I was able to bypass all the framework messages by making the property a string in my view model.
[Range(0, 15, ErrorMessage = "Can only be between 0 .. 15")]
[StringLength(2, ErrorMessage = "Max 2 digits")]
[Remote("PredictionOK", "Predict", ErrorMessage = "Prediction can only be a number in range 0 .. 15")]
public string HomeTeamPrediction { get; set; }
Then I need to do some conversion in my get method:
viewModel.HomeTeamPrediction = databaseModel.HomeTeamPrediction.ToString();
and post method:
databaseModel.HomeTeamPrediction = int.Parse(viewModel.HomeTeamPrediction);
This works best when using the range attribute, otherwise some additional validation would be needed to make sure the value is a number.
You can also specify the type of number by changing the numbers in the range to the correct type:
[Range(0, 10000000F, ErrorMessageResourceType = typeof(GauErrorMessages), ErrorMessageResourceName = nameof(GauErrorMessages.MoneyRange))]
You can catch it like any other exception:
try {
foo();
}
catch (const std::bad_alloc&) {
return -1;
}
Quite what you can usefully do from this point is up to you, but it's definitely feasible technically.
In general you cannot, and should not try, to respond to this error. bad_alloc
indicates that a resource cannot be allocated because not enough memory is available. In most scenarios your program cannot hope to cope with that, and terminating soon is the only meaningful behaviour.
Worse, modern operating systems often over-allocate: on such systems, malloc
and new
can return a valid pointer even if there is not enough free memory left – std::bad_alloc
will never be thrown, or is at least not a reliable sign of memory exhaustion. Instead, attempts to access the allocated memory will then result in a segmentation fault, which is not catchable (you can handle the segmentation fault signal, but you cannot resume the program afterwards).
The only thing you could do when catching std::bad_alloc
is to perhaps log the error, and try to ensure a safe program termination by freeing outstanding resources (but this is done automatically in the normal course of stack unwinding after the error gets thrown if the program uses RAII appropriately).
In certain cases, the program may attempt to free some memory and try again, or use secondary memory (= disk) instead of RAM but these opportunities only exist in very specific scenarios with strict conditions:
It’s exceedingly rare that applications have control over point 1 — userspace applications never do, it’s a system-wide setting that requires root permissions to change.1
OK, so let’s assume you’ve fixed point 1. What you can now do is for instance use a LRU cache for some of your data (probably some particularly large business objects that can be regenerated or reloaded on demand). Next, you need to put the actual logic that may fail into a function that supports retry — in other words, if it gets aborted, you can just relaunch it:
lru_cache<widget> widget_cache;
double perform_operation(int widget_id) {
std::optional<widget> maybe_widget = widget_cache.find_by_id(widget_id);
if (not maybe_widget) {
maybe_widget = widget_cache.store(widget_id, load_widget_from_disk(widget_id));
}
return maybe_widget->frobnicate();
}
…
for (int num_attempts = 0; num_attempts < MAX_NUM_ATTEMPTS; ++num_attempts) {
try {
return perform_operation(widget_id);
} catch (std::bad_alloc const&) {
if (widget_cache.empty()) throw; // memory error elsewhere.
widget_cache.remove_oldest();
}
}
// Handle too many failed attempts here.
But even here, using std::set_new_handler
instead of handling std::bad_alloc
provides the same benefit and would be much simpler.
1 If you’re creating an application that does control point 1, and you’re reading this answer, please shoot me an email, I’m genuinely curious about your circumstances.
new
in c++?The usual notion is that if new
operator cannot allocate dynamic memory of the requested size, then it should throw an exception of type std::bad_alloc
.
However, something more happens even before a bad_alloc
exception is thrown:
C++03 Section 3.7.4.1.3: says
An allocation function that fails to allocate storage can invoke the currently installed new_handler(18.4.2.2), if any. [Note: A program-supplied allocation function can obtain the address of the currently installed new_handler using the set_new_handler function (18.4.2.3).] If an allocation function declared with an empty exception-specification (15.4), throw(), fails to allocate storage, it shall return a null pointer. Any other allocation function that fails to allocate storage shall only indicate failure by throw-ing an exception of class std::bad_alloc (18.4.2.1) or a class derived from std::bad_alloc.
Consider the following code sample:
#include <iostream>
#include <cstdlib>
// function to call if operator new can't allocate enough memory or error arises
void outOfMemHandler()
{
std::cerr << "Unable to satisfy request for memory\n";
std::abort();
}
int main()
{
//set the new_handler
std::set_new_handler(outOfMemHandler);
//Request huge memory size, that will cause ::operator new to fail
int *pBigDataArray = new int[100000000L];
return 0;
}
In the above example, operator new
(most likely) will be unable to allocate space for 100,000,000 integers, and the function outOfMemHandler()
will be called, and the program will abort after issuing an error message.
As seen here the default behavior of new
operator when unable to fulfill a memory request, is to call the new-handler
function repeatedly until it can find enough memory or there is no more new handlers. In the above example, unless we call std::abort()
, outOfMemHandler()
would be called repeatedly. Therefore, the handler should either ensure that the next allocation succeeds, or register another handler, or register no handler, or not return (i.e. terminate the program). If there is no new handler and the allocation fails, the operator will throw an exception.
new_handler
and set_new_handler
?new_handler
is a typedef for a pointer to a function that takes and returns nothing, and set_new_handler
is a function that takes and returns a new_handler
.
Something like:
typedef void (*new_handler)();
new_handler set_new_handler(new_handler p) throw();
set_new_handler's parameter is a pointer to the function operator new
should call if it can't allocate the requested memory. Its return value is a pointer to the previously registered handler function, or null if there was no previous handler.
Given the behavior of new
a well designed user program should handle out of memory conditions by providing a proper new_handler
which does one of the following:
Make more memory available: This may allow the next memory allocation attempt inside operator new's loop to succeed. One way to implement this is to allocate a large block of memory at program start-up, then release it for use in the program the first time the new-handler is invoked.
Install a different new-handler: If the current new-handler can't make any more memory available, and of there is another new-handler that can, then the current new-handler can install the other new-handler in its place (by calling set_new_handler
). The next time operator new calls the new-handler function, it will get the one most recently installed.
(A variation on this theme is for a new-handler to modify its own behavior, so the next time it's invoked, it does something different. One way to achieve this is to have the new-handler modify static, namespace-specific, or global data that affects the new-handler's behavior.)
Uninstall the new-handler: This is done by passing a null pointer to set_new_handler
. With no new-handler installed, operator new
will throw an exception ((convertible to) std::bad_alloc
) when memory allocation is unsuccessful.
Throw an exception convertible to std::bad_alloc
. Such exceptions are not be caught by operator new
, but will propagate to the site originating the request for memory.
Not return: By calling abort
or exit
.
You must have seen some application that run from the commandline and let you to pass them arguments. If you write one such app in C#, the array args
serves as the collection of the said arguments.
This how you process them:
static void Main(string[] args) {
foreach (string arg in args) {
//Do something with each argument
}
}
In response to @A.M.K's question about how to do transitions without jQuery. A very simple example I threw together. If I had time to think this through some more, I might be able to eliminate the JavaScript code altogether:
<style>
body {
background-color: red;
transition: background-color 2s ease-in;
}
</style>
<script>
window.onload = function() {
document.body.style.backgroundColor = '#00f';
}
</script>
<body>
<p>test</p>
</body>
Just adding in on the subjet of Gitignore. The recommended way only ignores Library and Temp, if its wihtin root of your git project. if you are like me and sometimes need unity project to be a part of the repo, not the whole of the repo, the correct strings in gitignore would be:
**/[Tt]emp
**/[Ll]ibrary
**/[Bb]uild
I figured it out, and it's actually pretty straight forward.
Set your variable:
$image1 = "img/products/image1.jpg";
Then ceate a cell, position it, then rather than setting where the image is, use the variable you created above with the following:
$this->Cell( 40, 40, $pdf->Image($image1, $pdf->GetX(), $pdf->GetY(), 33.78), 0, 0, 'L', false );
Now the cell will move up and down with content if other cells around it move.
Hope this helps others in the same boat.
The answer by Nils describes how to convert objects to maps, which I found very useful. However, the OP was also wondering where this information is in the MDN docs. While it may not have been there when the question was originally asked, it is now on the MDN page for Object.entries() under the heading Converting an Object to a Map which states:
Converting an Object to a Map
The
new Map()
constructor accepts an iterable ofentries
. WithObject.entries
, you can easily convert fromObject
toMap
:const obj = { foo: 'bar', baz: 42 }; const map = new Map(Object.entries(obj)); console.log(map); // Map { foo: "bar", baz: 42 }
Trying on a different browser(chrome) worked for me and clearing cache on firefox cleared the issue.
(PS: Not add the hosting URIs to Authorized JavaScript origins in API credentials would give you Error:redirect_uri_mismatch)
In my case I had a previous mySQL server installation (with non-standard port), and I re-installed to a different directory & port. Then I got the same issue. To resolve, you click on home + add new connection.
If you need to know the port of your server, you can find it when you start My SQL command line client via All Programs -> MySQL -> MySQL ServerX.Y -> MySQL X.Y Command Line Client and run command status (as below)
In many cases, continuing to scrape data from a website even when the server is requesting you not to is unethical. However, in the cases where it isn't, you can utilize a list of public proxies in order to scrape a website with many different IP addresses.
That's because your input string can’t be converted according to the encoding rules (strict by default).
I don't know, but I always encoded using directly unicode() constructor, at least that's the ways at the official documentation:
unicode(your_str, errors="ignore")

I want to understand the lock each transaction isolation takes on the table
For example, you have 3 concurrent processes A, B and C. A starts a transaction, writes data and commit/rollback (depending on results). B just executes a SELECT
statement to read data. C reads and updates data. All these process work on the same table T.
WHERE aField > 10 AND aField < 20
, A inserts data where aField
value is between 10 and 20, then B reads the data again and get a different result.I want to understand where we define these isolation levels: only at JDBC/hibernate level or in DB also
Using JDBC, you define it using Connection#setTransactionIsolation
.
Using Hibernate:
<property name="hibernate.connection.isolation">2</property>
Where
Hibernate configuration is taken from here (sorry, it's in Spanish).
By the way, you can set the isolation level on RDBMS as well:
SET ISOLATION TO DIRTY READ

The new Selenium IDE (released in 2019) has a much broader API and new documentation.
I believe this is the command you'll want to try:

Just to add in the reverse as a trick, at a PowerShell prompt you can do:

