It is very dangerous to create an access_key_id in "My Account ==> Security Credentials". Because the key has all authority. Please create "IAM" user and attach only some policies you need.
Converting to a DATE
or using an open-ended date range in any case will yield the best performance. FYI, convert to date using an index are the best performers. More testing a different techniques in article: What is the most efficient way to trim time from datetime? Posted by Aaron Bertrand
From that article:
DECLARE @dateVar datetime = '19700204';
-- Quickest when there is an index on t.[DateColumn],
-- because CONVERT can still use the index.
SELECT t.[DateColumn]
FROM MyTable t
WHERE = CONVERT(DATE, t.[DateColumn]) = CONVERT(DATE, @dateVar);
-- Quicker when there is no index on t.[DateColumn]
DECLARE @dateEnd datetime = DATEADD(DAY, 1, @dateVar);
SELECT t.[DateColumn]
FROM MyTable t
WHERE t.[DateColumn] >= @dateVar AND
t.[DateColumn] < @dateEnd;
Also from that article: using BETWEEN
, DATEDIFF
or CONVERT(CHAR(8)...
are all slower.
Make the member private and add a setter/getter pair. In your setter, if null, then set default value instead. Additionally, I have shown the snippet with the getter also returning a default when internal value is null.
class JavaObject {
private static final String DEFAULT="Default Value";
public JavaObject() {
}
@NotNull
private String notNullMember;
public void setNotNullMember(String value){
if (value==null) { notNullMember=DEFAULT; return; }
notNullMember=value;
return;
}
public String getNotNullMember(){
if (notNullMember==null) { return DEFAULT;}
return notNullMember;
}
public String optionalMember;
}
For me, it was having display: none;
#spinner-success-text {
display: none;
transition: all 1s ease-in;
}
#spinner-success-text.show {
display: block;
}
Removing it, and using opacity
instead, fixed the issue.
#spinner-success-text {
opacity: 0;
transition: all 1s ease-in;
}
#spinner-success-text.show {
opacity: 1;
}
random.sample(population, k)
It is used for randomly sampling a sample of length 'k'
from a population. returns a 'k'
length list of unique elements chosen from the population sequence or set
it returns a new list and leaves the original population unchanged and the resulting list is in selection order so that all sub-slices will also be valid random samples
I am putting up an example in which I am splitting a dataset randomly. It is basically a function in which you pass x_train(population)
as an argument and return indices of 60%
of the data as D_test
.
import random
def randomly_select_70_percent_of_data_from_1_to_length(x_train):
return random.sample(range(0, len(x_train)), int(0.6*len(x_train)))
I'm working with zip files which Java's ZipFile class isn't able to handle. Java 8 apparently can't handle compression method 12 (bzip2 I believe). After trying a number of methods including zip4j (which also fails with these particular files due to another issue), I had success with Apache's commons-compress which supports additional compression methods as mentioned here.
Note that the ZipFile class below is not the one from java.util.zip.
It's actually org.apache.commons.compress.archivers.zip.ZipFile so be careful with the imports.
try (ZipFile zipFile = new ZipFile(archiveFile)) {
Enumeration<ZipArchiveEntry> entries = zipFile.getEntries();
while (entries.hasMoreElements()) {
ZipArchiveEntry entry = entries.nextElement();
File entryDestination = new File(destination, entry.getName());
if (entry.isDirectory()) {
entryDestination.mkdirs();
} else {
entryDestination.getParentFile().mkdirs();
try (InputStream in = zipFile.getInputStream(entry); OutputStream out = new FileOutputStream(entryDestination)) {
IOUtils.copy(in, out);
}
}
}
} catch (IOException ex) {
log.debug("Error unzipping archive file: " + archiveFile, ex);
}
For Gradle:
compile 'org.apache.commons:commons-compress:1.18'

now Nuget Package Manager Console in Visual Studio 2012 gives you a "Restore" button automatically as soon it find any package not installed but in there in package.config. Awesome Feature!
Your conclusion (1) sounds wrong. There must be some other factor at play.
The problem of quotes in batch file parameters is normally solved by removing the quotes with %~
and then putting them back manually where appropriate.
E.g.:
set cmd=%~1
set params=%~2 %~3
"%cmd%" %params%
Note the quotes around %cmd%
. Without them, path with spaces won't work.
If you could post your entire batch code, maybe more specific answer could be made.
Use the Set#toArray(IntFunction<T[]>)
method taking an IntFunction
as generator.
String[] GPXFILES1 = myset.toArray(String[]::new);
If you're not on Java 11 yet, then use the Set#toArray(T[])
method taking a typed array argument of the same size.
String[] GPXFILES1 = myset.toArray(new String[myset.size()]);
While still not on Java 11, and you can't guarantee that myset
is unmodifiable at the moment of conversion to array, then better specify an empty typed array.
String[] GPXFILES1 = myset.toArray(new String[0]);
I do not see http://wordlist.sourceforge.net/ mentioned here, but that is where I would start if I were looking for something like this (and I was, when I stumbled over this question).
If you cannot find what you want there, and what you want is a list of english words, then you should probably spend some extra time describing how to recognize what it is that you want.
If you already have the full local copy, you can remove unwanted sub folders by using --set-depth
command.
svn update --set-depth=exclude www
See: http://blogs.collab.net/subversion/sparse-directories-now-with-exclusion
The set-depth
command support multipile paths.
Updating the root local copy will not change the depth of the modified folder.
To restore the folder to being recusively checkingout, you could use --set-depth
again with infinity param.
svn update --set-depth=infinity www
Lot of very detailed answers here but I don't think you are answering the right questions. As I understand the question, there are two concerns:
You can use most of the scoring functions in scikit-learn with both multiclass problem as with single class problems. Ex.:
from sklearn.metrics import precision_recall_fscore_support as score
predicted = [1,2,3,4,5,1,2,1,1,4,5]
y_test = [1,2,3,4,5,1,2,1,1,4,1]
precision, recall, fscore, support = score(y_test, predicted)
print('precision: {}'.format(precision))
print('recall: {}'.format(recall))
print('fscore: {}'.format(fscore))
print('support: {}'.format(support))
This way you end up with tangible and interpretable numbers for each of the classes.
| Label | Precision | Recall | FScore | Support |
|-------|-----------|--------|--------|---------|
| 1 | 94% | 83% | 0.88 | 204 |
| 2 | 71% | 50% | 0.54 | 127 |
| ... | ... | ... | ... | ... |
| 4 | 80% | 98% | 0.89 | 838 |
| 5 | 93% | 81% | 0.91 | 1190 |
Then...
... you can tell if the unbalanced data is even a problem. If the scoring for the less represented classes (class 1 and 2) are lower than for the classes with more training samples (class 4 and 5) then you know that the unbalanced data is in fact a problem, and you can act accordingly, as described in some of the other answers in this thread. However, if the same class distribution is present in the data you want to predict on, your unbalanced training data is a good representative of the data, and hence, the unbalance is a good thing.
There is a slack tool to delete all slack messages on your workspace. Check it out: https://www.messagebender.com
I have found a solution. This worked for me:
import numpy as np
import matplotlib.pyplot as plt
points = np.arange(-5, 5, 0.01)
dx, dy = np.meshgrid(points, points)
z = (np.sin(dx)+np.sin(dy))
plt.imshow(z)
plt.colorbar()
plt.title('plot for sin(x)+sin(y)')
plt.show()
You are not passing the variable correctly. One fast solution is to make a global variable like this:
var global_json_data;
$(document).ready(function() {
var json_source = "https://spreadsheets.google.com/feeds/list/0ApL1zT2P00q5dG1wOUMzSlNVV3VRV2pwQ2Fnbmt3M0E/od7/public/basic?alt=json";
var string_data ="";
var json_data = $.ajax({
dataType: 'json', // Return JSON
url: json_source,
success: function(data){
var data_obj = [];
for (i=0; i<data.feed.entry.length; i++){
var el = {'key': data.feed.entry[i].title['$t'], 'value': '<p><a href="'+data.feed.entry[i].content['$t']+'>'+data.feed.entry[i].title['$t']+'</a></p>'};
data_obj.push(el)};
console.log("data grabbed");
global_json_data = data_obj;
return data_obj;
},
error: function(jqXHR, textStatus, errorThrown){
$('#results_box').html('<h2>Something went wrong!</h2><p><b>' + textStatus + '</b> ' + errorThrown + '</p>');
}
});
$(':submit').click(function(event){
var json_data = global_json_data;
event.preventDefault();
console.log(json_data.length);
//function
if ($('#place').val() !=''){
var copy_string = $('#place').val();
var converted_string = copy_string;
for (i=0; i<json_data.length; i++){
//console_log(data.feed.entry[i].title['$t']);
converted_string = converted_string.replace(json_data.feed.entry[i].title['$t'],
'<a href="'+json_data.feed.entry[i].content['$t']+'>'+json_data.feed.entry[i].title['$t']+'</a>');
}
$('#results_box').text(converted_string).html();
}
});
});//document ready end
Also you can use f-string formatting to write integer to file
For appending use following code, for writing once replace 'a' with 'w'.
for i in s_list:
with open('path_to_file','a') as file:
file.write(f'{i}\n')
file.close()
From my point of view,
I am going to take a different approach here and suggest that it is just as important for your fellow developers to understand your code as it is for the compiler/database to. Using boolean may do the same thing as using tinyint, however it has the advantage of semantically conveying what your intention is, and that's worth something.
If you use a tinyint, it's not obvious that the only values you should see are 0 and 1. A boolean is ALWAYS true or false.
You forgot to mention the name of your database (is it "my"?).
ALTER DATABASE my SET SINGLE_USER WITH ROLLBACK IMMEDIATE;
ALTER DATABASE my SET OFFLINE;
ALTER DATABASE my MODIFY FILE
(
Name = my_Data,
Filename = 'D:\DATA\my.MDF'
);
ALTER DATABASE my MODIFY FILE
(
Name = my_Log,
Filename = 'D:\DATA\my_1.LDF'
);
Now here you must manually move the files from their current location to D:\Data\ (and remember to rename them manually if you changed them in the MODIFY FILE command) ... then you can bring the database back online:
ALTER DATABASE my SET ONLINE;
ALTER DATABASE my SET MULTI_USER;
This assumes that the SQL Server service account has sufficient privileges on the D:\Data\ folder. If not you will receive errors at the SET ONLINE command.
1) in a query window in SQL Server Management Studio, run the command:
SET SHOWPLAN_ALL ON
2) run your slow query
3) your query will not run, but the execution plan will be returned. store this output
4) run your fast version of the query
5) your query will not run, but the execution plan will be returned. store this output
6) compare the slow query version output to the fast query version output.
7) if you still don't know why one is slower, post both outputs in your question (edit it) and someone here can help from there.
I ran into this problem that cost me a little time, then remembered that git won't store empty folders. Remember that if you have a folder tree you want stored, put a file in at least the deepest folder of that tree, something like a file called ".gitkeep", just to affect storage by git.
I ran across this error recently using a javascript library which changes the parameters of a function based on conditions.
You can test an object to see if it has the function. I would only do this in scenarios where you don't control what is getting passed to you.
if( param.indexOf != undefined ) {
// we have a string or other object that
// happens to have a function named indexOf
}
You can test this in your browser console:
> (3).indexOf == undefined;
true
> "".indexOf == undefined;
false
You need to have the System.Linq
namespace included in your view since Select is an extension method. You have a couple of options on how to do this:
Add @using System.Linq
to the top of your cshtml file.
If you find that you will be using this namespace often in many of your views, you can do this for all views by modifying the web.config inside of your Views folder (not the one at the root). You should see a pages/namespace XML element, create a new add
child that adds System.Linq. Here is an example:
<configuration>
<system.web.webPages.razor>
<pages>
<namespaces>
<add namespace="System.Linq" />
</namespaces>
</pages>
</system.web.webPages.razor>
</configuration>

