Simply compare using .toDateString like below:

new Date().toDateString();

This will return you date part only and not time or timezone, like this:

"Fri Feb 03 2017"

Hence both date can be compared in this format likewise without time part of it.

Here's a function I've been testing with jquery 1.3.2 and 09-18-2009's nightly build. Let me know your results with it. Everything executes fine on this end in Safari, FF, Opera on OSX. It is exclusively for fixing a problematic IE8 bug, and may have unintended results:

This happened to because I have a rule setup in my express server to route any 404 back to /# plus whatever the original request was. Allowing the angular router/js to handle the request. If there's no js route to handle that path, a request to /#/whatever is made to the server, which is just a request for /, the entire webpage.

So for example if I wanted to make a request for /correct/somejsfile.js but I miss typed it to /wrong/somejsfile.js the request is made to the server. That location/file does not exist, so the server responds with a 302 location: /#/wrong/somejsfile.js. The browser happily follows the redirect and the entire webpage is returned. The browser parses the page as js and you get

Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token <

So to help find the offending path/request look for 302 requests.

TL;DR. You can get around this by expressing your queries as MyModel::query()->find(10); instead of MyModel::find(10);.

To the best of my knowledge, starting PhpStorm 2017.2 code inspection fails for methods such as MyModel::where(), MyModel::find(), etc (check this thread). This could get quite annoying, when you try let's say to use PhpStorm's Git integration before committing your code, PhpStorm won't stop complaining about these static method call warnings.

One elegant way (IMOO) to get around this is to explicitly call ::query() wherever it makes sense to. This will let you benefit from a free auto-completion and a nice query formatting.

Since JavaScript can't access anything on the local disk for security reasons, you can't examine local files. This is also true for files in the browser's cache.

You really need a server which can process AJAX requests. On that server, install a service that downloads the image and saves the data stream in a dummy output which just counts the bytes. To my knowledge these are the rules for calling subroutines and functions in VBScript:

• When calling a subroutine or a function where you discard the return value don't use parenthesis

• When calling a subroutine using the Call keyword enclose the arguments in parenthesis

Since you probably wont be using the Call keyword you only need to learn the rule that if you call a function and want to assign or use the return value you need to enclose the arguments in parenthesis. Otherwise, don't use parenthesis.

• WScript.Echo(1) - apparently this is a subroutine call using parenthesis but in reality the argument is simply the expression (1) and that is what tends to confuse people that are used to other programming languages where you have to specify parenthesis when calling subroutines

• I'm not sure how to interpret your example, Randomize(). Randomize is a subroutine that accepts a single optional argument but even if the subroutine didn't have any arguments it is acceptable to call it with an empty pair of parenthesis. It seems that the VBScript parser has a special rule for an empty argument list. However, my advice is to avoid this special construct and simply call any subroutine without using parenthesis.

I'm quite sure that these syntactic rules applies across different versions of operating systems.

I've also noticed that the question was "answered" some time ago but I don't understand the stories that say you can't open a utf8-encoded csv file successfully in Excel without using the text wizard.

UIView's pointInside:withEvent: could be a good solution. Will return a boolean value indicating wether or not the given CGPoint is in the UIView instance you are using. Example:

Of course you can, in the sense that your RDBMS will let you do it. The answer to a question of whether or not you should do it is different, though: in most situations, values that have a meaning outside your database system should not be chosen to be a primary key.

If you know that the value is unique in the system that you are modeling, it is appropriate to add a unique index or a unique constraint to your table. However, your primary key should generally be some "meaningless" value, such as an auto-incremented number or a GUID.

I encountered this problem on Windows 8.1, VirtualBox 5.1.18 and Vagrant 1.9.3.

Deleting the VirtualBox Hosts-only Ethernet Adapter from VirtualBox Preferences (Network --> Hosts-only networks) fixed this for me, and vagrant up could continue and start the VM.

I have found a solution to my problems that it's pretty same as yours.