This maybe irrelevant and of no use, but as it's javascript, you don't have to use the ternary as suggested above in the ng-click statement. You should also be able to use the lazy evaluation ("or die") syntax as well. So for your example above:
<input ng-click="{{if(profileForm.$valid) updateMyProfile()}}" name="submit" id="submit" value="Save" class="submit" type="submit">
would become:
<input ng-click="profileForm.$valid && updateMyProfile()" name="submit" id="submit" value="Save" class="submit" type="submit">
In this case, if the profile is not valid then nothing happens, otherwise, updateMyProfile() is called. Like in the link @falinsky provides above.
Well, it'd still be convenient (syntactically) if we could declare usual values inside the if's condition. So, here's a trick: you can make the compiler think there is an assignment of Optional.some(T)
to a value like so:
if let i = "abc".firstIndex(of: "a"),
let i_int = .some(i.utf16Offset(in: "abc")),
i_int < 1 {
// Code
}
Issue in my case: Some updates were made to some rows within a transaction and before the transaction was committed, in another place, the same rows were being updated outside this transaction. Ensuring that all the updates to the rows are made within the same transaction resolved my issue
.
I'm was trying to do the same thing and it was bugging the crap out of me. In firefox, it appears that if you try to do some things when the escape key is pressed, it continues processing the escape key which then cancels whatever you were trying to do. Alert works fine. But in my case, I wanted to go back in the history which did not work. Finally figured out that I had to force the propagation of the event to stop as shown below...
if (keyCode == 27)
{
history.back();
if (window.event)
{
// IE works fine anyways so this isn't really needed
e.cancelBubble = true;
e.returnValue = false;
}
else if (e.stopPropagation)
{
// In firefox, this is what keeps the escape key from canceling the history.back()
e.stopPropagation();
e.preventDefault();
}
return (false);
}

Reading one line of text at a time, and appending said line to a string individually is time-consuming both in extracting each line and the overhead of so many method invocations.
I was able to get better performance by allocating a decent-sized byte array to hold the stream data, and which is iteratively replaced with a larger array when needed, and trying to read as much as the array could hold.
For some reason, Android repeatedly failed to download the entire file when the code used the InputStream returned by HTTPUrlConnection, so I had to resort to using both a BufferedReader and a hand-rolled timeout mechanism to ensure I would either get the whole file or cancel the transfer.
private static final int kBufferExpansionSize = 32 * 1024;
private static final int kBufferInitialSize = kBufferExpansionSize;
private static final int kMillisecondsFactor = 1000;

private String loadContentsOfReader(Reader aReader)

char[] array = new char[kBufferInitialSize];
int bytesRead;
int totalLength = 0;
String resourceContent = "";

try
{
br = new BufferedReader(aReader);
nowTime = System.nanoTime();
stopTime = nowTime + ((long)kNetworkActionPeriod * kMillisecondsFactor * kMillisecondsFactor);
while(((bytesRead = br.read(array, totalLength, array.length - totalLength)) != -1)
&& (nowTime < stopTime))
{
totalLength += bytesRead;
if(totalLength == array.length)
array = Arrays.copyOf(array, array.length + kBufferExpansionSize);

EDIT: It turns out that if you don't need to have the content re-encoded (ie, you want the content AS IS) you shouldn't use any of the Reader subclasses. Just use the appropriate Stream subclass.
Replace the beginning of the preceding method with the corresponding lines of the following to speed it up an extra 2 to 3 times.
String loadContentsFromStream(Stream aStream)
{
BufferedInputStream br = null;
byte[] array;
int bytesRead;
int totalLength = 0;
String resourceContent;
long stopTime;
long nowTime;
resourceContent = "";
try
{
br = new BufferedInputStream(aStream);
array = new byte[kBufferInitialSize];
In my case the error 405 was invoked by static handler due to route ("api/images") conflicting with the folder of the same name ("~/images").
It may not be an easy problem. Determining how to map classes defined in Python into types in Java will be a big challange because of differences in each of type binding time. (duck typing vs. compile time binding).

SELECT 'filds' FROM 'table' WHERE 'where' LIMIT 'offset','per_page'
MSSQL:

ROWS FETCH NEXT 'per_page' ROWS ONLY
ORDER BY is mandatory
To use the fastboot command you first need to put your device in fastboot mode:
$ adb reboot bootloader
Once the device is in fastboot mode, you can boot it with your own kernel, for example:
$ fastboot boot myboot.img
The above will only boot your kernel once and the old kernel will be used again when you reboot the device. To replace the kernel on the device, you will need to flash it to the device:
$ fastboot flash boot myboot.img
Hope that helps.

The first one is normal SVG, the second one is inside a shadow dom.
System.IO.File.WriteAllText (@"D:\path.txt", contents);
I think you just need 'git show -c $ref'. Trying this on the git repository on a8e4a59 shows a combined diff (plus/minus chars in one of 2 columns). As the git-show manual mentions, it pretty much delegates to 'git diff-tree' so those options look useful.
You can for example do this in this way (full code with exceptions handlig):
BufferedReader in = null;
List<String> myList = new ArrayList<String>();
try {
in = new BufferedReader(new FileReader("myfile.txt"));
String str;
while ((str = in.readLine()) != null) {
myList.add(str);
}
} catch (FileNotFoundException e) {
e.printStackTrace();
} catch (IOException e) {
e.printStackTrace();
} finally {
if (in != null) {
in.close();
}
}
Because when you call $( "#form_id" ).submit();
it triggers the external submit handler which prevents the default action, instead use
$( "#form_id" )[0].submit();
or
$form.submit();//declare `$form as a local variable by using var $form = this;
When you call the dom element's submit method programatically, it won't trigger the submit handlers attached to the element
At the risk of getting yelled at, i would get a javascript helper library like jquery or prototype they encapsulate the logic in nice methods - both have an .each method/iterator to do it - and they both strive to make it cross-browser compatible
EDIT: This answer was posted in 2008. Today much better constructs exist. This particular case could be solved with a .forEach
.
In a similar situation like this where I had to write Test Case which is dependent on Environment Variable, I tried following:
I wasted a day using the above two approaches, but of no avail. Then Maven came to my rescue. We can set Environment Variables or System Properties through Maven POM file which I think best way to do Unit Testing for Maven based project. Below is the entry I made in POM file.
<build>
<plugins>
<plugin>
<groupId>org.apache.maven.plugins</groupId>
<artifactId>maven-surefire-plugin</artifactId>
<configuration>
<systemPropertyVariables>
<PropertyName1>PropertyValue1</PropertyName1>
<PropertyName2>PropertyValue2</PropertyName2>
</systemPropertyVariables>
<environmentVariables>
<EnvironmentVariable1>EnvironmentVariableValue1</EnvironmentVariable1>
<EnvironmentVariable2>EnvironmentVariableValue2</EnvironmentVariable2>
</environmentVariables>
</configuration>
</plugin>
</plugins>
</build>
After this change, I ran Test Cases again and suddenly all worked as expected. For reader's information, I explored this approach in Maven 3.x, so I have no idea on Maven 2.x.
jQuery now supports scrollTop as an animation variable.
$("#id").animate({"scrollTop": $("#id").scrollTop() + 100});
You no longer need to setTimeout/setInterval to scroll smoothly.
Just to point out that there is an approach using functions from the tidyverse
, which I find more readable than gsub
:
a %>% stringr::str_remove(pattern = ".*_")
They seem to round up the values to the closest integer; but Iam seeing inconsistency in chrome,safari and firefox.
For e.g if 33.3% converts to 420.945px
chrome and firexfox show it as 421px. while safari shows its as 420px.
This seems like chrome and firefox follow the floor and ceil logic while safari doesn't. This page seems to discuss the same problem
Iterate over the list and compare the current closest number with abs(currentNumber - myNumber)
:
def takeClosest(myList, myNumber):
closest = myList[0]
for i in range(1, len(myList)):
if abs(i - myNumber) < closest:
closest = i
return closest
A nice trick to use in place of the various print formats:
(1) Pad with spaces to the right:
('hi' + ' ')[:8]
(2) Pad with leading zeros on the left:
('0000' + str(2))[-4:]
For non-static variables, I sorted it out via Application class dictionary as below:
At Global.asax.ac:
namespace MvcWebApplication
{
// Note: For instructions on enabling IIS6 or IIS7 classic mode,
// visit http://go.microsoft.com/?LinkId=9394801
public class MvcApplication : System.Web.HttpApplication
{
private string _licensefile; // the global private variable
internal string LicenseFile // the global controlled variable
{
get
{
if (String.IsNullOrEmpty(_licensefile))
{
string tempMylFile = Path.Combine(Path.GetDirectoryName(Assembly.GetAssembly(typeof(LDLL.License)).Location), "License.l");
if (!File.Exists(tempMylFile))
File.Copy(Server.MapPath("~/Content/license/License.l"),
tempMylFile,
true);
_licensefile = tempMylFile;
}
return _licensefile;
}
}
protected void Application_Start()
{
Application["LicenseFile"] = LicenseFile;// the global variable's bed
AreaRegistration.RegisterAllAreas();
RegisterGlobalFilters(GlobalFilters.Filters);
RegisterRoutes(RouteTable.Routes);
}
}
}
And in Controller:
namespace MvcWebApplication.Controllers
{
public class HomeController : Controller
{
//
// GET: /Home/
public ActionResult Index()
{
return View(HttpContext.Application["LicenseFile"] as string);
}
}
}
In this way we can have global variables in ASP.NET MVC :)
NOTE: If your object is not string simply write:
return View(HttpContext.Application["X"] as yourType);
If you only have one camera, or you don't care which camera is the correct one, then use "-1" as the index. Ie for your example capture = cv.CaptureFromCAM(-1)
.
For Button and TextView this is the easiest way:
Button:
Button button = (Button) findViewById(R.id.btton1);
button.setPaintFlags(button.getPaintFlags() | Paint.UNDERLINE_TEXT_FLAG);
Textview:
TextView textView = (TextView) findViewById(R.id.textview1);
textView.setPaintFlags(textView.getPaintFlags() | Paint.UNDERLINE_TEXT_FLAG);
You can do this simply like this
$('#image_id').click(function() {
$("#some_id iframe").attr('src', $("#some_id iframe", parent).attr('src') + '?autoplay=1');
});
where image_id is your image id you are clicking and some_id is id of div in which iframe is also you can use iframe id directly.
There are some problems with your header()
calls, one of which might be causing problems
exit()
after each of the header("Location:
calls otherwise code execution will continue:
so it reads "Location: http://foo"
Location
header, you should form an absolute URL like http://www.mysite.com/some/path.php
Here is a very quick and simple solution:
self.navigationController.hidesBarsOnTap = YES;
This will work on single tap instead of double tap. Also it will change the behavior for the navigation controller even after pushing or popping the current view controller.
You can always modify this behavior in your controller within the viewWillAppear: and viewWillDisappear: actions if you would like to set the behavior only for a single view controller.
Here is the documentation:
You can make use of ::marker pseudo element. This is useful in situations when you need to have different character entities for each list item.
ul li::marker {
content: " "; /* Your symbol here */
}
ul li:nth-child(1)::marker {
content: "\26BD ";
}
ul li:nth-child(2)::marker {
content: "\26C5 ";
}
ul li:nth-child(3)::marker {
content: "\26F3 ";
}
ul li::marker {
font-size: 20px;
}
ul li {
margin: 15px 0;
font-family: sans-serif;
background: #BADA55;
color: black;
padding-bottom: 10px;
padding-left: 10px;
padding-top: 5px;
}

