If you have gem installed and ruby and not able to install rails, then install ruby dev lib.
sudo apt-get install ruby-dev
It works for me. I have tried the different solution.
On C++17 you can by this way :
#include <filesystem>
#include <iostream>
#include <vector>
namespace fs = std::filesystem;
int main()
{
std::ios_base::sync_with_stdio(false);
for (const auto &entry : fs::recursive_directory_iterator(".")) {
if (entry.path().extension() == ".png") {
std::cout << entry.path().string() << std::endl;
}
}
return 0;
}
Tray to add text with html value to textarea but it wil not works

$('#action').val('targets_update');
$('#targets_submit_btn').val('Opslaan');
$('#callcenter_targets_id').val($(this).attr("callcenter_targets_id"));
$('#targets_title').val($(this).attr("title"));
$("#targets_content").append($(this).attr("content"));
tinymce.init({

setup: function (editor) {
editor.on('change', function () {
tinymce.triggerSave();
});
},

Here is my solution in swift. The subclass should work for both attributedText and text property and for characterSpacing + lineSpacing. It retains the spacing if a new string or attributedString is set.
open class UHBCustomLabel : UILabel {
@IBInspectable open var characterSpacing:CGFloat = 1 {
didSet {
updateWithSpacing()
}
}
@IBInspectable open var lines_spacing:CGFloat = -1 {
didSet {
updateWithSpacing()
}
}
open override var text: String? {
set {
super.text = newValue
updateWithSpacing()
}
get {
return super.text
}
}
open override var attributedText: NSAttributedString? {
set {
super.attributedText = newValue
updateWithSpacing()
}
get {
return super.attributedText
}
}
func updateWithSpacing() {
let attributedString = self.attributedText == nil ? NSMutableAttributedString(string: self.text ?? "") : NSMutableAttributedString(attributedString: attributedText!)
attributedString.addAttribute(NSKernAttributeName, value: self.characterSpacing, range: NSRange(location: 0, length: attributedString.length))
if lines_spacing >= 0 {
let paragraphStyle = NSMutableParagraphStyle()
paragraphStyle.lineSpacing = lines_spacing
paragraphStyle.alignment = textAlignment
attributedString.addAttribute(NSParagraphStyleAttributeName, value:paragraphStyle, range:NSMakeRange(0, attributedString.length))
}
super.attributedText = attributedString
}
}
Because the Method2
is static, all you have to do is call like this:
public class AllMethods
{
public static void Method2()
{
// code here
}
}
class Caller
{
public static void Main(string[] args)
{
AllMethods.Method2();
}
}
If they are in different namespaces you will also need to add the namespace of AllMethods
to caller.cs in a using
statement.
If you wanted to call an instance method (non-static), you'd need an instance of the class to call the method on. For example:
public class MyClass
{
public void InstanceMethod()
{
// ...
}
}
public static void Main(string[] args)
{
var instance = new MyClass();
instance.InstanceMethod();
}
Update
As of C# 6, you can now also achieve this with using static
directive to call static methods somewhat more gracefully, for example:
// AllMethods.cs
namespace Some.Namespace
{
public class AllMethods
{
public static void Method2()
{
// code here
}
}
}
// Caller.cs
using static Some.Namespace.AllMethods;
namespace Other.Namespace
{
class Caller
{
public static void Main(string[] args)
{
Method2(); // No need to mention AllMethods here
}
}
}

I don't recommend changing apaches port itself, because it will need you remember changed port. Its also headache to tell your co-developers about port change.
Go to windows features(By searching turn on or off windows features) -> Find Internet information services(IIS) and uncheck if it checked. Please make a note when you disable it FTP server/ client will not work.(incase you are using it, change httpd.conf as giovannipds 's answer) -> If still port is not free, then change skype port through skype settings.
I got this problem today while installing SugarCRM (a free CRM).
The system was not able to connect to the database using the root user. I could definitively log in as root from the console... so what was the problem?
I found out that in my situation, I was getting exactly the same error, but that was because the password was sent to mysql directly from the $_POST
data, in other words, the <
character from my password was sent to mysql as <
which means the password was wrong.
Everything else did not help a bit. The list of users in mysql were correct, including the anonymous user (which appears after the root entries.)

I wrote this function for one my blog site(difference between a past date and server's date). It will give you an output like this
"49 seconds ago", "20 minutes ago", "21 hours ago" and so on
I have used a function that would get me the difference between the date passed and the server's date.
<?php
//Code written by purpledesign.in Jan 2014
function dateDiff($date)
{
$mydate= date("Y-m-d H:i:s");
$theDiff="";
//echo $mydate;//2014-06-06 21:35:55
$datetime1 = date_create($date);
$datetime2 = date_create($mydate);
$interval = date_diff($datetime1, $datetime2);
//echo $interval->format('%s Seconds %i Minutes %h Hours %d days %m Months %y Year Ago')."<br>";
$min=$interval->format('%i');
$sec=$interval->format('%s');
$hour=$interval->format('%h');
$mon=$interval->format('%m');
$day=$interval->format('%d');
$year=$interval->format('%y');
if($interval->format('%i%h%d%m%y')=="00000") {
//echo $interval->format('%i%h%d%m%y')."<br>";
return $sec." Seconds";
} else if($interval->format('%h%d%m%y')=="0000"){
return $min." Minutes";
} else if($interval->format('%d%m%y')=="000"){
return $hour." Hours";
} else if($interval->format('%m%y')=="00"){
return $day." Days";
} else if($interval->format('%y')=="0"){
return $mon." Months";
} else{
return $year." Years";
}
}
?>
Save it as a file suppose "date.php". Call the function from another page like this
<?php
require('date.php');
$mydate='2014-11-14 21:35:55';
echo "The Difference between the server's date and $mydate is:<br> ";
echo dateDiff($mydate);
?>
Of course you can modify the function to pass two values.
To resolve this, you should open up a terminal window and type this command:
sudo chown -R user ~/.composer
(with user
being your current user, in your case, kramer65
)
After you have ran this command, you should have permission to run your composer global require command.
You may also need to remove the .composer file from the current directory, to do this open up a terminal window and type this command:
sudo rm -rf .composer
If you need the construct for a quick example to play with, use the : operator.
But if you are creating a vector/range of numbers dynamically, then use seq() instead.
Let's say you are creating the vector/range of numbers from a to b with a:b, and you expect it to be an increasing series. Then, if b is evaluated to be less than a, you will get a decreasing sequence but you will never be notified about it, and your program will continue to execute with the wrong kind of input.
In this case, if you use seq(), you can set the sign of the by argument to match the direction of your sequence, and an error will be raised if they do not match. For example,
seq(a, b, -1)
will raise an error for a=2, b=6, because the coder expected a decreasing sequence.
Two ways to achieve it.
1) Need to start the dialer via code, without user interaction.
You need Action_Dial
,
use below code it will open Dialer with number specified
Intent intent = new Intent(Intent.ACTION_DIAL);
intent.setData(Uri.parse("tel:0123456789"));
startActivity(intent);
The 'tel:' prefix is required, otherwhise the following exception will be thrown: java.lang.IllegalStateException: Could not execute method of the activity.
Action_Dial doesn't require any permission.
If you want to initiate the call directly without user's interaction , You can use action Intent.ACTION_CALL
. In this case, you must add the following permission in your AndroidManifest.xml:
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.CALL_PHONE" />
2) Need user to click on Phone_Number string and start the call.
android:autoLink="phone"
You need to use TextView with below property.
android:autoLink="phone" android:linksClickable="true" a textView property
You don't need to use intent or to get permission via this way.
If you would like to not inflate another view just to indicate progress then do the following:
Android will take care the progress bar's visibility.
For example, in activity_main.xml
:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<RelativeLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
xmlns:tools="http://schemas.android.com/tools"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent"
android:orientation="vertical"
tools:context="com.fcchyd.linkletandroid.MainActivity">
<ListView
android:id="@+id/list_view_xml"
android:layout_width="match_parent"
android:layout_height="match_parent"
android:divider="@color/colorDivider"
android:dividerHeight="1dp" />
<ProgressBar
android:id="@+id/loading_progress_xml"
style="?android:attr/progress"
android:layout_width="wrap_content"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"
android:layout_centerHorizontal="true"
android:layout_centerVertical="true" />
</RelativeLayout>
And in MainActivity.java
:
package com.fcchyd.linkletandroid;
import android.os.Bundle;
import android.support.v7.app.AppCompatActivity;
import android.util.Log;
import android.widget.ArrayAdapter;
import android.widget.ListView;

arraylistLink = new ArrayList<>();
Retrofit retrofit = new Retrofit.Builder()

HttpsInterface HttpsInterface = retrofit

call = HttpsInterface.httpGETpageNumber(1);
call.enqueue(new Callback<Links>() {

arraylistLink = response.body().getLinks();
String[] simpletTitlesArray = new String[arraylistLink.size()];
for (int i = 0; i < simpletTitlesArray.length; i++) {
simpletTitlesArray[i] = arraylistLink.get(i).getTitle();
}
ArrayAdapter<String> simpleAdapter = new ArrayAdapter<>(MainActivity.this, android.R.layout.simple_list_item_1, simpletTitlesArray);

