You can do this by creating a factory method in MyObject:

However, by mocking the methods of a local scope object, you are depending on that part of the implementation of the method staying the same. So you lose the ability to refactor that part of the method without breaking the test. In addition, if you are stubbing return values in the mock, then your unit test may pass, but the method may behave unexpectedly when using the real object.

In sum, you should probably not try to do this. Rather, letting the test drive your code (aka TDD), you would arrive at a solution like:

Yes but the files need to be processed. For example you can install test servers like mamp / lamp / wamp depending on your plateform.

Basically you need apache / php running.

If you are using Kotlin in android then you can create Extension function.
Extension Functions are defined outside of any class - yet they reference the class name and can use this. In our case we use applicationContext.
So in Utility class you can define all extension functions.

Maybe it's useful to someone: After converting my app to MVC 4 with .NET framework 4.5 and installing the framework on my server with IIS 7.0 I encountered the same 'forbidden' error mentioned in the question. I tried all options described above to no avail, when I noticed the

I've seen at lot of companies are using MongoDB for realtime analytics from application logs. Its schema-freeness really fits for application logs, where record schema tends to change time-to-time. Also, its Capped Collection feature is useful because it automatically purges old data to keep the data fit into the memory.

That is one area I really think MongoDB fits for, but MySQL/PostgreSQL is more recommended in general. There're a lot of documentations and developer resources on the web, as well as their functionality and robustness.

Something is clearly corrupt in your Laravel setup and it is very hard to track without more info about your environment. Usually these 2 commands help you resolve such issues

If nothing else helps then I recommend you to install fresh Laravel 5 app and copy your application logic over, it should take around 15 min or so.

The above solutions fix the project or work around the problem in some way. Sometimes you just don't want to fix the project and just hide the warning instead.

To do that, configure the contents of the warning panel and make sure to toggle-off the "build path"->"JRE System Path Problem" category. The UI for this dialog is a bit complex/weird/usability challenged so you might have to fiddle with a few of the options to make it do what you want.

As many of the answers already state what these annotations are used for, we'll here focus on some minor differences among them.

First the Similarity

First point worth highlighting again is that with respect to scan-auto-detection and dependency injection for BeanDefinition all these annotations (viz., @Component, @Service, @Repository, @Controller) are the same. We can use one in place of another and can still get our way around.

Differences between @Component, @Repository, @Controller and @Service

@Component

This is a general-purpose stereotype annotation indicating that the class is a spring component.

What’s special about @Component
<context:component-scan> only scans @Component and does not look for @Controller, @Service and @Repository in general. They are scanned because they themselves are annotated with @Component.

Just take a look at @Controller, @Service and @Repository annotation definitions:

Special type annotations are also scanned, because they themselves are annotated with @Component annotation, which means they are also @Components. If we define our own custom annotation and annotate it with @Component, it will also get scanned with <context:component-scan>

@Repository

This is to indicate that the class defines a data repository.

What’s special about @Repository?

In addition to pointing out, that this is an Annotation based Configuration, @Repository’s job is to catch platform specific exceptions and re-throw them as one of Spring’s unified unchecked exception. For this, we’re provided with PersistenceExceptionTranslationPostProcessor, that we are required to add in our Spring’s application context like this:

This bean post processor adds an advisor to any bean that’s annotated with @Repository so that any platform-specific exceptions are caught and then re-thrown as one of Spring’s unchecked data access exceptions.

@Controller

The @Controller annotation indicates that a particular class serves the role of a controller. The @Controller annotation acts as a stereotype for the annotated class, indicating its role.

What’s special about @Controller?

We cannot switch this annotation with any other like @Service or @Repository, even though they look same. The dispatcher scans the classes annotated with @Controller and detects methods annotated with @RequestMapping annotations within them. We can use @RequestMapping on/in only those methods whose classes are annotated with @Controller and it will NOT work with @Component, @Service, @Repository etc...