Override onConfigurationChanged and dismiss progress dialog. If progress dialog is created in portrait and dismisses in landscape then it will throw View not attached to window manager error.
Also stop the progress bar and stop the async task in onPause(), onBackPressed and onDestroy method.
if(asyncTaskObj !=null && asyncTaskObj.getStatus().equals(AsyncTask.Status.RUNNING)){
asyncTaskObj.cancel(true);

I'd like to add another vote for the StringFormat object. You can use this simply to specify "center, center" and the text will be drawn centrally in the rectangle or points provided:
StringFormat format = new StringFormat();
format.LineAlignment = StringAlignment.Center;
format.Alignment = StringAlignment.Center;
However there is one issue with this in CF. If you use Center for both values then it turns TextWrapping off. No idea why this happens, it appears to be a bug with the CF.
If you didn't push the update in remote then the simple solution is remove last local commit using following command: git reset HEAD^
. Then add all files and commit again.
you have error in your code unexpected token
.use:
$('#purpose').on('change', function () {
if (this.value == '1') {
$("#business").show();
} else {
$("#business").hide();
}
});
Update: You can narrow down the code using .toggle()
$('#purpose').on('change', function () {
$("#business").toggle(this.value == '1');
});
If you never plan to delete elements from the list (since this requires changing the index of all elements after the deleted element), then you can use ConcurrentSkipListMap<Integer, T>
in place of ArrayList<T>
, e.g.
NavigableMap<Integer, T> map = new ConcurrentSkipListMap<>();
This will allow you to add items to the end of the "list" as follows, as long as there is only one writer thread (otherwise there is a race condition between map.size()
and map.put()
):
// Add item to end of the "list":
map.put(map.size(), item);
You can also obviously modify the value of any item in the "list" (i.e. the map) by simply calling map.put(index, item)
.
The average cost for putting items into the map or retrieving them by index is O(log(n)), and ConcurrentSkipListMap
is lock-free, which makes it significantly better than say Vector
(the old synchronized version of ArrayList
).
You can iterate back and forth through the "list" by using the methods of the NavigableMap
interface.
You could wrap all the above into a class that implements the List
interface, as long as you understand the race condition caveats (or you could synchronize just the writer methods) -- and you would need to throw an unsupported operation exception for the remove
methods. There's quite a bit of boilerplate needed to implement all the required methods, but here's a quick attempt at an implementation.

Don't forget that even with the writer thread synchronization as shown above, you need to be careful not to run into race conditions that might cause you to drop items, if for example you try to iterate through a list in a reader thread while a writer thread is adding to the end of the list.
You can even use ConcurrentSkipListMap
as a double-ended list, as long as you don't need the key of each item to represent the actual position within the list (i.e. adding to the beginning of the list will assign items negative keys). (The same race condition caveat applies here, i.e. there should be only one writer thread.)
// Add item after last item in the "list":
map.put(map.isEmpty() ? 0 : map.lastKey() + 1, item);
// Add item before first item in the "list":
map.put(map.isEmpty() ? 0 : map.firstKey() - 1, item);
Using Firebase's Query API, you might be tempted to try this:
// !!! THIS WILL NOT WORK !!!
ref
.orderBy('genre')
.startAt('comedy').endAt('comedy')
.orderBy('lead') // !!! THIS LINE WILL RAISE AN ERROR !!!
.startAt('Jack Nicholson').endAt('Jack Nicholson')
.on('value', function(snapshot) {
console.log(snapshot.val());
});
But as @RobDiMarco from Firebase says in the comments:
multiple
orderBy()
calls will throw an error
So my code above will not work.
I know of three approaches that will work.
What you can do is execute one orderBy().startAt()./endAt()
on the server, pull down the remaining data and filter that in JavaScript code on your client.
ref
.orderBy('genre')
.equalTo('comedy')
.on('child_added', function(snapshot) {
var movie = snapshot.val();
if (movie.lead == 'Jack Nicholson') {
console.log(movie);
}
});
If that isn't good enough, you should consider modifying/expanding your data to allow your use-case. For example: you could stuff genre+lead into a single property that you just use for this filter.
"movie1": {
"genre": "comedy",
"name": "As good as it gets",
"lead": "Jack Nicholson",
"genre_lead": "comedy_Jack Nicholson"
}, //...
You're essentially building your own multi-column index that way and can query it with:
ref
.orderBy('genre_lead')
.equalTo('comedy_Jack Nicholson')
.on('child_added', function(snapshot) {
var movie = snapshot.val();
console.log(movie);
});
David East has written a library called QueryBase that helps with generating such properties.
You could even do relative/range queries, let's say that you want to allow querying movies by category and year. You'd use this data structure:
"movie1": {
"genre": "comedy",
"name": "As good as it gets",
"lead": "Jack Nicholson",
"genre_year": "comedy_1997"
}, //...
And then query for comedies of the 90s with:
ref
.orderBy('genre_year')
.startAt('comedy_1990')
.endAt('comedy_2000')
.on('child_added', function(snapshot) {
var movie = snapshot.val();
console.log(movie);
});
If you need to filter on more than just the year, make sure to add the other date parts in descending order, e.g. "comedy_1997-12-25"
. This way the lexicographical ordering that Firebase does on string values will be the same as the chronological ordering.
This combining of values in a property can work with more than two values, but you can only do a range filter on the last value in the composite property.
A very special variant of this is implemented by the GeoFire library for Firebase. This library combines the latitude and longitude of a location into a so-called Geohash, which can then be used to do realtime range queries on Firebase.
Yet another alternative is to do what we've all done before this new Query API was added: create an index in a different node:
"movies"
// the same structure you have today
"by_genre"
"comedy"
"by_lead"
"Jack Nicholson"
"movie1"
"Jim Carrey"
"movie3"
"Horror"
"by_lead"
"Jack Nicholson"
"movie2"
There are probably more approaches. For example, this answer highlights an alternative tree-shaped custom index: https://stackoverflow.com/a/34105063
If none of these options work for you, but you still want to store your data in Firebase, you can also consider using its Cloud Firestore database.
Cloud Firestore can handle multiple equality filters in a single query, but only one range filter. Under the hood it essentially uses the same query model, but it's like it auto-generates the composite properties for you. See Firestore's documentation on compound queries.
I do this all the time. Here's a look at an example and how you would implement it.
Change your XAML to use the Command property of the button instead of the Click event. I am using the name SaveCommand since it is easier to follow then something named Command.
<Button Command="{Binding Path=SaveCommand}" />
Your CustomClass that the Button is bound to now needs to have a property called SaveCommand of type ICommand
. It needs to point to the method on the CustomClass that you want to run when the command is executed.
public MyCustomClass
{
private ICommand _saveCommand;
public ICommand SaveCommand
{
get
{
if (_saveCommand == null)
{
_saveCommand = new RelayCommand(
param => this.SaveObject(),
param => this.CanSave()
);
}
return _saveCommand;
}
}
private bool CanSave()
{
// Verify command can be executed here
}
private void SaveObject()
{
// Save command execution logic
}
}
The above code uses a RelayCommand which accepts two parameters: the method to execute, and a true/false value of if the command can execute or not. The RelayCommand class is a separate .cs file with the code shown below. I got it from Josh Smith :)
/// <summary>
/// A command whose sole purpose is to
/// relay its functionality to other
/// objects by invoking delegates. The
/// default return value for the CanExecute
/// method is 'true'.

}

}

}

Before writing below queries first get into your cmd or PowerShell
TYPE:
mongo //To get into MongoDB shell
use <Your_dbName> //For Creating or making use of existing db
To List All Collection Names use any one from below options :-
show collections //output every collection
OR
show tables
OR
db.getCollectionNames() //shows all collections as a list
To show all collections content or data use below listed code which had been posted by Bruno_Ferreira.
var collections = db.getCollectionNames();
for(var i = 0; i< collections.length; i++) {
print('Collection: ' + collections[i]); // print the name of each collection
db.getCollection(collections[i]).find().forEach(printjson); //and then print the json of each of its elements
}
Another thing you might want to enforce is making sure your abstract class is not instantiated. You can do that by defining a function that acts as FLAG ones set as the Abstract class constructor. This will then try to construct the FLAG which will call its constructor containing exception to be thrown. Example below:
(function(){
var FLAG_ABSTRACT = function(__class){
throw "Error: Trying to instantiate an abstract class:"+__class
}
var Class = function (){
Class.prototype.constructor = new FLAG_ABSTRACT("Class");
}
//will throw exception
var foo = new Class();
})()
For anyone else that may run into this issue, turns out that even if you include #!/usr/bin/env python3
at the beginning of your script, the shebang is ignored if the file isn't executable.
To determine whether or not your file is executable:
./filename.py
from the command line-bash: ./filename.py: Permission denied
, run chmod a+x filename.py
./filename.py
againIf you've included import sys; print(sys.version)
as Kevin suggested, you'll now see that the script is being interpreted by python3
You can achieve your result in two steps. First, create a list of unique entries using Advanced Filter... from the pull down Filter menu. To do so, you have to add a name of the column to be sorted out. It is necessary, otherwise Excel will treat first row as a name rather than an entry. Highlight column that you want to filter (A
in the example below), click the filter icon and chose 'Advanced Filter...'. That will bring up a window where you can select an option to "Copy to another location". Choose that one, as you will need your original list to do counts (in my example I will choose C:C
). Also, select "Unique record only". That will give you a list of unique entries. Then you can count their frequencies using =COUNTIF()
command. See screedshots for details.
Hope this helps!