With C++17, you can use std::from_chars
, which is a lighter weight faster alternative to std::stof
and std::stod
. It doesn't involve any memory allocation or look at the locale, and it is non-throwing.
The std::from_chars
function returns a value of type from_chars_result
, which is basically a struct with two fields:
struct from_chars_result {
const char* ptr;
std::errc ec;
};
By inspecting ec
we can tell if the conversion was successful:
#include <iostream>
#include <charconv>
int main()
{
const std::string str { "12345678901234.123456" };
double value = 0.0;
auto [p, ec] = std::from_chars(str.data(), str.data() + str.size(), value);
if (ec != std::errc()) {
std::cout << "Couldn't convert value";
}
return 0;
}
Open your csproj file in notepad (or notepad++) Find the line:
<Import Project="$(MSBuildToolsPath)\Microsoft.CSharp.targets" />
and change it to
<Import Project="$(MSBuildBinPath)\Microsoft.CSharp.targets" />
In your view template, set a default value:
f.text_field :password, :value => "password"
In your Javascript (assuming jquery here):
$(document).ready(function() {
//add a handler to remove the text
});
From a maintainability standpoint, it's much simpler to manage one item in one file, than it is to manage multiple items in possibly multiple files.
Separating your styling will help make your life much easier, especially when job duties are distributed amongst different individuals. Reusability and portability will save you plenty of time down the road.
When using an inline style, that will override any external properties that are set.
A DATE value per the SQL standard is YYYY-MM-DD. So even though Oracle stores the time information, my guess is that they're displaying the value in a way that is compatible with the SQL standard. In the standard, there is the TIMESTAMP data type that includes date and time info.
Here is how I generate a log filename (based on http://ss64.com/nt/syntax-getdate.html):
@ECHO OFF
:: Check WMIC is available
WMIC.EXE Alias /? >NUL 2>&1 || GOTO s_error
:: Use WMIC to retrieve date and time
FOR /F "skip=1 tokens=1-6" %%G IN ('WMIC Path Win32_LocalTime Get Day^,Hour^,Minute^,Month^,Second^,Year /Format:table') DO (
IF "%%~L"=="" goto s_done
Set _yyyy=%%L
Set _mm=00%%J
Set _dd=00%%G
Set _hour=00%%H
SET _minute=00%%I
SET _second=00%%K
)
:s_done
:: Pad digits with leading zeros
Set _mm=%_mm:~-2%
Set _dd=%_dd:~-2%
Set _hour=%_hour:~-2%
Set _minute=%_minute:~-2%
Set _second=%_second:~-2%
Set logtimestamp=%_yyyy%-%_mm%-%_dd%_%_hour%_%_minute%_%_second%
goto make_dump
:s_error
echo WMIC is not available, using default log filename
Set logtimestamp=_

Use convert with style 101.
select convert(datetime, Remarks, 101)
If your column is really text
you need to convert to varchar before converting to datetime
select convert(datetime, convert(varchar(30), Remarks), 101)
All the setting are stored in .metadata file in your workspace delete this and you are good to go
The online XML Schema Validator from DecisionSoft allows you to check an XML file against a given schema.
Alternatively you can use img2pdf to convert images to pdf. Install it on Debian or Ubuntu with:
sudo apt install img2pdf
Convert one or more images to pdf:
img2pdf img.jpg -o output.pdf
It uses a different mechanism than imagemagick to embed the image into the pdf. When possible Img2pdf embeds the image directly into the pdf, without decoding and recoding the image.
if you want to use md5 encryptioon you can do it in your php script
$pass = $_GET['pass'];
$newPass = md5($pass)
and then insert it into the database that way, however MD5 is a one way encryption method and is near on impossible to decrypt without difficulty
I fixed it with Datejs
This is alerting the first day:
var fd = Date.today().clearTime().moveToFirstDayOfMonth();
var firstday = fd.toString("MM/dd/yyyy");
alert(firstday);
This is for the last day:
var ld = Date.today().clearTime().moveToLastDayOfMonth();
var lastday = ld.toString("MM/dd/yyyy");
alert(lastday);

To test your method validation in a test, you have to wrap it a proxy in the @Before method.
@Before
public void setUp() {
this.classAutowiredWithFindStuffMethod = MethodValidationProxyFactory.createProxy(this.classAutowiredWithFindStuffMethod);
}
With MethodValidationProxyFactory as :
import org.springframework.context.support.StaticApplicationContext;
import org.springframework.validation.beanvalidation.MethodValidationPostProcessor;
public class MethodValidationProxyFactory {
private static final StaticApplicationContext ctx = new StaticApplicationContext();
static {
MethodValidationPostProcessor processor = new MethodValidationPostProcessor();
processor.afterPropertiesSet(); // init advisor
ctx.getBeanFactory()
.addBeanPostProcessor(processor);
}
@SuppressWarnings("unchecked")
public static <T> T createProxy(T instance) {
return (T) ctx.getAutowireCapableBeanFactory()
.applyBeanPostProcessorsAfterInitialization(instance, instance.getClass()
.getName());
}
}
And then, add your test :
@Test
public void findingNullStuff() {
assertThatExceptionOfType(ConstraintViolationException.class).isThrownBy(() -> this.classAutowiredWithFindStuffMethod.findStuff(null));
}
setInterval(function() {
updatechat();
}, 2000);
function updatechat() {
alert('hello world');
}

Here an example with 100000 rows (occupations are set here from A to Z):
> a = data.frame(sex=sample(c("M", "F"), 100000, replace=T), occupation=sample(LETTERS, 100000, replace=T))
> sum(a$sex == "M" & a$occupation=="A")
[1] 1882
returns the number of males with occupation "A".
EDIT
As I understand from your comment, you want the counts of all possible combinations of sex and occupation. So first create a dataframe with all combinations:
combns = expand.grid(c("M", "F"), LETTERS)
and loop with apply
to sum for your criteria and append the results to combns
:
combns = cbind (combns, apply(combns, 1, function(x)sum(a$sex==x[1] & a$occupation==x[2])))
colnames(combns) = c("sex", "occupation", "count")
The first rows of your result look as follows:
sex occupation count
1 M A 1882
2 F A 1869
3 M B 1866
4 F B 1904
5 M C 1979
6 F C 1910
Does this solve your problem?
OR:

I've used next function to get scrollbar height/width:
function getBrowserScrollSize(){
var css = {
"border": "none",
"height": "200px",
"margin": "0",
"padding": "0",
"width": "200px"
};
var inner = $("<div>").css($.extend({}, css));
var outer = $("<div>").css($.extend({
"left": "-1000px",
"overflow": "scroll",
"position": "absolute",
"top": "-1000px"
}, css)).append(inner).appendTo("body")
.scrollLeft(1000)
.scrollTop(1000);
var scrollSize = {
"height": (outer.offset().top - inner.offset().top) || 0,
"width": (outer.offset().left - inner.offset().left) || 0
};
outer.remove();
return scrollSize;
}
This jQuery-based solutions works in IE7+ and all other modern browsers (including mobile devices where scrollbar height/width will be 0).
Just do this:
SELECT * FROM table ORDER BY column `name`+0 ASC
Appending the +0 will mean that:
0, 10, 11, 2, 3, 4
becomes :
0, 2, 3, 4, 10, 11

My experience with trying to use CSS to modify the scroll bars is don't. Only IE will let you do this.
You can use this code to open in new tab..
function openWindow( url )
{
window.open(url, '_blank');
window.focus();
}
I got it from stackoverflow..
Depending on how large and how well-written the original code was, it might be worth starting again in your favourite language (which might still be C++) and learning from any mistakes made in the last version. Didn't someone once say about writing one to throw away?
n.b. Clearly if this is a huge product, then it may not be worth the time.
You can easily enable debugging support using an option for the @EnableWebSecurity annotation:

org.springframework.security.config.annotation.web.builders.WebSecurity.debugEnabled=false

I know several responses have suggested exporting the file to csv or some other text format, and then comparing them. I haven't seen it mentioned specifically, but Beyond Compare 3 has a number of additional file formats that it supports. See Additional File Formats. Using one of the Microsoft Excel File Formats you can easily compare two Excel files without going through the export to another format option.
Why python uses list of tuples instead dict?
In python, you cannot guarantee that the dictionary will be interpreted in the order you declared.
So, in mongo shell you could do .sort({'field1':1,'field2':1})
and the interpreter would sort field1 at first level and field 2 at second level.
If this syntax was used in python, there is a chance of sorting by field2 at first level. With tuple, there is no such risk.
.sort([("field1",pymongo.ASCENDING), ("field2",pymongo.DESCENDING)])
If your JSON is without key you can do it like this:
library[library.length] = {"foregrounds" : foregrounds,"backgrounds" : backgrounds};
So, try this:
var library = {[{
"title" : "Gold Rush",
"foregrounds" : ["Slide 1","Slide 2","Slide 3"],
"backgrounds" : ["1.jpg","","2.jpg"]
}, {
"title" : California",
"foregrounds" : ["Slide 1","Slide 2","Slide 3"],
"backgrounds" : ["3.jpg","4.jpg","5.jpg"]
}]
}
Then:
library[library.length] = {"title" : "Gold Rush", "foregrounds" : ["Howdy","Slide 2"], "backgrounds" : ["1.jpg",""]};

For this to work, your font also needs to be set to monospace.
If you think about it, lines can't otherwise line up perfectly perfectly.

Michael Ruth's answer here: How to make ruler always be shown in Sublime text 2?
MattDMo's answer here: What is the default font of Sublime Text?
I have rulers set at the following:
30
50 (git commit message titles should be limited to 50 characters)
72 (git commit message details should be limited to 72 characters)
80 (Windows Command Console Window maxes out at 80 character width)
Other viewing environments that benefit from shorter lines:
github: there is no word wrap when viewing a file online
So, I try to keep .js .md and other files at 70-80 characters.
Windows Console: 80 characters.
Pass in the straight XML instead of a dictionary.
I found the following command to run from command line:
vlc.exe --extraintf=http:logger --verbose=2 --file-logging --logfile=vlc-log.txt
You are trying to run Java code with Python. In Python/Selenium, the org.openqa.selenium.interactions.Actions
are reflected in ActionChains
class:
from selenium.webdriver.common.action_chains import ActionChains
element = driver.find_element_by_id("my-id")
actions = ActionChains(driver)
actions.move_to_element(element).perform()
Or, you can also "scroll into view" via scrollIntoView()
:
driver.execute_script("arguments[0].scrollIntoView();", element)

Thanks Rich, I will take note of that. So here is the script for my own solution. It requires no third party unzip tools.

