This is kind of a hack, but does seem to work. Below are the steps and an example of modifying a table type. One note is the sp_refreshsqlmodule will fail if the change you made to the table type is a breaking change to that object, typically a procedure.

1. Use sp_rename to rename the table type, I typically just add z to the beginning of the name.
2. Create a new table type with the original name and any modification you need to make to the table type.
3. Step through each dependency and run sp_refreshsqlmodule on it.
4. Drop the renamed table type.

I have added baseUrl in the file for a project like below :

"baseUrl": "src"

It is working fine. So add your base directory for your project.

You can -Xours or -Xtheirs with git merge as well. So:

1. abort the current merge (for instance with git reset --hard HEAD)
2. merge using the strategy you prefer (git merge -Xours or git merge -Xtheirs)

DISCLAIMER: of course you can choose only one option, either -Xours or -Xtheirs, do use different strategy you should of course go file by file.

I do not know if there is a way for checkout, but I do not honestly think it is terribly useful: selecting the strategy with the checkout command is useful if you want different solutions for different files, otherwise just go for the merge strategy approach.

Just several days ago, I met the same question just like yours. All code runs well on my local machine, but turns out error(noclassdeffound&initialize). So I post my solution, but I don't know why, I merely advance a possibility. I hope someone know will explain this.@John Vint Firstly, I'll show you my problem. My code has static variable and static block both. When I first met this problem, I tried John Vint's solution, and tried to catch the exception. However, I caught nothing. So I thought it is because the static variable(but now I know they are the same thing) and still found nothing. So, I try to find the difference between the linux machine and my computer. Then I found that this problem happens only when several threads run in one process(By the way, the linux machine has double cores and double processes). That means if there are two tasks(both uses the code which has static block or variables) run in the same process, it goes wrong, but if they run in different processes, both of them are ok. In the Linux machine, I use

mvn -U clean  test -Dtest=path 

to run a task, and because my static variable is to start a container(or maybe you initialize a new classloader), so it will stay until the jvm stop, and the jvm stops only when all the tasks in one process stop. Every task will start a new container(or classloader) and it makes the jvm confused. As a result, the error happens. So, how to solve it? My solution is to add a new command to the maven command, and make every task go to the same container.

The java.io.File and consorts acts on the local disk file system. The root cause of your problem is that relative paths in java.io are dependent on the current working directory. I.e. the directory from which the JVM (in your case: the webserver's one) is started. This may for example be C:\Tomcat\bin or something entirely different, but thus not C:\Tomcat\webapps\contextname or whatever you'd expect it to be. In a normal Eclipse project, that would be C:\Eclipse\workspace\projectname. You can learn about the current working directory the following way:

However, the working directory is in no way programmatically controllable. You should really prefer using absolute paths in the File API instead of relative paths. E.g. C:\full\path\to\file.ext.

You don't want to hardcode or guess the absolute path in Java (web)applications. That's only portability trouble (i.e. it runs in system X, but not in system Y). The normal practice is to place those kind of resources in the classpath, or to add its full path to the classpath (in an IDE like Eclipse that's the src folder and the "build path" respectively). This way you can grab them with help of the ClassLoader by ClassLoader#getResource() or ClassLoader#getResourceAsStream(). It is able to locate files relative to the "root" of the classpath, as you by coincidence figured out. In webapplications (or any other application which uses multiple classloaders) it's recommend to use the ClassLoader as returned by Thread.currentThread().getContextClassLoader() for this so you can look "outside" the webapp context as well.

Another alternative in webapps is the ServletContext#getResource() and its counterpart ServletContext#getResourceAsStream(). It is able to access files located in the public web folder of the webapp project, including the /WEB-INF folder. The ServletContext is available in servlets by the inherited getServletContext() method, you can call it as-is.

Well, despite of this entry being very old. I was using bootstrap's modal this week and came along this "issue". My solution was somehow a mix of everything, just posting it as it may help someone :)

First check the Z-index war to get a fix there!