<input type="text" name="lastname">
<input type="text" name="email">

<input type="text" name="tree[tree1][height]">
<input type="text" name="tree[tree2][fruit]">
<input type="text" name="tree[tree2][height]">
<input type="text" name="tree[tree3][fruit]">
<input type="text" name="tree[tree3][height]">

$_POST[] = array(
'firstname'=>'value',
'lastname'=>'value',
'email'=>'value',
'address'=>'value',
'tree' => array(
'tree1'=>array(
'fruit'=>'value',
'height'=>'value'
),
'tree2'=>array(
'fruit'=>'value',
'height'=>'value'
),
'tree3'=>array(
'fruit'=>'value',
'height'=>'value'

Solution 1:
Go to your android folder > Gradle.properties > add your jdk path.
Clean and rebuild then it is done. // For Example Purpose Only
org.gradle.java.home=/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/jdk1.8.0_251.jdk/Contents/Home
Solution 2 At last, here I found the solution.
Add jdk path
to gradle.properties file and did a rebuild.
This will also solve your error.
Here is all Solution could not find tools.jar
Use
var str = $("form").serialize();
Serialize a form to a query string, that could be sent to a server in an Ajax request.
the problem here is that by using the apostrophes you are setting the value being passed to be a string, when in fact, as @Shijo stated from the documentation, the function is expecting a label or list, but not a string! If the list contains each of the name of the columns beings passed for both the left and right dataframe, then each column-name must individually be within apostrophes. With what has been stated, we can understand why this is inccorect:
new_df = pd.merge(A_df, B_df, how='left', left_on='[A_c1,c2]', right_on = '[B_c1,c2]')
And this is the correct way of using the function:
new_df = pd.merge(A_df, B_df, how='left', left_on=['A_c1','c2'], right_on = ['B_c1','c2'])
It appears that you can throw only RuntimeException from the method orElseThrow
. Otherwise you will get an error message like MyException cannot be converted to java.lang.RuntimeException
Update:- This was an issue with an older version of JDK. I don't see this issue with the latest versions.
Use Hosts Commander. It's simple and powerful. Translated description (from russian) here.

You can trigger Jenkins builds remotely and to pass parameters by using the following query.
JENKINS_URL/job/job-name/buildWithParameters?token=TOKEN_NAME¶m_name1=value¶m_name1=value
JENKINS_URL

Use the following JavaScript to get the value after hash (#) from a URL. You don't need to use jQuery for that.
var hash = location.hash.substr(1);
I have got this code and tutorial from here - How to get hash value from URL using JavaScript
From a controller you can also return an Object/Array and it will be sent as a JSON response (including the correct HTTP headers).
public function show($id)
{
return Customer::find($id);
}
This is how I did it.

You neglected to say which version of C you are concerned about. Let's assume it's this one:
http://www.open-std.org/jtc1/sc22/wg14/www/docs/n1570.pdf
As you can see by reading the specification, the standard definitions of true
and false
are 1 and 0, yes.
If your question is about a different version of C, or about non-standard definitions for true
and false
, then ask a more specific question.

Javascript inheritance seems to be like an open debate everywhere. It can be called "The curious case of Javascript language".
The idea is that there is a base class and then you extend the base class to get an inheritance-like feature (not completely, but still).
The whole idea is to get what prototype really means. I did not get it until I saw John Resig's code (close to what jQuery.extend
does) wrote a code chunk that does it and he claims that base2 and prototype libraries were the source of inspiration.
Here is the code.
/* Simple JavaScript Inheritance
* By John Resig http://ejohn.org/
* MIT Licensed.
*/
// Inspired by base2 and Prototype
(function(){
var initializing = false, fnTest = /xyz/.test(function(){xyz;}) ? /\b_super\b/ : /.*/;
// The base Class implementation (does nothing)
this.Class = function(){};
// Create a new Class that inherits from this class
Class.extend = function(prop) {
var _super = this.prototype;
// Instantiate a base class (but only create the instance,
// don't run the init constructor)
initializing = true;
var prototype = new this();
initializing = false;
// Copy the properties over onto the new prototype
for (var name in prop) {
// Check if we're overwriting an existing function
prototype[name] = typeof prop[name] == "function" &&
typeof _super[name] == "function" && fnTest.test(prop[name]) ?
(function(name, fn){
return function() {
var tmp = this._super;
// Add a new ._super() method that is the same method
// but on the super-class
this._super = _super[name];
// The method only need to be bound temporarily, so we
// remove it when we're done executing
var ret = fn.apply(this, arguments);
this._super = tmp;
return ret;
};
})(name, prop[name]) :
prop[name];
}
// The dummy class constructor
function Class() {
// All construction is actually done in the init method
if ( !initializing && this.init )
this.init.apply(this, arguments);
}
// Populate our constructed prototype object
Class.prototype = prototype;
// Enforce the constructor to be what we expect
Class.prototype.constructor = Class;
// And make this class extendable
Class.extend = arguments.callee;
return Class;
};
})();
There are three parts which are doing the job. First, you loop through the properties and add them to the instance. After that, you create a constructor for later to be added to the object.Now, the key lines are:
// Populate our constructed prototype object
Class.prototype = prototype;
// Enforce the constructor to be what we expect
Class.prototype.constructor = Class;
You first point the Class.prototype
to the desired prototype. Now, the whole object has changed meaning that you need to force the layout back to its own one.
And the usage example:
var Car = Class.Extend({
setColor: function(clr){
color = clr;
}
});
var volvo = Car.Extend({
getColor: function () {
return color;
}
});

Current thinking: hashes should be the slowest available, not the fastest possible. This suppresses rainbow table attacks.
Also related, but precautionary: An attacker should never have unlimited access to your login screen. To prevent that: Set up an IP address tracking table that records every hit along with the URI. If more than 5 attempts to login come from the same IP address in any five minute period, block with explanation. A secondary approach is to have a two-tiered password scheme, like banks do. Putting a lock-out for failures on the second pass boosts security.
Summary: slow down the attacker by using time-consuming hash functions. Also, block on too many accesses to your login, and add a second password tier.
You forgot braces around the if block, and a semicolon between the statements in the block.
awk '{if($3 != 0) {a = ($3/$4); print $0, a;} else if($3==0) print $0, "-" }' file > out
The reason is actually very simple. When using a query parameter you can take in characters such as "/" and your client does not need to html encode them. There are other reasons but that is a simple example. As for when to use a path variable. I would say whenever you are dealing with ids or if the path variable is a direction for a query.
Try this:
Create a model called Profile
and reference the user with a OneToOneField
and provide an option of related_name
.
models.py
from django.db import models
from django.contrib.auth.models import *
from django.dispatch import receiver
from django.db.models.signals import post_save
class Profile(models.Model):
user = models.OneToOneField(User, on_delete=models.CASCADE, related_name='user_profile')
def __str__(self):
return self.user.username
@receiver(post_save, sender=User)
def create_profile(sender, instance, created, **kwargs):
try:
if created:
Profile.objects.create(user=instance).save()
except Exception as err:
print('Error creating user profile!')
Now to directly access the profile using a User
object you can use the related_name
.
views.py
from django.http import HttpResponse
def home(request):
profile = f'profile of {request.user.user_profile}'
return HttpResponse(profile)
For more general boolean functions that you would like to use as a filter and that depend on more than one column, you can use:
df = df[df[['col_1','col_2']].apply(lambda x: f(*x), axis=1)]
where f is a function that is applied to every pair of elements (x1, x2) from col_1 and col_2 and returns True or False depending on any condition you want on (x1, x2).

