The move_uploaded_file will return false if the file was not successfully moved you can put something into your code to alert you in a log if that happens, that should help you figure out why your having trouble renaming the file

Starting Git 2.0.1 (June 25th, 2014), a git mv will just work on a case insensitive OS.

mv: allow renaming to fix case on case insensitive filesystems

"git mv hello.txt Hello.txt" on a case insensitive filesystem always triggers "destination already exists" error, because these two names refer to the same path from the filesystem's point of view and requires the user to give "--force" when correcting the case of the path recorded in the index and in the next commit.

Detect this case and allow it without requiring "--force".

git mv hello.txt Hello.txt just works (no --force required anymore).

The other alternative is:

git config --global core.ignorecase false

And rename the file directly; git add and commit.

You could use sed:

*to do a dry-run first, replace mv at the end with echo

Explanation:

• e: optional for only 1 sed command.
• p: to print the input to sed, in this case it will be the original file name before any renaming
• @: is a replacement of / character to make sed more readable. That is, instead of using sed s/search/replace/g, use s@search@replace@g
• _.* : the underscore is an escape character to refer to the actual '.' character zero or more times (as opposed to ANY character in regex)
• -n2: indicates that there are 2 outputs that need to be passed on to mv as parameters. for each input from ls, this sed command will generate 2 output, which will then supplied to mv.

If all you're really doing is removing the second character, regardless of what it is, you can do this:

s/.//2

but your command is building a mv command and piping it to the shell for execution.

This is no more readable than your version:

find -type f | sed -n 'h;s/.//4;x;s/^/mv /;G;s/\n/ /g;p' | sh

The fourth character is removed because find is prepending each filename with "./".

you need to take out the quotes:

(You want to refer to the variables a and b, not the strings "a" and "b")

In my Dockerfile, I would like to define variables that I can use later in the Dockerfile.

You can define a variable with:

ARG myvalue=3

Spaces around the equal character are not allowed.

And use it later with:

RUN echo $myvalue > /test

SOLUTIONS

1. Sometimes the project is created before installing g++. So install g++ first and then recreate your project. This worked for me.
2. Paste the following line in CMakeCache.txt: CMAKE_CXX_COMPILER:FILEPATH=/usr/bin/c++

Note the path to g++ depends on OS. I have used my fedora path obtained using which g++

The other way to make your submodule to check out the branch is to go the .gitmodules file in the root folder and add the field branch in the module configuration as following:

branch = <branch-name-you-want-module-to-checkout>

list.sort sorts the list in place, i.e. it doesn't return a new list. Just write

newList.sort()
return newList

Use a file reader load the file and then write its contents to a string buffer.

The link above shows you an example of how to accomplish this. As other post to this answer say to load a file into memory you do not need write access as long as you do not plan on making changes to the actual file.

Check for the presence of words like "ad", "banner" or "popup" within your file. I removed these and it worked. Based on this post here: Failed to load resource under Chrome it seems like Ad Block Plus was the culprit in my case.

Here is a rough explanation of the concepts.

[ACK] is the acknowledgement that the previously sent data packet was received.

[FIN] is sent by a host when it wants to terminate the connection; the TCP protocol requires both endpoints to send the termination request (i.e. FIN).

So, suppose

• host A sends a data packet to host B
• and then host B wants to close the connection.
• Host B (depending on timing) can respond with [FIN,ACK] indicating that it received the sent packet and wants to close the session.
• Host A should then respond with a [FIN,ACK] indicating that it received the termination request (the ACK part) and that it too will close the connection (the FIN part).

However, if host A wants to close the session after sending the packet, it would only send a [FIN] packet (nothing to acknowledge) but host B would respond with [FIN,ACK] (acknowledges the request and responds with FIN).

Finally, some TCP stacks perform half-duplex termination, meaning that they can send [RST] instead of the usual [FIN,ACK]. This happens when the host actively closes the session without processing all the data that was sent to it. Linux is one operating system which does just this.