The first thing you can do is deactivate the modal backdrop, I had the Stackoverflow post before but I lost it, so I wont take the credit for it, keep that in mind; but it goes like this in the HTML code:

I found the one off function way to be too slow when there is a lot of data. So I did it through joining to a table function that would allow for a calculation of the hour diff. It is basically datetime segments with the hour offset. A year would be 4 rows. So the table function

Setting timestamps to false means you are going to lose both created_at and updated_at whereas you could set both of the keys in your model.

Case 1:

You have created_at column but not update_at you could simply set updated_at to false in your model

From git reset

"pull" or "merge" always leaves the original tip of the current branch in ORIG_HEAD.

git reset --hard ORIG_HEAD

Resetting hard to it brings your index file and the working tree back to that state, and resets the tip of the branch to that commit.

git reset --merge ORIG_HEAD

After inspecting the result of the merge, you may find that the change in the other branch is unsatisfactory. Running "git reset --hard ORIG_HEAD" will let you go back to where you were, but it will discard your local changes, which you do not want. "git reset --merge" keeps your local changes.

Before any patches are applied, ORIG_HEAD is set to the tip of the current branch.
This is useful if you have problems with multiple commits, like running 'git am' on the wrong branch or an error in the commits that is more easily fixed by changing the mailbox (e.g. +errors in the "From:" lines).

In addition, merge always sets '.git/ORIG_HEAD' to the original state of HEAD so a problematic merge can be removed by using 'git reset ORIG_HEAD'.

HEAD is a moving pointer. Sometimes it means the current branch, sometimes it doesn't.

So HEAD is NOT a synonym for "current branch" everywhere already.

HEAD means "current" everywhere in git, but it does not necessarily mean "current branch" (i.e. detached HEAD).

But it almost always means the "current commit".
It is the commit "git commit" builds on top of, and "git diff --cached" and "git status" compare against.
It means the current branch only in very limited contexts (exactly when we want a branch name to operate on --- resetting and growing the branch tip via commit/rebase/etc.).

Reflog is a vehicle to go back in time and time machines have interesting interaction with the notion of "current".

HEAD@{5.minutes.ago} could mean "dereference HEAD symref to find out what branch we are on RIGHT NOW, and then find out where the tip of that branch was 5 minutes ago".
Alternatively it could mean "what is the commit I would have referred to as HEAD 5 minutes ago, e.g. if I did "git show HEAD" back then".

git1.8.4 (July 2013) introduces introduced a new notation!
(Actually, it will be for 1.8.5, Q4 2013: reintroduced with commit 9ba89f4), by Felipe Contreras.

Instead of typing four capital letters "HEAD", you can say "@" now,
e.g. "git log @".

Typing 'HEAD' is tedious, especially when we can use '@' instead.

The reason for choosing '@' is that it follows naturally from the ref@op syntax (e.g. HEAD@{u}), except we have no ref, and no operation, and when we don't have those, it makes sens to assume 'HEAD'.

So now we can use 'git show @~1', and all that goody goodness.

Until now '@' was a valid name, but it conflicts with this idea, so let's make it invalid. Probably very few people, if any, used this name.

If you are using this path to access parts of the projects which are not code (for example an upload directory, or a SQLite database) then it might be better to turn the path into a parameter, like this:

This parameter can be injected everywhere you need it, so you don't have to mess around with paths in your code any more. Also, the parameter can be overridden at deployment time. Finally, every maintaining programmer will have a better idea what you are using it for.

If you are already using Alamofire for all the RESTful Api, here is what you can benifit from that.

You can add following class to your app, and call MNNetworkUtils.main.isConnected() to get a boolean on whether its connected or not.

This is a singleton class. Every time, when user connect or disconnect the network, it will override self.reachable to true/false correctly, because we start listening for the NetworkReachabilityManager on singleton initialization.

You can get from the same api without any additional api or url call.

Every canvas item is an object that Tkinter keeps track of. If you are clearing the screen by just drawing a black rectangle, then you effectively have created a memory leak -- eventually your program will crash due to the millions of items that have been drawn.