_{Note: If a class is already registered as a bean through any alternate method, like through @Bean or through @Component, @Service etc... annotations, then @RequestMapping can be picked if the class is also annotated with @RequestMapping annotation. But that's a different scenario.}

@Service

@Service beans hold the business logic and call methods in the repository layer.

What’s special about @Service?

Apart from the fact that it's used to indicate, that it's holding the business logic, there’s nothing else noticeable in this annotation; but who knows, Spring may add some additional exceptional in future.

What else?

Similar to above, in the future Spring may add special functionalities for @Service, @Controller and @Repository based on their layering conventions. Hence, it's always a good idea to respect the convention and use it in line with layers.

I guess a little more convenient and structured way is to use Html helper. In your view it can be look like:

Edit: Evidently NSAttributedString will do it, on iOS 6 and later. Instead of using an NSString to set the label's text, create an NSAttributedString, set attributes on it, then set it as the .attributedText on the label. The code you want will be something like this:

NSAttributedString's old attributedStringWithString did the same thing, but now that is being deprecated.

For historical reasons, here's my original answer:

Short answer: you can't. To change the spacing between lines of text, you will have to subclass UILabel and roll your own drawTextInRect, create multiple labels, or use a different font (perhaps one edited for a specific line height, see Phillipe's answer).

Long answer: In the print and online world, the space between lines of text is known as "leading" (rhymes with 'heading', and comes from the lead metal used decades ago). Leading is a read-only property of UIFont, which was deprecated in 4.0 and replaced by lineHeight. As far as I know, there's no way to create a font with a specific set of parameters such as lineHeight; you get the system fonts and any custom font you add, but can't tweak them once installed.

There is no spacing parameter in UILabel, either.

I'm not particularly happy with UILabel's behavior as is, so I suggest writing your own subclass or using a 3rd-party library. That will make the behavior independent of your font choice and be the most reusable solution.

I wish there was more flexibility in UILabel, and I'd be happy to be proven wrong!

First check - is the working directory the directory that the application is running in:

• Right-click on your project and select Properties.
• Click the Debug tab.
• Confirm that the Working directory is either empty or equal to the bin\debug directory.

If this isn't the problem, then ask if Autodesk.Navisworks.Timeliner.dll is requiring another DLL which is not there. If Timeliner.dll is not a .NET assembly, you can determine the required imports using the command utility DUMPBIN.

How to use the CustomScrollView?

You can add CustomScrollView as a parent to the screen in which you want to add another Scrollview as a child view, and the whole screen is scrollable. I used this for a RelativeLayout.

You can set sys.dont_write_bytecode = True in your source, but that would have to be in the first python file loaded. If you execute python somefile.py then you will not get somefile.pyc.

When you install a utility using setup.py and entry_points= you will have set sys.dont_write_bytecode in the startup script. So you cannot rely on the "default" startup script generated by setuptools.

If you start Python with python file as argument yourself you can specify -B:

somefile.pyc would not be generated anyway, but no .pyc files for other files imported too.

1. Structs cannot have an explicit parameterless constructor whereas a class can
2. Structs cannot have destructors, whereas a class can
3. Structs can't inherit from another struct or class whereas a class can inherit from another class. (Both structs and classes can implement from an interface.)

If you try to decrypt PKCS5-padded data with the wrong key, and then unpad it (which is done by the Cipher class automatically), you most likely will get the BadPaddingException (with probably of slightly less than 255/256, around 99.61%), because the padding has a special structure which is validated during unpad and very few keys would produce a valid padding.

So, if you get this exception, catch it and treat it as "wrong key".

This also can happen when you provide a wrong password, which then is used to get the key from a keystore, or which is converted into a key using a key generation function.

Of course, bad padding can also happen if your data is corrupted in transport.

That said, there are some security remarks about your scheme:

• For password-based encryption, you should use a SecretKeyFactory and PBEKeySpec instead of using a SecureRandom with KeyGenerator. The reason is that the SecureRandom could be a different algorithm on each Java implementation, giving you a different key. The SecretKeyFactory does the key derivation in a defined manner (and a manner which is deemed secure, if you select the right algorithm).