First of all: it is very unfortunate and surprising that R cannot draw error bars "out of the box".
Here is my favourite workaround, the advantage is that you do not need any extra packages. The trick is to draw arrows (!) but with little horizontal bars instead of arrowheads (!!!). This not-so-straightforward idea comes from the R Wiki Tips and is reproduced here as a worked-out example.
Let's assume you have a vector of "average values" avg
and another vector of "standard deviations" sdev
, they are of the same length n
. Let's make the abscissa just the number of these "measurements", so x <- 1:n
. Using these, here come the plotting commands:
plot(x, avg,
ylim=range(c(avg-sdev, avg+sdev)),
pch=19, xlab="Measurements", ylab="Mean +/- SD",
main="Scatter plot with std.dev error bars"
)
# hack: we draw arrows but with very special "arrowheads"
arrows(x, avg-sdev, x, avg+sdev, length=0.05, angle=90, code=3)
The result looks like this:
In the arrows(...)
function length=0.05
is the size of the "arrowhead" in inches, angle=90
specifies that the "arrowhead" is perpendicular to the shaft of the arrow, and the particularly intuitive code=3
parameter specifies that we want to draw an arrowhead on both ends of the arrow.
For horizontal error bars the following changes are necessary, assuming that the sdev
vector now contains the errors in the x
values and the y
values are the ordinates:
plot(x, y,
xlim=range(c(x-sdev, x+sdev)),
pch=19,...)
# horizontal error bars
arrows(x-sdev, y, x+sdev, y, length=0.05, angle=90, code=3)
You need to convert age1 into int first, so it can do the minus. After that turn the result back to string for display:
name1 = raw_input("What's your name? ")
age1 = raw_input ("how old are you? ")
twentyone = str(21 - int(age1))
print "Hi, " + name1+ " you will be 21 in: " + twentyone + " years."
You dont have to bind anything, Just use Arrow functions like this:
class Counter extends React.Component {
constructor(props) {
super(props);
this.state = {
count: 1
};
}
//ARROW FUNCTION
delta = () => {
this.setState({
count: this.state.count++
});
}
render() {
return (
<div>
<h1>{this.state.count}</h1>
<button onClick={this.delta}>+</button>
</div>
);
}
}
. "$PSScriptRoot\MyFunctions.ps1"
MyA1Func
Availalbe starting in v3, before that see How can I get the file system location of a PowerShell script?. It is VERY common.
P.S. I don't subscribe to the 'everything is a module' rule. My scripts are used by other developers out of GIT, so I don't like to put stuff in specific a place or modify system environment variables before my script will run. It's just a script (or two, or three).
The only answer which gives the correct 359deg:
@keyframes spin {
from { transform: rotate(0deg); }
to { transform: rotate(359deg); }
}
&.active {
animation: spin 1s linear infinite;
}
Here's a useful gradient so you can prove it is spinning (if its a circle):
background: linear-gradient(to bottom, #000000 0%,#ffffff 100%);
At the beginning with the usepackage
definitions include:
\usepackage{placeins}
And before and after add:
\FloatBarrier
\begin{table}[h]
\begin{tabular}{llll}
....
\end{tabular}
\end{table}
\FloatBarrier
This places the table exactly where you want in the text.
Use:
DefaultTableModel model = new DefaultTableModel();
JTable table = new JTable(model);
// Create a couple of columns
model.addColumn("Col1");
model.addColumn("Col2");
// Append a row
model.addRow(new Object[]{"v1", "v2"});
I find a problem with the getDate()/setDate() method is that it too easily turns everything into milliseconds, and the syntax is sometimes hard for me to follow.
Instead I like to work off the fact that 1 day = 86,400,000 milliseconds.
So, for your particular question:
today = new Date()
days = 86400000 //number of milliseconds in a day
fiveDaysAgo = new Date(today - (5*days))
Works like a charm.
I use this method all the time for doing rolling 30/60/365 day calculations.
You can easily extrapolate this to create units of time for months, years, etc.
Other answers were not working when I put setResult
in onBackPressed
. Commenting call to super onBackPressed
and calling finish
manually solves the problem:
@Override
public void onBackPressed() {
//super.onBackPressed();
Intent i = new Intent();
i.putExtra(EXTRA_NON_DOWNLOADED_PAGES, notDownloaded);
setResult(RESULT_OK, i);
finish();
}
And in first activity:
@Override
protected void onActivityResult(int requestCode, int resultCode, Intent data) {
super.onActivityResult(requestCode, resultCode, data);
if (requestCode == QUEUE_MSG) {
if (resultCode == RESULT_OK) {
Serializable tmp = data.getSerializableExtra(MainActivity.EXTRA_NON_DOWNLOADED_PAGES);
if (tmp != null)
serializable = tmp;
}
}
}
The PECS "rule" just ensures that the following is legal:
?
is, it can legally refer to T
?
is, it can legally be referred to by T
The typical pairing along the lines of List<? extends T> producer, List<? super T> consumer
is simply ensuring that the compiler can enforce the standard "IS-A" inheritance relationship rules. If we could do so legally, it might be simpler to say <T extends ?>, <? extends T>
(or better yet in Scala, as you can see above, it's [-T], [+T]
. Unfortunately the best we can do is <? super T>, <? extends T>
.
When I first encountered this and broke it down in my head the mechanics made sense but the code itself continued to look confusing to me - I kept thinking "it seems like the bounds shouldn't need to be inverted like that" - even though I was clear on the above - that it's simply about guaranteeing compliance with the standard rules of reference.
What helped me was looking at it using ordinary assignment as an analogy.
Consider the following (not production ready) toy code:
// copies the elements of 'producer' into 'consumer'
static <T> void copy(List<? extends T> producer, List<? super T> consumer) {
for(T t : producer)
consumer.add(t);
}
Illustrating this in terms of the assignment analogy, for consumer
the ?
wildcard (unknown type) is the reference - the "left hand side" of the assignment - and <? super T>
ensures that whatever ?
is, T
"IS-A" ?
- that T
can be assigned to it, because ?
is a super type (or at most the same type) as T
.
For producer
the concern is the same it's just inverted: producer
's ?
wildcard (unknown type) is the referent - the "right hand side" of the assignment - and <? extends T>
ensures that whatever ?
is, ?
"IS-A" T
- that it can be assigned to a T
, because ?
is a sub type (or at least the same type) as T
.
/path/to/python2.{5,6} /path/to/pip install PackageName
doesn't work?
For this to work on any python version that doesn't have pip already installed you need to download pip and do python*version* setup.py install
. For example python3.3 setup.py install
. This resolves the import error in the comments. (As suggested by @hbdgaf)
Solution (Work Perfect for React JS, Next JS)
You can use js-file-download and this is my example:
import axios from 'axios'
import fileDownload from 'js-file-download'
...
handleDownload = (url, filename) => {
axios.get(url, {
responseType: 'blob',
})
.then((res) => {
fileDownload(res.data, filename)
})
}
...
<button onClick={() => {this.handleDownload('https://your-website.com/your-image.jpg', 'test-download.jpg')
}}>Download Image</button>
This plugin can download excel and other file types.
I just solved this problem by unchecking Read only
checkbox of the Program Files/eclipse
folder on win7.
Apply to all files and folders.
Probably the simplest way is to use curl
for this, there is no need to install any additional packages and it can be configured directly in a request.
Here is an example using gmail smtp server:
curl --url 'smtps://smtp.gmail.com:465' --ssl-reqd \
--mail-from '[email protected]' \
--mail-rcpt '[email protected]' \
--user '[email protected]:YourPassword' \
-T <(echo -e 'From: [email protected]\nTo: [email protected]\nSubject: Curl Test\n\nHello')
If using TextBox2.Text
as the source for a numeric value, it must first be checked to see if a value exists, and then converted to integer.
If the text box is blank when Convert.ToInt32
is called, you will receive the System.FormatException
. Suggest trying:
protected void SetImageWidth()
{
try{
Image1.Width = Convert.ToInt32(TextBox1.Text);
}
catch(System.FormatException)
{
Image1.Width = 100; // or other default value as appropriate in context.
}
}
What about paint.getTextBounds() (object method)
This works:
find ./<SOURCE_DIR>/ -type d | sed 's/\.\/<SOURCE_DIR>//g' | xargs -I {} mkdir -p <DEST_DIR>"/{}"
Just replace SOURCE_DIR and DEST_DIR.
If you need specific columns printed with arbitrary delimeter:
awk '{print $3 " " $4}'
col#3 col#4
awk '{print $3 "anything" $4}'
col#3anythingcol#4
So if you have whitespace in a column it will be two columns, but you can connect it with any delimiter or without it.

curl -u username:password http://
curl -u username http://
From the documentation page:
-u, --user <user:password>
Specify the user name and password to use for server authentication. Overrides -n, --netrc and --netrc-optional.
If you simply specify the user name, curl will prompt for a password.
The user name and passwords are split up on the first colon, which makes it impossible to use a colon in the user name with this option. The password can, still.
When using Kerberos V5 with a Windows based server you should include the Windows domain name in the user name, in order for the server to succesfully obtain a Kerberos Ticket. If you don't then the initial authentication handshake may fail.
When using NTLM, the user name can be specified simply as the user name, without the domain, if there is a single domain and forest in your setup for example.
To specify the domain name use either Down-Level Logon Name or UPN (User Principal Name) formats. For example, EXAMPLE\user and [email protected] respectively.
If you use a Windows SSPI-enabled curl binary and perform Kerberos V5, Negotiate, NTLM or Digest authentication then you can tell curl to select the user name and password from your environment by specifying a single colon with this option: "-u :".
If this option is used several times, the last one will be used.
http://curl.haxx.se/docs/manpage.html#-u
Note that you do not need --basic
flag as it is the default.
I had this problems when I was running my application using docker containers.
The solution was put the name of the MySQL service container I was using in docker_compose.yml
on DB_HOST. In my case, it was db
:
DB_HOST=db
Hope it helps.
Got a solution that runs. Don't know if it is optimal though. What I do is to split the string according to http://blogs.oracle.com/aramamoo/2010/05/how_to_split_comma_separated_string_and_pass_to_in_clause_of_select_statement.html
Using:
select regexp_substr(' 1, 2 , 3 ','[^,]+', 1, level) from dual
connect by regexp_substr('1 , 2 , 3 ', '[^,]+', 1, level) is not null;
So my final code looks like this ($bp_gr1'
are strings like 1,2,3
):
UPDATE TAB1
SET BUDGPOST_GR1 =
CASE
WHEN ( BUDGPOST IN (SELECT REGEXP_SUBSTR ( '$BP_GR1',
'[^,]+',
1,
LEVEL )
FROM DUAL
CONNECT BY REGEXP_SUBSTR ( '$BP_GR1',
'[^,]+',
1,
LEVEL )
IS NOT NULL) )
THEN
'BP_GR1'
WHEN ( BUDGPOST IN (SELECT REGEXP_SUBSTR ( ' $BP_GR2',
'[^,]+',
1,
LEVEL )
FROM DUAL
CONNECT BY REGEXP_SUBSTR ( '$BP_GR2',
'[^,]+',
1,
LEVEL )
IS NOT NULL) )
THEN
'BP_GR2'
WHEN ( BUDGPOST IN (SELECT REGEXP_SUBSTR ( ' $BP_GR3',
'[^,]+',
1,
LEVEL )
FROM DUAL
CONNECT BY REGEXP_SUBSTR ( '$BP_GR3',
'[^,]+',
1,
LEVEL )
IS NOT NULL) )
THEN
'BP_GR3'
WHEN ( BUDGPOST IN (SELECT REGEXP_SUBSTR ( '$BP_GR4',
'[^,]+',
1,
LEVEL )
FROM DUAL
CONNECT BY REGEXP_SUBSTR ( '$BP_GR4',
'[^,]+',
1,

IS NOT NULL) )
THEN
'BP_GR4'
ELSE
'SAKNAR BUDGETGRUPP'
END;
Is there a way to make it run faster?
First want to credit @emil-ingerslev for an awesome answer. I tested it and it worked perfectly. There were two things however I wanted to improve.
<iframe id="ifmcontentstoprint" style="height: 0px; width: 0px; position: absolute"></iframe>
already in the dom tree.I hope this makes others happy and saves a few minutes of life. Now go take those extra minutes and do something nice for someone.
function printPartOfPage(elementId, uniqueIframeId){
const content = document.getElementById(elementId)
let pri
if (document.getElementById(uniqueIframeId)) {
pri = document.getElementById(uniqueIframeId).contentWindow
} else {
const iframe = document.createElement('iframe')
iframe.setAttribute('title', uniqueIframeId)
iframe.setAttribute('id', uniqueIframeId)
iframe.setAttribute('style', 'height: 0px; width: 0px; position: absolute;')
document.body.appendChild(iframe)
pri = iframe.contentWindow
}
pri.document.open()
pri.document.write(content.innerHTML)
pri.document.close()
pri.focus()
pri.print()
}
EDIT 2019-7-23: After using this more, this does have the downside that it doesn't perfectly render react components. This worked for me when the styling was inline but not when handled by styled-components or some other situations. If I come up with a foolproof method I will update.
Puts the error message on top.
<style>
.radio-group{
position:relative; margin-top:40px;
}
#myoptions-error{
position:absolute;
top: -25px;
}
</style>

<input type="radio" name="myoptions" value="red"> Red<br />
<input type="radio" name="myoptions" value="green"> Green </div>
</div><!-- end radio-group -->
You can encapsulate the list trivially:
using System;
using System.Collections.Generic;
using System.Xml.Serialization;
[XmlRoot("user_list")]
public class UserList
{
public UserList() {Items = new List<User>();}
[XmlElement("user")]
public List<User> Items {get;set;}
}
public class User
{
[XmlElement("id")]
public Int32 Id { get; set; }
[XmlElement("name")]
public String Name { get; set; }
}
static class Program
{
static void Main()
{
XmlSerializer ser= new XmlSerializer(typeof(UserList));
UserList list = new UserList();
list.Items.Add(new User { Id = 1, Name = "abc"});
list.Items.Add(new User { Id = 2, Name = "def"});
list.Items.Add(new User { Id = 3, Name = "ghi"});
ser.Serialize(Console.Out, list);
}
}
The easiest way to block these temporarily for testing purposes is to open up the inspect page in chrome by right-clicking anywhere on the page and clicking inspect or by pressing Ctrl+Shift+j
and then going to the networking tab and then reloading the page which will send all the requests your page is supposed to make including that annoying favicon.ico. You can now simply right click the favicon.ico request and click "Block request URL".
All of the above answers are for devs who control the app source code. If you are a sysadmin, who's figuring our load-balancer or proxying configuration and is annoyed by this favicon.ico shenanigans, this simple trick does a better job. This answer is for Chrome, but I think there should be a similar alternative which you would figure out for Firefox/Opera/Tor/any other browser :)
Okay, I have figured this out. It is due to the Manifest parameter android:targetSandboxVersion="2"
, that I have added because we also have Instant App version - it should make sure than once user upgrades from Instant App to regular app, he will not loose his data with the transfer. However as the vague description suggest:
Specifies the target sandbox this app wants to use. Higher sanbox versions will have increasing levels of security.
The default value of this attribute is 1.
It obviously also adds new level of security policy, at least on Android 8.

