I lately came up with this error. But it was even more odd. I was working on Android N and everything was going smoothly OK, until I test it on JellyBeans and Lollipop. In which I kept on getting the same DB error.
android.database.sqlite.SQLiteCantOpenDatabaseException: unknown error (code 14): Could not open database 06-10 23:07:03.641: E/SQLiteDatabase(4419):
I had the right permissions in my manifest, including:
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" />
The problem was this line in my DataBaseHelper.java:
private static String DB_PATH = "/data/data/com.example.quotes/databases";
which needed to be loaded from the context this way:
String DB_PATH = getContext().getApplicationInfo().dataDir+"/databases/";
Now is working properly form SDK 17.
You may check the following command
sp_configure 'show advanced options', 1;
RECONFIGURE;
GO --Added
sp_configure 'Ad Hoc Distributed Queries', 1;

Or this documentation link
First cast your Edit text like this:
TextView tekst = (TextView) findViewById(R.id.editText1);
tekst.setText(text);
And after that close the DB not befor this line...
myDataBaseHelper.close();
For anyone coming here looking for how to do this in C#, I have tried the following method and had success in dotnet core 2.0.3
and entity framework core 2.0.3
First create your model class.
public class User
{
public string Name { get; set; }
public int Address { get; set; }
public int ZIP { get; set; }
public string Gender { get; set; }
}
Then install EPPlus Nuget package. (I used version 4.0.5, probably will work for other versions as well.)
Install-Package EPPlus -Version 4.0.5
The create ExcelExportHelper
class, which will contain the logic to convert dataset to Excel rows. This class do not have dependencies with your model class or dataset.
public class ExcelExportHelper
{
public static string ExcelContentType
{
get
{ return "application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.spreadsheetml.sheet"; }
}
public static DataTable ListToDataTable<T>(List<T> data)
{
PropertyDescriptorCollection properties = TypeDescriptor.GetProperties(typeof(T));
DataTable dataTable = new DataTable();
for (int i = 0; i < properties.Count; i++)
{
PropertyDescriptor property = properties[i];
dataTable.Columns.Add(property.Name, Nullable.GetUnderlyingType(property.PropertyType) ?? property.PropertyType);
}
object[] values = new object[properties.Count];
foreach (T item in data)
{
for (int i = 0; i < values.Length; i++)
{
values[i] = properties[i].GetValue(item);
}
dataTable.Rows.Add(values);
}
return dataTable;
}
public static byte[] ExportExcel(DataTable dataTable, string heading = "", bool showSrNo = false, params string[] columnsToTake)
{
byte[] result = null;
using (ExcelPackage package = new ExcelPackage())
{
ExcelWorksheet workSheet = package.Workbook.Worksheets.Add(String.Format("{0} Data", heading));
int startRowFrom = String.IsNullOrEmpty(heading) ? 1 : 3;
if (showSrNo)
{
DataColumn dataColumn = dataTable.Columns.Add("#", typeof(int));
dataColumn.SetOrdinal(0);
int index = 1;
foreach (DataRow item in dataTable.Rows)
{
item[0] = index;
index++;
}
}
// add the content into the Excel file

}
catch (Exception) //nishanc

// format header - bold, yellow on black
using (ExcelRange r = workSheet.Cells[startRowFrom, 1, startRowFrom, dataTable.Columns.Count])

Now add this method where you want to generate the excel file, probably for a method in the controller. You can pass parameters for your stored procedure as well. Note that the return type of the method is FileContentResult
. Whatever query you execute, important thing is you must have the results in a List
.
[HttpPost]
public async Task<FileContentResult> Create([Bind("Id,StartDate,EndDate")] GetReport getReport)
{
DateTime startDate = getReport.StartDate;
DateTime endDate = getReport.EndDate;
// call the stored procedure and store dataset in a List.
List<User> users = _context.Reports.FromSql("exec dbo.SP_GetEmpReport @start={0}, @end={1}", startDate, endDate).ToList();
//set custome column names
string[] columns = { "Name", "Address", "ZIP", "Gender"};
byte[] filecontent = ExcelExportHelper.ExportExcel(users, "Users", true, columns);
// set file name.
return File(filecontent, ExcelExportHelper.ExcelContentType, "Report.xlsx");
}

If you're using an implementation of System.Collections.IEnumerable
you can do like following to convert it to a List
. The following uses Enumerable.Cast method to convert IEnumberable
to a Generic List
.
//ArrayList Implements IEnumerable interface
ArrayList _provinces = new System.Collections.ArrayList();
_provinces.Add("Western");
_provinces.Add("Eastern");
List<string> provinces = _provinces.Cast<string>().ToList();
If you're using Generic version IEnumerable<T>
, The conversion is straight forward. Since both are generics, you can do like below,
IEnumerable<int> values = Enumerable.Range(1, 10);
List<int> valueList = values.ToList();
But if the IEnumerable
is null, when you try to convert it to a List
, you'll get
ArgumentNullException
saying Value cannot be null.
IEnumerable<int> values2 = null;
List<int> valueList2 = values2.ToList();
Therefore as mentioned in the other answer, remember to do a null
check before converting it to a List
.
Square brackets:
jsObj['key' + i] = 'example' + 1;
In JavaScript, all arrays are objects, but not all objects are arrays. The primary difference (and one that's pretty hard to mimic with straight JavaScript and plain objects) is that array instances maintain the length
property so that it reflects one plus the numeric value of the property whose name is numeric and whose value, when converted to a number, is the largest of all such properties. That sounds really weird, but it just means that given an array instance, the properties with names like "0"
, "5"
, "207"
, and so on, are all treated specially in that their existence determines the value of length
. And, on top of that, the value of length
can be set to remove such properties. Setting the length
of an array to 0
effectively removes all properties whose names look like whole numbers.
OK, so that's what makes an array special. All of that, however, has nothing at all to do with how the JavaScript [ ]
operator works. That operator is an object property access mechanism which works on any object. It's important to note in that regard that numeric array property names are not special as far as simple property access goes. They're just strings that happen to look like numbers, but JavaScript object property names can be any sort of string you like.
Thus, the way the [ ]
operator works in a for
loop iterating through an array:
for (var i = 0; i < myArray.length; ++i) {
var value = myArray[i]; // property access
// ...
}
is really no different from the way [ ]
works when accessing a property whose name is some computed string:
var value = jsObj["key" + i];
The [ ]
operator there is doing precisely the same thing in both instances. The fact that in one case the object involved happens to be an array is unimportant, in other words.
When setting property values using [ ]
, the story is the same except for the special behavior around maintaining the length
property. If you set a property with a numeric key on an array instance:
myArray[200] = 5;
then (assuming that "200" is the biggest numeric property name) the length
property will be updated to 201
as a side-effect of the property assignment. If the same thing is done to a plain object, however:
myObj[200] = 5;
there's no such side-effect. The property called "200" of both the array and the object will be set to the value 5
in otherwise the exact same way.
One might think that because that length
behavior is kind-of handy, you might as well make all objects instances of the Array constructor instead of plain objects. There's nothing directly wrong about that (though it can be confusing, especially for people familiar with some other languages, for some properties to be included in the length
but not others). However, if you're working with JSON serialization (a fairly common thing), understand that array instances are serialized to JSON in a way that only involves the numerically-named properties. Other properties added to the array will never appear in the serialized JSON form. So for example:
var obj = [];
obj[0] = "hello world";
obj["something"] = 5000;
var objJSON = JSON.stringify(obj);
the value of "objJSON" will be a string containing just ["hello world"]
; the "something" property will be lost.
If you're able to use ES6 JavaScript features, you can use Computed Property Names to handle this very easily:
var key = 'DYNAMIC_KEY',
obj = {
[key]: 'ES6!'
};
console.log(obj);
// > { 'DYNAMIC_KEY': 'ES6!' }
Another option may be this John Resig remove method. can better fit what you need. if you know the index in the array.
Another interesting solution to luch an exeternal application with a WinForm container is the follow:
[DllImport("user32.dll")]
static extern IntPtr SetParent(IntPtr hWndChild, IntPtr hWndNewParent);
private void Form1_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
ProcessStartInfo psi = new ProcessStartInfo("notepad.exe");
psi.WindowStyle = ProcessWindowStyle.Minimized;
Process p = Process.Start(psi);
Thread.Sleep(500);
SetParent(p.MainWindowHandle, panel1.Handle);
CenterToScreen();
psi.WindowStyle = ProcessWindowStyle.Normal;
}
The step to ProcessWindowStyle.Minimized
from ProcessWindowStyle.Normal remove the annoying delay.
When you have some styles on a parent element that interfere with a popover, you’ll want to specify a custom container so that the popover’s HTML appears within that element instead.
For instance say the parent for a popover is body then you can use.
<a href="#" data-toggle="tooltip" data-container="body"> Popover One </a>
Other case might be when popover is placed inside some other element and you want to show popover over that element, then you'll need to specify that element in data-container. ex: Suppose, we have popover inside a bootstrap modal with id as 'modal-two', then you'll need to set 'data-container' to 'modal-two'.
<a href="#" data-toggle="tooltip" data-container="#modal-two"> Popover Two </a>
In my case, I had the variable named "AWS_PROFILE" on Environment variables with an old value.
Here's an example that puts the Now()
value in column A.
Sub move()
Dim i As Integer
Dim sh1 As Worksheet
Dim sh2 As Worksheet
Dim nextRow As Long
Dim copyRange As Range
Dim destRange As Range
Application.ScreenUpdating = False
Set sh1 = ActiveWorkbook.Worksheets("Sheet1")
Set sh2 = ActiveWorkbook.Worksheets("Sheet2")
Set copyRange = sh1.Range("A1:A5")
i = Application.WorksheetFunction.CountA(sh2.Range("B:B")) + 4
Set destRange = sh2.Range("B" & i)
destRange.Resize(1, copyRange.Rows.Count).Value = Application.Transpose(copyRange.Value)
destRange.Offset(0, -1).Value = Format(Now(), "MMM-DD-YYYY")
copyRange.Clear
Application.ScreenUpdating = True
End Sub
There are better ways of getting the last row in column B than using a While
loop, plenty of examples around here. Some are better than others but depend on what you're doing and what your worksheet structure looks like. I used one here which assumes that column B is ALL empty except the rows/records you're moving. If that's not the case, or if B1:B3
have some values in them, you'd need to modify or use another method. Or you could just use your loop, but I'd search for alternatives :)
The easiest way I have tested just add a <br>
as in the following:
<div class="col-sm-6">
<br><h3><p class="text-center">Some Text</p></h3>
</div>
The only problem is that a extra line break (generated by that <br>
) is generated when the screen gets smaller and it stacks. But it is quick and simple.
Simple Solution:
If the column names are similar:
df1.merge(df2,on='col_name').merge(df3,on='col_name')
If the column names are different:
df1.merge(df2,left_on='col_name1', right_on='col_name2').merge(df3,left_on='col_name1', right_on='col_name3').drop(columns=['col_name2', 'col_name3']).rename(columns={'col_name1':'col_name'})
This might be a bit late, but i also had the same issue. Converting to char was addressed in C++17 with the "charconv" library.
First parse the created_at field as Carbon object.
$createdAt = Carbon::parse($item['created_at']);
Then you can use
$suborder['payment_date'] = $createdAt->format('M d Y');
Favicons only work when served from a web-server which sets mime-types correctly for served content. Loading from a local file might not work in chromium. Loading from an incorrectly configured web-server will not work.
Web-servers such as lighthttpd must be configured manually to set the mime type correctly.
Because of the likelihood that mimetype assignment will not work in all environments, I would suggest you use an inline base64 encoded ico file instead. This will load faster as well, as it reduces the number of http requests sent to the server.
On POSIX based systems you can base64 encode a file with the base64
command.
To create a base64 encoded ico line use the command:
$ base64 favicon.ico --wrap 0
And insert the output into the line:
<link href="data:image/x-icon;base64,HERE" rel="icon" type="image/x-icon" />
Replacing the word HERE
like so:
<link href="data:image/x-icon;base64,AAABAAEAEBAQAAEABAAoAQAAFgAAACgAAAAQAAAAIAAAAAEABAAAAAAAgAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA////AERpOgA5cCcA7vDtAF6jSABllFcAuuCvAK2trQAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAFjMzMzMzNxARYzMzMzVBEEERYzMzNhERZxRGMzZxQEA2FER3cRSAgTNxgEEREIQBMzFIARERFEEzNhERARFAATMzYREBEAhBMzMzEYEBFEEzMzNhEQQRQDMzMzcRgEAAMzMzNhERgIEzMzMyERgEQDMzMzMRAEgEMzMzMxERAEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" rel="icon" type="image/x-icon" />
If you want multiple files, you can use this
var input = document.querySelector('input[type="file"]')
var data = new FormData()
for (const file of input.files) {
data.append('files',file,file.name)
}
fetch('/avatars', {
method: 'POST',
body: data
})
Give it a try :
public LatLng getLocation()
{
// Get the location manager
LocationManager locationManager = (LocationManager) getSystemService(LOCATION_SERVICE);
Criteria criteria = new Criteria();
String bestProvider = locationManager.getBestProvider(criteria, false);
Location location = locationManager.getLastKnownLocation(bestProvider);
Double lat,lon;
try {
lat = location.getLatitude ();
lon = location.getLongitude ();
return new LatLng(lat, lon);
}
catch (NullPointerException e){
e.printStackTrace();
return null;
}
}
I tried the solution below, it works on my machine.
<context:property-placeholder location="classpath*:connection.properties" ignore-unresolvable="true" order="1" />
<context:property-placeholder location="classpath*:general.properties" order="2"/>
In case multiple elements are present in the Spring context, there are a few best practices that should be followed:
the order attribute needs to be specified to fix the order in which these are processed by Spring all property placeholders minus the last one (highest order) should have
ignore-unresolvable=”true”
to allow the resolution mechanism to pass to others in the context without throwing an exception