First of all, I only have a LinearLayout with 2 elements, an ImageView and a LinearLayout wich contains 2 EditText and one Button, so I needed to keep them separate in full screen without keyboard, and when the keyboard appears they should look closer.

So I added the view between them with the height attribute in 0dp and weight 1, that let me keep my views separate one form each other. and when the keyboard appers, as they don't have a fix height, they just resize and keep the aspect.

Voila! The layout resize and the distance between my views is the same when the keyboard is or not present.

The problem you're running into is that most background thread / worker APIs will create the thread in a Multithreaded Apartment state. The error message indicates that the control requires the thread be a Single Threaded Apartment.

You can work around this by creating a thread yourself and specifying the STA apartment state on the thread.

The input shape you have defined is the shape of a single sample. The model itself expects some array of samples as input (even if its an array of length 1).

Your output really should be 4-d, with the 1st dimension to enumerate the samples. i.e. for a single image you should return a shape of (1, 32, 32, 3).

Edit: Based on Danny's comment below, if you want a batch size of 1, you can add the missing dimension using this:

Gradle is in offline mode, which means that it won't go to the network to resolve dependencies.

In simple terms:

x=np.array ([x0*n])

Here you define x as a single-item array of -200.0. You could do this:

x=np.array ([x0,]*n)

or this:

x=np.zeros((n,)) + x0

Note: your imports are quite confused. You import numpy modules three times in the header, and then later import pylab (that already contains all numpy modules). If you want to go easy, with one single

Although @Pascal answer is perfectly valid, from my experience I find the code below helpful to accomplish optimistic locking:

Why? Because:

1. Optimistic locking won't work if field annotated with @Version is accidentally set to null.
2. As this special field isn't necessarily a business version of the object, to avoid a misleading, I prefer to name such field to something like optlock rather than version.

First point doesn't matter if application uses only JPA for inserting data into the database, as JPA vendor will enforce 0 for @version field at creation time. But almost always plain SQL statements are also in use (at least during unit and integration testing).

Injection already existed in Java EE 5 with the @Resource, @PersistentUnit or @EJB annotations, for example. But it was limited to certain resources (datasource, EJB . . .) and into certain components (Servlets, EJBs, JSF backing bean . . .). With CDI you can inject nearly anything anywhere thanks to the @Inject annotation.

In above code, you don't pass the kml data to your mapView anywhere in your code, as far as I can see. To display the route, you should parse the kml data i.e. via SAX parser, then display the route markers on the map.

See the code below for an example, but it's not complete though - just for you as a reference and get some idea.

This is a textbook case for a constructor function:

By default, CORS does not include cookies on cross-origin requests. This is different from other cross-origin techniques such as JSON-P. JSON-P always includes cookies with the request, and this behavior can lead to a class of vulnerabilities called cross-site request forgery, or CSRF.

In order to reduce the chance of CSRF vulnerabilities in CORS, CORS requires both the server and the client to acknowledge that it is ok to include cookies on requests. Doing this makes cookies an active decision, rather than something that happens passively without any control.

The client code must set the withCredentials property on the XMLHttpRequest to true in order to give permission.

However, this header alone is not enough. The server must respond with the Access-Control-Allow-Credentials header. Responding with this header to true means that the server allows cookies (or other user credentials) to be included on cross-origin requests.

You also need to make sure your browser isn't blocking third-party cookies if you want cross-origin credentialed requests to work.

Note that regardless of whether you are making same-origin or cross-origin requests, you need to protect your site from CSRF (especially if your request includes cookies).

It looks like you are not providing a value for the primary key field DB_ID. If that is a primary key, you must provide a unique value for that column. The only way not to provide it would be to create a database trigger that, on insert, would provide a value, most likely derived from a sequence.

If this is a restoration from another database and there is a sequence on this new instance, it might be trying to reuse a value. If the old data had unique keys from 1 - 1000 and your current sequence is at 500, it would be generating values that already exist. If a sequence does exist for this table and it is trying to use it, you would need to reconcile the values in your table with the current value of the sequence.