What regex engine are you using? Most of them will support the following expression:
\{\d+:\d+\}
The \d
is actually shorthand for [0-9]
, but the important part is the addition of +
which means "one or more".
Other thing that solved my problem is to go under Target -> Build Settings -> Other linker Flags and delete the "-framework" and your framework "name".
It happened when i tried to remove a pod.
You can also have a look at the method findText(const QString & text) from QComboBox; it returns the index of the element which contains the given text, (-1 if not found). The advantage of using this method is that you don't need to set the second parameter when you add an item.
Here is a little example :
/* Create the comboBox */
QComboBox *_comboBox = new QComboBox;
/* Create the ComboBox elements list (here we use QString) */
QList<QString> stringsList;
stringsList.append("Text1");
stringsList.append("Text3");
stringsList.append("Text4");
stringsList.append("Text2");
stringsList.append("Text5");
/* Populate the comboBox */
_comboBox->addItems(stringsList);
/* Create the label */
QLabel *label = new QLabel;
/* Search for "Text2" text */
int index = _comboBox->findText("Text2");
if( index == -1 )
label->setText("Text2 not found !");
else
label->setText(QString("Text2's index is ")
.append(QString::number(_comboBox->findText("Text2"))));
/* setup layout */
QVBoxLayout *layout = new QVBoxLayout(this);
layout->addWidget(_comboBox);
layout->addWidget(label);

The following command worked for me using the command prompt (As an Administrator) in Windows:
mysqlcheck -u root -p -A --auto-repair
Run mysqlcheck with the root user, prompt for a password, check all databases, and auto-repair any corrupted tables.
Another thing that people may find useful when using the develop

option to install without sudo. Ex:
python setup.py develop --user

I had the same problem today. My persistence.xml was in the wrong location. I had to put it in the following path:
project/src/main/resources/META-INF/persistence.xml
There's no "step-by-step" here. When initialization is performed with constant expressions, the process is essentially performed at compile time. Of course, if the array is declared as a local object, it is allocated locally and initialized at run-time, but that can be still thought of as a single-step process that cannot be meaningfully subdivided.
Designated initializers allow you to supply an initializer for a specific member of struct object (or a specific element of an array). All other members get zero-initialized. So, if my_data
is declared as
typedef struct my_data {
int a;
const char *name;
double x;
} my_data;
then your
my_data data[]={
{ .name = "Peter" },
{ .name = "James" },
{ .name = "John" },
{ .name = "Mike" }
};
is simply a more compact form of
my_data data[4]={
{ 0, "Peter", 0 },
{ 0, "James", 0 },
{ 0, "John", 0 },
{ 0, "Mike", 0 }
};
I hope you know what the latter does.
Use git push origin master
instead.
You have a repository locally and the initial git push
is "pushing" to it. It's not necessary to do so (as it is local) and it shows everything as up-to-date. git push origin master
specifies a a remote repository (origin
) and the branch located there (master
).

Alciende's answer didn't quite work for me in Safari for whatever reason just now, but did after a minor modification:
function textAreaAdjust(o) {
o.style.height = "1px";
setTimeout(function() {
o.style.height = (o.scrollHeight)+"px";
}, 1);
}
Hope this helps someone
You can only include a script file in an HTML page, not in another script file. That said, you can write JavaScript which loads your "included" script into the same page:
var imported = document.createElement('script');
imported.src = '/path/to/imported/script';
document.head.appendChild(imported);
There's a good chance your code depends on your "included" script, however, in which case it may fail because the browser will load the "imported" script asynchronously. Your best bet will be to simply use a third-party library like jQuery or YUI, which solves this problem for you.
// jQuery
$.getScript('/path/to/imported/script.js', function()
{
// script is now loaded and executed.
// put your dependent JS here.
});

When you export a class module and open the file in Notepad, you'll notice, near the top, a bunch of hidden attributes (the VBE doesn't display them, and doesn't expose functionality to tweak most of them either). One of them is VB_PredeclaredId
:
Attribute VB_PredeclaredId = False
Set it to True
, save, and re-import the module into your VBA project.
Classes with a PredeclaredId
have a "global instance" that you get for free - exactly like UserForm
modules (export a user form, you'll see its predeclaredId attribute is set to true).
A lot of people just happily use the predeclared instance to store state. That's wrong - it's like storing instance state in a static class!
Instead, you leverage that default instance to implement your factory method:
[Employee
class]
'@PredeclaredId
Option Explicit
Private Type TEmployee
Name As String
Age As Integer
End Type
Private this As TEmployee
Public Function Create(ByVal emplName As String, ByVal emplAge As Integer) As Employee
With New Employee
.Name = emplName
.Age = emplAge
Set Create = .Self 'returns the newly created instance
End With
End Function
Public Property Get Self() As Employee
Set Self = Me
End Property
Public Property Get Name() As String
Name = this.Name
End Property
Public Property Let Name(ByVal value As String)
this.Name = value
End Property
Public Property Get Age() As String
Age = this.Age
End Property
Public Property Let Age(ByVal value As String)
this.Age = value
End Property
With that, you can do this:
Dim empl As Employee
Set empl = Employee.Create("Johnny", 69)
Employee.Create
is working off the default instance, i.e. it's considered a member of the type, and invoked from the default instance only.
Problem is, this is also perfectly legal:
Dim emplFactory As New Employee
Dim empl As Employee
Set empl = emplFactory.Create("Johnny", 69)
And that sucks, because now you have a confusing API. You could use '@Description
annotations / VB_Description
attributes to document usage, but without Rubberduck there's nothing in the editor that shows you that information at the call sites.
Besides, the Property Let
members are accessible, so your Employee
instance is mutable:
empl.Name = "Jane" ' Johnny no more!
The trick is to make your class implement an interface that only exposes what needs to be exposed:
[IEmployee
class]
Option Explicit
Public Property Get Name() As String : End Property
Public Property Get Age() As Integer : End Property
And now you make Employee
implement IEmployee
- the final class might look like this:
[Employee
class]
'@PredeclaredId
Option Explicit
Implements IEmployee
Private Type TEmployee
Name As String
Age As Integer
End Type
Private this As TEmployee
Public Function Create(ByVal emplName As String, ByVal emplAge As Integer) As IEmployee
With New Employee
.Name = emplName
.Age = emplAge
Set Create = .Self 'returns the newly created instance
End With
End Function
Public Property Get Self() As IEmployee
Set Self = Me
End Property
Public Property Get Name() As String
Name = this.Name
End Property
Public Property Let Name(ByVal value As String)
this.Name = value
End Property
Public Property Get Age() As String
Age = this.Age
End Property
Public Property Let Age(ByVal value As String)
this.Age = value
End Property
Private Property Get IEmployee_Name() As String
IEmployee_Name = Name
End Property
Private Property Get IEmployee_Age() As Integer
IEmployee_Age = Age
End Property
Notice the Create
method now returns the interface, and the interface doesn't expose the Property Let
members? Now calling code can look like this:
Dim empl As IEmployee
Set empl = Employee.Create("Immutable", 42)
And since the client code is written against the interface, the only members empl
exposes are the members defined by the IEmployee
interface, which means it doesn't see the Create
method, nor the Self
getter, nor any of the Property Let
mutators: so instead of working with the "concrete" Employee
class, the rest of the code can work with the "abstract" IEmployee
interface, and enjoy an immutable, polymorphic object.

Be aware that caches do not just cache continuous memory. They have multiple lines (at least 4) so discontinous and overlapping memory can often be stored just as efficiently.
What is missing from all the above examples is measured benchmarks. There are many myths about performance. Unless you measure it you do not know. Do not complicate your code unless you have a measured improvement.

You aren't assigning the result of the replace method back to your variable. When you call replace, it returns a new string without modifying the old one.
For example, load this into your favorite browser:
<html><head></head><body>
<script type="text/javascript">
var str1 = "a,d,k";
str1.replace(/\,/g,"");
var str2 = str1.replace(/\,/g,"");
alert (str1);
alert (str2);
</script>
</body></html>
In this case, str1
will still be "a,d,k"
and str2
will be "adk"
.
If you want to change str1
, you should be doing:
var str1 = "a,d,k";
str1 = str1.replace (/,/g, "");