You can close a figure by calling matplotlib.pyplot.close
, for example:
from numpy import *
import matplotlib.pyplot as plt
from scipy import *
t = linspace(0, 0.1,1000)
w = 60*2*pi
fig = plt.figure()
plt.plot(t,cos(w*t))
plt.plot(t,cos(w*t-2*pi/3))
plt.plot(t,cos(w*t-4*pi/3))
plt.show()
plt.close(fig)
You can also close all open figures by calling matplotlib.pyplot.close("all")

C:\Python\Scripts\pip.exe
Run pip, then it should show different pip run command options.

Instead of dealing with zones and change detection — let AsyncPipe handle complexity. This will put observable subscription, unsubscription (to prevent memory leaks) and changes detection on Angular shoulders.
Change your class to make an observable, that will emit results of new requests:
export class RecentDetectionComponent implements OnInit {
recentDetections$: Observable<Array<RecentDetection>>;
constructor(private recentDetectionService: RecentDetectionService) {
}
ngOnInit() {
this.recentDetections$ = Observable.interval(5000)
.exhaustMap(() => this.recentDetectionService.getJsonFromApi())
.do(recent => console.log(recent[0].macAddress));
}
}
And update your view to use AsyncPipe:
<tr *ngFor="let detected of recentDetections$ | async">
...
</tr>
Want to add, that it's better to make a service with a method that will take interval
argument, and:
exhaustMap
like in code above);I can see that this question was originally posted 5 yrs ago when programmers had to work harder to get their desired results. With Visual Studio 2012 and beyond, a lazy programmer can go the Design View for the Listview properties settings, and click on Properties->Sorting, choose Ascending. There are plenty of other properties features to obtain the various results a lazy (aka smart) programmer can leverage.

The Left join in this query is pointless:
UPDATE md SET md.status = '3'
FROM pd_mounting_details AS md
LEFT OUTER JOIN pd_order_ecolid AS oe ON md.order_data = oe.id
It would update all rows of pd_mounting_details
, whether or not a matching row exists in pd_order_ecolid
. If you wanted to only update matching rows, it should be an inner join.
If you want to apply some condition based on the join occurring or not, you need to add a WHERE
clause and/or a CASE
expression in your SET
clause.
The JAVA_HOME should point to the JDK home rather than the JRE home if you are going to be compiling stuff, likewise - I would try and install the JDK in a directory that doesn't include a space. Even if this is not your problem now, it can cause problems in the future!

For usages of Write-Host
, PSScriptAnalyzer
produces the following diagnostic:
Avoid using
Write-Host
because it might not work in all hosts, does not work when there is no host, and (prior to PS 5.0) cannot be suppressed, captured, or redirected. Instead, useWrite-Output
,Write-Verbose
, orWrite-Information
.
See the documentation behind that rule for more information. Excerpts for posterity:
The use of
Write-Host
is greatly discouraged unless in the use of commands with theShow
verb. TheShow
verb explicitly means "show on the screen, with no other possibilities".Commands with the
Show
verb do not have this check applied.
Jeffrey Snover has a blog post Write-Host Considered Harmful in which he claims Write-Host is almost always the wrong thing to do because it interferes with automation and provides more explanation behind the diagnostic, however the above is a good summary.

The [object message]
syntax is the normal way to call a method in objective-c. I think the @selector
syntax is used when the method to be called needs to be determined at run-time, but I don't know objective-c well enough to give you more information on that.
For me the confusion caused by
"str".__proto__ // #1
=> String
So "str" istanceof String
should return true
because how istanceof works as below:
"str".__proto__ == String.prototype // #2
=> true
Results of expression #1 and #2 conflict each other, so there should be one of them wrong.
#1 is wrong
I figure out that it caused by the __proto__
is non standard property, so use the standard one:Object.getPrototypeOf
Object.getPrototypeOf("str") // #3
=> TypeError: Object.getPrototypeOf called on non-object
Now there's no confusion between expression #2 and #3
Here's how to do this:

There are a lot of good answers here, but they're not all as straightforward as JXcore.
Once you have JXcore installed on windows, all you have to do is run:
jx package app.js "myAppName" -native
This will produce a .exe file that you can distribute and can be executed without any external dependencies whatsoever (you don't even need JXcore nor Node.js on the system).
Here's the documentation on that functionality: http://jxcore.com/packaging-code-protection/#cat-74
Edit 2018
That project is now dead but it is still hosted here: https://github.com/jxcore/jxcore-release (thanks @Elmue)

Servlet-mapping has two child tags, url-pattern and servlet-name. url-pattern specifies the type of urls for which, the servlet given in servlet-name should be called. Be aware that, the container will use case-sensitive for string comparisons for servlet matching.
First specification of url-pattern
a web.xml
file for the server context on the servlet container at server .com matches the pattern in <url-pattern>/status/*</url-pattern>
as follows:
http://server.com/server/status/synopsis = Matches
http://server.com/server/status/complete?date=today = Matches
http://server.com/server/status = Matches
http://server.com/server/server1/status = Does not match
Second specification of url-pattern
A context located at the path /examples on the Agent at example.com matches the pattern in <url-pattern>*.map</url-pattern>
as follows:
http://server.com/server/US/Oregon/Portland.map = Matches
http://server.com/server/US/server/Seattle.map = Matches
http://server.com/server/Paris.France.map = Matches
http://server.com/server/US/Oregon/Portland.MAP = Does not match, the extension is uppercase
http://example.com/examples/interface/description/mail.mapi =Does not match, the extension is mapi rather than map`
Third specification of url-mapping
,A mapping that contains the pattern <url-pattern>/</url-pattern>
matches a request if no other pattern matches. This is the default mapping. The servlet mapped to this pattern is called the default servlet.
The default mapping is often directed to the first page of an application. Explicitly providing a default mapping also ensures that malformed URL requests into the application return are handled by the application rather than returning an error.
The servlet-mapping element below maps the server
servlet instance to the default mapping.
<servlet-mapping>
<servlet-name>server</servlet-name>
<url-pattern>/</url-pattern>
</servlet-mapping>
For the context that contains this element, any request that is not handled by another mapping is forwarded to the server
servlet.
And Most importantly we should Know about Rule for URL path mapping
Reference URL Pattern
I think the best way is to compare with blank string
BenchmarkStringCheck1 is checking with blank string
BenchmarkStringCheck2 is checking with len zero
I check with the empty and non-empty string checking. You can see that checking with a blank string is faster.
BenchmarkStringCheck1-4 2000000000 0.29 ns/op 0 B/op 0 allocs/op
BenchmarkStringCheck1-4 2000000000 0.30 ns/op 0 B/op 0 allocs/op
BenchmarkStringCheck2-4 2000000000 0.30 ns/op 0 B/op 0 allocs/op
BenchmarkStringCheck2-4 2000000000 0.31 ns/op 0 B/op 0 allocs/op
Code
func BenchmarkStringCheck1(b *testing.B) {
s := "Hello"
b.ResetTimer()
for n := 0; n < b.N; n++ {
if s == "" {
}
}
}
func BenchmarkStringCheck2(b *testing.B) {
s := "Hello"
b.ResetTimer()
for n := 0; n < b.N; n++ {
if len(s) == 0 {
}
}
}
But you could make an own link for every from url.
Example: http://example.com?auth=holasite
In this example your site is: example.com
If somebody open that link it's give you the holasite value for the auth variable.
Then just $_GET['auth'] and you have the variable. But you should have a database to store it, and to authorize.
Like: $holasite = http://holasite.com (You could use mysql too..)
And just match it, and you have the url.
This method is a little bit more complicated, but it works. This method is good for a referral system authentication. But where is the site name, you should write an id, and works with that id.
There are a few things which new
does that malloc
doesn’t:
new
constructs the object by calling the constructor of that objectnew
doesn’t require typecasting of allocated memory.So, if you use malloc
, then you need to do above things explicitly, which is not always practical. Additionally, new
can be overloaded but malloc
can’t be.
Take a look at the JSONObject reference:
http://www.json.org/javadoc/org/json/JSONObject.html
Without actually using the object, it looks like using either getNames() or keys() which returns an Iterator is the way to go.
recently i've created this code for my client, i'm using array for cookie in this code, actually this code gets recently viewed pages by user using cookies, hope it helps you...!
function curPageURL() { // get url
return 'http' . ((