You can use SEQUENCE_NAME.CURRVAL to see the current value of the sequence (if it exists of course)

I was the only developer in the team experiencing this same issue, it worked perfectly for everybody so I realized it had to be my environment. I tried a git clone of the same project in another directory and it compiled perfectly, then I realized it had to be Xcode caching stuff for my project path somewhere, that "somewhere" is the DerivedData folder, just remove it and do a clean build of your project, it worked for me.

You can get the path and even open the folder in finder by going to:

Xcode -> Preferences -> Locations -> **DerivedData

I have been making a Chrome app called Postman for this type of stuff. All the other extensions seemed a bit dated so made my own. It also has a bunch of other features which have been helpful for documenting our own API here.

Postman now also has native apps (i.e. standalone) for Windows, Mac and Linux! It is more preferable now to use native apps, read more here.

I'll answer the original question not by pointing out another possible syntax (there are many amongst the other answers) but by pointing out something I have once had to deal with, that took me a while to figure out:

What am I doing wrong?

There is a possibility that %{HTTP_HOST} is not being populated properly, or at all. Although, I've only seen that occur in only one machine on a shared host, with some custom patched apache 2.2, it's a possibility nonetheless.

I'm pretty sure GSON serializes/deserializes Maps and multiple-nested Maps (i.e. Map<String, Map<String, Object>>) just fine by default. The example provided I believe is nothing more than just a starting point if you need to do something more complex.

So long as the types of the keys and values can be serialized into JSON strings (and you can create your own serializers/deserializers for these custom objects) you shouldn't have any issues.

In spite of all the answers you already received, it is worth noting that you do not need to write a plugin to use jQuery in a function. Certainly if it's a simple, one-time function, I believe writing a plugin is overkill. It could be done much more easily by just passing the selector to the function as a parameter. Your code would look something like this:

Just as a complement to the answers already given, I would like to point out that often it is important to play with the size of the bins for the FFT. It would make sense to test a bunch of values and pick the one that makes more sense to your application. Often, it is in the same magnitude of the number of samples. This was as assumed by most of the answers given, and produces great and reasonable results. In case one wants to explore that, here is my code version:

execFile('helloworld.py') does the job for me. A thing to note is to enter the complete directory name of the .py file if it isnt in the Python folder itself (atleast this is the case on Windows)

You might have the same problem as I do. After creating your .jar file, write jar xf app.jar META-INF/MANIFEST.MF. This will create a copy of the file to your current directory so you can read it. If it only says something like:

Manifest-Version: 1.0

Created-By: 1.8.0_51 (Oracle Corporation)

and does not contain the "Main-Class" declaration, then I think you found your problem.

I do not know how to solve it, though. I checked other people with same/similar problems on StackOverflow and couldn't find an answer. However with this information you can perhaps get some better help (given the fact that you have the same problem as I).

Edit: I had tried with a manifest-file but didn't get it to work, but my mistake was to only name one of the classes when creating the jar-file. I wrote *.class instead and it works now.

Although I don't know why there is a need to create a manifest-file. But I guess it's fine as long as it works.

I've been able to do this using SVG filter. You can write a filter that multiplies the color of source image with the color you want to change to. In the code snippet below, flood-color is the color we want to change image color to (which is Red in this case.) feComposite tells the filter how we're processing the color. The formula for feComposite with arithmetic is (k1*i1*i2 + k2*i1 + k3*i2 + k4) where i1 and i2 are input colors for in/in2 accordingly. So specifying only k1=1 means it will do just i1*i2, which means multiplying both input colors together.

Note: This only works with HTML5 since this is using inline SVG. But I think you might be able to make this work with older browser by putting SVG in a separate file. I haven't tried that approach yet.

The currently selected answer does not mention the rename_axis method which can be used to rename the index and column levels.

Pandas has some quirkiness when it comes to renaming the levels of the index. There is also a new DataFrame method rename_axis available to change the index level names.