1. An event is bound to the the window scrolling

You can use join() to wait for all threads to finish. Keep all objects of threads in the global ArrayList at the time of creating threads. After that keep it in loop like below:

The query component is indicated by the first ? in a URI. "Query string" might be a synonym (this term is not used in the URI standard).

Some examples for HTTP URIs with query components:

Git 1.8.2 features a new option ,--remote, that will enable exactly this behavior. Running

git submodule update --rebase --remote

will fetch the latest changes from upstream in each submodule, rebase them, and check out the latest revision of the submodule. As the documentation puts it:

--remote

This option is only valid for the update command. Instead of using the superproject’s recorded SHA-1 to update the submodule, use the status of the submodule’s remote-tracking branch.

This is equivalent to running git pull in each submodule, which is generally exactly what you want.

Radio buttons are useful, but they don't allow you to deselect. If you want this behaviour, then consider using a drop-down/select. The following code will generate the SelectList and this binds successfully to a nullable boolean:

earl's answer gives you the solution, but I thought I'd add what the problem is that's causing your IllegalStateException. You're calling group(1) without having first called a matching operation (such as find()). This isn't needed if you're just using $1 since the replaceAll() is the matching operation.

I like to use Pirni (availble for free in Cydia on a jailbroken device), or there's also Pirni Pro now for a few bucks (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pirni). I've been using the pirni-derv script available for free on Google Code (http://code.google.com/p/pirni-derv/) mixed with Pirni and it's been working very well. I recommend it.

super late entry but GAAP is a good rule of thumb..

If your application needs to handle money values up to a trillion then this should work: 13,2 If you need to comply with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) then use: 13,4

Usually you should sum your money values at 13,4 before rounding of the output to 13,2.

Make sure that your Xcode application name doesn't contain any spaces. This was the reason it didn't work for me. So /Applications/Xcode.app works, while /Applications/Xcode 6.1.1.app doesn't work.

Note that if you have two radio button with same "name" attribute and they have "required" attribute, then adding "checked" attribute to them won't make them checked.

Example: This makes both radio button remain unchecked.

Factory classes are useful for when the object type that they return has a private constructor, when different factory classes set different properties on the returning object, or when a specific factory type is coupled with its returning concrete type.

WCF uses ServiceHostFactory classes to retrieve ServiceHost objects in different situations. The standard ServiceHostFactory is used by IIS to retrieve ServiceHost instances for .svc files, but a WebScriptServiceHostFactory is used for services that return serializations to JavaScript clients. ADO.NET Data Services has its own special DataServiceHostFactory and ASP.NET has its ApplicationServicesHostFactory since its services have private constructors.

If you only have one class that's consuming the factory, then you can just use a factory method within that class.

If there is not ISNULL() method, you can use this expression instead:

CASE WHEN fieldname IS NULL THEN 0 ELSE fieldname END

This works the same as ISNULL(fieldname, 0).

Here's how I solved the issue:

• git status (see a mix of files from a previous stash, pull, stash pop, and continued work.)
• git stash (see the needs merge issue)
• git add . (add the files so my work locally resolves my own merged)
• git stash (no error)
• git pull (no error)
• git stash pop (no error and continue working)

Asymptotic upper bound means that a given algorithm executes during the maximum amount of time, depending on the number of inputs.

Let's take a sorting algorithm as an example. If all the elements of an array are in descending order, then to sort them, it will take a running time of O(n), showing upper bound complexity. If the array is already sorted, the value will be O(1).

Generally, O-notation is used for the upper bound complexity.

Asymptotically tight bound (c₁g(n) ≤ f(n) ≤ c₂g(n)) shows the average bound complexity for a function, having a value between bound limits (upper bound and lower bound), where c₁ and c₂ are constants.

I'd recommend using a regular expressions instead of string operations for this:

The regular expression will match a line feed (\n) followed by a line containing the string Test Case followed by a number (\d), and the replacement will prepend that with the text you want to insert (variable newtext). Setting re.Global = False makes the replacement stop after the first match.

If the line breaks in your text file are encoded as CR-LF (carriage return + line feed) you'll have to change \n into \r\n and vbLf into vbCrLf.