$_SERVER['HTTPS'] !== 'off' ||
$_SERVER['SERVER_PORT'] == 443
) ? 's' : '') . '://' . $_SERVER['SERVER_NAME'] . (
$_SERVER['SERVER_PORT'] == 80 ? '' : $_SERVER['SERVER_PORT']
) . $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'];
}
$currentPage = curPageURL(); // call function
$counter = $_COOKIE['_counter']; // set counter variable
if(!$_COOKIE['_PAGES']){ // if _Pages cookie
$default = 1; // set default value to 1
setcookie("_counter",$default,time()+7200); // set counter cookie
setcookie("_PAGES[$default]",$currentPage, time()+3600); // set cookie
}
else{ // if ! _Pages cookie
$default = $counter+1; // set default value to +1
setcookie("_counter",$default,time()+7200); // set counter cookie
}
if(@in_array($currentPage, @$_COOKIE['_PAGES'])){ // if same url found
}
else{ // if new url found
setcookie("_PAGES[$default]",$currentPage, time()+3600); // set cookie
}
if($_COOKIE['_PAGES']){
foreach ($_COOKIE['_PAGES'] as $value){

It's quite simple actually if you're using PostgreSQL, just use distinct(columns)
(documentation).
Productorder.objects.all().distinct('category')
Note that this feature has been included in Django since 1.4
private - encapsulations in class/scope/struct ect'.
internal - encapsulation in assemblies.
With PostgreSQL there are a number of date/time functions available, see here.
In your example, you could use:
SELECT * FROM myTable WHERE date_trunc('day', dt) = 'YYYY-MM-DD';
If you are running this query regularly, it is possible to create an index using the date_trunc
function as well:
CREATE INDEX date_trunc_dt_idx ON myTable ( date_trunc('day', dt) );
One advantage of this is there is some more flexibility with timezones if required, for example:
CREATE INDEX date_trunc_dt_idx ON myTable ( date_trunc('day', dt at time zone 'Australia/Sydney') );
SELECT * FROM myTable WHERE date_trunc('day', dt at time zone 'Australia/Sydney') = 'YYYY-MM-DD';
FWIW, most current browsers support the X-Frame-Options: deny directive, which works even when script is disabled.

What is the difference between iterators and generators? Some examples for when you would use each case would be helpful.
In summary: Iterators are objects that have an __iter__
and a __next__
(next
in Python 2) method. Generators provide an easy, built-in way to create instances of Iterators.
A function with yield in it is still a function, that, when called, returns an instance of a generator object:
def a_function():
"when called, returns generator object"
yield
A generator expression also returns a generator:
a_generator = (i for i in range(0))
For a more in-depth exposition and examples, keep reading.
Specifically, generator is a subtype of iterator.
>>> import collections, types
>>> issubclass(types.GeneratorType, collections.Iterator)
True
We can create a generator several ways. A very common and simple way to do so is with a function.
Specifically, a function with yield in it is a function, that, when called, returns a generator:
>>> def a_function():
"just a function definition with yield in it"
yield
>>> type(a_function)
<class 'function'>
>>> a_generator = a_function() # when called
>>> type(a_generator) # returns a generator
<class 'generator'>
And a generator, again, is an Iterator:
>>> isinstance(a_generator, collections.Iterator)
True
An Iterator is an Iterable,
>>> issubclass(collections.Iterator, collections.Iterable)
True
which requires an __iter__
method that returns an Iterator:
>>> collections.Iterable()
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<pyshell#79>", line 1, in <module>
collections.Iterable()
TypeError: Can't instantiate abstract class Iterable with abstract methods __iter__
Some examples of iterables are the built-in tuples, lists, dictionaries, sets, frozen sets, strings, byte strings, byte arrays, ranges and memoryviews:
>>> all(isinstance(element, collections.Iterable) for element in (
(), [], {}, set(), frozenset(), '', b'', bytearray(), range(0), memoryview(b'')))
True
next
or __next__
methodIn Python 2:
>>> collections.Iterator()
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<pyshell#80>", line 1, in <module>
collections.Iterator()
TypeError: Can't instantiate abstract class Iterator with abstract methods next
And in Python 3:
>>> collections.Iterator()
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>
TypeError: Can't instantiate abstract class Iterator with abstract methods __next__
We can get the iterators from the built-in objects (or custom objects) with the iter
function:
>>> all(isinstance(iter(element), collections.Iterator) for element in (
(), [], {}, set(), frozenset(), '', b'', bytearray(), range(0), memoryview(b'')))
True
The __iter__
method is called when you attempt to use an object with a for-loop. Then the __next__
method is called on the iterator object to get each item out for the loop. The iterator raises StopIteration
when you have exhausted it, and it cannot be reused at that point.
From the Generator Types section of the Iterator Types section of the Built-in Types documentation:
Python’s generators provide a convenient way to implement the iterator protocol. If a container object’s
__iter__()
method is implemented as a generator, it will automatically return an iterator object (technically, a generator object) supplying the__iter__()
andnext()
[__next__()
in Python 3] methods. More information about generators can be found in the documentation for the yield expression.
(Emphasis added.)
So from this we learn that Generators are a (convenient) type of Iterator.
You might create object that implements the Iterator protocol by creating or extending your own object.
class Yes(collections.Iterator):
def __init__(self, stop):
self.x = 0
self.stop = stop
def __iter__(self):
return self
def next(self):
if self.x < self.stop:
self.x += 1
return 'yes'
else:
# Iterators must raise when done, else considered broken
raise StopIteration
__next__ = next # Python 3 compatibility
But it's easier to simply use a Generator to do this:
def yes(stop):
for _ in range(stop):
yield 'yes'
Or perhaps simpler, a Generator Expression (works similarly to list comprehensions):
yes_expr = ('yes' for _ in range(stop))
They can all be used in the same way:
>>> stop = 4
>>> for i, y1, y2, y3 in zip(range(stop), Yes(stop), yes(stop),
('yes' for _ in range(stop))):
... print('{0}: {1} == {2} == {3}'.format(i, y1, y2, y3))
...
0: yes == yes == yes
1: yes == yes == yes
2: yes == yes == yes
3: yes == yes == yes
You can use the Iterator protocol directly when you need to extend a Python object as an object that can be iterated over.
However, in the vast majority of cases, you are best suited to use yield
to define a function that returns a Generator Iterator or consider Generator Expressions.
Finally, note that generators provide even more functionality as coroutines. I explain Generators, along with the yield
statement, in depth on my answer to "What does the “yield” keyword do?".
To color each cell based on its current integer value, the following should work, if you have a recent version of Excel. (Older versions don't handle rgb as well)
Sub Colourise()
'
' Colourise Macro
'
' Colours all selected cells, based on their current integer rgb value
' For e.g. (it's a bit backward from what you might expect)
' 255 = #ff0000 = red
' 256*255 = #00ff00 = green
' 256*256*255 #0000ff = blue
' 255 + 256*256*255 #ff00ff = magenta
' and so on...
'
' Keyboard Shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+C (or whatever you want to set it to)
'
For Each cell In Selection
If WorksheetFunction.IsNumber(cell) Then
cell.Interior.Color = cell.Value
End If
Next cell
End Sub
If instead of a number you have a string then you can split the string into three numbers and combine them using rgb().
Generally, Push method is used to add elements at the end of an array.
Here, you have used the push method to an object and not an array which is 'order'.
Steps to debug...
Change the object into an empty array,
var order = [], stack = [];
Now you can use the push method for this array as usual.
To use push method to this 'order' array; you should not use the array index when calling push method to an array. Just use the name of the array only.
var order = [], stack = [];
for(var i = 0; i<a.length; i++){
if(parseInt(a[i].daysleft) == 0){
order.push(a[i]);
}
if(parseInt(a[i].daysleft) > 0){
order.push(a[i]);
}
if(parseInt(a[i].daysleft) < 0){
order.push(a[i]);
}
}
To post a clarification answer here for those who get directed here by Google.
The document size includes everything in the document including the subdocuments, nested objects etc.
So a document of:
{
"_id": {},
"na": [1, 2, 3],
"naa": [
{ "w": 1, "v": 2, "b": [1, 2, 3] },
{ "w": 5, "b": 2, "h": [{ "d": 5, "g": 7 }, {}] }
]
}
Has a maximum size of 16 MB.
Subdocuments and nested objects are all counted towards the size of the document.
In JQuery:
$("#id option:selected").prop("selected", false);
$("#id").multiselect('refresh');
If you perhaps also want to eliminate all of the duplicates and keep only a single one of each
Change the formula =COUNTIF(A:A,A2)
to =COUNIF($A$2:A2,A2)
and drag the formula down.
Then autofilter for anything greater than 1 and you can delete them.
Dictionary can contain values and values can be added by using update() method. You want your system to create variables, so you should know where to keep.
variables = {}
break_condition= True # Dont forget to add break condition to while loop if you dont want your system to go crazy.
name = “variable”
i = 0
name = name + str(i) #this will be your variable name.
while True:
value = 10 #value to assign
variables.update(
{name:value})
if break_condition == True:
break
If you can live with 01 for January instead of 1, then try...
d = datetime.datetime.strptime("2013-1-25", '%Y-%m-%d')
print datetime.date.strftime(d, "%m/%d/%y")
You can check the docs for other formatting directives.
As simple as that.
var str = '{"id":1,"name":"Test1"},{"id":2,"name":"Test2"}';
dataObj = JSON.parse(str);
This seems like a job for Object.assign:
const output = Object.assign({}, ...params.map(p => ({[p.name]: p.input})));
Edited to wrap as a function similar to OP's, this would be:
const toHash = (array, keyName, valueName) =>
Object.assign({}, ...array.map(o => ({[o[keyName]]: o[valueName]})));
(Thanks to Ben Steward, good thinking...)
In short, they are equivalent. Let's have a history view:
(1) at first, the function looks like this.
class MySubClass(MySuperClass):
def __init__(self):
MySuperClass.__init__(self)
(2) to make code more abstract (and more portable). A common method to get Super-Class is invented like:
super(<class>, <instance>)
And init function can be:
class MySubClassBetter(MySuperClass):
def __init__(self):
super(MySubClassBetter, self).__init__()
However requiring an explicit passing of both the class and instance break the DRY (Don't Repeat Yourself) rule a bit.
(3) in V3. It is more smart,
super()
is enough in most case. You can refer to http://www.python.org/dev/peps/pep-3135/
zsh has a builtin command emulate
which can emulate different shells by setting the appropriate options, although csh will never be fully emulated.
emulate bash
perform commands
emulate -R zsh
The -R flag restores all the options to their default values for that shell.
See: zsh manual
You can resave the image and literally find the src file of your project and add it to that when you save. For me I had to go to netbeans and found my project and when that comes up it had 3 files src was the last. Don't click on any of them just save your pic there. That should work. Now resizing it may be a different issue and one I'm working on now lol
if for some reason you need to add via code, you can use this:
mTextView.setCompoundDrawablesWithIntrinsicBounds(left, top, right, bottom);
where left, top, right bottom are Drawables
I think it is better to copy files from your local computer, because if files number or file size is very big, copying process could be interrupted if your current ssh session would be lost (broken pipe or whatever).
If you have configured ssh key to connect to your remote server, you could use the following command:
rsync -avP -e "ssh -i /home/local_user/ssh/key_to_access_remote_server.pem" remote_user@remote_host.ip:/home/remote_user/file.gz /home/local_user/Downloads/
Where v
option is --verbose
, a
option is --archive
- archive mode, P
option same as --partial
- keep partially transferred files, e
option is --rsh=COMMAND
- specifying the remote shell to use.