I think killing the process which is uses that port is more easy to handle than changing the ports in config files. Here is how to do it in Windows. You can follow same procedure to Linux but different commands. Run command prompt as Administrator. Then type below command to find out all of processes using the port.
netstat -ano
There will be plenty of processes using various ports. So to get only port we need use findstr
like below (here I use port 80)
netstat -ano | findstr 80
this will gave you result like this
TCP 0.0.0.0:80 0.0.0.0:0 LISTENING 7964
Last number is the process ID of the process. so what we have to do is kill the process using PID we can use taskkill
command for that.
taskkill /PID 7964 /F
Run your server again. This time it will be able to run. This can uses for Mysql server too.
Open Sql server 2014 Configuration Manager.
Click Sql server services and start the sql server service if it is stopped
Then click Check SQL server Network Configuration for TCP/IP Enabled
then restart the sql server management studio (SSMS) and connect your local database engine
This is a follow up to my previous answer and contains C++11 related material..
Pre-requisites : An elementary knowledge of Relations (Mathematics).
Yes! This is very true.
Sequence Points have been replaced by Sequenced Before and Sequenced After (and Unsequenced and Indeterminately Sequenced) relations in C++11.
Sequenced Before(§1.9/13) is a relation which is:
between evaluations executed by a single thread and induces a strict partial order1
Formally it means given any two evaluations(See below) A
and B
, if A
is sequenced before B
, then the execution of A
shall precede the execution of B
. If A
is not sequenced before B
and B
is not sequenced before A
, then A
and B
are unsequenced 2.
Evaluations A
and B
are indeterminately sequenced when either A
is sequenced before B
or B
is sequenced before A
, but it is unspecified which3.
[NOTES]
1 : A strict partial order is a binary relation "<"
over a set P
which is asymmetric
, and transitive
, i.e., for all a
, b
, and c
in P
, we have that:
........(i). if a < b then ¬ (b < a) (asymmetry
);
........(ii). if a < b and b < c then a < c (transitivity
).
2 : The execution of unsequenced evaluations can overlap.
3 : Indeterminately sequenced evaluations cannot overlap, but either could be executed first.
In C++11, evaluation of an expression (or a sub-expression) in general includes:
value computations (including determining the identity of an object for glvalue evaluation and fetching a value previously assigned to an object for prvalue evaluation) and
initiation of side effects.
Now (§1.9/14) says:
Every value computation and side effect associated with a full-expression is sequenced before every value computation and side effect associated with the next full-expression to be evaluated.
Trivial example:
int x;
x = 10;
++x;
Value computation and side effect associated with ++x
is sequenced after the value computation and side effect of x = 10;
Yes! Right.
In (§1.9/15) it has been mentioned that
Except where noted, evaluations of operands of individual operators and of subexpressions of individual expressions are unsequenced4.
For example :
int main()
{
int num = 19 ;
num = (num << 3) + (num >> 3);
}
+
operator are unsequenced relative to each other.<<
and >>
operators are unsequenced relative to each other.4: In an expression that is evaluated more than once during the execution of a program, unsequenced and indeterminately sequenced evaluations of its subexpressions need not be performed consistently in different evaluations.
(§1.9/15) The value computations of the operands of an operator are sequenced before the value computation of the result of the operator.
That means in x + y
the value computation of x
and y
are sequenced before the value computation of (x + y)
.
More importantly
(§1.9/15) If a side effect on a scalar object is unsequenced relative to either
(a) another side effect on the same scalar object
or
(b) a value computation using the value of the same scalar object.
the behaviour is undefined.
Examples:
int i = 5, v[10] = { };
void f(int, int);
i = i++ * ++i; // Undefined Behaviour
i = ++i + i++; // Undefined Behaviour
i = ++i + ++i; // Undefined Behaviour
i = v[i++]; // Undefined Behaviour
i = v[++i]: // Well-defined Behavior
i = i++ + 1; // Undefined Behaviour
i = ++i + 1; // Well-defined Behaviour
++++i; // Well-defined Behaviour
f(i = -1, i = -1); // Undefined Behaviour (see below)
When calling a function (whether or not the function is inline), every value computation and side effect associated with any argument expression, or with the postfix expression designating the called function, is sequenced before execution of every expression or statement in the body of the called function. Why don't you use spring's TransactionTemplate
to programmatically control transactions? You could also restructure your code so that each "transaction block" has it's own @Transactional
method, but given that it's a test I would opt for programmatic control of your transactions.
Also note that the @Transactional
annotation on your runnable won't work (unless you are using aspectj) as the runnables aren't managed by spring!
@RunWith(SpringJUnit4ClassRunner.class)
//other spring-test annotations; as your database context is dirty due to the committed transaction you might want to consider using @DirtiesContext
public class TransactionTemplateTest {
@Autowired
PlatformTransactionManager platformTransactionManager;
TransactionTemplate transactionTemplate;
@Before
public void setUp() throws Exception {
transactionTemplate = new TransactionTemplate(platformTransactionManager);
}
@Test //note that there is no @Transactional configured for the method
public void test() throws InterruptedException {
final Contract c1 = transactionTemplate.execute(new TransactionCallback<Contract>() {
@Override
public Contract doInTransaction(TransactionStatus status) {
Contract c = contractDOD.getNewTransientContract(15);
contractRepository.save(c);
return c;
}
});
ExecutorService executorService = Executors.newFixedThreadPool(5);
for (int i = 0; i < 5; ++i) {
executorService.execute(new Runnable() {
@Override //note that there is no @Transactional configured for the method
public void run() {
transactionTemplate.execute(new TransactionCallback<Object>() {
@Override
public Object doInTransaction(TransactionStatus status) {
// do whatever you want to do with c1
return null;
}
});
}
});
}
executorService.shutdown();
executorService.awaitTermination(10, TimeUnit.SECONDS);
transactionTemplate.execute(new TransactionCallback<Object>() {
@Override
public Object doInTransaction(TransactionStatus status) {
// validate test results in transaction
return null;
}
});
}
}
PHPMailer has the ability to automatically embed images from your HTML email. You have to give full path in the file system, when writing your HTML:
<img src="/var/www/host/images/photo.png" alt="my photo" />
It will automaticaly convert to:
<img src="cid:photo.png" alt="my photo" />
Put into css file:
html { background: url(images/bg.jpg) no-repeat center center fixed; -webkit-background-size: cover; -moz-background-size: cover; -o-background-size: cover; background-size: cover; }
URL images/bg.jpg is your background image
If your .htaccess file is ok and the problem persist try to make the AllowOverride directive enabled in your httpd.conf. If the AllowOverride directive is set to None in your Apache httpd.config file, then .htaccess files are completely ignored. Example of enabled AllowOverride directive in httpd.config:
<Directory />
Options FollowSymLinks
**AllowOverride All**
</Directory>
Therefor restart your server.
You try to access private member of one class from another. The fact that bar-class is declared within foo-class means that bar in visible only inside foo class, but that is still other class.
And what is p->param?
Actually, it isn't clear what do you want to do
In order to show the icon, use getSupportActionBar().setIcon(R.xxx.xxx)
In my case the code is:-
getSupportActionBar().setIcon (R.mipmap.ic_launcher);
I'm going to give the short answer since everyone else gave the long one.
You'll get .select and .activate whenever you record macros and reuse them. When you .select a cell or sheet it just makes it active. From that point on whenever you use unqualified references like Range.Value
they just use the active cell and sheet. This can also be problematic if you don't watch where your code is placed or a user clicks on the workbook.
So, you can eliminate these issues by directly referencing your cells. Which goes:
'create and set a range
Dim Rng As Excel.Range
Set Rng = Workbooks("Book1").Worksheets("Sheet1").Range("A1")
'OR
Set Rng = Workbooks(1).Worksheets(1).Cells(1, 1)
Or you could
'Just deal with the cell directly rather than creating a range
'I want to put the string "Hello" in Range A1 of sheet 1
Workbooks("Book1").Worksheets("Sheet1").Range("A1").value = "Hello"
'OR
Workbooks(1).Worksheets(1).Cells(1, 1).value = "Hello"
There are various combinations of these methods, but that would be the general idea expressed as shortly as possible for impatient people like me.
If you want your scripts to load after page has been rendered, you can use:
function getScript(a, b) {
var c = document.createElement("script");
c.src = a;
var d = document.getElementsByTagName("head")[0],
done = false;
c.onload = c.onreadystatechange = function() {
if (!done && (!this.readyState || this.readyState == "loaded" || this.readyState == "complete")) {
done = true;
b();
c.onload = c.onreadystatechange = null;
d.removeChild(c)
}
};
d.appendChild(c)
}
//call the function
getScript("http://www.google-analytics.com/ga.js", function() {
// do stuff after the script has loaded
});
To add dynamic button on the fly;
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
<script src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.10.2/jquery.min.js"></script>
<script type="text/javascript">
function newButtonClickListener() {
alert("Hello World");
}
function test() {
var r = $('<input/>').attr({
type: "button",
id: "field",
value: "New Button",
onclick: "newButtonClickListener()"
});
$("body").append(r);
}
</script>
</head>
<body>
<button onclick="test()">Insert after</button><br/>
</body>
</html>
You can use method_defined?
as follows:
String.method_defined? :upcase # => true
Much easier, portable and efficient than the instance_methods.include?
everyone else seems to be suggesting.
Keep in mind that you won't know if a class responds dynamically to some calls with method_missing
, for example by redefining respond_to?
, or since Ruby 1.9.2 by defining respond_to_missing?
.
I will say what worked for me, the others answers above didn't help to my case at all. I hope it can help someone.
Actually, I'm using Virtual host configuration (sites-available / sites-enabled) on EC2 Linux AMI with Apache/2.4.39 (Amazon). So, I have 1 ec2 instance to serve many sites (domains).
Considering that you already have Virtual Host installed and working. In my folder /etc/httpd/sites-available, I have some files with domain names (suffix .conf), for example: domain.com.conf. Create a new file like that.
sudo nano /etc/httpd/sites-available/domain.com.conf
<VirtualHost *:80>
ServerName www.domain.com
ServerAlias domain.com
DocumentRoot /var/www/html/domain
</VirtualHost>
For each file.conf in sites-available, I create a symbolic link:
sudo ln -s /etc/httpd/sites-available/domain.com.conf /etc/httpd/sites-enabled/domain.com.conf
This is the default configuration, so, if access directly by IP of Server, you will be redirect to DocumentRoot of the first file (.conf) in sites-available folder, sorted by filename.
To have a default DocumentRoot folder when access by IP, you have to create a file named 0a.conf, then apache will serve this site because this new file will be the first in sites-available folder.
You must create a symbolic link:
sudo ln -s /etc/httpd/sites-available/0a.conf /etc/httpd/sites-enabled/0a.conf
To check serving order, use it:
sudo apachectl -S
Now, restart apache, and check out it.
Be happy =)
I would think your own suggestion is correct, however the xml is not quite valid. If you are running the //book[title[@lang='it']]
on <root>[Your"XML"Here]</root>
then the free online xPath testers such as one here will find the expected result.
I think it's important to note another difference between Sort
and OrderBy
:
Suppose there exists a Person.CalculateSalary()
method, which takes a lot of time; possibly more than even the operation of sorting a large list.
Compare
// Option 1
persons.Sort((p1, p2) => Compare(p1.CalculateSalary(), p2.CalculateSalary()));
// Option 2
var query = persons.OrderBy(p => p.CalculateSalary());
Option 2 may have superior performance, because it only calls the CalculateSalary
method n times, whereas the Sort
option might call CalculateSalary
up to 2n log(n) times, depending on the sort algorithm's success.
check String before set another EditText

another way that you can check lenght of String is:
String sUsername = Field1.getText().toString();
if (!sUsername.matches(""))
{
// do your job

