I had the same problem. This happened because of core library dependency. I was using javax.* . This is what i did to fix

In File->Project Structure->Dependencies I added this as as provided file, not a compile. Then re build the project.

This problem started after upgrade of android studio. But I think it happens when you try to edit you build files manually.

I've experienced the same problem and now I just found my solution to this issue.

I found people talks about the shebang. As you see there is the shebang in my python code above. I tried these and those trials but didn't find a good solution.

I finally tried to type the shebang my self.

and removed the copied one.

And my problem solved!!!

I copied the code from the internet[1].

And I guess there had been some unseeable(?) unseen special characters in the original copied shebang statement.

I use vim, sometimes I experience similar problems.. Especially when I copied some code snippet from the internet this kind of problems happen.. Web pages have some virus special characters!! I doubt. :-)

It is used in transaction management to ensure that any errors result in the transaction being rolled back.

I've used that notation before as well, with no ill side effects and no misunderstandings. It makes sense -- a string is just an array of characters, after all.

This function will work on even very long strings, and performs pretty well (I ran it against a 100,000-character string and it returned in 589 ms). Here's an example of how to use it:

I intentionally made it a table-valued function so it could be inlined into a query if you run it against many rows at once, just use CROSS APPLY or wrap the above example in parentheses to use it as a value in the SELECT clause (you can put a column name in the function parameter position).

This is how I do it if I need a form displayed for each item, and inputs for various properties. Really depends on what I'm trying to do though.

Note that on post back only properties which had inputs available will have values. I.e., if Person had a .SSN property, it would not be available in the post action because it wasn't a field in the form.

Note that the way MVC's model binding works, it will only look for consecutive ID's. So doing something like this where you conditionally hide an item will cause it to not bind any data after the 5th item, because once it encounters a gap in the IDs, it will stop binding. Even if there were 10 people, you would only get the first 4 on the postback:

Solved. The problem is, executable is working in a different way in Linux. If you want to run an .sh file, you should add the exec-maven-plugin to the <plugins> section of your pom.xml file.

All three of these will show your MAC address(es) next to link/ether. I stumbled on this because I had just done a fresh install of Debian 9.5 from a USB stick without internet access, so I could only do a very minimal install, and received

By HTML specifications, browsers are required to canonicalize line breaks in user input to CR LF (\r\n), and I don’t think any browser gets this wrong. Reference: clause 17.13.4 Form content types in the HTML 4.01 spec.

In HTML5 drafts, the situation is more complicated, since they also deal with the processes inside a browser, not just the data that gets sent to a server-side form handler when the form is submitted. According to them (and browser practice), the textarea element value exists in three variants:

1. the raw value as entered by the user, unnormalized; it may contain CR, LF, or CR LF pair;
2. the internal value, called “API value”, where line breaks are normalized to LF (only);
3. the submission value, where line breaks are normalized to CR LF pairs, as per Internet conventions.

Is it possible that the date could actually be outside that range? Does it come from user input? If the answer to either of these questions is yes, then you should always check - otherwise you're leaving your application prone to error.

The SDK agreement and App store guidelines have been changed (circa Sept 2010).

You can now probably use any compiled language that will compile to the same static ARM object file format as Xcode produces and that will link to (only) the public API's within Apple's frameworks and libraries. However, you can not use a JIT compiled language unless you pre-compile all object code before submission to Apple for review.

You can use any interpreted language, as long as you embed the interpreter, and do not allow the interpreter or the app to download and run any interpretable code other than code built into the app bundle before submission to Apple for review, or source code typed-in by the user.

Objective C and C will likely still be the most optimal programming language for anything requiring high performance and the latest API support (* see update below), as those are the languages for which Apple targets its iOS frameworks and tunes its ARM processor chipsets. Apple also supports the use of Javascript/HTML5 inside a UIWebView. Those are the only languages for which Apple has announced support. Anything else you will have to find support elsewhere.

But, if you really want, there are at least a half dozen BASIC interpreters now available in the iOS App store, so even "Stone Age" programming methodology is now allowed.

Added: (*) As of late 2014, one can also develop apps using Apple's new Swift programming language. As of early 2015, submitted binaries must include 64-bit (arm64) support.