• Don't use ECB-mode. It encrypts each block independently, which means that identical plain text blocks also give always identical ciphertext blocks.

  Preferably use a secure mode of operation, like CBC (Cipher block chaining) or CTR (Counter). Alternatively, use a mode which also includes authentication, like GCM (Galois-Counter mode) or CCM (Counter with CBC-MAC), see next point.

• You normally don't want only confidentiality, but also authentication, which makes sure the message is not tampered with. (This also prevents chosen-ciphertext attacks on your cipher, i.e. helps for confidentiality.) So, add a MAC (message authentication code) to your message, or use a cipher mode which includes authentication (see previous point).

• DES has an effective key size of only 56 bits. This key space is quite small, it can be brute-forced in some hours by a dedicated attacker. If you generate your key by a password, this will get even faster. Also, DES has a block size of only 64 bits, which adds some more weaknesses in chaining modes. Use a modern algorithm like AES instead, which has a block size of 128 bits, and a key size of 128 bits (for the standard variant).

If you have ssh access, you might want to simply try du -hc /var/lib/mysql (or different datadir, as set in your my.cnf) as well.

You could use a "variable" inside the output filename, for example:

Returns the current system time formatted as yyyyMMdd_HHmm. An optional argument can be used to provide alternative formatting. The argument must be valid pattern for java.util.SimpleDateFormat.

Or you can also use a system_property or an env_var to specify something dynamic (either one needs to be specified as arguments)

You can view these with Process Explorer from sysinternals. Use the "Find -> Find Handle or DLL..." option and enter the pattern "\Device\NamedPipe\". It will show you which processes have which pipes open.

You have the line

dots = document.getElementById("txt").value;

in your file, this will set dots to be a string because the contents of txt is not restricted to a number.

to convert it to an int change the line to:

Note: The 10 here specifies decimal (base-10). Without this some browsers may not interpret the string correctly. See MDN: parseInt.

fopen() will open a resource in the same directory as the file executing the command. In other words, if you're just running the file ~/test.php, your script will create ~/myText.txt.

This can get a little confusing if you're using any URL rewriting (such as in an MVC framework) as it will likely create the new file in whatever the directory contains the root index.php file.

Also, you must have correct permissions set and may want to test before writing to the file. The following would help you debug:

I changed the variable name from "f" for "found" to "c" for "count" where appropriate as that's more expressive of what the variable actually IS.

The error message means that any method that calls showfile() must either declare that it, in turn, throws IOException, or the call must be inside a try block that catches IOException. When you call showfile(), you do neither of these; for example, your filecontent constructor neither declares IOException nor contains a try block.

The intent is that some method, somewhere, should contain a try block, and catch and handle this exception. The compiler is trying to force you to handle the exception somewhere.

By the way, this code is (sorry to be so blunt) horrible. You don't close any of the files you open, the BufferedReader always points to the first file, even though you seem to be trying to make it point to another, the loops contain off-by-one errors that will cause various exceptions, etc. When you do get this to compile, it will not work as you expect. I think you need to slow down a little.

The $type parameter is useful for stacking related families with different weights.

The @if is due to the need of supporting the Inter font (similar to Roboto), which has OTF but doesn't have SVG and EOT types at this time.

Swing vs AWT. Basically AWT came first and is a set of heavyweight UI components (meaning they are wrappers for operating system objects) whereas Swing built on top of AWT with a richer set of lightweight components.

Any serious Java UI work is done in Swing not AWT, which was primarily used for applets.

I just ran into the same problem today. As the previous answers indicate, the problem stems from the use of a color in the divider tag, rather than a drawable. However, instead of writing my own drawable xml, I prefer to use themed attributes as much as possible. You can use the android:attr/dividerHorizontal and android:attr/dividerVertical to get a predefined drawable instead:

Submodule repositories stay in a detached HEAD state pointing to a specific commit. Changing that commit simply involves checking out a different tag or commit then adding the change to the parent repository.

