimal points visible to you to two. Then copy and paste the data into R. Now save the CSV. You'll notice in both cases Excel has helpfully only kept the data that was visible to you through the interface and you've lost all of the precision in your actual source data.

As others have pointed out, you cannot savely cast them, since a List<Object> isn't a List<Customer>. What you could do, is to define a view on the list that does in-place type checking. Using Google Collections that would be:

Basically it's a way to map a combined/minified file back to an unbuilt state. When you build for production, along with minifying and combining your JavaScript files, you generate a source map which holds information about your original files. When you query a certain line and column number in your generated JavaScript you can do a lookup in the source map which returns the original location.

I am not sure if it is angular's fault that no map files were generated. But you can turn off source map files by unchecking this option in chrome console setting

Actually, there is a command to move a collection from one database to another. It's just not called "move" or "copy".

To copy a collection, you can clone it on the same database, then move the cloned collection.

String.Join() is implemented quite fast, and as you already have a collection of the strings in question, is probably the best choice. Above all, it shouts "I'm joining a list of strings!" Always nice.

SOLUTIONS

1. Sometimes the project is created before installing g++. So install g++ first and then recreate your project. This worked for me.
2. Paste the following line in CMakeCache.txt: CMAKE_CXX_COMPILER:FILEPATH=/usr/bin/c++

Note the path to g++ depends on OS. I have used my fedora path obtained using which g++

I had the same trouble finding out the correct path for sessions on a Mac. All in all, I found out that the CLI PHP has a different temporary directory than the Apache module: Apache used /var/tmp, while CLI used something like /var/folders/kf/hk_dyn7s2z9bh7y_j59cmb3m0000gn/T. But both ways, sys_get_temp_dir() got me the right path when session.save_path is empty. Using PHP 5.5.4.

Answers suggesting to disable CURLOPT_SSL_VERIFYPEER should not be accepted. The question is "Why doesn't it work with cURL", and as correctly pointed out by Martijn Hols, it is dangerous.

The error is probably caused by not having an up-to-date bundle of CA root certificates. This is typically a text file with a bunch of cryptographic signatures that curl uses to verify a host’s SSL certificate.

You need to make sure that your installation of PHP has one of these files, and that it’s up to date (otherwise download one here: http://curl.haxx.se/docs/caextract.html).

Then set in php.ini:

The problem is that btoa and atob use binary strings instead of Uint8Array and trying to convert to and from it is cumbersome. Also there is a lot of bad packages in npm for that. I lose a lot of time before finding that one.

The creators of that specific package did a simple thing: they took the specification of Base64 (which is here by the way) and implemented it correctly from the beginning to the end. (Including other formats in the specification that are also useful like Base64-url, Base32, etc ...) That doesn't seem a lot but apparently that was too much to ask to the bunch of other libraries.

So yeah, I know I'm doing a bit of proselytism but if you want to avoid losing your time too just use rfc4648.

Put Stylesheets at the Top Links to discussion

While researching performance at Yahoo!, we discovered that moving stylesheets to the document HEAD makes pages appear to be loading faster. This is because putting stylesheets in the HEAD allows the page to render progressively.

Front-end engineers that care about performance want a page to load progressively; that is, we want the browser to display whatever content it has as soon as possible. This is especially important for pages with a lot of content and for users on slower Internet connections. The importance of giving users visual feedback, such as progress indicators, has been well researched and documented. In our case the HTML page is the progress indicator! When the browser loads the page progressively the header, the navigation bar, the logo at the top, etc. all serve as visual feedback for the user who is waiting for the page. This improves the overall user experience.

The problem with putting stylesheets near the bottom of the document is that it prohibits progressive rendering in many browsers, including Internet Explorer. These browsers block rendering to avoid having to redraw elements of the page if their styles change. The user is stuck viewing a blank white page.

The HTML specification clearly states that stylesheets are to be included in the HEAD of the page: "Unlike A, [LINK] may only appear in the HEAD section of a document, although it may appear any number of times." Neither of the alternatives, the blank white screen or flash of unstyled content, are worth the risk. The optimal solution is to follow the HTML specification and load your stylesheets in the document HEAD.

Put Scripts at the Bottom

The problem caused by scripts is that they block parallel downloads. The HTTP/1.1 specification suggests that browsers download no more than two components in parallel per hostname. If you serve your images from multiple hostnames, you can get more than two downloads to occur in parallel. While a script is downloading, however, the browser won't start any other downloads, even on different hostnames.