A few things I'd like to add here:

1. Using the mailto URL won't work in the simulator as mail.app isn't installed on the simulator. It does work on device though.

2. There is a limit to the length of the mailto URL. If the URL is larger than 4096 characters, mail.app won't launch.

I was able to solve this in Eclipse Helios by right-clicking on the project, picking "Java Build Path", "Add Library...", "JRE System Library", "Workspace default JRE (jdk1.6.0_17)" and finally "Finish".

If your application is already using Apache Commons lib, you can slightly modify the accepted answer to not create a new empty array each time:

I had same problem, now its resolved. I have tesseract2, under this folders for 32 bit and 64 bit, I copied files 64 bit folder(as my system is 64 bit) to main folder ("Tesseract2") and under bin/Debug folder. Now my solution is working fine.

Difference between Paint() and Repaint() method

Paint():

This method holds instructions to paint this component. Actually, in Swing, you should change paintComponent() instead of paint(), as paint calls paintBorder(), paintComponent() and paintChildren(). You shouldn't call this method directly, you should call repaint() instead.

Repaint():

This method can't be overridden. It controls the update() -> paint() cycle. You should call this method to get a component to repaint itself. If you have done anything to change the look of the component, but not its size ( like changing color, animating, etc. ) then call this method.

Using the idea of totem and zlangner, I have created a KnownTypeConverter that will be able to determine the most appropriate inheritor, while taking into account that json data may not have optional elements.

So, the service sends a JSON response that contains an array of documents (incoming and outgoing). Documents have both a common set of elements and different ones. In this case, the elements related to the outgoing documents are optional and may be absent.

In this regard, a base class Document was created that includes a common set of properties. Two inheritor classes are also created: - OutgoingDocument adds two optional elements "device_id" and "msg_id"; - IncomingDocument adds one mandatory element "sender_id";

The task was to create a converter that based on json data and information from KnownTypeAttribute will be able to determine the most appropriate class that allows you to save the largest amount of information received. It should also be taken into account that json data may not have optional elements. To reduce the number of comparisons of json elements and properties of data models, I decided not to take into account the properties of the base class and to correlate with json elements only the properties of the inheritor classes.

PS: In my case, if no one inheritor has not been selected by converter (this can happen if the JSON data contains information only from the base class or the JSON data does not contain optional elements from the OutgoingDocument), then an object of the OutgoingDocument class will be created, since it is listed first in the list of KnownTypeAttribute attributes. At your request, you can vary the implementation of the KnownTypeConverter in this situation.

Instead of searching fr the GUIDs, you can simply delete the GUIds tags. Then try opening the project again. The second time opening you should get a more reasonable error message.

For instance my issue was that I did not install SharePoint Developer Tools when I installed Visual Studio 2010 on my development Virtual Machine. So when I tried opennign the project after deleting the GUIDs, VS2010 told me the path it was looking for did not exist.

Therefore VS2010 was looking for a SharePoint library that was not installed. I simply had to run the install again, and then add that feature.

Vim's <leader> key is a way of creating a namespace for commands you want to define. Vim already maps most keys and combinations of Ctrl + (some key), so <leader>(some key) is where you (or plugins) can add custom behavior.

For example, if you find yourself frequently deleting exactly 3 words and 7 characters, you might find it convenient to map a command via nmap <leader>d 3dw7x so that pressing the leader key followed by d will delete 3 words and 7 characters. Because it uses the leader key as a prefix, you can be (relatively) assured that you're not stomping on any pre-existing behavior.

The default key for <leader> is \, but you can use the command :let mapleader = "," to remap it to another key (, in this case).

The documentation of MySQL says :

The benefit of the C# compiler noticing that there are multiple string concatenations here is that you don't end up creating an intermediate string of x + y which then needs to be copied again as part of the concatenation of (x + y) and z. Instead, we get it all done in one go.

EDIT: Note that the compiler can't do anything if you concatenate in a loop. For example, this code:

In JavaScript, all arrays are objects, but not all objects are arrays. The primary difference (and one that's pretty hard to mimic with straight JavaScript and plain objects) is that array instances maintain the length property so that it reflects one plus the numeric value of the property whose name is numeric and whose value, when converted to a number, is the largest of all such properties. That sounds really weird, but it just means that given an array instance, the properties with names like "0", "5", "207", and so on, are all treated specially in that their existence determines the value of length. And, on top of that, the value of length can be set to remove such properties. Setting the length of an array to 0 effectively removes all properties whose names look like whole numbers.