I have also put together a live demo that's available to play with HERE
First of all, I try to install the glyphicons fonts by the "oficial" way, with the zip file. I could not do it.
This is my step-by-step solution:
However, for a more easy acces, this is the link of the woff file.
http://getbootstrap.com/dist/fonts/glyphicons-halflings-regular.woff
You could fill the dependend cell (D2) by a User Defined Function (VBA Macro Function) that takes the value of the C2-Cell as input parameter, returning the current date as ouput.
Having C2 as input parameter for the UDF in D2 tells Excel that it needs to reevaluate D2 everytime C2 changes (that is if auto-calculation of formulas is turned on for the workbook).
EDIT:
Here is some code:
For the UDF:
Public Function UDF_Date(ByVal data) As Date
UDF_Date = Now()
End Function
As Formula in D2:
=UDF_Date(C2)
You will have to give the D2-Cell a Date-Time Format, or it will show a numeric representation of the date-value.
And you can expand the formula over the desired range by draging it if you keep the C2 reference in the D2-formula relative.
Note: This still might not be the ideal solution because every time Excel recalculates the workbook the date in D2 will be reset to the current value. To make D2 only reflect the last time C2 was changed there would have to be some kind of tracking of the past value(s) of C2. This could for example be implemented in the UDF by providing also the address alonside the value of the input parameter, storing the input parameters in a hidden sheet, and comparing them with the previous values everytime the UDF gets called.
Addendum:
Here is a sample implementation of an UDF that tracks the changes of the cell values and returns the date-time when the last changes was detected. When using it, please be aware that:
The usage of the UDF is the same as described above.
The UDF works only for single cell input ranges.
The cell values are tracked by storing the last value of cell and the date-time when the change was detected in the document properties of the workbook. If the formula is used over large datasets the size of the file might increase considerably as for every cell that is tracked by the formula the storage requirements increase (last value of cell + date of last change.) Also, maybe Excel is not capable of handling very large amounts of document properties and the code might brake at a certain point.
If the name of a worksheet is changed all the tracking information of the therein contained cells is lost.
The code might brake for cell-values for which conversion to string is non-deterministic.
The code below is not tested and should be regarded only as proof of concept. Use it at your own risk.
Public Function UDF_Date(ByVal inData As Range) As Date
Dim wb As Workbook
Dim dProps As DocumentProperties
Dim pValue As DocumentProperty
Dim pDate As DocumentProperty
Dim sName As String
Dim sNameDate As String
Dim bDate As Boolean
Dim bValue As Boolean
Dim bChanged As Boolean
bDate = True
bValue = True
bChanged = False
Dim sVal As String
Dim dDate As Date
sName = inData.Address & "_" & inData.Worksheet.Name
sNameDate = sName & "_dat"
sVal = CStr(inData.Value)
dDate = Now()
Set wb = inData.Worksheet.Parent
Set dProps = wb.CustomDocumentProperties
On Error Resume Next
Set pValue = dProps.Item(sName)
If Err.Number <> 0 Then
bValue = False
Err.Clear
End If
On Error GoTo 0
If Not bValue Then
bChanged = True
Set pValue = dProps.Add(sName, False, msoPropertyTypeString, sVal)
Else
bChanged = pValue.Value <> sVal
If bChanged Then
pValue.Value = sVal
End If
End If
On Error Resume Next
Set pDate = dProps.Item(sNameDate)
If Err.Number <> 0 Then
bDate = False
Err.Clear
End If
On Error GoTo 0
If Not bDate Then
Set pDate = dProps.Add(sNameDate, False, msoPropertyTypeDate, dDate)
End If
If bChanged Then
pDate.Value = dDate
Else
dDate = pDate.Value
End If
UDF_Date = dDate
End Function
Make the insertion of the date conditional upon the range.
This has an advantage of not changing the dates unless the content of the cell is changed, and it is in the range C2:C2, even if the sheet is closed and saved, it doesn't recalculate unless the adjacent cell changes.

OK, placeholders behave differently in different browsers, so you need using browser prefix in your CSS to make them identical, for example Firefox gives a transparency to placeholder by default, so need to add opacity 1 to your css, plus the color, it's not a big concern most of the times, but good to have them consistent:
*::-webkit-input-placeholder { /* WebKit browsers */
color: #ccc;
}
*:-moz-placeholder { /* Mozilla Firefox <18 */
color: #ccc;
opacity: 1;
}
*::-moz-placeholder { /* Mozilla Firefox 19+ */
color: #ccc;
opacity: 1;
}
*:-ms-input-placeholder { /* Internet Explorer 10-11 */
color: #ccc;
}
You need to pass it as an XML parameter.
Edit: quick code from my project to give you an idea:
CREATE PROCEDURE [dbo].[GetArrivalsReport]
@DateTimeFrom AS DATETIME,
@DateTimeTo AS DATETIME,
@HostIds AS XML(xsdArrayOfULong)
AS
BEGIN
DECLARE @hosts TABLE (HostId BIGINT)
INSERT INTO @hosts
SELECT arrayOfUlong.HostId.value('.','bigint') data
FROM @HostIds.nodes('/arrayOfUlong/u') as arrayOfUlong(HostId)
Then you can use the temp table to join with your tables. We defined arrayOfUlong as a built in XML schema to maintain data integrity, but you don't have to do that. I'd recommend using it so here's a quick code for to make sure you always get an XML with longs.
IF NOT EXISTS (SELECT * FROM sys.xml_schema_collections WHERE name = 'xsdArrayOfULong')
BEGIN
CREATE XML SCHEMA COLLECTION [dbo].[xsdArrayOfULong]
AS N'<xs:schema xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">
<xs:element name="arrayOfUlong">
<xs:complexType>
<xs:sequence>
<xs:element maxOccurs="unbounded"
name="u"
type="xs:unsignedLong" />
</xs:sequence>
</xs:complexType>
</xs:element>
</xs:schema>';
END
GO
You can get the ids of specifict tags and send it to a annother element. For exemple:
$("input").map(function() {
$( "textarea" ).append(this.id+"\n");
});
It will get all input ids and send it to textarea.
A submodule is nothing but a clone of a git repo within another repo with some extra meta data (gitlink tree entry, .gitmodules file )
$ cd your_submodule
$ git checkout master
<hack,edit>
$ git commit -a -m "commit in submodule"
$ git push
$ cd ..
$ git add your_submodule
$ git commit -m "Updated submodule"
If using Express it's not necessary to use a View Engine at all, use something like this:
<h1>{{ name }} </h1>
This works if you previously set your application to use HTML instead of any View Engine
Apart from using an escaped value as described in my other answer, it is also possible to fix this issue by enabling the Strict Math setting.
With strict math on, only maths that are inside unnecessary parentheses will be processed, so your code:
width: calc(100% - 200px);
Would work as expected with the strict math option enabled.
However, note that Strict Math is applied globally, not only inside calc()
. That means, if you have:
font-size: 12px + 2px;
The math will no longer be processed by Less -- it will output font-size: 12px + 2px
which is, obviously, invalid CSS. You'd have to wrap all maths that should be processed by Less in (previously unnecessary) parentheses:
font-size: (12px + 2px);
Strict Math is a nice option to consider when starting a new project, otherwise you'd possibly have to rewrite a good part of the code base. For the most common use cases, the escaped string approach described in the other answer is more suitable.
You say in a comment you want to get "15.09.2016".
For this, use Date
and DateFormatter
:
let date = Date()
let formatter = DateFormatter()
Give the format you want to the formatter:
formatter.dateFormat = "dd.MM.yyyy"
Get the result string:
let result = formatter.string(from: date)
Set your label:
label.text = result
Result:
15.09.2016
You definitely can return array of configurations from your webpack.config file. But it's not an optimal solution if you just want a copy of artifacts to be in the folder of your project's documentation, since it makes webpack build your code twice doubling the overall time to build.
In this case I'd recommend to use the FileManagerWebpackPlugin plugin instead:
const FileManagerPlugin = require('filemanager-webpack-plugin');
// ...
plugins: [
// ...
new FileManagerPlugin({
onEnd: {
copy: [{
source: './dist/*.*',
destination: './public/',
}],
},
}),
],
The accepted answers animation does not work on Safari, I've updated it using translate instead of padding-left which makes for a smoother, bulletproof animation.
Also, the accepted answers demo fiddle has a lot of unnecessary styles.
So I created a simple version if you just want to cut and paste the useful code and not spend 5 mins clearing through the demo.

You can add this, after your loop.
for (int i = 0; i<53;i++) {
sheet.autoSizeColumn(i);
}
You can create a delay using the following example
setInterval(function(){alert("Hello")},3000);
Replace 3000 with # of milliseconds
You can place the content of what you want executed inside the function.
Just add water style="display:none";
to the <div>
Fiddles I say: http://jsfiddle.net/krY56/13/
jQuery:
function toggler(divId) {
$("#" + divId).toggle();
}
Preferred to have a CSS Class .hidden
.hidden {
display:none;
}
You can use the flex
property at the parent div
and add the margin:auto
property to the children items:
.parent {
display: flex;
/* You can change this to `row` if you want the items side by side instead of stacked */
flex-direction: column;
}
/* Change the `p` tag to what your items child items are */
.parent p {
margin: auto;
}
You can see more options of flex
here: https://css-tricks.com/snippets/css/a-guide-to-flexbox/

Since this seems to be the number one google hit on base64 encoding and iphone, I felt like sharing my experience with the code snippet above.
It works, but it is extremely slow. A benchmark on a random image (0.4 mb) took 37 seconds on native iphone. The main reason is probably all the OOP magic - single char NSStrings etc, which are only autoreleased after the encoding is done.
Another suggestion posted here (ab)uses the openssl library, which feels like overkill as well.
The code below takes 70 ms - that's a 500 times speedup. This only does base64 encoding (decoding will follow as soon as I encounter it)
+ (NSString *) base64StringFromData: (NSData *)data length: (int)length {
int lentext = [data length];
if (lentext < 1) return @"";
char *outbuf = malloc(lentext*4/3+4); // add 4 to be sure
if ( !outbuf ) return nil;
const unsigned char *raw = [data bytes];
int inp = 0;
int outp = 0;
int do_now = lentext - (lentext%3);
for ( outp = 0, inp = 0; inp < do_now; inp += 3 )
{
outbuf[outp++] = base64EncodingTable[(raw[inp] & 0xFC) >> 2];
outbuf[outp++] = base64EncodingTable[((raw[inp] & 0x03) << 4) | ((raw[inp+1] & 0xF0) >> 4)];
outbuf[outp++] = base64EncodingTable[((raw[inp+1] & 0x0F) << 2) | ((raw[inp+2] & 0xC0) >> 6)];
outbuf[outp++] = base64EncodingTable[raw[inp+2] & 0x3F];
}
if ( do_now < lentext )
{
char tmpbuf[2] = {0,0};
int left = lentext%3;
for ( int i=0; i < left; i++ )
{
tmpbuf[i] = raw[do_now+i];
}
raw = tmpbuf;
outbuf[outp++] = base64EncodingTable[(raw[inp] & 0xFC) >> 2];
outbuf[outp++] = base64EncodingTable[((raw[inp] & 0x03) << 4) | ((raw[inp+1] & 0xF0) >> 4)];
if ( left == 2 ) outbuf[outp++] = base64EncodingTable[((raw[inp+1] & 0x0F) << 2) | ((raw[inp+2] & 0xC0) >> 6)];
}
NSString *ret = [[[NSString alloc] initWithBytes:outbuf length:outp encoding:NSASCIIStringEncoding] autorelease];
free(outbuf);
return ret;
}
I left out the line-cutting since I didn't need it, but it's trivial to add.
For those who are interested in optimizing: the goal is to minimize what happens in the main loop. Therefore all logic to deal with the last 3 bytes is treated outside the loop.
Also, try to work on data in-place, without additional copying to/from buffers. And reduce any arithmetic to the bare minimum.
Observe that the bits that are put together to look up an entry in the table, would not overlap when they were to be orred together without shifting. A major improvement could therefore be to use 4 separate 256 byte lookup tables and eliminate the shifts, like this:
outbuf[outp++] = base64EncodingTable1[(raw[inp] & 0xFC)];
outbuf[outp++] = base64EncodingTable2[(raw[inp] & 0x03) | (raw[inp+1] & 0xF0)];
outbuf[outp++] = base64EncodingTable3[(raw[inp+1] & 0x0F) | (raw[inp+2] & 0xC0)];
outbuf[outp++] = base64EncodingTable4[raw[inp+2] & 0x3F];
Of course you could take it a whole lot further, but that's beyond the scope here.
You can refresh using JavaScript. Rather than the complete page refresh, you can give the contents to be refreshed in a div. Then by using JavaScript you can refresh that particular div only, and it works faster than the complete page refresh.
Here is a full php script to do what you're describing, though pointless. You need to read up on server-side vs. client-side. PHP can't run on the client-side, you have to use javascript to interact with the server, or put up with a page refresh. If you can't understand that, there is no way you'll be able to use my code (or anyone else's) to your benefit.
The following code performs AJAX call without jQuery, and calls the same script to stream XML to the AJAX. It then inserts your username and a <br/>
in a div below the user box.
Please go back to learning the basics before trying to pursue something as advanced as AJAX. You'll only be confusing yourself in the end and potentially wasting other people's money.