In some situations it's not easy to move scripts to the bottom. If, for example, the script uses document.write to insert part of the page's content, it can't be moved lower in the page. There might also be scoping issues. In many cases, there are ways to workaround these situations.

An alternative suggestion that often comes up is to use deferred scripts. The DEFER attribute indicates that the script does not contain document.write, and is a clue to browsers that they can continue rendering. Unfortunately, Firefox doesn't support the DEFER attribute. In Internet Explorer, the script may be deferred, but not as much as desired. If a script can be deferred, it can also be moved to the bottom of the page. That will make your web pages load faster.

The environment variables displayed in Jenkins (Manage Jenkins -> System information) are inherited from the system (i.e. inherited environment variables)

If you run env command in a shell you should see the same environment variables as Jenkins shows.

These variables are either set by the shell/system or by you in ~/.bashrc, ~/.bash_profile.

There are also environment variables set by Jenkins when a job executes, but these are not displayed in the System Information.

Both do different things.

The first creates an object with automatic storage duration. It is created, used, and then goes out of scope when the current block ({ ... }) ends. It's the simplest way to create an object, and is just the same as when you write int x = 0;

The second creates an object with dynamic storage duration and allows two things:

• Fine control over the lifetime of the object, since it does not go out of scope automatically; you must destroy it explicitly using the keyword delete;

• Creating arrays with a size known only at runtime, since the object creation occurs at runtime. (I won't go into the specifics of allocating dynamic arrays here.)

Neither is preferred; it depends on what you're doing as to which is most appropriate.

Use the former unless you need to use the latter.

Your original code is broken, as it deletes a char array that it did not new. In fact, nothing newd the C-style string; it came from a string literal. deleteing that is an error (albeit one that will not generate a compilation error, but instead unpredictable behaviour at runtime).

Usually an object should not have the responsibility of deleteing anything that it didn't itself new. This behaviour should be well-documented. In this case, the rule is being completely broken.

One possible solution in pure javascript:

WiX is best used with a firm understanding of what Windows Installer is doing. You might consider getting "The Definitive Guide to Windows Installer".

The action that removes an existing product is the RemoveExistingProducts action. Because the consequences of what it does depends on where it's scheduled - namely, whether a failure causes the old product to be reinstalled, and whether unchanged files are copied again - you have to schedule it yourself.

RemoveExistingProducts processes <Upgrade> elements in the current installation, matching the @Id attribute to the UpgradeCode (specified in the <Product> element) of all the installed products on the system. The UpgradeCode defines a family of related products. Any products which have this UpgradeCode, whose versions fall into the range specified, and where the UpgradeVersion/@OnlyDetect attribute is no (or is omitted), will be removed.

The documentation for RemoveExistingProducts mentions setting the UPGRADINGPRODUCTCODE property. It means that the uninstall process for the product being removed receives that property, whose value is the Product/@Id for the product being installed.

If your original installation did not include an UpgradeCode, you will not be able to use this feature.

This problem becomes apparent when you try to host a react app in github pages.

How I fixed this,

In in my main application file, called app.tsx, where I include the router. I set the basename, eg, <BrowserRouter basename="/Seans-TypeScript-ReactJS-Redux-Boilerplate/">

Note that it is a relative url, this completely simplifies the ability to run locally and hosted. The basename value, matches the repository title on GitHub. This is the path that GitHub pages will auto create.

Defining a NAME containing the lookup is a neat solution, HOWEVER, it always seems to store the sheet name with the cell reference. However, I think if you delete the sheet name in the '' quotes but leave the "!", it may work.

Excel only shows 255 characters but in fact if more than 255 characters are saved, to see the complete string, consult it in the immediate window

Be aware that bobince's answer might be overly complicated if you can assume that the class name you are interested in is not a substring of another possible class name. If this is true, you can simply use substring matching via the contains function. The following will match any element whose class contains the substring 'atag':

The solution is to build SQL statements using python's String Literal Concatenation (http://docs.python.org/), which could be qualified a somewhere between Option 2 and Option 4

Code Sample:

I just got another case to display backslash \ with Razor and Java Script.

My @Model.AreaName looks like Name1\Name2\Name3 so when I display it all backslashes are gone and I see Name1Name2Name3

I found solution to fix it:

What is Angular CLI Budgets? Budgets is one of the less known features of the Angular CLI. It’s a rather small but a very neat feature!