OK, so that's what makes an array special. All of that, however, has nothing at all to do with how the JavaScript [ ] operator works. That operator is an object property access mechanism which works on any object. It's important to note in that regard that numeric array property names are not special as far as simple property access goes. They're just strings that happen to look like numbers, but JavaScript object property names can be any sort of string you like.

Thus, the way the [ ] operator works in a for loop iterating through an array:

is really no different from the way [ ] works when accessing a property whose name is some computed string:

The [ ] operator there is doing precisely the same thing in both instances. The fact that in one case the object involved happens to be an array is unimportant, in other words.

When setting property values using [ ], the story is the same except for the special behavior around maintaining the length property. If you set a property with a numeric key on an array instance:

myArray[200] = 5;

then (assuming that "200" is the biggest numeric property name) the length property will be updated to 201 as a side-effect of the property assignment. If the same thing is done to a plain object, however:

myObj[200] = 5;

there's no such side-effect. The property called "200" of both the array and the object will be set to the value 5 in otherwise the exact same way.

One might think that because that length behavior is kind-of handy, you might as well make all objects instances of the Array constructor instead of plain objects. There's nothing directly wrong about that (though it can be confusing, especially for people familiar with some other languages, for some properties to be included in the length but not others). However, if you're working with JSON serialization (a fairly common thing), understand that array instances are serialized to JSON in a way that only involves the numerically-named properties. Other properties added to the array will never appear in the serialized JSON form. So for example:

According to bootstrap's documentation, the class is used to hide information intended only for screen readers from the layout of the rendered page.

Screen readers will have trouble with your forms if you don't include a label for every input. For these inline forms, you can hide the labels using the .sr-only class.

That worked great for me. One thing to note tho in IE you need the full color (#222222) three characters don't work.

If you use the BOOLEAN type, this is aliased to TINYINT(1). This is best if you want to use standardised SQL and don't mind that the field could contain an out of range value (basically anything that isn't 0 will be 'true').

ENUM('False', 'True') will let you use the strings in your SQL, and MySQL will store the field internally as an integer where 'False'=0 and 'True'=1 based on the order the Enum is specified.

In MySQL 5+ you can use a BIT(1) field to indicate a 1-bit numeric type. I don't believe this actually uses any less space in the storage but again allows you to constrain the possible values to 1 or 0.

All of the above will use approximately the same amount of storage, so it's best to pick the one you find easiest to work with.

In most open-source databases (most notable examples, in MySql and postgresql) the query planning is a variant of the classic algorithm appearing in Access Path Selection in a Relational Database Management System (Selinger et al, 1979). In this approach, the conditions are of two types

• conditions referring to a single table (used for filtering)
• conditions referring to two tables (treated as join conditions, regardless of where they appear)

Especially in MySql, you can see yourself, by tracing the optimizer, that the join .. on conditions are replaced during parsing by the equivalent where conditions. A similar thing happens in postgresql (though there's no way to see it through a log, you have to read the source description).

Anyway, the main point is, the difference between the two syntax variants is lost during the parsing/query-rewriting phase, it does not even reach the query planning and execution phase. So, there's no question about whether they are equivalent in terms of performance, they become identical long before they reach the execution phase.

You can use explain, to verify that they produce identical plans. Eg, in postgres, the plan will contain a join clause, even if you didn't use the join..on syntax anywhere.

Oracle and SQL server are not open source, but, as far as I know, they are based equivalence rules (similar to those in relational algebra), and they also produce identical execution plans in both cases.

Obviously, the two syntax styles are not equivalent for outer joins, for those you have to use the join ... on syntax

You are iterating through an undefined value, ie, com property of the Array's object, you should iterate through the array itself:

Also note that jQuery intelligently tries to parse the sent JSON, probably you don't need to parse the response. If you are using $.ajax(), you can set the dataType to json which tells jQuery parse the JSON for you.

Use NSError to communicate failures rather than exceptions.