@jamylak answer is quite nice, however if you don't want to import a couple of modules just to do this simple task, write your own lambda
in-place:
>>> L = [0, 23, 234, 89, None, 0, 35, 9]
>>> filter(lambda v: v is not None, L)
[0, 23, 234, 89, 0, 35, 9]
You must install the Python development files on your operating system if the Python provided with your operating system does not come with them. The many answers on this question show the myriad ways this can be achieved on different systems.
When you have done so, the problem is telling the compiler where they're located and how to compile against them. Python comes with a program called python-config
. For compilation, you need the --includes
output and for linking a program against the Python library (embedding Python into your program) the --ldflags
output. Example:
gcc -c mypythonprogram.c $(python3-config --includes)
gcc -o program mypythonprogram.o $(python3-config --ldflags)
The python-config
program can be named after the Python versions - on Debian, Ubuntu for example these can be named python3-config
or python3.6-config
.
You have not defined the variable input_line
.
Add this:
string input_line;
And add this include.
#include <string>
Here is the full example. I also removed the semi-colon after the while loop, and you should have getline
inside the while to properly detect the end of the stream.
#include <iostream>
#include <string>
int main() {
for (std::string line; std::getline(std::cin, line);) {
std::cout << line << std::endl;
}
return 0;
}
it can be useful : If you want to do it with Symfony forms :
$today = new DateTime('now');
$formBuilder->add('startDate', DateType::class, array(
'widget' => 'single_text',
'data' => new \DateTime(),
'attr' => ['min' => $today->format('Y-m-d')]
));
Once you set your Global Jenkins credentials, you can apply this step:
stage('Update GIT') {
steps {
script {
catchError(buildResult: 'SUCCESS', stageResult: 'FAILURE') {
withCredentials([usernamePassword(credentialsId: 'example-secure', passwordVariable: 'GIT_PASSWORD', usernameVariable: 'GIT_USERNAME')]) {
def encodedPassword = URLEncoder.encode("$GIT_PASSWORD",'UTF-8')
sh "git config user.email [email protected]"
sh "git config user.name example"
sh "git add ."
sh "git commit -m 'Triggered Build: ${env.BUILD_NUMBER}'"
sh "git push https://${GIT_USERNAME}:${encodedPassword}@github.com/${GIT_USERNAME}/example.git"
}
}
}
}
}
Just having final
will have the intended effect.
final int x = 5;
...
x = 10; // this will cause a compilation error because x is final
Declaring static is making it a class variable, making it accessible using the class name <ClassName>.x
You will need to set the permissions every time you plug the converter in. I use PuTTY to connect. In order to do so, I have created a little Bash script to sort out the permissions and launch PuTTY:
#!/bin/bash
sudo chmod 666 /dev/ttyUSB0
putty
P.S. I would never recommend that permissions are set to 777.
For starters:
<p align='center'>
<table width='100%'>
<tr>
<td align='center'><form><input type=submit value="click me" style="width:100%"></form></td>
</tr>
</table>
</p>
Note, if the width of the input button is 100%, you wont need the attribute "align='center'" anymore.
This would be the optimal solution:
<p align='center'>
<table width='100%'>
<tr>
<td><form><input type=submit value="click me" style="width:100%"></form></td>
</tr>
</table>
</p>
I do have an article on MSDN - Creating ASP.NET MVC with custom bootstrap theme / layout using VS 2012, VS 2013 and VS 2015, also have a demo code sample attached.. Please refer below link. https://code.msdn.microsoft.com/ASPNET-MVC-application-62ffc106
I understand that Node.js uses a single-thread and an event loop to process requests only processing one at a time (which is non-blocking).
I could be misunderstanding what you've said here, but "one at a time" sounds like you may not be fully understanding the event-based architecture.
In a "conventional" (non event-driven) application architecture, the process spends a lot of time sitting around waiting for something to happen. In an event-based architecture such as Node.js the process doesn't just wait, it can get on with other work.
For example: you get a connection from a client, you accept it, you read the request headers (in the case of http), then you start to act on the request. You might read the request body, you will generally end up sending some data back to the client (this is a deliberate simplification of the procedure, just to demonstrate the point).
At each of these stages, most of the time is spent waiting for some data to arrive from the other end - the actual time spent processing in the main JS thread is usually fairly minimal.
When the state of an I/O object (such as a network connection) changes such that it needs processing (e.g. data is received on a socket, a socket becomes writable, etc) the main Node.js JS thread is woken with a list of items needing to be processed.
It finds the relevant data structure and emits some event on that structure which causes callbacks to be run, which process the incoming data, or write more data to a socket, etc. Once all of the I/O objects in need of processing have been processed, the main Node.js JS thread will wait again until it's told that more data is available (or some other operation has completed or timed out).
The next time that it is woken, it could well be due to a different I/O object needing to be processed - for example a different network connection. Each time, the relevant callbacks are run and then it goes back to sleep waiting for something else to happen.
The important point is that the processing of different requests is interleaved, it doesn't process one request from start to end and then move onto the next.
To my mind, the main advantage of this is that a slow request (e.g. you're trying to send 1MB of response data to a mobile phone device over a 2G data connection, or you're doing a really slow database query) won't block faster ones.
In a conventional multi-threaded web server, you will typically have a thread for each request being handled, and it will process ONLY that request until it's finished. What happens if you have a lot of slow requests? You end up with a lot of your threads hanging around processing these requests, and other requests (which might be very simple requests that could be handled very quickly) get queued behind them.
There are plenty of others event-based systems apart from Node.js, and they tend to have similar advantages and disadvantages compared with the conventional model.
I wouldn't claim that event-based systems are faster in every situation or with every workload - they tend to work well for I/O-bound workloads, not so well for CPU-bound ones.
You can use a loop to do it. Here's an example using a with_items
loop:
- name: Set some kernel parameters
lineinfile:
dest: /etc/sysctl.conf
regexp: "{{ item.regexp }}"
line: "{{ item.line }}"
with_items:
- { regexp: '^kernel.shmall', line: 'kernel.shmall = 2097152' }
- { regexp: '^kernel.shmmax', line: 'kernel.shmmax = 134217728' }
- { regexp: '^fs.file-max', line: 'fs.file-max = 65536' }
I'm surprised nobody mentioned the null
special case. I think the meaning of <>
is more something like
has a value which is not equal to
In this case it filters out items which have ordid
605 and items which have a null
ordid
.
It may be obvious in this context that ordid
is never null
, but it is never hurts to remember that null
is not <>
from 605 (or from anything).
If the array contains integers, the value cannot be NULL. NULL can be used if the array contains pointers.
SomeClass* myArray[2];
myArray[0] = new SomeClass();
myArray[1] = NULL;
if (myArray[0] != NULL) { // this will be executed }
if (myArray[1] != NULL) { // this will NOT be executed }
As http://en.cppreference.com/w/cpp/types/NULL states, NULL is a null pointer constant!
Just type the commands
cd /Library/Developer/CommandLineTools/Packages/;
open macOS_SDK_headers_for_macOS_10.14.pkg
Another solution would be putting call:
SpringBeanAutowiringSupport.processInjectionBasedOnCurrentContext(this)
To MileageFeeCalculator constructor like this:
@Service
public class MileageFeeCalculator {
@Autowired
private MileageRateService rateService; // <--- will be autowired when constructor is called
public MileageFeeCalculator() {
SpringBeanAutowiringSupport.processInjectionBasedOnCurrentContext(this)
}
public float mileageCharge(final int miles) {
return (miles * rateService.ratePerMile());
}
}
Not sure if there was file corruption or what, but after confirming proper pom configuration I was able to resolve this issue by deleting the jar from my local m2 repository, forcing Maven to download it again when I ran the tests.

I used this code to copy images to photo albums my application had created; When I want to copy images files I call "startSavingPhotoAlbume()" function. First I get UIImage from App folder then save it to photo albums. Because it is irrelevant I dont show how to read image from App folder.
var saveToPhotoAlbumCounter = 0
func startSavingPhotoAlbume(){

print("ptoto albume savin error for \(imageFileList[saveToPhotoAlbumCounter])")
} else {
if saveToPhotoAlbumCounter < imageFileList.count - 1 {
saveToPhotoAlbumCounter += 1
saveToPhotoAlbume()
} else {
print("saveToPhotoAlbume is finished with \(saveToPhotoAlbumCounter) files")
}
}
}

find and xargs are your friends. Use them to filter the file list rather than grep's --exclude
Try something like
find . -not -name '*.png' -o -type f -print | xargs grep -icl "foo="
The advantage of getting used to this, is that it is expandable to other use cases, for example to count the lines in all non-png files:
find . -not -name '*.png' -o -type f -print | xargs wc -l
To remove all non-png files:
find . -not -name '*.png' -o -type f -print | xargs rm
etc.
As pointed out in the comments, if some files may have spaces in their names, use -print0
and xargs -0
instead.
How about alias gcc99= gcc -std=c99
?
An excellent explanation can be found here: Generate script in SQL Server Management Studio

If you want to create a script that just generates the tables (no data) you can skip the advanced part of the instructions!
from tkinter import *