You could consider only appending internal
to your url if it is true, then if the checkbox isn't checked and you don't append it params[:internal]
would be nil
, which evaluates to false in Ruby.
I'm not that familiar with the specific jQuery you're using, but is there a cleaner way to call what you want than manually building a URL string? Have you had a look at $get
and $ajax
?
I have used the following in my project. you can try too.
ajax = new XMLHttpRequest();
ajax.onreadystatechange = function () {
if (ajax.status) {
if (ajax.status == 200 && (ajax.readyState == 4)){
//To do tasks if any, when upload is completed
}
}
}
ajax.upload.addEventListener("progress", function (event) {
var percent = (event.loaded / event.total) * 100;
//**percent** variable can be used for modifying the length of your progress bar.
console.log(percent);
});
ajax.open("POST", 'your file upload link', true);
ajax.send(formData);
//ajax.send is for uploading form data.
The key difference between the two systems is that TFS is a centralized version control system and Git is a distributed version control system.
With TFS, repositories are stored on a central server and developers check-out a working copy, which is a snapshot of the code at a specific point in time. With Git, developers clone the entire repository to their machines, including all of the history.
One benefit of having the full repository on your developer's machines is redundancy in case the server dies. Another nice perk is that you can move your working copy back and forth between revisions without ever talking to the server, which can be helpful if the server is down or just unreachable.
To me, the real boon is that you can commit changesets to your local repository without ever talking to the server or inflicting potentially unstable changes on your team (i.e., breaking the build).
For instance, if I'm working on a big feature, it might take me a week to code and test it completely. I don't want to check-in unstable code mid-week and break the build, but what happens if I'm nearing the end of the week and I accidentally bork my entire working copy? If I haven't been committing all along I stand the risk of losing my work. That is not effective version control, and TFS is susceptible to this.
With DVCS, I can commit constantly without worrying about breaking the build, because I'm committing my changes locally. In TFS and other centralized systems there is no concept of a local check-in.
I haven't even gone into how much better branching and merging is in DVCS, but you can find tons of explanations here on SO or via Google. I can tell you from experience that branching and merging in TFS is not good.
If the argument for TFS in your organization is that it works better on Windows than Git, I'd suggest Mercurial, which works great on Windows -- there's integration with Windows Explorer (TortoiseHg) and Visual Studio (VisualHg).
I will just add a blank ("") to the end of the variable and do the comparison. Something like below should work even when that variable is null. You can also trim the variable just in case of spaces.
If provider & "" <> "" Then
url = url & "&provider=" & provider
End if
In HTML the style tag has the following syntax:
style="property1:value1;property2:value2"
so in your case:
<h2 style="text-align:center;font-family:tahoma">TITLE</h2>
Hope this helps.
You can do this by handling the beforeunload
event and returning a non-null string:
window.addEventListener("beforeunload", function (e) {
var confirmationMessage = 'It looks like you have been editing something. '
+ 'If you leave before saving, your changes will be lost.';
(e || window.event).returnValue = confirmationMessage; //Gecko + IE
return confirmationMessage; //Gecko + Webkit, Safari, Chrome etc.
});
The problem with this approach is that submitting a form is also firing the unload event. This is fixed easily by adding the a flag that you're submitting a form:
var formSubmitting = false;
var setFormSubmitting = function() { formSubmitting = true; };
window.onload = function() {
window.addEventListener("beforeunload", function (e) {
if (formSubmitting) {
return undefined;
}
var confirmationMessage = 'It looks like you have been editing something. '
+ 'If you leave before saving, your changes will be lost.';
(e || window.event).returnValue = confirmationMessage; //Gecko + IE
return confirmationMessage; //Gecko + Webkit, Safari, Chrome etc.
});
};
Then calling the setter when submitting:
<form method="post" onsubmit="setFormSubmitting()">
<input type="submit" />
</form>
But read on...
You also don't want to show this message when the user hasn't changed anything on your forms. One solution is to use the beforeunload
event in combination with a "dirty" flag, which only triggers the prompt if it's really relevant.
var isDirty = function() { return false; }
window.onload = function() {
window.addEventListener("beforeunload", function (e) {
if (formSubmitting || !isDirty()) {
return undefined;
}
var confirmationMessage = 'It looks like you have been editing something. '
+ 'If you leave before saving, your changes will be lost.';
(e || window.event).returnValue = confirmationMessage; //Gecko + IE
return confirmationMessage; //Gecko + Webkit, Safari, Chrome etc.
});
};
Now to implement the isDirty
method, there are various approaches.
You can use jQuery and form serialization, but this approach has some flaws. First you have to alter the code to work on any form ($("form").each()
will do), but the greatest problem is that jQuery's serialize()
will only work on named, non-disabled elements, so changing any disabled or unnamed element will not trigger the dirty flag. There are workarounds for that, like making controls readonly instead of enabling, serializing and then disabling the controls again.
So events seem the way to go. You can try listening for keypresses. This event has a few issues:
The change
event also doesn't trigger on values set from JavaScript code, so also won't work for virtual inputs.
Binding the input
event to all input
s (and textarea
s and select
s) on your page won't work on older browsers and, like all event handling solutions mentioned above, doesn't support undo. When a user changes a textbox and then undoes that, or checks and unchecks a checkbox, the form is still considered dirty.
And when you want to implement more behavior, like ignoring certain elements, you'll have even more work to do.
So before you think about implementing those solutions and all required workarounds, realize you're reinventing the wheel and you're prone to running into problems others have already solved for you.
If your application already uses jQuery, you may as well use tested, maintained code instead of rolling your own, and use a third-part library for all of this. jQuery's Are You Sure? plugin works great, see their demo page. It's as simple as this:
<script src="jquery.are-you-sure.js"></script>
<script>
$(function() {
$('#myForm').areYouSure(
{
message: 'It looks like you have been editing something. '
+ 'If you leave before saving, your changes will be lost.'
}
);
});
</script>
Do note that Firefox 4 didn't support custom messages in this dialog. As of april 2016, Chrome 51 is being rolled out in which custom messages are also being removed.
Some alternatives exist elsewhere on this site, but I think a dialog like this is clear enough:
Do you want to leave this site?
Changes you made may not be saved.

Use
Model.created_at.strftime("%FT%T")
where,
%F - The ISO 8601 date format (%Y-%m-%d)
%T - 24-hour time (%H:%M:%S)
Following are some of the frequently used useful list of Date
and Time
formats that you could specify in strftime
method:
Date (Year, Month, Day):
%Y - Year with century (can be negative, 4 digits at least)
-0001, 0000, 1995, 2009, 14292, etc.
%C - year / 100 (round down. 20 in 2009)
%y - year % 100 (00..99)
%m - Month of the year, zero-padded (01..12)
%_m blank-padded ( 1..12)
%-m no-padded (1..12)
%B - The full month name (``January'')
%^B uppercased (``JANUARY'')
%b - The abbreviated month name (``Jan'')
%^b uppercased (``JAN'')
%h - Equivalent to %b
%d - Day of the month, zero-padded (01..31)
%-d no-padded (1..31)
%e - Day of the month, blank-padded ( 1..31)
%j - Day of the year (001..366)
Time (Hour, Minute, Second, Subsecond):
%H - Hour of the day, 24-hour clock, zero-padded (00..23)
%k - Hour of the day, 24-hour clock, blank-padded ( 0..23)
%I - Hour of the day, 12-hour clock, zero-padded (01..12)
%l - Hour of the day, 12-hour clock, blank-padded ( 1..12)
%P - Meridian indicator, lowercase (``am'' or ``pm'')
%p - Meridian indicator, uppercase (``AM'' or ``PM'')
%M - Minute of the hour (00..59)
%S - Second of the minute (00..59)
%L - Millisecond of the second (000..999)
%N - Fractional seconds digits, default is 9 digits (nanosecond)
%3N millisecond (3 digits)
%6N microsecond (6 digits)
%9N nanosecond (9 digits)
%12N picosecond (12 digits)

Yes, on the server side $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT']
is equivalent to /
on the client side.
For example: the value of "{$_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT']}/images/thumbnail.png"
will be the string /var/www/html/images/thumbnail.png
on a server where it's local file at that path can be reached from the client side at the url http://example.com/images/thumbnail.png
No, in other words the value of $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT']
is not /
rather it is the server's local path to what the server shows the client at example.com/
note: $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT']
does not include a trailing /
For example :
In MainActivity :
Intent intent = new Intent(this, OtherActivity.class);
intent.putExtra(OtherActivity.KEY_EXTRA, yourDataObject);
startActivity(intent);
In OtherActivity :
public static final String KEY_EXTRA = "com.example.yourapp.KEY_BOOK";
@Override
protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
String yourDataObject = null;
if (getIntent().hasExtra(KEY_EXTRA)) {
yourDataObject = getIntent().getStringExtra(KEY_EXTRA);
} else {
throw new IllegalArgumentException("Activity cannot find extras " + KEY_EXTRA);
}
// do stuff
}
More informations here : http://developer.android.com/reference/android/content/Intent.html
I second Nat's answer, except I would use a loop instead of creating and immediately tossing the implicit List from asList(elements):
static public Set<T> setOf(T ... elements) {
Set set=new HashSet<T>(elements.size());
for(T elm: elements) { set.add(elm); }
return set;
}
You could use a "variable" inside the output filename, for example:
/tmp/FetchBlock-${current_date}.txt
current_date:
Returns the current system time formatted as yyyyMMdd_HHmm. An optional argument can be used to provide alternative formatting. The argument must be valid pattern for java.util.SimpleDateFormat.
Or you can also use a system_property or an env_var to specify something dynamic (either one needs to be specified as arguments)
To add new ViewController
once you have have an existing ViewController
, follow below step:
Click on background of Main.storyboard
.
Search and select ViewController
from object library at the
utility window.
Drag and drop it in background to create a new ViewController
.
If I'm correct in thinking that you want to find the minimum value of a function for all possible pairs of 2 elements from a list...
l = [1,2,3,4,5]
def f(i,j):
return i+j
# Prints min value of f(i,j) along with i and j
print min( (f(i,j),i,j) for i in l for j in l)
Sorry to jump on this question late in the game but I have an answer for irregular (non-rectangular) shapes. I solved it using SVGs to generate masks of where I want to have the event attached.
The idea is to attach events to inlined SVGs, super cheap and even user friendly because there are plenty of programs for generating SVGs. The SVG can have a layer of the image as a background.