To clear a canvas, use the delete method. Give it the special parameter "all" to delete all items on the canvas (the string "all"" is a special tag that represents all items on the canvas):

If you want to delete only certain items on the canvas (such as foreground objects, while leaving the background objects on the display) you can assign tags to each item. Then, instead of "all", you could supply the name of a tag.

If you're creating a game, you probably don't need to delete and recreate items. For example, if you have an object that is moving across the screen, you can use the move or coords method to move the item.

Use the colnames() function:

Yes it can have a constructor and it is defined and behaves just like any other class's constructor. Except that abstract classes can't be directly instantiated, only extended, so the use is therefore always from a subclass's constructor.

I had this issue with my 'umbrella framework' which when I was building the second level framework.

I solved this by changing my first level framwork's Build Scheme for 'Generic iOS Device'. I think this will change _CodeSignature, which I saw the difference when I pushing my whole 'umbrella framework' to GitHub.

As the instructions state, using the open() function does work, and opens the default web browser - usually I would say: "why wouldn't I want to use Firefox?!" (my default and favorite browser)

The above should work for the computer's default browser. However, what if you want to to open in Google Chrome?

The proper way to do this is:

To be honest, I'm not really sure that I know the difference between 'chrome' and 'google-chrome', but apparently there is some since they've made the two different type names in the webbrowser documentation.

However, doing this didn't work right off the bat for me. Every time, I would get the error:

You should check whether it is here or not for yourself.

To add this to your Environment Variables System PATH, right click on your Windows icon and go to System. System Control Panel applet (Start - Settings - Control Panel - System). Change advanced settings, or the advanced tab, and select the button there called Environment Varaibles.

Once you click on Environment Variables here, another window will pop up. Scroll through the items, select PATH, and click edit.

Once you're in here, click New to add the folder path to your chrome.exe file. Like I said above, mine was found at:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application

Click save and exit out of there. Then make sure you reboot your computer.

tick_params is very useful for setting tick properties. Labels can be moved to the top with:

Regarding int main():

According to the Standard, argv points to a NULL-terminated array (of pointers to null-terminated strings). (5.1.2.2.1:1).

That is, argv = (char **){ argv[0], ..., argv[argc - 1], 0 };.

Hence, size calculation is performed by a function which is a trivial modification of strlen().

argc is only there to make argv length calculation O(1).

The count-until-NULL method will NOT work for generic array input. You will need to manually specify size as a second argument.

children() only looks at the immediate children of the node, while find() traverses the entire DOM below the node, so children() should be faster given equivalent implementations. However, find() uses native browser methods, while children() uses JavaScript interpreted in the browser. In my experiments there isn't much performance difference in typical cases.

Which to use depends on whether you only want to consider the immediate descendants or all nodes below this one in the DOM, i.e., choose the appropriate method based on the results you desire, not the speed of the method. If performance is truly an issue, then experiment to find the best solution and use that (or see some of the benchmarks in the other answers here).

In case this might help someone, after installing the thread safe version of PHP 5.5.1, everything was working under apache for my dev sites, but I ran into the same "php5.dll is missing" problem installing Composer using the Composer-Setup.exe - or, as I soon discovered, just running something as simple as php -v from the command line. I made a copy of php5ts.dll and named it php5.dll and everything worked. I assume the Composer installer was specifically looking for "php5.dll" and I knew that the thread safe code would be run by the renamed .dll. I also assume something is wrong with my setup to screw up the command line functionality, but with everything working, I have more important issues to deal with than to try and find the problem.

To do without reinstalling spyder in all environments follow official reference here.