As applications grow in functionality, they also grow in size. Budgets is a feature in the Angular CLI which allows you to set budget thresholds in your configuration to ensure parts of your application stay within boundaries which you set — Official Documentation

Or in other words, we can describe our Angular application as a set of compiled JavaScript files called bundles which are produced by the build process. Angular budgets allows us to configure expected sizes of these bundles. More so, we can configure thresholds for conditions when we want to receive a warning or even fail build with an error if the bundle size gets too out of control!

How To Define A Budget? Angular budgets are defined in the angular.json file. Budgets are defined per project which makes sense because every app in a workspace has different needs.

Thinking pragmatically, it only makes sense to define budgets for the production builds. Prod build creates bundles with “true size” after applying all optimizations like tree-shaking and code minimization.

Oops, a build error! The maximum bundle size was exceeded. This is a great signal that tells us that something went wrong…

1. We might have experimented in our feature and didn’t clean up properly
2. Our tooling can go wrong and perform a bad auto-import, or we pick bad item from the suggested list of imports
3. We might import stuff from lazy modules in inappropriate locations
4. Our new feature is just really big and doesn’t fit into existing budgets

First Approach: Are your files gzipped?

Generally speaking, gzipped file has only about 20% the size of the original file, which can drastically decrease the initial load time of your app. To check if you have gzipped your files, just open the network tab of developer console. In the “Response Headers”, if you should see “Content-Encoding: gzip”, you are good to go.

How to gzip? If you host your Angular app in most of the cloud platforms or CDN, you should not worry about this issue as they probably have handled this for you. However, if you have your own server (such as NodeJS + expressJS) serving your Angular app, definitely check if the files are gzipped. The following is an example to gzip your static assets in a NodeJS + expressJS app. You can hardly imagine this dead simple middleware “compression” would reduce your bundle size from 2.21MB to 495.13KB.

If your bundle size does get too big you may want to analyze your bundle because you may have used an inappropriate large-sized third party package or you forgot to remove some package if you are not using it anymore. It’s super easy to get this graph.

Use the static GetInvalidFileNameChars method on the Path class in the System.IO namespace to determine what characters are illegal in a file name.

To do so in a path, call the static GetInvalidPathChars method on the same class.

To determine if the root of a path is valid, you would call the static GetPathRoot method on the Path class to get the root, then use the Directory class to determine if it is valid. Then you can validate the rest of the path normally.

I did try giving access to the folders but that did not help. My solution was to make the below highlighted options in red selected for the logged in user

An interesting observation I made while passing previous state params from one route to another is that $stateParams gets hoisted and overwrites the previous route's state params that were passed with the current state params, but using $state.params doesn't.

I am using Windows 8 and the above solutions did not work out for me. I downgraded Postgres from 9.4 to 9.3. Man,it worked :)

In Java I used encoding "IBM850" to write the file. That solved the problem.

I've found, a better way to do this is to use CSS to remove pointer-events and modify the opacity on the drop down (try 0.5). This gives the appearance to the user that it is disabled as normal, but still posts data.

Granted this has some issues with backwards compatibility, but is in my opinion a better option than getting around the annoying disabled/readonly issue.

If you are willing to pay I strongly recommend you Telerik Components for WPF. They offer great styles/themes and there have specific themes for both, Office 2013 and Windows 8 (EDIT: and also a Visual Studio 2013 themed style). However there offering much more than just styles in fact you will get a whole bunch of controls which are really useful.

After trying textract (which seemed to have too many dependencies) and pypdf2 (which could not extract text from the pdfs I tested with) and tika (which was too slow) I ended up using pdftotext from xpdf (as already suggested in another answer) and just called the binary from python directly (you may need to adapt the path to pdftotext):

To make the render engine accept html instead of jade you can follow the following steps;

1. Install consolidate and swig to your directory.

2. add following lines to your app.js file

Here are my observation, firstly you need to include the header math.h as sqrt() function declared in math.h header file. For e.g

Compiler error is correct as you haven't linked your program with library lm & linker is unable to find reference of sqrt(), you need to link it explicitly. For e.g

Be aware that in Spring it has non academic meaning. The abstract interface is a warning to the developer not to use it for @Autowired. I hope that spring/eclipse @Autowired will look at this attribute and warn/fail about usages of such.

If the data type of the field is date or timestamp, Oracle should always give the correct result if you add the correct number given in number of days (or a the correct fraction of a day in your case). So if you are trying to bump the value in 30 minutes, you should use :

Based on the information you provided, I believe this is what you tried to do and I am quite sure it works.