Let's take a look at a DataFrame

It sounds like your confusion lies in which host to connect to in order to access your application via HTTP. You haven't really spelled out what your configuration is - I'm going to make some guesses, based on the fact that you've got "Windows" and "VirtualBox" in your tags.

D = the IP address of the Docker container

L = the IP address of the Linux host running in VirtualBox

W = the IP address of the Windows host

When you run your Go application on your Windows host, you can connect to it with http://W:8080/ from anywhere on your local network. This works because the Go application binds the port 8080 on the Windows machine and anybody who tries to access port 8080 at the IP address W will get connected.

And here's where it becomes more complicated:

VirtualBox, when it sets up a virtual machine (VM), can configure the network in one of several different modes. I don't remember what all the different options are, but the one you want is bridged. In this mode, VirtualBox connects the virtual machine to your local network as if it were a stand-alone machine on the network, just like any other machine that was plugged in to your network. In bridged mode, the virtual machine appears on your network like any other machine. Other modes set things up differently and the machine will not be visible on your network.

So, assuming you set up networking correctly for the Linux host (bridged), the Linux host will have an IP address on your local network (something like 192.168.0.x) and you will be able to access your Docker container at http://L:8080/.

If the Linux host is set to some mode other than bridged, you might be able to access from the Windows host, but this is going to depend on exactly what mode it's in.

EDIT - based on the comments below, it sounds very much like the situation I've described above is correct.

Let's back up a little: here's how Docker works on my computer (Ubuntu Linux).

Imagine I run the same command you have: docker run -p 8080:8080 dockertest. What this does is start a new container based on the dockertest image and forward (connect) port 8080 on the Linux host (my PC) to port 8080 on the container. Docker sets up it's own internal networking (with its own set of IP addresses) to allow the Docker daemon to communicate and to allow containers to communicate with one another. So basically what you're doing with that -p 8080:8080 is connecting Docker's internal networking with the "external" network - ie. the host's network adapter - on a particular port.

With me so far? OK, now let's take a step back and look at your system. Your machine is running Windows - Docker does not (currently) run on Windows, so the tool you're using has set up a Linux host in a VirtualBox virtual machine. When you do the docker run in your environment, exactly the same thing is happening - port 8080 on the Linux host is connected to port 8080 on the container. The big difference here is that your Windows host is not the Linux host on which the container is running, so there's another layer here and it's communication across this layer where you are running into problems.

What you need is one of two things:

1. to connect port 8080 on the VirtualBox VM to port 8080 on the Windows host, just like you connect the Docker container to the host port.

2. to connect the VirtualBox VM directly to your local network with the bridged network mode I described above.

If you go for the first option, you will be able to access the container at http://W:8080 where W is the IP address or hostname of the Windows host. If you opt for the second, you will be able to access the container at http://L:8080 where L is the IP address or hostname of the Linux VM.

So that's all the higher-level explanation - now you need to figure out how to change the configuration of the VirtualBox VM. And here's where I can't really help you - I don't know what tool you're using to do all this on your Windows machine and I'm not at all familiar with using Docker on Windows.

If you can get to the VirtualBox configuration window, you can make the changes described below. There is also a command line client that will modify VMs, but I'm not familiar with that.

For bridged mode (and this really is the simplest choice), shut down your VM, click the "Settings" button at the top, and change the network mode to bridged, then restart the VM and you're good to go. The VM should pick up an IP address on your local network via DHCP and should be visible to other computers on the network at that IP address.

If your string is a file path, as in your example, you can also use Unix style file paths:

Question 1: Unfortunately the one in which you you say is most intuitive is the least used in Android. As I understand, you should separate your UI (XML) and computational functionality (Java Class Files). It also makes for easier debugging. This way as my coworker explains is neater in his eyes, as all the onClick computation is handled in one place and not crowding the onCreate method. But the downside I see is, that the:

Your task declaration is incorrectly combining the Copy task type and project.copy method, resulting in a task that has nothing to copy and thus never runs. Besides, Copy isn't the right choice for renaming a directory. There is no Gradle API for renaming, but a bit of Groovy code (leveraging Java's File API) will do. Assuming Project1 is the project directory:

Are you using .NET 3.5? You could use the ZipPackage class and related classes. Its more than just zipping up a file list because it wants a MIME type for each file you add. It might do what you want.