An alternative way to do it is:
var div = document.getElementById('myDiv');
while(div.firstChild)
div.removeChild(div.firstChild);
However, using document.getElementById('myDiv').innerHTML = "";
is faster.
See: Benchmark test
N.B.
Both methods preserve the div.
"Commercial use" in cases like this is actually just a shorthand to indicate that the product is dual-licensed under both an open source and a traditional paid-for commercial license.
Any "true" open source license will not discriminate against commercial use. (See clause 6 of the Open Source Definition.) However, open source licenses like the GPL contain clauses that are incompatible with most companies' approach to commercial software (since the GPL requires that you make your source code available if you incorporate GPL'ed code into your product).
Duel-licensing is a way to accommodate this and also provides a revenue stream for the company providing the software. For users that don't mind the restrictions of the GPL and don't need support, the product is available under an open source license. For users for whom the GPL's restrictions would be incompatible with their business model, and for users that do need support, a commercial license is available.
You gave the specific example of the Screwturn wiki, which is dual-licensed under the GPL and a commercial license. Under the terms of the GPL (i.e., without getting a "commercial" license), you can do the following:
In other words, there's a lot that you can do without getting a commercial license. This is especially true for web-based software, since people can use web-based software without it being distributed to them. Screwturn's web site even acknowledges this: they state that the commercial license is for "either integrating it in a commercial application, or using it in an enterprise environment where free software is not allowed," not for any use related to commerce.
All of the preceding is merely my understanding and is not intended to be legal advice. Consult your lawyer to be certain.
In addition to Jon Skeet's answer, you can also use the group by expressions to get the unique groups along w/ a count for each groups iterations:
var query = from e in doc.Elements("whatever")
group e by new { id = e.Key, val = e.Value } into g
select new { id = g.Key.id, val = g.Key.val, count = g.Count() };
Kotlin code that works for me:
private fun takePhotoFromCamera() {
val intent = Intent(android.provider.MediaStore.ACTION_IMAGE_CAPTURE)
startActivityForResult(intent, PERMISSIONS_REQUEST_TAKE_PICTURE_CAMERA)
}
And get Result :
override fun onActivityResult(requestCode: Int, resultCode: Int, data: Intent?) {
super.onActivityResult(requestCode, resultCode, data)
if (requestCode == PERMISSIONS_REQUEST_TAKE_PICTURE_CAMERA) {
if (resultCode == Activity.RESULT_OK) {
val photo: Bitmap? = MediaStore.Images.Media.getBitmap(this.contentResolver, Uri.parse( data!!.dataString) )
// Do something here : set image to an ImageView or save it ..
imgV_pic.imageBitmap = photo
} else if (resultCode == Activity.RESULT_CANCELED) {
Log.i(TAG, "Camera , RESULT_CANCELED ")
}
}
}
and don't forget to declare request code:
companion object {
const val PERMISSIONS_REQUEST_TAKE_PICTURE_CAMERA = 300
}
In Kotlin I did the following to just show the icon:
supportActionBar?.setDisplayShowHomeEnabled(true)
supportActionBar?.setIcon(R.drawable.ic_icon_small)
You don't need to use a subclass of Thread
to make this work - take a look at the simple example I'm posting below to see how:
from threading import Thread
from time import sleep
def threaded_function(arg):
for i in range(arg):
print("running")
sleep(1)
if __name__ == "__main__":
thread = Thread(target = threaded_function, args = (10, ))
thread.start()
thread.join()
print("thread finished...exiting")
Here I show how to use the threading module to create a thread which invokes a normal function as its target. You can see how I can pass whatever arguments I need to it in the thread constructor.
Alternatively, try using .html
and then wrap with <pre>
tags:
$(someElem).html('this\n has\n newlines').wrap('<pre />');
If you would like to use a more functional approach to iterating over a string (perhaps to transform it somehow), you can split the string into characters, apply a function to each one, then join the resulting list of characters back into a string.
A string is inherently a list of characters, hence 'map' will iterate over the string - as second argument - applying the function - the first argument - to each one.
For example, here I use a simple lambda approach since all I want to do is a trivial modification to the character: here, to increment each character value:
>>> ''.join(map(lambda x: chr(ord(x)+1), "HAL"))
'IBM'
or more generally:
>>> ''.join(map(my_function, my_string))
where my_function takes a char value and returns a char value.
You can also press =
while less
is open to just display (at the bottom of the screen) information about the current screen, including line numbers, with format:
myfile.txt lines 20530-20585/1816468 byte 1098945/116097872 1% (press RETURN)
So here for example, the screen was currently showing lines 20530-20585
, and the files has a total of 1816468
lines.
General Syntax:
7z a archive_name target parameters
Check your 7-Zip dir. Depending on the release you have, 7z may be replaced with 7za in the syntax.
Parameters:
Eg. This will prompt for a PW and hide file structures:
7z a archive_name target -p -mhe=on
Eg. No prompt, visible file structure:
7z a archive_name target -pPUT_PASSWORD_HERE
And so on. If you leave target blank, 7z will assume * in current directory and it will recurs directories by default.

The answer of ADTC works fine, but I've find another solution, so I post it here if someone wants something different.
I think ADTC's solution is better, but mine's also works.
Here is the other solution I found
select p.name
from person p
where instr(p.name,chr(8211)) > 0; --contains the character chr(8211)
--at least 1 time
Thank you.
scope: false
transclude: false
and you will have the same scope(with parent element)
$scope.$watch(...
There are a lot of ways how to access parent scope depending on this two options scope& transclude.
The best option is 0 and 1 (as numbers - another answer suggests 0 and 1 as CHAR for space-efficiency but that's a bit too twisted for me), using NOT NULL and a check constraint to limit contents to those values. (If you need the column to be nullable, then it's not a boolean you're dealing with but an enumeration with three values...)
Advantages of 0/1:
select sum(is_ripe) from bananas
instead of select count(*) from bananas where is_ripe = 'Y'
or even (yuk) select sum(case is_ripe when 'Y' then 1 else 0) from bananas
Advantages of 'Y'/'N':
Another poster suggested 'Y'/null for performance gains. If you've proven that you need the performance, then fair enough, but otherwise avoid since it makes querying less natural (some_column is null
instead of some_column = 0
) and in a left join you'll conflate falseness with nonexistent records.
I know this was asked awhile back, but I found a comprehensive list of the virtual keyboard key codes right in MSDN, for use in C/C++. This also includes the mouse events. Note it is different than the javascript key codes (I noticed it around the VK_OEM section).

In some circumstances it might be useful to simply remove the bindings and then re-apply:
ko.cleanNode(document.getElementById(element_id))
ko.applyBindings(viewModel, document.getElementById(element_id))
import ast
inpt = {'http://example.org/about': {'http://purl.org/dc/terms/title':
[{'type': 'literal', 'value': "Anna's Homepage"}]}}
json_data = ast.literal_eval(json.dumps(inpt))
print(json_data)
this will solve the problem.
IntelliJ needs the subversion command(svn) added into Subversion settings. Here are the steps: 1. Download and Install subversion. 2. check on the command line prompt on windows(cmd) for the same command - svn.
You can either use a formatstring:
print "There are %d births" % (births,)
or in this simple case:
print "There are ", births, "births"
One possible answer to OP-s question ("I wanted to find out the total by adding each digit, for eg, 110. 1 + 1 + 0 = 2. How do I do that?") is to use built-in function divmod()
num = int(input('Enter a number: ')
nums_sum = 0
while num:
num, reminder = divmod(num, 10)
nums_sum += reminder
Just do what the message is asking for, create the user pma@localhost in the phpMyAdmin panel with no password
Formerly I use the following code which is work correctly to redirect root URL of each of my domains/subdomains to their correspondence subdirectories which are named exactly as the sub/domain it self as below:
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^sub1.domain1.com
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !subs/sub1.domain1.com/
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ subs/%{HTTP_HOST}/$1 [L,QSA]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^sub2.domain1.com
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !subs/sub1.domain2.com/
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ subs/%{HTTP_HOST}/$1 [L,QSA]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^sub1.domain2.com
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !subs/sub1.domain2.com/
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ subs/%{HTTP_HOST}/$1 [L,QSA]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^sub2.domain2.com
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !subs/sub2.domain2.com/
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ subs/%{HTTP_HOST}/$1 [L,QSA]
However when I want to add another subs or domains then it will need to be added in the above code. It should be much more convenient to simplify it to work like wildcard (*) as below:
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^sub
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !/subs/
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ subs/%{HTTP_HOST}/$1 [L,QSA]
So whenever another subdomains/domains is added as long as the subdomain name has a prefix of sub (like: sub3.domain1.com, sub1.domain3.com etc.) the code will remain valid.
I know, that question has been asked a long long time ago...
I was looking for a short and elegant solution, but couldn't find satisfaction for two reasons:
First, most of the existing solutions replace a list of characters by a list of other characters. Unfortunately, it require to use a specific encoding for the php script file itself which might be unwanted.
Second, using iconv seems to be a good way, but it's not enough as the result of a converted character could be one or two characters, or a Fatal Exception.
So I wrote that small function which does the job :
function replaceAccent($string, $replacement = '_')
{
$alnumPattern = '/^[a-zA-Z0-9 ]+$/';
if (preg_match($alnumPattern, $string)) {
return $string;
}
$ret = array_map(
function ($chr) use ($alnumPattern, $replacement) {
if (preg_match($alnumPattern, $chr)) {
return $chr;
} else {
$chr = @iconv('ISO-8859-1', 'ASCII//TRANSLIT', $chr);
if (strlen($chr) == 1) {
return $chr;
} elseif (strlen($chr) > 1) {
$ret = '';
foreach (str_split($chr) as $char2) {
if (preg_match($alnumPattern, $char2)) {
$ret .= $char2;
}
}
return $ret;
} else {
// replace whatever iconv fail to convert by something else
return $replacement;
}
}
},
str_split($string)
);
return implode($ret);
}
I think the better way is that you must remove you configuration from your web.config. Publish your code on the server and do what you want to remove directly from the IIS server interface.
Thanks to this method if you sucessfully do what you want, you just have to get the web.config and compare the differences. After that you just have to post the solution in this post :-P.
SELECT EXTRACT(YEAR FROM subdateshow) FROM tbl_name;
As HungryDB said the easier way for do that is:
$mystring = json_encode($my_json,JSON_UNESCAPED_SLASHES);
Have a look at your php version because this parameter has been added in version 5.4.0
>>> test = "have it break."
>>> selectiveEscape = "Print percent %% in sentence and not %s" % test
>>> print selectiveEscape
Print percent % in sentence and not have it break.