In the Old Days (pre-ANSI), predefining symbols such as unix
and vax
was a way to allow code to detect at compile time what system it was being compiled for. There was no official language standard back then (beyond the reference material at the back of the first edition of K&R), and C code of any complexity was typically a complex maze of #ifdef
s to allow for differences between systems. These macro definitions were generally set by the compiler itself, not defined in a library header file. Since there were no real rules about which identifiers could be used by the implementation and which were reserved for programmers, compiler writers felt free to use simple names like unix
and assumed that programmers would simply avoid using those names for their own purposes.
The 1989 ANSI C standard introduced rules restricting what symbols an implementation could legally predefine. A macro predefined by the compiler could only have a name starting with two underscores, or with an underscore followed by an uppercase letter, leaving programmers free to use identifiers not matching that pattern and not used in the standard library.
As a result, any compiler that predefines unix
or linux
is non-conforming, since it will fail to compile perfectly legal code that uses something like int linux = 5;
.
As it happens, gcc is non-conforming by default -- but it can be made to conform (reasonably well) with the right command-line options:
gcc -std=c90 -pedantic ... # or -std=c89 or -ansi
gcc -std=c99 -pedantic
gcc -std=c11 -pedantic
See the gcc manual for more details.
gcc will be phasing out these definitions in future releases, so you shouldn't write code that depends on them. If your program needs to know whether it's being compiled for a Linux target or not it can check whether __linux__
is defined (assuming you're using gcc or a compiler that's compatible with it). See the GNU C preprocessor manual for more information.
A largely irrelevant aside: the "Best One Liner" winner of the 1987 International Obfuscated C Code Contest, by David Korn (yes, the author of the Korn Shell) took advantage of the predefined unix
macro:
main() { printf(&unix["\021%six\012\0"],(unix)["have"]+"fun"-0x60);}
It prints "unix"
, but for reasons that have absolutely nothing to do with the spelling of the macro name.
You can use stem method to get file name.
Here is an example:
from pathlib import Path
p = Path(r"\\some_directory\subdirectory\my_file.txt")
print(p.stem)
# my_file
If you want to to know how to return a value from stored procedure to Visual Basic.NET. Please read this tutorial: How to return a value from stored procedure
I used the following stored procedure to return the value.
CREATE PROCEDURE usp_get_count
AS
BEGIN
DECLARE @VALUE int;
SET @VALUE=(SELECT COUNT(*) FROM tblCar);
RETURN @VALUE;
END
GO
SqlCommand yourCommand = new SqlCommand();
yourCommand.Connection = yourSqlConn;
yourCommand.Parameters.Add("@yourParam");
yourCommand.Parameters["@yourParam"].Direction = ParameterDirection.Output;
// execute your query successfully
int yourResult = yourCommand.Parameters["@yourParam"].Value;
Is it proper to "reach into" an object and use its dict property?
In general, I would say "no". However Namespace
has struck me as over-engineered, possibly from when classes couldn't inherit from built-in types.
On the other hand, Namespace
does present a task-oriented approach to argparse, and I can't think of a situation that would call for grabbing the __dict__
, but the limits of my imagination are not the same as yours.
If you want to append to the lists of each key inside a dictionary, you can append new values to them using +
operator (tested in Python 3.7):
mydict = {'a':[], 'b':[]}
print(mydict)
mydict['a'] += [1,3]
mydict['b'] += [4,6]
print(mydict)
mydict['a'] += [2,8]
print(mydict)
and the output:
{'a': [], 'b': []}
{'a': [1, 3], 'b': [4, 6]}
{'a': [1, 3, 2, 8], 'b': [4, 6]}
mydict['a'].extend([1,3])
will do the job same as +
without creating a new list (efficient way).
If:
Then, you can pass a list of worksheet names. Which you could populate manually:
import pandas as pd
path = "C:\\Path\\To\\Your\\Data\\"
file = "data.xlsx"
sheet_lst_wanted = ["01_SomeName","05_SomeName","12_SomeName"] # tab names from Excel
### import and compile data ###
# read all sheets from list into an ordered dictionary
dict_temp = pd.read_excel(path+file, sheet_name= sheet_lst_wanted)
# concatenate the ordered dict items into a dataframe
df = pd.concat(dict_temp, axis=0, ignore_index=True)
OR
A bit of automation is possible if your desired worksheets have a common naming convention that also allows you to differentiate from unwanted sheets:
# substitute following block for the sheet_lst_wanted line in above block
import xlrd
# string common to only worksheets you want
str_like = "SomeName"
### create list of sheet names in Excel file ###
xls = xlrd.open_workbook(path+file, on_demand=True)
sheet_lst = xls.sheet_names()
### create list of sheets meeting criteria ###
sheet_lst_wanted = []
for s in sheet_lst:
# note: following conditional statement based on my sheets ending with the string defined in sheet_like
if s[-len(str_like):] == str_like:
sheet_lst_wanted.append(s)
else:
pass
I also ran into this with my xCode 7.3.1, I did below and looks like 22421 is generic error code if Enable Bitcode is checked/selected:
And achieved. - Still build gets uploaded only if I uncheck Enable Bitcode (which I don't understand why)
This code snippet from Convert Datatable to JSON String in C#, VB.NET might help you. It uses System.Web.Script.Serialization.JavaScriptSerializer to serialize the contents to JSON format:
public string ConvertDataTabletoString()
{
DataTable dt = new DataTable();
using (SqlConnection con = new SqlConnection("Data Source=SureshDasari;Initial Catalog=master;Integrated Security=true"))
{
using (SqlCommand cmd = new SqlCommand("select title=City,lat=latitude,lng=longitude,description from LocationDetails", con))
{
con.Open();
SqlDataAdapter da = new SqlDataAdapter(cmd);
da.Fill(dt);
System.Web.Script.Serialization.JavaScriptSerializer serializer = new System.Web.Script.Serialization.JavaScriptSerializer();
List<Dictionary<string, object>> rows = new List<Dictionary<string, object>>();
Dictionary<string, object> row;
foreach (DataRow dr in dt.Rows)
{
row = new Dictionary<string, object>();
foreach (DataColumn col in dt.Columns)
{
row.Add(col.ColumnName, dr[col]);
}
rows.Add(row);
}
return serializer.Serialize(rows);
}
}
}
You can use dynamic variable names and let the variables names work like the keys of a hashmap.
For example, if you have an input file with two columns, name, credit, as the example bellow, and you want to sum the income of each user:
Mary 100
John 200
Mary 50
John 300
Paul 100
Paul 400
David 100
The command bellow will sum everything, using dynamic variables as keys, in the form of map_${person}:
while read -r person money; ((map_$person+=$money)); done < <(cat INCOME_REPORT.log)
To read the results:
set | grep map
The output will be:
map_David=100
map_John=500
map_Mary=150
map_Paul=500
Elaborating on these techniques, I'm developing on GitHub a function that works just like a HashMap Object, shell_map.
In order to create "HashMap instances" the shell_map function is able create copies of itself under different names. Each new function copy will have a different $FUNCNAME variable. $FUNCNAME then is used to create a namespace for each Map instance.
The map keys are global variables, in the form $FUNCNAME_DATA_$KEY, where $KEY is the key added to the Map. These variables are dynamic variables.
Bellow I'll put a simplified version of it so you can use as example.
#!/bin/bash
shell_map () {
local METHOD="$1"
case $METHOD in
new)
local NEW_MAP="$2"
# loads shell_map function declaration
test -n "$(declare -f shell_map)" || return
# declares in the Global Scope a copy of shell_map, under a new name.
eval "${_/shell_map/$2}"
;;
put)
local KEY="$2"
local VALUE="$3"
# declares a variable in the global scope
eval ${FUNCNAME}_DATA_${KEY}='$VALUE'
;;
get)
local KEY="$2"
local VALUE="${FUNCNAME}_DATA_${KEY}"
echo "${!VALUE}"
;;
keys)
declare | grep -Po "(?<=${FUNCNAME}_DATA_)\w+((?=\=))"
;;
name)
echo $FUNCNAME
;;
contains_key)
local KEY="$2"
compgen -v ${FUNCNAME}_DATA_${KEY} > /dev/null && return 0 || return 1
;;
clear_all)
while read var; do
unset $var
done < <(compgen -v ${FUNCNAME}_DATA_)
;;
remove)
local KEY="$2"
unset ${FUNCNAME}_DATA_${KEY}
;;
size)
compgen -v ${FUNCNAME}_DATA_${KEY} | wc -l
;;
*)
echo "unsupported operation '$1'."
return 1
;;
esac
}
Usage:
shell_map new credit
credit put Mary 100
credit put John 200
for customer in `credit keys`; do
value=`credit get $customer`
echo "customer $customer has $value"
done
credit contains_key "Mary" && echo "Mary has credit!"
Run this script from SharePoint 2010 Management Shell as Administrator.
As of February 2019, the solution given by @sylvain (at least on my setup) does not work without a small modification: xObject[obj]['/Filter']
is not a value, but a list, thus in order to make the script work, I had to modify the format checking as follows:
import PyPDF2, traceback
from PIL import Image
input1 = PyPDF2.PdfFileReader(open(src, "rb"))
nPages = input1.getNumPages()
print nPages
for i in range(nPages) :
print i
page0 = input1.getPage(i)
try :
xObject = page0['/Resources']['/XObject'].getObject()
except : xObject = []
for obj in xObject:
if xObject[obj]['/Subtype'] == '/Image':
size = (xObject[obj]['/Width'], xObject[obj]['/Height'])
data = xObject[obj].getData()
try :
if xObject[obj]['/ColorSpace'] == '/DeviceRGB':
mode = "RGB"
elif xObject[obj]['/ColorSpace'] == '/DeviceCMYK':
mode = "CMYK"
# will cause errors when saving
else:
mode = "P"
fn = 'p%03d-%s' % (i + 1, obj[1:])