Invoke-WebRequest "DomainName" -SkipCertificateCheck
You can use -SkipCertificateCheck Parameter to achieve this as a one-liner command ( THIS PARAMETER IS ONLY SUPPORTED ON CORE PSEDITION )
If you want to add a single column after a specific field, then the following MySQL query should work:
ALTER TABLE users
ADD COLUMN count SMALLINT(6) NOT NULL
AFTER lastname
If you want to add multiple columns, then you need to use 'ADD' command each time for a column. Here is the MySQL query for this:
ALTER TABLE users
ADD COLUMN count SMALLINT(6) NOT NULL,
ADD COLUMN log VARCHAR(12) NOT NULL,
ADD COLUMN status INT(10) UNSIGNED NOT NULL
AFTER lastname
In the second method, the last ADD COLUMN
column should actually be the first column you want to append to the table.
E.g: if you want to add count
, log
, status
in the exact order after lastname
, then the syntax would actually be:
ALTER TABLE users
ADD COLUMN log VARCHAR(12) NOT NULL AFTER lastname,
ADD COLUMN status INT(10) UNSIGNED NOT NULL AFTER lastname,
ADD COLUMN count SMALLINT(6) NOT NULL AFTER lastname
You can do:
User.find_or_create_by(first_name: 'Penélope', last_name: 'Lopez')
User.where(first_name: 'Penélope', last_name: 'Lopez').first_or_create
Or to just initialize:
User.find_or_initialize_by(first_name: 'Penélope', last_name: 'Lopez')
User.where(first_name: 'Penélope', last_name: 'Lopez').first_or_initialize
This is not perfect, but it works.
<asp:LinkButton id="lbnkVidTtile1" runat="Server"
CssClass="bodytext" Text='<%# Eval("newvideotitle") %>'
OnClientClick="return PostToNewWindow();" />
<script type="text/javascript">
function PostToNewWindow()
{
originalTarget = document.forms[0].target;
document.forms[0].target='_blank';
window.setTimeout("document.forms[0].target=originalTarget;",300);
return true;
}
</script>
Another minimalist Python solution without using numpy:
[0 if i < 0 else i for i in a]
No need to define any extra functions.
a = [1, 2, 3, -4, -5.23, 6]
[0 if i < 0 else i for i in a]
yields:
[1, 2, 3, 0, 0, 6]
One way this can be done is using shell script in global environment section, here, I am using UNIX timestamp but you can use any shell script syntax compatible time format:
pipeline {
agent any
environment {
def BUILDVERSION = sh(script: "echo `date +%s`", returnStdout: true).trim()
}
stages {
stage("Awesome Stage") {
steps {
echo "Current build version :: $BUILDVERSION"
}
}
}
}
You can link libraries from cdn (Content delivery network):
<link rel="stylesheet" href="https://maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/bootstrap/3.3.5/css/bootstrap.min.css">
<link rel="stylesheet" href="https://maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/bootstrap/3.3.5/css/bootstrap-theme.min.css">
<script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.11.3/jquery.min.js"></script>
<script src="https://maxcdn.bootstrapcdn.com/bootstrap/3.3.5/js/bootstrap.min.js"></script>
Or link libraries locally, add css files in the css folder and jquery in js folder. You have to keep both folders in the laravel public folder then you can link like below:
<link rel="stylesheet" href="{{asset('css/bootstrap-theme.min.css')}}">
<script src="{{asset('js/jquery.min.js')}}"></script>
or else
{{ HTML::style('css/style.css') }}
{{ HTML::script('js/functions.js') }}
If you link js files and css files locally (like in the last two examples) you need to add js
and css
files to the js
and css
folders which are in public\js
or public\css
not in resources\assets
.
For some weird reason "Java SE Development Kit 8u151" gives this trouble. Just install, "Java SE Development Kit 8u152" from the following link-
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk8-downloads-2133151.html
It should work then.
How to fade borders with CSS:
<div style="border-style:solid;border-image:linear-gradient(red, transparent) 1;border-bottom:0;">Text</div>
Please excuse the inline styles for the sake of demonstration. The 1 property for the border-image is border-image-slice, and in this case defines the border as a single continuous region.

If you want to know if any activity of your app is visible on the screen, you can do something like this:
public class MyAppActivityCallbacks implements Application.ActivityLifecycleCallbacks {
private Set<Class<Activity>> visibleActivities = new HashSet<>();
@Override
public void onActivityResumed(Activity activity) {
visibleActivities.add((Class<Activity>) activity.getClass());
}
@Override
public void onActivityStopped(Activity activity) {
visibleActivities.remove(activity.getClass());
}
public boolean isAnyActivityVisible() {
return !visibleActivities.isEmpty();
}
@Override
public void onActivityCreated(Activity activity, Bundle savedInstanceState) {}
@Override
public void onActivityStarted(Activity activity) {}
@Override
public void onActivityPaused(Activity activity) {}
@Override
public void onActivityDestroyed(Activity activity) {}
@Override
public void onActivitySaveInstanceState(Activity activity, Bundle outState) {}}
Just create a singleton of this class and set it in your Application instance like below:
class App extends Application{
@Override
public void onCreate() {
registerActivityLifecycleCallbacks(myAppActivityCallbacks);
}
}
Then you can use isAnyActivityVisible() method of your MyAppActivityCallbacks instance everywhere!
I deleted the ojdbc14.jar file and used ojdbc6.jar instead and it worked for me
from email.mime.multipart import MIMEMultipart
from email.mime.image import MIMEImage
from email.mime.text import MIMEText
import smtplib
msg = MIMEMultipart()
password = "password"
msg['From'] = "from_address"
msg['To'] = "to_address"
msg['Subject'] = "Attached Photo"
msg.attach(MIMEImage(file("abc.jpg").read()))
file = "file path"
fp = open(file, 'rb')
img = MIMEImage(fp.read())
fp.close()
msg.attach(img)
server = smtplib.SMTP('smtp.gmail.com: 587')
server.starttls()
server.login(msg['From'], password)
server.sendmail(msg['From'], msg['To'], msg.as_string())
server.quit()
You can test it by using this snipped code:
private static void Main(string[] args)
{
int threadCount = 0;
try
{
for (int i = 0; i < int.MaxValue; i ++)
{
new Thread(() => Thread.Sleep(Timeout.Infinite)).Start();
threadCount ++;
}
}
catch
{
Console.WriteLine(threadCount);
Console.ReadKey(true);
}
}
Beware of 32-bit and 64-bit mode of application.
In my case, the culprit was not distinguish the main and test sources folder within pom.xml (generated by eclipse maven project)
<build>
<sourceDirectory>src</sourceDirectory>
....
</build>
If you override default source folder settings in pom file, you must explicitly set the main AND test source folders!!!!
<build>
<sourceDirectory>src/main/java</sourceDirectory>
<testSourceDirectory>src/test/java</testSourceDirectory>
....
</build>
Disabling user-scalable (namely, the ability to double tap to zoom) allows the browser to reduce the click delay. In touch-enable browsers, when the user expects the double tap to zoom, the browser generally waits 300ms before firing the click event, waiting to see if the user will double tap. Disabling user-scalable allows for the Chrome browser to fire the click event immediately, allowing for a better user experience.

You can use .filter()
method of the Array
object:
var filtered = workItems.filter(function(element) {
// Create an array using `.split()` method
var cats = element.category.split(' ');
// Filter the returned array based on specified filters
// If the length of the returned filtered array is equal to
// length of the filters array the element should be returned
return cats.filter(function(cat) {
return filtersArray.indexOf(cat) > -1;
}).length === filtersArray.length;
});
Some old browsers like IE8 doesn't support .filter()
method of the Array
object, if you are using jQuery you can use .filter()
method of jQuery object.
jQuery version:
var filtered = $(workItems).filter(function(i, element) {
var cats = element.category.split(' ');
return $(cats).filter(function(_, cat) {
return $.inArray(cat, filtersArray) > -1;
}).length === filtersArray.length;
});
To handle this situation in a portable way (ie will work on all databases because it doesn’t use MySQL label Kung fu), break the procedure up into logic parts, like this:
CREATE PROCEDURE SP_Reporting(IN tablename VARCHAR(20))
BEGIN
IF tablename IS NOT NULL THEN
CALL SP_Reporting_2(tablename);
END IF;
END;
CREATE PROCEDURE SP_Reporting_2(IN tablename VARCHAR(20))
BEGIN
#proceed with code
END;
The job of interpreting the pipe symbol as an instruction to run multiple processes and pipe the output of one process into the input of another process is the responsibility of the shell (/bin/sh or equivalent).
In your example you can either choose to use your top level shell to perform the piping like so:
find -name 'file_*' -follow -type f -exec zcat {} \; | agrep -dEOE 'grep'
In terms of efficiency this results costs one invocation of find, numerous invocations of zcat, and one invocation of agrep.
This would result in only a single agrep process being spawned which would process all the output produced by numerous invocations of zcat.
If you for some reason would like to invoke agrep multiple times, you can do:
find . -name 'file_*' -follow -type f \
-printf "zcat %p | agrep -dEOE 'grep'\n" | sh
This constructs a list of commands using pipes to execute, then sends these to a new shell to actually be executed. (Omitting the final "| sh" is a nice way to debug or perform dry runs of command lines like this.)
In terms of efficiency this results costs one invocation of find, one invocation of sh, numerous invocations of zcat and numerous invocations of agrep.
The most efficient solution in terms of number of command invocations is the suggestion from Paul Tomblin:
find . -name "file_*" -follow -type f -print0 | xargs -0 zcat | agrep -dEOE 'grep'
... which costs one invocation of find, one invocation of xargs, a few invocations of zcat and one invocation of agrep.

<div class="btn-group w-100">
<button type="button" class="btn">One</button>
<button type="button" class="btn">Two</button>
<button type="button" class="btn">Three</button>
</div>
You basically tell the btn-group
container to have width 100% by adding w-100
class to it. The buttons inside will fill in the whole space automatically.
For people wanting a server runnable from within NodeJS script:
You can use expressjs/serve-static which replaces connect.static
(which is no longer available as of connect 3):
myapp.js:
var http = require('http');
var finalhandler = require('finalhandler');
var serveStatic = require('serve-static');
var serve = serveStatic("./");
var server = http.createServer(function(req, res) {
var done = finalhandler(req, res);
serve(req, res, done);
});
server.listen(8000);
and then from command line:
$ npm install finalhandler serve-static
$ node myapp.js
Here is a compact binary version of the technique used in other answers here:
select ((((((b7.0 << 1 | b6.0) << 1 | b5.0) << 1 | b4.0)
<< 1 | b3.0) << 1 | b2.0) << 1 | b1.0) << 1 | b0.0 as n
from (select 0 union all select 1) as b0,
(select 0 union all select 1) as b1,
(select 0 union all select 1) as b2,
(select 0 union all select 1) as b3,
(select 0 union all select 1) as b4,
(select 0 union all select 1) as b5,
(select 0 union all select 1) as b6,
(select 0 union all select 1) as b7
There are no unique or sorting phases, no string to number conversion, no arithmetic operations, and each dummy table only has 2 rows, so it should be pretty fast.
This version uses 8 "bits" so it counts from 0 to 255, but you can easily tweak that.
Just add the following rules to the parent element:
display: flex;
justify-content: center; /* align horizontal */
align-items: center; /* align vertical */
Here's a sample demo (Resize window to see the image align)
Browser support for Flexbox nowadays is quite good.
For cross-browser compatibility for display: flex
and align-items
, you can add the older flexbox syntax as well:
display: -webkit-box;
display: -webkit-flex;
display: -moz-box;
display: -ms-flexbox;
display: flex;
-webkit-flex-align: center;
-ms-flex-align: center;
-webkit-align-items: center;
align-items: center;
You can use regex.findall()
:
import re
line = " I am having a very nice day."
count = len(re.findall(r'\w+', line))
print (count)
The intended use for App_Data is to store database related file. Usually SQL Server Express .mdf files.