Quick points about NSError:

• NSError allows for C style error codes (integers) to clearly identify the root cause and hopefully allow the error handler to overcome the error. You can wrap error codes from C libraries like SQLite in NSError instances very easily.

• NSError also has the benefit of being an object and offers a way to describe the error in more detail with its userInfo dictionary member.

• But best of all, NSError CANNOT be thrown so it encourages a more proactive approach to error handling, in contrast to other languages which simply throw the hot potato further and further up the call stack at which point it can only be reported to the user and not handled in any meaningful way (not if you believe in following OOP's biggest tenet of information hiding that is).

Wikipedia says "The Web Services Description Language is an XML-based language that provides a model for describing Web services". Put another way, WSDL is to a web service, as javadoc is to a java library.

The really sweet thing about WSDL, though, is that software can generate a client and server using WSDL.

None of these answers achieved what I was looking for, so I wound up writing something myself. I wanted to pinch-zoom an image on my website using my MacBookPro trackpad. The following code (which requires jQuery) seems to work in Chrome and Edge, at least. Maybe this will be of use to someone else.

In my win10 case I have two versions of .gitconfig

• the first one is in C:\Program Files\Git\etc
• the second is in C:\Users\<user>

The command

git config --system http.sslcainfo "C:\Program Files\Git\mingw64\ssl\certs\ca-bundle.crt"

indeed makes changes to C:\Program Files\Git\etc, but git somehow uses config in C:\Users\<user>

So with notepad I changed the second one .gitconfig and git finally took right configuration and got working.

Following with your car example: when you get a car, you just don't get a random car, I mean, you choose the color, the brand, number of seats, etc. And some stuff is also "initialize" without you choosing for it, like number of wheels or registration number.

This way, we are creating an instance of the Car class. The __init__ is the one that is handling our specific attributes (like color or brand) and its generating the other attributes, like registration_number.

It seems that since my answer has been posted the naming convention has gotten more formal. People who teach, write books, etc. speak about var declaration, and function declaration.

The easiest way in 2018 should be TextEncoder but the returned element is not byte array, it is Uint8Array. (And not all browsers support it)

socket.disconnect() is a synonym to socket.close() which disconnect the socket manually.

When you type in client side :

this will open a connection with autoConnect: true , so the lib will try to reconnect again when you disconnect the socket from server, to disable the autoConnection:

I believe many solutions already exist for this problem in server-side languages such as ASP.Net/C#.

I've outlined some of the major aspects of the problem

• Issue: We need to load data only for the desired language

  Solution: For this purpose we save data to a separate files for each language

ex. res.de.js, res.fr.js, res.en.js, res.js(for default language)

• Issue: Resource files for each page should be separated so we only get the data we need

  Solution: We can use some tools that already exist like https://github.com/rgrove/lazyload

• Issue: We need a key/value pair structure to save our data

  Solution: I suggest a javascript object instead of string/string air. We can benefit from the intellisense from an IDE

• Issue: General members should be stored in a public file and all pages should access them

  Solution: For this purpose I make a folder in the root of web application called Global_Resources and a folder to store global file for each sub folders we named it 'Local_Resources'

• Issue: Each subsystems/subfolders/modules member should override the Global_Resources members on their scope

A solution for those using Kotlin DSL

The solutions added so far are great for the OP, but can't be used with Kotlin DSL without first translating them. Here's an example of how I added a local .JAR to my build using Kotlin DSL:

Along with the many other reasons mentioned already, you could also point outh that hard-coding

sys.path.append(os.path.dirname(os.path.dirname(os.path.abspath(__file__))))

is brittle because it presumes the location of script.py -- it will only work if script.py is located in Project/package. It will break if a user decides to move/copy/symlink script.py (almost) anywhere else.

This is because, in C#, single quotes ('') denote (or encapsulate) a single character, whereas double quotes ("") are used for a string of characters. For example:

groupByKey can cause out of disk problems as data is sent over the network and collected on the reduce workers.

reduceByKey:

Data are combined at each partition, only one output for one key at each partition to send over the network. reduceByKey required combining all your values into another value with the exact same type.