If you have to modify several text files, you could do it in a loop like this:

In my case I ran on this problem while using Edge.js — all the problem was a JavaScript syntax error inside a C# Edge.js function definition.

Test with [char]9, such as:

Had the same problem, I fixed it.

1. Open SQL Server Configuration manager
2. Click on the SQL Server Services (on the left)
3. Double-click on the SQL Server Instance that I wanted to start
4. Select the Built-in account radio button in the Log On tab and choose Local system from the dropdown menu
5. Click apply at the bottom, then right click the instance and select Start

This is years later, working on a legacy site... For the life of me I couldn't get the ->andWhere() or ->expr()->in() solutions working.

Finally looked in the Doctrine mongodb-odb repo and found some very revealing tests:

Note: this method and the (second) method shown by bmargulies are safe to use with white space in the file/folder names.

In order to also have the - somewhat exotic - case of newlines in the file/folder names covered, you will have to resort to the -exec predicate of find like this:

find . -name '*.txt' -exec echo "{}" \;

The {} is the placeholder for the found item and the \; is used to terminate the -exec predicate.

And for the sake of completeness let me add another variant - you gotta love the *nix ways for their versatility:

find . -name '*.txt' -print0|xargs -0 -n 1 echo

This would separate the printed items with a \0 character that isn't allowed in any of the file systems in file or folder names, to my knowledge, and therefore should cover all bases. xargs picks them up one by one then ...

I faced the same issue because I was querying db for more than 1000 iterations. I have used try and finally in my code. But was still getting error.

To solve this I just logged into oracle db and ran below query:

And this solved my problem immediately.

The width is being restricted by the size of the body. If you make the width of the body larger you will see it stays on one line with the background color.

A loop invariant is a condition [among program variables] that is necessarily true immediately before and immediately after each iteration of a loop. (Note that this says nothing about its truth or falsity part way through an iteration.)

By itself, a loop invariant doesn't do much. However, given an appropriate invariant, it can be used to help prove the correctness of an algorithm. The simple example in CLRS probably has to do with sorting. For example, let your loop invariant be something like, at the start of the loop, the first i entries of this array are sorted. When you do from socket import * python is loading a socket module to the current namespace. Thus you can use module's members as if they are defined within your current python module.

When you do import socket, a module is loaded in a separate namespace. When you are accessing its members, you should prefix them with a module name. For example, if you want to refer to a socket class, you will need to write client_socket = socket.socket(socket.AF_INET,socket.SOCK_DGRAM).

As for the problem with timeout - all you need to do is to change except socket.Timeouterror: to except timeout:, since timeout class is defined inside socket module and you have imported all its members to your namespace.

Why not just use $('#msform').hide()? Behind the scene jQuery's hide and show just set display: none or display: block.

hide() will not change the style if already hidden.

based on the comment below, you are removing all style with removeAttr("style"), in which case call hide() immediately after that.

The important thing to note when using your own error handler is that it will bypass the error_reporting setting and pass all errors (notices, warnings, etc.) to your error handler. Suppressing the warning

Another possibility is to suppress the call with the @ operator and check the return value of dns_get_record() afterwards. But I'd advise against this as errors/warnings are triggered to be handled, not to be suppressed.

I remember reading that there are 2 kinds of Switch statements in Java bytecode. (I think it was in 'Java Performance Tuning' One is a very fast implementation which uses the switch statement's integer values to know the offset of the code to be executed. This would require all integers to be consecutive and in a well-defined range. I'm guessing that using all the values of an Enum would fall in that category too.

I agree with many other posters though... it may be premature to worry about this, unless this is very very hot code.

__proto__ is internal property of an object, pointing to its prototype. Current standards provide an equivalent Object.getPrototypeOf(O) method, though de facto standard __proto__ is quicker.

You can find instanceof relationships by comparing a function's prototype to an object's __proto__ chain, and you can break these relationships by changing prototype.

This typically happens when you have an attribute of targetFramework="4.0" in the web.config but the App Pool is set to run ASP.NET 2.0. The targetFramework attribute is entirely unrecognized by ASP.NET 2.0 - so changing it to 2.0 won't have the desired effect.