In summary (tested with conda):

• Spyder should be installed in the base environment

From the system prompt:

• Create an new environment. Note that depending on how you create it (conda, virtualenv) the environment folder will be located at different place on your system)

• Activate the environment (e.g., conda activate [yourEnvName])

• Install spyder-kernels inside the environment (e.g., conda install spyder-kernels)

• Find and copy the path for the python executable inside the environment. Finding this path can be done using from the prompt this command python -c "import sys; print(sys.executable)"

• Deactivate the environment (i.e., return to base conda deactivate)

• run spyder (spyder3)

• Finally in spyder Tool menu go to Preferences > Python Interpreter > Use the following interpreter and paste the environment python executable path

• Restart the ipython console

It seems that so far you've just followed the first step of the instructions, headed "Create an offline installation folder". Have you done the second step? "Install from the offline installation folder" - that is, install the certificates and then run vs_Community.exe from inside the folder.

There is also a completely different way which may be even easier, as we do not deal with large numbers.

Instead of sorting the whole array after you retrieved all filenames and lastModified dates, you can just insert every single filename just after you retrieved it at the right position of the list.

You can do it like this:

list.add(1, object1)
list.add(2, object3)
list.add(2, object2)

After you add object2 to position 2, it will move object3 to position 3.

I don't know of a platform independent way of doing it, but under Windows, if you use the msvcrt module, you can use its getch function:

mscvcrt also includes the non-blocking kbhit() function to see if a key was pressed without waiting (not sure if there's a corresponding curses function). The problem (as KennyTM noted) is that LaTeX won't hyphenate words with dashes in them. Luckily, there's a standard package (part of ncctools) that addresses that very problem, called extdash. This defines new hyphen and dash commands that do not disrupt hyphenation, and which can allow or prevent line breaks at the hyphen/dash. I prefer to use it with the shortcuts option, so I can use, e.g., \-/ rather than \Hyphdash. Here's what you want:

What you request is quite a costy operation, make sure you don't need to do it often (e.g in a cycle).

If you need it to stay sorted and you update it frequently, you can create a custom collection. For example, I came up with one that has your TreeBidiMap and TreeMultiset under the hood. Implement only what you need and care about data integrity.

This way, you have a sorted Multiset returned from values(). However, if you need it to be a list (e.g. you need the array-like get(index) method), you'd need something more complex.

For brevity, I only return unmodifiable collections. What @Lino mentioned is correct, and modifying the keySet or values collection as it is would make it inconsistent. I don't know any consistent way to make the values mutable, but the keySet could support remove if it uses the remove method from the MyCustomCollection class above.

Lambda Proxy Integration, If you enable it, API Gateway will map every request to JSON and pass it to Lambda as the event object. In the Lambda function you’ll be able to retrieve query string parameters, headers, stage variables, path parameters, request context, and the body from it.

Without enabling Lambda Proxy Integration, you’ll have to create a mapping template in the Integration Request section of API Gateway and decide how to map the HTTP request to JSON yourself. And you’d likely have to create an Integration Response mapping if you were to pass information back to the client.

Before Lambda Proxy Integration was added, users were forced to map requests and responses manually, which was a source of consternation, especially with more complex mappings.

The body field, if you are returning JSON, must be converted to a string or it will cause further problems with the response. You can use JSON.stringify to handle this in Node.js functions; other runtimes will require different solutions, but the concept is the same.

For JavaScript to access it as a JSON object, need to convert it back into JSON object with json.parse in JapaScript, json.dumps in Python.

OP, you can convert a string to type Boolean by using any of the methods stated below:

Looks like there are no direct way to do this to detect if user has tapped on home + power button. As per this, it was possible earlier by using darwin notification, but it doesn't work any more. Since snapchat is already doing it, my guess is that they are checking the iPhone photo album to detect if there is a new picture got added in between this 10 seconds, and in someway they are comparing with the current image displayed. May be some image processing is done for this comparison. Just a thought, probably you can try to expand this to make it work. Check this for more details.

Looks like they might be detecting the UITouch cancel event(Screen capture cancels touches) and showing this error message to the user as per this blog: How to detect screenshots on iOS (like SnapChat)

In that case you can use – touchesCancelled:withEvent: method to sense the UITouch cancellation to detect this. You can remove the image in this delegate method and show an appropriate alert to the user.