You can optionally tell it to be case-sensitive, and/or to allow partial-word matches.

With formulas, what you can do is:

• in a new column (say col D - cell D2), add =COUNTA(A2:C2)
• drag this formula till the end of your data (say cell D4 in our example)
• add a last formula to sum it up (e.g in cell D5): =SUM(D2:D4)

Nobody mentioned it, but you can also simply use loc with the index and column labels.

If you add 1 to the day of the month and it's the 31st day, don't you get the 32nd day of the month?

Why are times/dates not all based on UTC in Java? I would think Timezones should only be needed when used with i/o, but internally should always be used in UTC. However, the classes seem to include Timezone info which seems not only wasteful, but prone to coding errors.

Switch statements with String cases have been implemented in Java SE 7, at least 16 years after they were first requested. A clear reason for the delay was not provided, but it likely had to do with performance.

Implementation in JDK 7

The feature has now been implemented in javac with a "de-sugaring" process; a clean, high-level syntax using String constants in case declarations is expanded at compile-time into more complex code following a pattern. The resulting code uses JVM instructions that have always existed.

A switch with String cases is translated into two switches during compilation. The first maps each string to a unique integer—its position in the original switch. This is done by first switching on the hash code of the label. The corresponding case is an if statement that tests string equality; if there are collisions on the hash, the test is a cascading if-else-if. The second switch mirrors that in the original source code, but substitutes the case labels with their corresponding positions. This two-step process makes it easy to preserve the flow control of the original switch.

Switches in the JVM

For more technical depth on switch, you can refer to the JVM Specification, where the compilation of switch statements is described. In a nutshell, there are two different JVM instructions that can be used for a switch, depending on the sparsity of the constants used by the cases. Both depend on using integer constants for each case to execute efficiently.

If the constants are dense, they are used as an index (after subtracting the lowest value) into a table of instruction pointers—the tableswitch instruction.

If the constants are sparse, a binary search for the correct case is performed—the lookupswitch instruction.

In de-sugaring a switch on String objects, both instructions are likely to be used. The lookupswitch is suitable for the first switch on hash codes to find the original position of the case. The resulting ordinal is a natural fit for a tableswitch.

Both instructions require the integer constants assigned to each case to be sorted at compile time. At runtime, while the O(1) performance of tableswitch generally appears better than the O(log(n)) performance of lookupswitch, it requires some analysis to determine whether the table is dense enough to justify the space–time tradeoff. Bill Venners wrote a great article that covers this in more detail, along with an under-the-hood look at other Java flow control instructions.

Before JDK 7

Prior to JDK 7, enum could approximate a String-based switch. This uses the static valueOf method generated by the compiler on every enum type. For example:

The Regular Expression Way

If you need stricter replacement matching, PostgreSQL's regexp_replace function can match using POSIX regular expression patterns. It has the syntax regexp_replace(source, pattern, replacement [, flags ]).

I will use flags i and g for case-insensitive and global matching, respectively. I will also use \m and \M to match the beginning and the end of a word, respectively.

There are usually quite a few gotchas when performing regex replacment. Let's see how easy it is to replace a cat with a dog.

Even after all of that, there is at least one unresolved condition. For example, sentences that begin with "Cat" will be replaced with lower-case "dog" which break sentence capitalization.

Try making the field names legal by removing spaces. It's a long shot but it has actually helped me before.

I tend to create a static class containing basic functions for cases like these. They allow me write expressions like

Setting min-height: 100%; height: 1px; on the outer div causes its actual height to be at least 100%, as required. It also allows the inner div to correctly inherit the height.

One option would be:

If an InterruptedException is thrown it means that something wants to interrupt (usually terminate) that thread. This is triggered by a call to the threads interrupt() method. The wait method detects that and throws an InterruptedException so the catch code can handle the request for termination immediately and does not have to wait till the specified time is up.