You need to merge and resolve the conflicts locally
before you push your changes to remote repo/fork.
1) pull (fetch and merge)
$ git pull remote branch
2) Push the changes
$ git push remote branch
Still you have a quick choice to push
forcibly by using --force
option but should be avoided as it may result in changes loss or affect badly on other contributors.
In Kotlin, you can use simply use like this,
textview.textSize = 20f
<TextView
android:id="@+id/usage"
android:layout_marginTop="220dip"
android:layout_marginLeft="45dip"
android:layout_marginRight="15dip"

android:layout_width="wrap_content"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"
android:text="Google "
android:textColor="#030900"/>
usage.text="hello world"
The following should work fine:
git diff -z --name-only commit1 commit2 | xargs -0 -IREPLACE rsync -aR REPLACE /home/changes/protected/
To explain further:
The -z
to with git diff --name-only
means to output the list of files separated with NUL bytes instead of newlines, just in case your filenames have unusual characters in them.
The -0
to xargs
says to interpret standard input as a NUL-separated list of parameters.
The -IREPLACE
is needed since by default xargs
would append the parameters to the end of the rsync
command. Instead, that says to put them where the later REPLACE
is. (That's a nice tip from this Server Fault answer.)
The -a
parameter to rsync
means to preserve permissions, ownership, etc. if possible. The -R
means to use the full relative path when creating the files in the destination.
Update: if you have an old version of xargs
, you'll need to use the -i
option instead of -I
. (The former is deprecated in later versions of findutils
.)
on CMD
type
ren *.* *.jpg
. will select all files, and rename to * (what ever name they have) plus extension to jpg
Handler answer in Kotlin :
1 - Create a top-level function inside a file (for example a file that contains all your top-level functions) :
fun delayFunction(function: ()-> Unit, delay: Long) {
Handler().postDelayed(function, delay)
}
2 - Then call it anywhere you needed it :
delayFunction({ myDelayedFunction() }, 300)
This is implementation dependent:
Standard 23.1.2.8:
The insert members shall not affect the validity of iterators and references to the container, and the erase members shall invalidate only iterators and references to the erased elements.
Maybe you could try this -- this is standard conforming:
for (auto it = numbers.begin(); it != numbers.end(); ) {
if (*it % 2 == 0) {
numbers.erase(it++);
}
else {
++it;
}
}
Note that it++ is postfix, hence it passes the old position to erase, but first jumps to a newer one due to the operator.
2015.10.27 update:
C++11 has resolved the defect. iterator erase (const_iterator position);
return an iterator to the element that follows the last element removed (or set::end
, if the last element was removed). So C++11 style is:
for (auto it = numbers.begin(); it != numbers.end(); ) {
if (*it % 2 == 0) {
it = numbers.erase(it);
}
else {
++it;
}
}
I'm far from being an expert on Gradle but my environment had the following line in .gradle/init.gradle
gradle.projectsLoaded {
rootProject.allprojects {
repositories {
mavenRepo name: 'libs-repo', url: 'http://guest-vm/artifactory/repo'
}
}
}
Yet I have no idea why that line was there, but I try changing to
gradle.projectsLoaded {
rootProject.allprojects {
repositories {
mavenCentral()
}
}
}
and now I finally can work without swearing to Android Studio & Gradle buildind scheme.
Maybe this will help someone else, but I've seen this error when the RHS of the mapping contains a colon without enclosing quotes, such as:
someKey: another key: Change to make today: work out more
should be
someKey: another key: "Change to make today: work out more"
The brief points:
If the request header had already been set, then the new value MUST be concatenated to the existing value using a U+002C COMMA followed by a U+0020 SPACE for separation.
UAs MAY give the User-Agent header an initial value, but MUST allow authors to append values to it.
However - After searching through the framework XHR in jQuery they don't allow you to change the User-Agent or Referer headers. The closest thing:
// Set header so the called script knows that it's an XMLHttpRequest
xhr.setRequestHeader("X-Requested-With", "XMLHttpRequest");
I'm leaning towards the opinion that what you want to do is being denied by a security policy in FF - if you want to pass some custom Referer
type header you could always do:
xhr.setRequestHeader('X-Alt-Referer', 'http://www.google.com');
If you're trying to do this from the command line, you may be encountering an issue where a machine-wide environment variable 'Platform' is being set for you and working against you. I can reproduce this if I use the VS2012 Command window instead of a regular windows Command window.
At the command prompt type:
set platform
In a VS2012 Command window, I have a value of 'X64' preset. That seems to interfere with whatever is in my solution file.
In a regular Command window, the 'set' command results in a "variable not defined" message...which is good.
If the result of your 'set' command above returns no environment variable value, you should be good to go.
For anyone who is looking a way to watch a specific file to exist in VBS:
Function bIsFileDownloaded(strPath, timeout)
Dim FSO, fileIsDownloaded
set FSO = CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject")
fileIsDownloaded = false
limit = DateAdd("s", timeout, Now)
Do While Now < limit
If FSO.FileExists(strPath) Then : fileIsDownloaded = True : Exit Do : End If
WScript.Sleep 1000
Loop
Set FSO = Nothing
bIsFileDownloaded = fileIsDownloaded
End Function
Usage:
FileName = "C:\test.txt"
fileIsDownloaded = bIsFileDownloaded(FileName, 5) ' keep watching for 5 seconds
If fileIsDownloaded Then
WScript.Echo Now & " File is Downloaded: " & FileName
Else
WScript.Echo Now & " Timeout, file not found: " & FileName
End If
It's often clearer to separate the two actions git pull
does. The first thing it does is update the local tracking branc that corresponds to the remote branch. This can be done with git fetch
. The second is that it then merges in changes, which can of course be done with git merge
, though other options such as git rebase
are occasionally useful.
A CSS selector approach could definitely work here. Try:
driver.findElement(By.CssSelector("a.item")).Click();
This will not work if there are other anchors before this one of the class item. You can better specify the exact element if you do something like "#my_table > a.item" where my_table is the id of a table that the anchor is a child of.
I just completed a blog post on this very topic. In a nutshell, add an Action
property to your ViewModel with get
and set
accessors. Then define the Action
from your View
constructor. Finally, invoke your action in the bound command that should close the window.
In the ViewModel:
public Action CloseAction { get; set;}
and in the View
constructor:
private View()
{
InitializeComponent();
ViewModel vm = new ViewModel();
this.DataContext = vm;
if ( vm.CloseAction == null )
vm.CloseAction = new Action(this.Close);
}
Finally, in whatever bound command that should close the window, we can simply invoke
CloseAction(); // Calls Close() method of the View
This worked for me, seemed like a fairly elegant solution, and saved me a bunch of coding.
You may use
values, counts = np.unique(a, return_counts=True)
ind = np.argmax(counts)
print(values[ind]) # prints the most frequent element
ind = np.argpartition(-counts, kth=10)[:10]
print(values[ind]) # prints the 10 most frequent elements
If some element is as frequent as another one, this code will return only the first element.
I was trying to do :
git rm -r *
but at the end for me works :
git rm -r .
I hope it helps to you.
The cross-browser solution without DOM manipulation given above does not work because it gives the first matching rule, not the last. The last matching rule is the one which applies. Here is a working version:
function getStyleRuleValue(style, selector) {
let value = null;
for (let i = 0; i < document.styleSheets.length; i++) {
const mysheet = document.styleSheets[i];
const myrules = mysheet.cssRules ? mysheet.cssRules : mysheet.rules;
for (let j = 0; j < myrules.length; j++) {
if (myrules[j].selectorText &&
myrules[j].selectorText.toLowerCase() === selector) {
value = myrules[j].style[style];
}
}
}
return value;
}
However, this simple search will not work in case of complex selectors.
You can only do this to you own photos. Due to recent upgrades, Facebook has made this more difficult. To do this, go to the album page where the photo is that you want to link to. You should see thumbnail images of the photos in the album. Hold down the "Control" or "Command" key while clicking the photo that you wish to link to. A new browser tab will open with the picture you clicked. Under the picture there is a URL that you can send to others to share the photo. You might have to have the privacy settings for that album set so that anyone can see the photos in that album. If you don't the person who clicks the link may have to be signed in and also be your "friend."
Here is an example of one of my photos: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=43764341&l=0d8a526a64&id=25502298 -it's my cat.
Update:
The link below the photo no longer appears. Once you open the photo in a new tab you can right click the photo (Control+click for Mac users) and click "Copy Image URL" or similar and then share this link. Based on my tests the person who clicks the link doesn't need to use Facebook. The photo will load without the Facebook interface. Like this - http://a1.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/189088_867367406856_25502298_43764341_1304758_n.jpg
Try the following:
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{HTTPS} !=on
RewriteRule ^.*$ https://%{SERVER_NAME}%{REQUEST_URI} [R,L]
Also, you can also redirect based on port number, for example:
RewriteCond %{SERVER_PORT} ^80$
RewriteRule ^.*$ https://%{SERVER_NAME}%{REQUEST_URI} [R=301,L]
This will redirect all requests received on port 80 to HTTPS.
I've always thought keydown happened as soon as you press the key down, keypress is the action of pressing the key and releasing it.
I found this which gives a little different explanation: http://bytes.com/topic/net/answers/649131-difference-keypress-keydown-event
Besides the need to have an else, in many cases you will need to use the same condition on multiple locations.
I prefer to extract the condition into a variable:
<c:set var="conditionVar" value="#{expression}"/>
And after that, you can use the condition variable as many times as you need it:
...
<c:if test="#{conditionVar}">
...
</c:if>
<c:if test="#{!conditionVar}">
...
</c:if>
...
<c:if test="#{conditionVar}">
...
</c:if>
<c:if test="#{!conditionVar}">
...
</c:if>
...
The c:choose element is good for more complicated situations, but if you need an if else only, I think this approach is better. It is efficient and has the following benefits:
If your markup is bound to a controller, directive or anything else with a $scope:
console.log($scope.movie);
Your myCoolDiv
element isn't a child of the player container. It's a child of the div
you created as a wrapper for it (markerDiv
in the first part of the code). Which is why it fails, removeChild
only removes children, not descendants.
You'd want to remove that wrapper div, or not add it at all.
Here's the "not adding it at all" option:
var markerDiv = document.createElement("div");_x000D_
markerDiv.innerHTML = "<div id='MyCoolDiv' style='color: #2b0808'>123</div>";_x000D_
document.getElementById("playerContainer").appendChild(markerDiv.firstChild);_x000D_
// -------------------------------------------------------------^^^^^^^^^^^_x000D_
_x000D_

var myCoolDiv = document.getElementById("MyCoolDiv");_x000D_
document.getElementById("playerContainer").removeChild(myCoolDiv);_x000D_
}, 1500);
_x000D_
<div id="playerContainer"></div>
_x000D_
Or without using the wrapper (although it's quite handy for parsing that HTML):
var myCoolDiv = document.createElement("div");_x000D_
// Don't reall need this: myCoolDiv.id = "MyCoolDiv";_x000D_
myCoolDiv.style.color = "#2b0808";_x000D_
myCoolDiv.appendChild(_x000D_
document.createTextNode("123")_x000D_
);_x000D_
document.getElementById("playerContainer").appendChild(myCoolDiv);_x000D_
_x000D_
setTimeout(function(){ _x000D_
// No need for this, we already have it from the above:_x000D_
// var myCoolDiv = document.getElementById("MyCoolDiv");_x000D_
document.getElementById("playerContainer").removeChild(myCoolDiv);_x000D_
}, 1500);
_x000D_
<div id="playerContainer"></div>
_x000D_
Maybe this is helpful, too.