CLASSPATH is an environment variable (i.e., global variables of the operating system available to all the processes) needed for the Java compiler and runtime to locate the Java packages used in a Java program. (Why not call PACKAGEPATH?) This is similar to another environment variable PATH, which is used by the CMD shell to find the executable programs.

CLASSPATH can be set in one of the following ways:

CLASSPATH can be set permanently in the environment: In Windows, choose control panel ? System ? Advanced ? Environment Variables ? choose "System Variables" (for all the users) or "User Variables" (only the currently login user) ? choose "Edit" (if CLASSPATH already exists) or "New" ? Enter "CLASSPATH" as the variable name ? Enter the required directories and JAR files (separated by semicolons) as the value (e.g., ".;c:\javaproject\classes;d:\tomcat\lib\servlet-api.jar"). There is unlikely to be a huge performance difference between the two. As always, when faced with a "which is faster?" question, you should always think "I can measure this."

Write two loops that do the same thing in the body of the loop, execute and time them both, and see what the difference in speed is. Do this with both an almost-empty body, and a loop body similar to what you'll actually be doing. Also try it with the collection type that you're using, because different types of collections can have different performance characteristics.

An easier alternative for those who would prefer not to write all that configuration boilerplate manually...

You still need to worry about memory when you are writing managed code unless your application is trivial. I will suggest two things: first, read CLR via C# because it will help you understand memory management in .NET. Second, learn to use a tool like CLRProfiler (Microsoft). This can give you an idea of what is causing your memory leak (e.g. you can take a look at your large object heap fragmentation)

Here's a light weight way to use require and exports in your web client. It's a simple wrapper that creates a "namespace" global variable, and you wrap your CommonJS compatible code in a "define" function like this:

Creating .exe distributions isn't typical for Java. While such wrappers do exist, the normal mode of operation is to create a .jar file.

To create a .jar file from a Java project in Eclipse, use file->export->java->Jar file. This will create an archive with all your classes.

On the command prompt, use invocation like the following:

I know the question is about GCC, but for people looking for how to do this in other and/or multiple compilers…

TL;DR

You might want to take a look at Hedley, which is a public-domain single C/C++ header I wrote which does a lot of this stuff for you. I'll put a quick section about how to use Hedley for all this at the end of this post.

Disabling the warning

#pragma warning (disable: …) has equivalents in most compilers:

• MSVC: #pragma warning(disable:4996)
• GCC: #pragma GCC diagnostic ignored "-W…" where the ellipsis is the name of the warning; e.g., #pragma GCC diagnostic ignored "-Wdeprecated-declarations.
• clang: #pragma clang diagnostic ignored "-W…". The syntax is basically the same as GCC's, and many of the warning names are the same (though many aren't).
• Intel C Compiler: Use the MSVC syntax, but keep in mind that warning numbers are totally different. Example: #pragma warning(disable:1478 1786).
• PGI/NVidia: There is a diag_suppress pragma: #pragma diag_suppress 1215,1444. Note that all warning numbers increased by one in 20.7 (the first NV HPC release).
• TI: There is a diag_suppress pragma with the same syntax (but different warning numbers!) as PGI: pragma diag_suppress 1291,1718
• Oracle Developer Studio (suncc): there is an error_messages pragma. Annoyingly, the warnings are different for the C and C++ compilers. Both of these disable basically the same warnings:
  • C: #pragma error_messages(off,E_DEPRECATED_ATT,E_DEPRECATED_ATT_MESS)
  • C++: #pragma error_messages(off,symdeprecated,symdeprecated2)
• IAR: also uses diag_suppress like PGI and TI, but the syntax is different. Some of the warning numbers are the same, but I others have diverged: #pragma diag_suppress=Pe1444,Pe1215
• Pelles C: similar to MSVC, though again the numbers are different #pragma warn(disable:2241)

For most compilers it is often a good idea to check the compiler version before trying to disable it, otherwise you'll just end up triggering another warning. For example, GCC 7 added support for the -Wimplicit-fallthrough warning, so if you care about GCC before 7 you should do something like