Under the Tools menu in Visual Studio 2008 (or 2005 if you have the right WCF stuff installed) there is an options called 'WCF Service Configuration Editor'.
From there you can change the binding options for both the client and the services, one of these options will be for time-outs.
For Symfony users: Add a default to your orm column as follows:
/**
* @var DateTime $updatedAt
*
* @ORM\Column(name="updated_at", type="datetime", nullable=false, options={"default" : "CURRENT_TIMESTAMP"})
*/
This variant is better because you could not know whether file exists or not. You should send correct header when you know for certain that you can read contents of your file. Also, if you have branches of code that does not finish with '.end()', browser will wait until it get them. In other words, your browser will wait a long time.
var fs = require("fs");
var filename = "./index.html";
function start(resp) {
fs.readFile(filename, "utf8", function(err, data) {
if (err) {
// may be filename does not exists?
resp.writeHead(404, {
'Content-Type' : 'text/html'
});
// log this error into browser
resp.write(err.toString());
resp.end();
} else {
resp.writeHead(200, {
"Content-Type": "text/html"
});
resp.write(data.toString());
resp.end();
}
});
}
I realize this is somewhat of an older post, but for anyone that comes to this page looking for a similar solution...
http://api.jquery.com/jQuery.getScript/
jQuery.getScript( url, [ success(data, textStatus) ] )
url
- A string containing the URL to which the request is sent.
success(data, textStatus)
- A callback function that is executed if the request succeeds.$.getScript('ajax/test.js', function() { alert('Load was performed.'); });
Delete 'Web.Debug.config' and 'Web.Release.config' file for your solution directory,it should remove all errors
You can do it with animate function in jQuery.
$({ countNum: $('.code').html() }).animate({ countNum: 4000 }, {
duration: 8000,
easing: 'linear',
step: function () {
$('.yourelement').html(Math.floor(this.countNum));
},
complete: function () {
$('.code').html(this.countNum);
//alert('finished');
}
});
Not always there's a servlet before of an upload (I could use a filter for example). Or could be that the same controller ( again a filter or also a servelt ) can serve many actions, so I think that rely on that servlet configuration to use the getPart method (only for Servlet API >= 3.0), I don't know, I don't like.
In general, I prefer independent solutions, able to live alone, and in this case http://commons.apache.org/proper/commons-fileupload/ is one of that.
List<FileItem> multiparts = new ServletFileUpload(new DiskFileItemFactory()).parseRequest(request);
for (FileItem item : multiparts) {
if (!item.isFormField()) {
//your operations on file
} else {
String name = item.getFieldName();
String value = item.getString();
//you operations on paramters
}
}
Looks like your form is submitting which is the default behaviour, you can stop it with this:
<form action="" method="post" onsubmit="completeAndRedirect();return false;">
You can see and select which Swift version Xcode is using in:
Target -> Build Settings -> Swift Language Version:
This is available in Xcode 8.3 and Xcode 9 (haven't checked older versions)
You might get even better results if you try:
console.log(JSON.stringify(obj, null, 4));
Try the --cd= option. Assuming your GIT Bash resides in C:\Program Files\Git it would be:
"C:\Program Files\Git\git-bash.exe" --cd="e:\SomeFolder"
If used inside registry key, folder parameter can be provided with %1:
"C:\Program Files\Git\git-bash.exe" --cd="%1"
To update just one gem (and it's dependencies), do:
bundle update gem-name
But to update just the gem alone (without updating it's dependencies), do
bundle update --source gem-name

I have also worked on this clausing and extraction operations for my assignment.
I know it is late but I just want to share on what I have done for this. I'm not allowed to add another table or trigger so I need to generate it in a single query upon insert. For your case, can you try this query.
CREATE TABLE YOURTABLE(
IDNUMBER VARCHAR(7) NOT NULL PRIMARY KEY,
ENAME VARCHAR(30) not null
);
Perform a select and use this select query and save to the parameter @IDNUMBER
(SELECT IFNULL
(CONCAT('LHPL',LPAD(
(SUBSTRING_INDEX
(MAX(`IDNUMBER`), 'LHPL',-1) + 1), 5, '0')), 'LHPL001')
AS 'IDNUMBER' FROM YOURTABLE ORDER BY `IDNUMBER` ASC)
And then Insert query will be :
INSERT INTO YOURTABLE(IDNUMBER, ENAME) VALUES
(@IDNUMBER, 'EMPLOYEE NAME');
The result will be the same as the other answer but the difference is, you will not need to create another table or trigger. I hope that I can help someone that have a same case as mine.
Why don't you simply move the code you have in the ApiController calls - DocumentsController to a class that you can call from both your HomeController and DocumentController. Pull this out into a class you call from both controllers. This stuff in your question:
// All code to find the files are here and is working perfectly...
It doesn't make sense to call a API Controller from another controller on the same website.
This will also simplify the code when you come back to it in the future you will have one common class for finding the files and doing that logic there...
It might be a little late to the discussion but inevitably someone will stumble onto this post like I did. I found the answer I was looking for and thought I'd post my own take on it. The following JSfiddle includes how to layer .PNG's with transparency. Jerska's mention of the transparency attribute for the div's CSS was the solution: http://jsfiddle.net/jyef3fqr/
HTML:
<button id="toggle-box">toggle</button>
<div id="box" style="display:none;" ><img src="x"></div>
<button id="toggle-box2">toggle</button>
<div id="box2" style="display:none;"><img src="xx"></div>
<button id="toggle-box3">toggle</button>
<div id="box3" style="display:none;" ><img src="xxx"></div>
CSS:
#box {
background-color: #ffffff;
height:400px;
width: 1200px;
position: absolute;
top:30px;
z-index:1;
}
#box2 {
background-color: #ffffff;
height:400px;
width: 1200px;
position: absolute;
top:30px;
z-index:2;
background-color : transparent;
}
#box3 {
background-color: #ffffff;
height:400px;
width: 1200px;
position: absolute;
top:30px;
z-index:2;
background-color : transparent;
}
body {background-color:#c0c0c0; }
JS:
$('#toggle-box').click().toggle(function() {
$('#box').animate({ width: 'show' });
}, function() {
$('#box').animate({ width: 'hide' });
});
$('#toggle-box2').click().toggle(function() {
$('#box2').animate({ width: 'show' });
}, function() {
$('#box2').animate({ width: 'hide' });
});
$('#toggle-box3').click().toggle(function() {
$('#box3').animate({ width: 'show' });
}, function() {
$('#box3').animate({ width: 'hide' });
});
And my original inspiration:http://jsfiddle.net/5g1zwLe3/ I also used paint.net for creating the transparent PNG's, or rather the PNG's with transparent BG's.
Shortest One Liner
// One liner function:
const addCSS = s => document.head.appendChild(document.createElement("style")).innerHTML=s;
// Usage:
addCSS("body{ background:red; }")

Edit
A better way to do this is:
Create your own less file as a main less file ( like bootstrap.less ).
Import all bootstrap less files you need. (in this case, you just need to Import all responsive less files but responsive-1200px-min.less
)
If you need to modify anything in original bootstrap less file, you just need to write your own less to overwrite bootstrap's less code. (Just remember to put your less code/file after @import { /* bootstrap's less file */ };
).
Original
I have the same problem. This is how I fixed it.
Find the media query:
@media (max-width:1200px) ...
Remove it. (I mean the whole thing , not just @media (max-width:1200px)
)
Since the default width of Bootstrap is 940px, you don't need to do anything.
If you want to have your own max-width
, just modify the css rule in the media query that matches your desired width.
To change the Modal position in the viewport you can target the Modal div id, in this example this id is myModal3
<div id="modal3" class="modal">
<div class="modal-dialog">
<div class="modal-content">
<div class="modal-header">
<button type="button" class="close" data-dismiss="modal" aria-hidden="true">×</button>
<h4 class="modal-title">Modal title</h4>
</div>
<div class="modal-body">
<p>One fine body…</p>
</div>
<div class="modal-footer">
<button type="button" class="btn btn-default" data-dismiss="modal">Close</button>
<button type="button" class="btn btn-primary">Save changes</button>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
#myModal3 {
top:5%;
right:50%;
outline: none;
overflow:hidden;
}
I bet for sure, that this is because you didn't close the running instance of the program before trying to re-compile it.
Generally, ld.exe
returns 1 when it can't access required files. This usually includes
Access denied
)The program looks completely fine, so the second point should not hit. In usual cases, it's impossible for ld
to fail to open the object file (unless you have a faulty drive and a dirty filesystem), so the first point is also nearly impossible.
Now we get to the third point. Note that Windows not allow writing to a file when it's in use, so the running instance of your program prevents ld.exe
from writing the new linked program to it.
So next time be sure to close running programs before compiling.
Right click the project > Replace With > Revision or URL > Select the specific revision you want to revert.
Now commit the local update code version to the repository. This will revert the code base to the specific revision.
If it's acceptible to simply publish your modules preinstalled in node_modules alongside your other files, you can do it like this:
// ./node_modules/foo/package.json
{
"name":"foo",
"version":"0.0.1",
"main":"index.js"
}
// ./package.json
...
"dependencies": {
"foo":"0.0.1",
"bar":"*"
}
// ./app.js
var foo = require('foo');
You may also want to store your module on git and tell your parent package.json to install the dependency from git: https://npmjs.org/doc/json.html#Git-URLs-as-Dependencies
The most likely place to find this sort of information is in the event viewer (under Administrative tools in XP or run eventvwr) This is where most services log warnings errors etc.
To get it to work I had to switch to Java 8 from Java 10 (In my system PATH variable) then go to
C:\Users\Alex\AppData\Local\Android\Sdk\tools\lib\monitor-x86_64 and run monitor.exe.
Not sure about how to have read.csv
interpret it properly, but you can use gsub
to replace ","
with ""
, and then convert the string to numeric
using as.numeric
:
y <- c("1,200","20,000","100","12,111")
as.numeric(gsub(",", "", y))
# [1] 1200 20000 100 12111
This was also answered previously on R-Help (and in Q2 here).
Alternatively, you can pre-process the file, for instance with sed
in unix.
You can also publish a version release on Github, and there's an option to download the source code of that release in a zip file.
You can then share the zip file link to anyone to download the project source code.
Basically it means "nothing" or "no type"
There are 3 basic ways that void is used:
Function argument: int myFunc(void)
-- the function takes nothing.
Function return value: void myFunc(int)
-- the function returns nothing
Generic data pointer: void* data
-- 'data' is a pointer to data of unknown type, and cannot be dereferenced
Note: the void
in a function argument is optional in C++, so int myFunc()
is exactly the same as int myFunc(void)
, and it is left out completely in C#. It is always required for a return value.
The practical reason why this doesn't work is not related to threads. The point is that node.left
is effectively translated into node.getLeft()
.
This property getter might be defined as:
val left get() = if (Math.random() < 0.5) null else leftPtr
Therefore two calls might not return the same result.
When the use logs in, put its username in the session:
`session.setAttribute("USER", username);`
At the beginning of each page you can do this:
<%
String username = (String)session.getAttribute("USER");
if(username==null)
// if session is expired, forward it to login page
%>
<jsp:forward page="Login.jsp" />
<% { } %>
Even though you asked for wait()
and notify()
specifically, I feel that this quote is still important enough:
Josh Bloch, Effective Java 2nd Edition, Item 69: Prefer concurrency utilities to wait
and notify
(emphasis his):
Given the difficulty of using
wait
andnotify
correctly, you should use the higher-level concurrency utilities instead [...] usingwait
andnotify
directly is like programming in "concurrency assembly language", as compared to the higher-level language provided byjava.util.concurrent
. There is seldom, if ever, reason to usewait
andnotify
in new code.

}
Goto Package properties->Configurations->Enable Package Configurations->Add->xml configuration file->Specify dtsconfig file->click next->In OLEDB Properties tick the connection string->connection string value will be displayed->click next and finish package is hence configured.
You can add Environment variable also in this process
You just need to correct the format of your html
<form>
<li>Number 1: <input type="text" ng-model="one"/> </li>
<li>Number 2: <input type="text" ng-model="two"/> </li>
<li>Total <input type="text" value="{{total()}}"/> </li>
{{total()}}
</form>
If you really need to use a secure foreach interface to iterate an object and make it reusable and clean with a npm module, then use this, https://www.npmjs.com/package/foreach-object
Ex:
import each from 'foreach-object';
const object = {
firstName: 'Arosha',
lastName: 'Sum',
country: 'Australia'
};
each(object, (value, key, object) => {
console.log(key + ': ' + value);
});
// Console log output will be:
// firstName: Arosha
// lastName: Sum
// country: Australia
This would restore focus to the previous application and exit the script if the answer was empty.
a=$(osascript -e 'try
tell app "SystemUIServer"
set answer to text returned of (display dialog "" default answer "")
end
end
activate app (path to frontmost application as text)
answer' | tr '\r' ' ')
[[ -z "$a" ]] && exit
If you told System Events to display the dialog, there would be a small delay if it wasn't running before.
For documentation about display dialog, open the dictionary of Standard Additions in AppleScript Editor or see the AppleScript Language Guide.