If you want something more similar to your example try _itot_s. On Microsoft compilers _itot_s points to _itoa_s or _itow_s depending on your Unicode setting:
CString str;
_itot_s( 15, str.GetBufferSetLength( 40 ), 40, 10 );
str.ReleaseBuffer();
it should be slightly faster since it doesn't need to parse an input format.
If you can't change server media-type response, you can extend GsonHttpMessageConverter to process additional support types
public class MyGsonHttpMessageConverter extends GsonHttpMessageConverter {
public MyGsonHttpMessageConverter() {
List<MediaType> types = Arrays.asList(
new MediaType("text", "html", DEFAULT_CHARSET),
new MediaType("application", "json", DEFAULT_CHARSET),
new MediaType("application", "*+json", DEFAULT_CHARSET)
);
super.setSupportedMediaTypes(types);
}
}
I really love this excerpt from 10 Things I hate about git (it gives a short explanation for rebase in its second example):
3. Crappy documentation
The man pages are one almighty “f*** you”1. They describe the commands from the perspective of a computer scientist, not a user. Case in point:
git-push – Update remote refs along with associated objects
Here’s a description for humans:
git-push – Upload changes from your local repository into a remote repository
Update, another example: (thanks cgd)
git-rebase – Forward-port local commits to the updated upstream head
Translation:
git-rebase – Sequentially regenerate a series of commits so they can be applied directly to the head node
And then we have
git-merge - Join two or more development histories together
which is a good description.

As odd as it sound when you want to permit nested attributes you do specify the attributes of nested object within an array. In your case it would be
Update as suggested by @RafaelOliveira
params.require(:measurement)
.permit(:name, :groundtruth => [:type, :coordinates => []])
On the other hand if you want nested of multiple objects then you wrap it inside a hash… like this
params.require(:foo).permit(:bar, {:baz => [:x, :y]})
Rails actually have pretty good documentation on this: http://api.rubyonrails.org/classes/ActionController/Parameters.html#method-i-permit
For further clarification, you could look at the implementation of permit
and strong_parameters
itself: https://github.com/rails/rails/blob/master/actionpack/lib/action_controller/metal/strong_parameters.rb#L246-L247
To find all files modified in the last 24 hours use the one below. The -1 here means changed 1 day or less ago.
find . -mtime -1 -ls
I've also had this error when trying to pull the changes into a branch which is not created from the upstream branch from which I'm trying to pull.
Eg - This creates a new branch matching night-version
of upstream
git checkout upstream/night-version -b testnightversion
This creates a branch testmaster
in local which matches the master
branch of upstream.
git checkout upstream/master -b testmaster
Now if I try to pull the changes of night-version
into testmaster
branch leads to this error.
git pull upstream night-version //while I'm in `master` cloned branch
I managed to solve this by navigating to proper branch and pull the changes.
git checkout testnightversion
git pull upstream night-version // works fine.

Try This
Just go to your Manifest file. and You have define the label for each activity in your manifest file.
<activity
android:name=".Search_Video"
android:label="@string/app_name"
android:screenOrientation="portrait">
</activity>
here change
android:label="@string/your_title"
For Visual Studio Code use the built in Terminal and run:
dotnet add package "System.ValueTuple"
Don't forget to run dotnet restore
afterwards.
You can also try this
<tr>
<th>Name :</th>
<td><input type="text" name="name" id="name" placeholder="Enter Your Name"><div id="name_error"></div></td>
</tr>
function register_validate()
{
var name = document.getElementById('name').value;
submit = true;
if(name == '')
{
document.getElementById('name_error').innerHTML = "Name Is Required";
return false;
}
return submit;
}
document.getElementById('name').onkeyup = removewarning;
function removewarning()
{
document.getElementById(this.id +'_error').innerHTML = "";
}
Your CAST() looks correct.
Your CONVERT() is not correct. You are quoting the column as a string. You will want something like
CONVERT(INT, A.my_NvarcharColumn)
** notice without the quotes **
The only other reason why this could fail is if you have a non-numeric character in the field value or if it's out of range.
You can try something like the following to verify it's numeric and return a NULL if it's not:
SELECT
CASE
WHEN ISNUMERIC(A.my_NvarcharColumn) = 1 THEN CONVERT(INT, A.my_NvarcharColumn)
ELSE NULL
END AS my_NvarcharColumn
\b\d+,
\b------->word boundary
\d+------>one or digit
,-------->containing commas,
Eg:
sddsgg 70,000 sdsfdsf fdgfdg70,00
sfsfsd 5,44,4343 5.7788,44 555
It will match:
70,
5,
44,
,44
A @ViewScoped
bean lives exactly as long as a JSF view. It usually starts with a fresh new GET request, or with a navigation action, and will then live as long as the enduser submits any POST form in the view to an action method which returns null
or void
(and thus navigates back to the same view). Once you refresh the page, or return a non-null
string (even an empty string!) navigation outcome, then the view scope will end.
A @RequestScoped
bean lives exactly as long a HTTP request. It will thus be garbaged by end of every request and recreated on every new request, hereby losing all changed properties.
A @ViewScoped
bean is thus particularly more useful in rich Ajax-enabled views which needs to remember the (changed) view state across Ajax requests. A @RequestScoped
one would be recreated on every Ajax request and thus fail to remember all changed view state. Note that a @ViewScoped
bean does not share any data among different browser tabs/windows in the same session like as a @SessionScoped
bean. Every view has its own unique @ViewScoped
bean.
(N-1) + (N-2) +...+ 2 + 1
is a sum of N-1 items. Now reorder the items so, that after the first comes the last, then the second, then the second to last, i.e. (N-1) + 1 + (N-2) + 2 +..
. The way the items are ordered now you can see that each of those pairs is equal to N (N-1+1 is N, N-2+2 is N). Since there are N-1 items, there are (N-1)/2 such pairs. So you're adding N (N-1)/2 times, so the total value is N*(N-1)/2
.
I am using web service in my tool, where those service fetch the stored procedure. while more number of client tool fetches the web service, this problem arises. I have fixed by specifying the Synchronized attribute for those function fetches the stored procedure. now it is working fine, the error never showed up in my tool.
[MethodImpl(MethodImplOptions.Synchronized)]
public static List<t> MyDBFunction(string parameter1)
{
}
This attribute allows to process one request at a time. so this solves the Issue.
SELECT STR_TO_DATE(dateString, '%d/%m/%y') FROM yourTable...
Multiline version (e.g. if you need to add comment after each line):
a = if b # a depends on b
then 5 # b is true
else 10 # b is false
Could you also increase post_max_size
and see if it helps?
Uploading a file through an HTML form makes the upload treated like any other form element content, that's why increasing post_max_size
should be required too.
Update : the final solution involved the command-line:
To export only 1 table you would do
mysqldump -u user_name -p your_password your_database_name your_table_name > dump_file.sql
and to import :
mysql -u your_user -p your_database < dump_file.sql
'drop table your_tabe_name;' can also be added at the top of the import script if it's not already there, to ensure the table gets deleted before the script creates and fill it
You can stash
(save the changes in temporary box) then, back to master
branch HEAD.
$ git add .
$ git stash
$ git checkout master
Jump Over Commits Back and Forth:
Go to a specific commit-sha
.
$ git checkout <commit-sha>
If you have uncommitted changes here then, you can checkout to a new branch | Add | Commit | Push the current branch to the remote.
# checkout a new branch, add, commit, push
$ git checkout -b <branch-name>
$ git add .
$ git commit -m 'Commit message'
$ git push origin HEAD # push the current branch to remote
$ git checkout master # back to master branch now
If you have changes in the specific commit and don't want to keep the changes, you can do stash
or reset
then checkout to master
(or, any other branch).
# stash
$ git add -A
$ git stash
$ git checkout master
# reset
$ git reset --hard HEAD
$ git checkout master
After checking out a specific commit if you have no uncommitted change(s) then, just back to master
or other
branch.
$ git status # see the changes
$ git checkout master
# or, shortcut
$ git checkout - # back to the previous state

I think the problem is your script is executed before the target dom element is loaded in the dom... one reason could be that you have placed your script in the head of the page or in a script tag that is placed before the div element #main
. So when the script is executed it won't be able to find the target element thus the error.
One solution is to place your script in the load event handler like
window.onload = function () {
var main = new Vue({
el: '#main',
data: {
currentActivity: 'home'
}
});
}
Another syntax
window.addEventListener('load', function () {
//your script
})
Just pass the list to np.array
:
a = np.array(a)
You can also take this opportunity to set the dtype
if the default is not what you desire.
a = np.array(a, dtype=...)

I found very in-depth videos which cover $watch
, $apply
, $digest
and digest cycles in:
AngularJS - Understanding Watcher, $watch, $watchGroup, $watchCollection, ng-change
AngularJS - Understanding digest cycle (digest phase or digest process or digest loop)
AngularJS Tutorial - Understanding $apply and $digest (in depth)
Following are a couple of slides used in those videos to explain the concepts (just in case, if the above links are removed/not working).
In the above image, "$scope.c" is not being watched as it is not used in any of the data bindings (in markup). The other two ($scope.a
and $scope.b
) will be watched.
From the above image: Based on the respective browser event, AngularJS captures the event, performs digest cycle (goes through all the watches for changes), execute watch functions and update the DOM. If not browser events, the digest cycle can be manually triggered using $apply
or $digest
.

I ran into this myself when I wanted to make a thor command under Windows.
To avoid having that message output everytime I ran my thor application I temporarily muted warnings while loading thor:
begin
original_verbose = $VERBOSE
$VERBOSE = nil
require "thor"
ensure
$VERBOSE = original_verbose
end
That saved me from having to edit third party source files.
This solution work on my case i am using ubuntu 16.04, VirtualBox 2.7.2 and genymotion 2.7.2 Same error come in my system i have followed simple step and my problem was solve
1. $ LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/lib64/:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH
2. $ export LD_LIBRARY_PATH
3. $ sudo apt-add-repository ppa:ubuntu-toolchain-r/test
4. $ sudo apt-get update
5. $ sudo apt-get install gcc-4.9 g++-4.9

Here's a module for calculating SHA1 hashes that is usable for Excel formulas eg. '=SHA1HASH("test")'. To use it, make a new module called 'module_sha1' and copy and paste it all in. This is based on some VBA code from http://vb.wikia.com/wiki/SHA-1.bas, with changes to support passing it a string, and executable from formulas in Excel cells.

No direct way to do this, but you can delete-then-assign
d = {1:2,3:4}
d[newKey] = d[1]
del d[1]
or do mass key changes:
d = dict((changeKey(k), v) for k, v in d.items())
Don't use with Router.