I'm currently using these classes for a similar problem to archive several related files into a single file for download. We use a file extension to associate the download file with our desktop app. One small problem we ran into was that its not possible to just use a third-party tool like 7-zip to create the zip files because the client side code can't open it -- ZipPackage adds a hidden file describing the content type of each component file and cannot open a zip file if that content type file is missing.

Based on this SO question :

On my Ubuntu LAMP installation, I solved this problem with the following 2 changes.

1. Enable mod_rewrite on the apache server: sudo a2enmod rewrite.
2. Edit /etc/apache2/apache2.conf, changing the "AllowOverride" directive for the /var/www directory (which is my main document root): AllowOverride All

Then restart the Apache server: service apache2 restart

I saw in the comments for Nico's answer that some people were running into issues with saving lists that had lists within them. I also ran into this problem with some of my work and was hoping that someone found a better answer than what I found however no one responded to their issue.

So: @ali, @FMKerckhof, and @Kerry the only way that I found to save a nested list is to use sink() like user6585653 suggested (I tried to up vote his answer but could not). It is not the best way to do it since you link the text file which means it can be easily over written or other results may be saved within that file if you do not cancel the sink. See below for the code.

Another problem, in the presence of a NAMESPACE, is that you are trying to run an unexported function from package foo.

For example (contrived, I know, but):

I've used plot.prcomp just as an example to illustrate the purpose. In normal use you shouldn't be calling S3 methods like this. But as I said, if the function you want to call exists (it might be a hidden utility function for example), but is in a namespace, R will report that it can't find the function unless you tell it which namespace to look in.

Compare this to the following: stats::plot.prcomp The above fails because while stats uses plot.prcomp, it is not exported from stats as the error rightly tells us:

Error: 'plot.prcomp' is not an exported object from 'namespace:stats'

This is documented as follows:

pkg::name returns the value of the exported variable name in namespace pkg, whereas pkg:::name returns the value of the internal variable name.

Here is how this particular deadlock problem actually occurred and how it was actually resolved. This is a fairly active database with 130K transactions occurring daily. The indexes in the tables in this database were originally clustered. The client requested us to make the indexes nonclustered. As soon as we did, the deadlocking began. When we reestablished the indexes as clustered, the deadlocking stopped.

EDIT : this answer is old. Usage of MD5 is now discouraged as it can easily be broken.

That depends on what you want to do, but as you said, getting an entity reference using find() and then just updating that entity is the easiest way to do that.

I'd not bother about performance differences of the various methods unless you have strong indications that this really matters.

The colorWithPattern: method is really for generating patterns from images. Thus, the customization you require is most likely not possible, nor is it meant to be.

Indeed you need to use a UIImageView to center and scale an image. The fact that you have a UIScrollView does not prevent this:

Make self.view a generic view, then add both the UIImageView and the UIScrollView as subviews. Make sure all is wired up correctly in Interface Builder, and make the background color of the scroll view transparent.

Labels and also the comment label :: have a special logic in parenthesis blocks.
They span always two lines SO: goto command not working.
So they are not recommended for parenthesis blocks, as they are often the cause for syntax errors.

With ECHO ON a REM line is shown, but not a line commented with ::

Both can't really comment out the rest of the line, so a simple %~ will cause a syntax error.

You can use &REM or &:: to add a comment to the end of command line. This approach works because '&' introduces a new command on the same line.

There exists a comment style with percent signs.

In reality these are variables but they are expanded to nothing.
But the advantage is that they can be placed in the same line, even without &.
The equal sign ensures, that such a variable can't exists.