There is a workaround for that. If you use

XmlSerializer lizer = XmlSerializer.FromTypes(new[] { typeof(MyType) })[0];

it should avoid that exception. This worked for me.

WARNING: Do not use multiple times, or you will have a memory leak

You will leak memory like crazy if you use this method to create instances of XmlSerializer for the same type more than once!

This is because this method bypasses the built-in caching provided the XmlSerializer(type) and XmlSerializer(type, defaultNameSpace) constructors (all other constructors also bypass the cache).

If you use any method to create an XmlSerializer that is not via these two constructors, you must implement your own caching or you'll hemorrhage memory.

You have many ways offered to pass a block equivalent to function in Swift.

I found three.

To understand this I suggest you to test in playground this little piece of code.

Swift, optimized for closures

As Swift is optimized for asynchronous development, Apple worked more on closures. The first is that function signature can be inferred so you don't have to rewrite it.

Access params by numbers

This special case works only if the block is the last argument, it's called trailing closure

If you don't have a Unique Id, you can add one (every SQL table should already have Id as first column, but

Do your delete (above) and then drop the column.

Better than creating a whole new table, or any of the other cryptic stuff I've seen. Note, pretty much the same as in a comment here, but this is what I've done for years.

It is correct that set nowrap will allow you to paste in a long line without vi/vim adding newlines, but then the line is not visually wrapped for easy reading. It is instead just one long line that you have to scroll through.

To have the line visually wrap but not have newline characters inserted into it, have set wrap (which is probably default so not needed to set) and set textwidth=0.

On some systems the setting of textwidth=0 is default. If you don't find that to be the case, add set textwidth=0 to your .exrc file so that it becomes your user's default for all vi/vim sessions.

Actually the example you gave for focusing on this site works just fine, as long as you're not focused in the console. The reason that's not working is simply because it's not stealing focus from the dev console. If you run the following code in your console and then quickly click in your browser window after, you will see it focus the search box:

As for your other one, the one thing that has given me trouble in the past is order of events. You cannot call focus() on an element that hasn't been attached to the DOM. Has the element you are trying to focus already been attached to the DOM?

In a new version of mysql-server recipes above will crush "mysql" database. In old version it works. In new some tables switches to table type INNODB, and by doing so you will damage them. The easiest way is to:

• dump all you databases
• uninstall mysql-server,
• add in remained my.cnf:

To get the names of current directory we can use getcwd() or dirname(__FILE__) but getcwd() and dirname(__FILE__) are not synonymous. They do exactly what their names are. If your code is running by referring a class in another file which exists in some other directory then these both methods will return different results.

For example if I am calling a class, from where these two functions are invoked and the class exists in some /controller/goodclass.php from /index.php then getcwd() will return '/ and dirname(__FILE__) will return /controller.

This response doesn't pertain to your stated question, but to an implicit question I see in the code you posted, ie, "how to check if something is an integer?"

The first answer you'll generally get to that question is "Don't!" And it's true that in Python, typechecking is usually not the right thing to do.

For those rare exceptions, though, instead of looking for a decimal point in the string representation of the number, the thing to do is use the isinstance function:

>>> isinstance(5,int)

>>> isinstance(5.0,int)
False

Of course this applies to the variable rather than a value. If I wanted to determine whether the value was an integer, I'd do this:

No, there's no true equivalent of typedef. You can use 'using' directives within one file, e.g.

using CustomerList = System.Collections.Generic.List<Customer>;

but that will only impact that source file. In C and C++, my experience is that typedef is usually used within .h files which are included widely - so a single typedef can be used over a whole project. That ability does not exist in C#, because there's no #include functionality in C# that would allow you to include the using directives from one file in another.

Fortunately, the example you give does have a fix - implicit method group conversion. You can change your event subscription line to just:

To elaborate on multiple reply here above, there is an error in the config.inc.php shipped, where a "_" is missing, which is what this reply sais.

To fix that, you can add a "pma__table_uiprefs.inc.php" in the "/etc/phpmyadmin/conf.d" folder, leaving main configuration files untouched...

In my case, my button didn't have an ID. If your element has an id, preferably use the following (untested).

Well, you can detect when your input boxes have the focus, and you know the height of the keyboard. There is also CSS available to get the orientation of the screen, so I think you can hack it.

You would want to handle the case of a physical keyboard somehow, though.

Why Server.Transfer? Response.Redirect(Request.RawUrl) would get you what you need.