I'll throw jsTree into the ring, too. I've found it fairly adaptable to your particular situation. It's packed as a jQuery plugin.
It can run from a variety of data sources, but my favorite is a simple nested list, as described by @joe_coolish or here:
<ul>
<li>
Item 1
<ul>
<li>Item 1.1</li>
...
</ul>
</li>
...
</ul>
This structure fails gracefully into a static tree when JS is not available in the client, and is easy enough to read and understand from a coding perspective.
I solved the problem easily (pragmatic) by adding the option to the constructor. Thus, i use that only when needed.
public class Something : DbContext
{
public Something(bool MultipleActiveResultSets = false)
{
this.Database
.Connection
.ConnectionString = Shared.ConnectionString /* your connection string */
+ (MultipleActiveResultSets ? ";MultipleActiveResultSets=true;" : "");
}
...
I would also highly recommend Adminer - http://www.adminer.org/
It is much faster than phpMyAdmin, does less funky iframe stuff, and supports both MySQL and PostgreSQL.
In Xcode 5 this has been moved to:

I spent some time to remove the git integration from my visual studio 2015 project. any time i remove git from visual studio, and add TFS by following this -- Tools -> option -> sourceControl -> plugin selection -> Visual Studio Team foundation server, it used to come back.
My solution was -
making the physical location of my project- Show all hidden files. you can do this by show hidden files and folder option of windows. then i realize, there was a hidden folder called .git something. I kept a full back up of my project folder and also the git folder any other back up that necessary (I kept this back up incase my project breaks, so that i can go back to previous condition).
then i have deleted the hidden .git folder and any other .git related files.
then i try to Tools -> option -> sourceControl -> plugin selection -> Visual Studio Team foundation server. then i open the project by visual studio- File -> open -> project/solution..
after that i noiticed in solution explorer , right clicking the solution namei see "Source control" option , and also in project - right click i see "Add soution to source control".. and this time it didn't add solution to git..
also it is good to remove any git connection from your source control exploerer..if there is any..
so the main thing is that make sure there is no hidden git file in your project file and any other git extension.. hope this will be helpful to someone..
Two suggestions:
std::deque
instead of std::vector
for better performance in your specific case and use the method std::deque::pop_front()
.&
in std::vector<ScanRule>& topPriorityRules;
For windows you can use:
Running Windows command prompt commands in python.
import os
os.system('tzutil /s "Central Standard Time"')
In windows command prompt try:
This gives current timezone:
tzutil /g
This gives a list of timezones:
tzutil /l
This will set the timezone:
tzutil /s "Central America Standard Time"
For further reference: http://woshub.com/how-to-set-timezone-from-command-prompt-in-windows/
My current solution is to run:

As far as I know, there's a good library called localeplanet
for Localization and Internationalization in JavaScript. Furthermore, I think it's native and has no dependencies to other libraries (e.g. jQuery)
Here's the website of library: http://www.localeplanet.com/
Also look at this article by Mozilla, you can find very good method and algorithms for client-side translation: http://blog.mozilla.org/webdev/2011/10/06/i18njs-internationalize-your-javascript-with-a-little-help-from-json-and-the-server/
The common part of all those articles/libraries is that they use a i18n
class and a get
method (in some ways also defining an smaller function name like _
) for retrieving/converting the key
to the value
. In my explaining the key
means that string you want to translate and the value
means translated string.
Then, you just need a JSON document to store key
's and value
's.
For example:
var _ = document.webL10n.get;
alert(_('test'));
And here the JSON:
{ test: "blah blah" }
I believe using current popular libraries solutions is a good approach.
Copying the answer from Chris:
Got it working:
import {AfterViewInit} from 'angular2/core';
export class HomeCmp implements AfterViewInit {
ngAfterViewInit() {
//Copy in all the js code from the script.js. Typescript will complain but it works just fine
}
If it helps you can embed a tab character in a double quoted string:
PS> "`t hello"
$broadcast
or $emit
.If optimizing for dev + production, you could try something like this in your config:
const dev = process.env.NODE_ENV !== 'production'
// in config
{
devtool: dev ? 'eval-cheap-module-source-map' : 'source-map',
}
I am using webpack 2.1.0-beta.19

string stuff here
HEREDOC;
The "HEREDOC" part is like the quotes, and can be anything you want. The end tag must be the only thing on it's line i.e. no whitespace before or after, and must end in a colon. For more info check out the manual.

For a progress bar kind of thing, in Swift 4
I follow these steps:
@IBOutlet var progressBar: UIView!
var progressBarWidth: Int = your value
progressBar.frame.size.width = CGFloat(progressBarWidth)
progressBarWidth += your value
for auto increase the width every time user touches a button. if you want to use truncate
use this:
SET FOREIGN_KEY_CHECKS = 0;
TRUNCATE table $table_name;
SET FOREIGN_KEY_CHECKS = 1;
Looking onto this issue Github - Request/Upload progress handling via @angular/http, angular2 http does not support file upload yet.
For very basic file upload I created such service function as a workaround (using ???????'s answer):
uploadFile(file:File):Promise<MyEntity> {
return new Promise((resolve, reject) => {
let xhr:XMLHttpRequest = new XMLHttpRequest();
xhr.onreadystatechange = () => {
if (xhr.readyState === 4) {
if (xhr.status === 200) {
resolve(<MyEntity>JSON.parse(xhr.response));
} else {
reject(xhr.response);
}
}
};
xhr.open('POST', this.getServiceUrl(), true);
let formData = new FormData();
formData.append("file", file, file.name);
xhr.send(formData);
});
}
http://jsfiddle.net/LRD5x/30/ A simple solution.
HTML
<form ng-submit="sendForm($event)" ng-class={submitted:submitted}>
JS
$scope.sendForm = function($event) {
$event.preventDefault()
$scope.submitted = true
};
CSS
.submitted input.ng-invalid:not(:focus) {
background-color: #FA787E;
}
input.ng-invalid ~ .alert{
display:none;
}
.submitted input.ng-invalid ~ .alert{
display:block;
}
It works for me..
EditText editText=(EditText)findViewById(R.id.edittext1);
put below line of code in onClick()
editText.setFocusable(false);
editText.setFocusableInTouchMode(true);
here hide the keyboard when we click the Button and when we touch the EditText keyboard will be display.
(OR)
getWindow().setSoftInputMode(WindowManager.LayoutParams.SOFT_INPUT_STATE_ALWAYS_HIDDEN);
Improved version of Paulius Zaliaduonis' answer:
In order to make the validation work properly I had to change the Model to:
public class ViewModel
{
public HttpPostedFileBase File { get; set; }
[Required(ErrorMessage="A header image is required"), FileExtensions(ErrorMessage = "Please upload an image file.")]
public string FileName
{
get
{
if (File != null)
return File.FileName;
else
return String.Empty;
}
}
}
and the view to:
@using (Html.BeginForm("Action", "Controller", FormMethod.Post, new
{ enctype = "multipart/form-data" }))
{
@Html.TextBoxFor(m => m.File, new { type = "file" })
@Html.ValidationMessageFor(m => m.FileName)
}
This is required because what @Serj Sagan wrote about FileExtension attribute working only with strings.
Got a better approach to implement the animating FAB menu without using any library or to write huge xml code for animations. hope this will help in future for someone who needs a simple way to implement this.
Just using animate().translationY()
function, you can animate any view up or down just I did in my below code, check complete code in github. In case you are looking for the same code in kotlin, you can checkout the kotlin code repo Animating FAB Menu.
first define all your FAB at same place so they overlap each other, remember on top the FAB should be that you want to click and to show other. eg:
<android.support.design.widget.FloatingActionButton
android:id="@+id/fab3"
android:layout_width="@dimen/standard_45"
android:layout_height="@dimen/standard_45"
android:layout_gravity="bottom|end"
android:layout_margin="@dimen/standard_21"
app:srcCompat="@android:drawable/ic_btn_speak_now" />
<android.support.design.widget.FloatingActionButton
android:id="@+id/fab2"
android:layout_width="@dimen/standard_45"
android:layout_height="@dimen/standard_45"
android:layout_gravity="bottom|end"
android:layout_margin="@dimen/standard_21"
app:srcCompat="@android:drawable/ic_menu_camera" />
<android.support.design.widget.FloatingActionButton
android:id="@+id/fab1"
android:layout_width="@dimen/standard_45"
android:layout_height="@dimen/standard_45"
android:layout_gravity="bottom|end"
android:layout_margin="@dimen/standard_21"
app:srcCompat="@android:drawable/ic_dialog_map" />
<android.support.design.widget.FloatingActionButton
android:id="@+id/fab"
android:layout_width="wrap_content"
android:layout_height="wrap_content"
android:layout_gravity="bottom|end"
android:layout_margin="@dimen/fab_margin"
app:srcCompat="@android:drawable/ic_dialog_email" />
Now in your java class just define all your FAB and perform the click like shown below:
FloatingActionButton fab = (FloatingActionButton) findViewById(R.id.fab);
fab1 = (FloatingActionButton) findViewById(R.id.fab1);
fab2 = (FloatingActionButton) findViewById(R.id.fab2);
fab3 = (FloatingActionButton) findViewById(R.id.fab3);
fab.setOnClickListener(new View.OnClickListener() {
@Override
public void onClick(View view) {
if(!isFABOpen){
showFABMenu();
}else{
closeFABMenu();
}
}
});
Use the animation().translationY()
to animate your FAB,I prefer you to use the attribute of this method in DP since only using an int will effect the display compatibility with higher resolution or lower resolution. as shown below:
private void showFABMenu(){
isFABOpen=true;
fab1.animate().translationY(-getResources().getDimension(R.dimen.standard_55));
fab2.animate().translationY(-getResources().getDimension(R.dimen.standard_105));
fab3.animate().translationY(-getResources().getDimension(R.dimen.standard_155));
}
private void closeFABMenu(){
isFABOpen=false;
fab1.animate().translationY(0);
fab2.animate().translationY(0);
fab3.animate().translationY(0);
}
Now define the above mentioned dimension inside res->values->dimens.xml as shown below:
<dimen name="standard_55">55dp</dimen>
<dimen name="standard_105">105dp</dimen>
<dimen name="standard_155">155dp</dimen>
That's all hope this solution will help the people in future, who are searching for simple solution.
EDITED
If you want to add label over the FAB then simply take a horizontal LinearLayout and put the FAB with textview as label, and animate the layouts if find any issue doing this, you can check my sample code in github, I have handelled all backward compatibility issues in that sample code. check my sample code for FABMenu in Github
to close the FAB on Backpress, override onBackPress() as showen below:
@Override
public void onBackPressed() {
if(!isFABOpen){
this.super.onBackPressed();
}else{
closeFABMenu();
}
}
The Screenshot have the title as well with the FAB,because I take it from my sample app present ingithub
requests
does not handle parsing XML responses, no. XML responses are much more complex in nature than JSON responses, how you'd serialize XML data into Python structures is not nearly as straightforward.
Python comes with built-in XML parsers. I recommend you use the ElementTree API:
import requests
from xml.etree import ElementTree
response = requests.get(url)
tree = ElementTree.fromstring(response.content)
or, if the response is particularly large, use an incremental approach:
response = requests.get(url, stream=True)
# if the server sent a Gzip or Deflate compressed response, decompress
# as we read the raw stream:
response.raw.decode_content = True
events = ElementTree.iterparse(response.raw)
for event, elem in events:
# do something with `elem`
The external lxml project builds on the same API to give you more features and power still.
Your task declaration is incorrectly combining the Copy
task type and project.copy
method, resulting in a task that has nothing to copy and thus never runs. Besides, Copy
isn't the right choice for renaming a directory. There is no Gradle API for renaming, but a bit of Groovy code (leveraging Java's File
API) will do. Assuming Project1
is the project directory:
task renABCToXYZ { doLast { file("ABC").renameTo(file("XYZ")) } }
Looking at the bigger picture, it's probably better to add the renaming logic (i.e. the doLast
task action) to the task that produces ABC
.
add this at the top of file,
header('content-type: application/json; charset=utf-8');
header("access-control-allow-origin: *");
I dislike "Don't" answers, but... don't.
make
's variables are global and are supposed to be evaluated during makefile's "parsing" stage, not during execution stage.
In this case, as long as the variable local to a single target, follow @nobar's answer and make it a shell variable.
Target-specific variables, too, are considered harmful by other make implementations: kati, Mozilla pymake. Because of them, a target can be built differently depending on if it's built standalone, or as a dependency of a parent target with a target-specific variable. And you won't know which way it was, because you don't know what is already built.
Two ways
gradle.properties
in the .gradle
directory in your HOME_DIRECTORY
set org.gradle.java.home=/path_to_jdk_directory
or:
In your build.gradle
compileJava.options.fork = true
compileJava.options.forkOptions.executable = '/path_to_javac'
See http://api.jquery.com/jQuery.ajax/, there's mention of datatype and contentType there.
They are both used in the request to the server so the server knows what kind of data to receive/send.
I did an attempt to port cocos2d-iphone to GNUstep so that you can Develop game based on cocos2d. However for publishing you need a mac. cocos2d-GNUstep.
Try with enabling the sub-thread as daemon-thread.
Recommended:
from threading import Thread
t = Thread(target=<your-method>)
t.daemon = True # This thread dies when main thread (only non-daemon thread) exits.
t.start()
Inline:
t = Thread(target=<your-method>, daemon=True).start()
Old API:
t.setDaemon(True)
t.start()
When your main thread terminates ("i.e. when I press Ctrl+C"), other threads will also be killed by the instructions above.
Another approach would be to extended jquery like this:
$.fn.toggleCheckbox = function() {
this.attr('checked', !this.attr('checked'));
}
Then call:
$('.offer').find(':checkbox').toggleCheckbox();
image
has a shape of (64,64,3)
.
Your input placeholder _x
have a shape of (?, 64,64,3)
.
The problem is that you're feeding the placeholder with a value of a different shape.
You have to feed it with a value of (1, 64, 64, 3)
= a batch of 1 image.
Just reshape your image
value to a batch with size one.
image = array(img).reshape(1, 64,64,3)
P.S: the fact that the input placeholder accepts a batch of images, means that you can run predicions for a batch of images in parallel.
You can try to read more than 1 image (N images) and than build a batch of N image, using a tensor with shape (N, 64,64,3)
I would like to compliment Ram Narasimhans answer with some tips I found on an Excel blog
Non-uniformly distributed data can be plotted in excel in
Just like Ram Narasimhan suggested, to have the points centered you will want the mid point but you don't need to move to a numeric format, you can stay in the time format.
1- Add the center point to your data series
+---------------+-------+------+
| Time | Time | Freq |
+---------------+-------+------+
| 08:00 - 09:00 | 08:30 | 12 |
| 09:00 - 10:00 | 09:30 | 13 |
| 10:00 - 11:00 | 10:30 | 10 |
| 13:00 - 14:00 | 13:30 | 5 |
| 14:00 - 15:00 | 14:30 | 14 |
+---------------+-------+------+
2- Create a Scatter Plot
3- Excel allows you to specify time values for the axis options. Time values are a parts per 1 of a 24-hour day. Therefore if we want to 08:00 to 15:00, then we Set the Axis options to:
Alternative Display:
To be able to represent these points as bars instead of just point we need to draw disjoint lines. Here is a way to go about getting this type of chart.
1- You're going to need to add several rows where we draw the line and disjoint the data
+-------+------+
| Time | Freq |
+-------+------+
| 08:30 | 0 |
| 08:30 | 12 |
| | |
| 09:30 | 0 |
| 09:30 | 13 |
| | |
| 10:30 | 0 |
| 10:30 | 10 |
| | |
| 13:30 | 0 |
| 13:30 | 5 |
| | |
| 14:30 | 0 |
| 14:30 | 14 |
+-------+------+
2- Plot an X Y (Scatter) Chart with Lines.
3- Now you can tweak the data series to have a fatter line, no markers, etc.. to get a bar/column type chart with non-uniformly distributed data.
If you're displaying a user-readable file name, you do not want to use lastPathComponent
. Instead, pass the full path to NSFileManager's displayNameAtPath:
method. This basically does does the same thing, only it correctly localizes the file name and removes the extension based on the user's preferences.
From further research, I've found:
http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/news-5-1-11.html
An SQL-injection security hole has been found in multi-byte encoding processing. The bug was in the server, incorrectly parsing the string escaped with the mysql_real_escape_string() C API function.
This vulnerability was discovered and reported by Josh Berkus and Tom Lane as part of the inter-project security collaboration of the OSDB consortium. For more information about SQL injection, please see the following text.
Discussion. An SQL injection security hole has been found in multi-byte encoding processing. An SQL injection security hole can include a situation whereby when a user supplied data to be inserted into a database, the user might inject SQL statements into the data that the server will execute. With regards to this vulnerability, when character set-unaware escaping is used (for example, addslashes() in PHP), it is possible to bypass the escaping in some multi-byte character sets (for example, SJIS, BIG5 and GBK). As a result, a function such as addslashes() is not able to prevent SQL-injection attacks. It is impossible to fix this on the server side. The best solution is for applications to use character set-aware escaping offered by a function such mysql_real_escape_string().
However, a bug was detected in how the MySQL server parses the output of mysql_real_escape_string(). As a result, even when the character set-aware function mysql_real_escape_string() was used, SQL injection was possible. This bug has been fixed.
Workarounds. If you are unable to upgrade MySQL to a version that includes the fix for the bug in mysql_real_escape_string() parsing, but run MySQL 5.0.1 or higher, you can use the NO_BACKSLASH_ESCAPES SQL mode as a workaround. (This mode was introduced in MySQL 5.0.1.) NO_BACKSLASH_ESCAPES enables an SQL standard compatibility mode, where backslash is not considered a special character. The result will be that queries will fail.
To set this mode for the current connection, enter the following SQL statement:
SET sql_mode='NO_BACKSLASH_ESCAPES';
You can also set the mode globally for all clients:
SET GLOBAL sql_mode='NO_BACKSLASH_ESCAPES';
This SQL mode also can be enabled automatically when the server starts by using the command-line option --sql-mode=NO_BACKSLASH_ESCAPES or by setting sql-mode=NO_BACKSLASH_ESCAPES in the server option file (for example, my.cnf or my.ini, depending on your system). (Bug#8378, CVE-2006-2753)