0 will get printed.
As in C++ true refers to 1 and false refers to 0.
In case, you want to print false instead of 0,then you have to sets the boolalpha format flag for the str stream.
When the boolalpha format flag is set, bool values are inserted/extracted by their textual representation: either true or false, instead of integral values.
#include <iostream>
int main()
{
std::cout << std::boolalpha << false << std::endl;
}

false

Read up on Cancellation (which was introduced in .NET 4.0 and is largely unchanged since then) and the Task-Based Asynchronous Pattern, which provides guidelines on how to use CancellationToken
with async
methods.
To summarize, you pass a CancellationToken
into each method that supports cancellation, and that method must check it periodically.
private async Task TryTask()
{
CancellationTokenSource source = new CancellationTokenSource();
source.CancelAfter(TimeSpan.FromSeconds(1));
Task<int> task = Task.Run(() => slowFunc(1, 2, source.Token), source.Token);
// (A canceled task will raise an exception when awaited).
await task;
}
private int slowFunc(int a, int b, CancellationToken cancellationToken)
{
string someString = string.Empty;
for (int i = 0; i < 200000; i++)
{
someString += "a";
if (i % 1000 == 0)
cancellationToken.ThrowIfCancellationRequested();
}
return a + b;
}
For Python 3.x, use input()
. For Python 2.x, use raw_input()
. Don't forget you can add a prompt string in your input()
call to create one less print statement. input("GUESS THAT NUMBER!")
.

There is a major error in the tutorials destined for newbies here: http://developer.android.com/training/basics/actionbar/styling.html
It is major because it is almost impossible to detect cause of error for a newbie.
The error is that this tutorial explicitly states that the tutorial is valid for api level 11 (Android 3.0), while in reality this is only true for the theme Theme.Holo (without further extensions and variants)
But this tutorial uses the the theme Theme.holo.Light.DarkActionBar which is only a valid theme from api level 14 (Android 4.0) and above.
This is only one of many examples on errors found in these tutorials (which are great in other regards). Somebody should correct these errors this weekend because they are really costly and annoying timethieves. If there is a way I can send this info to the Android team, then please tell me and I will do it. Hopefully, however, they read Stackoverflow. (let me suggest: The Android team should consider to put someone newbie to try out all tutorials as a qualification that they are valid).
Another error I (and countless other people) have found is that the appcombat backward compliance module really is not working if you strictly follow the tutorials. Error unknown. I had to give up.
Regarding the error in this thread, here is a quote from the tutorial text with italics on the mismatch:
" For Android 3.0 and higher only
When supporting Android 3.0 and higher only, you can define the action bar's background like this:
<resources>
<!-- the theme applied to the application or activity -->
<style name="CustomActionBarTheme"
parent="@style/Theme.Holo.Light.DarkActionBar">
ERROR1: Only Theme.Holo can be used with Android 3.0. Therefore, remove the "Light.DarkActionBar etc.
ERROR2: @style/Theme.Holo"> will not work. It is necessary to write @android:style/Theme.Holo">in order to indicate that it is a built in Theme that is being referenced. (A bit strange that "built in" is not the default, but needs to be stated?)
The compiler advice for error correction is to define api level 14 as minimum sdk. This is not optimal because it creates incompliance to Andreoid 3.0 (api level 11). Therefore, I use Theme.Holo only and this seems to work fine (a fresh finding, though).
I am using Netbeans with Android support. Works nicely.
System.Text.ASCIIEncoding.Unicode.GetByteCount(yourString);
Or
System.Text.ASCIIEncoding.ASCII.GetByteCount(yourString);
Sheet.getPhysicalNumberOfRows()
does not involve some empty rows.
If you want to loop for all rows, do not use this to know the loop size.
I have seen one person/previous answer use .concat() in an array, but not like this...
I have used concat to add to a string and then just render the JSX content on the element via the jQuery selector:
let list = "<div><ul>";
for (let i=0; i<myArray.length; i++) {
list = list.concat(`<li>${myArray[i].valueYouWant}</li>`);
}
list = list.concat("</ul></div>);
$("#myItem").html(list);
To create your cell styles see: http://poi.apache.org/spreadsheet/quick-guide.html#CustomColors.
Custom colors
HSSF:
HSSFWorkbook wb = new HSSFWorkbook();
HSSFSheet sheet = wb.createSheet();
HSSFRow row = sheet.createRow((short) 0);
HSSFCell cell = row.createCell((short) 0);
cell.setCellValue("Default Palette");
//apply some colors from the standard palette,
// as in the previous examples.
//we'll use red text on a lime background
HSSFCellStyle style = wb.createCellStyle();
style.setFillForegroundColor(HSSFColor.LIME.index);
style.setFillPattern(HSSFCellStyle.SOLID_FOREGROUND);
HSSFFont font = wb.createFont();
font.setColor(HSSFColor.RED.index);
style.setFont(font);
cell.setCellStyle(style);
//save with the default palette
FileOutputStream out = new FileOutputStream("default_palette.xls");
wb.write(out);
out.close();
//now, let's replace RED and LIME in the palette
// with a more attractive combination
// (lovingly borrowed from freebsd.org)
cell.setCellValue("Modified Palette");
//creating a custom palette for the workbook
HSSFPalette palette = wb.getCustomPalette();
//replacing the standard red with freebsd.org red
palette.setColorAtIndex(HSSFColor.RED.index,
(byte) 153, //RGB red (0-255)
(byte) 0, //RGB green
(byte) 0 //RGB blue
);
//replacing lime with freebsd.org gold
palette.setColorAtIndex(HSSFColor.LIME.index, (byte) 255, (byte) 204, (byte) 102);
//save with the modified palette
// note that wherever we have previously used RED or LIME, the
// new colors magically appear
out = new FileOutputStream("modified_palette.xls");
wb.write(out);
out.close();
XSSF:
XSSFWorkbook wb = new XSSFWorkbook();
XSSFSheet sheet = wb.createSheet();
XSSFRow row = sheet.createRow(0);
XSSFCell cell = row.createCell( 0);
cell.setCellValue("custom XSSF colors");
XSSFCellStyle style1 = wb.createCellStyle();
style1.setFillForegroundColor(new XSSFColor(new java.awt.Color(128, 0, 128)));
style1.setFillPattern(CellStyle.SOLID_FOREGROUND);
A tad late, but here goes.
How about http://wiki.apache.org/tomcat/UsingPhp if you just want to run the real php on tomcat.
Concerning running tomcat on port 80 there's always jsvc, just google jsvc + tomcat.
Below query worked for me with default value false;
ALTER TABLE cti_contract_account ADD ready_to_audit BIT DEFAULT 0 NOT NULL;
For multibranch pipeline projects, do this in the script console:
def project = Jenkins.instance.getItemByFullName("YourMultibranchPipelineProjectName")
project.getAllJobs().each{ item ->
if(item.name == 'jobName'){ // master, develop, feature/......
item.updateNextBuildNumber(#Number);
item.saveNextBuildNumber();
println('new build: ' + item.getNextBuildNumber())
}
}
I encountered this NoClassDefFoundError when I used java.nio.charset.StandardCharsets.
The reason is that StandardCharsets has not existed until JRE 1.7. If I make the java compile version set to 1.7, Eclipse complained that "Android requires compiler compliance level 5.0 or 6.0". So, I fixed it by right-click the project name->Android Tools->Fix Project Properties. It is compiled with JRE1.6.
However, because StandardCharsets has not existed until 1.7. It reported NoClassDefFoundError when I ran it.
I has not come to realize this until after trying a lot of other methods including reinstalling JDK. The real reason is clearly told by the meaning of NoClassDefFoundError: The class cannot be found at run time although it passed compilation.
General conclusion is that as long as Android does not work with JRE 1.7, if you use any new feature provided since 1.7, you will encounter this error.
My solution is that I copied those source code into my code!
You can run a script, or a more complex parameter to the RUN. Here is an example from a Dockerfile I've downloaded to look at previously:
RUN cd /opt && unzip treeio.zip && mv treeio-master treeio && \
rm -f treeio.zip && cd treeio && pip install -r requirements.pip
Because of the use of '&&', it will only get to the final 'pip install' command if all the previous commands have succeeded.
In fact, since every RUN creates a new commit & (currently) an AUFS layer, if you have too many commands in the Dockerfile, you will use up the limits, so merging the RUNs (when the file is stable) can be a very useful thing to do.
if you already know your folder is: E:\ftproot\sales then you do not need to use Server.MapPath, this last one is needed if you only have a relative virtual path like ~/folder/folder1 and you want to know the real path in the disk...