Other code may check for __has_warning and fall back on checking compiler versions if it doesn't exist, and if you define __has_warning you'll break their code. The right way to do this is to create a macro in your namespace. For example:

• Intel 13+ (and probably earlier): #pragma warning(push) / #pragma warning(pop)
• MSVC 15+ (VS 9.0 / 2008): #pragma warning(push) / #pragma warning(pop)
• ARM 5.6+: #pragma push / #pragma pop
• TI 8.1+: #pragma diag_push / #pragma diag_pop
• Pelles C 2.90+ (and probably earlier): #pragma warning(push) / #pragma warning(pop)

If memory serves, for some very old versions of GCC (like 3.x, IIRC) the push/pop pragmas had to be outside of the function.

Hiding the gory details

For most compilers it's possible to hide the logic behind macros using _Pragma, which was introduced in C99. Even in non-C99 mode, most compilers support _Pragma; the big exception is MSVC, which has its own __pragma keyword with a different syntax. The standard _Pragma takes a string, Microsoft's version doesn't:

The easy way: Hedley

Now that you understand the mechanics of how to do stuff like this portably while keeping your code clean, you understand what one of my projects, Hedley does. Instead of digging through tons of documentation and/or installing as many versions of as many compilers as you can to test with, you can just include Hedley (it is a single public domain C/C++ header) and be done with it. For example:

And, on compilers which aren't known to work, the macros will be preprocessed away to nothing, so your code will continue to work with any compiler. Of course HEDLEY_DIAGNOSTIC_DISABLE_DEPRECATED isn't the only warning Hedley knows about, nor is disabling warnings all Hedley can do, but hopefully you get the idea.

What it means:

• The character class [[:blank:]] matches either a single space character or a single tab character.
  • Use [[:space:]] instead to match any single whitespace character (commonly space, tab, newline, carriage return, form-feed, and vertical tab).
  • The + quantifier means match one or more of the previous pattern.
  • So [[:blank:]]+ is a sequence of one or more characters that are all space or tab.
• The \n in the replacement is the newline that you want.
• The /g modifier on the end means perform the substitution as many times as possible rather than just once.
• The -E option tells sed to use POSIX extended regex syntax and in particular for this case the + quantifier. Without -E, your sed command becomes sed -e 's/[[:blank:]]\+/\n/g'. (Note the use of \+ rather than simple +.)

Perl Compatible Regexes

For those familiar with Perl-compatible regexes and a PCRE-capable sed, use \s+ to match runs of at least one whitespace character, as in

sed -E -e 's/\s+/\n/g' old > new

or

sed -e 's/\s\+/\n/g' old > new

These commands read input from the file old and write the result to a file named new in the current directory.

Maximum portability, maximum cruftiness

Going back to almost any version of sed since Version 7 Unix, the command invocation is a bit more baroque.

Notes:

• Here we do not even assume the existence of the humble + quantifier and simulate it with a single space-or-tab ([ \t]) followed by zero or more of them ([ \t]*).
• Similarly, assuming sed does not understand \n for newline, we have to include it on the command line verbatim.
  • The \ and the end of the first line of the command is a continuation marker that escapes the immediately following newline, and the remainder of the command is on the next line.
    • Note: There must be no whitespace preceding the escaped newline. That is, the end of the first line must be exactly backslash followed by end-of-line.
  • This error prone process helps one appreciate why the world moved to visible characters, and you will want to exercise some care in trying out the command with copy-and-paste.

Note on backslashes and quoting

The commands above all used single quotes ('') rather than double quotes (""). Consider:

$ echo '\\\\' "\\\\"
\\\\ \\

That is, the shell applies different escaping rules to single-quoted strings as compared with double-quoted strings. You typically want to protect all the backslashes common in regexes with single quotes.

Perhaps something like this (untested code but should give you an idea)?

Instead of removing your entire gradle cache, like some answers here are suggesting, you can delete the cache for a specific group or artifact id. I added the following function to my .bash_profile:

First, put your file *.class (e.g Hello.class) into 1 folder (e.g C:\java). Then you try command and type cd /d C:\java. Now you can type "java Hello" !