If you use it in a single-threaded app (and also in some multi-threaded apps), that exception will never be triggered. Ignoring it by having an empty catch clause I would not recommend. The throwing of the InterruptedException clears the interrupted state of the thread, so if not handled properly that info gets lost. Therefore I would propose to run:

} catch (InterruptedException e) {
  Thread.currentThread().interrupt();
  // code for stopping current task so thread stops
}

Which sets that state again. After that, finish execution. This would be correct behaviour, even tough never used.

What might be better is to add this:

} catch (InterruptedException e) {
  throw new RuntimeException("Unexpected interrupt", e);

...statement to the catch block. That basically means that it must never happen. So if the code is re-used in an environment where it might happen it will complain about it.

I am running laravel 5.8 and i experienced the same problem. The solution that worked for me is as follows :

1. I used bigIncrements('id') to define my primary key.

That's because the return type for [data bytes] is a void* c-style array, not a Uint8 (which is what Byte is a typedef for).

The error is because you are trying to set an allocated array when the return is a pointer type, what you are looking for is the getBytes:length: call which would look like:

[data getBytes:&byteData length:len];

Which fills the array you have allocated with data from the NSData object.

cPickle (or _pickle) vs pickle

It's almost always preferable to actually use the cPickle module rather than pickle because the former is written in C and is much faster. There are some subtle differences between them, but in most situations they're equivalent and the C version will provide greatly superior performance. Switching to it couldn't be easier, just change the import statement to this:

import cPickle as pickle

In Python 3, cPickle was renamed _pickle, but doing this is no longer necessary since the pickle module now does it automatically—see What difference between pickle and _pickle in python 3?.

The rundown is you could use something like the following to ensure that your code will always use the C version when it's available in both Python 2 and 3:

Data stream formats (protocols)

pickle can read and write files in several different, Python-specific, formats, called protocols as described in the documentation, "Protocol version 0" is ASCII and therefore "human-readable". Versions > 0 are binary and the highest one available depends on what version of Python is being used. The default also depends on Python version. In Python 2 the default was Protocol version 0, but in Python 3.8.1, it's Protocol version 4. In Python 3.x the module had a pickle.DEFAULT_PROTOCOL added to it, but that doesn't exist in Python 2.

Fortunately there's shorthand for writing pickle.HIGHEST_PROTOCOL in every call (assuming that's what you want, and you usually do), just use the literal number -1 — similar to referencing the last element of a sequence via a negative index. So, instead of writing:

pickle.dump(obj, output, pickle.HIGHEST_PROTOCOL)

You can just write:

pickle.dump(obj, output, -1)

Either way, you'd only have specify the protocol once if you created a Pickler object for use in multiple pickle operations:

pickler = pickle.Pickler(output, -1)
pickler.dump(obj1)
pickler.dump(obj2)
   etc...

Note: If you're in an environment running different versions of Python, then you'll probably want to explicitly use (i.e. hardcode) a specific protocol number that all of them can read (later versions can generally read files produced by earlier ones).

Multiple Objects

While a pickle file can contain any number of pickled objects, as shown in the above samples, when there's an unknown number of them, it's often easier to store them all in some sort of variably-sized container, like a list, tuple, or dict and write them all to the file in a single call:

This is the perfect case for using Subjects and ReplaySubjects

I personally prefer to use ReplaySubject(1) as it allows the last stored value to be passed when new subscribers attach even when late:

Original Answer

I think this is a use case of using a Observable Subject or in Angular2 the EventEmitter.

In your service you create a EventEmitter that allows you to push values onto it. In Alpha 45 you have to convert it with toRx(), but I know they were working to get rid of that, so in Alpha 46 you may be able to simply return the EvenEmitter.

This way has the single EventEmitter that your different service functions can now push onto.

I like creating the EventEmitter stream on its own in case I need to get access to it from other components, but I could see both ways working...

I was also facing same issue & notice that this error occurred because the selector on which I am using select2 did not exist or was not loaded.