EDIT: The following is copied from Arto Bendiken's answer over on unix.stackexchange.com, circa 2016.

This can indeed be done atomically with rename(2), by first creating the new symlink under a temporary name and then cleanly overwriting the old symlink in one go. As the man page states:

If newpath refers to a symbolic link the link will be overwritten.

In the shell, you would do this with mv -T as follows:

$ ln -s a z
$ ln -s b z.new
$ mv -T z.new z

You can strace that last command to make sure it is indeed using rename(2) under the hood:

DisplacedAussie's answer is correct, but usually a shorter method is just to reverse the single axis in question:

where the gca() function returns the current Axes instance and the [::-1] reverses the list.

I think varchar(20) only requires 21 bytes while varchar(500) only requires 501 bytes. So the total bytes are 522, less than 767. So why did I get the error message?

UTF8 requires 3 bytes per character to store the string, so in your case 20 + 500 characters = 20*3+500*3 = 1560 bytes which is more than allowed 767 bytes.

The limit for UTF8 is 767/3 = 255 characters, for UTF8mb4 which uses 4 bytes per character it is 767/4 = 191 characters.

There are two solutions to this problem if you need to use longer column than the limit:

1. Use "cheaper" encoding (the one that requires less bytes per character)
   In my case, I needed to add Unique index on column containing SEO string of article, as I use only [A-z0-9\-] characters for SEO, I used latin1_general_ci which uses only one byte per character and so column can have 767 bytes length.
2. Create hash from your column and use unique index only on that

Referencing means taking the address of an existing variable (using &) to set a pointer variable. In order to be valid, a pointer has to be set to the address of a variable of the same type as the pointer, without the asterisk:

• Dereferencing a pointer to a variable that has since gone out of scope can also cause a crash.

According to Java Concurrency in Practice:

• Timer can be sensitive to changes in the system clock, ScheduledThreadPoolExecutor isn't.
• Timer has only one execution thread, so long-running task can delay other tasks. ScheduledThreadPoolExecutor can be configured with any number of threads. Furthermore, you have full control over created threads, if you want (by providing ThreadFactory).
• Runtime exceptions thrown in TimerTask kill that one thread, thus making Timer dead :-( ... i.e. scheduled tasks will not run anymore. ScheduledThreadExecutor not only catches runtime exceptions, but it lets you handle them if you want (by overriding afterExecute method from ThreadPoolExecutor). Task which threw exception will be canceled, but other tasks will continue to run.

If you can use ScheduledThreadExecutor instead of Timer, do so.

One more thing... while ScheduledThreadExecutor isn't available in Java 1.4 library, there is a Backport of JSR 166 (java.util.concurrent) to Java 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, which has the ScheduledThreadExecutor class.

After struggling for finding a solution and NOT finding the official documentation helpful, this solved the issue for me:

1. Download the Fontawesome.zip. I'm using version 5.10.2 and i got it from here https://fontawesome.com/download

2. Inside the zip file there are several folders.You only need css and webfonts folders

   3. Create 2 folders in your web projects, and name them css and webfonts.

These names are mandatory. Now copy the content of css and webfonts from the zip into the corresponding folders in your project. And that's all!

Beware fontawesome! Awesomeness is making things simple for the user!

The string method replace does not modify the original string. It leaves the original alone and returns a modified copy.

Very old question here, but I ran into the same error and none of the provided answers solved the issue.

My issue occurred because I manually changed the namespace and assembly names of the project after initial creation. Took me a little bit to notice that the namespace in the Inherits attribute didn't match the updated namespace.

Updating that namespace in the Global.asax markup to match the apps namespace fixed the error for me.

If you're doing a very simple GUI and you're already using Visual Studio then it may make sense to just go with MFC. You can just use the Visual Studio MFC wizard to create a dialog based application, drop two controls on it and away you go.

MFC is dated and has its fair share of annoyances, but it will certainly do the job for you if you're just talking about a button and a text box.