Maybe slight overkill but created library ngx-if-empty-or-has-items it checks if an object, set, map or array is not empty. Maybe it will help somebody. It has the same functionality as ngIf (then, else and 'as' syntax is supported).

Once I had this problem after renaming a file. I renamed the file from within Xcode, but afterwards Xcode couldn't find the function in the file. Even a clean rebuild didn't fix the problem, but closing and then re-opening the project got the build to work.

Another workaround would be to spoof your IP using some sort of Public VPN or Tor network. This would be assuming the rate-limiting on the server at IP level.

I also put an answer there, but the article @Colonel Panic's update refers to suggests forcing TLS 1.2. In the future, when TLS 1.2 is compromised or just superceded, having your code stuck to TLS 1.2 will be considered a deficiency. Negotiation to TLS1.2 is enabled in .Net 4.6 by default. If you have the option to upgrade your source to .Net 4.6, I would highly recommend that change over forcing TLS 1.2.

If you do force TLS 1.2, strongly consider leaving some type of breadcrumb that will remove that force if you do upgrade to the 4.6 or higher framework.

My problem ended up being that I did not understand the signtool options. I had provided the /n option with something that did not match my certificate. When I removed that it stopped complaining.

You should first make sure that the process has completed running and the return code has been read out using the .wait method. This will return the code. If you want access to it later, it's stored as .returncode in the Popen object.

In my case, it was due to an IP address that Apache is listening to. Previously I have set it to 192.168.10.6 and recently Apache service is not running. I noticed that due to My laptop wifi changed recently and new IP is different. After fixing the wifi IP to laptop previous IP, Apache service is running again without any error.

Also if you don't want to change wifi IP then remove/comment that hardcode IP in httpd.conf file to resolve conflict.

std::vector has a constructor that takes two iterators. You can use that:

I have this link on my HTML-page:

When I click the link the link disappears and the text shown in the browser changes to "new content".

But if I remove the "false" from my link, clicking the link does (seemingly) nothing. Why is that?

It is because if I don't return false the default behavior of clicking the link and displaying its target-page happens, is not canceled. BUT, here the href of the hyperlink is "" so it links back to the SAME current page. So the page is effectively just refreshed and seemingly nothing happens.

In the background the function setBodyHtml() still does get executed. It assigns its argument to body.innerHTML. But because the page is immediately refreshed/reloaded the modified body-content does not stay visible for more than a few milliseconds perhaps, so I will not see it.

This example shows why it is sometimes USEFUL to use "return false".

I do want to assign SOME href to the link, so that it shows as a link, as underlined text. But I don't want the click to the link to effectively just reload the page. I want that default navigation=behavior to be canceled and whatever side-effects are caused by calling my function to take and stay in effect. Therefore I must "return false".

The example above is something you would quickly try out during development. For production you would more likely assign a click-handler in JavaScript and call preventDefault() instead. But for a quick try-it-out the "return false" above does the trick.

d3dave's answer is cool. However theGreenGarbage mentioned an issue about it which I too find rather annoying. So here's one that doesn't immediately suggest something after '=' sign and when typing blank space:

As suggested by @rqLizard, you can use openssl_encrypt/openssl_decrypt PHP functions instead which provides a much better alternative to implement AES (The Advanced Encryption Standard) also known as Rijndael encryption.

As per the following Scott's comment at php.net:

If you're writing code to encrypt/encrypt data in 2015, you should use openssl_encrypt() and openssl_decrypt(). The underlying library (libmcrypt) has been abandoned since 2007, and performs far worse than OpenSSL (which leverages AES-NI on modern processors and is cache-timing safe).

Also, MCRYPT_RIJNDAEL_256 is not AES-256, it's a different variant of the Rijndael block cipher. If you want AES-256 in mcrypt, you have to use MCRYPT_RIJNDAEL_128 with a 32-byte key. OpenSSL makes it more obvious which mode you are using (i.e. aes-128-cbc vs aes-256-ctr).