I don't believe a switch/case is any faster than a series of if/elseif's. They do the same thing, but if/elseif's you can check multiple variables. You cannot use a switch/case on more than one value.

• "+" is handled as space only in the query string

• Anchor "#a" is not transferred to the server. Only the browser can work with it.

• If the url-pattern in the servlet mapping does not end with * (for example /test or *.jsp), getPathInfo() returns null.

If Spring MVC is used

• Method getPathInfo() returns null.

• Method getServletPath() returns the part between the context path and the session ID. In the example above the value would be /test?/a?+b

Another way that I've figured out in chrome is even simpler, but man is it a hack!

This alone should fill the rest of the line horizontally, as table-cells do. However, you get some strange issues with it going over 100% of its parent, setting the width to a percent value fixes it though.

With inspiration from MacFreak, I put together something that works for me.

This js method prevents hover from sticking on an ipad, and prevents the click registering as two clicks in some cases. In CSS, if you have any :hover psudo classes in your css, change them to .hover For example .some-class:hover to .some-class.hover

I actually had a situation where I needed to run multiple commands one after another from a package.json preinstall script in a way that would work on both Windows and Linux/OSX, so I couldn't rely on a non-core module.

So this is what I came up with:

You just have to replace the break with a return statement.

Think of the code inside the Foreach-Object as an anonymous function. If you have loops inside the function, just use the control keywords applying to the construction (continue, break, ...).

The solution takes two steps!

First, complete the user, domain, and proxy fields in cntlm.ini. The username and domain should probably be whatever you use to log in to Windows at your office, eg.

A lot of the answers here are suggesting to use "portrait" in your AndroidManifest.xml file. This might seem like a good solution - but as noted in the documentation, you are singling out devices that may only have landscape. You are also forcing certain devices (that work best in landscape) to go into portrait, not getting the proper orientation.

My suggestion is to use "nosensor" instead. This will leave the device to use its default preferred orientation, will not block any purchases/downloads on Google Play, and will ensure the sensor doesn't mess up your (NDK, in my case) game.

I got into this mess twice and after searching long and hard and following what others did absolutely nothing worked for me but to uninstall and install IIS back once on Windows 7 machine and then on Windows server 2012 R2.

Use the 'right' attribute alongside fixed position styling. The value provided acts as an offset from the right of the window boundary.

Code example:

As to the multithreaded environments, you don't need to worry about this if you acquire and close the connection and the statement in the shortest possible scope inside the same method block according the normal JDBC idiom using try-with-resources statement as shown in above snippets.

If those batches are transactional, then you'd like to turn off autocommit of the connection and only commit the transaction when all batches are finished. Otherwise it may result in a dirty database when the first bunch of batches succeeded and the later not.

Java generics are little more than syntactic sugar for Object casts. To demonstrate:

The only instance where generic type information is retained at runtime is with Field.getGenericType() if interrogating a class's members via reflection.

You can use show innodb status (or show engine innodb status for newer versions of mysql) to get a list of all the actions currently pending inside the InnoDB engine. Buried in the wall of output will be the transactions, and what internal process ID they're running under.

You won't be able to force a commit or rollback of those transactions, but you CAN kill the MySQL process running them, which does essentially boil down to a rollback. It kills the processes' connection and causes MySQL to clean up the mess its left.

A personal example using mysql 5.5: I had an inner join between 2 tables, one of 3 million rows and one of 10 thousand rows.

When using a like on an index as below(no wildcards), it took about 30 seconds:

where login like '12345678'

using 'explain' I get:

When using an '=' on the same query, it took about 0.1 seconds:

where login ='12345678'

Using 'explain' I get:

As you can see, the like completely cancelled the index seek, so query took 300 times more time.

This is what I was also facing. The problem came from the fact that I changed my SQLOLEDB.1 provider to SQLNCLI11 without mentioning the compatibility mode in the connection string. When I set this DataTypeCompatibility=80; in the connection string, I got the problem solved.