This approach can be used to automate this (the following exemplary solution is in python, although obviously it can be ported to any language):

you can strip the whitespace beforehand AND save the positions of non-whitespace characters so you can use them later to find out the matched string boundary positions in the original string like the following:

You can see that with NVL we can achieve rules [1],[2]
But with COALSECE we can achieve all three rules.

I also faced this due to Tomcat version mismatching! According to the documentation, the default tomcat version of Grails 4.0.x is tomcat 8 but in the server that I was using had the tomcat version of 9.0.31!

in the build.gradle file I changed compile "org.springframework.boot:spring-boot-starter-tomcat" to provided "org.springframework.boot:spring-boot-starter-tomcat" and added/modified the cache plugin to compile "org.grails.plugins:cache", { exclude group: "org.codehaus.groovy", module: "groovy-all" } under dependencies block! [Cache plugin comes with groovy-all 2.1]

In cases where I use floated elements like that, I usually need to be sure that the container element will always be big enough for the widths of both floated elements plus the desired margin to all fit inside of it. The easiest way to do that is obviously to give both inner elements fixed widths that will fit correctly inside of the outer element like this:

If you can't do that because this is a scaling width layout, another option is to have every set of dimensions be percentages like:

Installing/Upgrading Python Using the Chocolatey Windows Package Manager

Let's say you have Python 2.7.16:

...and you want to upgrade to the (now current) 3.x.y version. There is a simple way to install a parallel installation of Python 3.x.y using a Windows package management tool.

Now that modern Windows has package management, just like Debian Linux distributions have apt-get, and RedHat has dnf: we can put it to work for us! It's called Chocolatey.

What's Chocolatey?

Chocolatey is a scriptable, command line tool that is based on .NET 4.0 and the nuget package manager baked into Visual Studio.

Installing Chocolatey

To get the Chocolatey Package Manager, you follow a process that is described at https://chocolatey.org/docs/installation#installing-chocolatey,

I'll summarize it for you here. There are basically two options: using the cmd prompt, or using the PowerShell prompt.

CMD Prompt Chocolatey Installation

Launch an administrative command prompt. On Windows 10, to do this:

• Windows+R
• Type cmd
• Press ctrl+shift+Enter

If you don't have administrator rights on the system, go to the Chocolatey website. You may not be completely out of luck and can perform a limited local install, but I won't cover that here.

Now that you're in PowerShell, hopefully running with Administrator privileges, execute the following to install Chocolatey:

Set-ExecutionPolicy Bypass -Scope Process -Force; iex ((New-Object System.Net.WebClient).DownloadString('https://chocolatey.org/install.ps1'))

PowerShell will download Chocolatey for you and launch the installation. It only takes a few moments. It looks exactly like the CMD installation, save perhaps some fancy colored text.

Either Exit PowerShell or type the following command to reload the environment variables:

refreshenv

Upgrading Python

The choco command is the same whether you use PowerShell or the cmd prompt. Launch your favorite using the instructions as above. I'll use the administrator cmd prompt:

Essentially, chocolatey will tell you "Hey, Python isn't installed" since you're coming from 2.7.x and it treats the 2.7 version as completely separate. It is only going to give you the most current version, 3.x.y (as of this writing, 3.7.2, but that will change in a few months):

Either exit out of the cmd/Powershell prompt and re-enter it, or use refreshenv then type py --version

Note that the most recent Python install will now take over when you type Python at the command line. You can run either version by using the following commands:

From here I suggest you use the Python pip utility to install whatever packages you need. For example, let's say you wanted to install Flask. The commands below first upgrade pip, then install Flask

UNIX filesystems (generally) don't store creation times. Instead, there are only access time, (data) modification time, and (inode) change time.

That being said, find has -atime -mtime -ctime predicates:

$ man 1 find

-ctime  n
        The primary shall evaluate as true if the time of last change of
        file status information subtracted from the initialization time,
        divided by 86400 (with any remainder discarded), is n.
...

Thus find -ctime 0 finds everything for which the inode has changed (e.g. includes file creation, but also counts link count and permissions and filesize change) less than an hour ago.

float : 23 bits of significand, 8 bits of exponent, and 1 sign bit.

double : 52 bits of significand, 11 bits of exponent, and 1 sign bit.