Demo link: https://github.com/RazvanSebastian/spring_multiple_log_files_demo.git
My solution is based on XML configuration using spring-boot-starter-log4j
. The example is a basic example using spring-boot-starter
and the two Loggers writes into different log files.
Here's another way to do this:
- name: my command
command: echo stuff
when: "'groupname' not in group_names"
group_names
is a magic variable as documented here: https://docs.ansible.com/ansible/latest/user_guide/playbooks_variables.html#accessing-information-about-other-hosts-with-magic-variables :
group_names is a list (array) of all the groups the current host is in.
Classes are objects with attributes (state, characteristic) and methods (functions, capacities) that are specific for that object (like the white color and fly powers, respectively, for a duck).
When you create an instance of a class, you can give it some initial personality (state or character like the name and the color of her dress for a newborn). You do this with __init__
.
Basically __init__
sets the instance characteristics automatically when you call instance = MyClass(some_individual_traits)
.
file_get_contents(php://input) - gets the raw POST data and you need to use this when you write APIs and need XML/JSON/... input that cannot be decoded to $_POST by PHP some example :
send by post JSON string
<input type="button" value= "click" onclick="fn()">
<script>
function fn(){
var js_obj = {plugin: 'jquery-json', version: 2.3};
var encoded = JSON.stringify( js_obj );
var data= encoded
$.ajax({
type: "POST",
url: '1.php',
data: data,
success: function(data){
console.log(data);
}
});
}
</script>
1.php
//print_r($_POST); //empty!!! don't work ...
var_dump( file_get_contents('php://input'));
I tried the solutions here, and as? [String:AnyObject] worked for me:
do{
if let json = stringToParse.data(using: String.Encoding.utf8){
if let jsonData = try JSONSerialization.jsonObject(with: json, options: .allowFragments) as? [String:AnyObject]{
let id = jsonData["id"] as! String
...
}
}
}catch {
print(error.localizedDescription)
}
Simply use the .rules('add')
method immediately after creating the element...
var filenumber = 1;
$("#AddFile").click(function () { //User clicks button #AddFile
// create the new input element
$('<li><input type="file" name="FileUpload' + filenumber + '" id="FileUpload' + filenumber + '" /> <a href="#" class="RemoveFileUpload">Remove</a></li>').prependTo("#FileUploader");
// declare the rule on this newly created input field
$('#FileUpload' + filenumber).rules('add', {
required: true, // <- with this you would not need 'required' attribute on input
accept: "image/jpeg, image/pjpeg"
});
filenumber++; // increment counter for next time
return false;
});
You'll still need to use .validate()
to initialize the plugin within a DOM ready handler.
You'll still need to declare rules for your static elements using .validate()
. Whatever input elements that are part of the form when the page loads... declare their rules within .validate()
.
You don't need to use .each()
, when you're only targeting ONE element with the jQuery selector attached to .rules()
.
You don't need the required
attribute on your input element when you're declaring the required
rule using .validate()
or .rules('add')
. For whatever reason, if you still want the HTML5 attribute, at least use a proper format like required="required"
.
Working DEMO: http://jsfiddle.net/8dAU8/5/
CultureInfo.CurrentCulture.DateTimeFormat.GetMonthName(
Convert.ToInt32(e.Row.Cells[7].Text.Substring(3,2))).Substring(0,3)
+ "-"
+ Convert.ToDateTime(e.Row.Cells[7].Text).ToString("yyyy");
Basically, fs.readFileSync
throws an error when a file is not found. This error is from the Error
prototype and thrown using throw
, hence the only way to catch is with a try / catch
block:
var fileContents;
try {
fileContents = fs.readFileSync('foo.bar');
} catch (err) {
// Here you get the error when the file was not found,
// but you also get any other error
}
Unfortunately you can not detect which error has been thrown just by looking at its prototype chain:
if (err instanceof Error)
is the best you can do, and this will be true for most (if not all) errors. Hence I'd suggest you go with the code
property and check its value:
if (err.code === 'ENOENT') {
console.log('File not found!');
} else {
throw err;
}
This way, you deal only with this specific error and re-throw all other errors.
Alternatively, you can also access the error's message
property to verify the detailed error message, which in this case is:
ENOENT, no such file or directory 'foo.bar'
Hope this helps.
I had this same question, and found some info in my searches (your question came up as one of the results). Here's what I determined...
There are two sides to the Cache-Control
header. One side is where it can be sent by the web server (aka. "origin server"). The other side is where it can be sent by the browser (aka. "user agent").
I believe max-age=0
simply tells caches (and user agents) the response is stale from the get-go and so they SHOULD revalidate the response (eg. with the If-Not-Modified
header) before using a cached copy, whereas, no-cache
tells them they MUST revalidate before using a cached copy. From 14.9.1 What is Cacheable:
no-cache
...a cache MUST NOT use the response to satisfy a subsequent request without successful revalidation with the origin server. This allows an origin server to prevent caching even by caches that have been configured to return stale responses to client requests.
In other words, caches may sometimes choose to use a stale response (although I believe they have to then add a Warning
header), but no-cache
says they're not allowed to use a stale response no matter what. Maybe you'd want the SHOULD-revalidate behavior when baseball stats are generated in a page, but you'd want the MUST-revalidate behavior when you've generated the response to an e-commerce purchase.
Although you're correct in your comment when you say no-cache
is not supposed to prevent storage, it might actually be another difference when using no-cache
. I came across a page, Cache Control Directives Demystified, that says (I can't vouch for its correctness):
In practice, IE and Firefox have started treating the no-cache directive as if it instructs the browser not to even cache the page. We started observing this behavior about a year ago. We suspect that this change was prompted by the widespread (and incorrect) use of this directive to prevent caching.
...
Notice that of late, "cache-control: no-cache" has also started behaving like the "no-store" directive.
As an aside, it appears to me that Cache-Control: max-age=0, must-revalidate
should basically mean the same thing as Cache-Control: no-cache
. So maybe that's a way to get the MUST-revalidate behavior of no-cache
, while avoiding the apparent migration of no-cache
to doing the same thing as no-store
(ie. no caching whatsoever)?
I believe shahkalpesh's answer applies to the user agent side. You can also look at 13.2.6 Disambiguating Multiple Responses.
If a user agent sends a request with Cache-Control: max-age=0
(aka. "end-to-end revalidation"), then each cache along the way will revalidate its cache entry (eg. with the If-Not-Modified
header) all the way to the origin server. If the reply is then 304 (Not Modified), the cached entity can be used.
On the other hand, sending a request with Cache-Control: no-cache
(aka. "end-to-end reload") doesn't revalidate and the server MUST NOT use a cached copy when responding.
For anyone using Assets.xcassets and Swift 3, it'd be like this (no need for .png)
let buttonDone = UIButton(type: .Custom)
if let image = UIImage(named: "Done") {
self.buttonDone.setImage(image, for: .normal)
}
Methods are object methods or class methods.
Object methods: it applies over an object. You have to use an instance:
instance.method(args...);
Class methods: it applies over a class. It doesn't have an implicit instance. You have to use the class itself. It's more like procedural programming.
ClassWithStaticMethod.method(args...);
Reflection
With reflection you have an API to programmatically access methods, be they object or class methods.
Instance methods: methodRef.invoke(instance, args...);
Class methods: methodRef.invoke(null, args...);
If you're on Linux and are using a VIm version 7.3.74 or higher (the version that gets installed in Ubuntu 11.10 onwards satisfies this), you can do
set clipboard=unnamedplus
which will place yanked text into the global clipboard, and allow you to paste from the global clipboard, without having to use any special registers. Unlike ldigas's solution, this will also work on non-gui versions of VIm.
Why don't you build a DataTable
first then assign it to the DataGridView
as DataSource
:
DataTable table4DataSource=new DataTable();
table4DataSource.Columns.Add("col00");
table4DataSource.Columns.Add("col01");
table4DataSource.Columns.Add("col02");
...
(add your rows, manually, in a circle or via a DataReader
from a database table)
(assign the datasource)
dtGrdViewGrid.DataSource = table4DataSource;
and then use:
(dtGrdViewGrid.DataSource as DataTable).DefaultView.RowFilter = "col00 = '" + textBoxSearch.Text+ "'";
dtGrdViewGrid.Refresh();
You can even put this piece of code within your textbox_textchange
event and your filtered values will be showing as you write.
If you put an asterisk in for build and revision visual studio uses the number of days since Jan. 1st 2000 as the build number, and the number of seconds since midnight divided by 2 as the revision.
A MUCH better life saver solution is http://autobuildversion.codeplex.com/
It works like a charm and it's VERY flexible.
I had the same problem minutes ago. I've mentioned changing the 'deployment target' fixed my problem.
http://code.google.com/p/google-api-javascript-client/wiki/Authentication
See the area where it reads:
Setting up Authentication
The client's implementation of OAuth 2.0 uses a popup window to prompt the user to sign-in and approve the application. The first call to gapi.auth.authorize can trigger popup blockers, as it opens the popup window indirectly. To prevent the popup blocker from triggering on auth calls, call gapi.auth.init(callback) when the client loads. The supplied callback will be executed when the library is ready to make auth calls.
I would guess its relating to the real answer above in how it explains if there is an immediate response, it won't trip the popup alarm. The "gapi.auth.init" is making it so the api happens immediately.
Practical Application
I made an open source authentication microservice using node passport on npm and the various passport packages for each provider. I used a standard redirect approach to the 3rd party giving it a redirect URL to come back to. This was programmatic so I could have different places to redirect back to if login/signup and on particular pages.
This is now no longer needed for Java 9, nor for any recent release of Java 6, 7, or 8. Finally! :)
Per JDK-8170157, the unlimited cryptographic policy is now enabled by default.
Specific versions from the JIRA issue:
Note that if for some odd reason the old behavior is needed in Java 9, it can be set using:
Security.setProperty("crypto.policy", "limited");
For HTML / PHP / JSP / JSPF: Web -> HTML Files -> Editor -> Line width
c:
int roundUp(int numToRound, int multiple)
{
return (multiple ? (((numToRound+multiple-1) / multiple) * multiple) : numToRound);
}
and for your ~/.bashrc:
roundup()
{
echo $(( ${2} ? ((${1}+${2}-1)/${2})*${2} : ${1} ))
}
I have a way to do it very simply, and I'd like to share it.
When I want to square mi TextViews, I just put them in a LinearLayout. I set the background color of my LinearLayout, and I add a margin to my TextView. The result is exactly as if you square the TextView.
If you are using jackson you can easily achieve this with configuring a SerializationFeature
in your ObjectMapper
:
com.fasterxml.jackson.databind.ObjectMapper mapper = new ObjectMapper();
mapper.configure(SerializationFeature.INDENT_OUTPUT, true);
mapper.writeValueAsString(<yourObject>);
Thats it.
This should work for you:
let example = $('#example').DataTable({
columnDefs: [{
orderable: false,
className: 'select-checkbox',
targets: 0
}],
select: {
style: 'os',
selector: 'td:first-child'
},
order: [
[1, 'asc']
]
});
example.on("click", "th.select-checkbox", function() {
if ($("th.select-checkbox").hasClass("selected")) {
example.rows().deselect();
$("th.select-checkbox").removeClass("selected");
} else {
example.rows().select();
$("th.select-checkbox").addClass("selected");
}
}).on("select deselect", function() {
("Some selection or deselection going on")
if (example.rows({
selected: true
}).count() !== example.rows().count()) {
$("th.select-checkbox").removeClass("selected");
} else {
$("th.select-checkbox").addClass("selected");
}
});
I've added to the CSS though:
table.dataTable tr th.select-checkbox.selected::after {
content: "?";
margin-top: -11px;
margin-left: -4px;
text-align: center;
text-shadow: rgb(176, 190, 217) 1px 1px, rgb(176, 190, 217) -1px -1px, rgb(176, 190, 217) 1px -1px, rgb(176, 190, 217) -1px 1px;
}
Working JSFiddle, hope that helps.
As mentioned in other answers, the canonical typical usage of instanceof
is for checking if an identifier is referring to a more specific type. Example:
Object someobject = ... some code which gets something that might be a button ...
if (someobject instanceof Button) {
// then if someobject is in fact a button this block gets executed
} else {
// otherwise execute this block
}
Note however, that the type of the left-hand expression must be a parent type of the right hand expression (see JLS 15.20.2 and Java Puzzlers, #50, pp114). For example, the following will fail to compile:
public class Test {
public static void main(String [] args) {
System.out.println(new Test() instanceof String); // will fail to compile
}
}
This fails to compile with the message:
Test.java:6: error: inconvertible types
System.out.println(t instanceof String);
^
required: String
found: Test
1 error
As Test
is not a parent class of String
. OTOH, this compiles perfectly and prints false
as expected:
public class Test {
public static void main(String [] args) {
Object t = new Test();
// compiles fine since Object is a parent class to String
System.out.println(t instanceof String);
}
}
In html file:
<a [fragment]="test1" [routerLink]="['./']">Go to Test 1 section</a>
<section id="test1">...</section>
<section id="test2">...</section>
In ts file:
export class PageComponent implements AfterViewInit, OnDestroy {
private destroy$$ = new Subject();
private fragment$$ = new BehaviorSubject<string | null>(null);
private fragment$ = this.fragment$$.asObservable();
constructor(private route: ActivatedRoute) {
this.route.fragment.pipe(takeUntil(this.destroy$$)).subscribe(fragment => {
this.fragment$$.next(fragment);
});
}
public ngAfterViewInit(): void {
this.fragment$.pipe(takeUntil(this.destroy$$)).subscribe(fragment => {
if (!!fragment) {
document.querySelector('#' + fragment).scrollIntoView();
}
});
}
public ngOnDestroy(): void {
this.destroy$$.next();
this.destroy$$.complete();
}
}
I would add the following:
Understand how different attack vectors work:
You can easily google for all of this. This will give you a good foundation. If you want to see web app vulnerabilities, there's a project called google gruyere that shows you how to exploit a working web app.
If you're trying to do interpolation for microtemplating, I like Mustache.js for that purpose.