RFC 2616 (Hypertext Transfer Protocol — HTTP/1.1) states there is no limit to the length of a query string (section 3.2.1). RFC 3986 (Uniform Resource Identifier — URI) also states there is no limit, but indicates the hostname is limited to 255 characters because of DNS limitations (section 2.3.3).

While the specifications do not specify any maximum length, practical limits are imposed by web browser and server software. Based on research which is unfortunately no longer available on its original site (it leads to a shady seeming loan site) but which can still be found at Internet Archive Of Boutell.com:

• Microsoft Internet Explorer (Browser)
  Microsoft states that the maximum length of a URL in Internet Explorer is 2,083 characters, with no more than 2,048 characters in the path portion of the URL. Attempts to use URLs longer than this produced a clear error message in Internet Explorer.

• Microsoft Edge (Browser)
  The limit appears to be around 81578 characters. See URL Length limitation of Microsoft Edge

• Chrome
  It stops displaying the URL after 64k characters, but can serve more than 100k characters. No further testing was done beyond that.

• Firefox (Browser)
  After 65,536 characters, the location bar no longer displays the URL in Windows Firefox 1.5.x. However, longer URLs will work. No further testing was done after 100,000 characters.

• Safari (Browser)
  At least 80,000 characters will work. Testing was not tried beyond that.

• Opera (Browser)
  At least 190,000 characters will work. Stopped testing after 190,000 characters. Opera 9 for Windows continued to display a fully editable, copyable and pasteable URL in the location bar even at 190,000 characters.

• Apache (Server)
  Early attempts to measure the maximum URL length in web browsers bumped into a server URL length limit of approximately 4,000 characters, after which Apache produces a "413 Entity Too Large" error. The current up to date Apache build found in Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 was used. The official Apache documentation only mentions an 8,192-byte limit on an individual field in a request.

• Microsoft Internet Information Server (Server)
  The default limit is 16,384 characters (yes, Microsoft's web server accepts longer URLs than Microsoft's web browser). This is configurable.

• Perl HTTP::Daemon (Server)
  Up to 8,000 bytes will work. Those constructing web application servers with Perl's HTTP::Daemon module will encounter a 16,384 byte limit on the combined size of all HTTP request headers. This does not include POST-method form data, file uploads, etc., but it does include the URL. In practice this resulted in a 413 error when a URL was significantly longer than 8,000 characters. This limitation can be easily removed. Look for all occurrences of 16x1024 in Daemon.pm and replace them with a larger value. Of course, this does increase your exposure to denial of service attacks.

Original post: I found jbtule's answer a bit complicated for a quick and dirty secured AES string encryption and Brett's answer had a bug with the Initialization Vector being a fixed value making it vulnerable to padding attacks, so I fixed Brett's code and added a random IV that is added to the chipered string, creating a different encrypted value each and every encryption of the same value:

Replace EncryptionKey with your key. In my implementation, the key is being saved in the configuration file (web.config\app.config) as you shouldn't save it hard coded. The configuration file should be also encrypted so the key won't be saved as clear text in it.

PowerMock extends Mockito (so you don't have to learn a new mock framework), providing additional functionality. This includes the ability to have a constructor return a mock. Powerful, but a little complicated - so use it judiciously.

You use a different Mock runner. And you need to prepare the class that is going to invoke the constructor. (Note that this is a common gotcha - prepare the class that calls the constructor, not the constructed class)

You have to correctly override method equals() from class Object

Edit: I think that my first response was misunderstood probably because I was not too precise. So I decided to to add more explanations.

Why do you have to override equals()? Well, because this is in the domain of a developer to decide what does it mean for two objects to be equal. Reference equality is not enough for most of the cases.

For example, imagine that you have a HashMap whose keys are of type Person. Each person has name and address. Now, you want to find detailed bean using the key. The problem is, that you usually are not able to create an instance with the same reference as the one in the map. What you do is to create another instance of class Person. Clearly, operator == will not work here and you have to use equals().