OpenSSL also uses PKCS7 padding with CBC mode rather than mcrypt's NULL byte padding. Thus, mcrypt is more likely to make your code vulnerable to padding oracle attacks than OpenSSL.

Finally, if you are not authenticating your ciphertexts (Encrypt Then MAC), you're doing it wrong.

To clarify, above change is not a true conversion since the two encryption uses a different block size and a different encrypted data. Additionally, the default padding is different, MCRYPT_RIJNDAEL only supports non-standard null padding. ^@zaph

Additional notes (from the @zaph's comments):

• Rijndael 128 (MCRYPT_RIJNDAEL_128) is equivalent to AES, however Rijndael 256 (MCRYPT_RIJNDAEL_256) is not AES-256 as the 256 specifies a block size of 256-bits, whereas AES has only one block size: 128-bits. So basically Rijndael with a block size of 256-bits (MCRYPT_RIJNDAEL_256) has been mistakenly named due to the choices by the mcrypt developers. ^@zaph
• Rijndael with a block size of 256 may be less secure than with a block size of 128-bits because the latter has had much more reviews and uses. Secondly, interoperability is hindered in that while AES is generally available, where Rijndael with a block size of 256-bits is not.

• Encryption with different block sizes for Rijndael produces different encrypted data.

  For example, MCRYPT_RIJNDAEL_256 (not equivalent to AES-256) defines a different variant of the Rijndael block cipher with size of 256-bits and a key size based on the passed in key, where aes-256-cbc is Rijndael with a block size of 128-bits with a key size of 256-bits. Therefore they're using different block sizes which produces entirely different encrypted data as mcrypt uses the number to specify the block size, where OpenSSL used the number to specify the key size (AES only has one block size of 128-bits). So basically AES is Rijndael with a block size of 128-bits and key sizes of 128, 192 and 256 bits. Therefore it's better to use AES, which is called Rijndael 128 in OpenSSL.

If you are mocking the behavior (with something like doNothing()) there should really be no need to call to verify*(). That said, here's my stab at re-writing your test method:

I grouped into four sections to better highlight what is going on:

1. Variables

I choose to declare any instance variables / method arguments / mock collaborators here. If it is something used in multiple tests, consider making it an instance variable of the test class.

2. Mock Behavior

This is where you define the behavior of all of your mocks. You're setting up return values and expectations here, prior to executing the code under test. Generally speaking, if you set the mock behavior here you wouldn't need to verify the behavior later.

3. Execute

Nothing fancy here; this just kicks off the code being tested. I like to give it its own section to call attention to it.

4. Verify

This is when you call any method starting with verify or assert. After the test is over, you check that the things you wanted to have happen actually did happen. That is the biggest mistake I see with your test method; you attempted to verify the method call before it was ever given a chance to run. Second to that is you never specified which static method you wanted to verify.

Additional Notes

This is mostly personal preference on my part. There is a certain order you need to do things in but within each grouping there is a little wiggle room. This helps me quickly separate out what is happening where.

If you want to snap particular running Windows app you’ll have to acquire a handle by looping over all open windows in your system.

It’s easier if you can open this app from Python script. Then you can convert process pid into window handle.

Another challenge is to snap the app that runs in particular monitor. I have 3 monitor system and I had to figure out how to snap display 2 and 3.

1. Created a non-generic wrapper class around Stack (say MyStack)
2. MyStack[] stacks = new MyStack[2] worked perfectly well

Ugly, but Java is happy.

Note: as mentioned by BrainSlugs83 in the comment to the question, it is totally possible to have arrays of generics in .NET

@Matthew's solution is the simplest and will perform well enough in most cases.

If you need high performance, AtomicInteger is a better solution ala @BalusC.

However, a faster solution (provided thread safety is not an issue) is to use TObjectIntHashMap which provides a increment(key) method and uses primitives and less objects than creating AtomicIntegers. e.g.