It works well.
Simply cast your timestamp AS DATE
, like this:
SELECT CAST(tstamp AS DATE)
In other words, your statement would look like this:
SELECT SUM(transaction_amount)
FROM mytable
WHERE Card_No='123'
AND CAST(transaction_date AS DATE) = target_date
What is nice about CAST
is that it works exactly the same on most SQL engines (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL), and is much easier to remember how to use it.
Methods using CONVERT()
or TO_DATE()
are specific to each SQL engine and make your code non-portable.
For .Net core i had many problems using SSH.net and also its deprecated. I tried a few other libraries, even for other programming languages. But i found a very good alternative. https://stackoverflow.com/a/64443701/8529170
select * from table where column_date > now()- INTERVAL '6 hours';
There's no pretty way. You might be able to use a proxy with the handler having the target methods and delegating everything else to them. Of course you'll have to use a factory because there'll be no constructor.
Not sure I completely understand the question but:
$(":button.brown").click(function() {
$(":button.brown.selected").removeClass("selected");
$(this).addClass("selected");
});
seems to be along the lines of what you want.
I would certainly recommend using classes instead of directly setting CSS, which is problematic for several reasons (eg removing styles is non-trivial, removing classes is easy) but if you do want to go that way:
$("...").css("background", "brown");
But when you want to reverse that change, what do you set it to?
//
is floor division, it will always give you the integer floor of the result. The other is 'regular' division.
class CountryListView(ListView):
model = Country
def render_to_response(self, context, **response_kwargs):
return HttpResponse(json.dumps(list(self.get_queryset().values_list('code', flat=True))),mimetype="application/json")
fixed the problem
also mimetype is important.
in my case this is the solution to fix it. When you create a project select MinGW GCC from the Toolchains panel.
Once the project is created, select project file, press ctrl + b to build the project. Then hit run and the the output should be printed on the console.
The Zeus editor has support for C/C++ and it also has a form of intellisensing.
It does its intellisensing using the tags information produced by ctags:
I would use SharedSizeGroup
<Grid>
<Grid.ColumnDefinition>
<ColumnDefinition SharedSizeGroup="col1"></ColumnDefinition>
<ColumnDefinition SharedSizeGroup="col2"></ColumnDefinition>
</Grid.ColumnDefinition>
<TextBox Background="Azure" Text="Hello" Grid.Column="1" MaxWidth="200" />
</Grid>
Aha!
I had an OnError()
event in some code that was setting the image source to a default image path if it wasn't found. Of course, if the default image path wasn't found it would trigger the error handler...
For people who have a similar problem but not the same, I guess the cause of this is most likely to be either an unterminated loop, an event handler that triggers itself or something similar that throws the JavaScript engine into a spin.
Use substring function
Check this out http://jsfiddle.net/kuc5as83/
var string = "1234567890"
var substr=string.substr(-8);
document.write(substr);
Output >> 34567890
substr(-8)
will keep last 8 chars
var substr=string.substr(8);
document.write(substr);
Output >> 90
substr(8)
will keep last 2 chars
var substr=string.substr(0, 8);
document.write(substr);
Output >> 12345678
substr(0, 8)
will keep first 8 chars
Check this out string.substr(start,length)
require('url').parse('/status?name=ryan', {parseQueryString: true}).query

I am aware there are existing answers which solves the problem. For those who are new to git, As of 02/11/2021, The default branch in git is "main"
not "master"
branch, The command will be
git push -u origin main
if you are using custom toolbar or ActionBar and you want to get reference of your toolbar/action bar from Fragments then you need to first get instance of your Main Activity from Fragment's onCreateView Method like below.
MainActivity activity = (MainActivity) getActivity();
then use activity for further implementation like below
ImageView vRightBtn = activity.toolbar.findViewById(R.id.toolbar_right_btn);
Before calling this, you need to initialize your custom toolbar in your MainActivity as below.
First set define your toolbar public like
public Toolbar toolbar;
public ActionBar actionBar;
and in onCreate() Method assign the custom toolbar id
toolbar = findViewById(R.id.custom_toolbar);
setSupportActionBar(toolbar);
actionBar = getSupportActionBar();
That's It. It will work in Fragment.
HTML:
<div id="something">... content ...</div>
CSS:
#something {
position: absolute;
height: 200px;
width: 400px;
margin: -100px 0 0 -200px;
top: 50%;
left: 50%;
}
I normally use action="", which is XHTML valid and retains the GET data in the URL.
If we split it up, the mess is equal to:
++[[]][+[]]
+
[+[]]
In JavaScript, it is true that +[] === 0
. +
converts something into a number, and in this case it will come down to +""
or 0
(see specification details below).
Therefore, we can simplify it (++
has precendence over +
):
++[[]][0]
+
[0]
Because [[]][0]
means: get the first element from [[]]
, it is true that:
[[]][0]
returns the inner array ([]
). Due to references it's wrong to say [[]][0] === []
, but let's call the inner array A
to avoid the wrong notation.
++
before its operand means “increment by one and return the incremented result”. So ++[[]][0]
is equivalent to Number(A) + 1
(or +A + 1
).
Again, we can simplify the mess into something more legible. Let's substitute []
back for A
:
(+[] + 1)
+
[0]
Before +[]
can coerce the array into the number 0
, it needs to be coerced into a string first, which is ""
, again. Finally, 1
is added, which results in 1
.
(+[] + 1) === (+"" + 1)
(+"" + 1) === (0 + 1)
(0 + 1) === 1
Let's simplify it even more:
1
+
[0]
Also, this is true in JavaScript: [0] == "0"
, because it's joining an array with one element. Joining will concatenate the elements separated by ,
. With one element, you can deduce that this logic will result in the first element itself.
In this case, +
sees two operands: a number and an array. It’s now trying to coerce the two into the same type. First, the array is coerced into the string "0"
, next, the number is coerced into a string ("1"
). Number +
String ===
String.
"1" + "0" === "10" // Yay!
Specification details for +[]
:
This is quite a maze, but to do +[]
, first it is being converted to a string because that's what +
says:
11.4.6 Unary + Operator
The unary + operator converts its operand to Number type.
The production UnaryExpression : + UnaryExpression is evaluated as follows:
Let expr be the result of evaluating UnaryExpression.
Return ToNumber(GetValue(expr)).
ToNumber()
says:
Object
Apply the following steps:
Let primValue be ToPrimitive(input argument, hint String).
Return ToString(primValue).
ToPrimitive()
says:
Object
Return a default value for the Object. The default value of an object is retrieved by calling the [[DefaultValue]] internal method of the object, passing the optional hint PreferredType. The behaviour of the [[DefaultValue]] internal method is defined by this specification for all native ECMAScript objects in 8.12.8.
[[DefaultValue]]
says:
8.12.8 [[DefaultValue]] (hint)
When the [[DefaultValue]] internal method of O is called with hint String, the following steps are taken:
Let toString be the result of calling the [[Get]] internal method of object O with argument "toString".
If IsCallable(toString) is true then,
a. Let str be the result of calling the [[Call]] internal method of toString, with O as the this value and an empty argument list.
b. If str is a primitive value, return str.
The .toString
of an array says:
15.4.4.2 Array.prototype.toString ( )
When the toString method is called, the following steps are taken:
Let array be the result of calling ToObject on the this value.
Let func be the result of calling the [[Get]] internal method of array with argument "join".
If IsCallable(func) is false, then let func be the standard built-in method Object.prototype.toString (15.2.4.2).
Return the result of calling the [[Call]] internal method of func providing array as the this value and an empty arguments list.
So +[]
comes down to +""
, because [].join() === ""
.
Again, the +
is defined as:
11.4.6 Unary + Operator
The unary + operator converts its operand to Number type.
The production UnaryExpression : + UnaryExpression is evaluated as follows:
Let expr be the result of evaluating UnaryExpression.
Return ToNumber(GetValue(expr)).
ToNumber
is defined for ""
as:
The MV of StringNumericLiteral ::: [empty] is 0.
So +"" === 0
, and thus +[] === 0
.
another easy way and more flexible , after loading data into Datagrid
Private Sub Button_Export_Click(sender As Object, e As EventArgs) Handles Button_Export.Click
Dim file As System.IO.StreamWriter
file = My.Computer.FileSystem.OpenTextFileWriter("c:\1\Myfile.csv", True)
If DataGridView1.Rows.Count = 0 Then GoTo loopend

Dim Headerline As String
For k = 0 To DataGridView1.Columns.Count - 1
If k = DataGridView1.Columns.Count - 1 Then ' last column dont put , separate
Headerline = Headerline & DataGridView1.Columns(k).HeaderText
Else
Headerline = Headerline & DataGridView1.Columns(k).HeaderText & ","