But now, we come to another problem. Let's imagine that your collection is very large and you want to execute a search. The naive implementation would compare your key object with every instance in a map using equals(). That, however, would be very expansive. And here comes the hashCode(). As others pointed out, hashcode is a single number that does not have to be unique. The important requirement is that whenever equals() gives true for two objects, hashCode() must return the same value for both of them. The inverse implication does not hold, which is a good thing, because hashcode separates our keys into kind of buckets. We have a small number of instances of class Person in a single bucket. When we execute a search, the algorithm can jump right away to a correct bucket and only now execute equals for each instance. The implementation for hashCode() therefore must distribute objects as evenly as possible across buckets.

There is one more point. Some collections require a proper implementation of a hashCode() method in classes that are used as keys not only for performance reasons. The examples are: HashSet and LinkedHashSet. If they don’t override hashCode(), the default Object hashCode() method will allow multiple objects that you might consider "meaningfully equal" to be added to your "no duplicates allowed" set.

The way Facebook does this is pretty interesting.

A common method of doing such notifications is to poll a script on the server (using AJAX) on a given interval (perhaps every few seconds), to check if something has happened. However, this can be pretty network intensive, and you often make pointless requests, because nothing has happened.

The way Facebook does it is using the comet approach, rather than polling on an interval, as soon as one poll completes, it issues another one. However, each request to the script on the server has an extremely long timeout, and the server only responds to the request once something has happened. You can see this happening if you bring up Firebug's Console tab while on Facebook, with requests to a script possibly taking minutes. It is quite ingenious really, since this method cuts down immediately on both the number of requests, and how often you have to send them. You effectively now have an event framework that allows the server to 'fire' events.

Behind this, in terms of the actual content returned from those polls, it's a JSON response, with what appears to be a list of events, and info about them. It's minified though, so is a bit hard to read.

In terms of the actual technology, AJAX is the way to go here, because you can control request timeouts, and many other things. I'd recommend (Stack overflow cliche here) using jQuery to do the AJAX, it'll take a lot of the cross-compability problems away. In terms of PHP, you could simply poll an event log database table in your PHP script, and only return to the client when something happens? There are, I expect, many ways of implementing this.

There appear to be a few implementations of comet libraries in PHP, but to be honest, it really is very simple, something perhaps like the following pseudocode:

In your database table list it should show View in Type column. To edit View:

Of course it may be just an empty table, but when you open the structure, you will know whether it's a table or a view.

I don't think there is a way to tell which program to use from just the .db extension. It could even be an encrypted database which can't be opened. You can MS Access, or a sqlite manager.

Edit: Try to rename the file to .txt and open it with a text editor. The first couple of words in the file could tell you the DB Type.

If it is a SQLite database, it will start with "SQLite format 3"

Syntax is about the structure or the grammar of the language. It answers the question: how do I construct a valid sentence? All languages, even English and other human (aka "natural") languages have grammars, that is, rules that define whether or not the sentence is properly constructed.

Here are some C language syntax rules:

• separate statements with a semi-colon
• enclose the conditional expression of an IF statement inside parentheses
• group multiple statements into a single statement by enclosing in curly braces
• data types and variables must be declared before the first executable statement (this feature has been dropped in C99. C99 and latter allow mixed type declarations.)

Semantics is about the meaning of the sentence. It answers the questions: is this sentence valid? If so, what does the sentence mean? For example:

x++;                  // increment
foo(xyz, --b, &qrs);  // call foo

are syntactically valid C statements. But what do they mean? Is it even valid to attempt to transform these statements into an executable sequence of instructions? These questions are at the heart of semantics.

Consider the ++ operator in the first statement. First of all, is it even valid to attempt this?

• If x is a float data type, this statement has no meaning (according to the C language rules) and thus it is an error even though the statement is syntactically correct.
• If x is a pointer to some data type, the meaning of the statement is to "add sizeof(some data type) to the value at address x and store the result into the location at address x".
• If x is a scalar, the meaning of the statement is "add one to the value at address x and store the result into the location at address x".

Finally, note that some semantics cannot be determined at compile-time and must therefore must be evaluated at run-time. In the ++ operator example, if x is already at the maximum value for its data type, what happens when you try to add 1 to it? Another example: what happens if your program attempts to dereference a pointer whose value is NULL?