So make sure that $("#selector") exists by doing

inf is infinity - a value that is greater than any other value. -inf is therefore smaller than any other value.

nan stands for Not A Number, and this is not equal to 0.

Although positive and negative infinity can be said to be symmetric about 0, the same can be said for any value n, meaning that the result of adding the two yields nan. This idea is discussed in this math.se question.

Because nan is (literally) not a number, you can't do arithmetic with it, so the result of the second operation is also not a number (nan)

Below is the code that read the data from the text file and sends it to the handler for processing and receive the response data from the handler and read it and store the data in the string builder class

Use setwd() to change to appropriate directory. Use only filename to access any file in the working directory. Navigate a folder above by using "../<filename>".

Just be careful, .Contains() will match any substring including the string that you do not expect. For eg. new[] { "A", "B", "AA" }.Contains("A") will return you both A and AA which you might not want. I have been bitten by it.

.Any() or .Exists() is safer choice

You can use these options as well, either use \footnotesize or \tiny. This would really help in fitting big tables.

Check if it's on first. That should get rid of the warning and it'll ensure that if your code is run on older versions of PHP that magic quotes are indeed off.

Don't just remove that line of code as suggested by others unless you can be 100% sure that the code will never be run on anything before PHP 5.3.

Swift uses the same cocoa-touch API. You can call all the same methods, but they will use Swift's syntax. In this example you can do something like this:

Note the setText method isn't available. Setting the label's text with = will automatically call the setter in swift.

In PHP I like using mysqli_real_escape_string() which escapes special characters in a string for use in an SQL statement.

you must use [ngModel] instead of two way model binding with [(ngModel)]. then use manual change event with (ngModelChange). this is public rule for all two way input in components.

If you are looking to block the execution of code with call to sleep, then no, there is no method for that in JavaScript.

JavaScript does have setTimeout method. setTimeout will let you defer execution of a function for x milliseconds.

Remember, this is completely different from how sleep method, if it existed, would behave.

Technically the answer of zlovelady is preferable, but as I had only to remove items from the navigation, the approach of unsetting the not-needed navigation items in the template was the fastest/easiest way for me:

Excels time/date format is simply 1.0 equals 1 full day (starting on 1/1/1900). So 36 hours would be 1.5. If you change the format to [h]:mm, you'll see 36:00.

Therefore, if you want to work with durations, you can simply use subtraction, e.g.

I tested eAccelerator and XCache with Apache, Lighttp and Nginx with a Wordpress site. eAccelerator wins every time. The bad thing is only the missing packages for Debian and Ubuntu. After a PHP update often the server doesn't work anymore if the eAccelerator modules are not recompiled.

This is achieved through URL rewriting, not through URL obfuscating, which can't be done.

I assume this is a one-off data scrubbing exercise. Once done, ensure you add database constraints to prevent bad data in the future e.g.

I created a simple templated function, Sequence(), for generating sequences of numbers. The functionality follows the seq() function in R (link). The nice thing about this function is that it works for generating a variety of number sequences and types.

This seems obvious but I had a situation where Jackson, while serializing an object to JSON, was throwing an NPE after calling a getter, just like this one, that returns a primitive boolean which was not assigned. This led me to believe that Jackson was receiving a null and trying to call a method on it, hence the NPE. I was wrong.

Moral of the story is that when Java allocates memory for a primitive, that memory has a value even if not initialized, which Java equates to false for a boolean. By contrast, when allocating memory for an uninitialized complex object like a Boolean, it allocates only space for a reference to that object, not the object itself - there is no object in memory to refer to - so resolving that reference results in null.

I think that strictly speaking, "defaults to false" is a little off the mark. I think Java does not allocate the memory and assign it a value of false until it is explicitly set; I think Java allocates the memory and whatever value that memory happens to have is the same as the value of 'false'. But for practical purpose they are the same thing.

Refer the scripts inside the angular-cli.json (angular.json when using angular 6+) file.