Below image is the answer. Don't take it too complex.
Double underscore. That mangles the name. The variable can still be accessed, but it's generally a bad idea to do so.
Use single underscores for semi-private (tells python developers "only change this if you absolutely must") and doubles for fully private.
The same thing i have applied in angular 5.
i created a new string for storing placeholder
newPlaceholder:string;
then i have used focus and blur functions on input box(i am using prime ng autocomplete).
Above placeholder is being set from typescript
Two functions i am using -
/* Event fired on focus to textbox*/
Focus(data) {
this.newPlaceholder = data.target.placeholder;
this.placeholder = '';
}
/* Event fired on mouse out*/
Blur(data) {
this.placeholder = this.newPlaceholder;
}
If it suits anyone, here are some brief guidelines for adding environment variables permanently.
vi ~/.bash_profile
Add the variables to the file:
export DISPLAY=:0
export JAVA_HOME=~/opt/openjdk11
Immediately apply all changes:
source ~/.bash_profile
Because userString is empty. You only declare it
vector<string> userString;
but never add anything, so the for loop won't even run.
I had the same error. Only occurred after moving from my normal work PC to a PC at a different location.
I had to add my public IP ho address to Remote MySQL in my CPanel at my host site
Your visual basic code would look something like this:
Dim cmd as New SqlCommand("SELECT * FROM compliance_corner WHERE (body LIKE '%' + @query + '%') OR (title LIKE '%' + @query + '%')")
cmd.Parameters.Add("@query", searchString)
I also had this issue and it arose because I re-made the project and then forgot to re-link it by reference in a dependent project.
Thus it was linking by reference to the old project instead of the new one.
It is important to know that there is a bug in re-adding a previously linked project by reference. You've got to manually delete the reference in the vcxproj and only then can you re-add it. This is a known issue in Visual studio according to msdn.
div.noWrap {
display: inline;
}
Environment.NewLine
is the most ".NET" way of getting the character, it will also emit a carriage return and line feed on Windows and just a carriage return in Unix if this is a concern for you.
However, you can also use the VB6 style vbCrLf
or vbCr
, giving a carriage return and line feed or just a carriage return respectively.
Make use of using the Color and Backcolor Properties to write Expressions for your query. Add the following to the expression option for the color property that you want to cater for)
Example
=iif(fields!column.value = "Approved", "Green","<other color>")
iif
needs 3 values, first the relating Column, then the second is to handle the True and the third is to handle the False for the iif
statement
Also you can have two versions of maven installed, and edit one of them, editing here:
mvn(non-windows)/mvn.bat/mvn.cmd(windows)
replacing your %java_home% appearances to your java desired path. Then just execute maven from that modified path
Try this set of code to download a CSV file from the server.
byte[] Content= File.ReadAllBytes(FilePath); //missing ;
Response.ContentType = "text/csv";
Response.AddHeader("content-disposition", "attachment; filename=" + fileName + ".csv");
Response.BufferOutput = true;
Response.OutputStream.Write(Content, 0, Content.Length);
Response.End();
If your requirements are to have no duplicates, you should be using a HashSet.
HashSet.Add will return false when the item already exists (if that even matters to you).
You can use the constructor that @pstrjds links to below (or here) to define the equality operator or you'll need to implement the equality methods in RemoteDevice
(GetHashCode
& Equals
).
The array creation syntaxes in C# that are expressions are:
new int[3]
new int[3] { 10, 20, 30 }
new int[] { 10, 20, 30 }
new[] { 10, 20, 30 }
In the first one, the size may be any non-negative integral value and the array elements are initialized to the default values.
In the second one, the size must be a constant and the number of elements given must match. There must be an implicit conversion from the given elements to the given array element type.
In the third one, the elements must be implicitly convertible to the element type, and the size is determined from the number of elements given.
In the fourth one the type of the array element is inferred by computing the best type, if there is one, of all the given elements that have types. All the elements must be implicitly convertible to that type. The size is determined from the number of elements given. This syntax was introduced in C# 3.0.
There is also a syntax which may only be used in a declaration:
int[] x = { 10, 20, 30 };
The elements must be implicitly convertible to the element type. The size is determined from the number of elements given.
there isn't an all-in-one guide
I refer you to C# 4.0 specification, section 7.6.10.4 "Array Creation Expressions".
You use class media.FaceDetector in android to detect face for free.
This is an example of face detection: https://github.com/betri28/FaceDetectCamera
Yet Another Option:
>>> [re.split(r'(\d+)', s) for s in ('foofo21', 'bar432', 'foobar12345')]
[['foofo', '21', ''], ['bar', '432', ''], ['foobar', '12345', '']]
You can see if it's really not set. Run the command set | grep TERM
.
If not, you can set it like that:
export TERM=xterm
Just note that if you are going to use any of the above working queries to script your indexes, you need to incorporate filter_definition column from sys.indexes table in your queries to get the filter definition of non-clustered indexes in SQL 2008+