for in
loops over enumerable property names of an object.
for of
(new in ES6) does use an object-specific iterator and loops over the values generated by that.
In your example, the array iterator does yield all the values in the array (ignoring non-index properties).
In case anyone of you wants to write a list wrapper for lists containing elements of multiple classes and want to give an individual XmlElement name according to the Class type without Writing X Wrapper classes you could use the @XmlMixed
annotation.
By doing so JAXB names the items of the list according to the value set by the @XmlRootElement
.
When doing so you have to specify which classes could possibly be in the list using @XmlSeeAlso
Example:
Possible Classes in the list
@XmlRootElement(name="user")
public class User {/*...*/}
@XmlRootElement(name="entry")
public class LogEntry {/*...*/}
Wrapper class
@XmlRootElement(name="records")
@XmlSeeAlso({User.class, LogEntry.class})
public static class JaxbList<T>{
protected List<T> records;
public JaxbList(){}
public JaxbList(List<T> list){
this.records=list;
}
@XmlMixed
public List<T> getRecords(){
return records;
}
}
Example:
List l = new List();
l.add(new User("userA"));
l.add(new LogEntry(new UserB()));
XStream xStream = new XStream();
String result = xStream.toXML(l);
Result:
<records>
<user>...</user>
<entry>...</entry>
</records>
Alternatevily you could specify the XmlElement names directly inside the wrapper class using the @XmlElementRef
annotation
@XmlRootElement(name="records")
@XmlSeeAlso({User.class, LogEntry.class})
public static class JaxbList<T>{
protected List<T> records;
public JaxbList(){}
public JaxbList(List<T> list){
this.records=list;
}
@XmlElementRefs({
@XmlElementRef(name="item", type=Object.class),
@XmlElementRef(name="user", type=User.class),
@XmlElementRef(name="entry", type=LogEntry.class)
})
public List<T> getRecords(){
return records;
}
}
In addition to Alexander Lunas answer ... If you want to add more than one argument just use:
<Route path="/details/:id/:title" component={DetailsPage}/>
export default class DetailsPage extends Component {
render() {
return(
<div>
<h2>{this.props.match.params.id}</h2>
<h3>{this.props.match.params.title}</h3>
</div>
)
}
}
i've been researching for that too but unfortunately the facebook device auth is still on experimental and they didn't give new keys (partner) to use the device auth.
You can find the working example here: http://oauth-device-demo.appspot.com/ Just look at the website source and you can have the appID that works with it.
The other one is twitter PIN oauth it's working and publicly available (i'm using it) https://dev.twitter.com/docs/auth/pin-based-authorization
record = int(input("Enter the student record need to add :"))
stud_data={}
for i in range(0,record):
Name = input("Enter the student name :").split()
Age = input("Enter the {} age :".format(Name))
Grade = input("Enter the {} grade :".format(Name)).split()
Nam_key = Name[0]
Age_value = Age[0]
Grade_value = Grade[0]
stud_data[Nam_key] = {Age_value,Grade_value}
print(stud_data)
You should use TryParse
- Parse
throws an exception if the string is not a valid number - e.g. if you want to test for a valid integer:
int v;
if (Int32.TryParse(textMyText.Text.Trim(), out v)) {
. . .
}
If you want to test for a valid floating-point number:
double v;
if (Double.TryParse(textMyText.Text.Trim(), out v)) {
. . .
}
Note also that Double.TryParse
has an overloaded version with extra parameters specifying various rules and options controlling the parsing process - e.g. localization ('.' or ',') - see http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/3s27fasw.aspx.
Assuming you're using SQL Server, use DATEPART with dw:
SELECT date_created
FROM your_table
WHERE DATEPART(dw, date_created) NOT IN (1, 7);
EDIT: I should point out that the actual numeric value returned by DATEPART(dw) is determined by the value set by using SET DATEFIRST:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms181598.aspx
My problem was that the nuget package manager did not do a real update but the files contained references to older versions, so i first removed all the installed mvc related packages (including razor and web api) then installed them over again and updating the version of the razor in views/web.config to version 3.0.0.
Create Table:
Create Table EmployeeProfile (
EmpId int,
EmpName varchar(50) not null,
EmpPhoto varbinary(max) not null )
Go
Insert statement:
Insert EmployeeProfile
(EmpId, EmpName, EmpPhoto)
Select 1001, 'Vadivel', BulkColumn
from Openrowset( Bulk 'C:\Image1.jpg', Single_Blob) as EmployeePicture
This Sql Query Working Fine.
I've just created new Pod when dealing with this stuff GNTextFieldsCollectionManager. It automatically handles next/last textField problem and is very easy to use:
[[GNTextFieldsCollectionManager alloc] initWithView:self.view];
Grabs all textfields sorted by appearing in view hierarchy (or by tags), or you can specify your own array of textFields.