Ok, that's an old question and it already have accepted answer by @siride, but that answer wasn't enough in my case, as --preserve-merges forces you to resolve all conflicts second time. My solution based on the idea by @Tobi B but with exact step-by-step commands

So we'll start on such state based on example in the question:

To query the index information of a table, you use the SHOW INDEXES statement as follows:

You can specify the database name if you are not connected to any database or you want to get the index information of a table in a different database:

According to Google Developers article, you can:

• Use asynchronous script loading, using <script src="..." async> or element.appendChild(),
• Submit the script provider to Google for whitelisting.

I had the same problem. SSMS launches the 32bit version of the import and export wizard which has this issue. Try launching the 64bit version application and it should work fine.

Realise this is an old thread, but after seeing lots of scripts like this I noticed that you can do this just using conditional formatting.

Assuming the "Status" was Column D:

Highlight cells > right click > conditional formatting. Select "Custom Formula Is" and set the formula as

=RegExMatch($D2,"Complete")

or

=OR(RegExMatch($D2,"Complete"),RegExMatch($D2,"complete"))

Edit (thanks to Frederik Schøning)

=RegExMatch($D2,"(?i)Complete") then set the range to cover all the rows e.g. A2:Z10. This is case insensitive, so will match complete, Complete or CoMpLeTe.

You could then add other rules for "Not Started" etc. The $ is very important. It denotes an absolute reference. Without it cell A2 would look at D2, but B2 would look at E2, so you'd get inconsistent formatting on any given row.

Member references are usually considered bad. They make life hard compared to member pointers. But it's not particularly unsual, nor is it some special named idiom or thing. It's just aliasing.

You can convert an int to an unsigned int. The conversion is valid and well-defined.

Since the value is negative, UINT_MAX + 1 is added to it so that the value is a valid unsigned quantity. (Technically, 2^N is added to it, where N is the number of bits used to represent the unsigned type.)

In this case, since int on your platform has a width of 32 bits, 62 is subtracted from 2³², yielding 4,294,967,234.

Unexpected 'continue' (T_CONTINUE)

continue is a statement (like for, or if) and must appear standalone. It cannot be used as part of an expression. Partly because continue doesn't return a value, but in an expression every sub-expression must result in some value so the overall expression results in a value. That's the difference between a statement and an expression.

That means continue cannot be used in a ternary statement or any statement that requires a return value.

Unexpected 'break' (T_BREAK)

Same goes for break; of course. It's also not usable in expression context, but a strict statement (on the same level as foreach or an if block).

Unexpected 'return' (T_RETURN)

Now this might be more surprising for return, but that's also just a block-level statement. It does return a value (or NULL) to the higher scope/function, but it does not evaluate as expression itself. ? That is: there's no point in doing return(return(false);;

You should be able to play with that to accomplish what you need.

Via Type.GetType you can get the type information. You can use this class to get the method information and then invoke the method (for static methods, leave the first parameter null).

You might also need the Assembly name to correctly identify the type.

If the type is in the currently executing assembly or in Mscorlib.dll, it is sufficient to supply the type name qualified by its namespace.

• Screen resolution and mouse events don't affect the results;

Google has already fixed the cookie vulnerability and is probably restricting some behaviors based on IPs.

Another interesting finding is that Google runs a VM in JavaScript that obfuscates much of reCAPTCHA code and behavior. This VM is known as botguard and is used to protect other services besides reCAPTCHA:

of course, the faq calls implementing this approach: "...very challenging" but if you succeed with it, you get a high confidence of whether the image is a copy or not, rather than a percentage likelihood.

• Make a project to put the files in.
  • File -> New -> Java Project
  • Make note of where that project was created (where your "workspace" is)
• Move your java files into the src folder which is immediately inside the project's folder.
  • Find the project INSIDE Eclipse's Package Explorer (Window -> Show View -> Package Explorer)
  • Double-click on the project, then double-click on the 'src' folder, and finally double-click on one of the java files inside the 'src' folder (they should look familiar!)
• Now you can run the files as expected.

Note the hollow 'J' in the image. That indicates that the file is not part of a project.