It would be nice if there were some way of turning off "throw on non-success code" but if you catch WebException you can at least use the response:
using System;
using System.IO;
using System.Web;
using System.Net;
public class Test
{
static void Main()
{
WebRequest request = WebRequest.Create("http://csharpindepth.com/asd");
try
{
using (WebResponse response = request.GetResponse())
{
Console.WriteLine("Won't get here");
}
}
catch (WebException e)
{
using (WebResponse response = e.Response)
{
HttpWebResponse httpResponse = (HttpWebResponse) response;
Console.WriteLine("Error code: {0}", httpResponse.StatusCode);
using (Stream data = response.GetResponseStream())
using (var reader = new StreamReader(data))
{
string text = reader.ReadToEnd();
Console.WriteLine(text);
}
}
}
}
}
You might like to encapsulate the "get me a response even if it's not a success code" bit in a separate method. (I'd suggest you still throw if there isn't a response, e.g. if you couldn't connect.)
If the error response may be large (which is unusual) you may want to tweak HttpWebRequest.DefaultMaximumErrorResponseLength
to make sure you get the whole error.
I use NPOI for all my Excel needs.
Comes with a solution of examples for many common Excel tasks.
Let's say you have a shiny Foo class. Well you have 3 options:
1) You want to use the method (or attribute) of a class inside the definition of that class:
class Foo(object):
attribute1 = 1 # class attribute (those don't use 'self' in declaration)
def __init__(self):
self.attribute2 = 2 # instance attribute (those are accessible via first
# parameter of the method, usually called 'self'
# which will contain nothing but the instance itself)
def set_attribute3(self, value):
self.attribute3 = value
def sum_1and2(self):
return self.attribute1 + self.attribute2
2) You want to use the method (or attribute) of a class outside the definition of that class
def get_legendary_attribute1():
return Foo.attribute1
def get_legendary_attribute2():
return Foo.attribute2
def get_legendary_attribute1_from(cls):
return cls.attribute1
get_legendary_attribute1() # >>> 1
get_legendary_attribute2() # >>> AttributeError: type object 'Foo' has no attribute 'attribute2'
get_legendary_attribute1_from(Foo) # >>> 1
3) You want to use the method (or attribute) of an instantiated class:
f = Foo()
f.attribute1 # >>> 1
f.attribute2 # >>> 2
f.attribute3 # >>> AttributeError: 'Foo' object has no attribute 'attribute3'
f.set_attribute3(3)
f.attribute3 # >>> 3
Too late to the party I guess but I wanted to paste the fix for fellow wanderers like myself! So the following worked out for me on Python 3.7.x
Type the following in your terminal
pip install --upgrade certifi # hold your breath..
Try running your script/requests again and see if it works (I'm sure it won't be fixed yet!). If it didn't work then try running the following command in the terminal directly
open /Applications/Python\ 3.6/Install\ Certificates.command # please replace 3.6 here with your suitable python version
You can try this way -
ObjectAnimator.ofFloat(view, "translationX", 100f).apply {
duration = 2000
start()
}
Note - view is your view where you want animation.
Both syntaxes are correct. But the result would be Array
. You probably want to do something like this:
foreach ($tmpArray[1] as $value) {
echo $value[0];
foreach($value[1] as $val){
echo $val;
}
}
This will print out the string "two" ($value[0]) and the integers 4, 5 and 6 from the array ($value[1]).
May I redefine you question as below
Can we have our own back-end to send push notification to Chrome, Firefox, Opera & Safari?
Yes. By today (2017/05), you can use same client and server side implementation to handle Chrome, Firefox and Opera (no Safari). Because they have implemented web push notifications in a same way. That is Push API protocol by W3C. But Safari have their own old architecture. So we have to maintain Safari separately.
Refer browser-push repo for guide lines to implement web push notification for your web-app with your own back-end. It explains with examples how you can add web push notification support for your web application without any third party services.
backbone.js is Model-View-Controller (MVC) with JavaScript but Extjs better than backbone for MVC Pattern by java script
With backbone you got freedom to do almost anything you wish for. Rather than trying to fork through the api and customize I would use Backbonejs for it's simplicity and ease of implementation. Again it is hard to say what you require out of the two one is a library another a component
It´s eaiser to implement an random function on the enum.
public enum Via {
A, B;
public static Via viaAleatoria(){
Via[] vias = Via.values();
Random generator = new Random();
return vias[generator.nextInt(vias.length)];
}
}
and then you call it from the class you need it like this
public class Guardia{
private Via viaActiva;
public Guardia(){
viaActiva = Via.viaAleatoria();
}
I prefer ^[-+]?([1-9]\d*|0)$
because ^[-+]?[0-9]+$
allows the string starting with 0
.
RE_INT = re.compile(r'^[-+]?([1-9]\d*|0)$')
class TestRE(unittest.TestCase):
def test_int(self):
self.assertFalse(RE_INT.match('+'))
self.assertFalse(RE_INT.match('-'))
self.assertTrue(RE_INT.match('1'))
self.assertTrue(RE_INT.match('+1'))
self.assertTrue(RE_INT.match('-1'))
self.assertTrue(RE_INT.match('0'))
self.assertTrue(RE_INT.match('+0'))
self.assertTrue(RE_INT.match('-0'))
self.assertTrue(RE_INT.match('11'))
self.assertFalse(RE_INT.match('00'))
self.assertFalse(RE_INT.match('01'))
self.assertTrue(RE_INT.match('+11'))
self.assertFalse(RE_INT.match('+00'))
self.assertFalse(RE_INT.match('+01'))
self.assertTrue(RE_INT.match('-11'))
self.assertFalse(RE_INT.match('-00'))
self.assertFalse(RE_INT.match('-01'))
self.assertTrue(RE_INT.match('1234567890'))
self.assertTrue(RE_INT.match('+1234567890'))
self.assertTrue(RE_INT.match('-1234567890'))

Your model is @Messages
, change it to @message
.
To change it like you should use migration:
def change rename_table :old_table_name, :new_table_name end
Of course do not create that file by hand but use rails generator:
rails g migration ChangeMessagesToMessage
That will generate new file with proper timestamp in name in 'db
dir. Then run:
rake db:migrate
And your app should be fine since then.
Your module is not yet loaded by the Angular Server in node
ng serve
, so restart your server so the server loads the module that you just added in @NgModule app.module.ts
To check for the existence of a directory using Dir
, you need to specify vbDirectory
as the second argument, as in something like:
If Dir("C:\2013 Recieved Schedules" & "\" & client, vbDirectory) = "" Then
Note that, with vbDirectory
, Dir
will return a non-empty string if the specified path already exists as a directory or as a file (provided the file doesn't have any of the read-only, hidden, or system attributes). You could use GetAttr
to be certain it's a directory and not a file.
The accepted answer from Konstantin worked, but there were a few additional steps. After restarting Eclipse, you still have to go into software updates, find your newly available software, check the box(es) for it, and click the "install" button. Then it'll prompt you to restart again and only then will you see your new views or functionality.
Additionally, you can check the "Error Log" view for any problems with your new plugin that eclipse is complaining about.
this will work ,simple and easy
`<form method="POST">
<input type="submit" onclick="myFunction()" class="save" value="send" name="send" id="send" style="width:20%;">
</form>
<script language ="javascript" >
function myFunction() {
setInterval(function() {document.getElementById("send").click();}, 10000);
}
</script>

tl;dr;
mylist.clear() # Added in Python 3.3
del mylist[:]
are probably the best ways to do this. The rest of this answer tries to explain why some of your other efforts didn't work.
cpython at least works on reference counting to determine when objects will be deleted. Here you have multiple references to the same objects. a
refers to the same object that c[0]
references. When you loop over c
(for i in c:
), at some point i
also refers to that same object. the del
keyword removes a single reference, so:
for i in c:
del i
creates a reference to an object in c
and then deletes that reference -- but the object still has other references (one stored in c
for example) so it will persist.
In the same way:
def kill(self):
del self
only deletes a reference to the object in that method. One way to remove all the references from a list is to use slice assignment:
mylist = list(range(10000))
mylist[:] = []
print(mylist)
Apparently you can also delete the slice to remove objects in place:
del mylist[:] #This will implicitly call the `__delslice__` or `__delitem__` method.
This will remove all the references from mylist
and also remove the references from anything that refers to mylist
. Compared that to simply deleting the list -- e.g.
mylist = list(range(10000))
b = mylist
del mylist
#here we didn't get all the references to the objects we created ...
print(b) #[0, 1, 2, 3, 4, ...]
Finally, more recent python revisions have added a clear
method which does the same thing that del mylist[:]
does.
mylist = [1, 2, 3]
mylist.clear()
print(mylist)
Using ASP.NET Core 2.0 will automatically add the IConfiguration
instance of your application in the dependency injection container. This also works in conjunction with ConfigureAppConfiguration
on the WebHostBuilder
.
For example:
public static void Main(string[] args)
{
var host = WebHost.CreateDefaultBuilder(args)
.ConfigureAppConfiguration(builder =>
{
builder.AddIniFile("foo.ini");
})
.UseStartup<Startup>()
.Build();
host.Run();
}
It's just as easy as adding the IConfiguration
instance to the service collection as a singleton object in ConfigureServices
:
public void ConfigureServices(IServiceCollection services)
{
services.AddSingleton<IConfiguration>(Configuration);
// ...
}
Where Configuration
is the instance in your Startup
class.
This allows you to inject IConfiguration
in any controller or service:
public class HomeController
{
public HomeController(IConfiguration configuration)
{
// Use IConfiguration instance
}
}
Here is a query for showing all databases in one Sql engine
Select * from Sys.Databases

java -cp C:/.../jardir1/*;C:/.../jardir2/* class_with_main_method
make sure that the class with the main function is in one of the included jars
If you use interface
you can extends CrudRepository<Applicant,Long>
with @Repository
annotation.
Also, in some cases is important to check the target folder permissions. To give write permission for the user might be the solution. That worked for me.
You can Try this ,
Here you can get the date based on the Client Timezone (Browser).
moment(new Date().getTime()).zone(new Date().toString().match(/([-\+][0-9]+)\s/)[1]).format('YYYY-MM-DD HH:mm:ss')
The regex basically gets you the offset value.
Cheers!!
First, verify that the mod_rewrite module is installed. Then, be careful to understand how it works, many people get it backwards.
You don't hide urls or extensions. What you do is create a NEW url that directs to the old one, for example
The URL to put on your web site will be yoursite.com/play?m=asdf
or better yet
yoursite.com/asdf
Even though the directory asdf doesn't exist. Then with mod_rewrite installed you put this in .htaccess. Basically it says, if the requested URL is NOT a file and is NOT a directory, direct it to my script:
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /play.php [L]
Almost done - now you just have to write some stuff into your PHP script to parse out the new URL. You want to do this so that the OLD ones work too - what you do is maintain a system by which the variable is always exactly the same OR create a database table that correlates the "SEO friendly URL" with the product id. An example might be
/Some-Cool-Video (which equals product ID asdf)
The advantage to this? Search engines will index the keywords "Some Cool Video." asdf? Who's going to search for that?
I can't give you specifics of how to program this, but take the query string, strip off the end
yoursite.com/Some-Cool-Video
turns into "asdf"
Then set the m variable to this
m=asdf
So both URL's will still go to the same product
yoursite.com/play.php?m=asdf
yoursite.com/Some-Cool-Video
mod_rewrite can do lots of other important stuff too, Google for it and get it activated on your server (it's probably already installed.)
A simpler but equally effective option would be:
+ theme_bw(base_size=X)
It is the directory from where you start the batch file. E.g. if your batch is in c:\dir1\dir2
and you do cd c:\dir3
, then run the batch, the current directory will be c:\dir3
.
[Ljava.lang.Object;
is the name for Object[].class
, the java.lang.Class
representing the class of array of Object
.
The naming scheme is documented in Class.getName()
:
If this class object represents a reference type that is not an array type then the binary name of the class is returned, as specified by the Java Language Specification (§13.1).
If this class object represents a primitive type or
void
, then the name returned is the Java language keyword corresponding to the primitive type orvoid
.If this class object represents a class of arrays, then the internal form of the name consists of the name of the element type preceded by one or more
'['
characters representing the depth of the array nesting. The encoding of element type names is as follows:Element Type Encoding boolean Z byte B char C double D float F int I long J short S class or interface Lclassname;
Yours is the last on that list. Here are some examples:
// xxxxx varies
System.out.println(new int[0][0][7]); // [[[I@xxxxx
System.out.println(new String[4][2]); // [[Ljava.lang.String;@xxxxx
System.out.println(new boolean[256]); // [Z@xxxxx
The reason why the toString()
method on arrays returns String
in this format is because arrays do not @Override
the method inherited from Object
, which is specified as follows:
The
toString
method for classObject
returns a string consisting of the name of the class of which the object is an instance, the at-sign character `@', and the unsigned hexadecimal representation of the hash code of the object. In other words, this method returns a string equal to the value of:getClass().getName() + '@' + Integer.toHexString(hashCode())
Note: you can not rely on the toString()
of any arbitrary object to follow the above specification, since they can (and usually do) @Override
it to return something else. The more reliable way of inspecting the type of an arbitrary object is to invoke getClass()
on it (a final
method inherited from Object
) and then reflecting on the returned Class
object. Ideally, though, the API should've been designed such that reflection is not necessary (see Effective Java 2nd Edition, Item 53: Prefer interfaces to reflection).
toString
for arraysjava.util.Arrays
provides toString
overloads for primitive arrays and Object[]
. There is also deepToString
that you may want to use for nested arrays.
Here are some examples:
int[] nums = { 1, 2, 3 };
System.out.println(nums);
// [I@xxxxx
System.out.println(Arrays.toString(nums));
// [1, 2, 3]
int[][] table = {
{ 1, },
{ 2, 3, },
{ 4, 5, 6, },
};
System.out.println(Arrays.toString(table));
// [[I@xxxxx, [I@yyyyy, [I@zzzzz]
System.out.println(Arrays.deepToString(table));
// [[1], [2, 3], [4, 5, 6]]
There are also Arrays.equals
and Arrays.deepEquals
that perform array equality comparison by their elements, among many other array-related utility methods.
You are echoing outside the body tag of your HTML. Put your echos there, and you should be fine.
Also, remove the onclick="alert()"