In summary, syntax is the concept that concerns itself only whether or not the sentence is valid for the grammar of the language . Semantics is about whether or not the sentence has a valid meaning.

Worth mentioning that there are many different solutions which offer two way binding and play really nicely.

Depending on how the server is connected, you might also have to specify the following parameter. As part of the initial JMX connection, jconsole connects up to the RMI port to determine which port the JMX server is running on. When you initially start up a JMX enabled application, it looks its own hostname to determine what address to return in that initial RMI transaction. As an aside, my SimpleJMX package allows you to define both the JMX server and the RMI port or set them both to the same port. The above port defined with com.sun.management.jmxremote.port is actually the RMI port. This tells the client what port the JMX server is running on.

You can pass an access level to the @Getter and @Setter annotations. This is useful to make getters or setters protected or private. It can also be used to override the default.

With @Data, you have public access to the accessors by default. You can now use the special access level NONE to completely omit the accessor, like this:

Besides adding key/values to existing arrays using the + sign you could do an array_replace.

We can use an optional merger function also in case of same key collision. For example, If two or more persons have the same getLast() value, we can specify how to merge the values. If we not do this, we could get IllegalStateException. Here is the example to achieve this...

The solution was a lot easier than what I thought.

simply, open the following path to your php5-fpm

Native tskill <pid> (or tskill.exe <pid> ) worked for me on Windows 10 where no other native answer did.

In my case, I had some chrome.exe processes for which task manager's 'End Task' was working, but neither taskkill /F /T /PID <pid> nor powershell's kill -id <pid> worked (even with both shells run as admin).

This is very strange as taskkill is purported to be a better-api-and-does-more version of tskill.

just to toss it out for posterity: it can sometimes be preferable to generate a random string using an initial character set string. This is useful if the string is supposed to be entered manually by a human; excluding 0, O, 1, and l can help reduce user error.

The main problem with this option is that ORDER BY is fixed. So if you want a different order, you would have to create another view.

UPDATE

There is another problem with this approach: if you try to filter your data, it won't work as expected. For example, if you do:

WHERE becomes limited to those data which are in the rows between 10 and 20 (instead of searching the whole dataset and limiting the output).

The solutions above do not work on Linux.

Using .NET Core, attempting to execute new Uri("/home/foo/README.md") results in an exception:

When you first instantiate the $objPHPExcel, it already has a single sheet (sheet 0); you're then adding a new sheet (which will become sheet 1), but setting active sheet to sheet $i (when $i is 0)... so you're renaming and populating the original worksheet created when you instantiated $objPHPExcel rather than the one you've just added... this is your title "0".

You're also using the createSheet() method, which both creates a new worksheet and adds it to the workbook... but you're also adding it again yourself which is effectively adding the sheet in two position.

So first iteration, you already have sheet0, add a new sheet at both indexes 1 and 2, and edit/title sheet 0. Second iteration, you add a new sheet at both indexes 3 and 4, and edit/title sheet 1, but because you have the same sheet at indexes 1 and 2 this effectively writes to the sheet at index 2. Third iteration, you add a new sheet at indexes 5 and 6, and edit/title sheet 2, overwriting your earlier editing/titleing of sheet 1 which acted against sheet 2 instead.... and so on

The kind of floating-point math that can be implemented in a digital computer necessarily uses an approximation of the real numbers and operations on them. (The standard version runs to over fifty pages of documentation and has a committee to deal with its errata and further refinement.)

This approximation is a mixture of approximations of different kinds, each of which can either be ignored or carefully accounted for due to its specific manner of deviation from exactitude. It also involves a number of explicit exceptional cases at both the hardware and software levels that most people walk right past while pretending not to notice.

If you need infinite precision (using the number p, for example, instead of one of its many shorter stand-ins), you should write or use a symbolic math program instead.

But if you're okay with the idea that sometimes floating-point math is fuzzy in value and logic and errors can accumulate quickly, and you can write your requirements and tests to allow for that, then your code can frequently get by with what's in your FPU.