I recommend you start reading the documentation (4.6.18. Formatting cells). When applying a lot of formatting it's better to use applyFromArray()
According to the documentation this method is also suppose to be faster when you're setting many style properties. There's an annex where you can find all the possible keys for this function.
This will work for you:
$phpExcel = new PHPExcel();
$styleArray = array(
'font' => array(
'bold' => true,
'color' => array('rgb' => 'FF0000'),
'size' => 15,
'name' => 'Verdana'
));
$phpExcel->getActiveSheet()->getCell('A1')->setValue('Some text');
$phpExcel->getActiveSheet()->getStyle('A1')->applyFromArray($styleArray);
To apply font style to complete excel document:
$styleArray = array(
'font' => array(
'bold' => true,
'color' => array('rgb' => 'FF0000'),
'size' => 15,
'name' => 'Verdana'
));
$phpExcel->getDefaultStyle()
->applyFromArray($styleArray);
You can use em for percentage instead of pixels,
Example:
border:10PX dotted #c1a9ff; /* In Pixels */
border:0.75em dotted #c1a9ff; /* Exact same as above in Percentage */
this function limit decimal without round number
function limitDecimal(num,decimal){
return num.toString().substring(0, num.toString().indexOf('.')) + (num.toString().substr(num.toString().indexOf('.'), decimal+1));
}
Using Promise
and checking if the body
object is a valid JSON. If not a Promise reject
will be returned.
var DoPost = function(url, body) {
try {
body = JSON.stringify(body);
} catch (error) {
return reject(error);
}
return new Promise((resolve, reject) => {
$.ajax({
type: 'POST',
url: url,
data: body,
contentType: "application/json",
dataType: 'json'
})
.done(function(data) {
return resolve(data);
})
.fail(function(error) {
console.error(error);
return reject(error);
})
.always(function() {
// called after done or fail
});
});
}
In OnCreate method of your activity use this code:
@Override
public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
this.setRequestedOrientation(ActivityInfo.SCREEN_ORIENTATION_PORTRAIT);
Now your orientation will be set to portrait and will never change.
select dateadd(minute, datediff(minute, 0, Date), 0),
sum(SnapShotValue)
FROM [FRIIB].[dbo].[ArchiveAnalog]
group by dateadd(minute, datediff(minute, 0, Date), 0)
I was struggling to find a solution for arbitrary length byte sequences that would work under Python 2.x. Finally I wrote this one, it's a bit hacky because it performs a string conversion, but it works.
def signedbytes(data):
"""Convert a bytearray into an integer, considering the first bit as
sign. The data must be big-endian."""
negative = data[0] & 0x80 > 0
if negative:
inverted = bytearray(~d % 256 for d in data)
return -signedbytes(inverted) - 1
encoded = str(data).encode('hex')
return int(encoded, 16)
This function has two requirements:
The input data
needs to be a bytearray
. You may call the function like this:
s = 'y\xcc\xa6\xbb'
n = signedbytes(s)
The data needs to be big-endian. In case you have a little-endian value, you should reverse it first:
n = signedbytes(s[::-1])
Of course, this should be used only if arbitrary length is needed. Otherwise, stick with more standard ways (e.g. struct
).
You can try also with userInput.bat which uses the html input element.
This will assign the input to the value jstackId:
call userInput.bat jstackId
echo %jstackId%
This will just print the input value which eventually you can capture with FOR /F
:
call userInput.bat
dt.AsEnumerable()
.GroupBy(r => new { Col1 = r["Col1"], Col2 = r["Col2"] })
.Select(g =>
{
var row = dt.NewRow();
row["PK"] = g.Min(r => r.Field<int>("PK"));
row["Col1"] = g.Key.Col1;
row["Col2"] = g.Key.Col2;
return row;
})
.CopyToDataTable();
The whole point of a class is that you create an instance, and that instance encapsulates a set of data. So it's wrong to say that your variables are global within the scope of the class: say rather that an instance holds attributes, and that instance can refer to its own attributes in any of its code (via self.whatever
). Similarly, any other code given an instance can use that instance to access the instance's attributes - ie instance.whatever
.
Document object model.
The DOM is the way Javascript sees its containing pages' data. It is an object that includes how the HTML/XHTML/XML is formatted, as well as the browser state.
A DOM element is something like a DIV, HTML, BODY element on a page. You can add classes to all of these using CSS, or interact with them using JS.
To access the root directory from outside the controller you can simply inject %kernel.root_dir%
as an argument in your services configuration.
service_name:
class: Namespace\Bundle\etc
arguments: ['%kernel.root_dir%']
Then you can get the web root in the class constructor:
public function __construct($rootDir)
{
$this->webRoot = realpath($rootDir . '/../web');
}
Like it's written up there, you forget to type #include <sstream>
#include <sstream>
using namespace std;
QString Stats_Manager::convertInt(int num)
{
stringstream ss;
ss << num;
return ss.str();
}
You can also use some other ways to convert int
to string
, like
char numstr[21]; // enough to hold all numbers up to 64-bits
sprintf(numstr, "%d", age);
result = name + numstr;
check this!
you can write a function which converts from unsigned long to str, similar to ltostr library function.
char *ultostr(unsigned long value, char *ptr, int base)
{
unsigned long t = 0, res = 0;
unsigned long tmp = value;
int count = 0;
if (NULL == ptr)
{
return NULL;
}
if (tmp == 0)
{
count++;
}
while(tmp > 0)
{
tmp = tmp/base;
count++;
}
ptr += count;
*ptr = '\0';
do
{
res = value - base * (t = value / base);
if (res < 10)
{
* -- ptr = '0' + res;
}
else if ((res >= 10) && (res < 16))
{
* --ptr = 'A' - 10 + res;
}
} while ((value = t) != 0);
return(ptr);
}
you can refer to my blog here which explains implementation and usage with example.
The preprocessor is looking for StdCUtil/split.h
in
./
(i.e. /root/Core/
, the directory that contains the #include statement). So ./
+ StdCUtil/split.h
= ./StdCUtil/split.h
and the file is missingand in
$INC_DIR
(i.e. ../StdCUtil/
= /root/Core/../StdCUtil/
= /root/StdCUtil/
). So ../StdCUtil/
+ StdCUtil/split.h
= ../StdCUtil/StdCUtil/split.h
and the file is missingYou can fix the error changing the $INC_DIR
variable (best solution):
$INC_DIR = ../
or the include directive:
#include "split.h"
but in this way you lost the "path syntax" that makes it very clear what namespace or module the header file belongs to.
Reference:
EDIT/UPDATE
It should also be
CXX = g++
CXXFLAGS = -c -Wall -I$(INC_DIR)
...
%.o: %.cpp $(DEPS)
$(CXX) -o $@ $< $(CXXFLAGS)
I am using Mac OS X 10.9.5. This is how I manage multiple JDK/JRE on my machine when I need one version to run application A and use another version for application B.
I created the following script after getting some help online.
#!bin/sh
function setjdk() {
if [ $# -ne 0 ]; then
removeFromPath '/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/'
if [ -n "${JAVA_HOME+x}" ]; then
removeFromPath $JAVA_HOME
fi
export JAVA_HOME=/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/$1/Contents/Home
export PATH=$JAVA_HOME/bin:$PATH
fi
}
function removeFromPath() {
export PATH=$(echo $PATH | sed -E -e "s;:$1;;" -e "s;$1:?;;")
}
#setjdk jdk1.8.0_60.jdk
setjdk jdk1.7.0_15.jdk
I put the above script in .profile file. Just open terminal, type vi .profile, append the script with the above snippet and save it. Once your out type source .profile
, this will run your profile script without you having to restart the terminal. Now type java -version
it should show 1.7 as your current version. If you intend to change it to 1.8 then comment the line setjdk jdk1.7.0_15.jdk
and uncomment the line setjdk jdk1.8.0_60.jdk
. Save the script and run it again with source command. I use this mechanism to manage multiple versions of JDK/JRE when I have to compile 2 different Maven projects which need different java versions.
This happened to me when I was mixing package managers. My project was generated with Yarn, and after that, I added a couple of dependencies using npm install (this created the package-lock.json with only added dependencies).
Apparently, ng serve used package-lock.json and couldn't find Angular dependencies there. After I started using only Yarn, i.e. yarn add instead of npm install, the error was gone.
you may use like that
System.out.println(Integer.decode("0x4d2")) // output 1234
//and vice versa
System.out.println(Integer.toHexString(1234); // output is 4d2);
since the Two Dimensional Scrollview link is dead I could not get it so I created my own component. It handles flinging and works properly for me. The only restriction is that wrap_content might not work properly for that component.
I created this and added to Site.css.
.img-responsive-center {
display: block;
height: auto;
max-width: 100%;
margin-left:auto;
margin-right:auto;
}
I had a similar error "Specified cast is not valid" restoring from SQL Server 2012 to SQL Server 2008 R2
First I got the MDF and LDF Names:
RESTORE FILELISTONLY
FROM DISK = N'C:\Users\dell laptop\DotNetSandBox\DBBackups\Davincis3.bak'
GO
Second I restored with a MOVE using those names returned:
RESTORE DATABASE Davincis3
FROM DISK = 'C:\Users\dell laptop\DotNetSandBox\DBBackups\Davincis3.bak'
WITH
MOVE 'JQueryExampleDb' TO 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10_50.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\DATA\Davincis3.mdf',
MOVE 'JQueryExampleDB_log' TO 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10_50.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\DATA\Davincis3.ldf',
REPLACE
GO
I have no clue as to the name "JQueryExampleDb", but this worked for me.
Nevertheless, backups (and databases) are not backwards compatible with older versions.
It's VERY important to include:
SET NOCOUNT ON;
into SP, In First line,
if you do INSERT
in SP, the END SELECT
can't return values.
THEN, in vb60 you can:
SET RS = CN.EXECUTE(SQL)
OR:
RS.OPEN CN, RS, SQL
-XX:PermSize
specifies the initial size that will be allocated during startup of the JVM. If necessary, the JVM will allocate up to -XX:MaxPermSize
.
For the text after the first =
and before the next =
cut -d "=" -f2 <<< "$your_str"
or
sed -e 's#.*=\(\)#\1#' <<< "$your_str"
For all text after the first =
regardless of if there are multiple =
cut -d "=" -f2- <<< "$your_str"
You must use the equals operator not the assignment like
if(document.form1.radio1[0].checked == true) {
alert("You have selected Option 1");
}
A simple approach is to output as html, which pandas does out of the box:
df.to_html('temp.html')
Here's another way to force a type-cast even between incompatible types and interfaces where TS compiler normally complains:
export function forceCast<T>(input: any): T {
// ... do runtime checks here
// @ts-ignore <-- forces TS compiler to compile this as-is
return input;
}
Then you can use it to force cast objects to a certain type:
import { forceCast } from './forceCast';
const randomObject: any = {};
const typedObject = forceCast<IToDoDto>(randomObject);
Note that I left out the part you are supposed to do runtime checks before casting for the sake of reducing complexity. What I do in my project is compiling all my .d.ts
interface files into JSON schemas and using ajv
to validate in runtime.
Parallel.ForEach will optimize(may not even start new threads) and block until the loop is finished, and Task.Factory will explicitly create a new task instance for each item, and return before they are finished (asynchronous tasks). Parallel.Foreach is much more efficient.
There is a tricky way as well to find, whether a parameter is passed to a function or not. Have a look at the below example:
this.setCurrent = function(value) {
this.current = value || 0;
};
This necessary means that if the value of value
is not present/passed - set it to 0.
Pretty cool huh!
Your code is wrong. No point of parsing date and keep that as Date object.
You can format the calender date object when you want to display and keep that as a string.
Calendar cal = Calendar.getInstance();
cal.add(Calendar.DATE, 1);
Date date = cal.getTime();
SimpleDateFormat format1 = new SimpleDateFormat("yyyy-MM-dd");
String inActiveDate = null;
try {
inActiveDate = format1.format(date);
System.out.println(inActiveDate );
} catch (ParseException e1) {
// TODO Auto-generated catch block
e1.printStackTrace();
}
a = np.subtract(a, 0., dtype=np.float32)
You can try a box-shadow inset
something like this: box-shadow:inset 0px -5px 0px 0px #fff
adds a white 5px border to the bottom of the element without increasing the size
My problem turned out to be, I had altered a table to add a column called Char
.
As this is a reserved word in MS Access it needed square brakcets (Single or double quote are no good) in order for the alter statement to work before I could then update the newly created column.
I did a search for the word "composition" on this page and didn't see it once. This answer is very much in addition to the answers aforementioned.
One of the absolutely crucial reasons for using interfaces in an Object Oriented Project is that they allow you to favour composition over inheritance. By implementing interfaces you can decouple your implementations from the various algorithms you are applying to them.
This superb "Decorator Pattern" tutorial by Derek Banas (which - funnily enough - also uses pizza as an example) is a worthwhile illustration:
The problem is that [...]
in python has two distinct meanings
expr [ index ]
means accessing an element of a list[ expr1, expr2, expr3 ]
means building a list of three elements from three expressionsIn your code you forgot the comma between the expressions for the items in the outer list:
[ [a, b, c] [d, e, f] [g, h, i] ]
therefore Python interpreted the start of second element as an index to be applied to the first and this is what the error message is saying.
The correct syntax for what you're looking for is
[ [a, b, c], [d, e, f], [g, h, i] ]