Use the chrome.runtime.id
property from the chrome.runtime API.
Virtual base classes, used in virtual inheritance, is a way of preventing multiple "instances" of a given class appearing in an inheritance hierarchy when using multiple inheritance.
Consider the following scenario:
class A { public: void Foo() {} };
class B : public A {};
class C : public A {};
class D : public B, public C {};
The above class hierarchy results in the "dreaded diamond" which looks like this:
A
/ \
B C
\ /
D
An instance of D will be made up of B, which includes A, and C which also includes A. So you have two "instances" (for want of a better expression) of A.
When you have this scenario, you have the possibility of ambiguity. What happens when you do this:
D d;
d.Foo(); // is this B's Foo() or C's Foo() ??
Virtual inheritance is there to solve this problem. When you specify virtual when inheriting your classes, you're telling the compiler that you only want a single instance.
class A { public: void Foo() {} };
class B : public virtual A {};
class C : public virtual A {};
class D : public B, public C {};
This means that there is only one "instance" of A included in the hierarchy. Hence
D d;
d.Foo(); // no longer ambiguous
This is a mini summary. For more information, have a read of this and this. A good example is also available here.
Microsoft Azure offers a framework that makes it easy to perform this. http://azure.github.io/azure-mobile-services/iOS/v2/Classes/MSTable.html#//api/name/readWithQueryString:completion:
Use -o
, which means "or":
find Documents \( -name "*.py" -o -name "*.html" \)
You'd need to build that command line programmatically, which isn't that easy.
Are you using bash (or Cygwin on Windows)? If you are, you should be able to do this:
ls **/*.py **/*.html
which might be easier to build programmatically.
IFormatProvider provides culture info to the method in question. DateTimeFormatInfo implements IFormatProvider, and allows you to specify the format you want your date/time to be displayed in. Examples can be found on the relevant MSDN pages.
Check documentation for model.fit here.
By setting verbose 0, 1 or 2 you just say how do you want to 'see' the training progress for each epoch.
verbose=0
will show you nothing (silent)
verbose=1
will show you an animated progress bar like this:
verbose=2
will just mention the number of epoch like this:
Problem solved. Here are the steps that I tried:
The config that I commented the previous one that I added:
<section name="handlers" overrideModeDefault="Allow" />
<section name="modules" allowDefinition="MachineToApplication" overrideModeDefault="Allow"/>
A polyfill is a shim which replaces the original call with the call to a shim.
For example, say you want to use the navigator.mediaDevices object, but not all browsers support this. You could imagine a library that provided a shim which you might use like this:
<script src="js/MediaShim.js"></script>
<script>
MediaShim.mediaDevices.getUserMedia(...);
</script>
In this case, you are explicitly calling a shim instead of using the original object or method. The polyfill, on the other hand, replaces the objects and methods on the original objects.
For example:
<script src="js/adapter.js"></script>
<script>
navigator.mediaDevices.getUserMedia(...);
</script>
In your code, it looks as though you are using the standard navigator.mediaDevices object. But really, the polyfill (adapter.js in the example) has replaced this object with its own one.
The one it has replaced it with is a shim. This will detect if the feature is natively supported and use it if it is, or it will work around it using other APIs if it is not.
So a polyfill is a sort of "transparent" shim. And this is what Remy Sharp (who coined the term) meant when saying "if you removed the polyfill script, your code would continue to work, without any changes required in spite of the polyfill being removed".
Try like this...
<script>
function getPaging(str) {
$("#loading-content").load("dataSearch.php?"+str, hideLoader);
}
</script>
<li onclick="getPaging(this.id)" id="1">1</li>
<li onclick="getPaging(this.id)" id="2">2</li>
or unobtrusively
$(function() {
$("li").on("click",function() {
showLoader();
$("#loading-content").load("dataSearch.php?"+this.id, hideLoader);
});
});
using just
<li id="1">1</li>
<li id="2">2</li>
The problem is even if you create a proxy or load the content and inject it as if it's local, any scripts that that content defines will be loaded from the other domain and cause cross-domain problems.
Given
volumes:
- /dir/on/host:/var/www/html
if /dir/on/host
doesn't exist, it is created on the host and the empty content is mounted in the container at /var/www/html
. Whatever content you had before in /var/www/html
inside the container is inaccessible, until you unmount the volume; the new mount is hiding the old content.
Look here.
Basically you have to do bind params:
$sql = "SELECT username FROM users WHERE locationid IN (SELECT locationid FROM locations WHERE countryid=?)";
$this->db->query($sql, '__COUNTRY_NAME__');
But, like Mr.E said, use joins:
$sql = "select username from users inner join locations on users.locationid = locations.locationid where countryid = ?";
$this->db->query($sql, '__COUNTRY_NAME__');
egrep -v "^\s\s+"
egrep already do regex, and the \s is white space.
The + duplicates current pattern.
The ^ is for the start
One thing to consider is how many cores exist on the machine that will be executing the code. That represents a hard limit on how many threads can be proceeding at any given time. However, if, as in your case, threads are expected to be frequently waiting for a database to execute a query, you will probably want to tune your threads based on how many concurrent queries the database can process.

You can put the data in a file and re-direct it like this:
$ cat file.sh
#!/bin/bash
read x
read y
echo $x
echo $y
Data for the script:
$ cat data.txt
2

Executing the script:
$ file.sh < data.txt

I'm kind of surprised SSL with client certificates hasn't been mentioned yet. Granted, this approach is only really useful if you can count on the community of users being identified by certificates. But a number of governments/companies do issue them to their users. The user doesn't have to worry about creating yet another username/password combination, and the identity is established on each and every connection so communication with the server can be entirely stateless, no user sessions required. (Not to imply that any/all of the other solutions mentioned require sessions)
in objective -c is u want to display float value in 2 decimal number then pass argument indicating how many decimal points u want to display e.g 0.02f will print 25.00 0.002f will print 25.000
This means you are using JPA or hibernate in your code and performing modifying operation on DB without making the business logic transaction. So simple solution for this is mark your piece of code @Transactional
As @Vadzim said, in IntelliJ or Android Studio, you just have to do the following to get java code from kotlin:
Menu > Tools > Kotlin > Show Kotlin Bytecode
Decompile
buttonUpdate:
With a recent version (1.2+) of the Kotlin plugin you also can directly do Menu > Tools > Kotlin -> Decompile Kotlin to Java
.
If this thread is to be believed, you need to supply the -ffunction-sections
and -fdata-sections
to gcc, which will put each function and data object in its own section. Then you give and --gc-sections
to GNU ld to remove the unused sections.
I think there is one caveat. I once committed such an error: Inside of a derived class, I tried to "initialize at declaration" the fields inherited from an abstract base class. The result was that there existed two sets of fields, one is "base" and another is the newly declared ones, and it cost me quite some time to debug.
The lesson: to initialize inherited fields, you'd do it inside of the constructor.
Another way simpler than me has worked with SQL Developer 4 in Windows 7
spool "path_to_file\\filename.txt"
query to execute
spool of
You have to execute it as a script, because if not only the query will be saved in the output file In the path name I use the double character "\" as a separator when working with Windows and SQL, The output file will display the query and the result.
A pure CSS solution is easy enough and it works like a charm cross browser.
You simply add a large padding and an equally large negative margin to the nav and content columns, then wrap their row in a class with overflow hidden.

There are multiple issues with the MMC however as on almost every PC in my business the ask scheduler API will not open and has somehow been corrupted. So you cannot edit, delete or otherwise modify tasks that were developed before the API decided not to run anymore. The only way we have found to fix that issue is to totally wipe away a persons profile under the C:\Users\ area and force the system to recreate the log in once the person logs back in. This seems to fix the API issue and it works again, however the tasks are often not visible anymore to that user since the tasks developed are specific to the user and not the machine in Windows 7. The other odd thing is that sometimes, although not with any frequency that can be analyzed, the tasks still run even though the API is corrupted and will not open. The cause of this issue is apparently not known but there are many "fixes" described on various websites, but the user profile deletion and adding anew seems to work every time for at least a little while. The tasks are saved as XML now in WIN 7, so if you do find them in the system32/tasks folder you can delete them, or copy them to a new drive and then import them back into task scheduler. We went with the system scheduler software from Splinterware though since we had the same corruption issue multiple times even with the fix that does not seem to be permanent.
You need to animate the html, body
DEMO http://jsfiddle.net/kevinPHPkevin/8tLdq/1/
$("#button").click(function() {
$('html, body').animate({
scrollTop: $("#myDiv").offset().top
}, 2000);
});
111 means connection refused, which in turn means that your mysqld only listens to the localhost
interface.
To alter it you may want to look at the bind-address
value in the mysqld
section of your my.cnf
file.
ng-init
is a directive that can be placed inside div
's, span
's, whatever, whereas onload
is an attribute specific to the ng-include
directive that functions as an ng-init
. To see what I mean try something like:
<span onload="a = 1">{{ a }}</span>
<span ng-init="b = 2">{{ b }}</span>
You'll see that only the second one shows up.
An isolated scope is a scope which does not prototypically inherit from its parent scope. In laymen's terms if you have a widget that doesn't need to read and write to the parent scope arbitrarily then you use an isolate scope on the widget so that the widget and widget container can freely use their scopes without overriding each other's properties.
This allows you to just get the image data and set to the img src, which is cool.
var oReq = new XMLHttpRequest();
oReq.open("post", '/somelocation/getmypic', true );
oReq.responseType = "blob";
oReq.onload = function ( oEvent )
{
var blob = oReq.response;
var imgSrc = URL.createObjectURL( blob );
var $img = $( '<img/>', {
"alt": "test image",
"src": imgSrc
} ).appendTo( $( '#bb_theImageContainer' ) );
window.URL.revokeObjectURL( imgSrc );
};
oReq.send( null );
The basic idea is that the data is returned untampered with, it is placed in a blob and then a url is created to that object in memory. See here and here. Note supported browsers.
If week 1 always starts on the first Monday
of the month try this formula for week number
=INT((6+DAY(A1+1-WEEKDAY(A1-1)))/7)
That gets the week number from the date in A1 with no intermediate calculations - if you want to use your "Monday's date" in B1 you can use this version
=INT((DAY(B1)+6)/7)
This was working for me so Try This: $ad->getcodes()->distinct('pid')->count()
I figured out what the issue was : missing quotes in the testEcho() parameter. This is how I got the call to work:
myWebView.loadUrl("javascript:testEcho('Hello World!')");
I had a similar problem, and eventually wrote a helper function that selects dropdown values.
I eventually decided that I was fine selecting by option number, and therefore wrote a method that takes an element and the optionNumber, and selects that optionNumber. If the optionNumber is null it selects nothing (leaving the dropdown unselected).
var selectDropdownbyNum = function ( element, optionNum ) {
if (optionNum){
var options = element.all(by.tagName('option'))
.then(function(options){
options[optionNum].click();
});
}
};
I wrote a blog post if you want more detail, it also covers verifying the text of the selected option in a dropdown: http://technpol.wordpress.com/2013/12/01/protractor-and-dropdowns-validation/
If you want to use Parameters and regulate the maximum number of async functions you can use a simple async worker I've build:
var BackgroundWorker = function(maxTasks) {
this.maxTasks = maxTasks || 100;
this.runningTasks = 0;
this.taskQueue = [];
};
/* runs an async task */
BackgroundWorker.prototype.runTask = function(task, delay, params) {
var self = this;
if(self.runningTasks >= self.maxTasks) {
self.taskQueue.push({ task: task, delay: delay, params: params});
} else {
self.runningTasks += 1;
var runnable = function(params) {
try {
task(params);
} catch(err) {
console.log(err);
}
self.taskCompleted();
}
// this approach uses current standards:
setTimeout(runnable, delay, params);
}
}
BackgroundWorker.prototype.taskCompleted = function() {
this.runningTasks -= 1;
// are any tasks waiting in queue?
if(this.taskQueue.length > 0) {
// it seems so! let's run it x)
var taskInfo = this.taskQueue.splice(0, 1)[0];
this.runTask(taskInfo.task, taskInfo.delay, taskInfo.params);
}
}
You can use it like this:
var myFunction = function() {
...
}
var myFunctionB = function() {
...
}
var myParams = { name: "John" };
var bgworker = new BackgroundWorker();
bgworker.runTask(myFunction, 0, myParams);
bgworker.runTask(myFunctionB, 0, null);
In my scenario, I edited the .csproj file for my dotnetCore app. I noticed that the TargetFramework tag had a value of netcoreapp2.1 and the RuntimeFrameworkVersion tag a value of 2.0.0. So I changed the RuntimeFrameworkVersion to 2.1.0, saved, restarted VS and rebuilt and then it resolved the errors.
Hope this will help you ...
Good Luck,