Just for sake of completeness (maybe someone else won't have to implement it from scratch):

We've implemented our own small library, as everyone else. It's supposed to make things easier, so that our developers don't have to reimplement it each time. It would be great if spring security would provide support of rbac out of the box, as this approach is much better than the default permission based one.

Have a look at Github (OSS, MIT license) to see if it suits your needs. It's basically only addressing the role <-> privileges mapping. The missing piece, you'll have to provide on your own is basically the user <-> roles mapping, e.g. by mapping groups (racf/ad groups) to roles (1:1) or by implementing an additional mapping. That one's different in each project, so it doesn't make sense to provide some implementation.

We've basically used this internally, so that we can start with rbac from the beginning. We can still replace it with some other implementation later on, if the application is growing, but it's important for us to get the setup right at the beginning.

If you don't use rbac, there's a good chance, that the permissions are scattered throughout the codebase and you'll have a hard time to extract/group those (into roles) later on. The generated graphs do also help to reason about it/restructure it later on.

Write if " " in word: instead of if " " in word == True:.

Explanation:

• In Python, for example a < b < c is equivalent to (a < b) and (b < c).
• The same holds for any chain of comparison operators, which include in!
• Therefore ' ' in w == True is equivalent to (' ' in w) and (w == True) which is not what you want.

Apache part - enabling you to open https://localhost/xyz

There is the config file xampp/apache/conf/extra/httpd-ssl.conf which contains all the ssl specific configuration. It's fairly well documented, so have a read of the comments and take look at http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/ssl/. The files starts with <IfModule ssl_module>, so it only has an effect if the apache has been started with its mod_ssl module.

Open the file xampp/apache/conf/httpd.conf in an editor and search for the line

#LoadModule ssl_module modules/mod_ssl.so

remove the hashmark, save the file and re-start the apache. The webserver should now start with xampp's basic/default ssl confguration; good enough for testing but you might want to read up a bit more about mod_ssl in the apache documentation.

PHP part - enabling adldap to use ldap over ssl

adldap needs php's openssl extension to use "ldap over ssl" connections. The openssl extension ships as a dll with xampp. You must "tell" php to load this dll, e.g. by having an extension=nameofmodule.dll in your php.ini
Run

echo 'ini: ', get_cfg_var('cfg_file_path');

It should show you which ini file your php installation uses (may differ between the php-apache-module and the php-cli version).
Open this file in an editor and search for

Using the builtin Date.parse function which accepts input in ISO8601 format and directly returns the desired integer return value:

You could put a crontab file in /etc/cron.d which would run a script that would run your command and then delete the crontab file in /etc/cron.d. Of course, that means your script would need to run as root.

Basically in JDBC most of these properties are not configurable in the API like that, rather they depend on implementation. The way JDBC handles this is by allowing the connection URL to be different per vendor.

So what you do is register the driver so that the JDBC system can know what to do with the URL:

In more sophisticated JDBC, you get involved with connection pools and the like, and application servers often have their own way of registering drivers in JNDI and you look up a DataSource from there, and call getConnection on it.

EDIT: One more thought, technically just having a line of code which does Class.forName("com.mysql.jdbc.Driver") should be enough, as the class should have its own static initializer which registers a version, but sometimes a JDBC driver doesn't, so if you aren't sure, there is little harm in registering a second one, it just creates a duplicate object in memeory.

The name of the interface should describe the abstract concept the interface represents. Any implementation class should have some sort of specific traits that can be used to give it a more specific name.

If there is only one implementation class and you can't think of anything that makes it specific (implied by wanting to name it -Impl), then it looks like there is no justification to have an interface at all.

The easiest way out to refresh is using the refresh() function. Which goes like:

Since RestTemplate instances often need to be customized before being used, Spring Boot does not provide any single auto-configured RestTemplate bean.

RestTemplateBuilder offers proper way to configure and instantiate the rest template bean, for example for basic auth or interceptors.

I found this problem too. Because centos service depend on multi-user.target for none desktop Cenots 7.2. so I delete multi-user.target from my .service file. It had missed.