TL;DR; If you're still having trouble after restarting apache or nginx, also try restarting the php-fpm
service.
The answers here don't always satisfy the requirement to force a reload of the php.ini file. On numerous occasions I've taken these steps to be rewarded with no update, only to find the solution I need after also restarting the php-fpm service. So if restarting apache or nginx doesn't trigger a php.ini update although you know the files are updated, try restarting php-fpm as well.
To restart the service:
Note: prepend sudo if not root
Using SysV Init scripts directly:
/etc/init.d/php-fpm restart # typical
/etc/init.d/php5-fpm restart # debian-style
/etc/init.d/php7.0-fpm restart # debian-style PHP 7
Using service wrapper script
service php-fpm restart # typical
service php5-fpm restart # debian-style
service php7.0-fpm restart. # debian-style PHP 7
Using Upstart (e.g. ubuntu):
restart php7.0-fpm # typical (ubuntu is debian-based) PHP 7
restart php5-fpm # typical (ubuntu is debian-based)
restart php-fpm # uncommon
Using systemd (newer servers):
systemctl restart php-fpm.service # typical
systemctl restart php5-fpm.service # uncommon
systemctl restart php7.0-fpm.service # uncommon PHP 7
Or whatever the equivalent is on your system.
The above commands taken directly from this server fault answer
You can't return an XmlElement
or an XmlNode
, because those objects always and only exist within the context of an owning XmlDocument
.
XML serialization is a little easier than returning an XElement
, because all you have to do is mark properties with attributes and the serializer does all the XML generation for you. (Plus you get deserialization for free, assuming you have a parameterless constructor and, well, a bunch of other things.)
On the other hand, a) you have to create an XmlSerializer
to do it, b) dealing with collection properties isn't quite the no-brainer you might like it to be, and c) XML serialization is pretty dumb; you're out of luck if you want to do anything fancy with the XML you're generating.
In a lot of cases, those issues don't matter one bit. I for one would rather mark my properties with attributes than write a method.
Use:
a:visited {
text-decoration: none;
}
But it will only affect links that haven't been clicked on yet.
First, generate an Interface
Assuming you are using TypeScript & Angular CLI, you can generate one by using the following command
ng g interface car
After that set the data types of its properties
// car.interface.ts
export interface car {
id: number;
eco: boolean;
wheels: number;
name: string;
}
You can now import your interface in the class that you want.
import {car} from "app/interfaces/car.interface";
And update the collection/array of car objects by pushing items in the array.
this.car.push({
id: 12345,
eco: true,
wheels: 4,
name: 'Tesla Model S',
});
More on interfaces:
An interface is a TypeScript artifact, it is not part of ECMAScript. An interface is a way to define a contract on a function with respect to the arguments and their type. Along with functions, an interface can also be used with a Class as well to define custom types. An interface is an abstract type, it does not contain any code as a class does. It only defines the 'signature' or shape of an API. During transpilation, an interface will not generate any code, it is only used by Typescript for type checking during development. - https://angular-2-training-book.rangle.io/handout/features/interfaces.html
I was running in to the same issue, but have just managed a full uninstall by means of trusty old CMD:
D:\vs_ultimate.exe /uninstall /force
Where D: is the location of your installation media (mounted iso, etc).
You could also pass /passive (no user input required - just progress displayed) or /quiet to the above command line.
EDIT: Adding link below to MSDN article mentioning that this forcibly removes ALL installed components.
Also, to ensure link rot doesn't invalidate this, adding brief text below from original article.
Starting with Visual Studio 2013, you can forcibly remove almost all components. A few core components – like the .NET Framework and VC runtimes – are left behind because of their ubiquity, though you can remove those separately from Programs and Features if you really want.
Warning: This will remove all components regardless of whether other products require them. This may cause other products to function incorrectly or not function at all.
Good luck!
There is also a vectorized implementation, which allows to use 4 numpy arrays instead of scalar values for coordinates:
def distance(s_lat, s_lng, e_lat, e_lng):
# approximate radius of earth in km
R = 6373.0
s_lat = s_lat*np.pi/180.0
s_lng = np.deg2rad(s_lng)
e_lat = np.deg2rad(e_lat)
e_lng = np.deg2rad(e_lng)
d = np.sin((e_lat - s_lat)/2)**2 + np.cos(s_lat)*np.cos(e_lat) * np.sin((e_lng - s_lng)/2)**2
return 2 * R * np.arcsin(np.sqrt(d))
Insert this in your Makefile
$(MAKE) -C $(KDIR) M=$(PWD) modules_install
it will install the module in the directory /lib/modules/<var>/extra/
After make , insert module with modprobe module_name (without .ko extension)
OR
After your normal make, you copy module module_name.ko into directory /lib/modules/<var>/extra/
then do modprobe module_name (without .ko extension)
You can do this:
gdb --args path/to/executable -every -arg you can=think < of
The magic bit being --args
.
Just type run
in the gdb command console to start debugging.
do like this:
departments: string[]=[];
if(this.departments.indexOf(this.departmentName.trim()) >-1 ){
return;
}
Well i found a simpler solution for me:
I changed fullcalendar.css
and added the following:
float: left;
clear: none;
margin-right: 10px;
Resulting in:
.fc-event-time,
.fc-event-title {
padding: 0 1px;
float: left;
clear: none;
margin-right: 10px;
}
now it only wraps when it needs to.
Here is a log4j.properties file that I've used with great success.
logDir=/var/log/myapp
log4j.rootLogger=INFO, stdout
#log4j.rootLogger=DEBUG, stdout
log4j.appender.stdout=org.apache.log4j.DailyRollingFileAppender
log4j.appender.stdout.layout=org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout
log4j.appender.stdout.layout.ConversionPattern=%d{MM/dd/yyyy hh:mm:ss a}|%-5p|%-30c{1}| %m%n
log4j.appender.stdout.DatePattern='.'yyyy-MM-dd
log4j.appender.stdout.File=${logDir}/myapp.log
log4j.appender.stdout.append=true
The DailyRollingFileAppender will create new files each day with file names that look like this:
myapp.log.2017-01-27
myapp.log.2017-01-28
myapp.log.2017-01-29
myapp.log <-- today's log
Each entry in the log file will will have this format:
01/30/2017 12:59:47 AM|INFO |Component1 | calling foobar(): userId=123, returning totalSent=1
01/30/2017 12:59:47 AM|INFO |Component2 | count=1 > 0, calling fooBar()
Set the location of the above file by using -Dlog4j.configuration
, as mentioned in this posting:
java -Dlog4j.configuration=file:/home/myapp/config/log4j.properties com.foobar.myapp
In your Java code, be sure to set the name of each software component when you instantiate your logger object. I also like to log to both the log file and standard output, so I wrote this small function.
private static final Logger LOGGER = Logger.getLogger("Component1");
public static void log(org.apache.log4j.Logger logger, String message) {
logger.info(message);
System.out.printf("%s\n", message);
}
public static String stackTraceToString(Exception ex) {
StringWriter sw = new StringWriter();
PrintWriter pw = new PrintWriter(sw);
ex.printStackTrace(pw);
return sw.toString();
}
And then call it like so:
LOGGER.info(String.format("Exception occurred: %s", stackTraceToString(ex)));
Do not do this object.hasOwnProperty(key))
. It's really bad because these methods may be shadowed by properties on the object in question - consider { hasOwnProperty: false }
- or, the object may be a null object (Object.create(null))
.
The best way is to do Object.prototype.hasOwnProperty.call(object, key)
or:
const has = Object.prototype.hasOwnProperty; // Cache the lookup once, in module scope.
/* Or */
import has from 'has'; // https://www.npmjs.com/package/has
// ...
console.log(has.call(object, key));
For method decorator declaration
with configuration "noImplicitAny": true,
you can specify type of this variable explicitly depends on @tony19's answer
function logParameter(this:any, target: Object, propertyName: string) {
//...
}
The answer to this question can be found here
goto the AndroidStudio installation folder.
goto bin folder and open studio.bat in text editor
add set JAVA_HOME=C:\Program Files\Java2\jdk1.8.0//your java path after the ECHO line.
goto Start -> All Programmes -> Android Studio ->
right click on Android Studio and click on properties.
You will see the Target something like <installation path>android-studio\bin\studio64.exe
change it to <installation path>android-studio\bin\studio.bat
or..... even this might work
Java_Home path set to its parent folder to C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_25
